Get ready to feel really old because Judd Apatow just revealed how old the baby from Knocked Up is

We’re warning you. If you were born before 1995, this news is about to blow your goddamn mind because director Judd Apatow released a BTS pic from his 2007 film Knocked Up and the caption was nothing short of mind-blowing.

In case you’ve forgotten the premise of the film, let us re-introduce you. The story followed the repercussions of a drunken one-night stand between a slacker (Seth Rogen) and a recently promoted media personality (Katherine Heigl) that resulted in an unintended pregnancy. The film also had an all-star cast including Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Jay Baruchel, Leslie Mann and Martin Starr.

In fact, the story was loosely based upon Mann and Apatow who are married IRL and the birth of their daughter, Maude, who not only starred in the film with her sister Iris, but has found huge success in Euphoria.

Maude and Iris Apatow. Universal Pictures.

At the time of its release, the film garnered a cult following and was a box office hit, particularly due to the success of Apatow’s 40 Year Old Virgin, which made Steve Carell a household name.

Cut to May 2023 and the film is now 16 years old. Firstly, how?! And secondly… we’re crying into our mid-morning coffee.

On May 1, Apatow shared a pic with the caption: “That baby is 17.”

The cast of Knocked Up. Instagram.

While you may think he’s not done the math, the baby was clearly one at the time of filming, making her 17 now.

We’ve searched high and low trying to figure out who this kid is, but alas, no such luck! She’s probably a TikToker now…

Fans and celebrities flocked to the comments section

At the time of publication, the post had garnered 92k likes with famous celebrities and fans commenting on the post.

“Damn, I’m old,” cast member Starr said while Full House alum John Stamos hilariously added: “Which one?”

Rogen wrote a simple “oh no”, while Starr’s co-star in Party Down Adam Scott said: “Wow”.

Instagram.

“And Paul Rudd is still 34,” a fan commented while another said: “My arthritis just started to act up right as I read the caption.” Lol!

Here’s hoping we can get all these legends in a room once more and that we can find out what they baby is doing now!

New details emerge about the shocking death of MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo

MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo was reportedly secretly battling with recurrent bowel cancer in the years before his death at age 46.

According to the Daily Mail, the TV chef kept his diagnosis from the public, receiving treatment while the hit show was not filming.

The outlet is not suggesting that this was the cause; however, it is understood he was first treated for bowel cancer with chemotherapy and radiotherapy a few years ago, before going into remission in 2016.

In 2021, the cancer was reportedly found again with an unnamed friend telling the outlet that he was “coping poorly” with the diagnosis.

JOCK ZONFRILLO

Jock Zonfrillo didn’t talk about the diagnosis in his memoir

Zonfrillo’s memoir Long Shot made no mention of cancer; however, an anonymous source made mention of it to the Mail in 2021 but it was never published.

“I was told the reason why he hasn’t disclosed his medical condition was because he didn’t want people feeling sorry for him, or treating him any different,” they said.

Network Ten has since denied these claims to News.com.au.

Andy Allen and Melissa Leong are said to be “broken”

Entertainment reporter Angela Bishop appeared on The Project on Monday (where he was scheduled to appear) saying his co-stars were “devastated” and “broken” by the news.

“It is a loss of the member of the family here at ten,” Bishop said. “Only 46. That is why this is such a shocking piece of news… They would work 16 hours days together for MasterChef, you couldn’t find closer work mates and confidantes.

“They are devastated, broken is the word descried to me, they are trying to process this news.”

In a radio appearance to promote the new Secrets and Surprises season of MasterChef on Monday, Melissa Leong commented on the close friendship the three judges had.

Jock Zonfrillo’s death

Zonfrillo was found dead at 2am on Monday, April May 1 in a hotel on Lygon St, Melbourne after police performed a welfare check. Reports also suggest that his passing is not being treated as suspicious and a coroners report is underway.

He is survived by wife Lauren and his four children, Ava, Sophie, Alfie and Isla.

Network Ten announce his death

At 2pm on May 1, Network Ten announced the sudden death of the beloved TV host.

“Network 10 and Endemol Shine Australia are deeply shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of Jock Zonfrillo, a beloved member of the MasterChef Australia family. Jock passed away in Melbourne yesterday.

“Jock was known to Australians as a chef, best-selling author, philanthropist and MasterChef judge but he will be best remembered as a loving father, husband, brother and son.

“Determined and talented and with plenty of grit, Jock was born in Glasgow to an Italian father and a Scottish mother, which meant his formative years were heavily influenced by two strong cultures and it was his obsession with food and desire for a new pushbike that at just 12 years old fuelled Jock to knock on kitchen doors looking for a job.

“Jock’s love and passion for food saw him become one of the youngest culinary students to do an apprenticeship at The Turnberry Hotel at just 15 years of age. From that point onwards there was no holding him back and by 17 he was working alongside Marco Pierre White at his eponymous Restaurant Marco Pierre White.

Jock and Marco Pierre White. Tom Huntley.

Network Ten talk about his career

“Throughout his career he worked with world famous chefs and in restaurants all over the world. His talent saw him shine in the world’s most formidable kitchens and he opened Bistro Blackwood and Restaurant Orana in Adelaide after moving to Australia.

“Jock’s Restaurant Orana was recognised with the coveted distinction of three hats in both 2019 and 2020 and he also received global accolades, accepting the prestigious Basque Culinary World Prize in 2018.

“In 2019, Jock was named as a judge on MasterChef Australia in which he took great pride in challenging and coaching the contestants and of course inspiring a nation of home cooks.

“Jock’s charisma, wicked sense of humour, generosity, passion and love for food and his family cannot be measured. He will be greatly missed.”

Zonfrillo’s family also deliver a statement

His family also released a statement.

