Now that both The Brains and The Brawns have finally started to cement theirAustralian Survivor 2025 alliances, a Tribe Swap has been thrown into the mix.
The Brain and Brawn tribes met host Jonathan LaPaglia for what they thought was a Reward Challenge, but instead, they were told they’d be picking new buffs.
Each castaway selected a brown paper parcel with a new buff safely wrapped up inside. If the package turned out to contain a red bluff, they’re part of the new Brains tribe, and if they unwrapped a green one, they will form the new Brawn tribe.
The shake-up was particularly disappointing for The Graduate alliance on the Brains side, which consisted of Karin, Kaelen, Zara, AJ and Myles, as they’d all banded together at the last Tribal Council to eliminateAlly.
Unfortunately for The Graduates, they were split up; Myles and Zara joined the new Brains tribe and Karin, Kaelen and AJ were together on the new Brawn tribe. However, in a recent shake-up, Zara was voted to switch from Brains to Brawn.

Belle Gibson‘s Instagram account disappeared after she was outed for her cancer scam, but now, a decade on from the scandal, it appears it’s been re-activated.
Belle Gibson launched her Instagram account @Healing_Belle back in 2012. On the platform, she shared her so-called “cancer journey” with her followers and documented her holistic approach to fighting the disease she claimed she had.
Over the years, Belle racked up hundreds of thousands of followers and even released an app and a cookbook called The Whole Pantry. The concept behind all her outlets was that it was possible to treat cancer through diet changes.

However, in 2015, it was revealed that Belle never actually had cancer. After articles outed her scam, Belle came clean during a 60 Minutes interview with Tara Brown.
When Belle’s cancer scam started to unravel, she swiftly disappeared from Instagram and has stayed out of the public eye since the 60 Minutes interview.
However, now that her shocking story has been revealed in the mini-series Apple Cider Vinegar, which has made it to Netflix’s top 10 shows globally, it appears that her original account has popped back on Instagram.
Is it Belle Gibson’s real and original account on Netflix?
A TikToker made the discovery of the return of Belle’s Instgram account in late February, and it appears that the account is the same one that Belle used when she was sprucing her fake cancer.
“Guys, Belle Gibson has reactivated her Instagram accounts. @Healing_Belle has surfaced and I can show you this is not a fake account,” TikToker Charlotte Scott began in the clip.
Charlotte showed her followers that Jess Ainsley‘s account —who the Apple Cider Vinegar character Milla Blake was loosely based on and who was frenemies with Belle IRL — follows @Healing_Belle.
Jess passed away from cancer in 2015 at the age of 29. Charlotte went through Jess’s Instagram friends and found Belle’s original page, which means she would have followed her before she died. You can read more about the true story behind Apple Cider Vinegar here.
Charlotte goes on to show that the tagged photos section of the reactivated @Healing_Belle account has posts from Jess.
While Belle doesn’t have any photos on her grid, it has been gaining followers since the reactivation. She went from having 126 thousand followers on February 4 to 129 thousand followers on February 28.
So, while it certainly appears as though it’s Belle’s original account, there’s no information to prove that it was Belle who reactivated it.
At the time, Lauren didn’t hold back about her opinions of the other brides. She called Jamie a “drunk bogan” and has described other brides as “scruffy and messy”.
Spoilers follow, so if you don’t want to ruin the show — look away now! This is your final warning!
An insider tells Chattr that everything reaches boiling point at the Couples Retreat, and it sounds super spicy.
“Basically, Lauren thinks everyone except for Rhi [Disljenkovic] and Carina [Mirable] are drunk bogans, trolls, scruffy, messy and gross, and she doesn’t want to associate with them. She’s sticking her nose up at the rest of the brides,” the source spills.
“Jamie and Awhina [Rutene] decide to call Lauren out for her behaviour at the Girls’ Night during the Couples Retreat, saying, ‘It’s really rude that you’re calling us these horrible names behind our back’.”
Jamie apparently gets fired up at the Couples Retreat. Image: Nine
However, Lauren doubles down and says it’s how she feels, and she doesn’t want to speak to any of the other brides.
“Lauren ends up walking off while Rhi and Carina follow her to offer support, bringing her back to the group.”
When Lauren rejoins Girls Night, Awhina and Jamie are still furious with her and a “massive argument” occurs.
“Jamie at one point launches up out of her seat to yell at Lauren,” the insider claims. “It was getting out of hand and almost became a physical fight. One cast member even thought Jamie might throw a punch at Lauren, but it didn’t get that far.”
The second Couples Retreat fight on MAFS
It appears that Lauren and Jamie get their husbands involved, because the next night, the couples go at each other’s throats.
“The boys get involved, and then it’s Dave [Hand] and Jamie yelling at Lauren and Clint [Rice],” the insider spills.
“Plus, Jamie then calls out Carina and Rhi, because they were standing up for Lauren. Jamie was saying, ‘How could you stand up for this girl that slags us all off?’”
Lauren supposedly refuses to apologise. Image: Nine
Our insider also claims that Lauren becomes “disrespectful towards Clint”, so many of the brides aren’t happy with her behaviour.
It’s going to be super interesting watching Lauren’s storyline as it develops! She’s definitely giving main character energy for sure.

