But, their new acquirement didn’t come cheap! According to Matthew Belloni’s Puck newsletter, the Disney CEO allegedly paid out over $US75 million ($114m) for the rights.

One of the messiest Survivor Australia Tribal Councils to ever take place in the history of the franchise saw firefighter Sarah Moore after her friend Rhi Bowley flipped her vote.
And, the lead-up to tribal was just as chaotic as the fire pit. In a post-elimination interview with Chattr, Sarah described just how wild the whole afternoon was.
“It was very, very stressful,” she said. “Especially because pretty much everyone was lying to me, and that’s how it had been for me the whole game, really.”
“Apart from the Viola vote, I was always on the wrong side of the vote,” she added. “So it had just gotten to a point where every single person on that island had lied to my face.”
Rhi, Sarah, Alex, Mark and Jaden at Tribal. Survivor. Ten.
Sarah explained why she was speaking to both sides of the alliance
In the episode, Mark had a secret plan to get vengeance for his friend Viola, who was voted out in Monday night’s episode, and he wanted to work with the three Rebels; Alex, Sarah and Rhi to do just that. His plan involved the four of them placing their votes on Caroline and using his idol to deflect the votes from him.
Meanwhile, both of the former Titan women told Caroline and Kitty about Mark’s plan, which put a spanner in the works. Caroline and Kitty were planning to vote with the rest of the original Titans and vote off Mark, alongside Rhi and Sarah.
Kitty and Caroline. Survivor. Ten.
However, that plan changed when Eden grew suss of Rhi and Sarah’s speeches at Tribal, and told his alliance to go for Sarah instead.
But that’s not the only chaos that went down, Rhi randomly flipped her vote to Mark, and Mark played his idol. That meant that his Idol was burned for no reason, and there were only three votes on Caroline and four votes on Sarah – leading her to a so-called “blindside”.
Looking back, Sarah said she felt betrayed that Kitty and Caroline turned against her, even though she voted for the former.
“I did [feel betrayed by Caroline] because I thought we had a genuine connection there,” she said. “I had built this relationship in connection with Kitty and Caroline, which I later found out was only really for one tribal.
Sarah. Survivor. Ten.
“We had multiple chats that you guys didn’t see on the screens where we spoke about being a strong girl Alliance like us for myself, Riri, Kitty, and Caroline, but turns out those chats were not genuine on their behalf. So that really sucks seeing that play out because I really liked those girls
“They were really sticking with their original Alliance from the Titans, which was quite boring, to be honest.”

Love Island Australia’s Lucinda Strafford has finally broken her silence on her split with Zac Nunns, and she’s cryptically hinted at infidelity.
The signs were there that the popular reality TV couple had split in the week prior to the official announcement and then on Monday, February 12th, Zac shared a text Instagram post confirming their breakup.
“Hey guys, just thought I’d let you know that Lucinda and I have decided to go our separate ways. I’m not feeling too good about the situation and appreciate all the support so far,” he wrote.
Lucinda and Zac met on Love Island Australia 2023, and continued dating outside the villa. After filming wrapped he spent time with her in the UK, and she visited him in Australia.
Love Island. Nine.
What did Lucinda say about the breakup?
Lucinda stayed quiet in the hours following Zac’s post, however, she’s since opened up about what happened on Snapchat Q&A.
A fan contacted her asking if she “was ok” and said she’d “heard the rumours”. Lucinda’s reply was interesting, to say the least.
“Hey guys! Thank you all for the support. I’ve decided to deal with things a little differently and keep myself to myself holding my head high,” she began.
The next part of the reply is where things get spicy.
“Thank you to everyone sending me pics/videos of things and having my back love you all xxx PS. when I feel like the time is right, I’ll speak more openly about the situation”.

