Jameson, who’s Michelin-starred, boasts over 550,000 Instagram followers and has cooked for some of the most famous celebrities in the world, including Samuel L. Jackson, Jeff Bezos, Tom Hanks and members of the Kardashian family, told Chattr in an exclusive interview that he thought Meghan dragged down the otherwise impressive Australian edition of MasterChef.
“Frankly, I found [her appearance] utterly disgraceful and embarrassing. MasterChef Australia is one of the franchise’s strongest editions worldwide, and featuring her felt like an insult to both the contestants and the Australian public. It seemed clear that her appearance was solely for PR purposes,” he said.
The accomplished chef didn’t hold back, arguing Meghan had no business judging a cooking competition.
“If I were a contestant, I would have walked out; if I were a judge, I would question the decision. Cooking shows are meant to inspire people and motivate the next generation, so I can’t understand why they would feature someone with the personality of a potato and about as much food knowledge as a rock,” he said.
“She shouldn’t be anywhere near a stove, let alone judging a cooking competition. Her involvement is a complete insult to chefs; the focus seemed to be more on her than on the food and the contestants’ talent. She added nothing to the show.”
Jameson made it clear he has a lot of respect for both Australians and MasterChef Australia, suggesting Meghan may have agreed to appear on our local version because she’s already faced heavy criticism in the UK and US.
“She seems to believe she can fool the Australian public, but both American and British audiences can see through her; she’s probably never even watched the show,” he speculated.
“She appeared like a rabbit caught in headlights [in the episode], with no idea what she was doing. I suspect she views the Australian public as mugs to sway and woo and hopes to sell a few jars of jam here and there. It shows a complete lack of respect for Australians.”

Jameson has a colourful history with Meghan Markle and TV shows. Back in March 2025, he revealed that he received death threats after criticising her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. At the time, the chef told GB News that he thought the first eight episodes were “terrible”.
“Everything — the music is quite slow, it’s quite lethargic, it’s quite painful to watch,” he said. “I think she should go back to acting. She’s quite a good actress. In real life or on screen. People should stick to what they do best.”
Shortly after the interview was broadcast, Jameson told the New York Post that he’d received “hundreds and hundreds” of hateful messages.
“I started getting death threats and all sorts of nasty messages,” he told the publication. “It wouldn’t matter if it was Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck or Donald Duck. I just didn’t like the program.”

The top three finalists were given a service challenge in last night’s episode, requiring them to deliver fine dining dishes to both the judges and a restaurant’s worth of other lucky diners. Unluckily for Aaron, his well-received dessert dish could not make up for his slightly subpar main in the judges’ eyes, and he was sent packing just shy of the finish line.

JC told Aaron to ‘keep in contact’ with him after his elimination
Though unfortunate, Aaron’s elimination came with a win, and it was when MasterChef judge Jean-Christophe Novelli told the eliminee upon his exit to “keep in contact” with him, adding that he made the MasterChef kitchen a special place and that his journey throughout the competition reminded him of his own beginnings as a chef.
The heartfelt moment between Jean and Aaron was celebrated by viewers on social media, who appreciated the judge’s openness to helping Aaron out in the future and described it as a “silver lining” and “so deserved” on Aaron’s part. The brief interaction naturally got us wondering, are Aaron and Jean planning some sort of collaboration, and what did Aaron think of getting a judges’ stamp of approval in this way?

MasterChef’s Aaron says a collaboration with JC might be ‘on the cards’
Well, Aaron answered all our questions in an exclusive post-elimination interview with Chattr, saying Jean’s comment was a show of support and guidance for the future of his cooking career. “I think [Jean] meant I could reach out to him and ask him for help,” Aaron told us.
“He was very invested in me wanting to be a chef, and was someone who encouraged me and could see that for me,” he added. Aaron went on to describe his mentor-student relationship with Jean throughout the competition. “I think moving forward, that’s the kind of mentorship that he’s providing.”
Aaron did not rule out the possibility of working with Jean in some capacity once this season of MasterChef wraps up. “It could be on the cards actually,” Aaron told Chattr of a potential collaboration with Jean, adding that he could maybe “even do a stage in one of his restaurants”.
Though that opportunity is not totally off the table, Aaron said Jean’s comment was likely just a broad offer for guidance whenever he might need it. “I think more immediately, for me, it’s just about reaching out to see if there’s potential areas where I’ve been asking for guidance or mentorship,” Aaron told us.

We’ll have to wait and see whether that team-up ever becomes a reality (it certainly has a nice ring to it!), but in the meantime it’s all systems go for the highly-anticipated MasterChef grand finale. Vinnie and Petro will complete a Mystery Box challenge and a Final Challenge guest judged by renowned chef Cherish Finden.
Whoever wins those challenges will be crowned the victor of MasterChef’s 2026. The grand finale airs on Channel 10 on Sunday, August 9.

MasterChef Australia has embraced giving contestants more creative freedom in 2026, with fewer highly structured challenges throughout the season. But that shift also meant there were fewer service challenges for contestants to sharpen their skills before the semi-final.
Last year’s season featured four service challenges before the semi-final, compared to just two this year. As a result, many viewers believe the contestants were set up to fail when the 2026 semi-final revolved around — you guessed it — a high-pressure service challenge.
All three contestants appeared overly stressed during the cook, with Vinnie’s tart shells shrinking, Petro’s milk splitting, and Aaron undercooking his pork.
“You can tell they’ve barely done service challenges and didn’t realise how time-consuming their dishes are for a service challenge,” one person wrote on Reddit. Another viewer agreed, writing, “The competition has failed these boys. They are all in the deep end with no experience with service whatsoever.”
However, Aaron told Chattr in an exclusive post-elimination interview that he doesn’t agree with the fans’ narratives, saying he believes the two service challenges they did prior to the semi-final put them in a good position.
“I think all in all, we’ve had a couple of service challenges already, plus we’ve been in the pressure of the MasterChef kitchen, regardless. I think we’ve all been learning so much throughout the competition that we’ve been gearing up for [a high-pressure service challenge].”

Aaron added that he, Petro and Vinnie had a good idea that they’d be headed into a service challenge in the semi final, based on previous season.
“More often than not, you can kind of predict it, and at the same time, the service challenge is one of those things we can almost mentally prepare for.
“I think everything that we went through, given the earlier service challenges, that set us up well.”
However, Aaron did acknowledge that service challenges are vastly different from regular challenges in the MasterChef kitchen.
“Generally, the regular challenge you just focus on one dish, and you can pour your heart and soul into one plate of food that you want to make perfect. Whereas in a service challenge, you’ve got I think there’s fifty dishes that you have to pump out, the dishes have to look the same, the balance, complexity, the simplicity.
“You have to make sure the flavours are on point, that everything looks the same, that there’s consistency. So it’s really a lot more of that professional environment, and gives you a taste for what a professional kitchen really like.”

Aaron is proud of the way he handled the MasterChef Semi Final
Although Aaron’s undercooked pork meant that he was eliminated from MasterChef Australia 2026 at the finale hurdle, he’s happy with the way he handled the finale.
“I think what I was so proud about was that I I literally left it all on the floor. I had nothing to take. I gave it everything that I had, and I served the food that I wanted to serve,” he explained in the interview with Chattr.
Aaron added that while he would have loved to reach the MasterChef Australia 2026, he doesn’t have any regrets about his journey.
“If I left out anything [from my final cook], or didn’t do a certain thing, or didn’t put as much into it, I would have been quite regretful about how it turned out. But because of the way it was, and me doing everything in my power to try and get to that finale, but not being able to, I think, there’s nothing else that I could have done in that position.”
Now that Aaron’s been eliminated, the grand final will come down to a battle between Vinnie and Petro. Who will triumph? We’ll have to wait until the finale showdown to find out.

Eddy and Alex‘s segment at the Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW)reunion took a dark turn when Alex confronted his ex over the breakup, making it clear that he thought she didn’t put in enough effort.
The awkward encounter went on for a while, with Alex at one point taking a jab at Eddy saying he can appreciate Eddy’s honesty “now”, seemingly insinuating that she wasn’t honest during their relationship.
The whole segment was rather uncomfortable for viewers, so we can only imagine how Eddy felt in the hot seat. In a post-reunion interview with WHO she said that she was surprised by the way Alex handled the couch session.
“I was really taken aback when he just started attacking me in front of everyone and on TV,” she said.
“I went in knowing that I was going to be respectful and kind, and I assumed that, at least while the cameras were rolling, Alex was going to show me the same kindness and respect.
“I had no way to prepare for that either, and I just think once I got into the situation, I was just in shock,” she said.
Eddy said that viewers didn’t get to see everything, revealing that there were points in Alex’s interrogation of her where both producers and the host Natalie Gruzlewski had to step in.
“The producers and the host Nat, they stood up for me and like intervened during points, and – it was just, yeah, thank goodness for them doing that, because I felt at times I couldn’t stand up for myself, and they were like, ‘Hey, you need to back off a bit, Alex’.”
Alex weighs in on how he approached Eddy at the FWAW Reunion
Farmer Alex has weighed in on Eddy’s reaction to the way he handled the FWAW Reunion, insisting his approach was justified.
“I don’t know if she was expecting me to talk the way I did, and that might have thrown her a little bit,” he told the publication. “I went in with some questions.
“She’s a smart girl. I had to believe that she would have expected me to have something to say because she’s already commented on how she thinks I’m an intense person. So, she would have assumed that I would have had things to say.”
However, Alex acknowledged that their different communication styles may have contributed to the uncomfortable exchange.
“She always said to me that I was more comfortable talking about my emotional states than she was, and so in some ways maybe it wasn’t fair for me to do what I did to her like that.
“I did what I did. I made the call I did at the time, and I hope it comes across as me being respectful. I didn’t mean to hurt her. I wasn’t out to hurt her. I just wanted to know why she did what she did.”

