My Kitchen Rules 2023 Recap Episode 5: Nick and Christian’s disastrous dessert

It’s episode five of My Kitchen Rules 2023 and it’s time to head to Melbourne with housemates Nick and Christian.

They’ve been thinking about this day for a long time — mostly because they’re back in the city where you can get a glass of wine and a charcuterie board at any time — and also because they’ve worked in hospitality forever, so this should be good………

Nick (l) and Christian (r). Seven

Christian’s love language is food and reveals he’s a “master baster” 👀 while Nick just loves Rach, so there’s that.

Their Instant Restaurant 3181 is a tribute to the postcode that encapsulates all of Chapel St (“the cool part”) in Melbourne and will show a “little snippet into our lives as hospitality workers”.

And on the menu is Modern Australian cuisine.

Entrée

Kangaroo Tartare with Saltbush and Potato Crisps

Judging:

  • Coco turns her nose up at the whole dish; however, Radha and Prahba think “It’s beautiful”.
  • Claudean is surprisingly on board, saying the texture is “different”.
  • Manu called the dish “top-notch” and Colin said it had “classic tartare flavours” and that it was very “refined” and “clever”.
Seven

Main

Chargrilled Swordfish with a Jalapeño and Corn Salsa and Nduja Butter

  • Manu warned the boys that their fish needed to be cooked perfectly and it made them nervous.
  • While tasting, Coco acts as if she’s dying a slow death while Rach loves it, even though she didn’t get “that Jalapeño kick”.
  • Colin asks if they tried their dish all together and they say they didn’t. Manu was harsh on them given he has high expectations, saying they didn’t have enough seasoning. He also couldn’t understand why they started on the BBQ and then put it in the oven, saying there was no charred flavour.
Seven

Dessert

Sokolatopita with Orange Crème Fraîche

Judging

  • The boys struggle in the kitchen with their cake, having to cook it numerous times before Manu says their dessert “hasn’t finished your three-course meal well”.
  • Colin said the cake wasn’t cooked all the way through.

The Scoring

Guest Teams total score: 28

Manu

  • Entrée – 10
  • Main – 7
  • Dessert – 2

Colin

  • Entrée – 9
  • Main – 7
  • Desert – 3

Total Score: 38

Overall Score: 66

The Leaderboard

  • Radha and Prabha – 87
  • Tommy and Rach – 78
  • Sonia and Marcus – 71
  • Nick and Christian – 66
  • Coco and Pearls – 50

The drama

Claudean has had enough of Christian’s “wanky” chat and is ready for him to put the food where his mouth is while Coco and Pearls are feeling defeated over their sh**tshow of a cook.

Before even sitting down and still on her hate train, Claudean mocks Christian’s styling, saying he’s read “every single one of those encyclopedias from back-to-front” and then she sets her sights on Coco and Pearls, who argue…again.

Claudean really cannot help herself and it’s painful, yet entertaining, while Nick and Christian are probably just grateful she’s not thinking about them.

Coco and Pearls. Seven

Manu asks Claudean how they feel about going last, she says it’s like a “monster” where you are “chewed up and spat out”.

Coco and Pearls want to hold the “boys accountable” when judging, which is concerning considering Coco hates “fishy fish” but was also secretly plotting revenge so that they were not sent home.

The Block Recap Episode 23: Kristy and Brett continue to be awful and TBH we’re all over it

It’s episode 23 of The Block 2023 and if you can believe it, we’re halfway through the goddamn season and just like us at this time of year, all the Blockheads want to do it sleep.

For parents-of-two Kyle and Leslie, they are missing their kids like crazy and Kyle is full of emotion. As for Eliza and Liberty, they are also struggling because they’re still having major iss-ues with their builders.

Eliza and Liberty. Nine

Kristy and Brett continue to suck

Meanwhile, Kristy and Brett have decided that building is not the priority, being mean and messing with the other contestants is at the top of their list. Cool.

