MAFS’ Beth Kelly is the “brutally honest” Brit bride that the 2025 experiment needs

The drama on Married at First Sight 2025 (MAFS) is heating up, especially with the arrival of the intruder brides and grooms, including Beth Kelly.

Here’s everything we know about her so far.

Who is MAFS’ Beth Kelly?

Beth is a 28-year-old salon manager originally from Lancashire, Northwest England. She moved to Australia 12 years ago with her family.

She’s never had a boyfriend before, but now she’s ready to change that!

Fun, loyal and vibrant, Beth has always longed for love and wants a partner who makes her laugh and lets her be her true self.

Beth describes herself as a “brutally honest” person who isn’t afraid of confrontation, but she’s also the go-to friend for advice and support.

According to the Daily Mail, she’ll be a one to watch with a production source saying, “she is not here to fade into the background”.

Who is Beth matched with on MAFS?

Beth is paired with Teejay Halkias, who may be a familiar face for reality TV fans given he’s previously appeared on Big Brother 2023.

Teejay, who’s of Greek and Indian heritage, has worked as a photographic and runway model, starring in TV commercials and music videos. His now private Instagram is filled with beach pics, activewear shoots, and wedding tux shots (pretty on-brand for a MAFS groom).

Some big tea this season is that MAFS bride Jamie Marinos and Teejay have hooked up in the past. And when did Jamie decide to share this tidbit? At his actual TV wedding to Beth.

According to The Daily Mail Australia, Beth was reportedly blindsided by the revelation, and its one of the juiciest plot points this season.

The intruders are here to shake things up

The new batch of intruders didn’t just happen by chance. Per Daily Mail Australia, an insider spilled that the fresh recruits were handpicked to stir things up after three MAFS couples exited early, leaving plot lines feeling a little… dull.

“They were told from the get-go that they need to create tension and keep the drama flowing,” the source claimed.

In that case, we’re sure we’re not the only ones keen to see how Beth and the other intruders shake up the experiment!

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Who left I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025? All the stars who headed back to reality

Thirteen celebrities swapped the high life for the wild South African jungle on I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025.

Armed with little more than red t-shirts and a deep yearning for their usual luxury items, the stars braved creepy crawlies, gruelling Bushtucker Trials, and nights under the stars. At least it’s all for a good cause!

Julia Morris and Robert Irwin are back as hosts, delivered another epic season of drama, laughs, and unforgettable moments we’ve all come to expect.

With filming set at the edge of the stunning Kruger National Park, the season tested our celebs like never before as they battled it out to win $100,000 for their chosen charities.

This season, the lineup of brave contestants included A-list actress Sigrid Thornton, comedian and TV and radio presenter Dave Hughes, Gold medal Olympian Shayna Jack, The Bachelor‘s Matty J, and Aussie reality royalty, Reggie Bird.

However, with every passing week, the jungle said farewell to another hopeful, bringing us closer to crowning 2025’s Jungle King, Sam Thaiday.

Which celebs made their final exit from camp and returned to their glitzy reality first?

Here’s who left I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025.

Dave Hughes narrowly missed out on making it to the I’m a Celebrity finale and was eliminated during the episode that aired on February 11.

Tina Provis was eliminated from I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 during a double elimination alongside Sigrid Thornton.

During a post-elimination interview with Chattr, Tina said she’s glad she had the opportunity to take part in the revolting Tucker Trials.

“If you haven’t eaten something and thrown it back up, did you really go to the jungle at all?” she laughed.

Sigrid Thornton

I’m a Celebrity 2025 winner: Sam Thaiday crowned King of the Jungle!

After weeks of rice, beans, and insane trials, I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 has crowned its latest King of the Jungle, winner Sam Thaiday!

The former NRL star took out the top spot in the show’s closest vote yet, winning $100,000 for his chosen charity, Find Ya Feet, an organisation dedicated to empowering men of all ages to open up about their struggles, equipping them with the tools to speak out and challenge the status quo.

Sam battled it out in the final three alongside Big Brother icon Reggie Bird and The Bachelor‘s Matty J, with all three reflecting on the highs, lows, and seriously questionable meals that carried them through the South African jungle to the grand finale.

To mark the milestone, the celebs got the ultimate surprise: an emotional reunion with their loved ones. Sam’s wife Rachel and daughters Ellsie and met him at the waterfall, Reggie’s daughter Mia and sister Anita showed up at the creek, while Matty’s wife Laura Byrne and daughters Lola and Marlie-Mae arrived in camp. Cue the happy tears!

But the jungle wasn’t done with the finalists just yet. The trio had to endure one last horror: the Hot Tub Slime Machine — a bubbling bath of rotten eggs, elephant poo, and, because the jungle never lets up, more rice and beans. With their loved ones answering questions to earn stars for dinner, it was a final test of endurance… and also gag reflexes.

The celebs spent their last night in camp reminiscing about their time together before the all-important moment arrived. And while the vote was nail-bitingly close, it was Sam who officially took the crown as winner of I’m A Celebrity for 2025!

Speaking about his chosen charity, Find ya Feet, Sam explained: “Tommy [Herschell] is an absolute legend of a man.”

“I’ve been able to be a part of his workshops previously. His goal is to offer a platform for individuals to share their stories and equip them with the skills to be able to own their problems. He helps provide tools that enable them to shift that ‘get on with it’ culture well after the workshop pulls up.”

“Their vision is to empower every individual with the tools and skills they need to engage in conversations that go well past ‘How are ya?’. I wish I had a mentor like Tommy to come and talk to me as a 13-year-old boy. His workshops give especially young boys a chance to share their emotions in a safe space without judgmental criticism,” Sam shared.

Reflecting on his own experience, Sam opened up about losing his best friend to suicide in 2007.

“If he had a mentor like Tommy at a young age, maybe he would have had the tools to share his emotions and lessen the burden he felt. Maybe Joey would be here today.”

What an incredible cause. Onya, Sam!

Big congrats to Sam and all the celebs who survived the jungle this year!

This MAFS intruder reportedly has a history with one of the season’s brides

Another day, another leaked Married At First Sight (MAFS) participant making its way into our newsfeeds before we get to meet them on our televisions. This time it’s MAFS intruder Teejay Halkias who already has a few reality TV connections.

