Three new Gatecrasher teams are entering the My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2024 competition, and MKR contestantViviana has revealed which of the latest additions she was intimidated by.
Viviana, who’s paired up with long-time pal Simone, came second on the MKR leaderboard in round one, finishing 10 points behind brothers Rob and Liam.
At the end of round one, the two teams with the lowest scores were eliminated, and Rob and Liam won immunity, meaning they wouldn’t be taking part in round two of the Instant Restaurants.
So, Simone and Viviana are headed back into the Instant Restaurants round two to compete against Mike and Pete and Hannah and Lawrence. They’ll be joined by the three new MKR 2024 Gatecrasher teams; Caz and Fergus, Robert and Andrea and Janey and Maddie.
The MKR Gatecrashers Caz and Fergus, Janey and Maddy and Robert and Andrea (L-R).
Upon meeting the new teams, Viviana told Chattr in an exclusive interview that there was one duo that she was instantly wary about.
“When we first saw Fergus and Caz, I wasn’t really scared of them for some reason because they seemed very nice, not too much competitiveness,” she said.
“I saw Rob and Andrea as genuine,” she added. “But, Janey and Maddie seemed a little more competitive as if they were like, ‘I’m here to knock you off’. That’s the vibe that I got.”

When will the MKR Gatecrasher teams have their Instant Restaurants?
The first Instant Restaurant of round two will be hosted by one of the Gatecrasher teams.
Caz and Fergus will invite their competitors—as well as MKR judgesManu Fieldel and Colin Fassnidge—to their house in NSW to serve them a three-course meal during the episode that airs on September 25.
Simone and Viviana will cook during the episode that airs on September 30, and Gatecrashers Janey and Maddie are up after them the following night.

The dates are yet to be confirmed for Robert and Andrea, Mike and Pete and Hannah and Lawrence’s round two Instant Restaurants.
However, if the calibre of this season is anything to go by, they’re likely to be seriously impressive!

As you’re all likely aware by now, Big Brother Australiais returning in 2025. And while this iteration of the classic reality series promises to take us back to the original in terms of structure, there is one thing that is decidedly new: the show’s host, Mel Tracina.
OG host Gretel Killeen, along with hosts of the more recent reboots, Kyle and Jackie O and Sonia Kruger were noticeably absent from news of the show’s return.
Instead, it was announced that the Nova announcer, cultural correspondent for The Cheap Seats and self-proclaimed “reality TV junkie” would be taking on the role of Big Brother host for 2025.
So, who is Mel Tracina and what can we expect from her time heading up the Big Brother house? Let’s take a little look!
Mel Tracina: What do we know so far?
New Big Brother host, Mel Tracina. Credit: Instragram
As we touched on above, Mel has a background in radio and TV presenting, having worked with both Nova Melbourne and Ten’s The Cheap Seats. She also often appears as a guest panellist on Have You Been Paying Attention?
Throughout her career, Mel has interviewed some huge Hollywood names (like Chris Hemsworth), having appeared on a number of red carpets, so it’s fairly safe to say she’ll be feeling at home grilling Big Brother contestants on their time in the house.
Speaking with Ten about the show’s return to the network and her new (massive) gig as host, Mel shared that she’s long been a fan of Big Brother, and that she’s excited to bring it back to its old-school roots.
“I was one of the millions of Aussies captivated by Big Brother when it launched on Channel 10 in the early noughties,” she said.
“The show has such a loyal and passionate fan base, and I am excited to help bring back the show’s original spirit (minus the flip phones and bum dancing).”
Personally, I think the flip phones and bum dancing are iconic, but hey, each to one’s own.
Were Gretel Killeen and Sonia Kruger approached for Big Brother 2025?