Kristy admitted she’s gotten more “savage” over the past few weeks and Brett said: “It’s nice to mess with people.”

In what is seriously becoming the most annoying storyline ever, Kristy continues to toy with Steph, now bringing up the fact that she thinks she and Brett should have beams in their master bedroom. Of course, this is STEPH’S AESTHETIC, goddamn it and understandably sends her into a spin.

Brett and Kristy. Nine

Given this series is…shock horror…about building, it seems the Blockheads know what they’re doing when it comes to the Master Bedrooms, which is bewildering considering all they really know is how to hate each other.

Once again, curves are on the menu as Leah and Ash decide on a curved ceiling, hoping it will set them apart from the other homes.

Finally, the teams put their differences aside…jokes…the divide on The Block continues as Leah and Ash and Kristy and Brett go up against Eliza and Liberty, Kyle and Leslie and Steph and Gian.

Weekly challenge

Unlike the dance battle (#neverforget), the weekly challenge involves something useful to their builds. Sort of.

Thanks to Ford, the Blockheads head to Lara near Geelong for a day of obstacle racing in their product placements.

Scott Cam and Shelley Craft. Nine

Kyle and Leslie take out the challenge which really upsets Kristy and Brett, who continue to be s**t. Since they (or their BFFs) didn’t win, they think the challenge is rigged and make it very clear to everyone.

Despite the childish drama that needs to end, Kyle and Leslie win $5000 and a much-needed gnome, however, everyone is P**SED as they head back to Charming Street.

Well then…

The Bachelorette Australia’s Charlie Newling has died, aged 36

Charlie Newling, who starred in Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette, has tragically died after his car plunged off a cliff on Saturday.

Newling’s car was reportedly found on fire at Raleigh Reserve in Dover Heights at the bottom of the 70-metre cliff.

Police and ambulance workers arrived at the scene at around 11pm on Saturday night after being contacted by local residents.

Newling’s partner Kristal Taylor gave birth to their daughter just eight weeks ago, which is Newling’s second child. He also has a 13-year-old son from a past relationship.

Newling was initially a frontrunner on The Bachelorette, but received criticism from fans for being too controlling of Ali, and was eliminated about halfway through. Shortly after his elimination aired, footage went viral of him wrestling a bouncer at Sydney pub The Golden Sheaf.

In September last year, he received a 13-month prison sentence for using a carriage service to make threats, which was served in the community. He was accused of sending multiple text messages to his mother, threatening to kill her boyfriend.

Con Girl tells the perplexing story of Australian serial con artist Samantha Azzopardi

Australian-born Samantha Azzopardi is a serial con artist with over 75 different aliases, and the true crime documentary Con Girl tells her perplexing story.

Azzopardi has committed crimes all over the world, and her crimes are bizarre, to say the least. She’s posed as a young victim of a trafficking ring who refused to talk, as well as a 15-year-old gymnast with a Russian background when she was actually 23. These are just two of Azzopardi’s huge list of cons.

Con Girl explores many of Azzopardi’s different aliases and crimes, and provides eyewitness accounts of her victims. It takes viewers on a gripping quest to find out who is the real Samantha and why she did what she did.

Con Girl. Seven.

Why is Samantha Azzopardi so well known?

Undoubtedly Azzopardi’s most high-profile con was her as ‘GPO girl’. She made international headlines in 2013 when she was found outside an Irish Post Office. She wouldn’t speak, but hand signalled to the police that she was 14 years old – earning her the GPO (general post office) girl nickname.

She was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital where a series of psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors and child welfare workers tried to figure out who she was to no avail. After communicating purely through drawings, it was assumed that the GPO girl was a victim of sex trafficking.

In a bid to find out who she was, the police asked the High Court for permission to release a grainy photo of the girl – who, at the time, was believed to be underage – and it was granted. When the photo was released to the media it was discovered that Azzopardi was an Australian woman who was actually 25.

