The Block 2026 finale is expected to air on Sunday, November 1, with the auctions reportedly scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 31.
While Channel Nine hasn’t officially confirmed the dates, realestate.com.au has reported that contestants are preparing for an October 31 auction.
The finale is expected to air at 7pm AEDT on Channel Nine and 9Now, although the broadcast time is yet to be officially confirmed.
When do we find out the results of The Block auction?
Unlike some reality television finales, The Block auctions aren’t broadcast live.
Typically, the properties go under the hammer on a Saturday, with the results kept secret until the finale airs on Sunday evening. This year’s five competing teams are Adam and Jolene, Chantel and Wyatt, Lisa and Rosco, Courtney and Sev, and Rick and Tayla.
The winner will be determined by which team makes the largest profit above their property’s reserve price, with an additional $100,000 awarded to the winner.
When did The Block grand finale air last year?
The Block 2025 finale aired on Sunday, October 26, on Channel Nine, with the auctions taking place the previous day.
The season was filmed in Daylesford, Victoria, where five teams renovated sweeping country properties. However, auction day delivered some devastating results, with two couples failing to sell their houses.
Who won The Block auction in 2025?
Western Australian police officers and couple, Britt and Taz, were crowned the winners of The Block 2025 after their Daylesford property sold for an impressive $3.41 million.
With a reserve of $2.99 million, the couple pocketed $420,000 in profit, plus the $100,000 winners’ bonus, bringing their total winnings to $520,000. Not too shabby!
Meanwhile, Sonny and Alicia earned $120,000, while Robby and Mat secured $109,999.10. Unfortunately, Emma and Ben and Han and Can walked away empty-handed after their properties were passed in at auction.
