The Berries — who formed at a Reward meal and consisted of LoganJohannisen, AJAntonios, KaelanLockhart and KristinAlston — chose to target Karin. However, their secret was revealed when Kristin spilled the beans to Karin. Despite knowing about the plan, Karin was unable to twist the rest of the tribe’s votes in her favour, and The Berries succeeded.
Looking back at her last moments on Australian Survivor, Karin told Chattr that she made a mistake by ignoring AJ’s strong relationship with Kaelan and presuming that his number one ally was Myles.
“My biggest failing is not reading the relationship [AJ] had with Kaelan. I thought Myles and AJ were a rock solid two, which is why it really confused and convoluted my thought process,” she explained.
Karin on Australian Survivor. Image: Ten.
Karin said she’d wanted to work with Myles on multiple occasions but thought it would be too risky because of his strong bond with AJ.
“As much as I wanted to work with Myles, I was like, ‘Well, I can’t work with you until I separate you from AJ. If I don’t separate you, I can’t work with you because you’re always going to go back to your buddy.'”
However, as viewers have seen in recent episodes, AJ and Kaelan have a very strong alliance, which perhaps supersedes AJ’s loyalty to Myles.
“I always thought Myles and AJ were that close, whereas my biggest failing was not realizing that Kaelan was actually very, very close to AJ because I thought I had a good working relationship with Kaelan as well because we’d played together from essentially day one.
“I did not see how strong that relationship was. That’s a testament to Kaelan’s game and keeping that relationship under wraps so well, and also a testament to AJ in developing that relationship time and time again, so much so that he had two people that were very loyal to him.”
Myles said Kaelan fed him and AJ information about the other players
“Kaelan had every number in the game to choose from, but for whatever reason — Kaelan decided that AJ was his guy, and I was one of his guys,” Myles told Chattr.
AJ, Myles and Kaelan working together. Image: Ten.
“Kaelan had all the information, so I do genuinely believe that a big part of the reason AJ and I were able to get up to the antics that we were able to do was because of Kaelan,” he said.
“Kaelan was there feeding us little bits of information. He was there stabilising other people and making sure people were okay with us. He had a huge part in mine and AJ’s success moving through the game.”
Kaelan is certainly emerging as a strong strategic player in the latter half of Australian Survivor 2025!

She tells Chattr she actually wanted to leave early on in the experiment but pushed her feelings aside because she was “scared of retaliation”, which is sad to hear.
“I was shut down quite strongly by even the group, you know, I would say like, ‘I don’t feel like Adrian and I are compatible’ in the first few weeks and I wanted to go home. [But] because there’s grooms like Tim [Gromie], Eliot [Donovan] and Jake [Luik] not giving a chance and leaving early, the language from the group was quite strong against me,” she recalls.
“[The group would say] like, ‘this is unfair to Adrian. You’re robbing Adrian of his opportunity. Adrian here, he’s showing up. You know, give him a chance’,” Awhina says.
Although Adrian has displayed some pretty controversial behaviour — like at Family and Friends week — Awhina claims she started to doubt herself and believe she may be “the bad guy” in the situation, after so much pushback from Adrian and the group.
Awhina was reduced to tears again at the last Dinner Party. Photo: Nine
“I was made to feel like the villain and there was a lot of fear festering when walking into those Dinner Parties when you had this group environment, and you were scrutinised,” she explains.
“[Adrian would also] constantly attack me and my character, so I was left reeling going, ‘Am I the bad guy? Why are you painting a false narrative about me?’”
Awhina’s attitude seemed to completely change after Family and Friends week, and while most fans expected her to leave, she ended up becoming docile and amicable with her husband. She says she did this on purpose, as she was trying to “survive”.
“When I chose to stay when I did, I was like, you know what? I’m not staying to argue with someone every day. I’m gonna reset and essentially brush all my needs and wants under the rug. And I was like, I’m going to try and live in the now, in the moment, and in the lighter times. Because arguing all the time was really unhealthy for me,” she explains.
Awhina tried to convince Adrian to leave MAFS with her ‘amicably’
The bride says she tried to convince Adrian to leave MAFS with her “amicably” off camera, but she believes he wanted to stay for fame.