Con Girl. Seven.

How can I watch Con Girl?

The intriguing true crime documentary will air over two nights starting Sunday, 17 September on Channel 7 and 7plus at 8:45pm.

Is there a trailer?

There is! You can watch it below.

Con Girl airs on September 17 on Channel 7 and 7plus at 8:45pm.

Interview: Osher Günsberg on the bats**t crazy secrecy behind the masks on The Masked Singer

They’re one of the best-kept secrets in Australian entertainment and host Osher Günsberg has revealed he’s just as in the dark as to who is under the masks on The Masked Singer Australia as we are!

Speaking to Chattr right before the fifth season’s premiere, the long-time host admitted that the unmasking is a huge surprise… even to him!

“I know who they all are now because we’ve shot it,” he admitted, “So I know all the answers, but I didn’t [during filming]. When the heads come off, I’m legitimately quite thrilled that it’s happening. It’s a genuine moment of surprise.”

Space Fairy. Ten

In terms of how they keep the celebs a secret, he joked: “It is so watertight and they won’t tell me what happens or how they do it because I will tell people he said of the secrecy behind the masks.”

He continued: “I just know that they show up in a mask and if it’s too big for them to walk onto the stage, they’re wearing like an Obi-Wan Kenobi kind of cloak but with a huge hood over the top with a panel that they can see out of.

“You can’t see in, you can’t see their hands. They wear gloves all the way down. You can’t see their body shape or whatever. And it’s only maybe five metres that I see that person walking by if I see them at all.”

Osher Günsberg on the “most surprising reveal ever”

In the lead-up to the September 11 launch we were fed a bevy of promos that said “Is this the most surprising reveal ever”?

When asked what they meant by that Günsberg said: “I don’t work in promos, mate, you’re gonna have to talk to those guys. I just show up, I do my bit and then I leave.”

He continued: “They’re not wrong. It’s an extraordinary season. Any relationship that you’re in, whether it be a friendship a romantic relationship or a relationship with the kids, it’s important that you grow and adapt and reinvent that relationship and refresh it, and make sure that it’s still meeting your needs for both of you.

“The same goes for our relationship with our audience. It’s super important to make sure you give enough of what it is that you came here for in the first place, but also enough to be like, here’s a little thing that you keep fresh now.”

Brian Austin Green as Crash Test Dummy. Ten

According to The Bachelors Australia host, “this is one of the most emotionally intense shows” he’s ever been a part of.

“That includes the one where people fall in love and get married and have lots of babies,” he joked. “It is such an extraordinarily emotional season because of who the people under the mask are and what they mean to us.”

Clarifying, he said: “If your super favourite — I can say it because he’s done the American one — say Taylor Hanson pops his head off. Suddenly, if you’re of a certain age, you are a teenager [again]. ‘Oh my god, I used to kiss that poster every night’, or if you’re another age, you might say, ‘Oh my god, I used to hate that band.’

“So it’s quite a powerful one.”

The Masked Singer Australia continues Monday at 7.30pm on 10 And 10 Play.

The Masked Singer Australia 2023 Recap Episode 1: A 90s heartthrob was revealed

It’s episode one of The Masked Singer Australia 2023 and our guessing panel — Abbie Chatfield, Chrissie Swan, Dave Hughes and Mel B — were back with their detective hats on!

Cow Girl

Song: Wannabe by the Spice Girls — with a back-up performance from Mel B.

Guesses: Jessica Origliasso, Kimbra, Pamela Anderson and Shania Twain

Clues:  “The one thing everyone believes about cows is that we’re vegan – you’d think we’d leave certain foods untouched. Of course, what you might not know about a Cow Girl is that we don’t like staying in one place, even when young. Obviously, I’m not in the same place I was born. Do I have a favourite location? Anywhere free! You know, pro bono! Is there anything else you need to know about me? Only that you don’t have to come first, but it’s nice when you do!”