MAFS bride Jamie’s reported connection to Teejay

The latest update in this space is that MAFS bride Jamie Marinos has reportedly revealed that she has slept with Teejay in the past. And she is believed to have announced the news of their former tryst while attending his wedding, no less.

Per reporting from The Daily Mail Australia, an insider has revealed, “We were all sitting at the main table, enjoying the wedding, and then Jamie just walked over and said, I slept with TJ'”.

Apparently, according to accounts from other guests shared by The Daily Mail, the shocking reveal left Beth Kelly – Teejay’s bride – in total shock.

Who else does Teejay Halkias know from past MAFS seasons?

MAFS 2024 contestant Eden Harper commented on @mafsgossip pap shots of Teejay and follows him — as does 2023’s Bronte Schofield and 2024’s Ridge Barredo.

Ridge and Bronte didn’t immediately respond for comment about how they knew Teejay. However, Eden has confirmed to Chattr that she is close friends with Teejay and that they know each other from Adelaide.

“Teejay and I are both originally from Adelaide and both now live in Queensland, so we have known each other for quite a long time and are great friends,” Eden told Chattr.

“He’s a really nice and polite guy. He’s a social butterfly and is full of energy, enthusiasm and confidence.”

Teejay and Eden talked about the experience before he went on MAFS, with Eden saying: “We’d definitely talked about the pros and cons in the lead up to him going on! I’m hoping for a successful journey for him.”

Teejay Halkias was on Big Brother

Teejay was actually on Big Brother 2023, following in the footsteps of other MAFS 2025 cast members who have graced our television screens before.

Considering it was recently reported that several MAFS couples quit the experiment by the first Commitment Ceremony, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Teejay is an early MAFS intruder to try and solve this issue.

An intruder on Big Brother and now MAFS? What are the odds?

Teejay Halkias has modelled in the past

It looks like Teejay isn’t a stranger to the camera, with his profile on talent agency theright.fit listing him as a model, actor and creator.

He has some spicy beach photos on his profile, as well as shots of modelling activewear and even a wedding tux. He’ll fit right in when it comes to walking down the aisle!

His bio says he’s Greek and Indian. Teejay has worked as a photographic and runway model, and he says he’s starred in TV commercials and music videos previously.

MAFS intruders have notoriously shaken things up in the experiment with the likes of Evelyn Ellis and Madeleine Jevic entering midway through the show in the past.

And hey, they can find love from the show too! From Kerry and Johnny Balbuziente to Evelyn and Duncan James Simpson, the proof’s in the pudding.

Perhaps Teejay will have the same fate? Here’s hoping.

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Reggie Bird talks candidly about being legally blind on I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025

Reality TV icon Reggie Bird (married name Reggie Sorenson) delivered a gut-wrenching moment during the January 21 episode of I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 as she opened up about her experience losing her vision.

This season, hosted by Julia Morris and Robert Irwin, has already brought plenty of laughs and nail-biting challenges in the South African jungle. However, moments like Reggie’s remind us of the real stories and humanity behind the big names of the I’m a Celebrity cast.

Who is Reggie Bird?

Reggie is reality TV royalty. Her star rose as the first woman to win the Australian version of Big Brother back in 2003, stealing the hearts of the nation as a humble fish and chip shop manager from Tassie. She made history again in 2022 as the first-ever two-time winner of the series.

But life hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Reggie. Shortly after her first Big Brother win, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare degenerative eye condition that eventually rendered her legally blind in 2008, after losing 90 per cent of her central vision.

Her battles didn’t end there. In 2022, just months after her second Big Brother triumph, Reggie was diagnosed with Usher syndrome — a genetic disorder affecting both her hearing and vision. What’s more, she has also become an advocate for cystic fibrosis awareness following her son’s diagnosis with the condition.

These days, Reggie inspires others as a professional speaker. Her LinkedIn page says it best: “Things that individually would break most people but Reggie still greets every day with a beaming smile and infectious personality.”

Reggie opens up about going blind

Opening up to fellow campmate, The Bachelor’s Matty Johnson (aka Matty J), Reggie shared just how tough life has been since her Big Brother days.

From being conned by fake TV producers and losing a fortune to navigating trust issues after a broken marriage and the daily challenges of caring for her son, Lucas, who has cystic fibrosis, Reggie’s story is one of strength and perseverance.

Breaking down during an emotional Tok Tokkie to camera, Reggie admitted, “I try to keep going all the time. Sometimes you get knocked down because you try to keep going.”

The most poignant moment came when Matty asked her about losing her vision, asking, “Are you scared?”

“I reckon I’ll probably change when it’s all totally gone. I won’t be able to do as much as what I do now,” Reggie shared in the candid heart-to-heart, explaining what hits hardest for her is the thought of not being able to see her children.

“I just take each day as it comes. I try to make the most of each day because you just don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Despite the immense challenges of her degenerative eyesight, Reggie sees her time on I’m a Celebrity 2025 as a chance to embrace life to its fullest while she still can.

“That day is gonna come, and that’s why I’m so blessed to be here, to enjoy and see all this stuff [and] chuck it in the memory bank.”

Reggie’s story moved Matty to tears who reflected in his own Tok Tokkie: “She’s a mum who’s afraid of never being able to see her kids again because she’s going blind. Suddenly, my struggles seem so insignificant compared to what she’s going through.”

Reggie Bird is in the I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 finale

Reggie is one of the three campmates to make it to the I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 finale. A public vote will decide whether she, Sam Thaiday or Matty J will be crowned the next King or Queen of the Jungle.

Luckily for Reggie, she has the highest betting odds out of the final three to be crowned the winner. In the past, betting odds have correctly predicted who takes out the crown. For example, last year Skye Wheatley had the best odds to win, and she did just that.

However, whether or not Reggie is crowned Queen of the Jungle this season, she’s already a Queen in our hearts.

Australian Survivor 2025’s Nash Gendo: Meet Feras Basal’s friend

Nash Gendo is a Sydney salesman bringing confidence and charm to Australian Survivor 2025

He reckons the hardest part about being on the show is leaving his two kids behind, but he’s not afraid to get vulnerable. “Big blokes do cry. We are very emotional, but we are very strong inside.”

If Nash wins the title of Sole Survivor on Brains v Brawn II, he will walk away with a huge $500,000 cash prize. He just has to defeat 23 other contestants first!

Read on to find out more about Australian Survivor 2025 cast mate Nash.