“With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday,” Zonfrillo’s family said.

“So many words can describe him, so many stories can be told, but at this time we’re too overwhelmed to put them into words. For those who crossed his path, became his mate, or were lucky enough to be his family, keep this proud Scot in your hearts when you have your next whisky.

“We implore you to please let us grieve privately as we find a way to navigate through this and find space on the other side to celebrate our irreplaceable husband, father, brother, son and friend.”

MasterChef Australia was set to premiere the same day; however has now been pushed back.

Recap — Episode 10: Farmer Wants a Wife’s Shelby throws Clare under the bus. Big time

Farmer Wants a Wife Australia episode 10 begins where last night ended with the aftermath of Farmer Andrew leaving the show to pursue things with Claire.

The Farmers reflect on their families who will be joining them during the episode and there’s now only a couple of days left on the farms.

On Farmer Brad’s property, the Ladies have decided to name all the chooks after the girls he’s dated on the show (lol) and Morgan laments that Brad has formed a connection with both Clare and Shelby. The people, not the chickens…

“There’s nothing I can do to change my appearance, there’s nothing I can do to change my personality,” she says. “Brad knows where I’m at, so I just have to focus on that.”

Over on Farmer Matt’s farm, Annabelle reveals she feels “great” about Matt; however, is feeling the pressure and is struggling to share her time with Olivia.

“I feel like Chelsea and I can be overpowered,” she says. “Yeh, it’s a bit hard.”

Meanwhile, Olivia says everything is getting more “intense” and is “concerned” that she doesn’t know where her Farmer stands with the other ladies.

“I feel strongly for Matt,” she said.

Olivia. 7.

Farmer Matt admits that he has feelings for all the Ladies and is concerned he doesn’t know which way to lean.

Meanwhile, Farmer Brenton says that he has “tunnel vision” for the three Ladies he has left.

“The most important thing is that someone will want to come back and live on the farm with me,” he says.

He admits that Jemma coming to the farm has “shaken things up a bit”; although Jemma can clearly see the connection between him and Sophie before Farmer Brenton admits he has no idea who he is going to choose.

Farmer Brenton. 7.

#PavlovaGate rears its ugly head on Farmer Matt’s farm

Host Samantha Armytage has organised lunch for the families of the Farmers and whoever impresses them the most, will win a final 24-hour solo date.

In Bookham, the Ladies are preparing to meet Farmer Matt’s family. Olivia has taken the reigns in preparing the feast, which was not a welcome plan for Annabelle and Chelsea.

After talk of Pavlova and fresh berries in the garden (le sigh), Olivia tells the cameras that it’s important for her to get along with his family and friends and wants to make a good impression by cooking “something nice.”

Annabelle is happy that she is able to do the Pav because it will show she is giving it “a good crack”. She then reveals that she’s never had a good relationship with the mum’s of her past exes, saying that she would go home and cry to her own mum, wondering why they didn’t like her.

“When you get married, you marry the family too,” she says but is still concerned about Olivia.

Annabelle. 7.

All of the households are preparing to meet the Farmer’s family and friends.

On Farmer Brad’s farm, the Ladies are cleaning, while on Farmer David’s farm, Lorelei admits she is “so not ready” to meet his mum.

Farmer Matt’s dad, David and university friend, Alana, arrive to meet his “potential life partner”, with his mum to arrive later because she’s working.

“Somone’s gotta bring in the cash,” David jokes. The ultimate dad joke.

According to Farmer Matt, his friend Alana has always given him “solid advice” that he “trusts”.

Alana. 7.

Farmer David’s nephew Robbie steals the show

At Farmer’s David’s lunch, he says that his family will be able to give him some input on Lorelei, Emily (his obvious choice) and Alyssa, who once again, we genuinely keep forgetting is still around.

Emily is nervous AF but thinks she and her Farmer are in “a really good spot”. She reflects on her 24-hour date and reveals she’s never met a boyfriend’s parents before.

Then the cavalry arrive in the form of Farmer David’s parents, brother, sister-in-law and newborn nephew, Robert.

Alyssa presents his sister-in-law with gifts for “Robbie” and according to David, he looks “stoked” about it.

Robbie is “stoked”. 7.

Lorelei, meanwhile, is worried about Farmer David’s connection with Emily and wants to “stand out”, even though she struggles with group settings.

Clare asks Farmer Brad’s sister-in-law for employment and Shelby wants to share who Clare really is

Over in Cootamundra, Farmer Brad’s mum Franca and dad, Dave (yes, another one) arrive to meet his Ladies alongside brother Ryan and sister-in-law, Emma.

Shelby says she wants to make a good impression on Brad’s family and says that even though she hasn’t been there as long as the others, she’s still “crushing really hard”. She also says she’s concerned by Clare’s connection and it’s “hard to compete”.

“No free lunches, girls,” Dave says. Another dad joke courtesy of the males in the Farmer’s lives.

Brad’s family and Clare. 7.

Clare then admits she’s a 7.2 out of 10 on the “nerves scale” and we’re questioning where the .2 came from… She says she wants them to like her and is “starting to head towards the L word”.

When Emma announces she’s an auctioneer, Clare asks if they need an other one and after a couple of cold ones “under her belt”, she’d be the perfect person.

Dave then asks the Ladies how they’ve “found the whole situation”.

“Awkward?” he says and the women agree it’s “really weird”.

Shelby continues to be concerned by “the usual charmer” that Clare is, worried that she is not making an impression herself.

“I hope that Brad and the family can see through the charm,” she tells the cameras. “It’s grinding my gears… and I will probably tell them at some point. I know what I want and I get what I want and I want Farmer Brad.”

Shelby. 7.