Paul Antoine’s violent outburst on Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has divided viewers, and a relationship expert has told Chattr he should have been removed from the show.
ICYMI, Paul was furious when he heard that his wife Carina Mirable slept with famous rapper Quavo, saying she had disrespected him. Concerningly, he used language that appeared to blame Carina for pushing him to become violent, saying he felt “trapped” when she requested he stay in the apartment to sort through their differences.
Gottman-trained Couples TherapistMichelle Janssen, who has worked in intimate partner violence, believes Paul staying on MAFS is “powerfully communicating” that his behaviour is acceptable.
“It was an opportunity for MAFS to go, ‘We won’t tolerate this.’ And also, he needs help to look at why he thinks [punching a wall was] okay. He needs to look at why the apology was not an apology, and that could have been such a powerful thing to communicate to viewers — particularly for women watching who do experience some incidents in their home,” she tells Chattr.
“We need to have a zero tolerance policy for violence… I really wish this would have been an opportunity to discuss what makes a healthy relationship, rather than making this a sound bite.”
Paul apologising to Carina after his outburst. Image: Nine
What concerned Michelle the most was the fact that Paul’s apology included a caveat, where he avoided accountability by putting some blame on Carina’s actions.
“It was essentially, ‘I’m sorry, but she’, so it was that language that bothered me,” she explains. “We’re looking at power and control… and no one can make you get violent. He has many choices in how he chooses to respond.
“It’s okay that he was upset about it. It’s not okay how he went about it. So when he is ‘taking accountability’, he’s actually minimising, pushing blame, denying responsibility, and it confuses the issue.”
Expert calls out a ‘really dangerous idea’ which could play out on MAFS
An inside source told Chattr that as part of Paul and Carina’s couch session, Carina conveys the idea that jealousy is love. However, it’s unclear if this will make it into Sunday’s episode.
“The most concerning part of their couch session was that Carina said their argument was a sign that their marriage is real and that they’re in love. Everyone was really shocked, and Alessandra [Rampolla] had to step in to say, ‘No honey, this is not love. Violence isn’t love’,” the source claimed.
Paul and Carina at the Commitment Ceremony. Image: Nine
Michelle says women aged 16 to 24 are in the highest risk category for intimate partner violence. That’s partly due to this “really dangerous idea” that “jealousy is passion”.
“It’s this idea that, ‘Oh they’re jealous, so they must really care about me’, when actually it’s communicating, ‘I view you as an object or a possession that I’m entitled to have power over’,” she explains.
“Some incidents in the home where it’s not necessarily that they’re being physically hit, but there is that punch to the wall, and it’s as though the person or their partner is controlling the emotional temperature of the home,” Michelle adds. “It’s still creating a dynamic of fear and aggression as being okay.”
While it looks like the MAFS experts will take Paul to task on Sunday night, the biggest statement producers could have made would have been to remove him from the show instantly — to show Australia that this type of behaviour is unacceptable in any circumstance. Let’s hope they learn from the backlash and make changes for future seasons.

Australian Idol 2025 is taking a page out of America’s Next Top Model‘s book with Transformation Week, which will see the remaining contestants receive a “glow up”.
Transformation Week was introduced duringAustralian Idol 2024 and is returning for a second time.
So, how does Transformation Week work? We’ve got all the details below.
Australian Idol’s Top 21. Image: Seven
Do the Australian Idol contestants get a makeover during Transformation Week?
They do! The remaining 21 Australian Idol contestants are all getting a new look.
While the results certainly aren’t as invasive as America’s Next Top Model in it’s heyday — think weaves and meltdowns — the contestants are given a more marketable edge. In the past, this included direction from a stylist team, as well as some upgraded threads.
“I’m going to get my hair chopped off,” he told his wife over Facetime before adding to the camera, “I think my wife is super nervous about what’s going to happen with this Transformation Week.”
Dylan debuted his new look on stage, ditching his standard Crocs and ripped shorts for a suaver look with much shorter hair.

What else will happen in Transformations Week?
Glow-ups won’t be the only thing happening during Australian Idol 2025’s Transformations week. After getting their makeover, the Top 21 will perform for judges Marcia Hines, Kyle Sandilands, and Amy Shark in the hopes of snagging a spot in the Top 12.
Seven of the contestants will fight for their lives in the competition each night over Sunday, Monday and Tuesday’s episodes until all of the contestants have performed.
Each judge has one Fast Pass, which allows them to send a contestant straight through the Top 12. The judges will have to agree on the other nine contestants.
Who will survive? We’ll know by Tuesday night!
Australian Idol 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
In Olivia’s MAFS season, an argument with fellow bride Domenica Calarco resulted in Dom smashing a glass at the dinner table, something that the public largely celebrated. Olivia has since become one of the most notorious MAFS ‘villains’ of all time, and has spoken out in the past about how she received a ‘bad edit’ that drove this narrative.
In an interview with Chattr, Olivia says that on her season of MAFS, there was supposed to be a zero-tolerance policy regarding violence.
“[Producer] Tara McWilliams said, ‘Violence is not on, not happening. So much as a clenched fist and you’re out the door’,” Olivia recalls.
“I’m sure there was something in the contracts about it, it was made very clear that any whiff of violence is complete cause for immediate dismissal.”