Nash is friends with Australian Survivor 2024 winner Feras Basal

Australian Survivor 2024 winner Feras Basal is rooting for Nash to win, as the pair are friends outside the game.

On X (formerly Twitter), Feras said he feels like a “proud father” of Nash and referred to him as “my boy”. So cute!

It’s possible Nash asked Feras for some advice before he went on Australian Survivor, so we might see some unorthodox strategy.

Nash makes an outrageous Idol find early on

Spoilers below, you’ve been warned!

A bunch of fan-favourite Australian Survivor contestants had a sneaky preview of Episode 1 of Brains and it seems that Nash finds an idol straight away.

“I found an idol,” Nash declares.

Instead of keeping it hidden for a rainy day, Nash wears it to the challenge and shows it off to all the other contestants.

Will this unhinged strategy pay off? Only time will tell.

Nash thinks his social skills will come in handy

As a salesman, Nash has “determination” and is “very hard to read”. He told Channel 10 that he has an advantage when it comes to working with people.

“When I’m always smiling you’re not gonna tell whether I’m part of your alliance or not. I’m just gonna be telling you what you want to hear and with my confidence and with my charm you’re gonna believe everything I say,” he said.

He does admit he likes to “stir the pot”, so Nash is definitely going to make for good TV!

Australian Survivor 2025: Brain v Brawn II airs from February 17 on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Has the winner of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 leaked?

The finale of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 is almost here, with our King or Queen of the Jungle set to be crowned on February 16. But has the winner of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025 already been leaked?

Some spicy rumours are floating around, so here’s who could be walking away with $100,000 for their chosen charity.

Who will win I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025?

The winner will be determined by a public vote, meaning that Australia will be able to pick their favourite jungle King or Queen. There’s a sneaky way of figuring out who is likely to take away the crown, with Sportsbet sharing some betting odds online.

Tina Provis with the I'm a Celebrity 2025 cast

Big Brother winner Reggie Bird is currently the number one pick to win I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025, with odds of just $1.91. Not too shabby!

Rugby league player Sam Thaiday is hot on her heels with odds of $2.37, followed by The Bachelor’s Matty Johnson at $4.33.

What do the ex-contestants think?

Former MAFS bride Samantha Moitzi thinks she knows who will emerge from the jungle victorious, so could this be a clue?

“My top three is Sam, Reggie and Max,” she told Chattr. “I reckon everyone knows it.”

Two out of three isn’t bad odds, Samantha!

What have fans been saying about I’m A Celebrity Australia 2025?

Fans seem to want Sam to take home the crown, but many believe Reggie is the favourite.

“Sam is a legend, I do hope he wins. Love the way he includes everyone and to get them up and do things together,” one person remarked.

“Sam or Reggie for the win,” another added.

Some believe it would be unfair for reality TV queen Reggie to secure another win on Sunday.

“Reggie is lovely and kind – but she’s made a life from reality shows. She always wins!!! Wish there were more deserving people on these shows,” a fan pointed out.

Max Balegde and Reggie Bird on I'm A Celebrity Australia 2025 who will win?

“If Reggie wins, I’ll never watch this show again,” another agreed.

“I hope Sam Thaiday wins, can’t stand Reggie Bird. She’s won enough reality shows,” a third wrote.

We’ll have to wait and see if these predictions are correct, and the finale is shaping up to be massive!

Everything we know about the 2025 MAFS intruders

With marriages already crumbling at a record rate on Married At First Sight (MAFS) Australia 2025, we’re eagerly awaiting the introduction of the intruders to see if any of them can make it work better than, say, Lauren Hall and Eliot Donovan or Tim Gromie and Katie Johnston.

Could this year’s new intruders make like Jade Pywell  and Ridge Barredo and actually make something work long term? It’d be a shock to us all, but it’s not entirely impossible.

By now we know that both Lauren and Eliot are coming back as intruders, with different partners, with another somewhat familiar face set to join as an intruder also — that being former Big Brother star Teejay Halkias, who starred on the 2023 season of the show.

What do we know about the 2025 MAFS intruder couples

Lauren Hall + Clint Rice

After being put through the wringer with Eliot, Lauren is back and marrying professional golfer Clint Rice. The 43-year-old hails from Tasmania and is recently single with a friend describing the athlete as “super chill and down to earth”, which at least sounds somewhat the opposite of the husband experience Lauren just had.

MAFS' Lauren Hall and golfer Clint Rice
Lauren will hopefully see more success with pro golfer Clint Rice. Photo: Nine

Eliot Donovan + Veronica Cloherty

Will Eliot’s new bride live up to his seemingly never-ending list of non-negotiables? Well in good news, we know that Veronica is 30, and given Eliot wanted to date someone 30 or under, this bodes well for the couple.

Veronica has been in a selection of short films, including Streets of Colour in 2023, and was a Miss Universe Australia National Finalist in 2016 and 2019. Not to be confused with Jacqui Burfoot, who claimed to be Miss New Zealand, but it turns out she actually competed as Miss New Zealand in Miss Yacht International.

According to the Daily Mail however, it won’t be love, with sources telling the publication that Veronica’s a “high-maintenance diva” who’s using the show to advance her career.

Teejay Halkias + Bethy Kelly

If you can’t remember Teejay’s story arc on Big Brother, don’t fret, none of us really watched it, let’s be real. But Teejay placed ninth on the show after 15 days in the house.

Teejay’s got connections in the right (reality TV) places, too. He’s pals with MAFS 2024 bride Eden Harper, who told Chattr that she gave him some tips ahead of his wedding.

“Me and Teejay are good friends! So we’d definitely talked about the pros and cons in the lead-up to him going on! I’m hoping for a successful journey for him,” she said.

Teejay also has a modelling background, with an online talent bio describing him an experienced photographic, runaway, and music video model, with a Greek/Indian background. The site also shows Teejay has modelled wedding shots before too, so MAFS won’t be his first time faking going down the aisle!

As for his new bride Bethy, she hails from the UK but is now Brisbane-based, working as an operations manager at a high-end salon. According to the Daily Mail, she’ll be a bride to watch with a production source saying, “she is not here to fade into the background”.

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Australian Survivor 2025’s Paulie: Meet the Ambulance Australia star

Paulie is a Sydney paramedic competing on Australian Survivor 2025 as part of the Brawn tribe. He’s able to keep calm and collected in tough situations, but he’s also a big fan of CrossFit. He could be a challenge beast to watch out for!