Love & relationship coach Dr Lurve has reportedly been selected as the new expert for Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2027, alongside veteran experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla.
Daily Mail has reported that Dr Lurve, whose real name is Brigitte Zonta filling the shoes left by the late Mel Schilling on the panel for the 14th season.
The publication reported that Dr Lurve was travelling through Europe when she received the call and cut her trip short to return for filming.
One source told Daily Mail that Dr Lurve wouldn’t be afraid to confront the contestants over their bad behaviour, and calls them out when needed, while also taking the time to understand their actions.
“She can explain why somebody keeps repeating the same destructive pattern without making it sound like a lecture,” the insider said.
“She is also quick, funny and very comfortable talking about subjects other people might avoid. For a show like MAFS, that combination is enormously valuable.”
Another said that the new expert will be navigating her own path, rather than trying to replicate what Mel brought to the show.
“No one can replace Mel, and that is not what they are asking Dr Lurve to do,” the source said.
“She has her own voice, her own energy and her own way of connecting with people.
“She can be warm and entertaining, but she can also cut through the excuses when somebody is not being honest.”

Why former contestant Lucinda Light was ruled out for the MAFS relationship expert role
Rumours have been circulating for months that former MAFS contestant Lucinda Light could be in the running. However, an insider told Daily Mail the producers ruled out the idea of any past participants joining the panel.
“The audience wants someone they can trust,” a source said. “They want experts who aren’t afraid to call out bad behaviour, challenge the participants and actually help the couples.”
“They’ve completely ruled out having a former participant like Lucinda Light join the panel,” the source revealed.
“They absolutely love Lucinda, but they don’t believe having a former bride as an expert fits the direction they’re taking.
“They’re looking for someone with professional authority who complements John and Alessandra — not someone who becomes part of the story.”
This year’s Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) was a disaster as far as happy endings go, with only one of the five couples still together, six months on from filming the show. So, is it time to take a page out of The Golden Bachelor’s book and cast a season with older Farmers looking for lasting love? Farmer Dylan seems to think so!
During an interview with Chattr, Farmer Dylan floated the idea of a Golden FWAW, and said he’d happily join the cast in a few decades.
“I’ll tell you what i will do, if I do Farmer Wants a Wife again,” he began. “I’ll wait about 20 odd years till I’m an older bloke, so then I can get rid of all that, ‘he’s too young’ stuff. I will have my own property with tonnes of cattle because I don’t really like sheep, and I’ll be working a lot more with horses, and hopefully I’ve got a decent collection of saddle bronc buckles,” he laughed.
“I’d do it properly, the Golden Farmer Wants a Wife, bloody oath,” he added.
While the current season of FWAW featured young leads like Zac and Dylan, who were both just 24 when filming took place, 41-year-old Farmer Jarrad was one of the oldest Farmers cast in recent years. However, it doesn’t seem his extra life experience translated into a lasting romance, with rumours swirling that he and Brodie split shortly after filming wrapped.
“Nearly all of the Farmers have split up with their final picks since filming wrapped; the only couple that are still together to this day are Maya and Farmer Zac,” an insider told Chattr before the reunion, meaning that Jarrad and Brodie’s relationship is done.
Is FWAW’s Farmer Dylan single now?
Farmer Dylan told Chattr in an exclusive interview that he broke up with Ally a few weeks after they filmed the FWAW reunion. He admitted that he wanted to continue chasing his dream of being a saddle bronc rider, and felt like he was dragging Ally along.
“I felt like I was stringing her along in a dream that wasn’t hers,” he said. “I essentially just called it. She wanted to try and make it work, but I felt cruel [staying in the relationship] because I wasn’t willing to compromise.”
“I just felt like Ally is a really cool chick, and I think she’s got her future planned out, and she knows what she wants, and I think she deserves the bloke that’s gonna give that to her, not some fella that’s not really willing to compromise on his dream for someone else. I don’t think someone should have to do that for me.”
Dylan told Chattr that he’s still single since splitting with Ally, and he isn’t sure if he’s ready to go back on the dating market just yet.
“Kind of just navigating it all as it comes really,” he said. “I don’t really know. I did enough dating in eight weeks to last me a while.”

However, the couple didn’t continue to thrive once they left the show, as they confirmed at the reunion that they broke up shortly after they finished filming FWAW.
“Pretty much as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, I felt as though she recoiled,” Alex told host Nat.
“We’re not together, no, she broke up with me,” Alex confirmed, revealing that Eddy told him that their values didn’t align; specifically, their views on religion.
Verdict: Not together.

At the finale, Dylan admitted his true feelings for Ally. “I have to follow how I feel, and I love you,” he said, as Ally hilariously asked, “Me?” Dylan quickly added, “I love you a lot,” as the two embraced for a kiss. “You’re not allowed to run now, though,” he joked.
While Ally and Dylan were still together at the reunion, Farmer Dylan told Chattr in an exclusive interview that he broke up with her just a few weeks after filming.

Farmer Jarrad’s choice had a huge twist when one of his final two Ladies, Yvonne, decided to self eliminate right at the end. Jarrad stressed that he was going to choose Brodie anyway, but… was he really?
Jarrad and Brodie are the only couple who haven’t come forward in a post-show interview and confirmed whether they are still together post-reunion.
However, an insider told us that Brodie and Jarrad continued dating briefly after the finale, but their relationship fizzled out not long after.
Verdict: Highly likely that they’re not together.
Farmer Jason and Poppy

Farmer Jason shocked fans when he chose Poppy, who doesn’t want kids, after making it clear all season long that he did want to continue procreating.
Unfortunately for Jason, his decision didn’t pay off. He told Chattr in an exclusive interview that Poppy broke up with him a week after the reunion was filmed.
“We flew back to Brisbane [after the reunion], and spent the night in Brisbane at a friend’s place, and then went back to where I lived and she went back to where she lived, and then, she went sort of quiet that week, then we split up. She called it off the following Saturday,” he explained.
“She just said she wasn’t feeling it. She just said, ‘It’s basically just a quick phone call, just letting you know you didn’t do anything wrong, you’re a good person. I’m just not feeling it,’” he added.
However, Poppy disputed the timeline.
“[The split] wasn’t a week after the reunion. It wasn’t a week after the reunion at all. I don’t know the exact date and time that we broke up, but it certainly wasn’t a week after,” she told Chattr.
“Unfortunately, we aren’t together now, although we did see each other for a good three months or so following [the final episode]. We wanted to try things after filming ended. It’s just a different environment,” she said.
Verdict: Not together.

Farmer Zac and Maya appear to be the only love story that has emerged from FWAW 2026. Maya’s reaction was adorable when Farmer Zac told her that he could “wholeheartedly see a future” together at the final choice.
And, the couple have gone from strength to strength since filming wrapped last year. In a post-reunion interview with New Idea, the couple confirmed that they’re still together in a long-distance relationship, with Maya in Melbourne and Zac on the farm in Adelaide.
“Long-distance is definitely not easy,” Maya told the publication.
“Though we have patted ourselves on the back a little bit. So far, it’s been pretty smooth-sailing because we do make time to go and see each other.”
Zac added that he and Maya have been making a rough plan to move in together on his farm.
“It’s something that we’ve talked about a little bit,” he said.
“I think we’re just now starting to get a bit more serious about talking about it, but it’s always been on the table. We just didn’t want to rush into anything, especially after going through this experience. And we wanted to see how we were doing long-distance, and then make a decision from there.”

Farmer Todd was an intruder on FWAW 2024, and picked Daisy despite his friends warning that she was too similar to his exes. The pair’s relationship seemed to thrive post-show, however, they haven’t posted any content together on Instagram in recent months, and fans have been questioning in the comments section whether the couple are still together.

Corey and Keeley confirmed to Chattr in May 2026 that they’re still going strong. “We’re still very much together, stronger than ever, and we’ve been going great,” Corey said.
Keeley has since adapted to farm life. “I think it’s just over the year-and-a-half mark since we actually ended filming. So I moved up to the farm actually about a year ago…it’s been, yeah, really good,” Keeley said.
The couple have big plans for their future together. “Hopefully in five years, we’ll be married and have a kid or two running around,” Corey said.

Sarah confirmed to Chattr that the couple are better than ever. “Jack and I are incredibly happy and really settled into life together. We work every day together at the farm and we’re looking forward to our future together.”
They have since moved in together on Jack’s farm. “We moved in together about three months after we finished filming and it’s been great building a home together,” she continued.
Passionate about horses and wildlife rescue, Dylan was seeking an outgoing partner who could support his rodeo dreams while building a future with him.
Dylan’s strongest early spark was with Ally, whose playful chocolate taste test earned her Dylan’s first 24-hour date. Their chemistry grew as she met his grandparents, opened up about marriage and children, and nabbed Dylan’s first kiss of the season.