While it’s certainly exciting to see modern Big Brother Australia moving in a (kinda) new direction, the choice to bring on a new host has obviously left folks asking what happened with the previous leading personalities — especially Gretel and Sonia.
Yahoo Lifestyle recently reported an insider shared with them that neither of the former hosts was considered for the 2025 gig.
“Network 10 wanted someone fresh that felt similar to the network hiring Gretel back in 2001,” the insider told the outlet. “Gretel wasn’t unknown by any means, but it was Big Brother Australia that made her a household name.”
Additionally, a source spoke with New Idea, sharing that opting not to go with Gretel may not be the snub some are interpreting it to be.
“She [Gretel] probably feels that Big Brother should well and truly remain in her past,” the source said.
When it comes to Sonia, Yahoo reports that their source shared that fans were looking for a change from the former host. Equally, they stated that Sonia “wasn’t really that keen on continuing” with the series either.
Ah, FBoy Island Australia. The absurd yet self-aware dating show that sees 12 self-proclaimed Nice Guys and 12 FBoys duke it out for the affections of three single women. In the 2024 season of FBoy Island Australia, we’ve watched as Ally Woodfall, Nicole Mitrov and The Bachelor alumni Krystal Thomas try and find love – and on Monday’s finale, we’ll find out if they have.
Yep, the finale for the 2024 season is almost here; where we’ll watch the women make their final decisions and, in the process, discover whether they’ve chosen a nice guy who will split the $50,000 cash prize with them or — even more grim — if they’ve picked an FBoy who will walk away with the whole prize money.
Host Abbie Chatfield has spoken about Monday’s finale and, well, things are looking chaotic, to say the least.
“The finale is mental,” Abbie tells Chattr.
She also hints that there are many surprises in store that even the producers weren’t in the know about.
“We were filming for two or three hours because things kept happening, and the contestants kept doing things that weren’t known by producers. I think they were trying to be smart and be, like, sneaky,” she says.
The 2024 season of FBoy Island Australia has already caused quite a stir. One of the biggest talking points has been Ally’s relationship with Joe – a certified Andrew Tate lover and FKA ‘the hot one’ – with concerns that she’s had a bit too much tunnel vision for the bloke.
FBoy Island contestant Joe. Image: Binge.
Abbie says that while the finale drama wasn’t predicted, it’s made the episode even better.
“It made for better TV because we didn’t know what was happening,” she continues. “It was chaos. It was absolute chaos.”
“I was exhausted, and I was saying, ‘Guys, I love the drama, but like, how many more things could there possibly be?!'” she said. “It was actually wild.”
Colour us interested!
When is the FBoy Island Australia 2024 finale?
The FBoy Island Australia finale for 2024 will kick off on our screens on Monday, September 30. The episode will drop at 12pm over on BINGE – so maybe it’s time to chuck a strategic sickie from work.
Host Abbie Chatfield. Image: Binge.
Who is in the FBoy Island Australia finale?
After weeks of fun summer lovin’, the three women have finally whittled the 24 men down to 6 contenders.
Ex-contestant on The Bachelor, Krystal, has her final picks locked in, including Doug and Paddy, who was also seen in The Bachelor universe. Krystal follows both men on her Instagram still, so while we can’t predict which way the finale will go with her, it all sounds like they’re still mates.
Meanwhile, Nicole has chosen Nathan and Jack as her top two. While her connection with Jack has been there since day-dot, the decision to keep Nathan – the first openly gay FBoy – is an interesting one, considering there’s clearly not a romantic connection between the two of them. But who knows? It could be an easy way to split the $50k.
Ally has – perhaps unsurprisingly – picked Joe and Chad for her final two. Since episode one, Ally has had her sights set on Joe despite what fans consider several red flags. Now, there’s speculation that in the finale, she’ll choose Joe, and he’ll run off with the cash in true FBoy behaviour.
While the speculations aren’t confirmed, her ex Vernon Lyon (who was on season one of the show), told So Dramatic! that her season “doesn’t end well”. Uh oh.
The leading ladies Krystal, Ally and Nicole. Image: Binge.
What happens during the finale?
During the finale, the women will carefully consider which guy to choose and discover whether their top pick is a Nice Guy or an FBoy and, consequentially, whether they’ll walk away with any cash.
While we don’t know exactly what will go down in the 2024 finale, the 2023 finale spills some clues for what we might expect.
During the 2023 finale, the eliminated boys came back to the villa to dish the dirt on all the remaining guys in an effort to help the women’s decision-making. After the roasting, the women set off on some 24-hour dates with their remaining dudes.
Then, it’ll be time for the final choices, with each of the women choosing their final picks, discovering their status for the first time, and finding out whether they’ll walk away splitting the $50,000 prize money or, alternatively, walk away with absolutely nada with an FBoy taking the whole prize.
Some 30 years after the original travel series hit Aussie televisions, The Great Outdoors is set to return to our screens, bringing fans a “reimagined version” of the ’90s show.
If you’re keen to get your eyes across the fresh take on The Great Outdoors, here’s everything you need to know about the series’ return to telly.
Kimberly Busteed. Image: Seven.
What is The Great Outdoors?
If you remember the ’90s well, chances are The Great Outdoors brings up a hint of nostalgia for you. The popular travel series saw a team of presenters travel the globe, and around Australia itself, highlighting activities, places to stay and the top spots to see — with a focus on adventure and outdoorsy destinations.
The Seven Network shared the below synopsis for the new take on the series:
“The Great Outdoors team will scour the globe to bring viewers extraordinary and unmissable adventures, epic scenery and vibrant food and culture.
“Travel with the team as they visit all four corners of the compass in Australia, from diving off the Western Australian coast to trekking the deep forests of Tasmania; hop in the passenger seat on a classic convertible road trip along the iconic Route 66 in the US; and scale the snow-covered heights of northern Europe.”
The original Great Outdoors kicked off in early 1993 and it was a pretty well-loved series for the majority of that time, even receiving a few Logie Award nominations over the years. But it was eventually cancelled in 2009.
There was a brief attempt at reviving the show in 2012, but that didn’t progress beyond the one season.