Crash Test Dummy

Song: Stitches by Sean Mendes

Guesses: Niall Horan, Nick Carter, John Steffensen, Donnie Wahlberg

Clues: “As a Crash Test Dummy I’m used to being slammed… a lot! Of course, it could make you angry, make you burst into flames! But not me, I always manage. That’s because I’m always being watched intensely, there are cameras in every direction and when you live like I do you can have countless lives. In my life, I’ve learned everyone wants to take the gold but from the start, I was one step behind that. But I’m close to other colours too! Let me say one last thing, a Crash Test Dummy doesn’t travel far each time but it adds up to nearly a hundred thou and I like the sound of that!”

Space Fairy

Song: Hit ‘Em Up Style – Blu Cantrell

Guesses: Grimes, Raven-Symoné, Joss Stone, Sza

Clues:  “I’m the Space Fairy! Am I from a different planet? I’m certainly from a different world. Landing in Australia, was it love at first sight? There’s no drama in that, but it’s too much having a life dissected in minute detail. Hear that? The pitter-patter of tiny feet! You can probably tell this isn’t really my space, I prefer the sun. Somewhere filled with light! There’s no shame in that. Either way, there are so many lessons to be learned on earth, and if we learn from our mistakes I’m the smartest Fairy there is! Nowadays I’m always on.”

Q&A: Were you born overseas?

“I’m a Space Fairy, I was born and live in the waves travelling around the Earth.”

Space Fairy. Ten

Bad Avocado

Song: Better Days – Neiked & Mae Muller

Guesses: Martha Kalifatidis, Olivia Molly Rogers, Bindi Irwin, Ash Barty

Clues: ” I’m a Bad Avocado, so what? People treat me like they know me, that’s enough to brown off anyone! Y’know, most Avocados grew up with a lot of warmth and heat, I was a bit green when I came to attention. You’d think that would make me highly strung, but I know when to call it quits and just let it slide. Would you like a slice? Just look at it through my eyes, there’s a lot to unpack in someone’s life, so quit the judgment, okay? They reckon that time heals, we’ll see about that!”

Bad Avocado. Ten

Grim Reaper

Song: when the party’s over – Billie Eilish

Guesses: Ruel, Darren Hayes, Luke Steele, Conrad Sewell

Clues: “You call me the Grim Reaper… okay, maybe I started out Grim but now I actually enjoy life, it’s quite beautiful! Being the Grim Reaper has sudden highs and lows, for all of you of course. I come to lead your soul so you step into the light. My job never stops, no time off but millions of happy customers. It’s just about all I know! Being the Grim Reaper is a good life, it’s not bliss but it’s close to it.”

The Reveal

Hollywood heart-throb Brian Austin Green was revealed as Crash Test Dummy.

“You guys aren’t cut out for this job!” he joked after his unveiling.

“I’m turning 50 this year, I’ve had 50 years so far of an incredible life. I took a lot for granted though. I had a neurological issue come up in my life,” he said. “I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t say more than one word every 30 seconds. So, I’m at a place in my life where I’m just trying to say yes to everything and experience things. I really feel like this is the second part of my life.”

The Masked Singer Australia continues Monday at 7.30pm on 10 And 10 Play.

My Kitchen Rules 2023 Recap Episode 4: Coco and Pearls fail miserably, much to Claudean’s delight

It’s episode four of My Kitchen Rules 2023 and it’s time for Coco and Pearls to head into the kitchen and put their money where their mouths are.

In case you missed it, the pair had a huge argument in front of the other guests during Radha and Prahba’s instant restaurant, leading judges Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel to tell them to get their s**t together. Not only that, but Coco put the pressure on her friend, saying that they will get “10s” across all their dishes!

Now, the besties Coco and Pearls are putting their differences aside, hopefully wowing their guests with creativity and flair.

Their Instant Restaurant The Bougee Foodies is all about glam and sexiness and with a red carpet to greet their guests Claudean calls “it’s ‘”50 shades of bogan”. Ouch!