Paulie thinks his skills as a paramedic will help him socially, saying: “For my job, I must connect with people quickly and make them feel at ease. I’ve been doing this job for so long that the skills I’ve obtained from it are part of my everyday life and I think will help me on Australian Survivor.”

Paulie is one of 24 contestants fighting for the title of Sole Survivor on Brains v Brawn II, with the winner taking home a massive $500,000 cash prize. Not too shabby!

Read on to find out more about Australian Survivor 2025 cast mate Paul.

You might have seen Paulie on Ambulance Australia

While Australian Survivor is Paulie’s first competition reality show, he’s no stranger to the camera. Since he works as a paramedic, he joined the cast of Ambulance Australia in 2024 on Channel 10 alongside his partner Jason.

In one episode of Ambulance Australia, the pair rushed to the aid of a burn victim after a food stall cooker exploded.

“I reckon burns are one of the most painful injuries,” Paulie said. “The pain management, airway management, is essential.”

Paulie is a city boy

The one tough problem Paulie may face on the Australian Survivor beach is, well, sleeping rough. He’s a city boy through and through, and said he might struggle.

“I like my city stuff. I go on vacation, but I’ve never lived in an environment like this! I’ve slept on a beach a few times, sure that’s cute but this is going to be hard,” he said.

Paulie’s favourite Australian Survivor players are Feras Basal and Simon Mee

Paulie recently shared on Instagram that his two favourite players are Simon Mee and Australian Survivor 2024 winner Feras Basal, saying they were both “icons”.

Simon is a challenge beast, while Feras is known for his unorthodox strategy. Wonder if we’ll see an interesting combo of the two in Paulie? That would be incredible reality TV!

Did Paulie reach out to past Australian Survivor contestants for advice?

There are some true Australian Survivor icons out there, from King George Mladenov to sneaky Shonee Bowtell, so fans have been wondering if Paulie slid into anybody’s DM’s.

Paulie’s fitness regime might help him on Australian Survivor 2025. Image: Instagram

Turns out that Paulie wanted to make sure he played his own authentic game on Australian Survivor 2025, so he decided to shut out all the noise.

“I thought about [contacting past contestants], but then decided I didn’t want to go into the game with someone else’s strategy in my head,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I wanted to be the master of my destiny and run my own race. I wanted the experience to [be] completely my own. I’m glad I made this choice.”

Hmm, sounds promising! Maybe Paulie is going to go far… possibly all the way. Time will tell!

Australian Survivor 2025: Brain v Brawn II airs from February 17 on Channel 10 and 10Play.

MAFS 2025 cast: Meet the Brides and Grooms saying ‘I do’ this year

Married At First Sight 2025 (MAFS) season is well underway, and the latest instalment has a whole new cast of brides and grooms.

Unsurprisingly, a handful of the cast have reality TV pasts, while some of them have dabbled in acting. No wonder it’s shaping up to be such a juicy season.

Keep reading to meet the cast of MAFS 2025.

Who is in the MAFS Australia 2025 cast?

MAFS 2025 brides

Ashleigh Ackerman

Ashleigh Ackerman on MAFS 2025
Ashleigh Ackerman. Image: Nine.

Ashleigh Ackerman was matched with Jake Luik but their marriage was short-lived. He left the experiment after being slammed for making some controversial comments during the photo ranking task.

Ashleigh owns a dance studio in the Gold Coast and lives with her sister and nephew in a house full of animals.

You can follow Ashleigh on Instagram.

Jacqueline Burfoot

Jacqui Burfoot on MAFS 2025
Jacqueline Burfoot. Image: Nine.

According to her LinkedIn page, Jacqueline Burfoot is quite the smart cookie. Between the years of 2019 and 2025, she worked as a lawyer and investment analyst.

She says she has “the beauty and the brains”; not only does she have a double degree in law and finance, but she claimed to have won the title of Miss New Zealand in 2012. Turns out that was a bit of a sham, and she actually competed as Miss New Zealand in Miss Yacht International.

Jacqui has been involved with some drama with her husband Ryan Donnelly, after he made some inappropriate comments about her to the group.

You can follow Jacqui on Instagram.

Awhina Rutene

Awhina Rutene on MAFS 2025
Awhina Rutene. Image: Nine

Awhina Rutene is a breakout star, and rumour has it she’s tangled up in a cheating scandal involving her husband Adrian Araouzou. The couple have strong sexual chemistry, but they can’t stop fighting. One of the biggest sticking points is that Adrian reacted poorly to finding out Awhina has a child.

Awhina is also a proud Kiwi and calls her twin sister Cleo her bestie. That’s cute!

You can follow follow Awhina on Instagram.

Katie Johnson

Katie Johnson on MAFS 2025
Katie Johnson. Image: Nine.

MAFS 2025 bride Katie Johnson is the CEO of a company called EATS HQ. Back in 2021, Katie made headlines for her random act of kindness.

Katie has an open and friendly nature, but she said she has largely been unlucky in love and is sick of being disappointed. Sadly, MAFS continued that pattern, as she was rejected by her husband Tim Gromie on their wedding day. He made it clear they had no “spark”, and he prefers women who are “petite”, “blonde or brunette”.

Carina Mirabile

Carina Mirabile on MAFS 2025

Perth influencer Carina Mirabile is one of the favourite MAFS 2025 Brides. She is a digital marketing manager and is one of five siblings! She’s paired with Paul Antoine, and appeared to reveal whether or not the pair are still together in an interview with Chattr.

In addition to being a content creator, Carina is an actor who has appeared in a few TV commercials and a feature film called Titan. According to Carina’s Now Actors profile, she’s completed a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and has lived and studied in the United States and London.

Jamie Marinos

Account manager Jamie Marinos is a Greek girl who embodies everything about her culture.

Jamie is coupled with Dave Hand and had instant chemistry at the altar. The pair got married at Sydney’s Carriageworks, the same place Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton and Brent Vitiello and Tamara Djordjevic had their MAFS weddings.

The pocket rocket isn’t afraid to speak her mind and loves to fire up at the Dinner Parties.

Lauren Hall

Lauren Hall on MAFS 2025
Lauren Hall. Image: Nine.

Lauren Hall is the CEO of Mayfair Lane Gifts and calls herself an “old-school” romantic. She isn’t a fan of modern dating and confesses that communicating isn’t her strong suit.