Of course, many fans are wondering what photos and videos could be relevant to Zac and Lucinda’s split. Well, last month So Dramatic posted a video of Zac dancing topless at a club, which could well be the video she’s referring to.
Controversial cast mate Collins Christian left the MAFS 2024 experiment for the second – and presumably last – time on Monday night’s episode.
While the exit appeared to come about because his ‘wife’ Natalie Parham wanted to leave, reports suggest he was actually removed from the show.
On Sunday night’s episode, Natalie wrote ‘leave’ at the Commitment Ceremony and Collins wrote ‘stay’. As per the rules of the experiment, if one person in the relationship writes ‘stay’, then both parties must stay to work on the relationship for one more week. However, Natalie and Collins packed up and left the following night.
MAFS. Nine.
A source told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia that a MAFS insider said Collins was made to leave by production.
“The rules and premise of the show are irrelevant if they compromise a participant’s wellbeing or mental health, and ESA [producers Endemol Shine Australia] take their duty of care seriously,” the insider said.
“Natalie had already tried to quit at the first dinner party, but was talked into remaining until the first commitment ceremony to ‘see their storyline through’. When it then became apparent she would have to stay another week, bosses stepped in and removed her and Collins from the show as soon as they could wrap it up on camera,” they continued.
“The experiment is an emotional rollercoaster as it is, but factor in Natalie’s vulnerability from her lack of relationship experience prior to filming and the grief she was experiencing following her father’s very recent death and she was in no state to continue production.”
Chattr has reached out to Nine for comment.
MAFS. Nine.
What happened at the Commitment Ceremony?
During Natalie and Collin’s time on the couch with the experts, the groom stressed that he wanted to remain in the experiment with his bride.
However, when John Aiken asked Collins what he’d done to show his passion for making things work with Natalie, he struggled to answer the question.
Then, on Monday’s episode, Natalie told Collins that she believed everything he says is an act, and told him that she wanted to exit the experiment, which they did.

The Survivor Australia 2024 was originally made up of 24 castaways battling it out to become the sole survivor.
Those players were divided into two teams; Titans v Rebels.
“Titans are both physically intimidating and utterly ruthless, but they’ll need to be at their absolute best to take on the Rebels — a group of individuals who live life by a different set of rules,” streaming giant Paramount explained in a statement.
However, now that the game is really gearing up, there’s been a shake up and all of the remaining contestants had to grab buffs which gave them a 50/50 chance of switching to a new tribe. The results? There’s a new group of Rebels and Titans, check them out below.

How much exactly, you wonder? Well, we have the answers!
An anonymous participant toldDaily Telegraphthat they were paid $150 a day, and an additional $125 for food. If the contestants film a seven-day week, then they’ll be receiving $1925 a week.
Lauren. MAFS. Nine.
However, the same contestant told the publication that they weren’t allocated any money for their outfits or grooming.
“I am broke after having appeared on the show,” they said. “I couldn’t even make my rent payments with what we were being paid.
“We would film late so I would be ordering takeaway most nights. I spent a bomb on outfits, hair and make-up, and to top it off, they didn’t even let us wear what we wanted.”
“If someone was wearing the same colour as someone else, they would make you change.”
The MAFS participant said that the social media ban, which blocks the contestants from using their accounts, is an additional financial burden.
“And anyone who runs a business on Instagram is struggling because they can’t post anything.”
Eden and Jayden. MAFS. Nine.
How much were past MAFS participants paid?
Even though the current participant has complained about the amount they’re paid, it’s significantly more than in previous years.
Back in 2022, MAFS season 8 villain Olivia Frazer conducted an Instagram Q&A and was asked directly about the amount the participants were paid to be involved.
“You get paid $1100 weekly,” she responded.
Olivia Frazer. Instagram.
“Out of that you have to pay for your rent, bills, food, hair, make-up, outfits (so many outfits because producers need to approve). Plus during COVID we weren’t allowed in stores so we had to pay delivery fees for everything, which adds up.”
Olivia added, “I came out of it with next to nothing.”