Seeing as Awhina had to leave her son behind in Perth for eight weeks, she said it was “disappointing” to stick around for a match that didn’t seem to want to make an effort.
Awhina and Adrian during Family and Friends week. Photo: Nine
She tells us about a conversation where she asked him to “leave amicably together”, where they told the cameras they weren’t compatible.
“He’d be like, ‘Oh, I’m giving up a lot to be here too’,” she says. “Like, you know, ‘Maybe give this experiment a shot’. It was always pushed back on me.”
Poor Awhina. She’s definitely been through a lot, and it makes more sense why she ended up sticking around.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Australian Survivor 2025 episodes have been beaming into our living rooms on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, bringing some joy to the start of the work week.
However, now that the season is getting to the pointy end, there’s been a bit of a switch up about when the episodes air.
Read on to find out when each episode will air for the rest of the Australian Survivor 2025 season.
Will Australian Survivor episodes still air on Tuesdays?
No! Unfortunately, we’ll only get a double dose of Australian Survivor moving forward. As of the week commencing March 30, Survivor will air on Sundays at 7pm and Mondays at 7:30pm.
While fewer episodes per week might not be ideal, the upside is that the season will last longer—giving us more time to enjoy all the twists, blindsides, and epic gameplay. Plus, it will land us closer to the upcoming Survivor: Australia v The World, which airs later this year. Yay!

When is the Australian Survivor finale?
We’ve still got a big chunk of the season to go until the finale, and Channel 10 hasn’t dropped the air date just yet.
However, there are eight players left. So, if one player is eliminated per episode and there’s a final two, that means the finale could be on Easter Sunday, which is April 20.
Stay tuned for when the official finale date is released.
This year’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has been a bit incestuous, with so many contestants having known each other prior to the experiment. Turns out there’s ANOTHER connection, with Dave Hand previously dating Sierah Swepstone. At this point, it has to be deliberate!
Jamie Marinos spilled the tea during an interview on Perth’s Robbie and Carly, accidentally exposing her husband live on-air.
After being asked about her history with Teejay Halkias— who she’d slept with in the past — she couldn’t keep her mouth shut.
“There are obviously so many things that get filmed on the show that don’t make it to air. Most of our filming never makes it to air. Considering Dave, Beth [Kelly], myself and Teejay were able to continue forward with no issue, it was the least kind of problematic situation to arise, so there wasn’t much point in including it [on the show],” Jamie said.
“Plus, at that point, I think we were like the 17th couple that knew each other.”
When Carly asked Jamie about any other unseen romances that took place off-screen, the bride dropped the bombshell.
“I’m not gonna say,” she teased, before admitting: “Dave may have been on a date with Sierah six years ago.”
“Dave had told me prior to [the first Dinner Party], because Sierah had been leaked [as a participant]. I was like, I don’t care if you’ve had sex with her upon entry, like I’m cool. And then Sierah came up to me immediately at the first cocktail party and told me but it was just so funny because it’s like how small is the MAFS world?”
Sierah was matched with Billy on MAFS. Photo: Nine
MAFS’ Awhina weighs in on Dave and Sierah’s relationship
Chattr talked to Jamie’s bestie Awhina Rutene about the whole Sierah and Dave scandal, and she said it honestly wasn’t a big deal.
“Dave and I were really close in the experiment, so yes, I did know that [they had a history]. I was so confused, I’m like, is this normal? Does every experiment have so many connections?” Awhina said.
“I didn’t watch reality TV like MAFS before so I’m like, is this a normal thing? How do they have five different people with connections?”
Rhi and Jeff also dated prior to MAFS. Photo: Nine
However, she said there “was never any drama” with their past dating history, which is probably why it wasn’t a juicy storyline.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Paul is wallowing in the consequences of his own actions. “I am extremely remorseful and I miss Carina,” he tells producers.
Jacqui is also sad because it is the last Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party. You wouldn’t believe it, but she’s crying over it.
PSYCH! I’m good again! Image: Nine.
Once the final Dinner Party (thank god) starts, Jamie justifies deciding to meet her reject match to Rhi and Jeffby saying she’s a “nosy bitch” 25 more times. Jeff thinks it’s as hilarious as I do that her match never showed up.
