Married at First Sight Australia 2023 bride, Sandy Jawanda has never been in a serious relationship.
Growing up as an Indian woman born in Australia, Sandy’s parents were very strict in upholding the traditional values of Indian culture.
Even though she is 36, she has had limited exposure to the opposite sex.
Due to her upbringing, she was not allowed to mix with boys and had no male friends. She even went to an all-girls school and achieved a Bachelor of Nursing among predominantly female peers.

“Diversity is an important thing in casting, and there’s really been a shift over the last few seasons,” he said.
“The inclusion of Sandy was very important to us; we have someone like her represent her community and in the show, and not just her ethnicity, but her story.”

Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom Jesse Burford is emotional and, well, brutally honest.
In fact, before the tenth season premiered on January 30, the 30-year-old marriage celebrant had already copped some serious heat after Nine released a promo of Jesse and his “list” of “turn-offs”.
“Addicted to their phone. Motivational quotes. Vanilla, basic, boring. Don’t listen. LISTEN!! Don’t even let you speak. Star sign chicks,” he said.

“Drama queens. Chicks who pout. Any girl who starts a sentence with ‘honey’, ‘sweetie’, ‘Oh, my God. Babe!’. Next, no, thank you. Mirror selfies.”
Even though his list of demands is long, more shockingly, all Jesse “really wants “is a chance to be loved” and honey, sweetie, darling. You ain’t making it easy!
Breaking down at his faux marriage ceremony, he says: “I don’t know where love has been hiding all these years, and I don’t know what more I can do to make my light any easier.”
Who Is Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Jesse Burford?
Even though Jesse was in a heavy metal band, his day job sees him marry loved-up couples as a marriage celebrant.
The Perth local — whose style aesthetic is that of a rock star — has officiated over 500 weddings; however, he feels that the constant level of love and commitment leaves him wanting that for himself.
According to his official Nine bio, Jesse has had two serious relationships which grew from an instant connection, so his expectations of finding that spark again are high.

As we’ve already seen, the MAFS groom is VERY fussy when it comes to choosing partners, meaning he gets “the ick” pretty quickly; however, he is hoping to take the plunge in the experiment in the hope that love can flourish regardless.
During the premiere, Bronte’s bestie Jessica Tomlinson revealed that ol’ mate Harry had been dating “her friend” just days before they wed, leaving the bride positively reeling.

An insider revealed that Harrison and Abby’s relationship was “blown of of proportion”
Speaking to the outlet, a friend of Harrison’s said the whole ordeal had been “blown out of proportion” because apparently, she was just one fo the many he was chatting to on the apps before the show.
“The whole thing was blown out of proportion,” the insider said. “Jess wanted her five minutes of fame and exaggerated the nature of Harrison’s relationship with Abby to get time in front of the camera.
“Harrison and Abby knew each other for no more than a month and a half.”
According to the well-placed mouthpiece, there was “nothing serious” between the pair and he “didn’t promise to wait for her”. Awkies.
Furthermore, Harrison had told Abby that if things didn’t pan out between him and his new bride, they may be able to rekindle things in the future.
The same outlet also released WhatsApp messages which showed the young Bachelorette messaging about Harrison with pics of him packing for MAFS, texts about how he invited her out to meet “his kid” and how he “wants to talk when he gets back”.

We’re feeling Overload(ed) with the news that British pop group, Sugababes, will be headlining the 2023 Sydney Mardi Gras in February.
Announced by News.com.au, the OG founding members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Beuna and Siobhan Donaghy, will head down under to perform their hit songs, which we hope includes Hugh Grant’s unofficial anthem Jump For My Love!
During an interview with the outlet, the three women admitted that they had a huge fan base in Oz, and even said that during a tour of the UK last year, “It felt like every third person had flown in from Australia.”