Although Viola Jokudu was an original Titan on Survivor Australia, she’s got high praise for one of the Rebels and shared a secret of hers that wasn’t aired.
In a post-elimination interview with Chattr, Viola revealed that Aileen Chong actually turned on her original Rebel alliance, but the scene didn’t make it to TV.
Aileen is clearly tight with Feras, and is part of an alliance gunning for Kirby. However, Viola revealed that Aileen was originally teamed up with Kirby and Scotty. She said that Aileen actually ditched her alliance with Kirby and struck up a deal with Feras before the teams were switched up on Sunday night’s episode.
Aileen and Valeria. Survivor. Ten.
“For her to be with Kirby and Scotty, and then switch over once she released how interesting Kirby’s game was, and for her choice to go to Feras, again, that is a very switched-on player,” she said. “And I think for them to not show that I think is really poor and really sad. I think Aileen is phenomenal in her own way.”
Viola added that she thinks Aileen is doing a great job of flying under the radar at the moment.
“I think it’s very interesting how some people have just forgotten that Aileen would have been behind what would have been one of the most epic votes ever, and then she just sort of managed to sink back into the background”.
Viola on her relationship with Valeria
The sweet friendship between Viola and Valeria had fans shipping them, and, those viewers will be happy to know that they’re still great mates.
“Valeria is my wife. From early on we both recognised that we just got along so, so well and we’re both so similar and we’re both so savage as well in the funniest ways. My experience on Survivor was so much more funnier because she was there,” Viola said.
Valeria and Viola. Instagram.
“I think to have someone that is so funny that is also such a strategic player I think it’s absolutely amazing to know that my journey has ended but I’m still rooting hard for Val and Mark.”
Viola said that she and Valeria have been spending time together outside o the show.
“Valeria invited myself and Winna to one of her influencer events,” she said. “So I get to the influencer event and I hadn’t seen Valeria in a long time and I was like, “That’s what she looks like with makeup on?!” I’m like, ‘What!'”
“But it was so good to get to know them, both Winna and Val, in this chill sense, to have a few drinks, laugh with them, dance with them.
“Then me and [Valeria] met up again just last week, and we just went out dancing, and we were just living our best life. We forgot anyone else was there and we were just having the time of our lives.”

The 2024 Super Bowl Halftime show is done and dusted for another year, and – as expected – there were some bombshells during the 13-minute show.
Usher was the star of the show, however, he had some unexpected big names join him on stage. Find out everything that went down while Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Jay Z, Justin and Hayley Bieber, Blake Lively and Lana Del Rey watched on from the stands.

Only Usher was announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime show. This means that all of his guests; Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Will.I.Am, Lil John and Ludacris were the surprise inclusions!
After Justin Bieber was spotted entering the Super Bowl, there was speculation that he would be a surprise performer. However, unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and he stayed seated in the stands with his wife Hailey Bieber.
MAFS relationship expert John Aiken has spoken out about his savage showdown with Collins Christian at the Commitment Ceremony.
During Collins and Natalie Parham’s time on the couch, the groom stressed that he wanted to remain in the experiment with his bride. However, when John asked Collins what he’d done to show that he’s passionate about making things work with Natalie, he struggled to answer the question.
The response led John to call him out and resulted in one of the fieriest MAFS Commitment Ceremony segments ever.
MAFS. Nine.
What did John say about the confrontation with Collins?
“When I put it to him, what had he done over the time with Nat to build a connection – he simply had no words, and couldn’t answer it. He was exposed,” he told Nine Entertainment.
“I’ve been working with couples and singles for 30 years. I’ve seen all sorts of different situations, and so nothing throws me. I won’t take anything personally.”
John explained that he was simply trying to make Collins see his perspective on the relationship, and felt that he needed to be called out on his actions.
“What I am going to do is look for patterns, and hold a mirror up and shine a spotlight on the things I think they need to look at and give feedback on how to do better.”
“Ultimately, Collins was saying, ‘I can’t believe she wants to leave’ but at the same time he said he’d done nothing during the experiment to bring her close and make a connection.
“For me, I saw through what was going on. It’s my role to call out behaviour.”
Reflecting on the revelation, John said it was very “disappointing”.
“It’s very disappointing to us as experts, as there are so many people that want to come onto this experiment,” John said. “When we match people, they want them to be invested in finding love and for the duration to really have that focus.
“It muddies the water, [and] it means their focus isn’t entirely on their match. That can be a big obstacle and we’ve seen in past seasons it’s actually blown up couples.”

Love Island Australia love birds Lucinda Strafford and Zac Nunns have split up.
Zac confirmed the break up on Instagram. “Hey guys, just thought I’d let you know that Lucinda and I have decided to go our separate ways. I’m not feeling too good about the situation and appreciate all the support so far,” he wrote.
At the time of writing, Lucinda hadn’t publically acknowledged their split.
While Lucinda hasn’t yet confirmed their breakup on her own socials, she has dropped some telling clues including one in her latest TikTok video with Love Island All Stars contestant Hannah Elizabeth.
The former Islanders made a compilation video about things they’ve done that are on brand for them.
“I’m Lucinda, of course, i thought a long-distance relationship on the other side of the world would be smooth sailing,” she said in one of the clips, hinting at trouble in paradise.
Meanwhile, over on Instagram, a quick search of Lucinda and Zac’s accounts shows that they’ve unfollowed each other.

