MAFS Australia 2024 will see its first set of gay grooms in the series and Victorian salesman Michael Felix is one of them.
Michael considers himself handsome, extroverted and sassy, according to his official MAFS bio. He’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in, and “will do anything for those he loves”.
Where is Mike from?
The 34-year-old grew up in a small town in Ohio in the United States of America, before moving to Australia in 2014. He now lives in Melbourne and works as a Senior Sales Advisor at Tesla in the city.
What is Mike looking for?
Michael’s been single for five years and says he is sick of the dating scene and ready to find something serious. While he can struggle with letting his walls down emotionally, he hopes to overcome this fear on MAFS Australia 2024.
The salesman is passionate about becoming a father and raising a family on his own. He credits his mum and close family ties to making him the man he is today.

Let’s hope that the third time’s a charm for Love Island Australia’sGeorgia and Nate who appear to have gotten back together again. That makes it not once, not twice, but three times.
Their most recent breakup was announced in early January when Nate confirmed their split with fans in an Instagram Q&A.
“Georgia and I are no longer together romantically,” he told his followers at the time.
“Needless to say we’ve got zero bad blood between us. I’ve got so much love and respect for her, I reckon she’s fun, she’s beautiful, she’s awesome, all of the above.”
However, that appears to have changed… again.
Love Island. Nine.
Nate shared a loved-up video of Georgia
Fast forward to Friday, January 25th and Nate casually (!?!) shared a video of himself and Georgia strolling down the street together arm in arm.
Even more tellingly, Nate added the song Just Lose It by Eminem. Now, Millenials will know that these lyrics go: “Guess who’s back, back again, Shady’s back, tell a friend”. Well, we’re pretty sure Georgia and Nate and back again, too.
BUT, that’s not all! One of Nate’s pals basically confirmed that the two were back together with his multiple comments on the clip.
“Call it a sequel,” he wrote, then followed that with: “#Callitacomeback”. Then, in a third comment, he wrote, “They back on”.
Nate and Georgia’s Love Island co-star Nakia summed up our exact thoughts in the comments section. “Bruh, I can’t keep up with u two,” she wrote.
Nakia, Nate and Georgia. Instagram.
When else did Nate and Georgia split?
Georgia and Nate were quite a solid couple while they were inside the Love Island villa, however, they did have a few squabbles about how much time they would be spending together once they were outside.
Shortly after the episode aired in which Georgia and Nate were kicked out of the villa (remember, it was pre-filmed), they revealed that they’d already broken up and got back together.
“After we left and got back to Sydney we tried to give it a go, but life was really hectic so we had a bit of a break,” Georgia told Nine Entertainment at the time.
She said that once the show started airing they started talking again and a flame was ignited.
“Our journey is definitely not finished, we’re definitely together,” she said.
“We just fit back like a glove – it was so easy.”
Soooo, they were together in the villa, got back together between filming and the show airing, and are now back together for a third time? What a ride.
Married At First Sight 2024 groom Collins Christian has completely skipped the step of having a relationship and will be marrying his MAFS bride with no prior relationship experience
Yup, Collins has never been in a relationship, which we guess, technically, means that whoever is paired with him on MAFS will be his first GF.
According to his MAFS bio, Collins had his heart broken by unrequited love once and finds himself regularly sitting in the friend zone with potential romantic interests.
Collins and friends. Instagram.
Where is Collins from?
Collins was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia after his parents relocated from Zambia. Upon arriving in Australia, his accountant father and pharmacist mother had to work hard to make ends meet.
“International degrees mean nothing, so it took some time for my folks to get back into their professions,” he told Draw Your Box. “During that time [after migrating], they needed money. With two young kids in a completely new country and away from everything they know, Mum and Dad had to resort to other ways of making money by working at McDonald’s – both as kitchen hands.
Collins with his sister as a child. Instagram.
At age 14 he and his family relocated to Perth.
“Saying this now gets me a bit emotional to realise and remind myself how much my folks have done for me and my sis,” says Collins. “They always said, ‘Our ceiling is your platform. Now go out and get it!’ Be someone. Aim so high!
After filming of MAFS wrapped late last year, Collins moved to Sydney.