What happened between Ally and Dylan at the Farmer Wants a Wife Reunion?
As one of the most promising FWAW couples, fans were eager to get an update on Farmer Dylan and Ally’s relationship. The Reunion confirmed that after filming wrapped, Dylan and Ally spent time together on the farm and on road trips, but began seeing less of each other as the weeks rolled on — making it a long-distance relationship that lost its momentum.
Despite the obstacles, Farmer Dylan confirmed that he and Ally are still together, even as they work on aligning their schedules and managing the long distance. “What I feel for Ally is wild, it goes beyond love,” Dylan said in the Reunion. We love to see it!
Farmer Dylan and Ally broke up after the FWAW Reunion
Farmer Dylan and Ally’s loved-up relationship was short-lived, with the Farmer confirming in an exclusive interview with Chattr that he broke up with her a few weeks after the reunion was filmed.
“We went back to [my farm] in Adelaide and just yeah went about normal life for a bit, and then it kind of all got a bit much, I felt like I was stringing her along a dream that wasn’t hers,” he told Chattr.
Dylan said he began doubting whether his and Ally’s futures could work together, without her giving up on the things she’s dreamed of, so he broke off the relationship.
“I didn’t handle it too well,” he admitted. “I suppose, I didn’t really communicate the best I should have. But yeah, I essentially just called it. She wanted to try and make it work, but I felt cruel [staying in the relationship] because I wasn’t willing to compromise.”
“I just felt like Ally is a really cool chick, and I think she’s got her future planned out, and she knows what she wants, and I think she deserves the bloke that’s gonna give that to her, not some fella that’s not really willing to compromise on his dream for someone else. I don’t think someone should have to do that for me.”
Insider revealed Dylan and Ally’s split to Chattr before the Reunion
A week before the Reunion aired, an insider close to the couple spilled that Dylan and Ally split up shortly after they left the show.
“Dylan dumped Ally,” the source said. “It happened right after they finished filming. Dylan said that he ‘called it’ but he didn’t go into any further detail about why he broke up with her.”
The source went on to spill even more tea, saying that Dylan isn’t the only Farmer who’s split with his final choice.
“Nearly all of the Farmers have split up with their final picks since filming wrapped, the only couple that are still together to this day are Maya and Farmer Zac,” they told Chattr.
There were also hints from both of them during interviews while the season was airing that suggested the relationship had already ended.
In an interview with Chattr, Ally spoke about her relationship with Dylan in both the past and present tense. “I really believed that Dylan was someone who would truly matter in my life,” she said. “I just adored Dylan. I feel like no matter what happens, we will make it work.”
In the chat, Ally wanted to reinforce how much she respected Dylan as a person while hinting at some troubled waters ahead… which felt a little like she was trying to appeal to Dylan himself. “I feel like I speak often in my interviews about how good a person Dylan is,” Ally told Chattr. “No matter the result of what happens, what you guys are about to see, just know that I still uphold that high respect for Dylan and do genuinely still believe that he is a gorgeous human being, and anyone who is with him is very lucky.”

Meanwhile, Dylan hadn’t been quite so nice about Ally in all his interviews. Dylan told Chattr he thought Ally acted “immature” when she left his farm.
“The other girls, as much as it probably did hurt them when I would go and kiss someone, they understood what was going on… she put herself first, which is good, but I think it could have all been solved over a talk,” he said.
Dylan was quick to talk up his runner-up, Scarlett, in another interview with Chattr. “A lot has been cut that I think really fleshed out Scarlett. I don’t know if they’re trying to make her look a certain way or something, but there’s a lot to Scarlett that the viewers haven’t seen,” Dylan told Chattr.
“She’s one of the most gorgeous people, like inside and out, she’s willing to do anything for anyone, and she’s a lot smarter than I think the way she’s coming across.”

Chattr asked Ally if she had noticed Dylan hadn’t been overly positive about her in interviews, and Ally agreed. “Yes, I have noticed that,” she said, adding “It’s impossible for me to umm… I always… I think you’ll just have to wait and see.”
Ally went on to suggest that something went wrong between herself and Dylan — potentially, after leaving the show as a couple. “I think it’s always important to speak positively of someone, no matter what happens,” she said.
What happened when Farmer Dylan made his final choice?
After introducing Dylan to her family, Ally and Dylan had a steamy hot tub session where the chocolate shop worker admitted her ‘strong’ feelings for the farmer. “I’m going to stick by you. If I’m dead honest, I am falling in love with you,” she said, as she wiped a tear from her cheek.
Ally wasn’t impressed that Dylan didn’t say anything back other than “thank you” (lol awks), but he made his feelings known away from Ally’s earshot. “She’s finally given me what I’ve been chasing,” Dylan said in a confessional.
But first, Dylan had to tell his other finalist, Scarlett, that their lifestyles clashed and his heart belonged to another. “I’m really sorry, Scarlett, but it’s not us,” Dylan told the polo player. “I have to lead with my heart.” Scarlett took the news beyond gracefully, telling him she understood his decision, even encouraging Dylan to “Keep your head up, you’ve got this.” What an absolute gem.
Dylan then admitted his true feelings for Ally. “I have to follow how I feel and I love you,” he said, as Ally hilariously asked “Me?” Dylan quickly added “I love you a lot,” as the two embraced for a kiss. “You’re not allowed to run now, though,” he joked.
It was a hilariously awkward fairytale ending. Ally admitted that Dylan’s made her think she was ‘doomed’ from his (rather grim) speech, but he announced they’d ‘fallen in love’ with each other in a final confessional together. Cute.. until it wasn’t.

Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW)‘s Ally and Dylan looked completely smitten at the finale and the Reunion, but it turns out their happy ending didn’t last. In an exclusive interview with Chattr, Farmer Dylan revealed the couple split soon after the Reunion was filmed and lifted the lid on what really happened.
Dylan explained that after he and Ally left the Reunion, he couldn’t shake the guilt that she was sacrificing everything in her life to build a future with him.
“We went back to [my farm] in Adelaide and just yeah went about normal life for a bit, and then it kind of all got a bit much, I felt like I was stringing her along a dream that wasn’t hers,” he said.
Dylan said that he initially ignored the niggling doubt, but after about two weeks he broke up with Ally and told her that she deserved someone who was more compatible with her lifestyle.

I don’t know how long it’s going to take.”
Dylan added that Ally didn’t want to break up, and begged him to give the relationship another try.
“It wasn’t what she wanted. But, I didn’t want to string her along for the outcome to be the same,” he said.
“She was willing to [sacrifice things] to make it work, but, I don’t know the right words, but you know when you know what someone wants, and you can tell that they’re putting it aside for you?”

Farmer Dylan was ‘gutted’ by his breakup with Ally
Farmer Dylan said that although the split was his call, there was a point where he was in love with Ally, and said it hurt him to hurt her.
“I felt gutted, but it was self-inflicted,” he said. “It’s one of those things like you feel sad and you’re like why do I do this? But then you gotta remind yourself there’s a reason for it.”
Now, with about five months having passed since their breakup, Farmer Dylan stands by his decision.
“I don’t regret it. I think it was the right thing to do, although it hurt her. I think it was only fair to her, even though she might not have seen it that way,” he said.
Why did Farmer Dylan pick Ally knowing their passions didn’t align?
Farmer Dylan told Chattr that, in hindsight, he would have done a lot differently. He admitted he got swept up in the Farmer Wants a Wife experience which stopped him from taking a hard look at whether he and Ally could realistically build a future together before choosing her.
“I didn’t really think about it, if I’m dead honest. As the whole experience goes on, you’re kind of like, this will all makes sense, and it’s, I suppose, one long honeymoon period, and then it kind of all fizzled. Well, not fizzled, but I’d probably say just like the reality of life kicked in,” he explained.
“I just think we were in two different places, and it was only once we got to the reality of life that it kind of all sunk in.”
Farmer Dylan revealed that he and Ally cut off contact completely after their split, but an unexpected group chat with his runner-up eventually brought them back together to clear the air.
“We didn’t talk for a while, and then our group chat with Scarlett kind of popped off, and that kind of made us become pretty good mates over that. [All three of us have] become pretty good mates, and been good mates since.
Dylan added that his and Ally’s relationship shifted course after they started talking again in the group chat.
“We’re mates. I yarn with her a couple times a week on the phone or whatnot. Like, just to catch up, or if she gets worried about something, she’ll give me a call and talk through it or something.”
So, is there still hope for a romance between Dylan and Ally in the future?
“Nah, I think it’s completely done,” Dylan said. “I think in the long run we won’t align, and that’s something that’s important to me. And I know it’s important to Ally.”

Despite confirming they were still together at the Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) reunion, there were already clear cracks in Jason and Poppy’s relationship. Now, Farmer Jason has revealed to Chattr in an exclusive interview that Poppy dumped him almost immediately after the FWAW reunion was filmed.
“We flew back to Brisbane [after the reunion], and spent the night in Brisbane at a friend’s place, and then went back to where I lived and she went back to where she lived, and then, she went sort of quiet that week, then we split up. She called it off the following Saturday,” he explained.
The reunion was filmed late last year, one month after the Farmers made their final choices, and Farmer Jason speculated that perhaps Poppy knew she wanted to end things before they filmed the episode.
“Part of me thinks like maybe she already made her decision before the reunion because we obviously filmed it as if we were together, and then like everything seemed alright, and then as soon as we got back, she went quiet for that week, and then she split up on Saturday.”
Farmer Jason explained that Poppy called him with the intention of breaking up with him, and explained that she wasn’t feeling their connection.
“She just said she wasn’t feeling it. She just said, ‘It’s basically just a quick phone call, just letting you know you didn’t do anything wrong, you’re a good person. I’m just not feeling it,'” he explained.
“She seemed like she wanted to quickly have the phone call and get it over and done with, and then she said what she said, and I was in a little bit of shock at how she sort of came across, and then I didn’t really ask why. I just thought, oh well, I don’t want to force someone to like me, so I’ll just leave it at that. It was like a one minute phone call,” he said.
Farmer Jason said their sudden split left him devastated.
“I was in love with her. I had some strong feelings for her and everything, and it was a bit of a shock to me,” he said.
“Everything seemed alright; we were talking and texting every day, and then until it all sort of stopped after we filmed the reunion. I was a bit embarrassed after all, I guess. Obviously, I just went and filmed this whole thing and it’s over, just like straight after filming.”
So, what does Farmer Jason think of Poppy’s decision to dump him not long after the reunion was filmed?
“I’m assuming she’s there for the right intentions, and then, well, she said on the show that she’s never dated anyone with kids, so maybe that was her first experience, and maybe she didn’t like that. I don’t really know why she left. She just said she wasn’t feeling it. That’s all she said.”

