It’s almost time for another summer of love and seriously messy drama because Love Island Australia is officially returning for its eighth season this month.
Iconic host and national treasure, Sophie Monk, is back to guide a fresh batch of sexy singles through hectic recouplings and heartbreaking dumpings. This season could be one of the wildest yet, as Sophie has even teased a love triangle that she believes will become a viral moment.
However, there’s a major change this year, with Love Island Australia swapping its usual filming location in Mallorca, Spain, for the tropical paradise of Fiji. The Aussie Islanders will take over the villa previously used by Love Island USA, giving the American season an Australian makeover.
The upcoming season has some big shoes to fill after exes Yana Marks and Kye Lambert were crowned the winners of Love Island Australia 2025. The pair rekindled their romance in the villa after a rocky history and ultimately won over viewers, taking home the prize.
Premiering on October 26 on Channel 9 and 9Now, a new group of Islanders is preparing to put their hearts on the line, with plenty of opportunities for romance, betrayal and chaos.
And while finding love is supposedly the goal, social media fame is another major drawcard. The latest cast is particularly Instagram-savvy, with several Islanders boasting substantial followings before even entering the villa.
So, who are the singles hoping to find their perfect match? Until we get a look at their official bios, meet the Love Island Australia 2026 cast and more importantly, where to follow them on Instagram.
