The Big Brother house is officially open, and this year’s cast is bringing everything from family rivalries and sibling secrets to tradie energy, big personalities and a whole lot of chaos.
Fourteen housemates have packed their bags and entered the Brisbane compound ready to make alliances, stir up drama, form unexpected friendships and (hopefully) avoid getting nominated.
Hosted by Mel Tracina, the live shows will put the housemates’ biggest moments under the spotlight — but only one person (including any intruders who may enter along the way) can walk away with the $100,000 prize.
So, who are the brave souls ready to battle it out under Big Brother’s watchful eye? Meet the 2026 cast.
Meet the Big Brother 2026 housemates
Anita, 47

Tasmanian travel advisor Anita is walking into the Big Brother house with a very familiar connection to the game — she’s the sister of two-time Big Brother winner Reggie Bird.
But while she might have winner’s blood running through her veins, Anita is ready to make her own mark.
After spending years caring for her parents, this is the first time in a long time she’s doing something completely for herself. Known for her spontaneous spirit, Anita has travelled solo, skateboarded and even taken a mannequin on a road trip across Australia.
With her warm personality and zero-filter attitude, she’s hoping to bring plenty of kindness (and maybe a little chaos) to the house.
Austin, 22

If there’s a broken chair in the Big Brother house, Austin might be the man to call.
The 22-year-old chippy works alongside his dad and brother in the family business, bringing classic young tradie energy into the house.
When he’s not swinging a hammer, Austin swaps his work boots for a wetsuit and hits the surf with his mates.
He’s hoping his laid-back charm and good vibes will win over his fellow housemates — because apparently tradies don’t just get the ladies, they get the votes too.
Charity, 29

Charity’s journey to the Big Brother house is anything but ordinary.
Born in Kenya to a Sudanese family, she arrived in Australia as a seven-year-old refugee unable to speak English. Growing up as one of 13 siblings, she’s no stranger to sharing space — or standing out in a crowd.
Now working as a door-to-door Field Manager, Charity believes she was born for television.
With a huge personality, infectious smile and no hesitation about saying exactly what she thinks, she’s ready to bring the energy.
Ebony, 23

Ebony has entered the Big Brother house knowing exactly who she is — and she’s not afraid to tell everyone.
The self-made entrepreneur describes herself as bringing “charisma, looks, talent, intelligence” and “the biggest opinions” into the game.
While some housemates might be searching for romance, Ebony has made it clear her main love language is money.
Having never been kissed, she says nothing will distract her from chasing the $100,000 prize.
Her biggest pet peeves? Slow walkers, loud chewers, feet and, well… people in general.
Harmon, 29

Harmon isn’t entering the Big Brother house to sit quietly in the corner.
The IT salesman has worked across mining, crypto and podcasting, and believes he has the charm to start a cult — which is certainly one way to introduce yourself.
Raised in a strict immigrant household, Harmon says he grew up fearless and now enjoys pushing people’s buttons just to see what happens.
A self-described provocateur, he’s the kind of housemate who could either create the best conversations… or the biggest arguments.
Heath, 23

Engineering student Heath is proof you should never judge a book by its cover.
The Gold Coast local fronts a band, surfs, sews his own clothes, makes jewellery and spends his spare cash travelling.
His friends describe him as a human golden retriever — energetic, social and always ready for an adventure.
But underneath the goofy personality is a strategic mind, meaning Heath might be more calculated than his housemates realise.
Kyrah, 25

You probably won’t miss Kyrah entering a room.
The secondary Drama and English teacher is loud, clever, chaotic and proudly unfiltered.
A former student at the same school where she now teaches, Kyrah knows how to command attention — something that could come in handy in the Big Brother house.
Newly single after a five-year relationship, she’s also one of seven siblings and a twin.
With a brain full of random facts, fierce competitiveness and a tendency to lose her phone multiple times a day, Kyrah is bringing a unique mix of chaos and intelligence.
Marshy, 24

Andrew — better known as Marshy — is hoping to add another title to his impressive resume: Big Brother winner.
The Toyota forklift salesman is also a lifelong AFL player, serial dater and proud owner of a growing collection of budgie smugglers.
Describing himself as an “Italian Jason Momoa”, Marshy reckons his gift of the gab will help him charm his way through the competition.
But with a competitive streak and a reputation for struggling to keep secrets, he could become one to watch.
Matthew, 37

Property investor Matthew is bringing confidence, charisma and plenty of opinions into the house.
He believes his personality is his biggest strength and has no plans to tone himself down.
Always up for a debate, Matthew isn’t afraid to challenge people — especially if he thinks they’re telling him what to think.
But there’s more than business talk behind his confident exterior, with Matthew also known to bust out a rap or show off his breakdancing skills.
Matty, 39

Don’t let the “textbook Aussie bogan” label fool you.
Former FIFO miner Matty might bring plenty of classic Aussie humour into the house, but he’s also armed with a Mining Engineering degree and an MBA.
Now working as a mining commentator, Matty loves proving people wrong when they underestimate him.
Behind the jokes and bravado is a loyal dad of two daughters and the kind of mate who always shows up.
Pam, 61

At 61, Pam is proving age is just a number.
The oldest housemate in the competition is outgoing, competitive and ready to play.
While she might give off a friendly, motherly vibe, Pam isn’t afraid to call things out when something doesn’t sit right.
She also knows a thing or two about Big Brother, thanks to her son Kieran Davidson, who previously appeared on the show and became famous for receiving the most nominations in Season 12.
Now it’s Pam’s turn to make her mark.
Pheobe, 26

Bunnings worker by day, performer by… basically always.
Pheobe has spent 11 years working at Bunnings but has a background in musical theatre and considers herself the house’s resident court jester.
She’s the type to burst into song or dance without warning, but behind the jokes is a sharp and self-aware competitor.
A massive ABBA fan (she’s already chosen “Chiquitita” as her funeral song), Pheobe is looking for fun, honesty and someone who can “match her freak”.
Ryan, 27

Ryan is bringing the biggest personality — and possibly the biggest laugh — into the Big Brother house.
The garden centre manager is proudly gay, Australian Italian and known for his outrageous humour.
From serving customers in wigs to calling everyone “darl”, Ryan doesn’t exactly do subtle.
He’s also a huge Susan Boyle fan, affectionately calling her his “65-year-old God”.
But beneath the comedy is a caring and resilient person who has overcome huge challenges and values loyalty above all else.
Oh, and he’s not entering alone… his sister Tahlia is joining him.
Tahlia, 25

Tahlia might have a secret weapon in the Big Brother house: her brother Ryan.
Working in horticulture, gardening and support work, Tahlia is used to connecting with all kinds of people.
With a dry sense of humour and a talent for finding herself in bizarre situations, she’s ready to form friendships and make memories.
The only downside? She’ll be missing her partner Charlotte while she’s inside.
Big Brother airs 7:30pm weeknights and 7pm Sundays on 10, with the live stream available via 10 Play.