Poppy claims that she and Farmer Jason were still together for ‘months’ after they filmed the FWAW Reunion
Poppy remembers things a little differently. Speaking exclusively to Chattr, she claimed she and Farmer Jason spent “months” trying to salvage their relationship after the FWAW reunion aired.
“[The split] wasn’t a week after the reunion. It wasn’t a week after the reunion at all. I don’t know the exact date and time that we broke up, but it certainly wasn’t a week after,” she said.
Poppy explained that she and Farmer Jason spent time together in the four weeks between the last episode and the reunion, and remained together for ‘months’ before she ended things.
“Unfortunately, we aren’t together now, although we did see each other for a good three months or so following [the final episode]. We wanted to try things after filming ended. It’s just a different environment,” she said.
“It was a good chance to get to know each other’s day-to-day lives, and whether we could work. Unfortunately, we didn’t, but it wasn’t for lack of trying.”
Poppy explained that after spending time with Farmer Jason in the real world, she realised her feelings weren’t progressing to the next romantic level.
“You can’t force feelings, and I didn’t have strong feelings towards him, and it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying. Like I definitely wanted to see if there was something there genuinely, and I just had to resign to the fact that I can’t force them, and I need to be upfront with how I’m feeling, and I need to be honest with him, which I was.”
Poppy added there was no ambiguity after the breakup, claiming that once she ended things with Farmer Jason, the relationship was over for good.
“From my side, it was clear-cut, done. I spent a lot of time thinking about it and making sure it was the right decision that I was feeling, and it was, and I stand by that. We spoke platonically afterwards; we spoke not even that long ago, when the final episode aired. So there’s no bad blood at all. There’s no animosity. We get on well. I could text him today or call him today, and we could chat.”

Well folks, it’s almost time for the 2026 season of The Block, which means we’re ever-so-close to watching a batch of hard-working contestants as they renovate and decorate some truly beautiful homes — with a welcome dose of drama, for good measure.
This year’s season of the reno reality show, which marks its 22nd overall, arrives with a few surprises up its sleeve. For starters, it marks the first time in The Block history that the homes have ocean views, with the contestants overtaking a plot of land right by the water in Mount Eliza along Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

While the beautiful vistas are a selling point in their own right, The Block’s 2026 season also presents another series-first; that all the contestants will be living under the same roof for the duration of the build. Gold Coast couple Chantel and Wyatt, who arrived on The Block with hands-on experience in construction and carpentry, said this season’s sharehouse twist actually helped to build connections amongst the cast. “It brought everyone closer because everyone’s forced to live together,” Wyatt, a 30-year-old personal trainer, told Chattr.
Agreeing with that sentiment, Chantel — the daughter of a builder who has assisted in construction — said producers might’ve hoped there had been more drama in the sharehouse than there actually was, though she did have one shocking moment.
“I feel like living in the sharehouse — maybe it didn’t cause as much drama as they would have liked,” she told us. “I did fall down the stairs at the sharehouse though.”
Adam and Jolene

Married couple Adam and Jolene were a little less diplomatic when chatting about their sharehouse experience on The Block. For his part, Adam — a farmer and carpenter — admitted to Chattr that living in close quarters meant “someone was going to p** you off every now and then.”
Jolene, who has experience in property management, agreed with her hubby and revealed the one thing that irked her about living with her castmates. “Of course things are going to happen. Like, not everybody empties their bin,” she told us. If you think that’s gross, that’s not even the half of it…
Rick and Tayla

Father-daughter duo Rick and Tayla were even more forthright in calling out their fellow housemates’ living behaviours, with Tayla telling Chattr that even their own toilets weren’t sacred. “People would use my toilet from another team,” she told us — though she stopped short of naming names.
Going even further, Rick, a residential property developer, lamented just how dirty the living space became. “[We lived] with really dirty people, really untidy people,” he said, going as far as calling them “f**king pigs.” Tell us how you really feel, Rick!

Also taking issue with the cleanliness of the sharehouse was married Perth couple Lisa and Rosco, who told us the exact source of the dirtiness mentioned by Rick. Those with sensitive noses, you’ve been warned.
“There was a time when I went upstairs and the whole upstairs floor just smelled like poo. There was someone in the house who didn’t believe in toilet spray or any of those things, and like the whole top level would just literally stink like actual sh*t,” Lisa told Chattr. “I could have died, it makes me want to vomit.”
Only adding to the smell, Rosco revealed, was the fact that “the window in the toilet was also always locked.” Yikes!
While Rosco wasn’t a fan of the toilet situation, he also told us that he was part of the problem. “What was really good is everyone thought it was just one person stinking up the place the whole time, but sometimes I did it too for a laugh,” he said.
Courtney and Sev

The smell evidently made its way to besties Courtney and Sev, a Brisbane construction and interior design duo who got wind of the sharehouse antics even though they had a room somewhat separate to the rest of the castmates. “Lord, do I know some stories,” Sev told us. “There were four couples sharing one bathroom!”
Beyond the seemingly dishevelled state of the sharehouse, Courtney revealed there were some wholesome moments that came from living so close together, including some shared meals. “Wyatt would make me breakfast every day and it tasted like glue because he does macros, and I don’t know what they are exactly,” Courtney told Chattr. “But now I’m addicted to it, so I ate this disgusting glue during the show.”
So there you have it, a small insight into how the 2026 The Block contestants dealt with the history-making sharehouse twist. We’ll have to wait and see whether the castmates left out any details when the season kicks off.

With a brand new season came 24 of Australia’s most talented home cooks being thrown into high-stakes challenges, including Pressure Tests, Mystery Box challenges, Service Challenges and, of course, those dreaded elimination challenges, all led by this year’s MasterChef Australia judging panel — Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
This season of MasterChef made global headlines with the introduction of Meghan Markle as a guest judge. She joined a bunch of other starry appearances including Robert Irwin, Jimmy and Jane Barnes, Jimmy Wong and Maggie Beer, all of whom threw a dose of local star power into the mix.
While MasterChef followed the format audiences know and love, this season was all about the contestants’ personal journeys, with many joining the show during crossroads in their lives — whether that be career changes, family influences, migration and loss — as critical to their cooking identity.
As it stands, the top three who’ll be heading into finale week are Vinnie, Petro and Aaron, who are all vying for the MasterChef crown, as well as the chance at $250,000 and more culinary opportunities than you can shake a stick at.
So, the countdown is on: let’s see who has handled the heat in the MasterChef kitchen and who was sent home packing. Like previous season’s there’s been a bunch of shocking and heartbreaking eliminations along the way.

Casper Kenworthy

Now within reach of semi-finals territory, remaining contestants Casper, Vinnie, and Aaron faced off — this time under the watchful eye of the season’s starriest guest judge, Meghan Markle. Tasked with creating dishes that reminded them of home, the chef’s delivered an emotional cook that spotlighted an ingredient chosen by their loved ones.
The challenge was one of the season’s most heartwarming, with Casper working with grapes as his hero ingredient. Unfortunately, his pickled grapes and a grape granita fell short in the judge’s eyes, and he was sent home just shy of cracking the top three. Speaking to Chattr, Casper said he was proud and somewhat shocked to have made it that far into the competition.
“I was happy enough just to get a white apron. I was just happy to get through to the next cook, and I really surprised myself with how well I did,” Casper said.
Annabel Llyod

The remaining contestants entered a tough elimination challenge set out by Poh, with immune Vinnie watching from the gantry as Aaron, Annabel, Casper, and Petro whipped up a trio of Malaysian snacks. While Annabel excelled with the curry puffs, a frantic finish left her Kuih Koci undercooked. Sadly, it was Annabel’s dish that had the most errors, meaning she was the next contestant to be sent home.
While saddened by her exit, Annabel said in a post-elimination interview with Chattr that she was grateful for the connections she made with her fellow cooks during her MasterChef journey. “We are the closest cast they’ve ever had. I feel so lucky that I got to be a part of this. There wasn’t smaller groups within a big group. Like everyone got along so well,” Annabel said.
Luke Harris

As the remaining contestants raced towards the top five, they faced the tricky challenge of recreating a classic French sauce under Jean-Christophe’s guidance. The chefs were given 75 minutes to put their own spin on the sauces, and Luke’s take — which infused a heavy orange flavour into the dish — was unfortunately not up to par.
The young contestant ran out of time during the challenge, resulting in an unfinished lamb dish that paired with the sauce. Luke’s elimination meant he missed a place within the top five, though he left the MasterChef kitchen feeling proud of what he’d acheived.
Pat McGarry
The lovable Pat McGarry was sent home from MasterChef Australia during episode 51 after facing off against Aaron and then Luke in a Dual Duel challenge.
The episode consisted of two rounds. In the first round, Aaron, Pat, Vinnie and Luke pulled tokens to determine how they cooked their dish, and who they went up against. Luke and Vinnie drew smoke, meaning they’d use smoke in their dish, while Pat and Aaron drew fire, meaning they’d use flambé. The two losers then faced off in the second round to avoid elimination.
It was Pat and Luke who lost out in the first challenge, and they were allowed to cook whatever they liked in the second round. Pat opted for a dish of grilled octopus with a romesco sauce and pickled kohlrabi while Luke went for a kingfish mosaic.
While the judges loved the bold flavours in Pat’s dish, his inconsistent cooking let him down; some parts were really tender while others were tough. Luke’s ambitious kingfish dish wasn’t perfect either, but it was enough to keep him in the competition.
“If they believed my dish wasn’t as good as Luke’s, then absolutely, they made the right decision.I had so many incredible moments and achieved far more than I ever imagined during my time on MasterChef, so I’ll never complain about how my journey ended,” Pat told Chattr of his elimination.
Alyona Iljuhhina

