The Traitors Australia has officially returned to screens with a brand new host and a starry collection of celebrity castmates. The third season of the reality show premiered in early August, and one reality star was booted before the shenanigans could even begin.

As a refresher, The Traitors brings together 22 participants for a game of social deduction much like Mafia or Werewolf, against the backdrop of a castle where they all reside. The celebs are assigned as either Traitors or Faithfuls, with the first group working together to slowly banish or “murder” the Faithfuls without being detected.

This year brings a fresh twist with brand new host Gretel Killeen and castmates spanning basically every Aussie reality show under the sun, form The Real Housewives to Survivor, MasterChef and Big Brother.

Each episode, one person from the 22-strong cast will be eliminated by the Traitors, with others banished at the round table, en route to the grand prize of up to $250,000. Which brings us to the ultimate question: who has been eliminated from season three of The Traitors Australia so far?

Read on to find out everyone who has been murdered or banished so far!

Lawson Mahoney

Lawson Mahoney became another victim of the Faithfuls turning on their own when he was banished at the Round Table. Josh led the charge against the Made in Bondi star, convinced that Lawson was hiding something, and five of the seven remaining players voted him out. However, Lawson had the last laugh when he revealed that he was, in fact, a Faithful.

Rachael Evren

Rachael Evren became the next Faithful to be banished after a divided Round Table saw suspicion fall heavily on her and Lawson. Despite defending herself, Rachael couldn’t convince enough of the group that she was on their side and was ultimately sent packing. She revealed she was a Faithful on her way out, meaning the group had once again got it wrong.

Luke Packham

Luke Packham’s impressive Traitors run came to an end when he was forced into a brutal death match against his twin brother Josh. After the pair went head-to-head in a game of chance, Josh came out on top, and Luke was ‘murdered’. It was a huge win for the Traitors, considering Luke had already helped uncover two of them.

Claudia Bonifazio

Throughout Episode 8, the Packham twins teased that they had evidence pointing to the next Traitor, which they promised to reveal at the Round Table. However, in a twist no one saw coming, they revealed they were referring to their own ally, Claudia Bonifazio.

The twins immediately put a target on Claudia’s back, and the rest of the group quickly jumped on board, with Claudia receiving 10 votes.

Luke, who called Claudia “conniving” when he voted her out, was convinced he’d caught another Traitor and openly made smug remarks as she walked up to deliver her final speech. However, Claudia left him open-jawed when she revealed he’d got it very wrong.

“Of course everyone chooses to listen to the man, screw you all I’m a Faithful,” she said before storming out.

Alex Nation

Alex Nation crumbled under pressure when the Faithfuls began suspecting she was a Traitor in Episode 7, becoming the second Traitor to be banished after she all but confessed her status at the Round Table. Her downfall came after AJ revealed he knew she was a Traitor and tried to convince her to recruit him, putting a serious target on her back.

While Alex and Kirby quickly ‘murdered’ AJ to silence him, it wasn’t enough to save her game, with suspicion continuing to build around her. The Faithfuls ultimately banded together and voted Alex out, and an emotional Alex confirmed their suspicions by revealing she was a Traitor before leaving the mansion.

AJ Antonios

AJ Antonios may have been unofficially dubbed The Traitors mastermind after Episode 6, when he tried to team up with Alex in a Traitor-Faithful pair, but his bold gameplay came back to bite him when Kirby and Alex ‘murdered’ him that very same night.

“Dead, dead, dead. Murdered, I am so dumb,” AJ said upon finding his ‘murder’ letter. “Things like this mean that they got spooked, and if every time you get spooked, you make a rash move, I don’t think you’ll win. But who knows? Maybe they can prove me wrong. They’re the traitors, so they’ve got all the power in the game.”

Alvin Quah

Next up in the banishment line was Alvin Quah, who became the first Traitor to leave the game in a major win for the Faithfuls. It was a tense and very divided elimination process, with the MasterChef star attempting to shift suspicion onto Rhys and Lawson before Alex, a fellow Traitor, shockingly turned on her own and voted for Alvin to leave.