“Filming in the US was a real highlight of this series for me and I can’t wait to show viewers what we got up to over there.”
Phil also gave a statement on his new gig, sharing that, “I’ve travelled the world with my music, but what I realised through filming The Great Outdoors is some of the hidden gems we have right here in Australia.

My Kitchen Rules(MKR) GatecrasherFergus James is no stranger to the limelight — the successful singer was actually discovered by Justin Timberlake.
And that’s not the only famous connection Fergus has – he’s also supported some huge artists on their international tours.
Now, Fergus is tackling the MKR 2024 competition alongside his mum Caz. The mother-son duo joined the show as one of the three pairs of Gatecrashers who are competing in round two. We can’t wait to see if they top the MKR leaderboard.
Fergus and Caz. Image: Seven.
MKR’s Fergus was discovered by Justin Timberlake
In 2016, Justin showed up unannounced at Newtown’s High School of The Performing Arts to host a “secret masterclass”.
JT shared a video of the visit on his Facebook page at the time, featuring none other than MKR’s Fergus (albeit a lot younger).
When Fergus took the stage and performed an original song, Justin was clearly blown away.
“What? I’d put that on the radio now,” he told the high school student.
The clip went viral, and Fergus appeared on the Today show to talk about his experience with Justin.
“Justin really got into how much he liked the lyrics and how vulnerability is such an important thing in music. It was a great opportunity.”
Fergus supported Ed Sheeran on his world tour
Two years after meeting Justin, Fergus was on stage supporting Ed Sheeran on his ÷ stadium tour in 2018.
In 2019, Fergus told The AU Reviewthat he was relieved he had little experience performing for large crowds when he took on the gig.
“To be honest with you, I think had I had any prior experience playing live shows, as a proper musician, I think I would have struggled a little bit more than I did,” he said.
“I am not saying it was easy. It was one of the most horrifyingly scary things to get up in front of thousands of people with a guitar at the age of eighteen.”
Fergus has performed with Meg Mac and at Splendour In The Grass
In 2019, Fergus opened the biggest stage at Splendour In The Grass after winning triple j’s Unearthed competition.
That same year, he was the support act for Meg Mac at the Melbourne Zoo’s Zoo Twilights events, where he played his own songs, What Are We Waiting For, Mistakes and Old Stars.
“I’ve been listening to Meg Mac since a young kid,” Fergus told The AU Review of the opportunity. “And, the fact I got to support her, to do 13 shows was unreal, and only to be topped by getting to do Splendour, another life goal, opening that massive stage.”
Listen to Fergus James’ music here and watch his Slow Separation video clip below.
We’ve got our fingers crossed that Fergus will treat the rest of the MKR cast to a little rendition during one of the round two MKR Instant Restaurants.