Ahead of Adrian and Awhina arriving, Adrian tells her to “snap out of” her “bad mood” and “stop looking so miserable”.
Um, stop making her miserable then? Image: Nine.
They walk in holding hands, which is bloody weird, all things considered? And wearing black for their relationship’s funeral. Awhina is deflated, sad and fed up.
Teejaywould like to address the “elephant in the room” and can someone tell me why this man is still here?
Who are you? Image: Nine
Paul says he had a “donkey brain”. The group basically agrees, dumbfounded that he would do this after Carina’s stance of the couple task challenge just weeks prior.
Honestly, there are many strong opinions about Paul meeting his date, especially considering so many other people at this table did it.
Carina is so fed up with Paul’s shit, she starts to think about the time he disappointed her before the experiment even started.
OMG I JUST remembered how you ghosted me. Image: Nine.
“I’m a catch. Anyone would die to be with me,” she declares. Pretty sure dying would defeat the outcome, but sure.
They’d be with me in spirit!!! Image: Nine
“You just have to try harder, that’s all,” Jacqui tells an upset Paul. As the queen of trying, she would know.
Piss off Jacqui, I was curious. Image: Nine.
Jacqui now sees Ryan as one of the strongest and most physically attractive people she’s ever met. She thinks they’re very resilient! And they are… that. Adrian thinks they’re going to stay together and shock everyone. I love knowing that he’s wrong.
I think they are going to be together 5eva! Image: Nine
Awhina is looking very puffy and also angry that even Jacqui and Ryan are doing well. She urges Adrian to tell everyone that she’s not the right person for him and says she would “absolutely fucking not” move to Sydney for him.
But I’ll come every other weekend for influencer events! Image: Nine
“Do you see any point going to Final Vows?” she asks. He says no.
She says she doesn’t want to be here anymore, wasting her time. “Well, go,” he tells her.
“Fuck Final Vows,” she says on the way out, right before a trailer starts where the pair, in fact, do attend final vows.

Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 piqued the interest of Aussies nationwide, thanks to the addition of Australian Survivor’sDavid Genat—otherwise known as the Golden God—to the cast.
Put simply, Deal or No Deal Island is a mix of the OG game show and Survivor, which means that David already has a leg up when it comes to gameplay and strategy.
At the end of the episode, one contestant enters a classic game of Deal or No Deal—if they take a deal that’s higher than what’s in their case, they choose to eliminate someone. However, if they take a deal that’s lower than their case, then they are the ones eliminated.
Survivor US’Parvati Shallow was also among the cast, making this season practically unmissable for fans of the long-running reality show. Fun fact: Parvati and David will compete against each other again on Survivor: Australia v The World, which airs on Channel 10 later this year.

All season long, patriotic Australians had our fingers crossed that David would take out the win on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2—like he did on Australian Survivor: All Stars. And in the season 2 finale (Episode 12), he did us proud, walking away with a $5.8 million deal — the biggest prize in network TV history. Onya, Dave!
Of course, before David’s win, one contestant had to be sent home each episode. Here’s a recap of who left Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, and when.
Who’s been eliminated from Deal or No Deal Island Season 2?
Episode 12 – Alexis Lete
Alexis Lete. Image: NBC
Alexis Lete made it all the way to the final showdown against David, but her game ended just shy of the win, ultimately losing the final Deal or No Deal game.
Her elimination came after David’s total in the final challenge reached $5.7 million, edging out her $5.5 million case total.
Throughout the game, the 27-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, dominated the obstacle course and proved herself a fierce competitor all season.
Episode 11 – Parvati Shallow and Courtney ‘CK’ Kim
CK. Image: NBC.Parvati. Image: NBC.
The Black Widow was (sadly) finally squashed when Parvati was eliminated during a game of Deal or No Deal. David put her up after she self-nominated, and while it added $501,000 to the bank, she made a ‘bad deal’ and was sent home.
Meanwhile, Courtney CK Kim was sent through to the final 3, where she, David and Lete had to undertake an obstacle course where some of the past players could choose to help them or hijack them. CK took the longest amount of time to complete the challenge and was eliminated from the game, leaving Lete and David in the finale.
Episode 10 – Phillip Solomon
Phillip. Image: NBC.
