During episode nine of the 2023 season (which was uploaded to 10Play on December 13) Wes decided to become exclusive with Brea, sending the rest of his girls home.
The episode began with Wes sitting down with a producer, revealing he’d made a YUGE decision; with the producer saying this was a Bachie first. Given Nick Cummins had already taken the crown of choosing no one, this was ANOTHER cray-cray first…and actually, it’s kinda cute!

Earlier in the day, Wes had chatted with Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman, telling them that he was planning to ask just one girl to be his GF. After the initial shock, they were all like, “Why didn’t I think of that?!” because seriously, Luke just needs to choose Ellie and put the rest of the girls out of their misery…
“A friend of mine said, ‘Wes, once you get out, I need to ask you a question. I feel like the Bachelors know from day one who they want to end this with,'” Wes said in a confessional. “To which I said, ‘I don’t know I’ll have to tell you later’.”
He then went on to say that during the first night, he had noticed Brea straight away.
“I looked over to the back. She was very nervous and I just knew.”

When telling Brea of his decision, he admitted that their “spark had kept on growing”, before popping ye olde “exclusive” question!
Naturally, she said yes and they skipped off into the sunset… or did they?!
The overnight date spells trouble for Wes and Brea
Now BF and GF, Brea accompanied Wes on an overnight stay. While they had an incredible time, when it came time to sleeping arrangements, things got, well, a little awkward.
ICYMI – Wes’ only personality during this entire season has been the fact that he is a virgin, a revelation that has not only been of concern for Brea but was also part of the reason Jade self-eliminated.
Cut back to the overnight and Wes revealed that he didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as Brea which left her feeling a little… perplexed.

Tim Robards has slammed SAS Australia for editing out a “horrific injury” he incurred while competing on the reality TV show.
Tim was one of the two 2023 contestants to make it through the rigorous SAS recruitment process, and he apparently did so with a torn abductor muscle
“I felt like in the series, they didn’t really show a lot of my journey. One big part on episode 8, I actually saw my doctor … I tore my abductor,” Tim told Daily Mail Australia.

Tim said he was frustrated that the huge event got left of the cutting room floor.
“It was a pretty serious injury and they never showed it. They didn’t make it part of my storyline, which was disappointing as that was a big part of my journey,” he said.
The former The Bachelor lead said that leaving his injury in would have added more suspense to the show.
“It gave jeopardy to whether I would get through and I think a lot of people at the end were thinking I looked like the fittest guy that was left, so I’d probably get through, but I was actually struggling so much underneath and none of it came easy to me.”
He added that producers cut “so many things” from the show, saying: “I pushed through luckily and didn’t tear it … they knock back the severity of just how hard that show is. They cut out so many things.

How bad was the injury?
A torn abductor muscle is a pretty serious injury. Abductors are a group of muscles that rotate a an arm or a leg, and a tear can cause very severe pain. Recovery generally involves a lot of rest and sometimes surgery.
Tim said that the pain he suffered was extreme, and added that the doctor wasn’t sure if he should continue on the show.
“It was so painful to push through. I had to go and see the doctor and he said I had partially torn it and it could come all the way off, but it’s up to me whether I want to keep going,’ he said.

He used the final challenge as an example and explained that he thought he would be crying in elation when he found out he passed the selection, but that wasn’t the case.
“What happened in reality was, we went through that last day, but we never knew when the end was. Right before they brought us up and told us that we’d passed, we had to sit in this bloody rock crevice for an hour, and all the adrenaline from the past challenge had worn off,” he said.
“By that time we’re like, ‘Come on, we’re freezing cold. Is this the end?”

Sweeney also revealed another hectic component of filming in Australia — schoolies.
Schoolies of course is the annual event where HSC students kick back for a week of debauchery following their exams. And it turns out Sydney was in the thick of it while filming her latest project, Eden on the Gold Coast!
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, he asked whether she had learned any “Aussie slang” while she was spending time here.

“While I’ve been there, they had this thing called the schoolies, and it’s when the high schoolers graduate and they go and have their big huge spring break party,” Sweeney told The Late Night host.
“They shut down all the streets and the schoolies go out, and then the ‘toolies’ go out too, and those are anybody that is older than 21. And they put wristbands on them to know that there are tools trying to pick up younger kids.”
Adding to this, she added another term — which we truly had no idea about — foolies.
“And then anybody that is still in high school that goes out also gets a different colour wristband and they’re called the ‘foolies’. When they aren’t old enough to be messing around, so they’re fools.” LOL!
While it was completely baffling to the Hollywood star, she did admit Australia was “awesome”!

Who is Eddie Benjamin?
Born in Bondi, Sydney, 21-year-old Eddie has collaborated with the likes of Sia, Meghan Trainor and Justin Bieber.
In 2021, he revealed to Euphoria Magazine that his father was a drummer and he grew up surrounded by music.
By the time he was a teenager (which he still practically is), he had already learned to play a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar and bass.
“My parents played a huge role in my artistic upbringing. They never pushed me to do anything and really gave me freedom,” he said in an interview with Wonderland for his December 2020 cover story.
Once in High School, Eddie formed the band Haze Trio, winning competitions around Australia before his big break came when he was just 16 years old.

