Married at First Sight’s Ella Ding is engaged and the proposal was like something out of a rom-com.

Taking to Instagram on February 24, Ella revealed how a morning run with her now-fiancé Guy Palermo, when he got down on one knee and proposed.

“A morning run turned into a proposal … I SAID YES 💍,” she captioned the post.

The moment was captured by a group of her closest friends, who then joined in on the celebrations with flowers, champagne and balloons.

The gorgeous clip, which was filmed by various people and edited together, was accompanied by Shania Twain’s You’re Still the One. And of course, her MAFS co-star and Sit With Us Podcast co-host Domenica Calarco was there, and was VERY excited for the pair!

Back in April 2023, Ella went Instagram official with Guy by posting a photo of them outside a restaurant in Melbourne.

“Beautiful dinner. You’ll want to see the last photo,” she wrote, accompanying a carousel of pics. “I guess this is a hard launch.”

Later in a Q&A she wrote: “Normi and I have known each other for about six years. We have been friends for a really long time and we did actually date… but the timing was never in our favour.”

The pair then moved in together before buying a dog, Yuki.
