The Traitors Australia 2026 is returning with a celebrity cast, a new host and another high-stakes game of deception, manipulation and… murder!
ICYMI: the brutal reality competition places contestants inside a secluded manor, where most are secretly designated as Faithfuls while a smaller group becomes the treacherous Traitors. Each night, the Traitors “murder” a player, while the rest gather at the Round Table to banish whoever they suspect is working against them.
The big kicker: the Faithfuls must expose every single Traitor to claim the cash prize of $250k, but any Traitor who survives to the finale can steal it for themselves. Sorry about it!
Take a look at the trailer for The Traitors Australia — we’re in for a season of reality TV chaos!
Originally created in the Netherlands, the format has become an international television phenomenon, spawning 40 local adaptations and particularly successful editions in the UK and US. Its mix of strategy, betrayal and psychological gameplay has turned the franchise into one of reality television’s biggest success stories.
The Traitors Australia has already aired two seasons, but the show has been absent for almost three years. Season three premieres on August 4, 2026, and the revival brings a major change with it. The 2026 season has only cast celebrities (previous seasons had normies in the mix) and original host, actor Rodger Corser, who led the first two seasons, has been replaced by former Big Brother Australia host Gretel Killeen, who will oversee the celebrity-filled blood bath.
But who are the potential Traitors and loyal Faithfuls? Without further ado….