Lauren has a rather interesting connection to MAFS 2024. She’s the ex-girlfriend of controversial groom Jonathan McCullough. The couple dated for three months and split in January 2022.

Her MAFS journey seemed to come to an abrupt end when her groom Eliot Donovan fled their honeymoon, but rumour has it she returns later along with the intruder couples.

Morena Farina

Morena Farina is a wedding MC, DJ and fitness instructor. She is also a mother to two teenagers, and after her 29-year-long marriage ended, she decided to live life to the fullest. She’s the oldest bride on MAFS 2025 but possibly the most outspoken.

Morena has gone rogue and given spicy interviews about her time on MAFS, including one with Abbie Chatfield where she slammed her husband Tony Mojanovski.

Sierah Swepstone

Sierah Swepstone on MAFS 2025
Sierah Swepstone. Image: Nine.

Sierah Swepstone was a contestant of Jimmy Nicholson‘s season of The Bachelor in 2021. He ended up choosing Holly Kingston for his final rose. (The pair are now married with a baby.)

Sierah wants somebody to match her sexual needs, which involves lots of physical touch. Her partner, Billy Belcher, doesn’t seem to be meeting those needs at the moment. It’s possible Sierah will go looking elsewhere, as she was seen getting cosy with Adrian at the last Dinner Party.

Rhi Disljenkovic

Melbourne-based fitness blogger Rhi Disljenkovic is a health enthusiast who runs a wellness Instagram page called Train In Au with her friend Shayna. She just ended a seven-year relationship and is now open to settling down and raising a family.

Rhi has been paired with Jeff Gobbels, who she actually dated for a month prior before it “fizzled out”. The biggest challenge these two will face is getting out of the friend zone!

Tony Mojanovski

53-year-old Woollongong local Tony Mojanovski runs a fishing boat charter company and spends every day on his boat.

Tony has been married twice before, and his bride Morena claims he’s still in love with his ex-wife. This is one match that doesn’t seem like it’s going to work.

Adrian Araouzou

Adrian Araouzou is one of the standout cast members this season. He is a massive foodie, and he runs his own lifestyle sports brand, PAKD Sports.

In his bio, he called himself “a perfect 10 for looks and personality” — which might explain some of his arrogant behaviour!

Ryan Donnelly

Ryan Donnelly is an actor, and a photo on his now-deactivated Star Now account shows him wearing a police uniform for a role on a TV series.

The 36-year-old project manager has dated many “Sydney women” and is sick of putting effort into dates that aren’t reciprocated.

Ryan is shaping up to be this year’s MAFS villain, after describing his wife Jacqui as having “crazy eyes” and bragging about her oral sex skills.

You can follow Ryan on Instagram.

Eliot Donovan

Married at first sight 2025 cast member Eliot Donovan

Eliot Donovan has reality TV connections to Beauty and the Geek‘s Troy Thompson, The Bachelor‘s Kiki Morris and Australia’s Next Top Model‘s Simone Holtznagel, as they’re all following him on Instagram.

The 35-year-old Queenslander is aspiring to have a nuclear family. Eliot wanted a traditional relationship where he was the provider, and even though his wife Lauren held the same views, she was deemed too old for him. He wants a bride in their 20s, which is a red flag.

Eliot ditched the experiment during his honeymoon, but is apparently coming back with a new bride later. Can’t wait to see what drama unfolds!

Billy Belcher

Billy Belcher is 31, from England, a plasterer and was added to the MAFS bucks party at the last minute to make the whole experiment a bit more exciting.

The Perth-based Brit is humorous and hoping to forge an emotional connection with his bride Sierah before getting too physical.

Jake Luik

Jake Luik is a high school teacher at Southern River College, a public high school in Gosnells, Western Australia.

He has been in two relationships, one lasting 10 years and the other three years, which included a called-off engagement. Jake says he blames himself for the relationship’s demise, citing poor communication skills as the reason.

Jake left the experiment after being called out for his problematic comments during the photo ranking task, even though his wife Ash wanted to work on their relationship.

Jeff Gobbels

MAFS 2025 groom Jeff Gobbels found himself in a very peculiar situation when he realised he already knew his TV bride, Rhi.

“Hi Rhi,” he said to her, before adding: “What the hell?”

Jeff said he was looking to find his “forever partner”.

Jeff was raised by a single mum who he calls his hero, cute! Seeing her work hard to provide for her family and knowing how tough it was made him realise he wanted to start a family with the right woman.

Dave Hand is a part of the MAFS 2025 cast. He has a substantial social media presence with almost 30,000 followers on TikTok.

The Victorian-based builder has a lot of tatts and seems to have really hit it off with his new MAFS bride, Jamie.

Dave is also a towering 200cm or 6’7″, but despite his height and tattoos, he is just a big softie at heart.

Paul Antoine

Just two years ago, Paul Antoine was one of 21 contestants who tried to find love on Channel Ten’s The Real Love Boat Australia.

The Frenchman moved to Australia with his family 11 years ago. He said his parents were married for 40 years and that he wants a similar marriage for himself.

Turns out he already knew his MAFS bride Carina, and had even ghosted her in the past! However, the cute pair seem to have started fresh and are super compatible.

Tim Andrews

Married at first sight 2025 cast Tim
Married at First Sight 2025 cast member Tim Andrews. Image: Nine.

Tim Andrews is a 39-year-old primary school teacher from Victoria. Tim said being a teacher brings him so much joy, and he wishes to have his own kids one day.

Tim calls himself a “big, cuddly teddy bear”, which is probably the opposite of what Australia thinks.

He was nearly engaged, but sadly, his girlfriend broke up with him. Now that he’s recovered from the heartbreak, he is ready to meet his wife. That said, Tom hasn’t had the best time this season, with reports suggesting he even refused to take part in the promo shoot.

It’s probably his own fault, because he rejected his wife Katie in a pretty brutal way. The couple left at the first Commitment Ceremony instead of dragging it out.

We are so excited to see how it all turns out this season!

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Harrison Reid reveals if the I’m a Celebrity Tucker Trials are real or fake

One of the most memorable parts of I’m a Celebrity Australia is when the contestants have to gobble down absolutely horrific items during the Tucker Trials.

