Chelsea Handler opened the 2023 Critics Choice Awards the only way she knows how — with a jab at Prince Harry’s “todger”.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, the Duke of Sussex has been doing the media rounds, promoting his new book Spare.
In said book, Meghan Markle’s husband revealed that not only is he circumcised but that he once had a frostbitten penis, which he quickly rectified with a dab of Elizabeth Arden cream.
While the news was undoubtedly TMI, it certainly made headlines worldwide, and now, Chelsea has taken the opportunity to bring it up once more.
During the January 15 (PSTD) awards ceremony, the comedian revealed that Dahmer became the third-highest-viewed show on Netflix, with a combined watch time of 1 billion hours.
“…Which, apparently, is the same amount of time we’re going to have to listen to Prince Harry talk about his frostbitten penis. It’s enough already,” she joked.

Elsewhere in her opening monologue, Chelsea gave the Golden Globe 2023 winning (Jeremy Allen White) show The Bear a nod, rounding out the noms with an EPIC jab at James Corden.
She explained how the show gave a “gruelling” look at the restaurant industry — a huge feat, without having to “wait on James Corden.” OUCH!
Of course, this was a reference to when The Late Night host was blasted in October 2022 for bad behaviour towards servers.
Then the Chelsea, Lately host roasted Ellen DeGeneres by comparing Cate Blanchett’s Lydia Tár to the former daytime host.
“In Tár, Cate portrayed an iconic lesbian whose career is upended by her toxic behaviour,” she said. “And she didn’t even have to host her own daytime talk show.” HA!
Chelsea Handler also mentioned the Don’t Worry Darling saga and Nick Cannon
“It is an honour to be your host tonight after everything we have all been through together over the past few years between COVID, monkeypox, and the Don’t Worry Darling press tour. It’s been a lot,” she said before mentioning how Viola Davis was given a DNA test to determine the best workout regimen for her genetic makeup.
“Which also, coincidentally, revealed that she is Nick Cannon’s daughter.”