Round One of My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2024 has officially been completed, and now it’s time for some of the OG contestants to take on the Gatecrashers. So, who are the MKR 2024 Gatecrashers?
Well, this year’s batch of intruders consists of three teams; a mother and daughter, mother and son and a married couple.
The new trio will tour around Australia for round two of the Instant Restaurants and compete against Simone and Viviana, Mike and Pete and Lawrence and Hannah.
Because Rob and Liam topped the 2024 MKR Leaderboard with a score of 82/110, they were made immune from round two of Instant Restaurants and sent straight through to the next round. The conclusion of round one saw the elimination of MKR contestantsCassie and Ash and Danny and Sonia, who had the lowest scores.
Will any of the Gatecrashers join Rob and Liam at Kitchen HQ? We can’t wait to find out. But until then, here’s everything you need to know about the brand-spanking new MKR 2024 Gatecrashers.
MKR 2024 Gatecrashers Janey and Maddie

Janey and Maddie are a glamorous mother-daughter duo who prefer the fancier things in life — like champagne and oysters.
Maddie recently left her marketing job to start a small recruitment business with her mum, who has over 30 years of experience in the industry.
The pair is fiercely protective of each other and won’t be afraid to speak their minds to the other contestants.
Janey has been a big fan of MKR over the years, which is why the pair applied to take part in the show.
“I used to watch MKR with my mum,” Janey explained in a press release. “I love food and love being competitive, so it’s a perfect match for me.
“To be with my daughter Maddie on this journey is an experience of a lifetime. Cooking on MKR is a dream, but winning the crown would be the icing on the cake.”
Mother and son team Caz and Fergus share a very close relationship. Fergus is a singer who was discovered by Justin Timberlake and singer/songwriter who has opened for Ed Sheeran and played at Splendour in the Grass.
Meanwhile, Caz works in education and dreams of opening a food venue in in Tasmania that’s focused on local producers and featuring music played by Fergus.
In an MKR press release, Caz said that cooking is her way of showing people how much she cares for them.
“Cooking is a way to bring everyone together and share something delicious over a bottle of wine,” Fergus added.
MKR 2024 Gatecrashers Robert and Andrea

Husband and wife Robert and Andrea are hoping to be the first German couple to win MKR.
Robert owns a jewellery business and manages the Oktoberfest Bratwurst stall at a local market. Andrea is a clinical nurse in aged care who loves helping people in and out of the kitchen.
In an MKR press release, Robert and Andrea say preparation is their top tip for stress-free entertaining.
The couple lists traditional German food as their go-to dish.
“Roast pork, potato dumplings and savoy cabbage or crispy duck with cherry and shallot vinegar sauce, potato mash and currywurst,” Robert said.
“Roast pork with dumplings and cabbage,” Andrea added.

A new film adaptation of Emily Brontë‘s classic novel Wuthering Heights is in the works, with Australian Hollywood heavyweights Margot Robbie andJacob Elordi set to star in the leading roles.
This fresh take on the story promises to bring the passionate tale of Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw to a new generation of viewers, directed by Emerald Fennell of Saltburnand Promising Young Woman fame. It will be produced by LuckyChap and financed by MRC.
Here’s everything we know so far about this highly anticipated film adaptation.
Margot Robbie in Bond 26. Image: YouTube.
Wuthering Heights Synopsis
Based on the novel first published in 1847, Wuthering Heights tells the story of a poor boy of unknown origins who is rescued from poverty and taken in by the Earnshaw family.
There, he develops an intense relationship with his young foster sister, Cathy. Set against the backdrop of the wild Yorkshire moors, this tale of love, revenge, and the destructive nature of passion has captivated readers for generations.
At this stage, it’s uncertain whether Fennell’s version of the plot will differ, as well as the tone the film will use.
When will Wuthering Heights be released and how can you watch it?
There is no official release date for the new adaptation of Wuthering Heights yet. The project is still in pre-production, with shooting slated to begin in 2025 in the UK.
The film will likely hit theatres first, followed by streaming services and online rental platforms.
Who has been cast?
While Margot and Jacob have been announced as leads, playing Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively, other main roles are yet to be cast.
Based on previous adaptations, we doubt it will be long before we hear more about who will be playing key roles like Edgar Linton, Isabella Linton, Hindley Earnshaw, and Nelly Dean.
Jacob Elordi in He Went That Way. Image: YouTube.
Who is Emerald Fennell?
Emerald is an English actress, filmmaker, and writer.
As an actor, she’s known for her roles in period dramas such as Call the Midwife, where she starred as Nurse Patsy Mount from 2013 to 2017, and as Camilla Parker Bowles in Netflix’s The Crown.
In addition to her acting career, Fennell has made her mark as a writer-director with her most recent film, Saltburn. She also received an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for her directorial debut, Promising Young Woman.
She has received multiple accolades including two BAFTA Awards and nominations for three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes. Fennell’s work often explores themes related to gender and social class, showcasing her talent for storytelling across different mediums.
We can’t wait to see what Emerald has in store for her take on Wuthering Heights – or to see the (albeit questionable) chemistry between Margot and Jacob!

