TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel opened the 95th Academy Awards (Oscars) with a tongue-in-cheek opening monologue.
Taking aim at Will Smith, he said: “We want everyone to feel safe. We want me to feel safe.
“If anyone in this theatre commits an act of violence at any point in the show, you will be awarded the Oscar for Best Actor and permitted to give a 19-minute-long speech.”
He then made reference to all of those actors who could protect him, including Spiderman’sAndrew Garfield — whose facial expressions got a huge laugh from the crowd.
Kimmel then called out the Academy for doing “nothing” last year, saying that their new “crisis team” would also do “nothing” once again if anything else were to happen.
During the opener, Kimmel — who arrived by parachute onto the stage — poked fun at director James Cameron, saying the show is so long that even he didn’t want to sit through it. LOL! Before turning his attention to Top Gun: Maverick’sTom Cruise.
“Everyone loved Top Gun, everyone. Tom Cruise with his shirt off in that beach football scene? L. Ron hubba hubba! You know what I’m saying?” he joked.
“Tom and James Cameron didn’t show up. Two guys who insisted on us going to the theatre didn’t go to the theatre.”
“Rihanna is here, Lady Gaga is here, and even Elvis is here. Austin Butler is here,” he said, before making a joke referring to his accent.
“Elvis is still in the building.”

If you can honestly believe it, we are now up to the second-last Commitment Ceremony of Married at First Sight. While we swear this season is the shortest in history, we are now up to episode 25… the penultimate couch sesh!
While the Dinner Parties bring the ultimate drama during MAFS, it’s nothing compared to the experts’ wrath — and tonight, some of the couples were delivered some home truths.
But before the couch was the morning of — and some couples are, as expert John Aiken would say — in crisis.
Melinda and Layton woke up in a good place after Layton defended Melinda at Wednesday’s Dinner Party when sh**-stirrer Harrison took personal attacks at her.
Despite attempts to rebuild their connection throughout the experiment, Claire and Jesse’s relationship is fooked, thanks once again to Harrison, who deflected being an a**hat and turned the attention on them.

Speaking of ol’ mate Hazza, he has decided he wants to win Bronte back after breaking up with her during the Dinner Party.
“Tonight during the Commitment Ceremony, I’m going to let Bronte redeem herself to me,” he says. And, make. it. stop.
Now, you’re all caught up. Here’s who stayed (or was forced to stay) and who chose to leave during episode 25 of Married at First Sight?
Alyssa and Duncan
Duncan and Alyssa. Source: Nine.
Alyssa and Duncan had a rocky week at the Married at First Sight Couples Retreat, and Duncan, a.k.a Prince Charming had to reassure his wife that everything would be OK.
Duncan reiterates to Alyssa that he knows her son is a priority after Alyssa says she’s concerned that her hubby doesn’t think so, however, he believes there is something deeper they need to discuss around being vulnerable instead of picking apart his behaviour.
When asked whether her expectations were too high, Duncan admitted it was a concern, which once again upsets Alyssa — she has a child, she wants to be a priority and she has expectations.
Alyssa cries, says “I feel sick” and leaves the couch. While Duncan follows her and begs him to leave her alone, she heads into the lift and leaves.
“I wanna leave,” she says. “I really want to go.”
Duncan tells the group that Alyssa has left, and expert Alessandra calls the “level of reaction… intense”, before he admits the relationship is “tough”.
Alyssa then returns to the couch, calling it “hard to hear that her expectations are too much”.
“I felt like, in the Couple’s Retreat, no matter what I did was wrong,” Duncan says before admitting that he understands where she is coming from; however, Alyssa says he makes her “feel like a bad person”.
Duncan’s decision: Stay
Alyssa’s decision: Stay
Tahnee and Ollie
Ollie and Tahnee. Source: Nine.
Tahnee and Ollie are by far the strongest couple of the experiment — which scares us greatly because you never know WTF will happen.
Once again, the pair have been discussing what a future outside the experiment would look like, with Ollie even saying he would move to Sydney for his fake bride and when Alessandra asks if they are falling in love, they both say “yes”. Cute!
Tahnee’s decision: Stay
Ollie’s decision: Stay
Lyndall and Cameron
Cam and Lyndall. Source: Nine.
While they’ve had a few bumps in the road, ultimately, the Couples Retreat was “awesome” for Lyndall and Cameron.
Lyndall felt like the time away was a reminder of their honeymoon because Cam was allowed outdoors.
When expert Mel Schilling asks if Cam has feelings for Lyndall, he says he has “strong feelings”, although he has concerns about what will happen when the experiment is over because they haven’t talked about it.
Lyndall’s decision: Stay
Cameron’s decision: Stay
Bronte and Harrison
Bronte and Harrison. Source: Nine.
Once again, Bronte and Harrison were under the microscope of the Experts with John questioning why they broke up last night and now are a unified couple.
Bronte explained that because Harrison was a sh**head during the Couples retreat, they ended things; however, she still had feelings for him.
She then said that it was because of his insecurities that the argument took place, and that he was just asking for reassurance — which is ridonculous because obviously that’s all she gives him.
When questioned whether he’s ever manipulated her, Harrison rejects the notion and the group could hardly contain their shock at his absolute bullsh**tery.
Harrison then said the problem is that Bronte gets emotional and worked up before earth angel John cut off.
John tells him that he continues to blame Bronte but needs to take accountability for his f**ked actions, but because Harrison has zero self-awareness, he can’t name a single time he is botched anything. LOL.
As per usual, they go around in circles as John encourages Harrison to take a look inwards.
Claire and Melinda are like “WTAF bro”, with Lyndall telling Bronte that her bae is “emotionally manipulating” her.
Harrison goes in to defend himself, while John once again interrupts and asks Bronte if she feels that way.
She thinks it’s all real and doesn’t think she owes anyone an explanation, but then says she doesn’t feel “good enough” for her husband. Cool.
Harrison’s decision: Stay
Bronte’s decision: Stay
Evelyn and Rupert
Evelyn and Rupert. Source: Nine.
We are still shocked that Evelyn and Rupert are still together because they go together like cement and jam, however, somehow, it seems to be working.
Apparently, they even FLIRT, which is concerning since they are married.
The couple haven’t “gone all the way”, but it is in the cards because of their mutual sexual attraction.
Evelyn’s decision: Stay
Rupert’s decision: Stay
Melinda and Layton
Melinda and Layton. Source: Nine.
Melinda and Layton are next to face the Experts, and Melinda explains that Bronte told her that Layton wasn’t on the same page as her, causing her some “turmoil”.
Melinda said she knew it wasn’t true; however, when she brought it up with Layton it caused conflict.
Luckily, Layton had her back during the cursed Dinner Party, so she loves this from him.
Layton then said that their main problem is the various issues around them i.e. the other couples who won’t butt out, which stop them from moving forward.
John tells him he’s being too analytical and not being emotional enough and Layton admits to not being as emotional as he could be in relationships.
John encourages him to lean into his feelings.
Melinda’s decision: Stay
Layton’s decision: Stay
Claire and Jesse
Claire and Jesse. Source: Nine
Mel said it was hard to watch Claire and Jesse’s relationship “shift” throughout the Dinner Party. Jesse said that it was the other couples who caused the chaos, i.e. Harrison, who said that Claire was only writing stay to protect her “image”.
The comment — which was purely a distraction from his own behaviour — triggered Jesse’s past hurt when Claire came clean about kissing Adam.
While Claire says they were moving into a better place, she blamed ol’ mate Harrison for throwing a grenade to deflect what he was facing at the table.
Harrison interjects to once again defend himself, but Claire shut him down.
John — who clearly has a mission to hold Harrison accountable for his behaviour — probed Harrison about why he made the comment. Once again, he blamed Bronte, this time because apparently, SHE shared the information, before admitting he couldn’t prove whether it was true or not. Lol.
Claire admits she did the wrong thing but stuck around for Jesse — because her feelings are real, y’all!
Both decide to leave and Bronte and Harrison hung their heads in shame…
Jesse’s decision: Leave
Claire’s decision: Leave