While Lucida’s comments section is flooded with questions about whether she and Zac have broken up, she’s decided to ignore them all, while still answering questions unrelated to him.
Trent spills the beans about Lucinda and Zac’s relationship
Love Island Australia 2023 contestant, and Zac’s bestie, Trent Woolman seemed to reference his break up with Lucinda on TikTok.
“We’re best friends, you’re going to ask me if you should move to the UK, and I’m going to tell you to f**k off,” Trent said with an angry gesture before Zac appeared in the clip.
Zac Nuns. TikTok.
In another video on his own page, Trent hinted at relationship troubles between Zac and Lucinda on January 25th.
“I’m passing the phone to someone who fell in love with a girl on the other side of the world and now I have to be his personal therapist,” Trent said before handing the phone to Zac.
Also, while we’re here can we please enjoy this clout-chasing comment from Trent?
Jack Dunkley’s ex Courtney Jade has shared more receipts of their time together, and taken aim at his onscreen wife Tori Adams, following the MAFS Commitment Ceremony episode.
In posts shared by MAFS Uncensored, Courtney took to her Instagram account straight after the show saying she was going to put her “armour on and fight a battle”.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the Jack drama on MAFS, here’s a little refresher. In August, Courtney saw leaked photos of Jack at his MAFS wedding and toldThe Wash that the groom had dumped her the previous month, saying that he was going to America for work.
Some of the other Married At First Sight participants saw the article online at the time and brought the issue up at the first dinner party. Jack admitted that he was seeing Courtney before the show, but made the relationship sound very casual, and basically passed it off as a friends-with-benefits type arrangement. You can find more details here.
Instagram. The Wash.
Fast forward to now, and Courtney is furious about how Jack allegedly downplays their past relationship and is firing back at him on Instagram.
What did Courtney say after the Commitment Ceremony?
Courtney shared four Instagram stories on Sunday night, following a segment with the experts where Jack talked about his relationship with her again.
Despite having never met Tori, Courtney took aim at her in one of the posts. At the Commitment Ceremony, it was revealed that Tori and Jack haven’t slept together yet, and he’s repeatedly revealed to the cameras that he’s not sexually attracted to his bride.
Courtney shared a photo of herself sitting on a bed with Jack’s arms wrapped around her and included a poll which read: “Does he look at Tori this way?”.
Instagram. MAFSUncensored.
In a second slide, Courtney said she has “every right to defend her character”.

In a third, she shared a photo of her and Jack’s Converse shoelaces tied together and bizarrely called out last year’s contestant Harrison Boon.

In a fourth story, Courtney threatened to continue calling out Jack and airing his dirty laundry online.

