It was one of the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments from The Block 2026 finale, but fans have zeroed in on one of Tayla’s cheekiest comments, and they’re calling it the perfect mic-drop.
Over on Reddit, a fan shared a post titled “Tayla’s cheeky comment”, writing: “LMFAOOO I AM DEADDD did anyone else clock Tayla clapping back at Lisa when she comments on the girls making a bucket load of profit?? Tayla goes ‘lucky I’m friends with them’.”
The subtle dig quickly had viewers laughing, with many praising Tayla for delivering what they thought was one of the funniest moments of the season.

Another fan applauded Tayla for getting one over Lisa.

While Tayla divided opinion early in the competition, plenty of fans admitted she’d completely won them over by the end.
“Tayla cracks me up. She bugged me initially and I don’t think I’d want to work with her, but she’s grown on me a lot. The episode where Scotty went to shake her hand and she kissed it killed me,” a fan wrote.
Others said her willingness to fire back at anyone, including Scott Cam, made for great television.
“I also love that she fired back at Scotty after he said their auctioneer was 12,” someone added.
One fan even recalled another exchange from the finale.
“When Scotty said about Tayla’s auctioneer, ‘He looks 12. Sorry. 12 and a half. Does he know what he is doing?’, Tayla said to Scotty, ‘Excuse me! Shut your mouth!’. Tayla, always entertaining.”