Farmer Brenton’s dad Daniel tells the Ladies they have “bugger all chance” of going home to their hometowns if chosen

Farmer Brenton’s dad, Daniel, and his two sisters are very “curious” to meet his potential partners.

Over a few sausage sangas, it’s awkies AF, given the fact that Brenton’s family are just as quiet as he used to be.

“It was a little bit awkward,” Brenton’s sister Elly says, praising Jemma for breaking the ice with a question about her boo.

Farmer Brenton’s other sister, Brittney, revealed that Brenton went to work with his dad from the day he was two, with Brenton saying that “young calves have got to teach a bull a few tricks”.

Brittney then says that whoever Brenton picks, they’ll “definitely have to move to the farm”.

Farmer Brenton’s lunch. 7.

Sophie admits that there’s a “bit of pressure to impress the family” and tells them that she grew up on a farm as well.

“Very similar upbringing,” she told them.

She then tells the cameras she was very “lucky” that she had that background and if the “other girls were from the same situation, they’d be bringing it up too.”

Daniel then reiterates to the Ladies that there’s “bugger all chance” that Rachel and Jemma would be able to move back to their hometowns if they were chosen, given that his son is a sixth-generation farmer… and Brenton looked visibly uncomfortable.

Rachel placates Daniel by saying that she wouldn’t be here if she didn’t want to be.

Chelsea reveals she doesn’t want to tell Farmer Matt’s family what they want to hear

Farmer Matt’s dad questions Olivia over her cooking.

“What do you call this, love?” he asks her.

“Rissoles,” she says, giving possibly the most Aussie response ever.

“You should open a restaurant,” he joked before asking the Ladies how they are getting on, “given the difficulties of your situation”.

Olivia says they’re “all respectful”, to which the third dad joke of the episode is revealed.

“Good, because I don’t want to see any holes in the walls.” Lol.

Farmer Matt’s friend Alana then questions whether any of the women have “experience on property” and Annabelle says that she grew up on 17-acres. Meanwhile, Chelsea withdraws.

Chelsea. 7.

“I’m not going to say something to his family and friends just to put myself ahead,” she tells the cameras. “I’m definitely going to be honest with my answers.”

Chelsea tells Alana and David that although she’d be happy to help around the farm, she does want her own career.

“I don’t see my life working here because I have my own goals that I want to achieve as well,” she says and doubt creeps across Farmer Matt’s face.

Farmer Matt. 7.

When his mum Jan arrives, she asks what everyone’s been up to. Olivia is quick to tell her that she cooked that morning.

Shelby throws Clare under the bus

With the family grilling well underway, and before they got too comfortable, the Farmers have received a letter from host Sam.

The note comes with the surprise that the family must choose who will go on the last ever 24-hour solo date with their bae.

“Ladies, my advice to you is to get to know Farmer (insert name here)’s loved ones and let them get to know the real you.”

Emily starts to panic saying that she can’t let the “old feelings resurface” about Farmer David and Lorelei while Annabelle also begins to freak the eff out, calling the date with Matt “important”.

“Let the interrogations begin,” Farmer David says. Let them begin, indeed!

On Farmer Brad’s farm, Morgan happily admits that she was “overwhelmed” by farm lyfe but calls the opportunity “incredible” and says that she just has to be herself.

“You give it a crack,” she says.

Morgan, Clare and Shelby. 7.

Sister-in-law Emma wants Farmer Brad to find someone who is “passionate” about his lifestyle and “wants what he wants”, while brother Ryan is concerned that being on the farm is so different to what they’re all doing at the moment.

Shelby then sits down with Ryan and within five seconds, throws Clare under the bus.

“I don’t know if fake is the right term…but the side I see of Clare is different to when Brad’s not around. I don’t think Brad’s seen the other side of her. I don’t want to sound like a raging b**ch right now but I just feel like there’s a facade.” Green is not a good colour on you, Shelby.

“I don’t think Brad’s seen that and I don’t know how he would feel if he had seen that.”

Ryan is concerned by the news but is also cautious, thinking that Shelby just wants more time with Brad.

Chelsea doesn’t know how she feels about Farmer Matt and Farmer David makes hearts explode by holding his nephew

Farmer Matt’s dad David pulls Chelsea aside for a little one-on-one time. He said that he noticed she was quiet but that she’s “thinking the whole time”.

She says it’s hard for her because she doesn’t want to move away from her family and doesn’t want to “let Matt down”. She begins to cry and David gives her a hug.

Chelsea also doesn’t know how she feels about Farmer Matt, which is concerning…

chelsea fwaw
Chelsea.

“I feel comfortable opening up to David,” she said.

Back on Farmer David’s farm, this happened.

Farmer David and Robbie. 7.

“I’m definitely looking forward to having a family on the farm,” Farmer David says as hearts collectively explode all over the country.

While Farmer David is busy being an uncle, Emily is concerned that Lorelei is having a great time with his family and is whisked away by his mum Rosie to have a chat.

“I’ve never had a serious relationship,” she admitted. “What I’m feeling for David is really special…there’s something different this time.”

Rosie seems concerned by Emily’s responses about not being in a committed relo before and probes her further.

“There’s so many feelings,” Emily said. “It feels really right.”

Over on Farmer Matt’s farm, he has turned to Alana for advice. She says that the decision will be hard for him. He tells her he is concerned about Chelsea and that Annabelle has a vivacious personality. He also admitted that he and Olivia had an “instant connection”…which kind of proves where is head is leaning.

Matt and Alana. 7.

Annabelle chats with Jan and David about not wanting to just be a farmers wife; however, gets upset when Jan invites Olivia for some one-on-one time.

Annabelle leaves the table feeling unwell and Farmer Matt talks to her

Farmer Brad thinks that “all the girls” are interacting quite well with his family and is interested to see who they choose.