MasterChef Australia’s Alyona Iljuhhina exited the competition after a whirlwind cook that saw her struggle under the pressure. Misreading some of the steps involved in her dish, Alyona raced against the clock for most of the cook, and although she was able to assemble a beautiful-looking dish in time for plating and judging, some key elements were still missing.
Alyona’s high-intensity cook prompted MasterChef Australia judges Andy Allen and Sofia Levin to offer some advice and urge her to take “deep breaths”. But even with the eleventh-hour reset and a late-stage push to the finish line, Alyona’s final dish wasn’t entirely up to scratch.
While she is “incredibly proud” of her time on MasterChef, Alyona told Chattr that her elimination doesn’t spell the end of her cooking journey. “I feel so excited about what comes next,” Alyona told Chattr.
“I was heartbroken, but I also felt this strange sense of acceptance and gratitude. I had lived this incredible experience, and now I had to take everything I learned and bring it into the next part of my life. I didn’t see it as the end. It felt like the beginning of a new chapter.”
Emily Sue

MasterChef Australia’s Emily was sent home from the competition in an international challenge, which landed her in the bottom three with Vinnie and Annabel. The challenge introduced five globally sourced ingredients to be used, which were bottarga (Italy), sansho pepper (Japan), banana blossom (Vietnam), alheira sausage (Portugal), and juniper berries (Sweden/Scandinavia).
Emily opted to make a Filipino fresh spring roll, and featured the banana blossom alongside pork and prawns. To make sure that the banana blossom really shone in the dish, she decided to fry some up to add an extra crunch element.
However, while the judges loved her dish, they didn’t feel like the banana blossom was the star, and faulted Emily for failing to feature it in either taste or texture. She was sent home from the competition, telling Chattr in a post-elimination interview that she agrees that she dropped the ball in the challenge.
“I think everyone would still have a glimmer of hope that sending a tasty dish with the ingredient would keep them in the competition, but hitting the brief is also crucial,” she said.
Hannah Johnson

Hannah was sent home from MasterChef during an elimination challenge where three safe contestants chose the hero ingredients for the seven cooks fighting to stay in the competition.
Annabel picks leeks, Vinnie opted for mussels and Aaron chose beef short ribs, and the seven home cooks in the kitchen had to choose one and produce a dish with it. They also had access to the garden and pantry.
Hannah went for mussels, and decided to make a complex dish, which ultimately led to her downfall. She made a handmade spaghetti with mussels, a tomato chilli sauce, pangrattato and chilli oil, but with so many elements she had a flustered end to her cook. While she managed to get everything on the plate, it wasn’t as finessed as she’d hoped.
“As soon as I finished cooking I knew I had made mistakes in my dish so I was expecting to be eliminated, however it doesn’t really hit you until it officially happens. It was emotional because it’s the closing of a really beautiful chapter,” Hannah told Chattr in a post elimination interview.
Grace King
Grace narrowly missed out on being a part of MasterChef Australia 2026’s Top 10, when she was eliminated at the last hurdle during a Pressure Test set by dessert queen Kirsten Tibballs.
Emily, Grace, Luke and Aaron landed at the bottom and faced off in a Black Apron challenge, where they had to recreate Kirsten Tibballs’ intricate Chocolate Iris dessert, which featured more than 100 steps.
The judges deemed that Grace’s interior elements weren’t properly formed and she was sent home from the competition.
“I’m obviously crushed to be leaving this close to top 10, but I think I’m leaving on a really incredible note. I’ve leaving this competition with so much knowledge, and so much love,” Grace said after learning that she was eliminated.
Bella Di Conzi

Bella was eliminated from MasterChef Australia for the second time when Curtis Stone returned to the MasterChef kitchen for a high-stakes 60-minute elimination cook.
There was a few big mistakes made by contestants, including Grace, who put her steak in the fridge which resulted in an uneven cook, and Alyona who served an overcooked piece of meat to the judges.
However, it was Bella whose dish the judges deemed the weakest. She served up Thai beef noodles with a chilled broth and they thought her choice of noodle didn’t work, and the meat was undercooked, leading to her elimination.
Jackie Yu
Jackie was eliminated from MasterChef after her dessert went wrong. She made a brown butter financier and while the judges agreed that they liked the orange and cinnamon ice cream she served up, they said her mint and lime granita shouldn’t have been included in the dish. But, the biggest flaw was that her dessert was raw in the middle, ultimately leading to her elimination.
“I’ve absolutely loved it,” Jackie said of her time in the MasterChef kitchen. “This is literally like the best thing I’ve ever done and being around these people is just so inspiring.”
“When I saw the line up i was like I don’t have a chance these guys are amazing and I just feel very lucky and very grateful so yeah thank you all for having me.”
Dot McHugh

Dot McHugh was the latest fave eliminated from MasterChef Australia 2026 in episode 31, which wrapped up Aussie Classics Week with a native ingredients challenge set by guest judge Robert Irwin.
Robert brought in some of his favourite Australian native ingredients and warned the contestants to use them carefully, given how powerful they can be. Dot chose river mint and made river mint doughnuts — a dish Robert was particularly excited to try.
Sadly, the risk didn’t pay off. The river mint overpowered the entire dish, leaving it unbalanced and sending Dot home in a shock elimination. Her exit hit hard because Dot had been considered one of the season’s strongest home cooks, with many fans tipping her as a potential finalist.
Jack Hosking

Jock Hosking shocked fans when he was eliminated during Episode 29 after being a front runner all season. His MasterChef demise began when the contestants were asked to make a dish that featured pork as the star.
Jack opted for an air fryer pork belly with pickled salad and roasted apple purée dish, and while he was happy with what he served up, the judges didn’t share the same opinion. They said the pork itself wasn’t cooked consistently and that the dish lacked a clear direction.
“It’s been so surreal to cook for all you beautiful people,” Jack said after his elimination was announced. “I’ve met some lifelong friends… I just want to keep learning… I’m really proud of myself.”
Lydia Kamperos

Lydia was up against Hannah, Annabel and Alyona after scoring low in the Perfect Pairs Challenge, as well as Vinnie, who was automatically in the elimination round after missing the challenge due to illness. However, he opted to use his immunity pin, meaning it was just the women facing off to see who would be sent home.
The contestants were presented with four covered ingredient tables and told that one would be revealed every 15 minutes. However, each reveal would cut into their preparation and cooking time.
Lydia chose the first ingredient table, which featured herbs, spices and alliums, giving her the longest cooking time of 75 minutes. However, her tart still fell short and she was eliminated from the competition.
“This experience has been the most incredible thing I’ve ever experienced. The environment is so nurturing. I’ve enjoyed meeting all of you, the level of sophistication around food is so inspiring,” Lydia told the group upon learning she had been eliminated.
Olaolu Olorunnimbe

Olaolu Olorunnimbe struggled in the perfect pairing challenge, which required contestants to choose one of five flavour combinations to work with during a 60-second cook.
Ultimately, Olaolu’s dish of Breakfast trifle with whipped yogurt, macerated pineapple and coconut crumb was deemed one of the weakest along with Luke’s En Papillote.
Poh said that Olaolu’s coconut and pineapple ingredients weren’t the start of his dish, like the brief asked, and called the creation “incredibly basic”. All four judges deemed his dish the weakest and he was sent home.
“I’ve got some real mixed feelings right now, it’s never nice hearing your food didn’t hit the mark, but at the same time, I’m super proud of how long I’ve been here and I’m so excited I’ve learned so much,” he said after his elimination was announced.
“It’s been cool to share some Nigerian flavours with all of Australia, I really want to continue to showcase Nigerian food and whatever allows me to do that, I’ll be chasing it down.”
Miin Wei Looi

Miin Wei Looi unofficially became a fan fave after the May 20 Pressure Test, which saw him doubt himself after recreating Chef Rosheen Kaul’s Chou Farci. But while it wasn’t his time to leave the competition then, a heritage challenge aired on May 26 saw him eliminated from the competition.
Miin showcased his Malaysian heritage with a dish which was his mum’s family recipe, called Kiam Chye Ark, which is a salted vegetable duck soup. To fit the dish within the time constraints, Miin opted to use a pressure cooker, which ultimately led to his noodles falling apart and causing his elimination.
“Obviously I’m very sad. I tried my best, and obviously today, my best wasn’t good enough,” Miin said upon finding out he was eliminated. “It’s probably one of the best experiences of my life, I’ve met so many amazing people here, I think I’ve made lifelong friends here. It makes my life richer.”
Lucy Mansfield