Olivia calls Paul’s punch on MAFS “completely inexcusable”
While some fans argue that MAFS is a TV show so producers had to let the storyline play out, using intimate partner violence for promos and ratings has left others with a sour taste in their mouths.
Besides, we’ve seen other participants on reality TV be removed due to violent or inappropriate behaviour in the past. On Season 2 of Love Island UK, Malia Arkian was removed from the villa after getting physical towards Kady McDermott.
“Any sort of violence, any sort of potential for escalating behaviour is completely inexcusable,” Olivia declares. “We’ve seen a precedent in disturbing behaviour happening on a film set [before]. If we look at Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under, they showed producers breaking a fourth wall and removing a participant from set [after] disturbing behaviour.”
ICYMI, producers and crew members of Below Deck Down Under Season 2 were praised after stepping in after Luke Jones entered Margot Sisson‘s bed while she was intoxicated and hadn’t consented. Producers stepped in and removed Luke from her room, and he was fired shortly after.
When hearing the argument that keeping Paul on MAFS normalises and excuses his behaviour, Olivia says it “makes [her] feel sick”.
“People take MAFS as gospel in Australia, and for them to give somebody aggressive a redemption story is sickening to hear. They should be empowering women to leave, and to be setting an example,” she says.
The violent act has understandably brought back trauma for Olivia, and she can’t help but wonder why people turned on her when she was also a victim.
“It’s really good to see the Australian public condemning violence on MAFS, but it’s also quite vile to watch when violence that was enacted towards me was celebrated,” she says.
“I think they wanted to edit it to make it look like I baited it and therefore deserved something violent to happen towards me.
“They had a storyline that they wanted to push, and violence was not to be seen as a mark against Domenica.”
Over time, the idea that there needs to be a “perfect victim” has slowly been quashed. While Olivia says she didn’t bait Domenica, even if she had, she didn’t deserve violence.
“I believe that there are people that still hate me so passionately that they will excuse violence towards me no matter what. So I hope that the idea of a ‘perfect victim’ is more [widely] thrown out,” she adds. “But unfortunately, there’s enough loud mouths that stick tot he old school ‘you deserve that’ narrative.”
MAFS’ Olivia speaks out on Instagram
On Instagram, she said while she wasn’t watching MAFS, she has found it “inescapable online” and was so “triggered” she had to share her opinion.
“This is actually so triggering because this is what happened to me on camera. Yet it was edited to insinuate that I somehow deserved to be intimidated by a wine glass smashed,” Olivia said.
“I was publicly mocked, shamed, and bullied for physical abuse that someone inflicted on me. And my abuser gets to have a broken wine glass tattooed on her arm like a badge of honour.”
Olivia Frazer’s Instagram post. Image: Instagram
She went on to criticise the production company behind MAFS, claiming it’s not the “first instance of violence” on set.
“Production is yet again failing participants in terms of protection, I’m sure. I just hope that whatever aired tonight starts a conversation about what abuse really is and does [not] reverse victim blame as it did to me.”
Channel Nine and Endemol Shine Australia release statement about MAFS
Chattr reached out to Channel Nine to ask about what support MAFS participants have on the show and received a statement confirming Carina and Paul stay in the experiment.
“Nine and Endemol Shine Australia has treated this matter extremely seriously. Our first priority at all times has been the wellbeing and safety of the participants and after extensive consultation with Carina, she wanted to remain in the experiment with Paul. We continue to provide support for Carina and Paul,” a spokesperson said.