Throughout the season of I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025, we’ve seen the campmates consume a Breakfast Bowel — made up of a boar’s anus, a chicken heart and beef tripe, a Crappa-cino — made up of lamb tongue and oesophagus with sour milk foam and a Pancake Surprise — a cow’s penis.

Considering how vile these dishes are, some fans on social media have been questioning if the dishes are actually fake. However, campmate Harrison Reid has assured Chattr in a post elimination interview that the contestants are actually eating the repulsive items.

“I had that same kind of thought in previous years but I actually ate humble pie because that was horrible. It is real.”

Harrison during the Block-Bug-Ster Video food challenge. Image: Ten.

Harrison reveals the worst thing about the food challenges

Poor Harrison had to take part in two food challenges. The first was Block-Bug-Ster Video which saw him dine on cow brains and a goat’s anus.

While Harrison legitimately consumed those two animal parts, he said the worst part about the challenge wasn’t actually the awful taste.

“It was horrible. But, if you think it looks bad, the smell was 1000 times worse, you cannot even comprehend how bad it was. I’d vomit and but I’d still have that same taste in my mouth for about two days after,” he told Chattr.

Harrison went on to reflect on his second eating challenge, which saw him chow down on a selection of pies with his hands tied behind his back.

“There was one nice pie in there, but the rest were chicken hearts, animal off cuts and grilled cockroaches. Then, when I was eating it, because my hands were tied behind my back, they put flies and maggots in there.

“I couldn’t see out my goggles because of the cream that went on top of a couple of the pies. So I could just feel worms in my mouth wriggling around, but the crunch of the fires as well. So it was horrific.”

Get us a bucket.

Are the I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 Tucker Trials safe?

One would think that consuming animal parts covered in flies wouldn’t be exactly sanitary.

However, Harrison said the contestants are given a rundown before undergoing the food challenges.

“It’s all covered, we get a safety briefing and we can tap out at any time, but when you’re hungry, it’s not really an option,” he said.

Fortunately for Harrison’s stomach, he’s now been yeeted out of the jungle, so he’ll have the option to enjoy roach-free pies again.

The I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 finale airs on February 17 at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

MAFS 2025’s Carina reveals her biggest regret and it involves Morena

The most recent Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party was explosive. Most of the drama involved the group calling out Ryan Donnelly for his cooked comments about Jacqueline Burfoot behind her back, and Morena Farina got pretty fired up.

When Paul Antoine tried to turn the heat on Morena, mentioning that he’d heard her yelling and slamming a door in a possible argument with her husband Tony Mojanovski, all hell broke loose. Morena pointed her finger at Paul and unleashed on him, calling him a “little boy”.

Paul’s wife Carina Mirable sat shellshocked as the drama unfolded, but she tells Chattr her biggest regret is that she didn’t get involved.

“I actually wish I could go back in time and speak up for my husband and just have his back a little bit more,” she admits. ”I was kind of caught in the middle of it and I was just listening to what was out playing in front of me.”

“It was pretty brutal how she spoke to Paul, and I think he really tried to get his view across… what he heard is what he heard. And it was very evident that she was not in a very good place with Tony and in her relationship.”

MAFS 2025 bride Carina
Carina is paired with Paul on MAFS. Image: Nine

Carina adds that there was nothing wrong with Paul questioning Morena and Tony’s relationship because he did hear her yelling and slamming a door.

“I think her reaction and pointing the finger at him was just a bit uncalled for and unnecessary. I think she can be a little bit blindsided by her old traditional mindset,” she says.

Carina thinks Tony isn’t the villain Morena makes him out to be

Carina also tells Chattr that Morena doesn’t “understand anyone else’s point of view”, and that it’s “her way or the highway”.

The bride mentions she tried to convey the acts of kindness Tony was making to Morena, but she didn’t listen.

“I was trying to come from a place of you know, Tony bought your kids flights, and it’s only been what, two weeks in? That’s a form of love language that he’s reflecting on to you, that he’s trying to show that he’s showing up for you,” she recalls.

“How can you not see the positiveness in that? But yet, I feel like Morena was seeing the negative in a lot of things that Tony was trying to implement in their love life.”

Tony and Morena MAFS 2025 Dinner Party
Tony and Morena on MAFS. Image: Nine

This comes after a former MAFS post producer said that Tony doesn’t seem “entirely innocent”, but condemned Morena’s behaviour in a scathing TikTok

Morena will surely continue to pipe up and spill more info about what went on behind the scenes, so we’ll have to see what happens next!

Fierce, strong, and unapologetically honest, she’s ready for the game but admits her blunt honesty could create trouble. “I am very honest, sometimes too honest,” she said to Network 10.

“If people can’t handle it, that’s not my problem,” she added

Still, while Ursula is disciplined and focused, she’s also ready to show her fun side: “I’m funny. I have a very dry sense of humour and am loud and bubbly when I want to be.”

Zen, the youngest member of the tribe and a Hip Hop artist from the Gold Coast, is eager to embrace nature and test his mental and physical limits.

Zen feels the hardest part of his time on Survivor will be holding back his leadership instincts and allowing others to take charge.

“Having to hide the testosterone levels and simmer down the level of intelligence and… play under and allow someone to take the leadership position. This will be the hardest part,” he said to Network 10.

Zen plans to use his strengths and “psychological tricks” to win the game.

“I wouldn’t say manipulation, but I’ll definitely be using my influence to get what I want,” he added.

Former MAFS producer slams Morena’s claims and calls her edit ‘accurate’

Controversial Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 bride Morena Farina has been going rogue lately, slamming her husband Tony Mojanoviski left, right and centre. She even dropped some massive bombshells on Abbie Chatfield’s podcast, and randomly DM’d *checks notes*… Harrison Boon?!

But a former MAFS post producer has come out swinging at Morena, saying that she can’t blame the edit for her wild behaviour on screen. You know, like yelling at Tony a bunch of times before turning on Paul Antoine at the Dinner Party and calling him a “little boy”.

“I’m a former Married At First Sight producer and I can tell you that Morena is getting this edit because she’s a psycho. That’s why she’s getting this edit,” Alexandria Funnell said on TikTok.

“It’s not because she’s been taken out of context, or ‘cause Tony’s secretly married. It’s because she is like this. And she can come out swinging, she can come out arguing all she wants, I can promise you this will be an accurate reflection of what she’s like as a person.”