Survivor Australia 2024 castaway Nathan Freeman made no secret of his vendetta against Jess Danaher.
Fortunately for him, she was booted off at the second tribal council, in a close vote which saw her just one ahead of Nathan to leave.
In one particularly stunning scene, Nathan called Jess an “easy kill”.
“Jess is lovely but I just feel like she’s a bit, not irrelevant, but I think she’s an easy kill,” he said in a producer-led interview.
During an interview with Chattr, Jess said she was shocked when she watched the show back and heard Nathan’s negative comments about her.
“He made a few comments that I thought were pretty harsh,” she said. “It was mean and I’m not a nasty person.”
Nathan and Jess on Survivor. Ten.
Jess thinks Nathan unfairly targetted her
In episode one, Jess was part of a charge that targeted Frankie, and Jess told Nathan that it was because she was one of the “strong women”. Little did she know, Frankie and Nathan had formed a strong alliance.
At the second tribal council, Jess explained that she wanted to shift the power away from the physically strong contenders leading the votes.
During in our chat, Jess explained that none of the moves she made in the game of Survivor were personal, and instead, she focussed on strategy.
“I put votes on Frankie from a position of her strength and power, and the same with Eden. It wasn’t going: “I don’t like Eden because blah blah.” It was because of Eden’s attributes that make him a strong contender, these are the reasons I think he should go.”
Jess said that she felt Nathan turning against her, and him speaking poorly of her to the camera, was upsetting to see.
“I was disappointed. But, if that’s Nathan’s personality to put people down, then that’s on Nathan. Some of the bitchy comments [he said] or to take things out of context, then that’s on him. I can only control how I come across and I came across, I’d like to think, as a person who doesn’t put people down and says it how it is.”

The second Survivor Australia 2024 Tribal Council was one for the books, as Jonathan LaPaglia put it: “if that was a simple vote, I can’t wait for a hard one!”
We saw Eden enter Tribal completely flustered about having his name thrown around, while Jayden and Nathan were out for blood after the previous elimination of their mate Frankie.
Jaden, Frankie and Nathan on Survivor. Ten.
But, it was Jess who pulled the most stunning moves at the firepit; she took responsibility for voting out Frankie, a move that would most certainly get a target pinned on her back by the ‘physical alliance’.
However, during an interview with Chattr, Jess revealed exactly why she owned up to Frankie’s eviction, and explained that she was backed into a corner by the other tribe mates in a scene viewers didn’t see.
“There’s a little bit more to that than comes across,” she said. “Before I do own up for Frankie’s eviction, Viola has actually yelled at me for putting her name up.”
Jess explained that the tribe was collectively speaking about the fact that a lot of names were in the mix to be voted off at the second Tribal Council. She said things took a sudden turn when she said she’d heard two names but had “thought of one consistently”.
“She [Viola] turns to me and just accuses me of lying and being a hypocrite. And this doesn’t make the edit because there are no videos of me ever saying that. It comes really out of left field, so someone lied to her about that.”
The Titans Tribe on Survivor. Ten.
“Val was also thinking I’d done that as well. And I tell her the truth, and exactly where my conversations have been.”
Jess said once she started telling the truth, she felt like she couldn’t cover anything else, or it would invalidate the honest things she’d already cleared up.
“By the time that second person making accusations comes around, which is Nathan, of course, I’m going to say, “Yes I did that and I own that”. If I start lying, then Viola will think maybe I did do that and that will completely take away any truth that I’ve said.
“Then Eden said well you said mine [his name], and I said, “Yeah I did!”. So I’m fighting fires on every side,” she laughed.
Jess’s final Tribal Council. Ten.
Jess thought her tribemates might value her honesty
At that point, Jess said that her strategy to stay in the game was to pitch honesty and hope that her fellow castaways would appreciate her trustworthiness.
“I’ve started this integrity, truth-telling front by being over the top transparent about myself without throwing anyone under the bus, maybe they will see value in having a tribemate around that told you their thinking about as opposed to someone who lied to you.
“I pretty much make that pitch, that this is the decision you will now make, what do you value in a tribe mate? Someone who you know where they stand because they’ll tell you.”
Unfortunately for Jess, her tribemates didn’t lap up her pitch and she was voted out with one vote to Eden, four votes to Nathan and five votes to her.
Jess doubles down that it was her who put together the plan to vote out Frankie
In episode two of Survivor, viewers see Mark take credit for floating the idea of Frankie’s elimination, which was successful at the first Tribal.
However, in episode one, it is Jess who heads to Eden and Mark and suggests voting out one of the strong physical three, Nathan, Jess or Jayden.
Jess stands firm that it was her idea, not Mark’s, to get rid of Frankie.
Mark and Jess. Ten.
“I definitely took it to Mark and Eden and I knew that they’d think it was their idea if it ever came down to talking about resumes they would pull it up as one of their own,” she said.
The doctor said that she specifically sought out Mark to get him on board with the plan.
“Mark, I knew he had a lot of influence over other players, so pitching to them and getting them on board was my way of enforcing that. I thought that I could get the tribe on side with the vote that I wanted without having to go and show everybody that that’s what I’m doing. I could get other people to do that convincing for me.”