Entrée

Beetroot roses with goat cheese foam

Judging:

  • At first, Manu likes the idea of rose-shaped pasta, but warns of potential inconsistencies in the cooking of them. Unfortunately, the pasta is raw for the judges, who criticise that they are going for style over substance.
Seven

Main

Crispy pork belly, braised red cabbage & apple and mash

  • It was a stressful cook for Coco and Pearls but despite this, the judges are happy with the crispiness of the skin, and the braised red cabbage; however, note that the stress was evident.
Seven

Dessert

Coco Pearls

Judging

  • The tapioca-based dish is theatrical in its presentation, with the judges and guests blindfolded. However, it doesn’t take away from the fact that the dessert is far too sweet.
Seven

The Scoring

The Block Recap Episode 22: It’s giving “high school” — The Blockhead divide continues

It’s episode 22 of The Block 2023 and time to get started on the Master Bedroom and walk-in robes; however, trouble is brewing before the week even begins.

The divide between the houses is at an all-time high with Leah and Ash and Kristy and Brett on one side and Gian and Steph, Eliza and Liberty and Kyle and Leslie on the other.

The Blockhead divide. Nine

At the Domain Open For Inspections, the snipes continue from Leah and Ash and Kristy and Brett, mainly aimed at Steph. Shock horror.

Leah and Ash have decided they’re only giving negative feedback which is great (not) and seriously, we are done with this character arc.

Kristy and Leah believe that Steph needs constant ~vAliDaTiOn~; however, all Steph really wants is positive feedback given that she’s there to complete a house. This is The Block after all and not high school.

She tells Kristy and Brett — whom she thinks she has a relo with — that what she really wants is brutal honesty, something she gives, especially to Leah and Ash’s polarising winning living and dining space. Basically, she hates it. Lel.

Leah and Ash are given an extra reward

This week, the Blockheads are moving upstairs and Leah and Ash attempt to do a very bold curved ceiling.

During their winning getaway to Daylesford, they tell Scotty about their plans, who surprises them with $5000 from Arnott’s for getting a ten last week.

While they’re away, things are deteriorating for Eliza and Liberty and their builder Mark. Once again building in absolute chaos, Mark is annoyed that he’s not getting forward plans and some abrupt text messages are exchanged.

Eliza and Liberty. Nine

Eliza and Liberty are in chaos and Marty Fox comes for a visit

Even though it’s literally their job, Eliza and Liberty are not happy, thinking that Mark isn’t making that extra effort, because, as Eliza says, they are “zombies” who need need some help.

After another hard day of fighting with each other, Scotty puts on a BBQ with a surprise special guest, Marty Fox. Since the Blockheads hate his feedback, they’re none too pleased to see him; however, he is all smiles when visiting their spaces from last week.

Despite his BRUTAL feedback, Eliza and Liberty admit they actually like him and all is right in the world… until the next judging of course.

Alex Harper from Nashville’s surprising (and long-standing) connection to Selling The OC season 2

In the midst of the glorious mess of dramas, catfights and make-out sessions that made up Selling The OC season 2, we met Alex Harper from Nashville.

Harper – known on the show as Ali – was somewhat of a random addition. There were already a tonne of strong personalities amongst the agents, and Ali didn’t even live in California, let alone have a real estate license.

These factors left fans confused as to why a real estate agency as elite as The Oppenheim Group would randomly decide to hire her.

Well, as most things work in the entertainment industry, Ali’s hire seems to be a case of who you know, not what you know.

Selling The OC. Netflix.

What is Ali’s connection to Selling The OC?

While Ali may be a newbie when it comes to selling real estate, it’s not her first rodeo on reality TV.

Back in 2018, the thirty-year-old Nashville native starred in a show called Music City, which followed a group of aspiring young entertainers” who “pursue the ultimate superstardom in Nashville as they balance their career ambitions with love, everyday life and the connections they make along the way.”