@alexandriafunnell Morena has ahd her fair share of unfair things in her life. But she can’t deny the way her behaviour is being perceived. #selfreflection #accountability ♬ original sound – Alexandria Funnell

The former MAFS producer added that Morena’s behaviour “isn’t acceptable”, saying that the bride likely doesn’t think her behaviour is as “intense” as it comes across on screen.

“I think she thinks it’s fine, which is while she’ll be like, I don’t get the hate, I don’t get the hate! No this was, all these reasons, I have all these reasons to be feeling this way. I was so misconstrued,” she added.

In the comments, Alexandria noted that she doesn’t think that Tony is “entirely innocent”, but condemned Morena’s behaviour.

Does a ‘bad edit’ really exist?

That’s Showbiz Baby! podcast host Alexandria told Chattr that it’s “complicated” when it comes to contestants having “bad edits”.

“There’s no single truth here. That’s why there’s so many conflicting versions of events — even from producers and participants themselves,” the former reality TV producer explained.

“I’ve worked on scenes where, after post-production, a participant later criticised the edit in the media — and I strongly disagreed with them. I’ve also been on seasons where multiple participants were unhappy with their portrayal, leaving us baffled because what aired was an accurate reflection of how they behaved during the experiment.”

@alexandriafunnell Replying to @ants ♬ original sound – Alexandria Funnell

She concedes that there are always complex “nuances” that come into play, as contestants can have different “reasons, justifications and perspectives” as to who is really at fault. And of course, this is hard to cram into a two-and-a-half-minute scene.

But for the most part, she believes the edit “follows the natural personalities and dynamics that emerge as the experiment progresses”.

“How often has a season’s ‘villain’ later shown themselves to be exactly who they were portrayed as? A lot! Once the show has aired, there’s no more editing — just them being themselves,” she said. “It happens every year and you can see it happening with Morena now.”

Another reality TV producer defends Morena

However, another reality TV producer tells Chattr they are asked to milk contestants’ emotions for all they’re worth. Placing brides and grooms in high-pressure situations with experienced producers means tensions can certainly be heightened.

“I was taught early on by a senior producer how to make reality TV contestants cry. You’re told to find their ‘wound’ and ‘pick the wound until it bleeds’,” our source spills.

“It’s manipulative, but that’s what goes into making good TV.”

Plus, the producer said they’ve spent hours trawling through footage and transcripts to find the perfect sound bite that suits the narrative or storyline.

“You can’t physically put words into somebody’s mouth, but you can take things out of context or leave parts out,” they say.

One thing’s for sure, this definitely won’t be the end of the ‘bad edit’ debate. Many of the MAFS 2025 cast have already spoken out about their edits, and with intruders on the horizon, there’ll likely be more to come!

MAFS 2025 Episode 12 Recap: Jacqui asks Ryan to rank his… sister?

No one talks about their wife’s intimacy behind her back on our watch. And you know what? The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 women should’ve spoken to Jacqui after they heard about the comment too. I think the whole MAFS 2025 cast deserves a good wake-up call at tonight’s dinner party! Let’s recap.

The MAFS 2025 brides recap the week at the dinner party.
Ladies, it would’ve been nice to give the girl a heads up, no? Image: Nine.

As Ryan and Jacqui walk in, he tells her to have his back tonight, likely because he knows he will be in the firing line. As soon as they arrive — Ryan wearing that disgusting jacket he must’ve borrowed from Jayden Eynaud, mind you — they try and convince everyone how well they’re doing after pressing the reset button.

Ryan and Jacqui enter the MAFS dinner party together.
We are a Super Nintendo console, duh. Image: Nine.

MAFS dinner party table calls out Ryan

It all comes crashing down, however, when Sierah asks Jacqui if her mouth has been on or around Ryan’s penis. When she says no, it makes the women wonder if Ryan has been telling fibs about their sex life. Would it surprise literally anyone?

Billy questions Ryan's comments about jacqui at the MAFS dinner party.
Billy sure is making his play for the camera time this season, isn’t he? Image: Nine.

The “crazy eyes” comment is very quickly brought up by Billy over dinner and Jacqui didn’t even care, really. Did she watch Mr Deeds? That’s where my mind goes any time I hear this comment, which is surprisingly a lot on this show.

“Crazy eyes” is a mean thing to say, Jacqui. From your husband or from anyone. Don’t justify his behaviour by saying you actually do have crazy eyes. And don’t talk about yourself like that.

Jacqui finds out what Ryan said about her during MAFS intimacy week.
Now you decide to stop backing yourself? Really? Image: Nine.

Then the comment about giving head (we assume that’s what he said) is brought up, and she starts throwing arms and declaring she deserves better. She must be feeling really humiliated. I would be. She is allowed to act however she wants upon finding out her partner spoke about her like that.

Ryan is called out for his rude comments about wife Jacqui during MAFS intimacy week.
This is your fault. And your hideous jacket’s. Image: Nine.

Jacqui brings up the photo ranking challenge — again — and suggests that Ryan ranks his sister, who he clarifies is beautiful, among the MAFS 2025 brides in the room. I’m really trying to understand her, and then she goes and says something as absurd as that.

Big Dave becomes a Big Fucking Angry Giant and annihilates Ryan. I wish it happened earlier, but I’m just glad it happened at all at this point. And I’m glad it came from a man, because you know how men are. They need one of their own to tell ‘em.

Morena’s not happy

You know who’s angrier, though? MORENA. This bride has been going ROGUE on social media and on Abbie Chatfield‘s podcast alike, suggesting the producers have pulled a fast one on her. Do I think they’ve edited her to make her look worse than she is? Absolutely? Does she still make me uncomfortable, like she does Carina? Yeah.

Morena argues with Paul while Carina looks uncomfortable at the MAFS 2025 dinner party recap.
Lady, you’re scaring us. Image: Nine.

She grills Ryan before taking aim at Paul, who she calls a “little boy”. I’m just glad the bloke got some airtime. Oui!

We finish the episode with a bit of footsies between Sierah and Adrian. He is now using his body parts to communicate because his speech is failing him.

Anyway, MAFS 2025’s cheating scandal has arrived! Yay. Hopefully it’s what we’ll be unpacking in the next recap.

A version of this recap initially appeared on the Talking Schmidt Substack and has been reproduced here with permission.