Australian Idol returned on March 12 with the Top 8 honouring the heroes in their lives.
Even though Kyle Sandilands was off sick, judges Harry Connick Jr, Amy Shark and Meghan Trainor were on hand to critique the performances.
16-year-old Amali Dimond, paid tribute to her father, former pro NRL player, Craig Dimond, with a performance of Katy Perry’sUnconditionally.
Judge Harry praised the young talent’s song choice and advised her to “keep riding that wave”.
At the same time, Amy and Meghan agreed Amali was “ready” to perform professionally.

Angelina Curtis, performed Born to Try by her hero Delta Goodrem, with Meghan “impressed” by the 15-year-old, noting that her performance had improved from last week.
Harry also praised the performance but cautioned Angelina about song choice for TV audiences who prefer big choruses.

Royston Sagigi-Baira, 23, performed the Miley Cyrus hit The Climb, paying tribute to his Year Two teacher, Miss Alex, who encouraged his musical talent from an early age.
Amy was in awe of the performance, saying Royston had “arrived”.
Harry was impressed that Royston had nailed the emotional connection each week; however, advised the singer to find techniques to ease any nerves that could impact his performance.

Last week’s winner of the save, Noora H, chose to celebrate her online community, which she said had supported her from the first day of her singing career.
Noora performed Scared To Be Lonely by Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa, which the judges agreed played to her favour.
Meghan praised her by saying that the 27-year-old could “slay” any genre.

Phoebe Stewart received a standing ovation for her performance
15-year-old Phoebe Stewart sang You Say by Lauren Daigle, paying homage to to her late grandfather who always wanted her to pursue music.
The teen’s stellar performance had the judges on their feet with the first standing ovation for the night.
“You are Adele,” Meghan said, likening Phoebe’s performance to the famous British singer-songwriter.
Harry commended Phoebe for her musicality and unpredictable performances.

Ben Sheehy, 24, wowed the judges with Wolfmother’sJoker And The Thief, paying tribute to the music school that had been instrumental in helping him find his voice.

Anya Hynninen celebrated her hometown of Selby by singing Feeling Good by Nina Simone.
The 19-year-old’s performance divided the judges, with Harry accusing Anya of “stealing” another artist’s work, saying she should have made it more her own.
Amy disagreed, saying she “loved” Anya’s performance.

Then, in the night’s last performance, Josh Hannan performed Cold Play’s Fix You at the piano. The song was a heartfelt tribute to his music teacher Tracey who is battling brain cancer.
The judges were in awe of the 20-year-old, saying he was a superstar and sent him directly to the Top 6.