Lucy Mansfield found herself in a black apron for a Pressure Test alongside Vinnie, Jackie and Miin, and when Jackie decided to play her Immunity Pins, Lucy’s odds of leaving went from one in four to one in three.
The three contestants were given three hours to recreate Rosheen Kaul’s Chou Farci and — between Lucy’s impressive presentation and Miin’s errors along the way — when the time ran out it looked like Lucy had done enough to stay in the competition.
However, things fell apart for her during the judge’s tasting, with them noting that some of her elements were undercooked, leading to textural issues. Her dish was deemed the weakest, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“This has just been the best experience ever and every time I step into this kitchen I feel so lucky to be here and to be cooking for you guys,” Lucy said to the judges before addressing the contestants. “I feel so lucky and grateful to have met all of you, and I’ll miss you guys so much.”
Kanika Gadyok

Around the World week saw the top 20 MasterChef contestants tackle a mystery ingredient challenge. They were all asked to select a cuisine between Lebanese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican and Vietnamese and they’d picked a secret ingredient was revealed that they were required to champion in the dish.
The bottom three was made up of Jackie who picked Japanese, and Kanika and Olaolu who opted for Mexican. But, it was Kanika’s dish of prawns with chipotle corn and corn salsa that the judges were least impressed with, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“Kanika, eliminations are hard, please promise us that you will continue your journey after you leave,” Jean Christophe told her.
The amateur chef reassured viewers that she won’t be giving up on cooking any time soon.
“It just been an incredible journey, so much exposure to the world of food,” she said. “This is not the last time you’re seeing me, I’m not going to stop here.”
Alita Harvey-Rodriguez

The Black apron challenge on the May 11 episode saw Vinnie and Alita be picked for the bottom two.
“Each of you put something on the plate that had potential, but each of you had critical flaws. Unfortunately, there were too many in yours, Alita,” Poh told the two contestants.
Alita whipped up a dumpling lasagne with buratta. Andy said that while the dumplings were great, they were too hot when the burrata was placed on them, causing it to melt into the lasagna and turned the meat into a “wet meatloaf”.
Meanwhile, Vinnie opted for a pork and gochujang sandwich used pre-made break from the pantry, because the home made focaccia he was working on didn’t cook in time. Andy told him the store-bought bread was a let down, and Sofia said the end result looked like a “sloppy-joe”.
Ultimately, it was Alita’s dish that pleased the judges the least, and she was eliminated from the competition.
“I loved the opportunity to push myself, and to see how good of a cook I can be,” she said when asked her favourite thing about the competition.
Bella Di Conza

The first MasterChef blindside came in the form of Bella Di Conza’s elimination; the 20-year-old recieved a lot of screentime in the first season and her cooking skills were repeatedly praised by the judges.
It all started to go wrong for Bella in the first team challenge, in which she was paired up with Hannah Johnson and Alyona Iljuhhina. The trio’s family feast landed them in the bottom two, meaning they’d compete individually against the three cooks from the other team with the least impressive dish.
In the elimination round, the six contestants were tasked with creating a dish close to their families’ hearts. Bella chose an Apple and Cinnamon Entremet, but the tight 75-minute time limit made it difficult for her to fully perfect the intricate dessert.
She landed in the bottom two aside Hannah, and Sofia delivered the sad news that Bella was eliminated.
“While we really admire your ambition, time got the better of you. There were flaws in most of you elements. I’m so sorry, but we had to say goodbye, Bella.”
Bella took to Instagram after the episode to aired to share that while she was sad about the outcome, she left with her head held high.
“Though every fibre in me aches with disappointment, I couldn’t be more proud of myself for putting up a fight today,” she began.
“Albeit short, my time in the competition has shaped me in many ways. Meeting so many likeminded people on this journey is undoubtedly the biggest win of all. This awesome group care so deeply about food, but moreover about each other. The support I felt from all of them made a world of difference.”
Belinda Gosden

The third elimination challenge saw the judges create a form of “quick carbs” each — Poh made noodles, Andy made flat bread, Jean Christophe went with pilaf rice and Sofia opted for potato latkes. They asked the contestants to make to choose one of the sides, and make a main meal to accompany it. However, they were only given 36 minutes to complete the two dishes.
Alalou, Belinda and Vinnie were in the bottom three, and Andy said it come down to the quick carb they chose and how well it went with their dish.
“Unfortunately, that means you’re going home, Belinda,” he told the three contestants.
Belinda took the bad news within her stride.
“It’s been fantastic,” Belinda said of her time. “I’ve been watching MasterChef since series one, and now I’m on the show, so you know, dream accomplished. I’ve learned that I would like to now take my cooking to another level. I don’t think you’re ever too old to start again. I’ve had eight career paths, so let’s make number nine.”
Jeff Lam

The second Elimination Challenge of the season saw Pat, Jackie, Jeff, Luke and Vinnie all tasked with cooking a pie using Maggie Beer’s pastry recipe in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, and the contestant behind the pie that impressed the judges the least would be sent home.
The stakes were risen by the fact that Maggie was on the judging panel, along with the regular crew; Andy, Poh, Sofia and Jean-Christophe.
While every dish had elements that the judges loved, despite his best efforts it was ultimately Jeff’s undercooked pastry that let him down and let to his elimination.
“There was one pie that really suffered, the pastry was undercooked, and the filling lacked balance, which means your time in the MasterChef kitchen has come to an end, Jeff,” Poh told the group.
Jean-Christophe then created Jeff’s iconic new nickname MasterJeff before the group chanted it at him for his exit.
Jeff took the bad news well, saying in a post-elimination interview that he’s leaving the competition with his head held high.
“I came with a dream of the last 11 years to come to MasterChef, and I got that dream, I got the white apron, and nothing could take that away from me. I’m proud of what I achieved, a great experience overall,” he said.
Megs Steel

Megs Steel is a 40-year-old HR consultant from Queensland. Unfortunately, she became the first contestant to be eliminated during the first round of the competition.
For Megs, securing a white apron on MasterChef was the realisation of a long-held dream. With a deep passion for catering, she had always had a dream to open her own restaurant called Megs Place.
Unfortunately, Megs Steel’s journey in the competition was cut short, making her the first contestant to be eliminated this season. During a challenge that asked the contestants to create a dish to represent them as home cooks, Megs served undercooked prawns, which the judges thought was clearly unsatisfactory and she was swiftly sent packing.
“I’m absolutely gutted, but I’ve taken so much, I’ve learned from everyone here, so I just really wanted to thank you all, it was everything I hoped and a million times more,” Megs said upon her elimination.
While the MasterChef judges were clearly disappointed to see her depart, Poh Ling Yeow noted that they looked forward to seeing her restaurant dreams come to fruition.
Reflecting on her exit in a confessional, Megs admitted, “I’m definitely heartbroken that I didn’t get to stay longer,” adding that she was “sad” that she had not had the opportunity to fully showcase her skills.
“I’m extremely grateful. This is a place where dreams are made of, and I had that for a short time.”

But are two stars of The Bachelor set to face off this season? That’s what is being teased, as Alex Nation and Keira Maguire — who both duked it out for Richie Strahan’s affections in 2016 — look like they could butt heads when reunited on The Traitors.
“Keira is chaos,” Alex says in the season three trailer. In another scene, Keira shouts at someone “You’re so full of s**t.” Oop!
Could this be a battle of The Bachelor stars? Based on their public sightings and Instagram activity in recent years, it appears that Keira and Alex have mended their relationship.
At The Traitors premiere, Chattr can reveal both women were chatting together happily. That said, they didn’t sit together during the screening — they sat with an empty seat between them. Hmm.
So what is going on (??) and how did this ‘feud’ even begin? Chattr spoke to both Bachelor stars for all the inside goss.
Why were The Traitors Australia’s Alex and Keira in a feud?
It’s unclear exactly what started this ‘feud’, but Alex and Keira did have high tension between them on the 2016 season of The Bachelor Australia.
The main cause of the friction was Richie Strahan giving Alex (aka his eventual winner) the White Rose, which would permit her to grab him for solo time at any cocktail party.
In one confrontation, Alex returned from exchanging her White Rose for some time with Richie and Kiera wasn’t too happy. “I’m surprised that you did that tonight. Babe, come on!” she told Alex. “You disappointed me, personally.”

They exchanged a war of words, as Alex told her: “We’re two different people, Keira.” The argument got so heated that Alex had to be pulled away.
But following this fiery moment and soon after the cameras stopped rolling, Alex and Keira were photographed together, suggesting the two women buried the hatchet long ago.
The Traitors Australia’s Alex and Keira address their feud
Alex and Keira told Chattr about their reality TV feud. “Keira and I didn’t get along on my season of The Bachelor. We constantly butted heads,” Alex told Chattr.
“But you will see as the show [The Traitors] goes on that we actually develop a really beautiful friendship. Ten years has passed since our season of The Bachelor and we’ve grown as women. We’ve kind of come into ourselves.”
Keira admits she was surprised that Alex brought up their ‘feud’ on The Traitors. “If you watch the show, you’ll see that I don’t really care. Like, she’s the only one talking about it. I forgot. I’ve moved on,” Keira shared with Chattr.
“Ultimately, you’re kind of a little bit uncertain. What are the vibes? Why don’t I like this person? You have to retrace your memories because it’s been so long. I had to think, why don’t I like her? Do you know what I mean? I had to really think about it. I’m sure something happened.”
Are Alex and Keira from The Traitors Australia still friends?
After reconnecting on The Traitors, Alex and Keira are now firm friends. “I’ve gotten to know Keira for who she is now, as the woman that she is now. That has developed into a really nice friendship,” Alex told Chattr.
Keira didn’t expect to walk away from the reality show with Alex as her pal. “I’m friends with Alex all of a sudden?” Keira said, before confirming they are still friends to this day.
“She’s like family — I can’t get rid of her! You don’t choose your family. I really do like her, but I feel like I am forced to be around her, but she’s not going anywhere. But in the nicest way possible.”
Keira did admit the experience bonded them together. “It absolutely [brought us together], we were like two different people ten years ago and then we went away and did similar things. I feel like I’m a different person now.”
The third season of Traitors Australia premieres on Network 10 and 10Play on August 4, 2026.
After 22 seasons of The Block, the 2026instalment is the first to feature homes with sweeping ocean views, raising the stakes for contestants and setting a new benchmark for luxury.
As always, a new season means a new location for the hit TV show. While the 2026 build is hours away from last year’s site, The Block will remain in Victoria, where it has been filmed for the past 15 years.
The new instalment is taking place in the seaside suburb of Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, which is about 48 kilometres south-east of Melbourne’s CBD.