“I knew we had fans (in Australia), but I’m still excited – when we announced the tour, I thought ‘Let’s find out if people actually know who we are!” Buchanan said.
The band — which has had a complicated history — has had seven albums and three different line-up changes after the initial group split in 2011.
They then reformed a year later under the name MKS, i.e. Mutya Keisha Siobhán, due to the fact they were unable to legally use their OG moniker.
After a lengthy legal battle to claim the right to their name, the band finally released an album in December 2022, The Lost Tapes — one they had intended to drop a decade earlier.
Now, they will headline the Sydney Mardi Gras Party on February 25 as part of the city’s World Pride celebrations, and we absolutely LOVE this for them.

In season two, she played a mere supporting character while it followed Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his love story with Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).

This year, 10 new brides and 10 new grooms will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.
During an interview with Mediaweek, executive producers Tara McWilliams and expert John Aiken touched on the 2023 casting process.
When asked if anything had changed about how they looked for for the new season, McWilliams admitted they hadn’t really adjusted anything, only that they looked for people who are “different from the previous season”.
With Aiken saying there was a myriad of factors that go into finding the right people.
“Diversity, age, culture comes into it all,” Aiken said.

Australian Survivor 2023 is back with loyalty, honour, mateship, and a brand-new filming location.
In 2021’s Brains V Brawn, COVID restrictions meant that the show was filmed right here in Far North Queensland; however, this year, we’ve headed back overseas to stunning Samoa.
During an interview with Mediaweek, Tim Ali — the show’s executive producer — admitted that the team “couldn’t wait to get back” to the island — the show’s birthplace.
“It’s one of the hardest environments to play the game. We thought the Outback was going to be hard, but we soon realised that Samoa is just as hard, if not harder, for a whole different range of reasons,” he said.
While the cast were excited for the comeback, they realised “it was probably tougher” due to the “intense heat and humidity during the day and really, really cold nights.”
“But the thing about Samoa is everything that there’s so much moisture in the air, it’s really wet. That really bogs everything down – clothes don’t dry, and it’s hard to make fire. So it was just a whole new range of struggle.”

The Bachelors Australia 2023 drew to a close on January 29 and after the shortest season ever, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would drop down on one knee during the finale.
But now that’s it’s all over, our three Bachelors — Thomas Malucelli, Jed McIntosh and Felix Von Hofe have all chosen their final ladies, surprising us all in the process.
So, who did our most eclectic bunch of Bachie babes choose during The Bachelor Australia 2023 finale?
Felix Von Hofe
Felix’ final ladies: Jess and Abigail
Arguably the most controversial Bachelor this season, Felix’ journey has been a ride to say the least.
The 32-year-old openly snogged ladies in front of…well, his other ladies and then freaked out over Jess Navin’s other boyfriend Damien Kelly.
Damien even appeared in the final episode, with Jess telling him she was closing “that chapter” on him.
Felix Von Hofe.
Felix’ final pick: Jess
During the finale, Felix was visibly nervous before Abigail, who is truly too good for him, arrived first i.e. was about to be dumped.
Speaking to her, he said: “The only constant throughout this entire chaotic journey has been you. You’re pure, funny, smart, beautiful… but I’ve been searching and searching for something…and I don’t think I’ve found her.”
Later, talking to the producers he said: “The one I’ve really been feeling for, there’s a huge elephant in the room and she’s got a boyfriend. I don’t think I’m ready for that.
“I think there’s still the option that I don’t make a choice here,” and PLEASE GOD NO.
Then Jessica arrived.
“Remember how nervous you were,” he said to Jess, reflecting on their first date.
“We’ve been through so much and I’ve had to make so many compromises and my fundamental beliefs have been questioned and then I met the parents.
“That relationship with Damien was right there in front of me.”
Jessica then explained that she had ended it with her other boyfie.
“I know that’s hard for you,” he said. “You make me feel so special. You really do. You make me feel so special.”
“Love is all about taking a risk and there’s no one else I’d rather take that risk for then you.
“Kiss me like you’re single,” Felix said and… there are no words.