The appearance of 2023 groom Mitch Eynaud on Married At First Sight 2024 surprised some viewers until it was revealed that he was this year’s groom Jayden Eynaud’s brother.
Mitch was ‘married’ to Ella Ding on MAFS 2023 and the couple were fan favourites for most of the season. They made it through all of the Commitment Ceremonies but unfortunately didn’t make it to the Final Vows.
Jayden is set to follow in his brother’s footsteps and tie the knot on MAFS 2023. A quick glance through his Instagram account shows that he shares a close relationship with his older bro.
Mitch and Jayden’s relationship
Mitch is older than Jayden by a year and both brothers share a passion for sports.
Jayden is a professional kickboxer and he’s v-e-r-y passionate about it, Mitch occasionally his hand at the sport, too.
“The big bro weighed in, fighting tomorrow night in Melbourne,” Jayden captioned a photo of Mitch.
As you can see in the photos above, the brothers do share a resemblance, physically. However, according to Jayden’s MAFS bio, they’re quite different personality-wise.
“Brother to Mitch Eynaud (MAFS Season 9), Jayden insists the pair are nothing alike. Focused, disciplined and obsessive, Jayden’s busy schedule sees him working around the clock. Professional kickboxer by day and security guard by night, his work has always been his priority, with little time for love,” his bio reads.

If you know anything about the infamous Scandoval affair, then you’ve probably been counting the days until season 11 of Vanderpump Rules drops.
Of course, Ariana Maddix and the gang are from America, and the reality TV show is released in the United States. However, we Aussies have the opportunity to stream it at basically the same time as our northern counterparts. Woohoo!
Vanderpump Rules. Hayu.
How to watch Vanderpump Rules season 11 in Australia
The long-awaited premiere drops premiere Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 8 p.m. ET in North America. Of course, in Australia, we’re ahead of the US timewise.
So, although we’ll be getting the episode around the same time as the US, it will drop in Australia on January 31 on Hayu.
Is there a trailer?
There sure is!
Who’s in season 11 of VPR?
Most of the crew is coming back, and we’ll see Ariana Maddix, Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay and James Kennedy among the cast.
Unfortunately, (solely for drama’s sake), Raquel Leviss won’t be back this season.
What is Scandoval?
For the uninitiated, Scandoval is the nickname for an affair between cast members Racquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval.
Sandoval and Ariana dated for nine years. They own a house together and Ariana froze her eggs because Sandoval wanted a family.
Tom and Ariana. WWHL.
Racquel dated fellow cast member James Kennedy for five years and the two were engaged but broke up in December 2021. Ariana and Racquel were close friends.
In March last year, Ariana found an explicit video from Racquel on Sandoval’s phone and discovered that the pair had been having an affair. Season 11 will explore the fallout.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 will premiere on Hayu on Wednesday, 31 January.
Victorian MAFS bride Tori Adams knows what she wants in a romantic partner, and it turns out that list is pretty long.
According to her official Married At First Sight bio, Tori needs her partner to have the following qualities:
Masculine
Alpha-male
Fit
Career-focused
Driven
Tidy
Emotionally intelligent
A good communicator
Whew.
Tori is a proudly independent woman who says she doesn’t need a man, but she’d like to find one if he can check all her boxes. Shecalls herself a “bulldog” who claims she doesn’t “do compromise”.
While Tori’s list may be detailed, she also identified her shortcomings, saying she can be high maintenance and a stickler for control.
What does Tori do for work?
Tori is a business development manager at a motor vehicle group in Victoria.
“I am a hardworking, tenacious, honest individual. I am able to work independently in busy environments and also within a team setting. I am outgoing and tactful, and am able to listen effectively when solving problems,” her LinkedIn bio reads.