There’s a reason why Married at First Sight Australia 2023 is the most-watched TV program in the country. It’s always a wild ride, full of drama, tears and occasional triumphs and frankly, we love watching messy couples hash it out on TV!
Now in its tenth season, viewers have once again tuned in to watch as the MAFS Brides and Grooms are paired by the experts (John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla), meet at the altar and then have to live together, all while enduring toxic Dinner Parties and Commitment Ceremonies.
MAFS experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and Mel Schilling. Source: Nine.
Director of Content at Endemol Shine Australia and former executive producer of MAFS, Tara McWilliams, admitted that some relationships start off “really strong” in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle.
“There’s one in particular that goes from strength to strength and we’re like, this is an absolute sure thing. There are so many things like tick, tick, tick, and it doesn’t. At the final hurdle, it falls in quite an unexpected and controversial way.”
While we don’t know who, we absolutely know for certain that some of these couples are destined for doomsville!
So, what happens after the cameras stop rolling and there’s nothing but real lyfe? Do the loved-up couples stay together, or are they doomed from the start?
We investigated which couples are still together from Married at First Sight Australia 2023.
Lyndall and Cameron
Lyndall and Cameron. Source: Instagram/Nine.
If this couple hasn’t made it in the real world then love is officially dead.
While their union started strong, it hasn’t been smooth sailing, with Cam continuously upsetting Lyndall at every turn, especially since he was having trouble “communicating”
Then, during the sixth curseddinner party, Cam revealed he was “drive in and drive out”, not “fly in fly out”, and admitted that he can be away for up to six months to a year, leaving his Bride devastated.
Cam then admitted he didn’t want to change his “lifestyle” with Expert Alessandra saying she thinks he was getting “cold feet”.
Unfortunately, if the Daily Mail is anything to go by, the couple are no longer together, nor on speaking terms! Oop!
Our verdict: Nope!
Bronte and Harrison
Bronte and Harrison. Source: Nine.
Look, the drama between Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon from the first week alone should be the only reason we’re predicting that these two don’t make it.
During the March 8 episode of the show, Harrison told Bronte he still wanted to be married to her but didn’t want to be in a romantic relationship and somehow, we think that Harrison has no idea how “marriage” works.
But this and the fact that they don’t follow each other on socials means they’re officially over. Thank god.
Verdict: You’d be lying to yourself if you thought this Married at First Sight couple could make it.
Rupert and Evelyn
Rupert and Evelyn. Source: Nine.
Look, this couple is as odd as a pair of socks after a wash.
While Evelyn Ellis is a strong-willed, outgoing personality, Rupert Bugden is… not.
They do seem to want to try though, which is nice, but there’s no way they’re still together.
Verdict: Nah. Surely, not!
Ollie and Tahnee
Ollie and Tahnee. Source: Instagram/Nine.
Another “if they aren’t still together, love is dead” couple.
Truly, from the minute they met, Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook have been a match-made in MAFS heaven.
From constant goggly eyes to sweet kisses and posting the most romantic pics of each other on their official socials, we think it’s safe to say that they’re still together.
Even though Duncan’s response to Alyssa’s admission she was “the other woman” during a previous relationship was… questionable at best, he did manage to put it aside and they do seem to be quite sweet together.
Since their first week, the couple have seen some ups and downs but we’ve still got our fingers and toes crossed.
Verdict: Here’s hopin’!
Melinda and Layton
Melinda and Layton. Source: Nine.
Melinda Willis and Layton Mills‘ wedding was controversial to say the least. While Layton took one look at his new Bride and fell-head-over heels, Melinda was severely unimpressed.
Touted as the villain for the season, Melinda caused a riot on Twitter, however, seemingly changed the country’s opinion when she “saw right through” Harrison’s Dinner Party BS.
Then, Melinda became an absolute BOSS B*TCH, turning her status from zero to hero, and she and Layton began to fall for each other.
While they’ve been on a rollercoaster as well, counting the days since they’ve had any fights — they may just actually make it!
After being quite a challenge to watch all season, the couple finally called it quits during the March 12 episode of the show.
Even though they had a minor breakthrough during the February 7 episode (when the Groom opened up about his previous relationship) we didn’t have much hope that this would continue — especially after Claire kissed Adam Seed and Jesse wanted to leave the experiment. Again.
This couple went on possibly the most awkward rollercoaster since the show began, and while they currently follow each other on the ‘gram, this is absolutely MAFS-mandated and they are donezo!
Tayla and Hugo
Tayla and Hugo. Source: Nine.
Since the only reason Tayla Winter found Hugo Armstrong attractive was because of his height, we knew this wasn’t going to last.
Their toxic and confusing relationship saw Tayla yeet herself from the experiment, sneaking home to Tasmania after the Couples Retreat before making a grand re-entry into the experiment during the March 8 Dinner Party.
While she told Hugo she wanted to give him another chance, Hugo had had enough of her BS. He called time on their relationship, and the couple left the experiment before the Commitment Ceremony.
Melissa and Josh
Melissa and Josh. Source: Nine.
Melissa Sheppard and “Disney Dad”Josh White seemed a little mismatched at first, especially when Josh lied about having sex with the self-confessed “freak in the sheets”.
At the time of publication, the pair seem to actually hate each other with a passion, and while they both chose to stay during the February 12 Commitment Ceremony, we don’t see a positive future ahead.
The following week, Josh was a broken man and while Mel chose “stay”, expert John Aiken allowed Josh to leave.
Dan Hunjas and Sandy Jawanda
Dan and Sandy. Source: Nine.
On February 1, The Daily Mail reported that one of the strongest couples of the experiment did not make it passed the final vows.
Not only that, they are also doing a terrible job at keeping it a secret!
Since the photos surfaced, the new couple have made no effort to keep it under wraps — which has reportedly p**sed off the producers.
“Dan had some very angry phone calls from production and publicists and he was made an example of to other cast members,” an insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
Apparently, Dan “wasn’t happy with his edit”, so decided to go rogue! Oops.
The couple finally left the experiment because frankly, Sandy deserved better!
Caitlin and Shannon
Caitlin and Shannon. Source: Nine.
Shannon Adams and Caitlin McConville started off OK, but then during the February 7 episode of MAFS, Shannon decided to rank his bride fourth during the photo ranking challenge.
“You have the potential to just level up,” the Groom told her. “Their natural beauty shines more than yours.” Vomit.
Later in the episode, Shannon admitted he was still “in love” with the mother of his child — which makes us believe this next piece of info could be about him.
“I’m still thinking about my ex… I hate the fact that I say this, but I still love her,” he said. “I just feel like I’m leading two people on.”
According to New Idea, one Groom was “still on-again, off-again with his ex-girlfriend in the lead-up to MAFS” and apparently went on the show to “try to make her jealous.”
The Daily Mail also had something to say and reported that Shannon and his ex-fiancée Jamea Drake were still in touch during the experiment, reconciling after his journey on MAFS was done.
“They were together for about seven years … it was very on and off, but they are happy now,” a friend of the Groom told the outlet before adding: “He was upset after the wedding and wanted out right away.”
“Shan and Jamea kept in contact for the sake of [their daughter] Milli and he would try to FaceTime her every day,” they said.
“He had planned to put in 100 per cent into his relationship with Caitlin but just couldn’t because he was still invested in Jamea.”
The couple left the experiment during the second commitment ceremony.
Janelle and Adam
Janelle Han and Adam Seed. Source: Nine.
Janelle Han and Adam Seed seemed to click straight away upon meeting at the altar, however, thanks to the beauty influencer’s brothers, Adam had to divulge the fact that he was a former cheater, cheater pumpkin eater.
Then Janelle was concerned over the 29-year-old’s career choice a.k.a crypto entrepreneur which caused some serious friction on their honeymoon.
The fall-out from the infidelity broke the couple, and they left the experiment.