Franca takes Clare for a talk and reminds her of how small Cootamundra is and hopes that he thinks with his heart and not his head.

Meanwhile, Annabelle has left the table at Farmer Matt’s and he goes to find her. She says she’s feeling “really bad” and that she’s struggling.

“I don’t want you guys to think that I’m some bimbo,” she says.

Jan says she’s sad she didn’t get to finish their conversation but “the farm is not always a glamorous place” and is concerned she won’t cope with the heat of the farm. Farmer Matt is a dream as always.

Annabelle and Farmer Matt. 7.

Annabelle is concerned that her family don’t like her; however, Farmer Matt assures her that they — and he — “love” her vivacious personality.

“That’s what I love about you,” he says.

“The big thing in my family is that they’ll accept whoever I want in my life,” he adds. “And if you want to be that person in my life, you need to show them who you are.”

Farmer Matt tells her that she is “really important” to him and that she shouldn’t feel like she’s “stuffed anything up”.

“I really appreciate you for who you are.” God, this kid. He’s divine.

Over at sauso sanga heaven, all the women want to be chosen, but especially Jemma. Sophie decides to go in hard and asks Elly for a talk.

She tells her that Farmer Brenton and her have a very “strong” connection and that she is falling in love with him.

Jemma then chats to Brittney and says there was a “spark” with Brenton from the second they met and she thinks she “cracked” him when it comes to opening up.

The families make a decision on the final 24-hour dates

Farmer David’s family want Lorelei and Emily to win the date while Farmer Brad’s family are confused over Shelby’s earlier admission about Clare.

After the longest family lunch in history, the families choose who will get the final 24-hour solo date with the Farmers. Here’s what happened:

  • Farmer David — Lorelei (Alyssa spiralled, saying that it was “disheartening” she wasn’t chosen and Emily was concerned about the next two weeks)
  • Farmer Brenton — Sophie (Brittney told them that they’d be happy with any of them as sisters)

Before Farmer Brad’s date is revealed, Shelby says that if she’s not chosen, she doesn’t know how that “leaves her standing”.

Then, after all the drama of #PavlovaGate, Annabelle has missed out on serving her infamous Pav due to feeling ill; however:

  • Farmer Matt — Annabelle! Love this for her!

“It does make me a little bit nervous that something could change between them,” Olivia says, concerned his feelings for her will in turn shift.

Then, Ryan shared the news of who would be sharing time with Brad.

  • Farmer Brad — Clare
Shelby. 7.

Morgan says her “feelings” have grown and Shelby was devo.

“I’m still undecided whether I should tell him what he doesn’t see as I don’t want to come across as that crazy jealous person,” she says. Too late.

The real reason Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 has such a high success rate in love

On April 30, Farmer Wants a Wife’s Farmer Andrew revealed that he had eyes for one woman and one woman only, Claire Saunders and while this is certainly a love story we won’t forget, there’s four more coming our way!

In an interview with Chattr, head of reality at the Seven Network Sylvia D’Souza revealed that there were “a couple of things” that were “different” this year which aided in the high success rate.

“We have a new production team on Farmer this series, through Eureka production. At the helm was executive producer Janine Cooper of Bachelor fame,” she said. “I think she embraced the ethos of Farmer front and centre and kept the series focused on real love and the drama around falling in love and nothing else.”

While D’Souza admitted she always “bangs on” about “real love”, Cooper made it happen.

“The results speak for itself,” she said.

Farmer Andrew and Claire. 7.

The success of the show boils down to one thing

For D’Souza, the success of the show boils down to one thing: genuine farmers.

“It’s really authentic,” she said. “You get down-to-earth farmers who don’t participate in reality TV normally. People talk about ‘authentic’ and ‘genuine’, which becomes a buzzword that has no meaning, but in this show, it’s real and I think the audience sees that.”

While some farmers in the past haven’t found their perfect match, this year, the farmers were on a mission to find someone who they connected with.

“These guys came into it with such genuine and open hearts. That’s what made this series successful. They were open to finding real love and they were determined. Their mindsets were great.”

As usual, the five men were able to choose the ladies they wanted to get to know, but according to D’Souza, it was the women in their lives who submitted their applications or urged them to apply.

“Generally, women apply for them,” she said. “They don’t normally put their own hats in the ring. It’s their mothers and the sisters. They convince the farmers or they apply in secret. It’s amazing the women of this world.”

Farmer Wants a Wife continues on 7 and 7Plus.

Every explosive thing The Markles said about Meghan on 7News Spotlight

Meghan Markle cannot catch a break.

During a “world exclusive” interview with 7News Spotlight on April 30, the estranged family of the Duchess of Sussex — father Thomas Markle, her half-sister Samantha Markle and her half-brother Thomas Markle Jr — took part in a scathing chat calling the former princess’ actions “hateful and cruel”.

While we’ve seen them all separately over the years, the occasion marked the first time the three had sat together, claiming she had “iced” them out of her life.

Alongside the sit-down chat, they shared never-before-seen footage of Meghan which included photos of her growing up in Los Angeles and a clip of her as homecoming queen.

Meghan Markle. 7.

According to the Markle’s, Prince Harry’s wife has made it a full-time job of “hurting” her father, who is suffering from a stroke with the 78-year-old pleading for her to make amends before it was too late.

Thomas, 78, also spoke of the letter she wrote to him a few years ago. Ya know, the one HE leaked to the press, which he insisted he shared with the public in a bid to protect her.

“It was a horrible letter. Very insulting and cruel,” he told host Liam Bartlett.

“The other things in that letter is [sic] so hateful and so cruel that I wouldn’t put it out, and that’s more protecting her than myself.”