“[Jack] told Jono to put a muzzle on his wife,” a show insider told the publication. ‘It was shocking and disgusting. All the experts were appalled.”
Why is Jack a love rat?
According to Daily Mail Australia, Jack dumped his girlfriend at the time, Courtney, when he found out he was being cast on MAFS Australia 2024. The publication reported that Jack told the woman that he was “moving overseas” for work.
When photos leaked online of Jack and his MAFS bride Tori Adamsexchanging vows, his ex was allegedly left “reeling”.
“‘Breaks up with me right after I met his family and he told me he loves me. Tells me it’s for [a] ‘work opportunity in America’ only to find out he’s on MAFS in Sydney,’ Courtney wrote on The Wash‘s Instagram picture of the wedding.
In another comment, she wrote: “When someone tells you they love you, introduces you to their family, lies to you saying they are going America ‘for a work opportunity’ only to find out they broke your heart to be on MAFS.”
“I even started selling my furniture when we were together as we spoke about moving in together. This is definitely the worst thing a man has ever done to me. I’d been driving myself crazy for a month wondering why everything was so shady [when he ended it],” she said.
What does Jack do for a job?
Considering his cheese-grater abs, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Jack is a personal trainer.
He loves sharing a selfie on IG to show off her hard work. See Exhibit A:
Unlike some of the other MAFS Australia 2024 brides and grooms, Timothy Smith apparently doesn’t have a list of requirements he’s looking for in his partner.
While Timothy has no set physical type, his ideal match “needs to be a genuinely good person, with a flexible, fun nature”, according to his official MAFS bio.
Timothy is looking for a genuine kind of love, which would mean he and his bride would put each other first.
“He would love to find love, he is ready to take care of someone, and in return, have someone take care of him,” his bio reads.
What prompted Timothy to go on MAFS?
Sadly, Timothy’s father recently died, and the loss made him realise that he is lonely and craves the support, love and emotional connection of a partner.
The 51-year-old’s last relationship ended six years ago and he “wants to feel butterflies and excitement” again.
What’s Timothy like?
In one word? Loud!
The business owner says that he has the “gift of the gab” and calls himself Peter Pan. The phrase refers to those who don’t want to grow up, and want to live without the worries of adulthood.
Timothy is “social and outgoing, he likes to live every day to its fullest, leaving nothing on the table.”

She’s also shown whipping out a big list of qualities she’s looking for in a man (not too dissimilar from Jesse’s infamous list of icks, TBH).
So, who is Lucinda Light?
What is Lucinda’s job?
Lucinda works as an MC, celebrant and creative producer. Her Instagram page has hundreds of beautiful photos of the happy couples she’s married over the years.
“Lucinda loves working with event concepts, creatively producing beyond the brief and delivering outstandingly on the day,” her website reads. “She will guide you through the process and manage all the details so your event shines!”
“With a theatrical arts training background and expertise as a storyteller, Lucinda is a natural born frontwoman. Lucinda Light has MC skills that bring events to life, with a blend of entertainment and interactive audience experience.”
How old is Lucinda?
Lucinda is 43 years old.
Where does Lucinda live?
Lucinda lives in Victoria but announced on Instagram that she’s moving to Sydney in a few weeks. Considering that MAFS filming is wrapped, could she be moving for her husband?
“I’m currently in Victoria & moving to sunny Sydney beginning of March. I’m taking enquiries & would love to MC your party too,” the MAFS 2024 bride wrote on Instagram.
Lucinda regularly travels around Australia to run various events.
Who does Lucinda marry on MAFS?
Daily Mail Australia has reported that Lucinda will be paired with Melbourne real estate agent Timothy Smith. This could also explain why she’s moving away from Victoria! Buckle up for some more drama on MAFS 2024.
Survivor Australia 2024 castaway Eden Porter is a self-confessed “pop culture aficionado” and a huge Survivor superfan.
He’s joined the Titans and has one goal in mind; to shake things up! Although he’d already formed some bonds in episode one with stronger members of his team, he wasn’t content with voting for an “easy option”. Instead, he helped instigate a tirade against the strong players, and poor Frankie was the first casualty.
So, who is Eden Porter?
Survivor. Ten.
Eden’s connection to former Survivor player George Mladenov
Eden has a connection to one of Australia’s most memorable Survivor players of all time, George Mladenov. George competed on Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn and Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains.
In December – over a month before the new season had started – Eden shared a photo of a New York Times article that called George “one of the most telegenic antagonists of any version of the show”. Eden didn’t caption the pic, however, they didn’t stop George from commenting.
“I expect you to be in the NY Times in 12 months,” he commented.