A nail-biting episode saw Phillip Soloman sent home, but not empty-handed, after securing $75,000 during the challenge.
However, Phillip’s decision to accept the money handed David the power to both nominate someone to play the banker, and eliminate from the game.
Despite claiming to form an end-game alliance with Phillip earlier in the episode, David secured the fitness instructor’s fate and eliminated him.
Episode 9 – Dickson Wong
Dickson. Image: NBC.
Fan favourite Dickson Wong was sent home after Lete made a ‘good deal’ with the Banker and sought revenge on David, who put her up to play, by sending home his close friend.
Dickson was part of ‘the family’, which was an alliance between himself, David and Parvati. Lete was sometimes included in the group, but she was undoubtedly at the bottom.
Episode 8 – La Shell Wooten
La Shell. Image: NBC.
Parvati chose La Shell Wooten to play the Banker in Episode 8. She made a deal for $1.55 million, even though there was only a 33% chance it would be a ‘good deal’. Unsurprisingly, LaShell had a higher amount in her case and was eliminated from the competition.
Episode 7 – Dr Will Kirby
Dr Will Kirby. Image: NBC.
Australian Survivor winner David reminded viewers why he’s been dubbed the Golden God after he sent Deal or No Deal Island villain Dr Will Kirby home.
David made a deal with Lete (real name Alexis Lete) and Dr Will to send his friend Dickson home if he was chosen to play the Banker. However, after pocketing just under $1 million for the kitty, he backed out on his deal and eliminated Dr Will.
After receiving the news, Dr Will — who has been on two seasons of Big Brother US — declared that he was retiring from reality TV.
Episode 7 – Seychelle Cordero
Seychelle. Image: NBC.
Episode 7 kicked off with Courtney ‘CK’ Kim’s game of Deal or No Deal. She beat the Banker after she made a ‘good deal’ and chose to eliminate Seychelle Cordero.
Episode 6 – No elimination
CK faced the banker at the end of Episode 6, but it wrapped before viewers found out her fate. We’ll have to wait until Episode 7 to see if CK is eliminated, or if she sends someone else packing.
Episode 5 – Maria-Grace Cook
Maria-Grace Cook. Image: NBC.
Maria-Grace Cook didn’t have a chance to face the Banker, but had her game ended in the hands of Dr Will Kirby.
Dr Will controversially took the first deal the Banker offered, but renegaed on the deal shortly after. He explained that he’d studied the rules and discovered that the deal wasn’t official until host Joe Manganiello asked if he’d accepted it.
Dr Will then officially accepted the next deal, which turned out to be a ‘good deal’ and he sent Maria Grace packing.
Episode 4 – Storm Wilson
Storm Wilson. Image: NBC.
Storm Wilson was blindsided when he was eliminated during Episode 4. Storm’s friend Dickson Wong played the Banker. He ended up making a ‘good deal’ and pocketing $5 million for the kitty. However, Storm was shocked that Dickson chose him to be eliminated.
Episode 3 – Rock Carlson
Rock Carlson on Deal or No Deal Island. Image: NBC.
Rock Carlson was the third contestant sent packing on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2. He actually nominated himself to face the Banker, but ended up making a ‘bad deal’–which means the amount he agreed on with the Banker was less than what was in his case—and was eliminated.
Episode 2 – Sydnee Peck
Sydnee left Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 in Episode 2. Image: NBC.
Sydnee Peck was the second person sent home. Shortly after meeting David, she had gaga eyes for him. However, he didn’t pair with Sydnee in the main challenge, and she and Rock were up for elimination.
After C.K. Kim and La Shell made a ‘good deal’ during the Deal or No Deal game, they had to choose between Rock and Sydnee to eliminate, and she was sent packing.
Episode 1 – Luke Olejniczak
Luke left Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 in Episode 1. Image: NBC.
Luke Olejniczak was the first contestant eliminated from Deal or No Deal Island Season 2. He made his first mistake when he received a ‘steal’ case in the initial challenge and swapped it out for an amount that he knew wasn’t the highest available.
Then, in the Deal or No Deal game, he refused to take a deal that would have given him a 66% chance of surviving and instead knocked down cases until he reached the one he was holding. Unfortunately for him, he had $1, and he was sent home.