In an exclusive interview with Chattr, Alvin said he was blindsided by Alex’s manouvre but that he ultimately understood where it came from. “I was quite shocked that Alex put my name, but watching the episode, it all makes sense because there’s all this strategic gameplay happening around me,” he told us.

Rob Farnham

John Farnham’s son was sent packing after coming under scrutiny by the Traitors, who believed him to be one of the most dangerous players in the game. Rob saw his murder coming, saying in an exit interview that “disappointed” but “not surprised.” Better luck next time, Rob!

Gamble Breaux

The Real Housewives’ Gamble Breaux fell victim to a murder during a dramatic twist that saw her put on death row alongside Rhys, Claudia, and Rachael. The four players were made to complete a series of challenges to secure their place in the competition, with Rhys ultimately gaining a shield that protected him from elimination. After failing to save herself, the Traitors gave Gamble the boot.

Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson

Former Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson made no secret of his gameplay throughout his time on The Traitors, but the constant strategising — including with his secret LSD club — ultimately blew up in his face. When that exclusive group was exposed by Traitor Alex Nation, Dicko was voted out as the ringleader during a Round Table, amid fears from other players that he was a Traitor. Sayonara, Dicko!

Henry Nicholson

The Faithfuls got rid of another one of their own when they voted to eliminate Australian Survivor star Henry Nicholson. Henry correctly guessed that Kirby was one of the Traitors, but the Round Table quickly devolved as his attempts to rally the troops blew up in his face. Convinced he was too hell-bent in his gameplay, the cast voted Henry out of the mansion in another blow to the Faithfuls.

“I love everyone here; this experience has been the best experience… Biggest anti-climax ever, but I’m a Faithful,” Henry said before departing the mansion.

Cosima De Vito

Cosima’s elimination seemingly came out of nowhere, with one of the Packham twins accusing her of making a comment that sounded like she was a Traitor. Though the evidence wasn’t strong, the group banded together and she was eliminated by a landslide.

In an exclusive interview with Chattr, Cosima admitted that she felt really upset when most of the cast was gunning for her at the round table.

“Basically, they’re ganging up and bullying. That’s what they’re doing,” she told Chattr. “It was absolutely horrible, and I know you’re watching TV [and you think], ‘Oh, it’s just television’. But when you when you’re in that situation, it’s hard.”

Of course, Cosima revealed that she was a Faithful before exiting the room, leaving the remaining contestants devastated that they still hadn’t managed to uncover a Traitor.

Manaaki Hoepo

Faithful Manaaki came for the Traitors fast and hard, but his spot-on suspicions ultimately put a target on his back, leading to his ‘murder’ and elimination from the game.

Manaaki pinpointed that the Traitors must be among six specific people who witnessed his fight with Keira, and he was right, as Traitors Kirby, Alex and Alvin were all present. However, Manaaki didn’t have long to drive home his theory, as he was ‘murdered’ by the Traitors the same night he laid out his evidence.

Shane Gould

Shane’s place in The Traitors mansion was rocky from the get, since she put an early target on her back after brutally eliminating Cam Merchant in the very first episode. That target was fired-upon in the first round table, when the Olympian was grilled, mostly by Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, despite being a Faithful.

Kween Kong

Iconic drag queen and Drag Race Down Under star Kween Kong was the first celeb to be banished from the actual castle (a previous elimination took place on the outside grounds), with Traitors Alex, Alvin and Kirby choosing her as the debut murder victim. Kween Kong’s banishment came after she predicted early that Kirby might be a Traitor, making her a clear target for elimination.

Cam Merchant

Former Married At First Sight (MAFS) participant Cam Merchant was unfortunately the first to be sent packing from The Traitors mansion in the very first episode. Making matters worse, Cam was given the boot just 20 minutes into the season three premiere, after his co-star Shane Gould — who the cast dubbed ‘the most virtuous’ — was given an ultimatum of self-eliminating or evicting someone else.

Choosing the latter, Shane landed on Cam — who was told to “leave the mansion immediately.” He quite literally hadn’t even entered the manor and already his time on The Traitors. Peace out, Cam!

That’s the only elimination we’ve gotten so far in The Traitors’ third season, but with an eviction each episode, there’s plenty more where that came from.

The third season of Traitors Australia airs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:30pm on Network 10 and 10Play.
