Fresh off taking out The Block 2026, Courtney and Sev are still coming to terms with their life-changing win — and despite walking away with a huge cash prize, they admit they haven’t made many plans for the money just yet.
Speaking exclusively to Chattr after the finale, the pair revealed they’re still processing everything that’s happened over the past few days, with celebrations only just beginning.
The Block’s Courtney and Sev reveal how they’ll spend the prize money
While many The Block winners dream of luxury holidays or flashy purchases, Courtney said the pair’s first major decision was to give back.
“We haven’t even had time to process what’s actually happened to us,” she told Chattr exclusively.
“It’s just been family, friends, contestants — everyone’s been around us. We might finally get a bit of downtime tonight, crack open a nice bottle of pinot and start throwing around some ideas.
“But the first thing we did with the prize money was donate the $75,000 prize pool to the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity. That’s our first spend, and we’re really proud of that. Now it’s time to start making some other plans.”

They didn’t go on The Block to make money
Despite now having a sizeable windfall, Sev said the gals never entered the competition with financial goals in mind.
“Honestly, no, we didn’t have a plan,” she explained.
“We didn’t come on thinking, ‘Let’s make a buck and use it to catapult us into the next chapter’. We’d been trying to get on The Block for four years, so when we finally made it, we were completely focused on playing the game as hard as we could.”
Because of that, they never really thought about what life after the show would look like.
“We still haven’t,” she laughed.
“But I think Courtney and I have discovered we won’t kill each other in a high-pressure situation, and our relationship can definitely survive it. Maybe that means we’d make pretty good business partners.
“I’m sure there’ll be a venture here and there, but we honestly don’t know what that looks like yet. We need to catch our breath and figure out what you even do with this sort of money.”