The Academy Awards (Oscars) have provided many iconic and memorable historical moments. Unfortunately, some of these occasions are not as fondly remembered due to their undeniably awkward nature.
From Will Smith slapping Chris Rock during the 2022 awards ceremony to Angelina Jolie kissing her BROTHER James Haven in 2000, the Oscars has been the home for many unforgettable faux pas over its illustrious decades-long run in Hollywood.
Join us as we dive head-first into examining five of the most cringeworthy Oscar blunders!
The night Marlon Brando refused his Oscar for The Godfather in 1973
When Marlon Brando turned down his Oscar for Best Actor in The Godfather in 1973, it became one of the most memorable and awkward Oscars moments in history.
Brando, a celebrated actor of his time, sent Sacheen Littlefeather, an Apache activist and actress to the ceremony to reject his award accompanied by an outspoken statement.
His move shocked viewers worldwide – an open rejection of Hollywood’s high standards – becoming one of the most talked-about Academy Awards moments ever.
Offending people with his complex sentiments, Brando’s refusal to accept the Oscar made for a unique and unforgettable night for millions of film lovers everywhere.
John Travolta’s mangled pronunciation of Idina Menzel’s name during the 2014 ceremony
Without measure, one of the most awkward Oscars moments in history occurred when John Travolta butchered Idina Menzel’s name during the 2014 ceremony.
From “Adele Dazeem” to an almost unrecognisable pronunciation of her name made for a cringe-worthy introduction.
Undoubtedly, this moment will forever live on in Oscar infamy and reminds us that even veteran actors are not immune to embarrassing flubs.
Angelina Jolie and brother James Haven’s controversial kiss at the 2000 Oscars
The 2000 Oscars were certainly made memorable by Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven when the two shared a long and uncomfortable kiss on the lips that caused an immediate stir.
While some saw it as an ode to family love, others found it incredibly strange and bordering on inappropriate.
To this day, Jolie and Haven’s kiss at the 2000 Oscars is still one of the most uncomfortable moments in Oscar history.
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announcing the wrong movie as Best Picture in 2017
Who could forget the iconic moment when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway mistakenly announced La La Land as best picture instead of Moonlight in the 2017 Oscars?
Not only was it an embarrassing, cringe-worthy moment, but it also denied the cast and crew of Moonlight its rightful moment to bask in the glory.
As the celebrations on stage quickly turn to confusion, all viewers watching knew that something wasn’t quite right – yet despite this fact, no one could say anything to help fix the cultural faux pas!
The blunder was one of the most uncomfortable Oscars moments in history, providing a great source of entertainment for many years after.
When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars
If the Oscars was expecting a host as witty and entertaining as Chris Rock in 2022, then they got more than they bargained for when Will Smith gave him a shock by slapping him on the face mid-show!
The audience erupted with screams, laughter and shock when Will walked onto the stage and hit the comedian after he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Given Smith and Rock are pros, fans were confused, with some thinking it was a bit to keep viewers engaged – however, we quickly learned it was real and will go down in history as one of the most controversial moments in Oscars history.

The tables were turned for Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) in season four (part one) of You, when after years of doing the stalking and killing, he was the one now being harassed.
In case you’re not all caught up: After relocating to London after murdering his ex-wife and bevvy of others, Joe found himself teaching at a British university. Changing his name to Jonathan Moore, he was determined to leave behind his killer ways.
Even though Joe was doing his darnedest to keep out of trouble — as it goes for him — death and destruction follows and another killer went on the loose, this time trying to frame him!
SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for season 4, part 1 of You
Obsessed with Joe’s past in the US, the “Eat the Rich Killer” surfaced, resolved to murdering everyone in Joe’s new found group of high-society elite — and threatened to only stop if Joe turned back the dark side.
After an Agathie Christie whodunnit and a game of cat and mouse, it turned out that author Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers) was the killer.
Now, a TikToker NerdyBlonde12 has a theory about the novelist and she may just be on to something!
Ed Speelers (Rhys) and Penn Badgley (Jonathan Moore/Joe Goldberg). Source: Netflix
Rhys Montrose Fan Theory
Taking to the popular platform, the fan has a hypothesis that Rhys is actually a figment of Joe’s imagination, and that he’s actually been the one doing all the killing. What?!
Now — before we continue, it’s important to stress that Rhys is (or was?!) a real person, given that Joe is gifted a copy of his book by Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman) and that he delivered the eulogy at Simon’s (Aidan Cheng) funeral.
However, to back up theory, the TikToker said that the one in Joe’s head, is NOT real and here’s why.
Joe and Rhys connect on the fact that they both grew up in poverty and discuss their contempt for the rich who “dance when the world burns, barely noticing it’s even burning”.
Joe blacks out on absinthe and wakes to find Simon dead in his apartment and is also unconscious for the next two murders.
Joe has only ever spoken to Rhys when no one else is around — Sundry House, Simon’s art exhibit and on the balcony after news of is death spreads
Rhys appears after Roald (Ben Wiggins) is knocked out i.e. Joe is the only one who can see him.
The theory suggests that Rhys is the alter-ego of Joe, who he uses to satisfy his criminal cravings.
Jonathan Moore was a real author and his story is telling
Another fan took to Reddit under the sub-Reddit You On Lifetime, questioning if the name Jonathan Moore was a clue.
According to the author, Joe’s new alias is the real-life name of a mystery author who wrote The Poison Artist in 2016. Not only this, but the main character in the novel is engulfed in a murder mystery by drinking…wait for it… too much absinthe! He then pursues a killer who turns out to be all in his head!
Coincidence? We think not!
We’ll just have to wait and see if this fan theory is correct, but it’s a very convincing argument!

Harry Hayden‘s journey on Australian Idol came to an end on March 6 when they did not receive enough votes to continue on in the competition.
Even though the 18-year-old showed a lot of promise the nerves seemed to take hold, ultimately costing them a place in the Top 8 — something they put down to performing live.
“The nerves slowly got worse because being in front of a live crowd was a lot. It was something that I’ve never really experienced before,” they told Chattr in an interview after their elimination.

How do the Australian Idol contestants choose their songs?
Over the past two weeks in particular, we’ve heard the judges talk about “song choice” and now — thanks to Harry — we know exactly how the process takes shape.
“They work with us and really go with our vision,” the singer/songwriter said before revealing that the Top 12 contestants had to submit 50 songs to the producers that they wanted to sing.
Following this, the music team would choose a couple of songs for the week and then the contestants got to choose which they wanted to perform.
“They’ll give us a demo and then we’ll listen to it and then we’ll say what we want to change and they change it instantly,” they said. “They can play any song that’s ever been released, they listen to it once and they’ll just be able to play it. They’re so talented!”
While it may seem easy to choose something you want to belt out, for the Idol alum? Not so much.
“I found the song choice quite hard because I’m a songwriter and I prefer to sing my own songs,” they admitted, adding that it was “because they’re the ones that I connect to the most.”
“It’s the way that I process every single event in my life. I just love my doing my own stuff.”
Australian Idol continues on Sunday at 7.00pm and Mondays at 7.30pm on 7 and 7Plus.