Jed McIntosh
Jed’s final ladies: Angela and Alesia
Jed began his journey being rejected by someone he was vibing with during the first few dates causing him to become salty AF.
However, after getting over the hurt, he then chose his contenders including Tash Candyce — who was clearly on the show for air time.
However, after rejecting her return to the show (after ceremoniously leaving the Bach Pad), he was down to his final two — Angela and Alesia.
Jed McIntosh.
Jed’s final pick: Alesia
In the most Jed ending possible, he met the girls at a church, ultimately choosing the one he wanted to marry.
Before choosing Alesia, Jed brutally dumped Angela, telling her he couldn’t move forward with her because he didn’t think she could handle his life as a musician.
Since they’d had a conversation about his travels prior, she understandably felt “blindsided”.
However, after she left, Alesia joined him where he was ready to propose, even though she had explicitly said she wasn’t ready for a proposal.
“I missed you a lot,” he told her.
“Honestly, from the very first moment I met you, I came into that date and I didn’t know what to expect,” he said before adding:”I’ve completely fallen in love with you and I’ve never felt the way I have about you in my life.
“I have come here with a question,” he said, before dropping the knee.
“Oh my god,” she said.
“Alesia, will you marry me?”
“Oh my god, I don’t know what to say. F**k! Oh, f**k!”
Alesia was “thrown” by the proposal, before Jed gave her the ring anyway. LOL.
“I’ll put that on any finger you want as long as it’s not a proposal,” she said, before they made out for what felt like 55 minutes.
Jed proposed to Alesia, who turned his proposal down, but then said she would keep it. Source: Ten.
Thomas Malucelli
Thomas’ final ladies: Lauren and Leah
Thomas was by far the most emotionally available Bachelor in 2023, ready to meet the love of his life.
During the first dates, he was seen throwing roses left, right and centre.
Passionate and eager to find love, he threw himself into the ~JoUrNeY~, throwing caution to the wind.
Thomas Malucelli.
And when it came to the decision…
“I’m so sorry, you’re not the one,” Thomas told Lauren with the quickest goodbye and dumping ever.
Thomas’ pick: Leah
“It’s literally the moment I’ve been waiting for my entire life,” he said of Leah. before meeting her looking glam in red.
“When I first saw you my heart stopped for quite a long time. It’s been the most profound experience meeting you.
“I haven’t been in love in such a long time,” he said before thanking her for turning his “hope into reality”.
“You set me free,” she told him and then Thomas got down on one knee.
“I literally love everything about you,” he said. “I know that you’re the one.”
Convicted fraudster and inspiration behind Netflix’s Inventing Anna, Anna “Delvey” Sorokin, is adding reality TV star to her list of… umm accomplishments, all while under house arrest.
The subject of the hugely successful New York magazine story and former “Soho grifter” will star in the series in which she hosts dinner parties in her apartment.
According to a statement from the show’s producers, Butternut, the 32-year-old will host “celebrities, moguls and glitterati” in Manhattan for an unscripted series, Delvey’s Dinner Club (working title).

“There’s nothing like the experience of bringing together a curated group of friends to share life stories and enjoy a great culinary experience,” the convicted felon said in press release.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Wheelhouse and Butternut to bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey.”
Sorokin was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) detention in October 2022 after overstaying her visa.
Prior to this, she had completed a sentence for her 2019 conviction for attempted grand larceny and served nearly five years for ripping off approximately $200,000 from investors while posing as a fake heiress.
In 2022, her WILD story was turned into a Netflix series starring Golden Globe winner Julia Garner.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the new mum revealed that it had “always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other.”
“We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
Back in December, the Hilton heiress admitted that she and her husband — whom she married last year — had begun the IVF process during COVID.
“We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down,” she said.
“We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, ‘This is perfect timing. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,’ and we have tons of them just waiting.”
Back in April 2022, the 41-year-old gushed about being married on The Bellas Podcast.
“I love being married. I just feel like I finally found my perfect match and I just feel so safe,” she said.
“I finally have my home and I just can’t wait to start a family and have kids.”