Less than a week later, Jarod shared a picture to Instagram Stories of him and Domenica sharing beers on a beach in the coastal town of Valla.
This was followed by a picture of him and Domenica posing together outside Bondi Icebergs which Domenica then shared to her own Instagram account.

On top of that, Domenica also hard launched her relationship with Jarod over on TikTok on September 23.
She shared an adorable video of her and Jarod doing a TikTok trend (which you can watch here) and captioned it, “We just had had to #couplegoals.” CUTE!
Who is Jarod “Boggo” Bogunovich?
Jarod is Bondi-based, a skateboarder known to his mates as “Boggo” and has a photo with comedian Chris Lilley on his Instagram account.
“I know Boggo from the skating scene and he’s a legend. Great guy. He seems really smitten,” a source told Chattr exclusively.
He also seems to like The Notebook,a movie that taught us a lot about love. In his Instagram bio, he references a quote from the film. Therefore, we love him already.
Domenica Calarco’s past relationships
Domenica was married IRL to LukeRodley before she went on MAFS in 2022. The couple split shortly before she went on the show, where she married Jack Millar.
Depsite making it to the end of the experiment as a couple, Jack and Domenica didn’t choose to continue their relationship in the real world.
Jack went on to date Love Island star Courtney Stubbs, with whom he now shares a baby.

After appearing on the reality TV dating series, Domenica dated another man named Jack, but they announced their split in April 2024.
“I’ve needed a bit of time off social to work through a break-up,” Domenica explained in a social media post at the time.
”I miss engaging with you all through my social media channels, but the last few weeks have been super intense,” Domenica continued in her statement.
“I’ve never felt anything more than when Taylor Swift said; lights camera, bitch smile! Having to get up every day, pick myself up, get to work and keep myself going has been the most challenging experience I’ve gone through in quite a while.”
Now Domenica has found a connection with Jarod, and we’re just relieved that his name isn’t Jack too, because things were getting confusing.
Congrats to the happy couple.

Havana Brown and Stephanie Wood were in the lead on leg six of The Amazing Race 2024until they reached the Road Block challenge, which required them to find 28 teeth buried within a square of dirt.
While some of the remaining The Amazing Race cast sailed through the challenge, Stephanie struggled to find the last few teeth, which saw them drop into last place and be eliminated from the competition.
However, during an exclusive interview with Chattr, Havana and Stephanie shared just how well their particular teeth were buried.
Stephanie digging for the teeth. Image: Ten.
“I feel like the other teams that were finding it really easy, [the teeth] were just floating towards the top,” Havana said. “I saw Stephanie work so hard to dig out our entire hole.”
“She went through all the different parts of the dirt multiple times. So, it was just strange that we weren’t able to find that too. Very unlucky.”
Havana revealed that their competitors, Ian Thorpe and Christian Miranda, risked their own spot in the game by helping the women look for the missing teeth.
“You didn’t see this on the screen, but Thorpey and Christian, before they left, they spent a good 10-15 minutes helping Stephanie try to find the tooth, and they couldn’t find it.”
“It was so kind of them,” Stephanie added.

Havana Brown and Stephanie Wood reveal how close The Amazing Race cast were
Havana revealed that she and Stephanie built a very close relationship with both Christian and Ian and Matilda’s players Chloe Logarzo and Emily Gielnik.
“Chloe came out and played soccer with my daughter recently,” Stephanie said. “She hosted a little soccer clinic for my daughter and her friends.”
“The Tillies [Matildas] we regularly with and keep in contact with. We’re trying to organise a time for them to come to one of my shows so we can all catch up,” Havana added.
Havana and Stephanie with Chloe and Emily. Image: Ten.
The Australia DJ said that the cast has a WhatsApp group where they discuss the episodes together and added that she’s recently spent time with Ian.
“I think we’ve made some lifelong friends out of it, which is really great. It’s such a cool crew of cast,” she said.
“Everyone got along very well. There were so many comedians. I mean, Adam [Eckersley] and Brooke [McClymont] and Peter and Bridge [Helliar] are so funny, especially when you’re exhausted; they definitely kept the vibe high.”
With so many new friends left in the game, who are Havana and Stephanie hoping will win The Amazing Race Australia 2024?
“To be honest, I want everyone to win. But obviously, they can’t, so I’d like the Matilda’s girls to win — for girl power,” Havana said.
Considering Chloe and Emily have a few race wins under their belt already, an overall win could very well be on the cards for them!
The Amazing Race Australia 2024 airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on Channel Ten and 10Play.