There’s a new mystery-thriller afoot as Aussie streaming service Binge prepares to release the Original series, High Country.
Starring award-winning actress Leah Purcell (Wentworth), the eight-part series will premiere with a double episode on Tuesday, March 19 2024, with new episodes dropping weekly.
Here’s everything we know!
Aaron Pedersen and Leah Purcell, High Country. Binge
What is High Country about?
High Country revolves around detective Andrea (Andie) Whitford (Purcell), who is transferred to the Victorian High Country and thrust into a baffling mystery of five missing persons who have vanished into the wilderness.
Through an edge-of-the-seat, high-stakes investigation, Andie uncovers a complex web involving murder, deceit, and revenge.
Who is in the cast?
Joining Purcell are internationally acclaimed actor Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones) plus actors Sara Wiseman (A Place to Call Home) and Aaron Pedersen (Mystery Road).
Ian McElhinney, High Country. Binge
Is there a trailer?
You bet! On February 12, Binge released a suspenseful long-form trailer that offered us a look into the remote and rarely-seen on-screen landscape. As the team behind the release said, it gives us a glimpse at “the people and their secrets who vanish without a trace along with the complex, intriguing characters that inhabit the high country, where the lost will be found.”
Who is the team behind High Country?
High Country is produced by Curio Pictures in association with Rage Media and was created by Marcia Gardner and John Ridley. Both also Executive Produce alongside Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner (Curio Pictures) and Lana Greenhalgh and Penny Win (Foxtel Group) with Producers Pino Amenta and SueEdwards.
You’re probably going to want to add some frankfurts and mac and cheese to your next grocery list because it’s almost time for America’s biggest sporting event of the year, the Super Bowl.
While watching the event is a quintessential American pastime, it’s so big that it’s got its own following here in Australia. Fortunately, it will be available live and free here in Aus.
While most years, the biggest musical acts perform centre stage, there’s hype that one of the biggest celebrities will be sitting in the audience in 2024. Pop princess Taylor Swift has famously been dating the Kansas City Chiefs player tight end Travis Kelce, and she’s attended multiple games this season.
Taylor and Travis. Instagram.
How to watch the Super Bowl LVIII
The 2024 Super Bowl will air live and free on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus from 10.00am AEDT on Monday, 12 February.
It will also be broadcast on KAYO and Foxtel on its ESPN channel.
Who’s performing?
Last year’s show-stopping half-time performance saw Rihanna announce her second pregnancy by revealing her belly during the show. With stakes that high, the bar has been set for the 2024 halftime performance.
This year, early noughties superstar Usher will be taking the stage. But he won’t be alone, he’ll be joined by Post Malone, Tiesto, Reba McIntire and Andra Day.
See below for when the Half-Time show starts.
12pm AEDT: ACT, New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria
The Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the San Francisco 49ers. Australian betting site Sportsbet has the Californian team pegged to win, with a return of $1.77 versus The Kansas City Chiefs odds of $2.10.
The Chiefs. Instagram.
Will Taylor Swift be there?
Of course, the question on every Swiftie’s mind is whether Taylor Swift will be there to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Taylor is currently in the middle of her worldwide Eras tour, so the schedule is tight – but not impossible.
She’s performing at Tokyo Dome on Saturday, February 10th, and the Super Bowl is on Sunday, February 11th.
The concert starts at 6pm (local Tokyo time) and her shows usually run for about three hours, which means she’ll wrap up at about 9pm local time, which is 4am, February 10th in Las Vegas.
The kick-off for the Super Bowl is 3:30pm local time on February 11th, giving Taylor almost a 36-hour gap between finishing her Tokyo show, and the beginning of the sporting event.
The flight time is around 12 hours without a stopover, and considering that Taylor has her own private jet, she can easily make it.
However, her next show is on February 16th in Melbourne. Victoria is 19 hours ahead of Las Vegas, and the travel time is around 17 hours.
Taylor Swift. Instagram.
It’s all very confusing but that means that if Taylor flew to Melbourne straight after the Super Bowl, she’d arrive in Melbourne at 7:30pm on Monday, February 12th.
TL;DR Yes, Taylor has enough time to get to the Super Bowl between her tour dates, especially if she uses her private jet.
Catch the Super Bowl LVIII on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus from 10.00am AEDT on Monday, 12 February.
MAFS 2024 has already been packed full of drama and the very first Commitment Ceremony of the season certainly kept up the trend.
There were fights with the experts, tear-inducing moments and confessions of intimacy (as the experts John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling like to call it).
So, let’s dive straight into the biggest bombshells of the night, shall we?
MAFS. Nine.
Cassandra and Tristan
In a heartbreaking moment, Tristan told Alessandra, John and Mel: “I hate myself”.
“I’m aware of it that I don’t like myself, and I don’t know how to change it,” he explained.
Tristan said he doesn’t like the way he looks, the way he sounds and or “lack of achievement”.
Alessandra asked him to tell her the things he loves about himself, and he couldn’t answer, but Cassandra said she likes that he’s thoughtful, patient, kinda, generous, absolutely hilarious and has a beautiful energy. Aww!

Lucinda and Timothy
The biggest bombshell between Lucinda and Timothy didn’t come during their time on the couch, instead, it came when Jack and Tori were talking to the experts.
After Tori admitted that she and Jack hadn’t slept together yet, her partner said it was a “slow burn” however, Timothy called that “bulls**t”.
Richard then jumped in and said that at the Buck’s Night Jack said he wouldn’t sleep with his bride on the first night, while Timothy said he would. Of course, Timothy and Lucinda haven’t been intimate yet, and the revelation had her looking like this:

Jack and Tori
As Lauren eloquently put it, “here we go”. Naturally, Jack was asked about his ex-girlfriend who went to the press and said he lied about going overseas and dumped her to go on MAFS.
John asked Jack how long ago he broke up with her, to which he responded “Seven to eight weeks”, before adding: “Or eight or nine”.
Daddy John made Jack confess that he was doing assessments with the experts while he was seeing his ex. The look on his face was truly satisfying. If looks could kill…

Sara and Tim
Sara and Tim were given a Confessions Week challenge to go through each other’s phones earlier in the week, and Sara flat-out refused.
When Sara was asked about it by Alessandra at the Commitment Ceremony, she launched into defensive mode and Tim admitted that Sara intimidates him.