It’s Retreat Week, where our Married at First Sight Australia 2023 couples have escaped the city and have headed to the Southern Highlands of NSW to live under one roof for four days.
Like the 2022 season, our cursed blessed participants are once again shacking up at the STUH-NNING Kalinya Luxury Estate in Bargo, NSW.
According to their official website, the five-star luxury Estate is nestled in the stunning surroundings of a private, five-acre property. The “award-winning, grand, heritage-listed venue boasts premium accommodations imbued with personality and artistic design.”
On top of this, the name Kalinya – is an Indigenous Australian word meaning “good, beautiful and honest”. Concerning, considering the MAFS participants slept in it!
The property is made up of three lodgings, including The Homestead, The Lodge and the Barn, and all three can be rented out starting at a cool $7,720 a night.
Known as one of the finest examples of Australian colonial architecture and craftsmanship, the Heritage Homestead is combined with modern conveniences and style.
It boasts large wrap-around verandahs, grand high ceilings, and beautiful vintage finishes as well as patterned cornices and artworks. There are also Blue Gum timber floors that grace the living areas creating a natural, inviting atmosphere — how Australian!
The Lodge
Kalinya Estate – The Lodge. Source: Instagram.
The Lodge is brimming in history and was once the local nurses’ quarters in the Wollondilly region.
Constructed in the 1850s, it has exposed beams, vintage pendant lighting, floor-to-ceiling shelves, and a gorgeous open fireplace with a French industrial-style kitchen.
The Barn
Kalinya Estate – The Barn. Source: Kalinya Estate.
Another part of the area’s rich historical viewpoint, The Barn started life as a space set up to build submarines, before it became a machinery workshop. Following this, it was converted into horse stables — which gave it its name today.
Now, it’s a large, two-storey spacious high vaulted barn—which houses some of Kalinya’s favourite accommodation rooms.
Its features include: “striking raked ceilings, exposed Oregon walls, and stylish country home finishes with views of the magnificent gardens”.
In true MAFS style, you can get married at Kalinya Estate
While it may need to be saged from bad MAFS juju, Kalinya Estate is also a spectacular wedding venue.
The Carriage House, The Terrace and the Piano & Sports Lounge are perfect locations for whichever size nuptials you may be orchestrating.

It’s been 16 years since a new club joined the National Rugby League (NRL), and now, Stan’s Dawn of the Dolphins will chronicle the rise of Australia’s brand-new team.
Coinciding with the 2023 NRL season launch, the doco will document the formative months of the new club, featuring unprecedented access into the lives of sport’s elite.
Premiering on March 6 (only on Stan), the series will be comprised of three episodes, which will be released weekly.
What will Dawn of the Dolphins be about?
Told through the lens of a fly-on-the-wall camera crew, we’ll see the remarkable tale of the Queensland-based side as they “prepare to transition from a successful community club to an elite professional force in the world’s leading rugby league competition”.
According to the official synopsis, the story will also be anchored by the business of becoming “NRL-ready” and will also include rare glimpses of the pressures and expectations facing the club.
Wayne Bennett will be featured in NRL documentary, Dawn of the Dolphins
Supercoach Wayne Bennett — who is the most successful NRL coach in history with seven premiership wins — returns to his hometown of Brisbane to oversee the recruitment and hopefully bring the Dolphins to victory.
Alongside Bennett is CEO Terry Reader, who deals with the challenges of creating a club from scratch, as well as Peter O’Sullivan, Australia’s “most revered” talent spotter.

“Giving the audience a behind-the-scenes look into our dressing room, meetings and training sessions will showcase the hard work that many passionate people put in behind the scenes to launch an NRL club,” Reader said in a statement.
“We can’t wait to get our season underway and for viewers to welcome us into their homes and hopefully create new fans and members of the Dolphins.”
We already know that channel 7 has received the rights to the TV Week Logie Awards; however, they also have a brand-new location.
On March 6, the network announced that the glittering ceremony would now be taking place in Sydney, as opposed to Melbourne and Brisbane in years gone by.
“The time was right to find a new home for the Logies, and bringing them back to Sydney after more than 30 years made perfect sense,” Seven West Media Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer James Warburton said in a statement.
“Australia’s TV networks and many of its major production companies are based in Sydney, and the city provides a backdrop for some of the country’s most popular TV shows.”

NSW Premier, Dominic Perrottet, said bringing the TV WEEK Logie Awards back to Sydney after three decades, will be a game-changer for NSW.
“Sydney is the best city in Australia and the home of our television and production industries, making it the obvious choice for the TV WEEK Logie Awards,” Mr Perrottet said.
“Television’s night of nights now has its rightful home in The Harbour City, showcasing the glitz and glamour of our vibrant nightlife. This will inject millions of dollars into the NSW economy, creating hundreds of jobs in production, hospitality and events.”
When will the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards take place?
The inaugural awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 30, celebrating the best in the biz around the country.
While no other details have been released, you can bet it will be a star-spangled affair with Aussie celebs walking the red carpet and performances by high-profile musicians.
The coveted Gold Logie will also be up for grabs with past winners, including Hamish Blake, Tom Gleeson, Grant Denyer, Samuel Johnson and Waleed Aly.

Australian Idol 2023 continued on March 5 with live performances, as judges selected one song for each of the Top 10 contestants to perform.
Given four song choices, the contestants had to pick a song, without knowing which judge had chosen what.
Rose farmer Josh Hannan, 21, moved the audience by singing Forget Me by Lewis Capaldi, chosen by Amy Shark.
After his performance, Amy commended the Victorian for being consistently amazing, echoing KyleSandilands’ comments that Josh was “radio ready”.

Amali Dimond was given the choice of Break Free by Ariana Grande ft Zedd, Freya Ridings’Castles, Don’t Be So Hard on Yourselfby Jess Glynne and Titanium by Dave Guette ft Sia.
Ultimately, she chose Titanium, given to her by “Pop Queen” (lol) Harry Connick Jr.

Anya Hynninen, 19, performed Back to Black, which Meghan Trainor chose, with the Made You Look singer saying, “she’s back”!
“It was the best song choice you could have done,” she said before adding: “You said I’m Anya. I’m 19… and you were emotional and powerful.”

Far North Queensland student Royston Sagigi-Baira, 23, sang Amy’s pick, I Won’t Let You Go by James Morrison — a song that “meant everything” to him, especially because he sang it at his mother’s funeral.
The judges praised him for showing his raw and vulnerable side, which resonated with the audience.
There was not a dry eye in the house when Royston’s brother Richard surprised him by flying down to the show.

Angelina Curtis, whose family were in the audience cheering her on, chose As It Was by Harry Styles. She looked ethereal in green, playing the piano for the first time while performing.
Meghan chose the tune, while Harry said it “wasn’t her best performance”, and Kyle said she looked uncomfortable stepping away from the piano.

The pressure of the competition proved too much for Western Australia’s Sash Seabourne, 25, as he performed Phil Collin’s classic In The Air Tonight.
Meghan and Amy labelled his performance pitchy and underwhelming.