Ali on Music City. CMT.

The Executive Producer of Music City was Adam Divello. Yes, the same Adam Divello who was behind The Hills and The City, and yep, you guessed it, Selling The OC.

Was Ali a plant to promote another Netflix TV show?

While there’s no debating the fact that Ali worked with Divello in the past, there’s another unconfirmed yet highly believable theory floating around the interwebs.

Some savvy Redditors believe that Ali was a production plant to promote a new Netflix show called Selling Nashville.

Selling The OC. Netflix.

The idea isn’t too out of left field. After all, we already have Selling Sunset, Selling The OC and Selling Tampa. And, there’s no debating that Nashville is one of the most up-and-coming cities in America with a whole lot of beautiful real estate.

Plus, Ali’s mum did mention that the property market is currently booming in the Tennessee capital. Food for thought…

The Traitors Recap Episode 9: Three players make worldwide game history during the finale

It’s the finale of The Traitors Australia 2023 and are our three remaining Traitors going to be so greedy that they leave the show with nothing?

It’s been a pretty clean run for OG Traitors Sam and Blake and their new recruit Camille. All three avoided elimination and entered the grand final with just two Faithfuls left, Sarah and Liam.

There was no ‘murder’ in tonight’s episode, so if the Traitors wanted to claim victory, they had to banish both Sarah and Liam.

The Challenge

The remaining constants were tasked with following a map drawn by host Roger Corser and navigating their way around a large outdoor area to find and collect hessian bags full of silver.

The Traitors. Ten.

They were successful at their mission and increased their total prize money to $208,000.

The Banishment

The lead-up to The Banishment was intense. Liam was convinced that Sam was a Traitor and openly declared that he would be voting to banish him.

Meanwhile, all three Traitors decided to stick together and vote out the two Faithfuls. But, Blake was plotting to backstab Sam.

The Traitors. Ten.

However, when it came to banishment time Liam tried to place the target on Sam’s back but he retaliated. In the end, Sarah confessed that her suspicions still lay with Liam, and the Traitors jumped on board, meaning that he was banished.

With three Traitors left and one Faithful, it was an easy decision for the majority to eliminate Sarah.

The Traitors. Ten.

After Sarah’s banishment, it was official that the Traitors had won the game. However, there was one twist left – the Traitor’s Dilemma. Each contestant had to decide whether they’d share or steal the $208,000 prize money. If one Traitor decides to steal, they keep all the money, if two choose to steal, they split the money, but if all three choose to steal, no one receives anything.

Staying true to their Traitor roles, Blake, Camille and Sam all secretly chose to steal the money, which meant that all left with… absolutely nothing!

The Voice Recap Episode 14: Three solo artists were given the chance of a lifetime with a shock decision

It’s episode 14 of The Voice Australia 2023 and superstar coaches Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo performed their new single Give You Love before the artists from Team Jason and Team Guy [Sebastian] went head-to-head in the Battle arena.

Each contestant was tasked with performing the same song in a duet, with one artist from each Battle eliminated, leaving three winners remaining.

One winner received a Semi-Final fast pass – sending them directly to the next stage – while the remaining Battle winners faced off in a Sing For Your Life.

Alex Jeans v Andrew Taylor Knight v Callum Warrender

Given Jason had broken the rules in the previous round, there was an epic three-way Battle between Callum Warrender, Alex Jeans and Andrew Taylor Knight, all with distinct voices. The trio performed You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban, leaving Jason requesting more time to decide his Battle winner.

When it came to the decision, Jason asked the three performers to create a supergroup.

“Separately, you are really unbelievable. Together as a group, you are unstoppable; so, my question to you is: will the three of you as a unit join me for the semi-final?”

Callum, Alex and Andrew took a moment to discuss the proposal; however, Callum said: “The offer is so incredible, and it just warms our hearts that you even think that is a possibility… but together we have decided that we are singular artists. We believe in ourselves. We believe in our artistry enough separately that one of us still deserves a spot in that Semi-Final.”