So, now that they’ve officially been dumped from the villa, it’s time to find out whether their relationship survived the real world!
Nate and Georgia told Nine Entertainment that they initially split when they got back to Sydney.
“After we left and got back to Sydney we tried to give it a go, but life was really hectic so we had a bit of a break,” Georgia explained.

Ollie and Tahnee are still living together
Tahnee spoke about her and Ollie’s break up on her podcast Chuffed. While giving some insight into what happened with their relationship, she revealed that she and Ollie are still living together.
She explained that they’ve signed a joint lease together, and with the current high cost of living, they’re still shacked up together despite being broken up.

Two-time Emmy-winning actor of Brooklyn Nine-NineAndre Braugher has died at age 61.
Braugher passed away following a brief, unspecified illness. His long-time rep, Jennifer Allen confirmed the sad news to Variety.
The actor was best known professionally for his role as Raymond Holt in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He was in 153 episodes from 2013-2021. He also played Detective Frank Pembleton in seven seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street.

How do betting odds work?
Betting odds are based on dollar value. If someone bets $1, they’d receive back the amount the contestants are listed at. For example, if a punter bets $1 on Mckenna leaving with Ben, they’d receive a $1.57 return if it happened. This corresponds with the amount deposited, so $10 would turn into $15.70, $100 would turn into $157, and so on.
Have betting odds correctly picked the winner before?
Yes! The winner of Brooke Blurton’s season of The Bachelorette in 2021 was pegged to be David Garayeli on the betting site.
Although Blurton tried to throw speculators off the scent during interviews by dismissing the theory, Garayeli did end up winning the season.

Pictures have leaked of front-runner Natalie Benson leaving an Airbnb during filming looking distraught, suggesting that she won’t win The Bachelors 2023.
Natalie, who’s built a strong bond with Bachelor Ben Waddell on the show, was pictured leaving the accommodation on July 31, which was right around the time that the finale was filmed.
The photos were published by Daily Mail Australia and the publication said that the onlooker reported that Natalie looked ‘visibly upset and exhausted”.
“She was acting very suspicious, and had three large suitcases with her name on them and was trying to avoid eye contact,” they added.

Does Ben Waddell leave the show single?
Despite his struggle with shyness, Ben Waddell has been the most in-demand suitor on The Bachelors 2023, however, his latest move suggests that he left the show alone.
According to Daily Mail Australia, the 36-year-old was spotted with his arms around a mystery blonde woman while attending Vodka Soda &’s Pool Club Summer event in Sydney on Friday, December 1st.
The publication reported that Ben was overheard saying that he was excited for the premiere because he was happy with all the friends he made on the series. Keyword friends.

Going by his appearance at the Vodka Soda &’s event there’s every chance that Ben left the show single, and the recent pap shots of Natalie support that theory.

Adrian Portelli became a well-known figure after buying houses from The Block on the past two seasons.
But, his foray into Reality TV isn’t over, with the news that he has a link to someone on the current season of The Bachelors.
Adrian’s ex-fiance Anastasia Iliopoulos is competing as a contestant on The Bachelors 2023 (part two?!). The couple split last year after their values “didn’t align”.

Why did Adrian and Anastasia split?
While the couple cited misaligned values are the reason behind their split, Anastasia went into more detail at the time.
“For me our values did not particularly align, there were certain things that he wanted that I am not willing to do, and that does not make him a bad person, it just makes us different in what we want out of love,” she told the Herald Sun.
She added that life with Adrian wasn’t as fancy as one would expect.
“We woke up, we made breakfast, we worked all day, we worked all night then we went to bed,” she said.
“It was not as extravagant as it looks. We were just the same old west side people we grew up as. It did not seem like the high life when you were in it.”
Adrian has a new partner called Karlie Butler who’s due to give birth to their son soon.

Channel 10 has been gearing up for the premiere of Gladiators Australia 2024 for months now, however, it’s suddenly been quietly delayed by a week.
The new delay comes after the show was originally pushed back from January 7th to January 8th, 2024.
The Gladiators revival’s new start date of January 8th, has since been changed to January 15th, and fans have one question… why?
Well, the network hasn’t released an official statement about the delayed start, however, TV Blackbox has reported that it has to do with viewership.
Apparently, “audience research” has indicated that the later air date will attract more viewers, which is likely connected to everyone getting silly over the festive season and forgetting all about reality TV.
The Instagram page has edited all the captions to correlate with the new start date, and the graphic design team (probably) did some overtime repeatedly editing the images, see below:
Both with a background in professional sports and reality TV, Beau Ryan andLiz Ellisare the perfect fit for their roles as the hosts of the Gladiators revival.
“I am beyond excited to be hosting Gladiators alongside the great Liz Ellis,” Ryan said of the new gig. “Liz is a national treasure, and we are going to have a lot of fun. I grew up watching and loving Gladiators and can’t wait to get into it. It’s going to be spectacular.”