FBoy Island Australia’s Krystal Thomas, Ally Woodfalland Nicole Mitrov have been busy weeding out the FBoys, hoping they’ll be left with just Nice Guys at the end.
If the trio of ladies choose an FBoy at the finale, he’ll receive the power and can take home $50,000 in prize money or split it with the woman who chose him.
Meanwhile, if Krystal, Ally and Nicole pick Nice Guys, they’ll automatically receive $50,000 each to share with their new partner, who they can gallop off into the sunset with.
However, some of theFBoy Island Australia men are seriously crafty and have been doing a damn good job of acting as though they’re on the show for love when the reality is quite different.
The FBoys the ladies manage to identify and eliminate are sent packing for Limbro, a magical camp where naughty FBOYs are sent to repent.
Who has left FBoy Island Australia 2024 so far?

“Every single time, I’ve felt like I’ve had to fight and fight, and I’m, quite frankly, tired,” he said.
After quitting the show, he revealed that he was a Nice Guy.
Sean
Nicole decided to take Nathan Giastis to the finale despite discovering that he was gay weeks earlier. Since the revelation, Nicole has kept him in the game as her spy.
She chose Jack to join Nathan at the final, meaning Sean was sent home. After the decision, he told Nicole that he was a Nice Guy.
Tim

Wes
Wes. Image: Binge.
Wes came for Ally after she eliminated him during Episode 6, saying he felt that her eyes were firmly fixed on Joe and she never gave any of the other contestants a chance.
“Ally, from the start, I feel like you’ve had the eyes for Joe, and your eyes have never swayed left or right,” he told her. “There’s been seven dates, and I’ve been on none. I don’t feel like I’ve ever had your time. I don’t want to feel like a fourth or fifth option, and that’s the honest truth, Ally.”
On his way out, he revealed he was a Nice Guy and told Ally, “I hope you do get an FBoy in the end, and I do hope he does take the 50K.” Oooft.
Jerome

Eddy

Eddy was sent to Limbro during Episode 2 after Krystal called him out for not making an effort with the girls.
Dart
Dart left FBoy Island in episode 2. Image: Binge.
Nice Guy Dart was put up for elimination during Episode 2 by Nicole. Rather than begging for her to let him stay, Dart whipped out a cello and played her a song… but was sent home anyway.
Mitch

Mitch was eliminated by Ally during Episode 1. Unfortunately for her, he was revealed to be a Nice Guy.
Jin

Jake
Jake left FBoy Island in episode 1. Image: Binge.
The third time wasn’t a charm for Jake, who’s been on Ex and The Beach UK and The Amazing Race. He self-eliminated before he even had a chance to tell the girls whether he was an FBoy or Nice Guy.
FBoy Island Australia Season 2 streams Mondays on BINGE.
My Kitchen Rules (MKR) has returned in 2024 with some of the country’s best home cooks battling it out to be crowned the winners.
JudgesManu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge have returned for MKR season 14, and they’re touring around the country with the contestants for the Instant Kitchen segment.
Round one involves six teams of contestants who each set up restaurants at their homes and cook for the judges and their fellow competitors.
Here’s everything we know about MKR 2024.
When does MKR 2024 air?
MKR 2024 kicked off on September 9 at 7:30pm on 7Plus and Channel 7.
Is there a MKR 2024 trailer?
There is! Watch it below.
Who is in the lead on MKR 2024?
At the time of writing, Rob and Liam are currently at the top of the MKR leaderboard with 84 points.
Every team aside from Mike and Rob have cooked in round one, and the pals’ Instant Kitchen episode is scheduled to air on September 24.
The 2024 MKR cast
There are six teams of OG cast members on MKR 2024. You can find out more about each team of MKR 2024 contestants here and watch their promo videos below.
Rob and Liam
Rob and Liam might be brothers, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be cutthroat with each other.
“We are the most competitive brothers in Australia,” Rob said in a promo video.
The siblings—who are only 18 months apart—learnt to cook from their mother, whom they called “an absolute weapon in the kitchen” in a press release.
Mike and Pete
West Australian friends Mike and Pete can dish out the criticism, but can they take it?
In the MKR promo video, the pals repeatedly chirp about how easy their co-stars’ dishes are to make but face some trouble when it’s their turn to hit the kitchen.