Noora H was sent straight to the Top 8 of Australian Idol
Placing in the bottom four last week, Noora H, 28, proved her place in the competition with a dazzling performance of The Voice Within by Christina Aguilera.
All four judges were left in awe by her astonishing performance, with Meghan stating it was her favourite performance of the competition.
All judges agreed to award Noora the save, advancing her to next week’s Top 8 show.

Proving he is a rock star in the making, Brisbane’s Ben Sheehy, 24, performed Beggin’ by Måneskin.
While Ben nailed the vocals, both Harry and Kyle critiqued his performance skills, Kyle likening his off-beat dancing to an awkward artificial intelligence cyborg.

Harry Hayden, 18, was in the firing line again this week after singing Sam Sparro’s Black and Gold.
Harry said he seemed crippled with nerves, while Kyle served up some home truths, stating Harry’s skill level wasn’t good enough for the competition.

15-year-old Phoebe Stewart, who received last week’s judges save, returned to the stage with a mesmerising, stripped-back rendition of ABBA’s Dancing Queen.
Kyle Sandilands exclaimed Phoebe’s performance was so good that the judges might as well crown her the winner of Australian Idol now.

While the Dinner Parties bring the ultimate drama during Married at First Sight Australia, it’s nothing compared to the wrath of the experts during the Commitment Ceremony.
From Alessandra Rampolla calling out sh**ty behaviour to John Aiken saying what we’re all thinking and Mel Schilling’s “less than impressed” face, it’s no surprise that our couples feel the need to yeet it outta there faster than they can get their blue tick.
But who stayed (or was forced to stay) and who chose to leave?

Scroll through to see what the Married at First Sight Australia 2023 couples decided to do at the Commitment Ceremonies.
Commitment Ceremony 4 — March 5
Married at First Sight’s 21st episode sees the couples struggling to address tensions from Wednesday’s chaotic Dinner Party.
Evelyn’s exposure of a “pocket dial” from a boys’ night out caused intense damage to Sandy and Dan, as well as Tayla and Hugo’s relationships.
It’s now officially halfway through the experiment and stakes are at an all-time high — with life-altering decisions being made.
Jesse and Claire

Claire and Jesse are the first couple on the couch and after having a few crap weeks, we’re really glad they’ve finally got their sh*t together.
Over the last week, Claire has gone above and beyond to show her consideration for Jesse, who has been thrilled by the turnaround.
This week saw the pair share their first kiss, which left Jesse feeling “wanted” due to Claire’s efforts.
The question is, will it actually stick this time?!

Dan and Sandy
Dan and Sandy. Source: Nine.
Sandy and Dan are still dealing with the fallout from Dan’s fooked behaviour at the boys’ night. After hearing that he was comparing his current wife to his former girlfriends, Sandy felt upset and distanced.
Despite an intimate moment earlier in the week, Dan decided to hit it and quit it, pulling away from their relationship.
Incompatibilities between the pair were highlighted, namely that Sandy does not like the beach as much as Dan does… which is awkward because he’s in “beast mode”.
While Sandy tries to focus on their similarities, Dan focuses on the incompatibilities and pictures of his ex-girlfriends…
Thank goodness Sandy decided not to put herself through anymore misery. SEE YA!

Despite the events of the Dinner Party, Evelyn and Rupert are going strong. While it was painful AF for Dan, the couple felt as though the chaos brought them together. And dah! Those who create drama stay together!

Harrison and Bronte
Harrison and Bronte. Source: Nine.
Bronte threw around words like “compassion” and “empathy”, and “supportive”, which is weird because we totally feel as though Harrison exhibits none of these behaviours.
The couple then reveals that they are in the best place they’ve ever been in the experiment, with Harrison even introducing Bronte to her son.
Both then admitted that they are falling in love with one another… (¬_¬)
While they think they’re happy, others in the group are sceptical — including expert John. LAWL.

Melinda and Layton

Melinda and Layton admitted that they endure a rollercoaster during the week; however, we never get to see it because everyone else’s drama is too damn overpowering. But when they arrive on the couch, they’re “good”… so, there’s that.
New relo expert Harrison and real Expert John call out the couple, who accuse them of putting on a façade. He then pushes them to talk about the issues they’re facing.
Melinda admits she’s worried about how they can move forward when they’re both so stubborn, but John gives them some tips on better handling conflict when it arises.

Lyndall and Cam had a difficult week following a visit from their mothers.
While Cam has been trying to show more affection, he did tell Lyndall that his Mum thinks she is insecure. Awks.
Lyndall cries on that couch and tells the Experts she doesn’t think she’s asking for too much.
These guys seems to be headed for disaster — so let’s watch this space.

Tayla and Hugo

After the chaos of the boiz night and the Dinner Party, Tayla and Hugo’s relationship has been left in tatters.
While Tayla is certainly no saint, she felt “betrayed” by her husband, which he apologises for and says he wants to make things work.
Hugo then admits that he feels “insecure” around his wife and says he’s “terrified” of upsetting her, which is shocking for Tayla, but not us.
The nurse then decides it’s time to leg it out of the experiment and is bewildered to see that Hugo wants to stay.
“No way,” Tayla said, taking off her ring, before walking out. “Seriously, f*ck this I’m going home.”
Tayla’s decision: Leave

Commitment Ceremony 3 — February 26
The third Commitment Ceremony welcomes the two new couples to the couch. Alessandra hits the newlyweds with the hard questions as it’s D-Day for Jesse and Claire and Janelle and Adam.
Janelle and Adam
Janelle and Adam. Source: Nine.
Janelle and Adam join the couch; however, neither of them wants to speak after that s**tfight of a week, so Alessandra gets the ball rolling.
“Maybe, I’ll start… how did you feel when you found out that Adam kissed Claire that night?”
Visibly upset, Janelle said that Adam’s lack of “accountability” and “apology” was the most upsetting thing of the whole ordeal.
Alessandra then points out that Adam was more concerned about him making “peace with Jesse” than with his own wife, and like a toddler who couldn’t string two sentences together, he struggled to explain himself.
“Why did you kiss Claire?” John asked him before Adam said: “I was drunk” and bro, no one is buying your f**cked excuses.
When the room tries to hold Adam accountable for his lack of apology, he again shows no remorse.
Janelle and Adam decide to quit the experiment (thank God), and Adam immediately leaves the room. No one follows him.
“Sorry guys,” he says, and no, you ain’t.
Adam’s decision: Leave
Janelle’s decision: Leave
Alyssa and Duncan
Alyssa and Duncan. Source: Nine.
We hate when mum and dad fight, and this week, our collective parents, Alyssa and Duncan, are arguing over Duncan maintaining contact with Adam throughout the cheating scandal.
“I didn’t think I’d necessarily done anything too wrong,” Duncan says. “I was trying to get people to own stuff.”
Duncan calls the situation a “hiccup” but says it feels like he’s “in trouble for doing something as bad as Adam did.”
“It’s a differing opinion, and I think you can have a difference of opinion and work through them,” he says.
A heartbroken Alyssa is unsure whether their morals align anymore; however, they hold hands and decide to work through it.