Mount Eliza is located about an hour south of Melbourne and is known for it’s relaxed coastal lifestyle, stunning beaches and multimillion-dollar homes. The affluent suburb offers the best of both worlds, with a laid-back beachside vibe that’s still within easy reach of the city.
That premium postcode is also expected to make this season one of The Block‘s toughest yet. Judge Darren Palmer believes the high-end location will raise the bar for contestants.
“They have one of the hardest briefs ever set on The Block, because Mount Eliza buyers know exactly what they want,” he told the Herald Sun.

How much do houses cost in Mount Eliza?
If you’re not familiar with Mount Eliza, it’s an affluent Mornington Peninsula suburb known for its multimillion-dollar homes, leafy streets and stunning bay views.
So, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the average house price in the area is well and truly in the seven-figure range.
Mount Eliza acts as a gateway to the rest of the Mornington Peninsula, and the median price for houses is $1.7 million. The area has experienced 6.3% growth in the past 12 months, and houses last an average of 39 days on the market— let’s hope this year’s The Block homes only need one auction day!
What has The Block team said about Mount Eliza?
Host Scott Cam has shared his excitement about heading to the coastal suburb, saying that this season marks a long-running plan for the show to visit the Mornington Penisula.
“There’s one place we’ve always dreamed of going … finally the peninsula is our home,” he said in the promo.
Executive producer and series creator Julian Cress has also raved about the new location.
“The stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne skyline fulfills a long-held ambition for us as producers, in what is an aspirational blue-chip real estate location. We have made this show in Bondi, Manly, Vaucluse and Phillip Island, and never had water views,” he said.
Not all of The Block’s lots are equal
Viewers can expect drama from the very first episode of The Block 2026, with some lots offering a clear advantage over others and contestants set to battle it out for the best plots.
Houses 1, 2 and 3 will set up land that’s perched to capture sweeping bay and city views, and have approximately 1000 square metres of land.
Houses 4 and 5 are positioned on lower sloping blocks, with only partial water views, which is a clear disadvantage when it comes to sale price. While House 5 is the same size as 1, 2 and 3, House 5 does have the advantage of a larger area of 435 square metres, complete with an additional 50 square metres of internal floor space.

What’s in Mount Eliza?
While Mount Eliza is a quaint area that gives off country town vibes, it has some gems nestled in the area. On a recent episode of Postcards, Foreman Dan showed some of the team his favourite spots.
Among them was Butterken Bakery, a traditional German bakery famous for its sourdough, pretzels, pastries and cakes using local ingredients, and Italian restaurant Bau Bau Dining.
On the main strip there’s a Woolworths and IGA, as well as a handful of cafes, parks and small businesses.
The Block 2026 premieres on August 2 on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Former Big Brother Australia host (and living legend) Gretel Killeen has taken over hosting duties from actor Rodger Corser, overseeing the contestants as they lie, scheme and attempt to unmask the treacherous Traitors hiding among them.
Season three was filmed at Claremont Castle in Timaru, New Zealand, rather than the Robertson Hotel in the NSW Southern Highlands, which hosted the first two seasons.
The new season features 22 stars from 12 reality shows, including The Bachelor’s Keira Maguire and Alex Nation, Australian Survivor champion Shane Gould, Big Brother’s Tully Smyth, MasterChef Australia favourite Alvin Quah and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under diva Kween Kong.
The Traitors franchise has quickly become an international phenomenon — with breakout celebrity-packed seasons in the US and UK — but if you’re a newcomer to the show, you might be wondering: umm, what is this happening? Thankfully, we’ve got you covered.
How does The Traitors Australia work?
The Traitors Australia is a psychological strategy game divided between the majority of Faithfuls and a smaller group of secretly selected Traitors.
While the Faithful must work out who is lying to them, the Traitors try to remain undetected as one by one, they remove their opponents. Each night, the Traitors meet privately and choose one contestant to ‘murder’, immediately eliminating that person from the competition.
The remaining players discover who has been murdered when the contestant fails to appear at breakfast the following morning. Brutal, right?
Each day, everyone participates in missions that add money to the prize pool. Certain challenges may also offer players a Shield, protecting its holder from being murdered that night.
At the Round Table, the contestants discuss their suspicions before voting to banish one player they believe is a Traitor. The eliminated contestant then reveals whether they were a Faithful or a Traitor — and the unmasking brings big drama. Fun!

How do you win The Traitors Australia?
To win as a Faithful, contestants must survive until the end and successfully banish every remaining Traitor. Any Faithful players left after all the Traitors have been removed share the accumulated prize money.
However, if even one Traitor remains undetected at the end, the Traitor can claim the prize instead. This means contestants must decide whether to end the game or continue banishing players if they suspect an enemy is still among them. The Traitors must build trust, misdirect suspicion and sometimes sacrifice one of their own to avoid being exposed.
How are the Traitors chosen?
The host (aka Gretel) secretly selects the Traitors at the beginning of the game, usually after speaking with contestants about whether they would prefer to play as a Traitor or Faithful.
The chosen players are identified privately while the group sits together. Everyone else becomes a Faithful. The Traitors then meet in secret in episode one, where they learn one another’s identities and begin planning how to deceive the rest of the contestants.

How many Traitors are there?
The exact number of Traitors can vary between seasons and may not be revealed to the Faithful contestants.
The game generally begins with a small group of Traitors — typically three people but sometimes four — hidden among a much larger group of Faithfuls. More Traitors can also be recruited during the competition, particularly after one is banished. This uncertainty makes the game harder, as the Faithfuls cannot be certain when every Traitor has been eliminated.
Can the Traitors murder another Traitor?
No, the Traitors cannot normally select another Traitor as their nightly murder victim. Murders are used to eliminate Faithful contestants who pose a threat to their game.
However, Traitors can turn against one another at the Round Table and vote to banish a fellow Traitor. They may do this to protect their own identity, gain the Faithfuls’ trust or remove another Traitor they believe could expose them.
What happens if a Traitor reaches the final?
When the remaining contestants decide to end the game, if a Traitor is still standing, the Faithfuls lose and the Traitor can claim the prize pool. This is why the finalists must decide whether they genuinely believe every Traitor has been banished.

The Australian version has a history of chaotic finales. Season one Traitor, Alex Duggan, successfully deceived the final Faithful and collected the entire $250,000 prize.
However, nobody won the $208,000 accumulated during season two after the finalists all attempted to steal the money during the concluding Traitors’ Dilemma — the messiest of endings.
Can more than one person win The Traitors Australia?
Yes. Multiple Faithful contestants can win if they reach the end and successfully remove every Traitor, with the prize divided among them.
Multiple Traitors can reach the final, but in the Australian version, this meant that the remaining Traitors must choose whether to share or steal the money, meaning several players could split the prize — or everyone could leave with nothing if they all choose to steal.
What is the prize money?
The contestants are playing for a prize pool worth up to roughly $250,000 in silver bars. But the exact total depends on how much money the group earns during the missions.
The third season of Traitors Australia premieres on Network 10 and 10Play on August 4, 2026.
The MAFS bride tells Chattr she has already been talking to her manager about the possibility of getting on the reality TV show. With the way MAFS cast continue to appear on our screens, it’s a real possibility.
“I want Big Brother so bad,” Bec says. “I just think that it would be an opportunity for people to see a different side of me, a less edited [version].”
While we saw the fiery and emotional version of Bec on MAFS, she’s keen to show off her more “placid”, “calm” and “loving” sides as well. “In the Big Brother house, you get to see a little bit more of a multifaceted person rather than what the network has chosen to show of you,” the bride says.
“I think it would be a really nice way of getting people to see that I’m not as vicious and awful as everyone… think[s] I am.”
The influencer doesn’t think she can return to a 9-5 job at this stage, so reality TV slots perfectly into her plan.
“I don’t think my life will ever be regular again. I am earning money through social media at the moment,” Bec spills. “I’m consulting, and I’ve got a few things in the works. I wouldn’t say no to another option of TV, especially if it means that I can show a different side to myself and show a bit of growth.”

Bec wants to do Travel Guides with MAFS co-star Sam Stanton
Another reality TV show Bec has her eye on is Travel Guides. Her ideal partner is MAFS groom Sam Stanton, whom she is very close to.
“My ultimate dream is to be on Travel Guides with Sammy Stanton,” Bec gushes. “We’re putting that into the universe. But yeah, look, I’m open.”
She says a 9-5 job wouldn’t work with her current schedule, as the MAFS bride sounds pretty in-demand. “I need that flexibility. I’ve got lots and lots… going on, and lots of events that are happening, and stuff like that,” the reality TV star adds.