While shocked they turned the offer down, Jason sent a shocked Callum to the next round.

Ethan Beckton v Etienne Steven

Ethan Beckton secured a Semi-Final fast pass after he won his battle against Etienne Steven performing Ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine.

Charlie Pittman v Robbie Hunt

Charlie Pittman took on Robbie Hunt with an emotional performance of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars. The singers shared their vulnerability and grief, bonding over the recent loss of their fathers, earning a standing ovation with Charlie getting a fast pass to the Semi-Final.

Bella Mackenzie v Jaydean Miranda

Bella Mackenzie went up against Jaydeam Miranda performing Maren Morris’ The Bones.

“This is my shot to start off my career. I want to be that Australian touring artist playing stadiums all over the world,” she said.

Eliminated artists

The Block Recap Episode 21: All of the Living and Dining Rooms revealed

It’s episode 21 of The Block and time for the Living and Dining Room reveals. But before we dive into the epic reveals (and see if Kyle and Leslie were able to fit in their Christian Cole dining table), here’s what happened during the episode.

Trying to complete their living and dining spaces, Eliza and Liberty were in a world of pain given that their space was much bigger compared to the other Blockheads.

Getting barely any sleep, Eliza slept in the shower as she and her sister struggled with spray painting the room. And because Liberty also had zero sleep, Foreman Dan created a chauffeur driver alter-ego, Danielo, who drove her around to do her shopping.

Unsurprisingly, Kristy is p**sed about this revelation, believing the sisters are getting special treatment while floating the conspiracy that they are Channel 9 plants. Also, unsurprisingly, she tells Leah all about it. Cool.

Finally, Kyle and Leslie’s prayers have been answered and the biggest question on The Block is answered. They were able to fit their table! Yay. Except, they soon realised they had made a huge planning error. Oh. The pair realise they should have had a fully open living space and one wall needs to come down.

Somehow, all of the teams manage to finish and there are some spectacular results.

Room Reveals

Much to the delight of the Blockheads, Neale Whitaker is back as Marty Fox is off for the week.

Kyle and Leslie – $31,560

The judges think the room is far too tight and have noticed their planning issues. Neale calls the room a “beautifully styled disaster,” however, Darren loves the curves.

Leah and Ash – $38,209

The judges commended Leah and Ash for their bold and unique style; however, believe It will be polarising given Leah’s colourful and risk-taking style.

They call it an almost perfect room, despite concern about the size of the couch and the table.

Kristy and Brett – $23,325

The judges loved the Stoke fireplace saying the room is very functional, has a nice floor plan and is a good size.

They also love the plaster feature wall.

Steph and Gian – $31,739

The judges reserved judgment about the layout changes and said they would wait to see if the kitchen works out.

Shaynna and Darren thought the room was overstyled, as did Neale, but he also loved the feeling of both rooms.

Eliza and Liberty – $37,706

All three judges were impressed with the layout and loved how much space there was. They also thought this would be an advantage for them come auction day.

Scoring

Leah and Ash take out the win and Eliza and Liberty surprise themselves and come second.

Interview: “RuPaul loves Gabriella Labucci”: Hollywould on her RuPaul’s Drag Race elimination

It’s no secret that Hollywould Star has been a front-runner on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under season two.

Before episode seven, she’d never been in a Lip Sync Of Your Life, and she’d won on two challenges. So, when she was eliminated after falling into the bottom two with Gabriella Labucci it came as somewhat of a shock, especially to her.

During an interview with Chattr, the drag queen said that the head judge RuPaul has a soft spot for Gabriella Labucci.

“RuPaul loves Gabriella Labucci,” she said. “I’m not gonna lie and say that she hasn’t scraped through in some challenges and that several of her performances haven’t really been the best or at the same level as everyone else.”

“So I was quite shocked that she was pulled through, especially with my track record and what I brought to the competition,” she added.