“Nine and Endemol Shine take their obligations in respect to the health and wellbeing of the participants of this program extremely seriously. All participants have access to the show psychologist and welfare resources during filming, during broadcast and once the program has ended.
“Nine also have an additional service for participants should they like or need further individual and confidential psychological support. This service gives participants access to clinicians to support those involved in the program in relation to their experiences. This service is available to all participants for as long as they need it, it does not end.”
At least it looks like Channel Nine is taking this seriously, and hopefully it doesn’t get turned into ratings fodder.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
The Traitors Season 3 is one of the juiciest reality shows airing at the moment, and it’s available to stream for free in Australia.
This show has everything, your favourite TV villains, a gorgeous Scottish background and a murder mystery to solve. Sign me up!
The Traitors Season 3 focuses on 20 celebrities, a mixture of reality figures and actors. The majority are “Faithfuls”, but some are “Traitors” — as in people who get other contestants evicted. The Faithful have to reveal who the Traitors are but must do it without getting banished or worse, murdered!
Who has been banished from The Traitors Season 3?
Carolyn Wiger
Carolyn Wiger. Image: Peacock.
Former Survivor contestant Carolyn was the third Traitor to be murdered. While she managed to avoid raising speculation about her status for most of the season, she was banished after her fellow traitor Danielle exposed her at the Round Table.
Ciara Miller
Ciara Miller. Image: Peacock.
Earlier in the season, three players were selected by The Traitors to be placed in coffins. The Traitors chose Nicky, Ciara and Jeremy and murdered the latter.
Ever since then, the other contestants have been suspicious that The Traitors put one of their own in a coffin to remove suspicion. With Nicky already banished, the group chose to get rid of Ciara, too.
Rob Mariano
Rob Mariano. Image: Peacock.
Rob has suspicion placed on him ever since he led the charge against fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen. After weeks of narrowly avoiding elimination, he was banished at the Round Table.
Wes Bergmann
Wes Bergmann on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Wes is the most recent Faithful to be banished from The Traitors. Wes went all in on exposingRob, but his lack of friendships and aggressive attitude sent him packing.
Nikki Garcia
Nikki Garcia on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Nikki was a Faithful who everyone thought was a Traitor. Sadly, she couldn’t fight the allegations and was banished.
Bob the Drag Queen
Bob the Drag Queen on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Bob the Drag Queen, a Traitor, was kicked out by his fellow teammates. Due to Bob’s growing suspicions about three late-entrants to the show, Boston Rob voted him out.
Tony Vlachos
Tony Vlachos on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Tony was banished by his Faithfuls due to his odd requests. He was hesitant to sacrifice for the team and wanted a female player to sacrifice themselves in the first challenge. Both moves sent him packing.
Wells Adam
Wells Adam on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Wells, who has appeared on The Bachelor US and Bachelor in Paradise, was banished in the second episode. After Robyn Dixon accused him, he was sent home.
Who has been murdered in The Traitors Seasons 3?
Sam Asghari
Sam Asghari. Image: Peacock.
Sam, otherwise known as Britney Spears‘ ex, was murdered because Traitors Danielle and Carolyn worried that he was becoming too suspicious of them.
Chrishell Stause
Chrishell Stause. Image: Peacock.
Chrishell was murdered in a dramatic fashion, which saw Traitors Danielle and Carolyn murder her face to face.
Derrick Levasseur

Derrickwas murdered after he came after Boston Rob, who’s a Traitor.
Bob Harper
Bob Harper on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Bob, or Bob H, a Faithful, was tragically murdered in the most recent episode of The Traitors. No one wanted to see this man go, apart from Boston Rob, but clearly, what he says goes!
Robyn Dixon
Robyn Dixon on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Robyn was the third housewife murdered on The Traitors. It seems the Traitors are out for blood for the housewives. Boston Rob got his way again, much to Danielle Reyes chagrin.
Jeremy Collins
Jeremy Collins on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
Jeremy was the third murdered Faithful in Season 3. When he was called up with fellow contestants Nikki and Ciara, he pleaded to spare his life and he would help the Traitors. It seems the plea fell on deaf ears.
Chanel Ayan

It seems no housewife is safe in the Scottish Highlands! Real Housewives of Dubai cast member Chanelwas the second to be murdered on Season 3. The Traitors chose another housewives to cause chaos amongst the Faithfuls, cheeky!
Dorina Medley
Dorinda Medley on The Traitors. Image: Peacock.
RHONY alum Dorina was the first to be murdered on Season 3 of The Traitors. Her murder by the Traitors caused outrage among fans as they wanted to see more of Dorinda during the show.
Episodes of The Traitors Season 3 drop weekly on Fridays on 10Play.
All viewers had seen was that Rhi had brought up the texting scandal — a storyline seemingly discredited — and this led to Jacqui “crying all week”.
However, Jacqui has now spoken out about the situation and claims there were some key moments viewers didn’t get to see.
“[Rhi] sat at the Commitment Ceremony and made multiple digs at me including saying horrible things like my eyes burn holes at the back of her head, and she went on and on. It was on top of a fake text, I was like, this is the last straw. I’d had enough,” Jacqui tells Chattr.
“I went home that night and was bawling my eyes out, so then the next dinner party I came back and addressed it, but unfortunately, they cut all the content from the Commitment Ceremony, so it looks like I was complaining about the text again, which I wasn’t.”
“[The editors] are making me look delusional,” Jacqui adds. “I went out yesterday in public and people are like, ‘Oh my god, you’re not crazy. They make you look so crazy on TV’, and I was like, ‘I know, I know.’.”
Image: InstagramImage: Instagram
Does Rhi and Jacqui’s feud continue on MAFS?
According to an inside source, Rhi and Jacqui mostly put their beef to bed in the upcoming weeks — until the partner swap challenge.
“I don’t appreciate my husband lying to me about sharing a bed with another wife,” Veronica is believed to have told Rhi.
After Rhi and Veronica go “head to head”, Jacqui is said to have stepped in and defended Veronica.
Rhi and Jacqui had an argument at the most recent Dinner Party. Image: Nine
“After Jacqui tells Rhi, ‘I wouldn’t want my husband lying about sharing a bed with someone else’s wife either’, Rhi explodes again and blows up at Jacqui,” the insider claims.
“Rhi then hates Jacqui after that and the feud continues.”
This whole partner swap challenge is going to be spicy and it can’t come soon enough!
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
In a shock twist, Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025’s Paul Antoine apparently slid into a woman’s DMs back in November. Filming wrapped sometime in September 2024, so it didn’t take long for him to get over his wife Carina Mirable, it seems!
A woman named Emily shared a set of screenshots of a conversation she supposedly had with Paul on TikTok, and it’s a doozy.
Now, take this with a grain of salt, because these haven’t been confirmed by Paul himself, but it’s still very interesting!
Paul starts the conversation by admitting he found Emily on Tinder and then looked her up on Instagram. She’s a little bit concerned by this, but continues chatting to him anyway.
When Emily says she’s not sure if she wants a relationship but also doesn’t want a one-night stand, Paul appears to copy and paste an answer that looks like it has been generated by AI.
“Here’s a funny and sarcastic reply that shows understanding and agreement,” his message reads. “Ah, the classic ‘open to everything yet committed to nothing’ vibe. Totally get it! Guess we’re both riding the ‘figure it out’ wave!”
He then waxes lyrical about being from France, saying that it “sets him apart from all her Aussie dudes”.
When Paul says he’s a FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) worker — which makes me think this *could* be him — Emily isn’t keen on meeting up.
TikTokers drag MAFS’ Paul after his DMs go viral
Of course, the TikTokers in the comment section had a field day. Most couldn’t believe Paul kept talking about his French heritage.
“He’s really turning me off French guys for real. Hey did you know he’s French? Not sure if he mentioned it eight times yet, but he’s French,” one person joked.
“He’s so obsessed with being French,” another added.
“Not him playing the ‘I’m French’ card,” a third remarked.
Carina and Paul on MAFS. Image: Nine
Others made fun of Paul for possibly using an AI generator like ChatGPT.
“The use of ChatGPT but he still had no game?” one person asked.
“Did he use ChatGPT I’m WHEEZING that’s so ick,” another said.
“Lmaooo he used ChatGPT and didn’t even remove text at the top,” a third commented.
Well, it looks like Paul has learned a lesson! Don’t go sliding into people’s DMs when you’re about to be on national television, because they will eventually emerge.