With his huge smile and warm personality, Farmer Corey looks to be everything a lead on Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) should be.
The 24-year-old Beans, Hay and Cotton Farmer from Biloela may be on the younger side, but he’s ready to start making some future farmers. He’s hoping to find that baby mama — and a forever love — on FWAW 2025.
Here’s everything you need to know about Farmer Wants a Wife 2025’s Farmer Corey.
Farmer Corey wants to start a family
Ahead of the FWAW 2025 premiere, Corey told Channel 7 that family is hugely important to him.
“Family means the absolute world to me; it’s a big part of my life. I’m an up-and-coming fourth-generation farmer and intend on starting the fifth generation in the future,” He said.
“I’d like to expand the farm and continue the dream of my grandfather and his father before him.”
What is Farmer Corey looking for in a partner?
Farmer Corey’s trailer shows him goofing off with some of his FWAW ladies, and he told Channel 7 that he’s looking for someone he can have fun with. He said that he’s hoping to find an adventurous, caring, genuine, down-to-earth woman who he can share a laugh with.

However, he also stressed that he wants someone who he can depend on.
“Stability and commitment are also very important to me,” he said. “I’d like to have a partner who is able to enjoy the simple life, the farm, and the way we live.”
What does Corey think of his chosen FWAW ladies?
It sounds as though he’s absolutely thrilled!
“I felt butterflies in my stomach,” he said. “I couldn’t stop blushing; I couldn’t stop smiling!”
Corey’s FWAW Ladies. Image: Seven.
Corey added that he was incredibly “overwhelmed” when he met them for the first time.
Keep in mind that we do see Corey dressed in a snazzy baby blue suit, telling someone that he’s falling in love with them. So, things look promising for Corey’s FWAW love story!
Farmer Wants a Wife premieres after Easter on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
While Jamie did get stood up, both Paul and Jamie expressed curiosity in meeting their backup matches, with Jamie saying she was nosy and just wanted to know who it was, while Paul dropped that he was… well, curious, about 77 times.
Paul’s decision led to an explosive fight with his wife Carina Mirable, who kicked him out of their apartment, while Jamie’s decision had her husband Dave Handlaughing and paying her out for being stood up.
With Paul undoubtedly due to cop the group’s opinions at tonight’s dinner party, some fans are thinking it’s unfair that he’s the only groom facing the wrath of judgement from the participants and viewers alike.
“If I could turn back time”. Image: Nine
MAFS fans debate whether Paul and Jamie’s actions deserve the same heat
On Reddit, when someone commented it was good to see “the old Dave back” after he took Jamie’s date so well, others jumped in not to defend Paul, but to call out the double standards in how people saw the actions of both Paul and Jamie.
“Double standards here, everyone is not getting on Jamie for wanting to see her alternate match but everyone is at Paul,” one person said.
“But Jamie was just so CURIOUS! Just like Paul,” another commented.
Curiosity sure did kill the cat. Image: Nine
Some also assumed Dave put on a brave face, but maybe wasn’t that thrilled by the decision deep down. “I get the feeling Dave initially laughed it off and put on a brave face but it will probably gnaw at him over time,” someone commented, with another agreeing, “I think so too. He looked hurt initially but then she kept talking and laughing about the no show so he ‘laughed it off’. I’d probably do the same if I had cameras in my face.”
Other fans pointed out that Paul and Carina and Dave and Jamie are in different relationship stages, which could impact how fans view the task.
“The two couples are at different stages currently. If Jamie and Dave were as seemingly stable as Paul and Carina, I would hope Jamie would have gotten some heat,” one person commented. “Paul gave off the vibe that if he’s in a relationship and met someone who grabs his curiosity, he’d be out finding out about it. Different vibe from Jamie. I could be wrong.”
Did MAFS production sell the Final Test Week challenge differently to participants?
A few other fans speculated the producers may have added less or different pressure to some participants, depending on the state of their relationship.
“The big unspoken here is how the producers likely manipulated the take up of the offer,” one person wrote. “[They] must have assumed too hard a sell to Jeff and Rhi and maybe had some morals about upsetting a good relationship. Willing to bet [they] pushed to some as ‘no big deal, part of the experiment’.”
