Below Deck gets a new captain, plus more exciting bombshells from BravoCon 2023

“Ship just got real"

Reality TV fans were in heaven when bombshell after bombshell was dropped at BravoCon in Las Vegas, including the announcement of a new captain for OG Below Deck.

Much to the dismay of many, it was announced at the convention that Captain Lee Rosbach wouldn’t be returning for the new season. Australian Captain Kerry Titheradge, who helmed the super yacht on Below Deck Adventure is taking his place.

“New captain, new rules,” flashed on screen during the trailer. “Ship just got real.”

“I know I have big shoes to fill, but I like it that way,” Kerry said in the clip. “You work hard, you’ll be rewarded. You f— around? I will f—ing turn in a heartbeat.”

Who’s in Below Deck season 11?

Only two former crew members are returning for the new season; chief stew Fraser Olender and lead deckhand Ben Willoughby.

The new crew members are chef Anthony Iracane, bosun Jared Woodin, deckhands Marie “Sunny” Marquis and Kyle Stillie, and stews Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 got a release date

Vanderpump Rules became a household name (as did Scandoval!) after the shocking affair between Tom Sandoval and Racquel Leviss played out in the final episode last season, as well as at the reunion.

Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the new season. The premiere date was announced as for January 2024 at BravoCon, and a short teaser trailer was shared.

What else was announced at BravoCon?

Renewals were announced for some of the most popular Bravo shows, including The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Down Under, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Summer House.

Below Deck, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Southern Hospitality, Summer House Martha’s Vineyard and Top Chef will also be returning for new seasons next year.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 and Below Deck season 11 will stream on Hayu.