With the MasterChef Australia 2026 finale just around the corner, only three contestants remain in the race for the title, and each has proven they’re more than capable of taking out the competition.
Viewers have been full of praise for the Top 3, with many saying it’s one of the strongest final trios the show has seen in years.
And, it’s not just fans who think finalists Aaron Kher, Petro Papathomas and Vinnie Gibaldi are all deserving of a win. Contestants Annabel Lloyd and Casper Kenworthy have also shared what makes each of them such a strong contender.
“Petro has a really refined palate, and he’s not afraid to make some big, crazy flavour combinations,” Casper told Chattr in an exclusive interview.
“Aaron has a really great base and is very delicate. He presents dishes well, where the others have maybe more rustic plating, but that probably goes back to their sort of heritage as well,” he explained.
“I think Vinnie is a very strong all-around cook. He has some great desserts, he’s got good cooking DNA, I would say.”
In a separate interview, Annabel pointed out that she thinks Vinnie’s made a lot of progress since the start of the season.
“He’s improved the most out of anyone,” she said.
Casper added that he believes that all three amateur cooks have different strengths, which is what will make the upcoming episodes so unpredictable.
“They peak in different areas of their skill set, I think, and it’s gonna be interesting to see how that sets them up for semis and grand finale,” he said.

Who do Casper and Annabel think will win MasterChef Australia 2026?
Casper and Annabel both seem to agree on one name that will make the final two: Vinnie.
Annabel told Chattr that she has a theory that Vinnie wins, because she believes winners always show growth throughout their MasterChef journey.
“If you look back, a lot of the people who win are the ones who’ve come the furthest,” she pointed out.
Meanwhile, Casper said that Vinnie and Petro are his picks for the top two.
“I would love to see a little Lygon Street showdown between Petro and Vinny, and that one could go either way. They’ve had so much growth across the competition. I think Aaron started with a really good base and has definitely learned along the way,” he told Chattr.
“But when you look at Vinnie, he was in that first pressure test, he was in the first three eliminations, and now in that run to the finals week, he won two immunities there — that’s some pretty incredible growth. And Petro’s had a very similar story. I think seeing them show what they’ve learned across the season would be great.”
The MasterChef Australia 2026 grand finale will air on August 9 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
The former golden couple, who appeared on the 2026 season of the dating show, confirmed their split earlier this month, just eight months after they got engaged in the MAFS finale.
After Stella shared the couple’s plans to elope, Filip has taken to social media to share a cryptic post about what you can “control”. It hasn’t been accepted well by all the fans, with many feeling sorry for his jilted bride, Stella.
“The only things you truly control are: your attitude, your effort, your words, your actions, your habits, your discipline, your integrity, your response to adversity, who you spend your time with, what you consume, what you choose to focus on [and] the standards you hold yourself to,” he wrote, before finishing with #gratitude.
MAFS fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “Maybe you should follow your own advice.”
“Maybe read up on how to end a relationship in person? That’d be a good start,” another said, referring to how Filip ended his relationship with Stella over the phone.
“Breaking up over the phone is not a good indicator of integrity,” a third agreed.
However, he was supported with positive comments from MAFS grooms David Momoh and Scott McCristal.
Stella reveals she had plans to elope with Filip in July
A bunch of social media statements and updates have followed, with the most recent being the news that Stella was ready to elope with Filip and had plans for a ceremony slated for late July.
“I was planning to offer for us to elope. I had plans in place for July 25,” Stella told the Daily Mail.

Stella went on to reveal that she had consulted a bridal jeweller, “Simon Curwood, and the events manager at the venue where we got married last year.” The planning even went as far as landing a magazine deal to cover the elopement, Stella revealed.
Elsewhere in her statement, Stella called hogwash on reports she and Filip were not aligned on their future, saying claims otherwise are “absolute bullocks and so far beyond the truth.”
Stella’s statement confirms previous rumours around her and Filip’s imminent nuptials, with reporter Ali Daher saying in a recent TikTok Live video with MAFS contestant Awhina Rutene that the pair were “planning to elope.”
“They were going to get married this month, actually,” Ali told Awhina in the clip.
While Stella said she had plans for an elopement in place, competing sources refuted that version of events, claiming she and Filip had disagreed over their living arrangements before planning a ceremony and ending their engagement.
“Stella had no plans to move to Melbourne. It wasn’t even an option,’ a told the Daily Mail. “That was a major reason Filip wanted out. He could not see how the relationship was going to work when they were not on the same page about where they would build their life.”

The elopement news follows a flurry of updates about the fallout of Stella and Filip’s split, which was confirmed earlier this month.
At the time, reports claimed it was Stella who initiated the break-up, but the MAFS bride quickly refuted those rumours on social media — saying it was Filip who broke the engagement and that he delivered the news over the phone.

“I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I feel it’s important to share my truth,” Stella wrote on Instagram. “Filip ended our relationship. While he had clearly been processing that decision for some time, I genuinely believed we were working towards the same future. I was completely blindsided.”
After a few days of radio silence, Filip shared his own statement on Instagram — albeit a rather brief one.
“I initially chose not to comment publicly because I didn’t want to contribute to online negativity. All I will say is, I’m not going to debate our relationship on social media. I respect what we shared, wish Stella the best, and I’m moving forward with peace and gratitude,” he posted.

Stella commented on Filip’s post to ask their fans to stop ‘making assumptions’ about their split. “Guys, this really needs to stop,” she wrote.
“Whatever assumptions are being made online, the reality is that this is someone I genuinely believed I was going to spend my life with. Seeing so much hate directed at another human being is heartbreaking.
“Our relationship ending doesn’t make either of us villains. We were two people trying to navigate something incredibly difficult, and call me delulu but breakups do hurt on either sides,” she continued.
“I don’t think I’m the only one hurting here, so seeing this is actually making me sick. Yes, it came as a blindsided decision, but at the end of the day, YOU DON’T have to choose sides!!!!! Please just choose kindness. Neither of us deserves abuse.”

In an Instagram Story, Stella reflected on the relationship, sharing an image of herself wearing a dress and long hair extensions that she had intended to be an anniversary present for Filip.
“This was supposed to be an anniversary surprise. Instead, it became a love letter to myself,” she wrote. “It’s funny how the things we plan for someone else sometimes become exactly what we need. A reminder that my life didn’t stop because a chapter ended,” she continued.
“Healing rarely happens all at once. It happens in tiny decisions. A fresh set of hair. A new outfit. A walk. A smile that returns before you’re ready for it. One day, you’ll realise the light never actually left. You just had to find your way back to it.”

MAFS’ Stella denies claims she was never moving to Melbourne
In Stella’s longer statement, she again refuted reports that she wasn’t planning to relocate. “I had made the decision to move to Melbourne. I own a business that I’ve spent years building, so it wasn’t as simple as packing a suitcase. I needed a few months to wrap things up, end leases and put everything in place before relocating,” she said.
“As our relationship grew, I believed moving to Melbourne made the most sense for us. It offered more family support, better work opportunities for Filip and a more affordable place for us to build a life together.”
Stella added that her desire to have kids soon played a part in the move — but she was ‘blindsided’ when Filip ended their engagement over the phone. “Starting a family has been something I’ve hoped for for a long time. I genuinely thought we were making those decisions together. Instead, I received a phone call ending our relationship,” she wrote.

“I am heartbroken, deeply saddened and, if I’m honest, incredibly embarrassed that something I believed in so wholeheartedly didn’t work out the way I had hoped. While I respect that everyone has the right to choose what’s best for them, I also feel it’s important that the facts are clear.”
Given that Stella disclosed that Filip ended their eight-month engagement via a phone call, the MAFS groom has been met with immense backlash online.
Stella’s statement follows the Ukrainian influencer sharing a much more cryptic Instagram post with her followers. “It would be easy to tell this story by deciding who was right and who was wrong. To point fingers. To protect my ego. To pretend I was perfect. But no,” her post began.
“I’m not here for that. Far from it. I made mistakes. I have regrets.”
She went on to say that her short-lived engagement to Filip had taught her many lessons about relationships and herself. “Life has a beautiful way of teaching us. Sometimes gently. And sometimes, when we miss the gentle lessons… Life delivers one that’s heartbreakingly loud. This one was loud. Boy, was it loud,” she wrote.
“This relationship quietly revealed something I couldn’t see before. Sometimes, sitting quietly beside that ambition… was fear.”
In a further comment, Stella shared some choice words about the MAFS relationship. “I’d rather be remembered for my honesty than admired for a version of myself that simply is fake,” she wrote.
“I’d rather be seen as deeply human… than perfectly curated. Maybe that’s what being human really is. Not getting every chapter right. Not avoiding heartbreak. Not always knowing how to love perfectly.”
She ended the comment, reflecting that “If this chapter has taught me anything, it’s this: The person I become because of this pain matters far more than the pain itself.”
It appears that both Filip and Stella have removed some of their most recent photos together from Instagram. However, he is still tagged in some old posts, suggesting that he hasn’t been blocked. That said, Stella doesn’t appear to be tagged in Filip’s posts, which could mean that he has blocked his ex-fiancée.
Why did MAFS’ Stella and Filip split?
A source originally told the Daily Mail their breakup was partly due to their finances. “Stella has always been very ambitious and wanted someone who could provide the lifestyle she was looking for,” the insider claimed.
“She wanted a partner who could really support her financially, and she didn’t feel Filip was in that position.”
Apparently, they’ve largely been living separate lives for the past few months. “With Filip based in Melbourne for work and Stella spending more time with friends in Sydney, they were living quite separate lives,” the source added.
In conflicting reports, Daily Mail’s source claimed that Stella initiated the split. “Filip is absolutely heartbroken,” the insider said.
“He genuinely thought they had a future together, but he’s trying to keep himself busy by throwing himself into work and spending as much time as possible with his family in Melbourne.”