Melinda has truly had the best arc of the season, going from villain to the ultimate boss b**ch — and we LOVE this for her.

Harrison and Bronte
Harrison. Source: Nine.
Since Bronte is unwell, Harrison is all alone on the couch.
While he could have just said, “yeh, she’s crook,” instead, he tells everyone she goes “through more than other women during that time of the month.”
Then telling everyone she suffers from endometriosis, he then reveals she’s “in a lot of pain and gets very emotional and crying”, but jeezus christ. SHUT UP, dude.
Mel and Alessandra want to throttle him.
John then calls out Harrison for not being “real with us” and pretending to be sad, and dah, John. He;s gotta fake it because he hasn’t got his blue tick yet…
Harrison’s decision: Stay
Bronte’s decision: Stay
Evelyn and Rupert
When Evelyn and Rupert join the couch, John tells him he doesn’t “look comfortable” — basically summing the entire interaction between the pair.
Rupert then bumbles through, while Evelyn admits she feels her hubby isn’t ready for this kind of human interaction commitment.
The new Groom then admits to “liking her” but needs to be told he’s A-OK by his Bride. She says she is attracted to him and even say says she sees their relationship “blossoming”. Kinda cute…for 16-year-olds.

Sandy and Dan

It’s a little frosty over in Sandy and Dan’s world.
Sandy admitted that Dan was “never home”, probably because he was already hooking up with the chick from his wedding, and John says they just look like “friends…if that”.
Dan then admits he’s not “sexually attracted” to her and says: “I think that sexual tension needs to build.” Awkies.
Sandy feels rejected (dah!) and reveals “he barely looks at me.” Dan is shocked that she thinks this and Alessandra tells him that “intimacy is, of course, not only sexual but emotional”.

Tayla and Hugo
Tayla and Hugo. Source: Nine.
During their first official outing on the couch, Hugo says that it has been an “adjustment” and said he hoped he would have the “adorable meet-cute” during the experiment; however, “things slowed down”.
Tayla then admitted she couldn’t handle how many compliments she received from her Groom and perdona?
“Does not compute for me,” Mel said diplomatically. Us either.
Tayla then revealed she had snapped at Hugo for calling her “adorable and cute” because she’s “anything but” and ladies, this is why we can’t have nice things.
“If you’re going to compliment me, say something that sounds genuine and reflects my personality,” she said. Ohhhh, we see the problem — he just couldn’t find any other adjectives.
Tayla said she would prefer to be called “smart”, “quick”, and “driven,” forgetting that he is married to her and not writing her LinkedIn profile before Tayla says Hugo is not her “usual type”.
Mel, who was sick of Tayla’s bulls**t already, said that it was “”This is “not [a] made-to-order Grooms and Brides service.”
“That’s your old pattern, and it didn’t work out for you.” Ooft.

Lyndall and Cameron
Cameron and Lyndall. Source: Nine
Alessandra begins by saying Lyndall’s body language is “quite telling”, which is accurate since she literally looks like she would rather be anywhere else.
“It’s been one rollercoaster for us,” Cameron admits.
The couple revealed that they had Facetimed Lyndall’s mum, who had suggested Cameron give her a hug after Lyndall was feeling overwhelmed. Feeling “uncomfortable”, Cameron didn’t oblige and left. Afterwards, the pair had a “huge blow up”.
Back on the couch, Alessandra asked if Lyndall thought her husband was overreacting who said she’d “never want to make anyone do anything they were uncomfortable with”.
“Hugging me shouldn’t feel unnatural,” she said heatedly. “Not a month into this.”
Cameron then admitted it was because he felt “pressured” by Lyndall’s mum.
“Am I that awful and repulsive that you don’t want to hug me when I’m upset?” she asked him.
Interjecting, John called the excuse a”cop-out” before Alessandra gave him some hard truths.
“I’m not feeling any remorse for her feeling so awful,” she said.
Deciding they would try to make it work after #hug-gate, Cameron and Lyndall seemed back on track.

Jesse and Claire
Jesse and Claire. Source: Nine.
God, we’re really starting to love Jesse, whose only look now is that of a wounded puppy.
“Where do we begin,” John says and yes, where, John?! Where, indeed.
Directing his questioning to Claire, John reiterates that “it all came out because you decided to come clean.”
Claire admits she wanted to tell Jesse because he was having “romantic feelings” for her and found herself keeping him “at arm’s length” because she was carrying “guilt and shame”.
“I knew I’d done the wrong thing,” she said.
John said that Jesse looked “weighed down”, and Jesse admitted the week had been “heavy”.
“I’m not sure how to explain it,” Jesse said. “There was a lot of vindication, a lot of like, I knew it, I knew I was on to something.”
While he felt justified, he then said he was still “questioning everything” and had a lot of “doubt” and “defeatism”.
John then asked Claire why she didn’t come clean earlier, who admitted that she was “afraid”.
The other Brides — specifically Alyssa, Melinda and Janelle’s facial expressions — decided to take aim at Claire, with Melinda saying she lied “five times”.
“It’s the betrayal…the gaslighting. Adam sitting on the couch at the first commitment ceremony. Jesse saying, ‘I feel this has happened,’ and Adam making him look like a crazy person,” Alyssa said.
Sandy then defended Claire, saying she was “owning” her mistake, and asked people to give her some credit.
When the attention turned back to Jesse, he said that while Claire was taking accountability, he also didn’t want to pile on her.
Breaking down, Jesse questioned whether he was “worthy” of being loved.
“You don’t deserve what I did,” Claire whispers to him. “I’m so sorry.”
Claire then called her husband “selfless” because he was “sitting here, feeling all his feels, and he’s worried about me feeling hurt.”
Upon decision time, Jesse decides that his steam has run out and wants to leave “to do the right thing for himself”; however, Claire wants to gain back his trust and hold him captive for another week.
John calls Jesse “remarkable” and praises him, reminding him he is worthy of love and insists he should give it another shot.

Commitment Ceremony 2 — February 19
The Commitment Ceremony started with a speech from Aiken saying that no one would get away without taking “accountability” for their actions, and we just knew that Harrison was about to be torn to shreds!