Thomas Markle Sr claims he hasn’t spoken to his daughter in four years

Elsewhere, Thomas said that he hadn’t spoken to his daughter for four years.

“I wish that we can sit down and talk,” he said. “I wish we could work out our differences.

“She has got to ask herself this every day, why am I doing this to my father? She loved me. I’m her hero. And suddenly I was thrown out.

“Well, is it worth dumping me for the rest of my life? Denying my grandchildren? Is it worth all of that? Is it worth getting rid of her father? How can I fix this?”

He then called Prince Harry “a nice guy”.

“I love you for marrying my daughter,” he said. “Meg, I love you. I love my grandchildren. I love to see them and am open to any kind of conversation.”

Meghan and her family. 7.

Thomas Markle regrets using paparazzi during the royal wedding

One of the most infamous moments of their fractured relationship came when Thomas paid off paparazzi to take photos of him before her wedding to Harry in 2018, which her father said he regretted.

Meanwhile, her half-sister was not so apologetic.

“She would still be a waitress if it wasn’t for dad”, Samantha said.

Thomas Markle Sr. 7.

“They’re really unhealthy for each other. I think it’s a toxic relationship because they’re co-dependent.”

Speaking of Meghan she said:

“It doesn’t seem like she felt that she was good enough. That seemingly in her mind she had to inflate who she was, to garner false admiration and to be accepted by the royals.

“Instead of saying, look, I’ve worked very hard, my family was upper middle class. My dad was amazing, he put me through the best schools, he did the best he could, he loved me, he sacrificed, and for that I’m grateful.

“Instead, what she did was engage in self-glorification and leave everybody else out of the equation as if she existed in a vacuum.” Ooft.

Samantha Markle claimed that Meghan was a “narcissist”

When asked by Bartlett if she thought Meghan was a “narcissist”, Samantha said: “World-renowned psychiatrists have been quoted as saying that, and I have a master’s degree in counselling. So I’m going to say with the degree of confidence that I believe and agree with that diagnosis.”

Samantha also said that she believed Meghan wouldn’t apologise “without a motive”.

“I don’t think she’s capable of empathy, remorse, or shame. I don’t think she could feel enough to apologise.”

Her brother then called for an apology.

Samantha Markle. 7.

“Who is she going to have to turn to in the family, that she hasn’t thrown under the bus? Like I said, a simple apology, and it doesn’t have to be in public. But just get it over with and relieve yourself of all that stress.”

Recap: The winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here has been crowned

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Australia 2023 drew to a close on Sunday, April 30 and it was a bitter-sweet affair. Not only was the Queen of the Jungle crowned, but it also marked Dr Chris Brown’s farewell from the show.

After 14 celebs walked into the jungle and just over four weeks in the South African wilderness, Harry Garside, Liz Ellis and Aesha Scott became the final celebs battling it out to become the reigning monarch.

Aesha Scott, Harry Garside and Liz Ellis. 10.

A record breaking 1.5 million people have voted during the season, with more votes tallied during the finale to crown the winner; bringing it to a total of over two million.

An emotional reunion saw the final three see there family for the first time

But before the winner could be announced, the final three were greeted by their loved ones in an emotional reunion.

While Aesha’s boyfriend, Scott surprised her, Harry’s dad, Shaun came with the news that he was now an uncle; and Liz was able to give her husband Matthew and her kids Austin and Evelyn a big hug.

The families participated in the final trial

In a gorgeous turn of events, the families participated in a final trial with hilarious results.

“Today, your loved ones will be doing all the work,” Dr Chris told the celebs, stating that there were three stars up for grabs.

Austin and Evelyn — clearly having fun giving Liz an electric shock and getting actual crap dumped on her — managed to win one star.

Austin and Evelyn. 10.

Harry’s dad Shaun was tasked with completing the challenge in boxing gloves, with Harry yelling: “I’ll put you in a home early!” However, he managed to win another star!

Scott was up last, and was given some rock climbing glasses. The caveat? It made everything turn upside down!

Giving Aesha a kiss, he then failed the challenge miserably; he still managed to win them a final star.

“When have you ever been bad at something?” Aesha said. “You choose today of all days!”

Scott. 10.

But it wasn’t over. Austin was then given the opportunity to complete the task and if he failed, Dr Chris would get a pie in the face. It was super cute and very sweet!

Unfortunately, after an almost perfect go, Liz’s son hit the wire and host Julia Morris took great pleasure in not only giving Dr Chris a pie in the face, but also a lick. Lol.

Dr Chris and Julia Morris. 10.

The celebrities had a final meal in the jungle

With some fab product placement by Harris Scarfe, the final three celebs were treated to a feast of epic proportions.

“You’ve gotta go without to appreciate with,” Aesha said, before she and Liz agreed it was “better than sex”.

Harry, Aesha and Liz then spoke about how the jungle had changed them.

“This has absolutely changed my perspective on life,” Liz said.

Third place was announced

“It’s time to announce who has come third place,” Julia said. “You were all adored the minute you stepped into the jungle.”

“In third place, the celebrity who must immediately leave the jungle is Aesha!”

10.

“I’m used to being on reality tv, my only rule is going in there and being yourself,” Aesha said before later adding that her life motto is “if it’s not going to kill you, get over it.”

“I feel amaaaaazing,” she said.

Although she came third, Dr Chris announced that 10 would make a generous donation to her charity, the Cancer Council.

Dr Chris and Julia were joined by the most recently evicted celebs and the final two

Julia and Dr Chris spoke with Nathan Henry, Pete Hellier, Adam Cooney, Woody Whitelaw and the most gorgeous guest, Woody’s daughter, Remi.

They all separately said that they wanted “Queen Liz” to win the crown.