The ~walking red flag~ had instant sexual chemistry with Awhina Rutene when they met, but that’s about the only positive thing to have come out of their relationship.
According to Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lotpodcast, Adrian acted like a total fuckboy during the beginning of the experiment.
“While Adrian was in MAFS with Awhina, in a relationship, after they had slept together, he left the serviced apartment, was with someone who wasn’t one of the MAFS brides, slept with them, and then came back to the apartment and slept with Awhina,” co-host Oscar Gordon claimed.
“By the way, that’s confirmed from multiple MAFS participants.”
Abbie called him a “revolting pig” and said he “shouldn’t have been on the show at all in the first place”.
When do Adrian and Awhina leave the MAFS experiment?
It looks like Adrian and Awhina are over, after his family brutally tore Awhina and her twin Cleo apart during the Family and Friends meet and greet.
If you need a refresher, Adrian’s bestie Jasmin Weston, also known as JasminsEats, made a snarky comment about Awhina being a mum. Cleo stepped up and defended her twin against the gang of mean girls, and Adrian’s family ended up storming out. Good riddance!
Awhina and Adrian on MAFS. Image: Nine
However, a sneaky inside source tells us that Adrian and Awhina actually patch things up and end up lasting all the way to Final Vows.
It’s hard to imagine, but could Adrian actually improve his behaviour? I’ll believe it when I see it.
The insider claims that Adrian and Awhina say no at Final Vows, but end up spending the night together afterwards. Guess that sexual chemistry was too strong to ignore!
The next few weeks of MAFS are gonna be juicy, and I’m here for it.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
While he appeared remorseful the next day, he also low-key tried to put some of the blame on Carina because she wanted him to stay in the apartment instead of giving him space, so he felt “trapped”.
In an upcoming promo for Sunday night’s Commitment Ceremony, expert John Aiken is seen reaming Paul out while he’s on the couch. So, do the experts force Paul to leave the experiment after his violent outburst? Or is he allowed to stay?

What happens at the commitment ceremony with Paul and Carina?
According to an insider, the experts hold Paul accountable on Sunday night and threaten to kick him out of the experiment.
“The experts took it seriously and they had a go at Paul,” a source tells Chattr.
“But the most concerning part of their couch session was that Carina said their argument was a sign that their marriage is real and that they’re in love. Everyone was really shocked, and Alessandra [Rampolla] had to step in to say, ‘No honey, this is not love. Violence isn’t love.’”
Their couch session went on for hours, because the experts didn’t want to minimise what had happened. An insider said that some cast members believed Paul should have been removed from the experiment, but production tries to avoid that when possible.

“It was scary for the girls, because all these men had a bit of a boy gang and minimised it a bit,” they claimed.
“It was hard to witness and be part of the group when something so toxic could be swept under the rug.”
Do Carina and Paul make it to Final Vows?
It looks like Carina and Paul make it to Final Vows, with our source claiming they stay together until then.
However, the source claims the couple chose not to stay together at Final Vows and have since parted ways.
Curious to see who else stays together after the show? We’ve got all the tea on the remaining couples here.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
The disturbing event happened after an evening out with fellow MAFS couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, which wasn’t filmed. Carina explained that it happened when the four participants were driving home.
“In the Uber, I was putting on music, and I put on a song, and I said a comment that I’ve slept with the rapper,” Carina said in a producer-led interview during the Dinner Party episode that aired on February 26.
Carina said that when they got home, Paul was being distant, so after apologising, Carina gave him space and went to bed.
“That’s when he got really angry and he punched the wall.”
While the rapper that Carina hooked up with wasn’t named during the episode, Daily Mail Australia has reported that it’s American artist Quavo.
So, who exactly is Quavo?