In her typical style, chatterbox Lauren confirmed that she and Jonathan have had sex “the second the doors closed and the producers left”. Alessandra was overjoyed! Yay!

Eden and Jayden
Eden and Jayden sat down with the experts to talk about Jayden’s absolutely wild confession about sleeping with his cheating ex’s best friend in a revenge act. While his girlfriend watched.
It was awkies to say the least, although Timothy managed to have a good chuckle about it.

Natalie and Collins
MAFS producers really saved the best (?) for second last with Natalie and Collins‘ couch sesh. Collins got into a heated argument with John and demanded that the relationship give him some advice.
After Natalie wrote leave, Collins launched into a Razzie Award-worthy performance of being devastated. Fortunately, for those who love drama, Collins decided to write stay and we’ll be seeing more of Collins and Natalie this week!

MAFS 2023 bride Bronte Schofield has revealed that it was actually her mum who suggested that she join the adult content-sharing platform OnlyFans.
The reality star joined the site back in June 2023, just a few months after her season of Married At First Sight Australia finished airing.
Bronte Schofield. OnlyFans.
While it’s the career direction that a number of former MAFS stars have taken, like Domenica Calarco, Olivia Frazerand Hayley Vernon, Bronte said it was her mother’s idea to join OnlyFans.
“My parents were the ones who told me to do it!” she told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia. “They’re like, with the housing crisis and everything that’s going on at the moment, the way to get ahead is to be doing something like this… so many reality stars do it, so many celebrities do it and they make really good money and set themselves up.
“My mum was like ‘Bronte, you’re not gonna have this body and you’re not gonna look like this forever’. So she goes, ‘If I was your age and I needed to make some money in a year I’d do it.'”

How much has Bronte made on OnlyFans?
Like many other MAFS stars turn OnlyFans creators, Bronte has earned bank on the platform.
“The money is freaking great,” she said. “My first month, my account did $250,000, it was insanity and I was hardly even posting on there.”
Bronte explained that she doesn’t necessarily need to post nude photos to get subscribers.
“It’s the freedom I’ve always wanted and it’s not what everyone thinks it is. I get photos of people wanting to see my belly button or my feet. You don’t have to sell yourself completely to make money,” she said.
“If you can accept and get through the backlash of being on OnlyFans you can get through anything. It’s $700 for my belly button, I’m like, that’s rent paid!”

The former MAFS bride said that she used a lot of her OF funds to start her new bikini label, Lolë Swim.
“It’s never been something that I wanted to do full-time. It’s funded my new business, so now that I’ve got my swimwear label with my best friend Lauren, that’s something that’s been a dream of mine for pretty much most of my twenties.

Collins Christian has shocked viewers on MAFS 2024 with his treatment of Natalie, as well as his bizarre reactions to, well, everything.
While he’s certainly not a fan favourite, he does have one popular MAFS alum on his side. Jesse Burford, who starred in season 9 of the show, took to social media to defend the executive assistant.
Yahoo Lifestyle Australia reported that Jesse commented on an Instagram post announcing the new group of participants in January, and said that he was mates with Collins.
Jesse made it clear that the new groom and his partner didn’t make it to the end… which is hardly surprising.
He revealed that Collins allegedly told him he was “railroaded, set up and backstabbed” and was “horrified and saddened with his time on the show”
Jesse added that he hopes his friend’s edit “isn’t too rough”, and described him as “one of the nicest, kindest, friendliest blokes I’ve met”.