Woody’s daughter, Remi. 10.

Once joined by the final two, Dr Chris and Julia asked them what the show had given them.

“I’m really grateful I have a clear direction about what to do in my boxing career,” Harry told them before talking about going to the Olympics.

“Paris is only 15 months away, I’m going to try and change the colour from bronze to gold.”

When talking to the co-hosts, Liz said that she learned resilience from her netball career. She also made the decision to stay grey so that people “like” her could have someone on TV to look up to.

Harry’s then spoke about Reach and Liz spoke about Share the Dignity, charities which 10 will also donate to.

Liz and Harry. 10.

The winner of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2023 was crowned

After a gazillion ad breaks, the Queen of the jungle was finally named.

Congratulations to Liz Ellis!

Recap — Episode 9: Farmer Wants a Wife’s Farmer David should just declare Emily his forever right now

Episode 9 of Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 begins where we left off, the aftermath of Emily winning the ~uLtiMAte rOManTic 24-HoUr DatE~ with Farmer David.

But before love could truly blossom, those not on dates headed back to the farms, giving the newest arrivals a grand tour.

While Farmer Brad’s ladies fought over his body parts, he and Morgan are setting off on their date, “taking their relationship to new heights”.

Farmer Brad has decided that this solo time is make or break and will determine whether he can see a future with her. Morgan also wants to see how “they get along” again since it’s been a few weeks since their first date.

“I’m definitely crushing on Brad,” she says, before wanting to spew…. Luckily she didn’t vom, which is great but also, it didn’t give them a chance to chat.

Morgan and Brad. Seven.
Morgan and Farmer Brad. Seven.

Meanwhile, Farmer Matt and Chelsea go on a shooting expedition and decide that every time one of them hits the clay, they get a kiss. The next few minutes is just a montage of Chelsea nailing it and getting kisses.

Once they’re done at the shooting range, the pair discuss their relo over food and “bubbles”.

Chelsea asks Matt if he has a “five-year plan” and he tells her his focus is on finding love, before she gets upset, saying she’s “unsure” about moving away from WA and her family.

“It does put a question in my mind on how we keep progressing from here,” Matt says.

Farmer Andrew and Claire share feelings

Over on Farmer Andrew and Claire’s date, Claire is concerned they’re going hiking because she’s not dressed for the occasion; however, instead, he takes her to a waterfall for refreshments and making out.

Farmer Andrew and Claire. Seven.

Claire says that the date made her feel “more comfortable” and was the reassurance that she needed.

Farmer Brenton and Rachel then spend time together in a Japanese Garden, drinking coffee and sitting on a picnic blanket.

Rachel asks him how he feels about them as a couple and he says that there is definitely a “connection”.

Farmer Brenton admits that he has no fears going into a relationship and Rachel reveals he’s someone she would take home to meet the family.

Back with Farmer Andrew and Claire, Andrew asks her how he’s feeling about Sarah from Bondi being at the farm. She says she feels “fine” and Andrew admits Claire is someone he could spend his life with. They both agree they haven’t met people like each other before. Cute.

Farmer Andrew and Claire. Seven.

Farmer Andrew says he’s “unguarded” with Claire and has written something down for her.

“Twists and turns are many, while we’re both upon this road. The fast-pace won’t slow for any, be sure to share the load. One day seems like a week in time, full of fun and many tasks, but true love is what I’m here to find, not hide behind a mask.

“From Country Balls to Country Fairs, there’s been some ups and downs, we’re both still on this winding road, while others have left town. So, let’s enjoy this moment, together on this day, but rest assured that Claire, may true love find a way.”

Surprising them both by how romantic he is, Claire wants to know what his “game plan” is.

“I’m basically hanging out for you,” she said.

He tells her that there is no game plan; however, “things are naturally coming together”. Claire says if she moves in, she needs to bring her dogs and Andrew admits there are “feelings” there.

Farmer David and Emily progress their relo on their 24-hour date

Farmer David and Emily go paddle-boarding for the first part of their date with Emily revealing to the cameras that she wants to know what his future plans are.

The couple flirt…a lot. Pushing each other in and out of the water before we catch up with Farmer Brad and Morgan who are eating fondue outside.

Farmer Brad says he’s got some “big decisions” to make and admits he has concerns about being in a long distance relationship with her. Even with reservations, he says their connection is growing and Morgan says she’s told her parents that she would move in a second.

They kiss after expressing some sweet ol’ feelings!

Farmer Brad and Morgan. Seven.

After their dates, the Ladies and the Farmers head home.

When Chelsea and Farmer Matt return to his house, Annabelle wants to know immediately how their date went which is the same sentiment Clare and Shelby have when Morgan and Farmer Brad enter.

Meanwhile, Farmer David and Emily are being swept up in the romance of their date.

“I think he’s feeling the same,” she tells the cameras. “I think that’s a really wonderful thing to say and I just hope it keeps going like this.”

Like a scene from a Sixpence None the Reacher video, there are candles, flowers and a table for two on the end of a jetty and they truly look like a match made in Farmer heaven.

Farmer David and Emily. Seven.

As the date continues, both cannot wipe the smiles off their faces and basically, just hand her the crown and get them married already…

Farmer David asks her where she sees her “life going” and she says it’s harder to “look ahead and not picture it and you”. She says that if she was chosen, she would move to the farm straight away.

“It’s good timing for me,” she adds. “I’ve always pictured doing like engagement, wedding and then family one day.”

They both decide that things will happen when “it’s right” and then kiss. It’s so f**king romantic, we can hardly stand it.

Farmer David and Emily. Seven.

“Are you happy?” he asks her and she nods enthusiastically.

“Yeh.”

“Me too.”

It’s all over for these two, folks. They are a done deal.