After a “re-introduction” to the couple and a rocky start to the experiment, Claire and Jesse have gone from strength to strength during Intimacy Week.

After last week, it’s obvious that this couple could actually make it, resulting in the biggest turnaround of the experiment.

Look, we still have zero hope for this couple, and despite a tension-filled dinner party – and much to the group’s surprise – they remain strong.
Harrison then blamed Bronte for EVERYTHING, even saying that her apology “fixed us”.
Luckily, John was not thrilled and grilled him about the phone number he had taken during the boys night out.
“I just wanted to humour her,” he said of the girl who asked for his number. Bronte, however, said she was “secure” in herself and was “choosing to trust him”. Why tho?!
Claire — the goddamn voice of reason — then piped up, saying she didn’t “like it one bit, and it actually makes me sick to my stomach”. OUCH, but also…fair.
Harrison then said that he “supposed it was a breach of trust” (dah, bro!) and admitted he wouldn’t have told Bronte about the number.

While their communication styles are different, and they’ve had an “interesting week”, Melinda and Layton are still keen to remain in the experiment.
During Intimacy Week, a.k.a Melissa’s Christmas, tension boiled over for the pair, with Josh revealing what his wife had been saying behind closed doors. Melissa has been criticising him for lacking physical intimacy and not being “manly” enough.
The experts were shocked at her behaviour and want to know why physical intimacy is so important to her. The MAFS Bride then realised that she seeks out “big men” because that’s what she’s grown up with, and it makes her feel safe.
Josh then walked off, and the other Grooms consoled him — which would have been sweet if it wasn’t Harrison leading the charge…
He then returns, and Melissa says she had “no idea this was happening to him” and was “so apologetic”.
Melissa’s decision: Stay
Josh’s decision: Leave
Expert’s decision: Even though it is usual for a couple to stick it out after one person writes stay, the experts — who saw that Josh was a “broken” man — made an unprecedented decision and let him leave the experiment.

Praise be! Our Disney couple have had sex!
Duncan calls the week a great balance between “dominant and delicate”, and Alyssa admitted it “ended with a “bang”!
They are so goddamn sweet and we can hardly contain our excitement for them.

After having a lil’ tiff at the Dinner Party, Lyndall (who clearly loves the drama) said she hit a brick wall with Cameron, who doesn’t, in fact, love the drama.
While they were on opposing sides getting involved in the other couple’s bulls**t, they lived to see another week.

Shannon and Caitlin

After a horrendous week, Caitlin reveals all the horrible things Shannon has been saying to the group.
“The most hurtful thing he said was ‘I’m not attracted to you. There’s no attraction to you here,'” Caitlin revealed. “He then said, ‘I’m a good-looking girl’, but not to him.
“The most hurtful thing for me was after that. He said, ‘If there was someone who walked down the aisle that ‘wowed’ him, he would have cut it off with his ex then and there, and because I didn’t ‘wow him’, what happened with his ex, happened.”
John was disgusted by Shannon’s behaviour and held him accountable for his actions, and truly, he is the real MVP of the season!!
“This here isn’t what I wanted,” Caitlin said. “If I could do it all over again with someone else, I would. because I deserve that chance, but this man does not deserve me. So, I will be leaving.”
“You are worthy, and you are a great catch, and you will make someone very happy,” John said before Shannon took his ring off.
Caitlin’s decision: Leave (YES, GIRL!)
Shannon’s decision: Leave (we’re assuming since he sulked and took off his wedding band)
Commitment Ceremony 1 — February 12
Jesse and Claire
Jesse and Claire. Source: Nine.
While Jesse suspected something is going on between his Bride Claire and Groom Adam, during the first Commitment Ceremony, both seemed to sway his opinion that he was imagining things.
However, Lyndall — who was despo to intervene — then revealed that Adam had told her during the cast night out, that he needed to leave and go home early; otherwise, he would go home with Claire. *Side eye emoji*.
Jesse then decides that the experiment has brought out the worst in him and decides to leave, however, Claire sees a glimmer of hope….
Jesse’s decision: Leave
Claire’s decision: Stay
Outcome: They live to fight another week…
Adam and Janelle

After being outed by Lyndall, Adam apologises to Janelle, the rest of the cast, the experts, the crew, his family, his dog and his barista for his behaviour. While she feels “insecure”, his Bride decides to stand by her man.
Even though the red flags engulf the room, the couple is here for another week.

They’re certainly on different pages about their relationship, but Melissa and Josh are still nice to each other, which is more than we could say for some of the other couples…

Harrison and Bronte

Bronte and Harrison have barely spent any time together, with Harrison calling the experiment a “holiday”.
Infuriating Bronte, she outs him to the experts for seeing a girl right before he married her, which Harrison doesn’t see a problem with.
Horrified by Harrison, John jumps in to share some home truths — it’s just not cricket, bro! Finally, Harrison apologises to Bronte before writing leave…probably to keep dating his outside GF.
Bronte’s decision: Stay (WTAF)
Harrison’s decision: Leave (the best decision he’s ever made)
Outcome: The drama continues…

Shannon and Caitlin are in crisis because Shannon is still in love with his ex. Cool.
Even though he clearly is about to break Caitlin’s heart, he is optimistic about their future. John tells him that his behaviour is “unacceptable” before also taking a swipe at fellow Groom Harrison one last time.
Shannon apologises, however, after years and years of this mess, we know where it’s headed…. DOOMSVILLE.

Sex/Life may just have been the steamiest series to drop on Netflix in 2021, and now, almost two years later, second season is finally here.
Based on a memoir by BB Easton, the series follows Billie (Sarah Shahi), a mother-of-two whose daring sexual past collides with her suburban life, including her marriage to husband Cooper (Mike Vogel), when she begins to fantasise about her former bad boy ex, Brad (Aussie Adam Demos).
Of course between hot sex scenes, that eggplant shower scene and the insane sexual chemistry between real-life couple Demos and Shahi — fans were simply begging for the next instalment.
Here’s everything we know so far about Sex/Life Season Two.

When will Sex/Life Season Two be released?
In 2021, Netflix confirmed that we would be getting a brand-new season, with showrunner Stacy Rukeyser telling TVLine: “Sex/Life is a dream come true. To create a show about empowered female sexuality that has entranced so many millions of viewers is not only immensely fun but also incredibly gratifying.
“When I think about all the women who have reached out from all over the world to say that the show speaks to them in a deeply personal way, I am so inspired. I’m thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to continue telling this story for Billie and for all of us.”
Thankfully, we don’t have too long to wait, as the season premieres on March 2, 2023.