What do Eden do for work?
39-year-old Eden is an area manager in the cinemas and looks after eleven different cinema sites.
“I’m there to oversee everything and make sure the customer service is at a very high standard and all the sites are delivering what they expect,” he says in his Survivor bio video.
Eden chose to work in the movie industry because he loves stories.
“I’m a storyteller, that’s what I do,” he said. “I run a really fine line between being entertaining, and being annoying.”
Is Eden married?
Eden has been married to his wife Rachel Gill for just over two years.
In January he shared a photo from their wedding and penned an adorable message to her to celebrate their second anniversary.
“I need to take a moment to celebrate the amazing woman that allowed me to live out my dream while holding down the fort at home with Phoenix. I get to have a loved one visit everyday when I am with you. I am so lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for a wonderful first 2 years of marriage and I can’t wait for our next adventure together,” it reads.
The premiere episode of Survivor Australia 2024 packed some serious punches, with the Main Character of the night FrankieGuascoine being voted off at Tribal Council via a blindside.
Though Frankie may be gone, During an interview with Chattr, she listed who she believes will be the new George Mladenov, Shonee Bowtell and Luke Toki this season – big characters whose names will be remembered for seasons to come.
“There’s some really big players on there. I feel like there’s some really big fans of the show and they wanted to pull some news early and get the game going,” she said.
Survivor. Ten.
Who did Frankie list as the most memorable players to come this year?
Frankie was quick to name Jaden Laing from the Titans side as one to watch this season.
“I think that even the ones that don’t look like they do have quite big personalities, but Jaden is gonna give you guys a laugh. He’s a funny guy he’s got some great one-liners,” she said.
The business owner went on to explain why she called Valeria Sizovathe ‘Russian Killer’ and said she was another one to look out for.
“Valeria, she’s got some stories that were just making you laugh. I called her the Russian killer because she was telling me how she wrestled a wolf once! You guys are in for a ride.”
Lastly, she shared a cryptic warning about former AFL playerNathan Freeman.
“Nathan’s a legend, he’s so funny… Don’t underestimate Nathan.”
Survivor. Ten.
Frankie thinks it was a “silly” move getting rid of her so early
As fans of Survivor will know, the contestants are whittled away until there’s a final three. At the finale, that trio needs to prove themselves in front of the jury, which is made of former contestants, and they vote for the winner.
The slogan for Survivor is Outwit, Outplay and Outlast, so big moves – like getting rid of strong players – are usually looked favourable upon by the jury.
It goes without saying that Frankie is physically strong, and has a big personality. So, had a castaway made the bold move to blindside her later in the game, it would have likely helped them more in the end.
Survivor. Ten.
“I think it was a silly move,” she said of being voted off. “Because how are you going to claim that later when half the rebels didn’t know me and how we claim that later, if you’re like ‘I was the one who got rid of Frankie’ and they’re like ‘Who?'”
“It’s a big move playing big moves at the beginning, with 46 days to go, now you’re going to have to hide.”

The Survivor franchise has produced some absolutely iconic showmances, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that a couple have already popped up in the Survivor Australia 2024 premiere episode.
But, the plot thickens because one of the castaways who may have struck up a romance appears to be in a long-term relationship.
We can thank Feras from the Rebels for shining some light on the romance heating up the camp after dark. During the episode, he shared a running commentary about who was snuggling up to who under the palm fronds.
The naughty sandwich cuddles with Alex and Peter. Ten.
So, who was cuddling on the first night of Survivor?
There were two new sets of couples on the Rebels team during the premiere episode of Survivor. The first lot was Tobias and Sarah. If you’re having trouble but a name to face, don’t worry, we got you!
TobiasSarah
But, it sounded as though Tobias and Sarah’s snuggle time was PG compared to another pair.
“It was very, very comfortable for a first-day sandwich,” Feras said of their dalliance. “The first sandwich is always quite an innocent sandwich … this sandwich wasn’t very innocent.”
The second sandwich Feras was referring to was Alex and Peter.