Hollywould thought she was going to win RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under

Hollywould revealed that she thought she had the competition in the bag, so she was surprised that she was eliminated after her impressive Lip Sync Of Your Life performance.

“It was an out-of-body experience to hear that I was sent home,” she said.

“I was very shocked [to be eliminated]. Everyone saw my track record, I won two episodes and I was never at the bottom. I felt that I showed myself very well and I felt that I slayed the last lip sync as well.

“In that moment, I just still had to hold my professionalism and be proud of what I did on the show. I got a lot of airtime and sometimes it’s not all about winning. So I feel just grateful that I made it to the top four.”

Time to follow the drama! Where to find the entire cast of Selling the OC season 2 on Instagram

Buckle up, b**ches! It’s time to head back to Orange County with the season two cast of Netflix’s hit reality series, Selling the OC.

To recap, season one ended with Alexandra Jarvis and Alexandra Rose having a major fight with Kayla Cardona, Polly Brindle and Alexandra Hall after they claimed Cardona and Hall had been inappropriate with Tyler Stanaland while he was still married to Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow.

As we all know, Snow and Stanaland parted ways in 2022, just months after the show aired, no doubt the events that played out on screen had a major effect on their relationship.

Now, in the second instalment, once again, reputations, romances and relationships are on the line at The Oppenheim Group.

Stanaland is single, the Alexandras still hate each other, Cardona has adopted some serious balls of steel plus a whole other Alexandra has joined the fold! These young and hungry agents will risk everything while navigating a hot real estate market and even hotter rumours.

If you’re frothing on the drama (and believe us, you’ll be screaming ‘hook it to our veins’ after bingeing all eight eps), you’re going to want to follow it in real-time.

Here’s where to follow the cast of Selling the OC on Instagram.

Where do Selling the OC’s Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall stand now?

In season one of Selling The OC, Tyler Stanaland (you know, Brittany Snow’s ex) and Alex Hall repeatedly denied that there was anything going on between them.

However, regardless of their pleas, it was clear to viewers that there was *something* there.

So, now that Tyler and Brittany’s divorce is official, did the two reality stars end up getting together?

Where was their relationship at when season one ended?

It’s been over a year since Selling The OC season one was released, so if you’re having a bit of trouble remembering *exactly* what was going on between Alex and Tyler, here’s a refresher.

Tyler opened up about his separation from Brittany in season one, and he also addressed on camera that his co-star Kayla Cordona tried to kiss him twice.

While Alex and Tyler weren’t romantically involved on camera in the first season, they were suspiciously close in a number of scenes. There was one particular point where Alex say on Tyler’s lap and gave him her version of a ‘wet willy’.

Why are there rumours surrounding Alex and Tyler dating?

Tyler and Alex were pictured getting dinner together on the same day that Tyler and Brittany publicly announced that they were intending to get divorced.

“I think people really want to hold onto that idea that there’s something there between Tyler and I. I mean, at this point, we’re just friends, so there’s nothing more to it,” Tyler told People at the time.

Months later, Tyler and Alex went on a holiday to Dubai and posed for photos together at Nobu Dubai at Atlantis The Palm on Jan. 20, which was just one day after Brittany officially filed for divorce.

In a promo clip for the new season of Selling The OC, their co-star Brandi Marshall spoke about the rumours surrounding a relationship between Alex and Tyler.

“Polly was basically saying if you and Alex were in a relationship she would be fine with it, and I said I disagree,” Brandi told Tyler. “I don’t think that’s right because you’re going through a public divorce. Alex should not be anywhere attached to it. Your friendship can sometimes look too friendly.”

Tyler didn’t exactly deny the allegations in response.

“You don’t know where I’m at in my life. You don’t know my timeline. You don’t know my relational timeline,” he said.

Are Tyler and Alex together now?

You’ll just have to watch Selling The OC season two to find out!

Selling The OC season two airs on Netflix on September 8.