According to their Channel 7 bio, the pair will add spice to the conversation and ruffle feathers at the table.
“There’s no controlling Mike’s mouth,” Pete said in an MKR press release.
Hannah and Lawrence
WA couple Hannah and Lawrence have been dubbed the “sweethearts” of the season. According to his Channel 7 bio, Lawrence will propose to Hannah if they win the season… Which makes us concerned about what will happen if they don’t win.
“If we win MKR, I’m dropping on one knee; that’s non-negotiable,” he said.

In the couple’s promo video, Hannah declares that she and Lawrence have “never argued”right before they appear to kick off a fight.
Good luck to them!
Danny and Sonia
If you thought Jac and Shaz from MKR Season 6 were true blue Aussies, wait until you meet MKR 2024‘s Danny and Sonia.
The brother-and-sister team from far North Queensland put the Aussie in Aussie cuisine. According to their Channel 7 bio, the siblings were raised to hunt, fish and cook.
Sonia and Danny. Image: Seven.
”We didn’t have a lot growing up, but we did have love, and we did have food,” Sonia said in her bio.
Danny said he’s ready to “show some of my cooking skills to Australia, meet new people and just have a good time.”
Simone and Viviana
Could the first announced team, Simone and Viviana, be the most impressive pair of cooks this season? The Italian-born friends plan on showing Australia their “style, class and modern Italian with a twist,” according to an MKR trailer.

The Italian besties may be Queensland-based, but they’ll be bringing their home country’s flair to MKR 2024.
Simone is a self-proclaimed adventurous cook who innovates classic recipes and dishes.
Viviana recalls that the first dish she ever prepared was gnocchi alla romana, which she made with her grandma.
In a sweet moment in the MKR 2024 trailer, Simone gets emotional when she tearfully serves up what she thinks is a sub-par dish to judges Colinand Manu.
However, the infamous harsh judge Colin eases her doubts when he shows her his plate, which has been licked all but clean.

“This says it all,” he told the pair.
“Seeing your plate so clean is just an honour, so thank you,” she replied.
Ash and Cassie
Ash and Cassie are young mums and dieticians who want to share their cooking skills with Australia.
“I believe I have what it takes to win with Ash by my side while utilising healthier alternatives. I want to show Australia that tasty meals can also be healthy,” Cassie said in an MKR press release.
Who are the MKR 2024 judges?
Colin and Manu are returning as the judges of the Instant Kitchen rounds. Woohoo!

It’s The Block 2024’s kitchen room reveals for week five, and the Blockheads’ finished spaces were nothing short of stunning.
As the judges noted, each of The Block contestants’ rooms had its own personality. While they were impressed withMaddy and Charlotte, Courtney and Grant, Ricky and Haydn, Brad and Kylie and Mimi and Kristian’s room, as always, they had some negative pointers.
The final scores were so close that there was only half a point difference between the highest scorers—Maddy and Charlotte and Kylie and Brad—before Shaynna Blaze’s scores were shown.
Despite Kylie’s insistence that she didn’t want to play their secret gnome—which gives the team a bonus point—this week, Brad played it anyway and secured their team’s win.
Check out each of the room reveals – as well as the The Block judges’ scores – below.

Love Island’sMitch Eliot has publicly asked online trolls to stop making hateful comments about his breakup with Phoebe Spiller.
Mitch and Phoebe split in July 2024 after two years together. They both posted breakup announcements on Instagram at the time, but it wasn’t clear who had ended their relationship.
Since the breakup, Phoebe has taken to social media to post videos of her struggling with the split, including one TikTok video that racked up 1.8 million views.
“Trying to get up and live your life but battling with the confusion because you thought he was the one you’d marry,” she captioned a clip of her crying.
Reminder that progress isn’t linear and there will be good, great, bad and awful days. For anyone going through something similar – this fkn sucks. But we got this.. ❤️🩹
One day after Phoebe shared the video, Mitch took to his own Instagram account to point out the cruel Instagram comments he’s been receiving.
“After a few recent TikTok’s that have been made. I’ve been flooded with hate comments and DMS. I MEAN FLOODED. This amount of hate under any circumstance is not okay,” he began.
“All because I chose to do the right thing and end a relationship that was obviously not working. I’ve just been deleting all your comments and messages, so no point trying anymore.”
Mitch encouraged Phoebe’s fans to support her on her Instagram rather than attack him on his page.
“I don’t understand the logic. What did you guys want me to do in this situation? Stay in a relationship that was making us both unhappy?” Mitch said, insinuating that he was the one who broke up with Phoebe.
“You guys are acting like I cheated on the girl, which is far from the truth. The only people who truly know what happened is Phoebe and I so please stop acting like you know.”
Mitch finished the text post by reminding people to be kind online.
“You’re all advocates for mental health until you’re hiding behind your keyboards. I lost a lot from this breakup too, I’m just not posting about it. Remember to be kind. We are all just trying to exist in this world.”