Alex appears to be in a long-term relationship
Alex’s Instagram account is littered with pictures of loved-up photos of himself and his girlfriend, Mae, who he appears to have been dating for about a year.

What’s even more awkward, is that Mae shared a story last night showing herself a watch party for the episode and she tagged Alex in it. Eek.

Season two of the iconic star-making series Australian Idol kicked off with a show-stealing audition which left judge Kyle Sandilands in tears.
Dylan Wright, a 30-year-old father of two from New South Wales, captivated the audience with his remarkable acoustic rendition of the iconic Aussie ballad Better Be Home Soon by Crowded House which he dedicated to his late mother.
The outstanding performance earned him one of the four coveted Golden Tickets of the night, setting an awe-inspiring standard for the rest of the competition.
“That was so beautiful. I don’t usually cry in the presence of other men, but what a sweetheart you are. I loved it,” Kyle told him.
Meanwhile, Amy Shark called Dylan a “freaking superstar”.
“Amy agreed, saying: “I think you are a freaking superstar! “That was such a great performance. You’ve got everything: a kind heart, a great performer, and you’ve got a look.”

Crikey jeepers! Somebody give me a fork to stick into my eye because Married at First Sight 2024 just delivered possibly the most f**ked up best man speech of all time!
While it was no doubt excellent content and great for the mems, the speech came hot off the explosive tea that sent Tim Calwell’s new bride SaraMesa into cardiac arrest. Not only did we all collectively discover that he was cheated on by his ex of SIX YEARS, but he was going to propose to her “this year” before he revealed that he broke up with her only SIX MONTHS BEFORE FILMING. Mate. QUÉ FUQ?!

Unfortunately, there was nowhere for Sara to escape given she was aboard the good ship Starship — the infamous vessel — nay, the rite of passage — where every year 11 student was allowed an unofficial school formal in Sydney. Instead, she was forced to walk precisely two metres away before having to turn around and tell him that she was nobody’s ~bAd PaNcAke~.
Firstly, fair and secondly…RUN.
But as one does when recapping the absolute chaos and debauchery that is this already doomed relationship, we digress and it’s time to introduce BEN, who made things a hell of a lot worse.
Ben, Tim’s best man. Married at First Sight, Nine
Ben’s Best Man speech
“I was not surprised when I heard Tim was partaking in this experiment,” Ben began, “Because Tim is a man of science… “
Ben then began to rattle off the following “experiments”.
“Experiment 551. Romance at high speed. Is it road-head safe?”
“Experiment 552. Is it okay to get head in the ER since you crashed your car and you’re here now anyway?”
“Experiment 759. Love at first sight through beer goggles.”
“Talk to Tim after this speech if you want the results of these experiments,” he said.
After a montage of more of the same, Ben decided to tell a story.
“Experiment 381: Tim had the idea to pack his own lunch during a four-day Music Festival in the middle of an Australian summer. On the very last day, we sat in awe as he devoured rancid four-day-old chicken.
“So, here we are. Experiment 865, I mean Sara,” he said, before referring to his mate. “He is a wonderful human who radiates charisma like the sun.
“And Sarah? You can find solace in the fact, rancid or not, Tim will still eat you.”

Strap in because it’s officially MAFS season and there’s a whole bunch of juicy rumours floating around about what will go down on season ten of the popular reality TV show.
We know you’re here for the goss. So, without any further ado let’s get into it, shall we?
Lauren and Sara, in particular, will be bringing the d-r-a-m-a.
Sara. Instagram.
“They aren’t afraid of confrontation and were often praised by producers for making the show,” a source told the publication.
MAFS executive producer Mollie Harwood backed up the tidbit.
“Lauren just said exactly what she was thinking at all times, and that’s all we can ask for – genuine reactions and responses,” she told the publication.
“We don’t want a filtered response. We don’t want filtered people, and Lauren understood that.”
There will be another revenge porn scandal
One of the grooms will allegedly be involved in a revenge porn scandal, with Daily Mail Australia reporting that he’ll face backlash for sharing intimate snaps of an ex at a gym.
John Aiken echoed that sentiment when he told the publication that this season will be largely based on trust.
“I often think loose lips sink ships,’ he told Daily Mail Australia. ‘In this series, people often air dirty laundry when they shouldn’t and there are consequences to that.”
MAFS. Nine.
There will be a cheating scandal
It’s almost impossible to remember a recent season of MAFSwithout a cheating scandal, and, apparently, that won’t be changing this year, either.
Daily Mail Australia has reported that there will be a bride on MAFS 2024 that explores her options.
“The cheating scandal only came out because [someone] decided to betray their friend in an attempt to bring in some drama,” a source cryptically told the publication.

