Meet Krysten and Lucy, the mother-daughter duo bringing plenty of personality to this season of My Kitchen Rules (MKR).
Hailing from a 12-acre property in Queensland, the pair share a love of the outdoors, spending their time baking, fishing and free-diving when they’re not hosting friends at their fairy-lit smokehouse.
When it comes to cooking, Krysten brings bold flavours and plenty of instinct to the table, while Lucy takes a more precise and methodical approach thanks to her baking background.
Their kitchen prowess dazzled the judges, with Colin apparently revealing Lucy is his fave of the competition!

MKR’s Krysten and Lucy reveal Colin told them they’re his favourite team
Speaking exclusively to Chattr, the ladies revealed Colin is their favourite judge because, well, they’re his favourite team!
“We love Colin,” Krysten said.
“We can’t really go into detail, but there’s definitely a couple of points, whether they get shown or not, where Colin makes it really clear that he’s a big fan of Lucy’s cooking and of Lucy, and it’s really quite cute.”
Lucy added, “Yeah, look, they probably won’t air this, so it’s just my word against everyone else’s but Colin did say I was his favourite.”
“Do what you want with that!” Krysten continued with a giggle.

Who are My Kitchen Rules couple Krysten and Lucy?
Krysten and Lucy call a 12-acre property in Queensland home, where the mother-daughter duo enjoy a lifestyle filled with baking, fishing, free-diving and entertaining friends at their fairy-lit smokehouse. While Krysten lives in the family home, Lucy has her own tiny home on the acreage.
Krysten is a self-described gym “beast” who doesn’t believe in sitting still for long. Confident and sarcastic, she’s a keen fisherwoman, co-owns the family’s medical practice and previously spent seven years living on a boat.
Meanwhile, Lucy has inherited her mum’s adventurous streak, running her own micro-bakery, Burnt Croissants. She’s also an accomplished angler, holding the world record for the largest Australian bass caught by an under-16 female fisher.
When it comes to the kitchen, Krysten relies on instinct and bold flavours, while Lucy takes a more meticulous, methodical approach, bringing her precision and baking expertise to the table.