The pair then get into a hot tub under the stars with some champers, with both exclaiming “what a day!”. They make out. Again.

Farmer David then admits to the cameras that his feelings for Emily are “strong”.

“It’s definitely a special moment in my life and I won’t be forgetting it any time soon,” he says while Emily thinks “it could be the start of something pretty amazing”.

Emily and Farmer David. Seven.

Farmer Matt takes his Ladies on an “outing” and they meet his dad

Farmer Matt decides to take all of his Ladies on an “outing” which turns out to be a cause close to his heart. And as if he couldn’t get anymore perfect, Farmer Matt reveals he is also a goddamn volunteer firefighter.

He introduces the women to one of their local brigades, including the Captain, his “old man”.

Farmer Matt’s “old man” and his Ladies. Seven.

While Farmer Matt says his dad’s opinion matters, the girls think that Matt is similar to his dad, particularly in how they talk.

Farmer Matt reveals his “dilemma” about his next big decision, wanting to know if what he feels is “concrete”. Once again, he’s confused over Chelsea and has “a lot of questions”.

He’s worried that she doesn’t think their relo has progressed which has formed a few “doubts” over his head.

Farmer Matt’s dad asks if the Ladies could see themselves in Bookham and Annabelle jumps straight in, saying she lives on the Cenny Coast but would give it all up “for love”.

Then, Madelon, who we completely forgot existed, was taught how to use a hose which excited Farmer Matt no end, even though he still didn’t know if there was a “spark” there.

Farmer Matt and Madelon. Seven.

While the Ladies put together a cheese platter straight from Woolies aisle five, Farmer Matt and his “similar” dad talk about them. Based on first impressions, he thinks Annabelle is “full of energy” and that Chelsea is a “bit quiet”; however, said she’s probably “more thoughtful”.

Farmer Matt then questions whether he should keep Madelon in the house considering he’s already grown connections with the others. His dad tells him if he doesn’t feel it, get rid of it… or something like that. He also tells his son that “you’ve gotta be able to be good friends”, otherwise there’s nothing to fall back on.

Farmer Matt then reveals to the cameras that his dad choosing Chelsea and Annabelle was a shock, because it had been a “stark contrast” to what he’d been feeling over the past few days.

Farmer Brad’s Ladies compete over some one-on-one time and one girl leaves Farmer David’s farm

Over in Cootamundra on Farmer Brad’s farm, the girls are tasked with drafting. i.e. getting one bull out into another section, without moving any of the heffers in. He also decides that whoever does the best job will get some one-on-one time.

He thinks it’s a good time to “see how they’re goin’ with it” and also, how he’s goin’ with it.

Clare, Morgan and Shelby. Seven.

Morgan talks to the bulls and the heffers like they’re her children and Farmer Brad thinks it’s hilarious because “she’s out of her depth”. Clare made it look bloody easy while Shelby knew how to “work that stick”.

Farmer Brad chooses Shelby to have some lunch with him. She admits she’s “lovin’ it” and he says he didn’t come on here “to find a worker”, but it would be good if they can get their hands dirty on the farm.

Meanwhile, after a “breathtaking 24-hours together”, Farmer David and Emily return home.

Looking like a god-damn glowing couple, they tell the others that the date was “awesome”. Lorelei and Alyssa then reveal that Leah has legged it after not being chosen for the date.

Lorelei calls what Leah did “ghosting” and that Farmer David “deserved a lot more”. Being an absolute earth angel, he says he wants to call her and check in.

During the call, Leah says that there are “no hard feelings”, but it was time for her to go home.

He then thanks her for all the fun times and she says it was a “great experience”.

Farmer David. Seven.

Farmer Andrew sends two ladies home while the farewell dinners commence

After his date with Claire, Farmer Andrew has come to “an important realisation” because he woke up feeling “excitement” and “anticipation”.

“I haven’t felt this for a long time,” he said. “It’s very clear where I want to go now.”

He pulls Sarah from Bondi aside and tells her that he’s got feelings for someone else and needs to be open and honest.

“Yeh, cool,” she says before they say their goodbyes.

Farmer Andrew then chats to Jessie, who says “hmm” a lot.

Jessie and Farmer Andrew. Seven.

He then tells her that even though he felt a connection, he’s fallen for someone else i.e. Claire and it wouldn’t be fair if he didn’t say something. She also leaves the farm.

During Farmer David’s Farewell Dinner, there are a few nerves (but not for Emily who has already popped her toothbrush in his bathroom).

Lorelei is second-guessing herself and after the yummy roast dinner was served to an awkward AF table, David decides to keep all his Ladies.

Farmer David and his Ladies. Seven.

“Are we happy?” Farmer David asks what seems like his sister wives. “We are,” they say as if they’ve joined a cult…

Meanwhile, on Farmer Brenton’s farm, everyone is also safe from “elimination” and Farmer Brad would also love everyone to stay.

Farmer Matt’s farm is not so lucky. Matt steals Chelsea away for a chat revealing that he was shocked by her earlier revelations, but wants her to stay. He then takes Madelon away from the table and says that he’s struggled to “pursue” their relationship. He sends her home.

Farmer Andrew tells Claire he’s in love with her

Like a scene from The Bachelor, Farmer Andrew suits up and is now left with only Claire on the farm.

Even though the other Ladies left during the day, he tells her to meet him outside at night and she is confusingly confused.

Farmer Andrew says he needs to tell her something. He has kicked Jessie and Shelby to the curb. He says that after he and Claire both put their reservations aside, they started “moving in the right direction”.

Farmer Andrew. Seven.

“My feelings have changed,” he says. “It’s feel like it’s time to share them with you. Claire, I’m falling in love with you.” CUTTTTE!