Quavo was in the hip-hop group Migos
Quavo was formerly in the hip hop group Migos alongside rappers Takeoff and Offset, and the trio is best known for their 2017 song Bad and Boujee.
There were rumours of a drift between the group in 2021 when Quavo and Takeoff announced that they were releasing a project together. Takeoff was then fatally shot at a Houston bowling alley in November 2022, and Quavo, who’s his uncle, was there when the shooting took place.

Quavo has worked with some huge artists
Quavo has worked with some of the biggest names in the rap industry. He’s released music with Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty and 21 Savage.
He also performed Future alongside Madonna at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 and was featured on Justin Bieber‘s fifth studio album Changes.

When did Quavo and Carina sleep together?
Neither Carina nor Quavo have confirmed that they did hook up.
Quavo was scheduled to be a special guest on The Kid LAROI’s November 2024 Australia tour but pulled out, reportedly due to visa issues. Quavo was also booked to play in Perth and Sydney with Migos in 2018, but the group cancelled for unknown reasons.
However, while Quavo hasn’t spent time in Australia, one of Carina’s Instagram highlights show her attending a glamorous party in Hollywood in 2022. So, if Quavo and Carina did hook up, it could have been then.

The stakes are getting higher on Australian Idol 2025 as the competition narrows and Australia’s most promising talents battle it out for the top spot, like Gisella Colletti.
The 16-year-old contender stood out since her first audition with her show-stopping vocals and mega stage presence.
Find out more about Australian Idol’s young gun, Gisella.
Gisella Colletti’s Australian Idol journey
Gisella first impressed us when she performed at a Marcia Hines concert, delivering a stunning rendition of I Am Changing by Jennifer Holliday.
The performance earned her a coveted Golden Ticket, cementing her place in the next round of the competition.
Since then, she’s continued to deliver standout performances, including a breathtaking take on Without You by Harry Nilsson, which even garnered a standing ovation.
Where is Australian Idol’s Gisella from?
Gisella hails from Perth, Western Australia, and is a student at Corpus Christi College, where she’s been honing her skills in theatre productions. Most recently she played the role Truly Scrumptious in the school’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Corpus Christi College has even been rallying behind Gisella on their socials, cheering her on as she takes on Idol.
She’s a certified theatre kid
Gisella clearly loves to tread the theatre boards. She’s taken on iconic roles like Ariel in The Little Mermaid, performing Part of Your World with the Joondalup Symphony Orchestra for 101 Years of Magic: Celebrating the Music of Disney.
If Gisella looked familiar before Idol, it might be because she’s not a stranger to Channel 7, having performed Survivor by Destiny’s Child for the 2024 Channel 7 Telethon alongside three other singers, helping raise funds for sick, vulnerable, and disadvantaged children in Western Australia.
The competition is heating up on Australian Idol 2025 as this year’s talented hopefuls battle it out for the title of Australia’s next music superstar. Among them is small-town rock chick Iilysh Retallick, who has been turning heads with her powerhouse vocals.
It’s been an epic time so far, with the initial Top 30 Golden Ticket holders steadily whittling down. As eliminations continue, the pressure is mounting.
So has Iilysh is proving she has what it takes to go the distance?
Who is Australian Idol 2025’s Iilysh Retallick?
At just 17, Iilysh is one of the youngest contestants to make it through on this season of Australian Idol.
Iilysh first caught attention in the auditions with her soulful take on You Oughta Know by the rock icon, Alanis Morissette.
“I started singing as a little girl, jamming with my Dad out in the back shed,” the singer wrote on her Instagram.
“He along with my mum and brother have taught me everything I know so far. Music and singing has always been a major priority in my life.”
“I am on a journey to share my passion and capture each moment as I learn from each experience.”
Her love for rock has shined throughout her performances, including her electrifying cover of Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet during the Top 21 round.
Where is Iilysh from?
Iilysh hails from Culcairn, New South Wales, and attended Billabong High School, where she was Year 12 captain.
Even her school has been cheering her on, posting their support on social media. Cute!
Culcairn is about as small-town as it gets.
“There’s only a thousand people there,” she told the judges during her audition.
Technically, the 2021 census puts the number at 1,483, but close enough!
It’s not her first time on TV!
Before Australian Idol, Iilysh appeared as a featured artist in the 2024 Schools Spectacular, ticking off another iconic Australian show.
What we learned about Paulin this Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 episode isn’t okay. Violence and reactive behaviour are inexcusable, and trying to justify them in any way is deeply problematic.
These MAFS recaps are generally light-hearted and sarcastic, and the intention is not to minimise the seriousness of what Paul did. With that being said, let’s recap.
Paul’s MAFS confession
Paul and Carina slept separately after he punched their apartment door. He visited Carina to apologise for his behaviour and had the audacity to say that the things she was doing and saying on the night led to his reaction.
Just when you think it can’t get any worse. Image: Nine.
This is basically abuser-logic 101. Speaking of…
“That’s never going to happen again,” Paul tells her. I don’t think I need to unravel this statement. It should have never happened in the first place.
Seeing “wellness advisor” come up with his name as he cries to the camera about his actions is the most ridiculous thing. He is the last person we should be taking wellness advice from.
I’ll pass. Image: Nine.
Pre-dinner party energy
Lauren‘s hair is really high tonight.
Her ex-husband, Eliot, is trying to reason with Veronica after she minimsed his trauma in the last episode.
She does not appreciate him “inciting an argument,” which is far too proper a phrase for me to hear at 7:30 p.m.
“Enjoy your last dinner party,” Eliot tells her as she walks out. Audible gasp and pride all in one radiating out of me right now.
The MAFS dinner party chaos
At the dinner itself, Paul jumps right in to tell everyone what he did. There is serious shock and disappointment in the room from the MAFS cast; however, for something so serious, it really was glazed over.
Looks like John will be doing the dirty work yet again. Image: Nine.
