Kirby Bentley pulled off a huge The Traitors Australia 2026 win in a nail-biting finale, taking the entire $200,600 prize pot after surviving as an original Traitor from day one.
Kirby took down her fellow Traitor Rhys Nicholson, along with Faithfuls Krissy Marsh and Keira Maguire.
Despite Kirby trying to shift the heat to Krissy, Rhys was unanimously banished at the final Round Table, but crucially wasn’t required to reveal whether they were a Traitor. This left Kirby free to continue pretending the threat had been removed. At the fire pit, Krissy wanted to end the game, while Kirby and Keira elected to banish again. Their votes eliminated Krissy — another Faithful — leaving Kirby and Keira as the final two.
Keira then revealed herself as a Faithful, believing she had made it to the end safely. But Kirby then delivered the killer blow: “I have always been… a Traitor.” Chills!
After winning, Kirby admitted, “This game is hard… it’s so good not to lie anymore,” joking that she had nearly been banished “every single day.” She said the victory was “massive” for her family, the Aboriginal community and women, adding that the enormity of winning as the “OG Traitor” had not yet sunk in.
Chattr spoke to Kirby in an exclusive interview and she spilled all the updates you need to know about what happened after she swiped the prize money.

In a tense exchange, Rhys called out Kirby in the finale because she wrote their name down at the previous Round Table, which Rhys believed left them as a ‘sitting duck’ for banishment.
“It was an uncomfortable conversation in the moment, and I was exhausted. I was shattered, and I adore Rhys, I was connected [to them]. I still wanted to play the game with Rhys, but I was conflicted in choosing self-preservation,” Kirby said.
Kirby said that Rhys has since realised that she wasn’t quite the master manipulator in that moment. “We sat and we watched it together, and they’re like, ‘Ah, you were actually working with me’, and I was like, ‘Oh, I was trying!’, but I also respect that Rhys was firm on me because I was using them as a scapegoat if I needed it, and they knew that and they called it out.”
When asked what would have happened if Kirby and Rhys were the final two standing, Kirby said she planned to split the prize money. “I would have written share definitely,” she said.
She believes Rhys would have likely done the same. “I don’t think [they’d steal it]. But even if they did, I take this back to Survivor. I lost half a million dollars from Feras [Basal] playing an idol for himself, like he won it in an idol play. So you can’t hold grudges outside of the game when we all knew what we were getting ourselves into,” she said.
Kirby and Rhys have since put the game behind them. “I think we’re all good. We’ve all been all good for a year, so we’ve all talked to each other, talked it out, asked all the questions we’ve needed to ask.”
Kirby admits she was relieved to tell runner-up Keira that she was a Traitor. “I was so exhausted, it’s such a taxing game emotionally,” she said. “I’ve been the OG for the entire game, so I think I was feeling more relief than anything. I just need to say it. It just needs to be put out there.”
Now that the dust has settled, Kirby shares that there is no bad blood between them.
“Keira and I have always been solid, like all the cast has always been solid. We’ve definitely spoken about things or asked questions that we needed answers to, but for the most part, we’ve been on this journey together, and we’ve trauma-bonded.”

With a cool $200,600 prize pot to spend, Kirby says she’s making up for lost time after missing her sister’s wedding because she was still on Australian Survivor.
“I was blindsided the day of my sister’s wedding when I came out on Survivor, so I’ve given her money to pay for the wedding and given my mum some money,” she said.
“We’ve all got bills to pay, so I’ll just sort that out.”
Keira had a hilarious idea for one way Kirby could pay her back: a designer handbag worth upwards of $20,000. “She’s throwing the word Birkin out there, and I don’t even know how to spell it. We will have to talk about that,” Kirby joked.
“I do need to take her to dinner, though. I definitely will be wining and dining her for a night.”