Claire starts laughing — which is so goddamn relatable — and says she’s not laughing at him, she’s just “very happy” and then jokes that it’s nice he’s doing the talking for a change.

“I’m definitely falling in love with you, for sure,” she says before adding: “So, what happens now?”

Well, this…

Farmer Andrew and Claire. Seven.

And they lived happily ever after.

The season 2 trailer for And Just Like That has been released and Aidan already deserves better

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are back for another season of Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That.

“If you’re lucky, no matter what life hands you, you can always count on your closest friends to be there,” Parker’s Carrie says.

During the first season, Carrie’s husband and original f**kboy Big (Chris Noth) died during the first episode, so it’s no bombshell that the series will be “full of surprises” in this next chapter.

But arguably, one of the more controversial, yet exciting announcements is that the show will reintroduce one of the most beloved characters from the OG series, Aidan (John Corbett).

While Carrie quips: “And just like that I realised some things are better left in the past,” she adds: “But maybe, not everything” so, it’s very likely that love will blossom between the pair.

John Corbett. Max/Binge.

Returning characters Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) and Dr Nya Wallace (Karen Pittman) are back, as is Che Diaz, Miranda’s new love interest, played by Sara Ramirez.

Elsewhere, Charlotte is dealing with her daughter Lily (Cathy Ang) announcing she wants to lose her virginity, which we’re sure will send her mother into a goddamn tailspin!

Premiering globally on August 11 on Prime Video, the film follows Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman), and Britain’s Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) who have a lot in common. They’ve got stunning good looks, undeniable charisma, international popularity … and a total disdain for each other.

Based on the New York Times best seller of the same name, it has been adapted for screen by Tony-award winning playwright Matthew López in his film directorial debut.

What is the plot of Red, White & Royal Blue?

Separated by an ocean, their long-running feud hasn’t really been an issue, until a disastrous—and very public—altercation at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, driving a potential wedge in U.S. and British relations at the worst possible time.

Going into damage-control mode, their families and handlers force the two rivals into a staged “truce.” But as Alex and Henry’s icy relationship unexpectedly begins to thaw into a tentative friendship, the friction that existed between them sparks something deeper than they ever expected.

Unfortunately there isn’t a trailer as yet however, please enjoy this sexy new poster art!

What was the original book about?

Red, White & Royal Blue was written by Caset McQuiston and ontop of becoming a best seller, also won winner for Best Romance and Best Debut novel in 2019 by Good Reads.

The synopsis of the novel is very similar to the movie which is always a win for fans!

Official Synopsis:

First Son Alex Claremont-Diaz is the closest thing to a prince this side of the Atlantic. With his intrepid sister and the Veep’s genius granddaughter, they’re the White House Trio, a beautiful millennial marketing strategy for his mother, President Ellen Claremont.

International socialite duties do have downsides—namely, when photos of a confrontation with his longtime nemesis Prince Henry at a royal wedding leak to the tabloids and threaten American/British relations. The plan for damage control: staging a fake friendship between the First Son and the Prince.

As President Claremont kicks off her reelection bid, Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret relationship with Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations. What is worth the sacrifice? How do you do all the good you can do? And, most importantly, how will history remember you?

Red, White & Royal Blue, based on the New York Times best seller, premieres exclusively on Prime Video globally on August 11.

Everything we know about the new Harry Potter series

The wizarding world of Harry Potter is to be brought to life in a new TV series but can we watch it in Australia?

While there are no international plans released for Harry Potter as yet, in the US, the new show show will appear on Max, the new offering that will replace HBO Max.

With Foxtel securing HBO content until 2025, there is no prospect of Max launching in Australia before then. Launching in the US on May 23, Max will become the destination for HBO Originals, Warner Bros films, Max Originals, the DC universe, the world of Harry Potter, group kids content, and programming across food, home, reality, lifestyle and documentaries from brands like HGTV, Food Network, Discovery Channel, TLC, ID and more.

What will the new Harry Potter series cover?

According to Warner Bros Discovery, “the series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, full of the fantastic detail, much loved characters and dramatic locations that Harry Potter fans have loved for over twenty-five years.”

Despite her problematic and outspoken stance on gender identity, author JK Rowling will serve as executive producer, with the series based on the seven books, over seven seasons.

The series will also be “authentic to the original books” with Rowling saying that “Max’s commitment to preserving the integrity…is important”.

“I’m looking forward to being part of this new adaptation which will allow for a degree of depth and detail only afforded by a long-form television series.”

Will the original cast of the films return?

Unfortunately for fans of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, none of the original cast will return for the Harry Potter series, with no new names to be announced.

Speaking on The Hot Mic podcast, US-based entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider revealed that the new series will make a “concerted effort” to cast POC — including the leads, which is in line with the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage show.

“What I’ve heard about this series is that they will make a concerted effort to cast more people of colour in the show,” Sneider said during an episode.

“Particularly with regards to the role of Hermione… [she could] very well be an actress of colour.”

What other titles have been announced for Max?

Max also provided first looks at additional titles including Max Originals The Penguin starring Colin Farrell; HBO Original drama series The Sympathizer, an espionage thriller and cross-culture satire based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name; HBO Original limited series True Detective: Night Country starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis; HBO Original limited series The Regime starring Kate Winslet; Max Original six-part docuseries SmartLess: On The Road, following Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes as they take viewers on a behind-the-scenes look at the sold-out live tour of their podcast; and Max Original kids’ series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.

Other series include:

  • Original comedy series derived from The Big Bang Theory.
  • HBO Original Game of Thrones prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight
  • Original drama series based on The Conjuring films
  • Magnolia Network’s Fixer Upper: The Hotel
  • Discovery Channel’s Survive the Raft