Mitch was spotted with a mystery blonde woman
Phoebe is currently in America on holiday with some friends. Meanwhile, Mitch was spotted in Sydney with another woman.
“Mitch was walking along the Bondi beach promenade with a blonde woman on September 18,” a source told Chattr exclusively.
“It didn’t seem romantic, from what I could tell. He seemed a bit down, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a friend he’s leaning on during this time.”
Are you an aspiring singer with dreams of turning chairs and making it big in the music industry? Good news! Applications for The Voice Australia 2025 have officially opened, giving you the chance to showcase your talent on one of the country’s biggest stages.
Here’s everything you need to know about the application process, what to expect, and when to get your audition tapes in.
If you’re ready to apply for The Voice Australia 2025, the application process is pretty straightforward, but it does require a bit of preparation. Here’s what you need to do:
Fill out the online application
Pop on over to the official website for The Voice Australia casting. Fill out your personal details, a bit of information about you, and a link to your socials and music. You’ll want to convince them you’re the next big star, so make sure you take your time filling everything out for The Voice 2025 application.
Record an audition video
You’ll need to upload a video of yourself performing. It could be an original song or a funky new cover, but all you want is for it to show your talent and musical abilities. Try to squeeze a bit of your personal style in there.
Submit and hope for the best
Once you’ve given it your all, submit the form and video for The Voice 2025 application and wait to see if you’ll get a call. If you’re selected, you’ll move on to the next stage, which might be an in-person audition or more virtual tryouts.
What’s the application process like for The Voice Australia?
Once you’ve applied (and hopefully shortlisted), you can expect a few steps before you hit that stage.
The first is the initial screening, where producers will review your application and audition video. If they think you’ve got what it takes, they’ll contact you for further rounds.
If you’re successful, the next stage might include callbacks and extra auditions – either in-person or virtually.
If you’re lucky enough to make it through the audition process, you could see yourself in The Blind Auditions, where you famously sing in front of the big chairs, hoping that one of the coaches will smash that red button and turn their chair.
LeAnn Rimes has slammed rumours that she “struggled to find her groove” on The Voice Australia2024 and has revealed whether she’d be down to return for another season.
The Can’t Fight The Moonlight singer took to her Instagram for an Q&A session, and was asked by a follower whether she would consider returning to the popular singing show.
“I’ve had the best time on both shows,” LeAnn began. “I would love to come back. I think it’d be really fun. So hopefully that will happen.”
“I find it funny. I can actually speak on this here for a second. I’ve seen a couple of stupid articles – the press is so weird sometimes – about how I didn’t find my groove on there,” she said.
“It’s like a one time thing that’s completely not true, and I found my groove just right.”
LeAnn made it clear that she’d love to return for another season of The Voice Australia.
“I had a great time, and I would love to come back. I love Australia,” she said. “It was an amazing experience. So hopefully I’ll see you soon.”

LeAnn revealed her who favourite audition was on The Voice Australia 2024
During the Q&A sesh, another follower asked LeAnn who her favourite audition on The Voice Australia 2024 was.
“In Australia, sweet Cookie [Robinson] singing my song and getting up to sing with her was just a beautiful moment,” she answered.
Cookie sang Can’t Fight The Moonlight by LeAnn and joined the aspiring singer on stage for a duet.

“And, then also Reuben De Melo,” she continued. “Who is just an incredible vocalist and so authentic and real. I think that’s probably one of the best auditions that we’ve seen on the show.”
Reuben spun all four chairs, and his performance ignited a battle between the coaches to secure him on one of The Voice teams.