MAFS 2025’s Adrian addresses ‘footsie scandal’ with Sierah in rogue TikTok

Adrian Araouzou has taken to TikTok to poke fun at the ‘footsie scandal’ shown at the Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party and hints at an upcoming cheating scandal between him and Sierah Swepstone.

During the final moments of the second MAFS Dinner Party, which aired on February 12, Awhina Rutene was seen on one side of the table venting about her relationship with Adrian to Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels after her husband had moved to sit near Sierah.

The camera then panned into Sierah and Adrian rubbing feet under the table before the MAFS bride sent a subtle air kiss his way.

What did Adrian say about the ‘footsie’ scandal?

Adrian posted a clip to TikTok the day after the Dinner Party aired and shared a tidbit of info about what viewers can expect to see in upcoming episodes.

“I’m going to address what happened last night at the Dinner Party,” he began.

“This is what I 100% can confirm,” he added before panning the camera down to his feet.

“That no one in their right mind [is] playing footsies with these feet. Like, respectfully, this toe is than this toe. I don’t know if that is normal, and I don’t know what is going on.”

“So that is what I can confirm. As for the rest, you’re all going to have to stay tuned and see what happens next.”

What happens between Adrian and Sierah?

The MAFS promo shows Sierah telling the relationship experts at the Commitment Ceremony that she’s “opened up” to Adrian.

Daily Mail Australia has reported that the MAFS cast went out for a “boozy night”, and Adrian and Sierah continued the party back in her apartment while Billy was down the hall watching football in one of the other MAFS participants’ rooms.

The publication said that the couple secretly went out to dinner a few nights later, and their partners, Billy Belcher and Awhina Rutene, learned about their tryst at the commitment ceremony.

Adrian vaguely addressed the cheating scandal in an interview with Chattr.

“I’m a nice person, I care about everyone. Everyone has feelings, and if I see someone upset, regardless of who it was on the show, whether it be someone on the show or production, you know, I will definitely go out of my way to make sure that they’re okay,” he said. “And, yeah, I mean, with me and Sierah, that’s what I’ve done. And as for any funny business, we have to wait and see.”

MAFS 2025’s Sierah Swepstone rushed to hospital after cheating scandal episode

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 bride Sierah Swepstone suffered a medical emergency on Thursday and was swiftly taken to hospital.

As per Daily Mail, She was seen holding her chest while looking upset, with a paramedic and police officers helping her into an ambulance.

The ambulance took the 31-year-old bride to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in the middle of the day. At this stage, it’s unknown what caused her distress, but it happened the day after the ‘cheating scandal’ she’s involved in with groom Adrian Araouzou aired on TV.

ICYMI, during the MAFS Dinner Party, footage appeared to catch Adrian and Sierah playing footsies underneath the dinner table. Sierah also looked to be gazing at Adrian intensely and puckered up her lips in his direction.

The preview for the next Commitment Ceremony hints at Sierah talking about Adrian, but it’s unclear if anything romantic actually happened between the two, or if they’re just good friends.

Adrian told Daily Mail that talks of footsie was “ridiculous”, saying that there wasn’t anything intentional going on.

“Look, if bumping feet under a crowded dinner table is cheating, then half the cast must be guilty. It’s ridiculous,” he said.

“If that is cheating, then I also cheated with Jeff [Gobbels], Rhi [Disljenkovic] and everyone else at the Dinner Party because we were all sitting close together.”

Did Adrian and Sierah cheat on MAFS 2025?

According to reports, Adrian and Sierah went on private dinner dates without telling their partners.

MAFS 2025 Adrian
Adrian is paired with Awhina Rutene on MAFS. Image: Nine

However, Adrian told Chattr that he “cares about everyone” and claimed he was simply comforting Sierah during a time of need.

“I’m a nice person, I care about everyone. Everyone has feelings, and if I see someone upset, regardless of who it was on the show, whether it be someone on the show or production, you know, I will definitely go out of my way to make sure they’re okay,” Adrian said.

“And yeah, I mean with me and Sierah, that’s what I’ve done. And as for any funny business, we have to wait and see.”

The next episode is definitely going to be juicy!!!

The real Apple Cider Vinegar whistleblower has revealed how she confronted Belle Gibson

Netflix’s latest hit Apple Cider Vinegar is a sensationalised version of Aussie Belle Gibson’s story. You know, the woman who faked cancer, made a bunch of money and then was exposed.

Belle was one of Australia’s first wellness influencers, and she claimed that she was able to manage terminal brain cancer using natural medicine, exercise and diet. She created The Whole Pantry app, wrote a cookbook and pretended to make large donations to charity.

Chanelle McAuliffe, the whistleblower who exposed Belle’s lies, is depicted in the show as Chanelle (Aisha Dee). She recently spoke out on Listnr about how “crazy” it was confronting Belle back in 2014.

“I did go there having one per cent of me thinking, oh gosh, what if I have this all wrong? Obviously, nobody wants to question somebody who’s dying of cancer, this young single mother,” she said.

Belle Gibson's friend Chanelle McAuliffe

“However, that night, it just confirmed everything.”

Chanelle said she sat Belle down and demanded to see medical reports, records or any oncologist reports to prove Belle had cancer.

“She said that she didn’t keep any of that paperwork because it was a negative energy in her house,” she said. “She had just announced her cancer was stage four. It had just progressed all through her body, her blood, her uterus, her spleen, and this was basically a death sentence.”

When Chanelle asked who had given her the diagnosis, Belle said “Doctor Phil” had picked her up and taken her to be diagnosed at his clinic.

Apple Cider Vinegar whistleblower Chanelle McAuliffe questions Netflix show

There are some key differences between Chanelle and the character played by Aisha Dee. Unlike Apple Cider Vinegar, Chanelle wasn’t Belle’s manager but a close friend, and she didn’t know Jessica Ainscough in real life, who fans believe inspired the Milla Blake (Alycia Debnam-Carey) character.

In a TikTok, Chanelle said she had “nothing to do with the Netflix show” and raised some important points.

“I don’t entirely feel comfortable around some of the ethics of this type of storytelling and how the truth has been distorted in the show, and I just really hope that the core important messages about this story isn’t lost through the glamorisation of this show,” she said.

“Remember, there’s been really vulnerable people in real life that have been impacted by this.”

Chanelle has hinted in the comments that she’s going to make some more TikTok videos to reveal what was true and what was changed for the show, which will be interesting to see!

Apple Cider Vinegar is streaming on Netflix.
