The Block 2026’s Lisa and Rosco have revealed the sex of their second baby, with the couple expecting a little boy.
The married couple are already parents to two-year-old son Lando, and during Wednesday night’s episode of The Block, they excitedly revealed their next little addition will be another boy.
The baby, affectionately nicknamed “Wombat” by his parents, is due in the coming weeks — meaning he could make his grand entrance around The Block’s Auction Day and finale.
But while the pregnancy has been a joyful one for Lisa and Rosco, the reality of finding out they were expecting while filming the notoriously gruelling renovation show was a little more complicated.
Lisa was alone when she discovered she was pregnant
In an exclusive interview with Chattr, Lisa revealed she was by herself when pregnancy was first raised during a doctor’s appointment after she became seriously unwell while filming.
“I had [started filming] The Block and I got really sick with pneumonia so I went to the doctor,” Lisa told Chattr exclusively.
“I was by myself and the doctor just said, ‘Oh look, you know you’re gonna need some steroids and some antibiotics. Any chance you’re pregnant?’”
The question came as a surprise to Lisa, who had previously assumed her symptoms were related to the chaos of relocating across the country and filming The Block.
As she told New Idea, she had been experiencing more car sickness than usual in the weeks before arriving in Mount Eliza, but pregnancy “didn’t cross my mind”.
Lisa ultimately took a pregnancy test, discovering she was around seven weeks pregnant.
The surprise news initially left Lisa and Rosco wondering whether they would even be able to continue competing, but production was supportive from the moment they found out.
In fact, host Scott Cam was the first person they told.
“I walked right up to him one day and said ‘Hey Scotty, guess what? I’m eating for two!’” Lisa previously recalled.
Rosco joked: “We’ve got an extra teammate now.”

Finding out she was pregnant was only the beginning of Lisa’s unusual experience on The Block.
With the couple under enormous time pressure to complete their house, Rosco simply couldn’t get away from site to accompany Lisa to her medical appointments.
Lisa told Chattr that she would have to return from appointments and fill her husband in afterwards.
“Every appointment, I’d have to come back and tell him about it because he couldn’t come,” she said.
“We just didn’t have the time. And it was all on camera, so everyone knew at the same time he did.”
Lisa confirmed that she went to “every single” scan and pregnancy appointment by herself because they “couldn’t afford to have both” of them away from the site.
That included her ultrasounds and other pregnancy appointments.
“He missed a lot — I was solo. But it was for a good cause.”