I hope the experts school him so that viewers understand the severity of this way of thinking and behaving.
Adrian tells the table that he has, in fact, gone out for a “nice dinner” with Awhina. To Nando’s! Why does Sierah get a meat plate, and Awhina gets the budget protein?
I deserve the best sausage. Image: Nine.
Morena tells everyone that Tony wishes he were with child. Tony tells Morena her personality gives him “the shits”. Same, sometimes.
Jacqui thinks Rhi has broken the “rules of humanity” by bringing up Jacqui’s message to Jeff on the Commitment Ceremony couch.
I think you have your Mean Girls quotes mixed up, babe. Image: Nine.
Aren’t the couples meant to talk about their MAFS 2025 week with the experts? Jacqui impacted her week and relationship. Not Rhi’s fault.
Please apologise to me Rhi so I can hysterically laugh afterwards thanks! Image: Nine
Eliot tells the table how Veronica was frustrated with his confession letter. “So my pain isn’t good enough? That’s what it felt like,” he explained.
BUT HOW DID IT MAKE YOU FEEL!!!! Image: Nine.
We should never devalue or minimise someone’s struggles. It’s all relative. I’m actually very here for this Eliot redemption arc.
You’re a miracle worker. Image: Nine.
Veronica sure is making it easy for him.
Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
MAFS fans have been busy speculating online what the big announcement could be, with many thinking Paul is about to divulge he has a love child on the way after the show also teased a baby bombshell. “I wonder if Paul’s secret tonight, is that he got a girl pregnant just weeks before the experiment started,” one person speculated on a MAFS fan page. “I think he got Carina pregnant,” someone else commented.
However, as The Daily Mailreported on February 16, Paul’s confession has nothing to do with a baby and what he says is set to absolutely shock the participants and experts.
Here’s what we know about Paul’s confession on MAFS
While The Daily Mail didn’t release Paul’s name at the time of publishing, the site said a groom was set to be at the centre of controversy when he “discovers something upsetting about his wife’s sexual history”. A source went on to tell the publication that the groom was so enraged, he punched a wall in their apartment.
“He completely lost control,” the insider said. “It’s probably his biggest regret on the show. He was absolutely fuming, and no one knew what to do.”
MAFS’ Paul is set to confess he lost his temper at tonight’s dinner party. Image: Nine
“Paul, Carina, Jeff [Gobbels] and Rhi [Disljenkovic] were out for dinner together when Carina told them something Paul didn’t know about her,” an anonymous participant told Yahoo Lifestyle.
“When they got home, Paul brought it up and they had a big argument. He wanted to leave the room and she was trying to stop him, and then he just lost it and punched a hole in the bedroom door.”
According to the site, producers had to step in and ask Carina if she felt safe before repairing Paul’s damage to the apartment.
Does Carina have a romantic history with Drake or Post Malone?
While we’re yet to discover if Carina discloses who the person in question was that made Paul so angry, the MAFS bride was spotted with US rapper Drake in early February, with Paul nowhere to be seen.
An insider told The Daily Mailthat Drake took notice of Carina and her friends and paid for their lunch bill.
“It was clear there was some serious chemistry there. Drake didn’t take his eyes off her the entire time,” the insider said, with Carina and her friends later spotted in the VIP section at Drake’s concert.
In an interview with podcast MAFSfunny, Carina divulged more about the lunch and how it came about. “I’ve got friends who live overseas, and they came on tour for Drake’s concert, and we all conversed with them, organised it, got ready, and yeah, they were there at the same time, and it happened to be good timing,” she said coyly.
New Ideahas also reported that Carina once attended a Drake party in New York where she also met Post Malone, although she didn’t tell the publication when that occurred.
Interestingly, MAFSFunny continued their investigation into Carina’s rapper, finding out that the dinner party with Paul’s confession was filmed on September 10, with Carina hearing the rapper she had hooked up with on the radio “the day before”. So the podcast went through who had been played on the radio around those dates, and the person in high rotation? None other than Post Malone.
Look, there’s been a lot of drama so far on Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025, and if you’re feeling a bit exhausted by it all, well, same. So let’s lighten things up, shall we?
While it’s pretty common knowledge that MAFS participants have their social media accounts taken off them while the show is airing, a few of them have gotten around that caveat this year by spilling some tea on their business accounts (cough, Jacqui Burfoot and Morena Farina, cough).
Another MAFS star with a sneaky little business account is Australia’s favourite groom Dave Hand. But he’s not out here spilling tea or ruining storylines before they air. He’s just minding his own business and going about his usual daily life, and all of a sudden, Aussies everywhere have taken a new interest in… caulking.
MAFS fans are getting real thirsty for Dave’s secret TikTok account
Caulking. Know much about it? Me neither, but suddenly caulking TikToks are racking in millions of views. Well, on Dave’s account anyway.
Suddenly I must know more about caulking. Photo: TikTok
In case you quickly need to know, caulking is a flexible material used to seal gaps preventing air and water leaks in building materials, and it can also be used to bond different materials together. And yes, I paraphrased that from Google.
Moving on. As Dave goes about his day and shows off his job, his TikTok account for @siliconevalleycaulking is now sitting at nearly 50,000 followers as MAFS fan spot him in their algorithm, and there’s a real mix of thirst and longing for the emotionally intelligent groom.
“Dave, we need copies of you for us women all over the world in bulk,” one person commented. “Good lord, I’d die for him,” another more dramatic fan said. “Excuse me while I go uncaulk our pool area,” someone else threatened.
And then, there were the kinda (very) horny comments. “I have some holes that need caulking,” one person said.
And I need Jesus now.
Dave’s even getting offers from potential future wives, in the case that he and Jamie Marinosdon’t work out. “If you and Jamie end, I’m here (otherwise love you, Jamie, you’re amazing),” one hopeful person said. “Do you have brothers?” another person asked.
“Whatever woman gets to grow old with this man hit the spiritual jackpot,” someone else longingly commented.

