Things took an ugly turn last night on The Block when tensions between contestants spilled over into a heated confrontation involving Chantel, Wyatt, Jolene and Courtney.
The drama began brewing after Rosco and Adam’s family members were allowed to stay at the already overcrowded contestant share house, prompting Chantel to raise concerns about the arrangement.
Chantel felt the other contestants should have been consulted before additional family members were invited to stay, particularly given nobody had even bothered to introduce them.
The situation eventually escalated to the point where Chantel approached production, explaining that the arrangement was making her uncomfortable.

Host Scotty Cam subsequently stepped in and informed both teams that their guests would need to leave, revealing that Chantel had raised the issue.
However, the decision didn’t go down well with Adam, who immediately began plotting his next move by threatening to revoke Chantel and Wyatt’s permission to use his property as an accessway to their garden.
“The only couples who don’t feel uncomfortable are the ones who have family members there,” Chantel pointed out.
But the share-house drama was far from over.
In an attempt to smooth things over, Lisa organised a group dinner, although Adam’s son, Chantel and Wyatt all opted not to attend.
That left Rick, Tayla, Courtney and Sev sitting down with Adam and Jolene, and things quickly became tense.
When Rick suggested Jolene would have been furious if he’d invited two mates to stay without telling anyone, Jolene brought up an incident from three weeks earlier involving Wyatt.

She alleged that Wyatt had intimidated her, prompting Courtney to jump to his defence.
“He didn’t stand over you, Jolene,” Courtney snapped. “That’s not what happened.”
Jolene wasn’t having it, firing back that Courtney had no right to dictate how another woman should feel.
The confrontation added another layer to the increasingly frosty relationship between the contestants, with Jolene also accusing Courtney and Sev of repeatedly copying her ideas.
Alongside installing a wine cellar similar to Jolene’s plans, the girls had allegedly copied their car detailing system, even telling the supplier that Jolene had referred them.
“I think the girls need to f**k off and get their own ideas,” Jolene fumed.
And with Courtney and Sev already feeling the financial pressure of their ambitious outdoor plans, the timing couldn’t be much worse.
“Now we just need to win the singing competition, score three tens and the $10,000 overall win, or we just have turf going in out the front,” Courtney explained.
The Block viewers divided over Wyatt, Jolene and Courtney drama
The latest The Block drama has certainly got viewers talking, with fans taking to Reddit to debate who’s really in the wrong in the increasingly messy feud.
In a thread titled ‘Share house drama’, one viewer questioned why Jolene was allowed to express feeling uncomfortable around Wyatt, while Chantel was seemingly criticised for raising concerns about having three additional men staying in an already cramped share house.
“I’m struggling to understand why Jolene can say she felt uncomfortable around Wyatt, he apologised, and he has since kept his distance from her, yet when Chantel says she’s uncomfortable having THREE extra men staying in a small house with ONE bathroom, suddenly she’s the bad guy?” they wrote.

Others agreed that the two situations weren’t necessarily comparable, pointing out that feeling uncomfortable doesn’t automatically mean someone feels physically threatened.
“A person can feel uncomfortable for many reasons and does not have to be an intimation/sexual/abuse etc reason (all valid reasons),” one commenter argued.
Another viewer suggested the issue was less about the extra guests themselves and more about the lack of consideration shown to the people already living in the house.
“Like everyone, I don’t think non-contestants should be staying at the house,” they wrote, adding that Jolene would likely have reacted very differently if one of Wyatt’s mates or Sev’s husband had moved in without consultation.
There was also plenty of criticism directed at Scotty Cam and production, with several viewers questioning why Chantel was named as the person who had raised the complaint.
One commenter argued that production should have taken responsibility for the decision rather than putting Chantel in the firing line.
“Scotty should have said there’s been a complaint and not name any names… very poorly handled IMO,” they wrote.
Another viewer was similarly unimpressed, suggesting Scotty should simply have told the contestants that additional family members weren’t permitted to stay in the share house.
“Scotty was unfair for leading his conversations with ‘Chantel is uncomfortable’. He should have just said the house is contestants only,” they commented.

Some also questioned why production had approved the arrangement in the first place, given the already limited space and the fact that the other contestants hadn’t been consulted.
But not everyone was convinced Chantel and the girls were entirely blameless.
One viewer suggested Courtney and Sev’s ongoing friction with Jolene, including accusations that they’d copied her design ideas, had contributed to the increasingly hostile atmosphere.
“I’m not excusing anyone’s bad behaviour but the girls haven’t stopped making comments towards Jolene the whole season, stealing her design ideas and stirring the pot so they have bought the drama upon themselves,” they wrote.
Courtney also received support from some viewers, particularly over her decision to challenge Jolene’s account of the alleged confrontation with Wyatt.
“I think Courtney was right calling out Jolene’s bullsh*t and it’s disgusting that she has been made to apologise,” one person commented.
Beyond the individual feuds, some fans were simply fed up with how much attention the contestants’ living arrangements were receiving, arguing that the share house was becoming a distraction from the renovation competition.
“I’m hoping future seasons do not bother with a share house,” one viewer wrote, pointing out that the contestants already had enough pressure without having to navigate communal living.
With accusations, hurt feelings and a few garden-access threats thrown into the mix, it seems The Block viewers are just as divided as the contestants themselves.
The Block airs Sunday – Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
