The highly anticipated My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2026 dinner table showdown between Angus and Simon and Zoe (of team Zoe and Zac) kicks up a notch this week and we are DYING for the drama.

The bubbling tension between the pescatarian foodie and the Adelaide besties erupts in a clash at the dinner table that spans several eps this week.

In the lead-up, Angus and Simon spoke exclusively with Chattr about the upcoming episodes.

Angus and Simon address their feud with Zoe

The lads revealed they have no regrets over how things played out with Zoe, standing by their fiery approach and saying they wouldn’t change a thing.

“I’m quite confident!” Angus told Chattr.

“Look, I think my fiancé is not confident at all [about the episodes airing], but I never felt like we said anything that crossed a line and I was quite honest. I told them I wanted to put the gatecrashers on the back foot, so it wasn’t a secret.

“I didn’t want them to ever feel comfortable at the table, firstly because I didn’t like the gatecrashers as a concept — I prefer the OGs. And secondly because I felt like it was going to impact their cooking, which it did.”

Ripping further shreds off the gatecrashers, Angus said “you’re just born to hate them”.

“It’s worse than intruders, because who gatecrashes a dinner party? Get lost!” he added.

In fact, if they could have done anything differently, it would have been to go “harder”.

“I really don’t think I would have [done anything differently], I probably would’ve gone harder,” Angus said.

“Because it’s not in my nature to get involved in conflict but I felt like it was not only in my best interest, as far as the competition was concerned, but I felt like it needed to be said. You know how people say, ‘Are you here for the right reasons?’ That’s how it felt. I felt like it needed to be expressed. Are you really here because you want to win the competition and you love cooking or are you here because you think it’ll be easy and you want to see your face on TV for 5 seconds?”

Elsewhere in the chat, the blokes shared a spicy theory about why Zoe really signed up for the show and it’s quite savage.

My Kitchen Rules airs on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