Australian Survivor 2025 is back, and a few castaways are already making names for themselves. One of them? 38-year-old film director Rich Hughes.
Hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, Rich is arguably the beefiest member of the Brains tribe and has already managed to ruffle a few feathers.
But, if you’ve found yourself having deja vu when you catch sight of Rich on the screen, there’s a good chance it could be because you’ve seen him in a famous meme.
We look into Rich’s meme past and do a deep dive into everything you need to know about him.
Survivor’s Rich is in a viral meme
If you’re familiar with the Tornado Selfie meme, otherwise known as ‘Here It Comes,’ then you’ve probably seen Rich before.
A YouTube video of Rich appearing to run straight into a cyclone in Australia, titled Crazy Guy Runs Into Outback Tornado To Take Selfie, features none other than our very own AustralianSurvivor larrikin.
The clip racked up over 22 million views and was eventually turned into the Here It Comes meme, which was shared hundreds of thousands of times online.
However, Rich hasn’t actually run head-on into a cyclone (that we know of). Instead the video-turned-meme was created by Woolshed, a production company that Rich is the creative director of, as part of a viral marketing campaign for the film Into the Storm.
Woolshed also released the infamous fake video of a man jumping off a cliff and coming face-to-face with a shark.
What does Australian Survivor 2025’s Rich Hughes do for work?
Rich is a film director who, according to his official Ten bio, has worked with some of “the biggest actors” in the industry.
Per his website, his portfolio includes both creative and commercial projects, with brands like Budweiser, Main Event, and Adidas under his belt.
In 2021, he made his feature-film directorial debut with The Enforcer, starring Antonio Banderas and Kate Bosworth, which is pretty bloody epic.
In fact, he credits his creative mindset as the reason he identifies as a Brain.
“Some people have a calculator in their mind. Mine is a paintbrush. I love coming up with ideas and I’m pretty good at it,” Rich said.
He’s engaged to a fashion model
Rich has admitted the hardest part of being on Survivor is being away from his fiancée, fashion model Rhiannon Lee.
According to his bio, Rhiannon is the one person who truly “gets” him and is able to deal with his personality, which he confesses has landed him in trouble more than once.
Rich Hughes with fiancé Rhiannon Lee. Image: Instagram
He’s already on a few people’s elimination radar
That personality is already causing some friction at camp. Rich hasn’t exactly been the most useful around camp, and some fellow Australian Survivor tribemates are taking notice.
Ally Kettle has been openly gunning for him, while Logan Johannisen went as far as to say in Episode 3 that the noises he makes make her “blood boil”. Yikes!
On the flip side, he did earn himself some strategic brownie points by exposing Indy to The Coven alliance in Episode 2.
Rich seems to know what he’s about, though.
“I’ve been told I stir the pot my whole life and sometimes I don’t even know I’m doing it. I don’t mean to, but it happens. I’ll be doing that on the beaches. Life’s more fun when you stir the pot a little bit,” he has said.
Just be careful you don’t stir it too much, Rich!