Another couple has threatened to “ruin the whole show”
And, the pre-show drama didn’t end there, either. Apparently, another MAFS 2024 couple are so enamoured with one another that they’re struggling to keep their new relationship under wraps.
The same publication reported that the couple hard launched their relationship on the Gold Coast last month. The move apparently caused Nine to roll out new measures in an attempt to silence the couple.
“They must know they are breaking their signed agreement with the Nine Network,” a source said. “No one’s more happy for contestants to actually find love but they are going to need to be more secretive for now and keep their time on the show hidden from the public.
“These 2024 contestants have all completed filming for the eleventh series and while some may have walked away with a loving relationship, others have been left to lick their wounds. Either way, they have signed contracts forbidding them from ruining storylines.”
MAFS. Nine.
Married at First Sight 2024 premieres at 7:30pm on January 29th on Channel Nine and 9Now.
MAFS bride Tori Adams has slammed her edit on the show, saying she’s “not a victim” and revealed that footage was removed from the Dinner Party to make her look a certain way.
Tori married Jack Dunley, however, just a few episodes into the season, a website ran a story about his ex-girlfriend, who he allegedly left to go on the show.
The article claimed that Jack broke up with his ex Courtney Jade and told her that he was going on a work trip, only to appear on MAFS 2024 as a groom.
Jack’s past relationship was the main topic of conversation at the first Dinner Party, and Tori stood by her partner, saying she wasn’t bothered by the revelation.
Tori has since come out saying that she isn’t pleased about how she’s been presented on MAFS, and stressed that she stood up for herself and the relationship at the group gathering.
“I addressed the table that night and I was very clear on my stance regarding that article and they just cut all of it out and made me look like I was a damsel in distress,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.
“It was really disappointing to kind of figure out the angle that they’re going with is just not an accurate depiction whatsoever,” she added.
MAFS. Nine.
The business development manager told the publication that she thinks her edit makes it look as though she doesn’t have a “voice”.
“I feel like I come across quite silenced and quite uncomfortable and quite submissive in a way of not being able to speak up, and that’s not me at all,” she said. “I am not afraid to speak up, I am quite outspoken and happy to share any thoughts.
“I’m not a victim. I’m not this helpless, poor sod that needs the nation to stand behind me. I’m great, I’m fine. We’re just getting done real dirty with how they’re showing it on TV, and it’s really disappointing. But it is what it is, you know, it’s TV and I signed up to it.”
“I was dating him this year and he broke up with me a week after I flew to Melbourne, met all his family and he said he loves me. He told me he was moving to America for “work opportunities”. I only found out yesterday from a friend he is in fact in Sydney on Married At First Sight,” she told the publication.
Jack has since fired back, telling Daily Mail Australia that he expected Courtney Jade to reach out to the press in regards to their former relationship.
MAFS. Nine.
“It wasn’t a surprise. I had a feeling that my ex was going to go rogue at some point and probably sell something to the media,” he said.
He told the publication that the news didn’t affect his relationship with his on-screen wife Tori.
“Tori was all over it,” he said. “I think I discussed it with her day two or day three of meeting her and caught her up to speed with my latest relationship and where it was and how I couldn’t get away from the communications even though I wasn’t responding.”

Jock Zonfrillo’s widow LaurenFried has shared a huge update about the son she shared with the late MasterChef Australia host.
Lauren posted an adorable photo of Alfie, who turns six this month, dressed in his school uniform and beaming on his first day of school while she held him.
“The wee man’s first day at school,” she captioned the cute pic.

Lauren’s emotional updates on life without Jock
In January, Lauren shared an emotional tribute to Jock after their wedding anniversary. They got married on January 1st 2017 in a seaside ceremony.
“Happy anniversary, My Love,” Lauren wrote alongside a photo from the beautiful day. “Our dream of growing old together in the middle of nowhere in Italy – kids and dogs under our feet, you laughing your enormous laugh, falling asleep on your chest – is so vivid.”
“That’s where I imagine you now. Lx.”

Shortly before that, Lauren shared another moving tribute about spending her first Christmas without Jock.
“It’s different this year. No less love or excitement, just my stubbornness to see the kid’s faces light up in spite of it all,” she wrote alongside a video of her celebrating Christmas with her children.
“Watching our gorgeous children navigating their first Xmas, I can see now that tragedy will make them. It will make them fierce and fearless, they’ll have a strength no-one can quite put their finger on,” the post continued.
“And they will undoubtedly have a life bigger than the one Jock and I dreamt for them because of this. They’ll be stronger in the broken bits.”

What happened to Jock Zonfrillo?
Zonfrillo died suddenly on April 30, 2023 and he is survived by his wife and children Alfie, 5, and Isla, 2, as well as two older daughters, Ava and Sophia, from his first two marriages.
In July, Fried took to Instagram to share how she honoured her husband’s MasterChef legacy by wearing a traditional Scottish piece from his final episode.
“What a gorgeous man, always happiest in his kilt. This is the fly plaid (tartan over his shoulder) that I chose to wear to Jock’s funeral, the last one he wore,” she captioned a photo of the MasterChefAustralia judge wearing the piece.