Viewers can expect a whole lot of drama at the Dinner Parties
This year’s cast apparently got the memo when it comes to creating drama at the dinner parties. A MAFS producer told the publication that the dinner parties wrapped in record time.
In the past, it’s been well-reported that dinner parties run all night, and they often continue until the producers get the level of drama that they’re looking for from the participants.
Married At First Sight alum Melinda Wills has teased that a huge chunk of the MAFS 2024 cast is going to be villains.
During an appearance on Hit Network’s The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G, the season nine bride said that she’s certain that MAFS 2024 will be juicy.
“I know that this season is going to take it to the next level,” she said. “I’m so excited, I’ve got my popcorn ready!”
“I have heard on the grapevine that this year there’s not one or two villains, there’s six of them!”

Don’t expect too much gossip to be leaked by the participants
In previous years, MAFS brides and grooms have been rather loose-lipped with the media and divulged secrets that weren’t shown on TV.
However, Melinda believes that production won’t allow that to happen this year.
“I’ve heard they really tightened the ship this time,” she said. “I’m not sure if this is correct but people from The Bachelor say that they get paid. They get paid like $5,000 to not leak anything and they get paid that at the end of the airtime.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if MAFS put something like that in and if not, I think they should.”

Melinda on the iron clad MAFS contracts
During the interview, Melinda (rather ironically) spoke about the contracts that the MAFS participants have to sign before they start filming.
“You’ll get an email and it will threaten obviously, ‘our legal proceedings,’ and like the contracts are very very strict. There’s no way around them.”
“I think one of the first paragraphs was something about like they own us, they own everything now. Our voice, our name our face, everything.”
Melinda opened up and where she and Leighton stand
Melinda and LeightonMills were matched on MAFS 2023, and were one of only two couples to stay together at the end.

While the couple dated for a while after the show, they called it quits late last year.
“We split up in October, I think we were together just over 12 months because the show is pre-filmed,” she said.
“We do not sadly keep in contact at the present.”
Married at First Sight 2024 premieres at 7:30pm on January 29th on Channel Nine and 9Now.
Lynne McGranger has played Irene Roberts on Home and Away for over three decades, and in a shocking move, she’s revealed that she’ll be stepping away from the role.
Lynne will be performing in the musical The Grandparents Club which will tour Australia from May until August this year.
During an interview on The Morning Show on Monday, Lynne revealed that she’ll be stepping away from Home and Away for “just a little while” to concentrate on the new gig.
“(I’ll be going for) just a little while — not leaving anything permanently,” Lynne said.
However, Home and Away fans needn’t fear, because Lynne will be returning to her role of Irene after she’s finished with The Grandparents Club.

Lynne McGranger has a background in musicals
Though Lynne may have played Irene for as long as many people can remember, her roots are actually in musicals.
“I came from revue-type situations (shows) — from community theatre, all of that — I’m getting back to my roots, singing and dancing, interacting with the audience,” she said.
Lynne was modest about her singing abilities, telling hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies that she “can hold a tune and I can belt-out a number, but I’m no Aretha Franklin,” she said.

What is The Grandparents Club about?
The Grandparents Club is a 90-minute musical written by Australian comedy legend Wendy Harmer. Along with Lynne, it also stars Jimmy Bigelow, Meredith O’Reilly and Andrew James.
The storyline follows a group of grandparents and challenges the idea that older people can’t be fun.
“Four of us turn up at the club for the day, and we have a day in the club. They have a club in the club called the Grandparents Club and there’s a sauna, there’s a gym, spa, there’s bingo, there is trivia. It is a way of taking the mickey out of what people perceive grandparents to be,” she said.
“Which is, of course, old and doddery, but in fact, grandparents can be in their 40s these days, bungee jumping or climbing Everest.”
The Grandparents Club runs from 31st May to 4th August 2024 across venues in metro and regional NSW, ACT and VIC. You can find out more information here.