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
So far this season, Kaelan has managed to steer clear of major conflicts while building personal connections with each of the remaining castaways. However, according to Myles, this smooth and non-confrontational approach is all part of Kaelan’s carefully crafted gameplay.
“Kaelan’s social game was so far and above everyone else’s,” Myles told Chattr. “Everyone out on the island loved Kaelan.”

Myles explains how Kaelan betrayed other players to help him and AJ
Recent episodes have seen AJ and Kaelan cement their loyalty to each other, and Myles told Chattr that Kaelan stuck to his promise by delivering himself and AJ secret info from the other players.
“Kaelan had every number in the game to choose from, but for whatever reason — Kaelan decided that AJ was his guy, and I was one of his guys,” he explained.
Myles said that Kaelan was able to get all of the other Australian Survivor players to trust him, and he’d then bring that intel back to AJ and Myles, which helped them make informed plays.
AJ and Kaelan at the Reward.
Damn, Kaelan! That’s some sneaky winner’s energy if I’ve ever seen it.

It appeared on-screen that Jacqui and Rory had a delightful time, with the two even exchanging numbers, but now they’ve both come out and given different versions of what really transpired.
Did Jacqui and Rory exchange numbers on MAFS? Here’s what they both said…
In an Instagram video shared by @mafsuncensored, Rory said the pair didn’t swap numbers.
“I said no I don’t feel comfortable giving my number to a married woman,” Rory stated. He also allegedly said that Jacqui did give him her number but he “binned it” on his way out of the venue.
Jacqui also took to Instagram after the episode aired, saying, “No, Rory and I didn’t exchange numbers,” before adding, “I gave him my number in case he had questions about the filming stuff or had any issues in Sydney. We didn’t text, I haven’t spoken to this man again.
“All I told Rory was [that] I was going to be out of the experiment in 10 days and I couldn’t leave until Final Vows. That was the context. There was nothing flirty and nothing deceitful.”
Jacqui divides MAFS fans, as Ryan weighs in
Commenting with his alt account on @mafsuncensored’s video of Jacqui, Ryan Donnelly decided to throw his two cents in, writing, “Hahahahahaha. From Ryan”.
Across the board, MAFS were just, well, confused.
“OMG! how does she keep getting caught up in her own lies,” one person commented. “He said he didn’t feel comfortable giving his number to a married woman, but yet he went and met her,” someone else pointed out about Rory’s logic.
The latest season of The White Lotus sees three girlfriends among the main characters in the cast; Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate. Jaclyn is a successful actor who lives in LA, Kate is a rich stay-at-home mum who’s Texas-based, and Laurie is a straight-talking lawyer based in New York.
During an interview with Chattr, Zara pointed out which of the cast she believes aligns with the controversial characters.
Michelle Monaghan as Jaclyn, Carrie Coon as Laurie and Leslie Bibb as Kate (L-R). Image: HBO.
“There’s been a lot of fan feedback comparing the cast to The White Lotus, the three best friends, Kate Jacqueline and Laurie.”
“They’ve put me in the thought of being the Texan Kate, KarinGunatilake, being Laurie, the divorce corporate and Laura [Darras] and Logan[Johannisen] as the LA actress vibe that is Jacqueline.”
The White Lotus friends struggle to see eye to eye due to their contrasting personalities, and Zara drew similarities between the Australian Survivor women.
“I think that is a really great comparison because friendships with women are really layered, and they’re complex and challenging. I don’t think this is any more evident than in Survivor.”
Logan, Zara, Karin and Laura. Image: Ten.
Why friendships on Australian Survivor are complicated
In the finale, the Jury, which is made up of eliminated players, will decide the winner, so managing relationships on Australian Survivor is one of the most important aspects of the game. It’s also important to make big moves and vote off players who are a threat to win, regardless of friendships.
Zara told Chattr that she found it harder to separate emotions from gameplay than she expected.
“The further you get into the game, the more difficult it is. I think it also comes down to the fact that you have you want to be able to pitch your case at the end, but you have to get there, and in order to get to the end, you really have to trust those people that are around you,” she said.
Zara with some of the Australian Survivor cast. Image: Ten.
“It is an emotional game because you’re completely cut off from your family. I liken it to being in a zombie apocalypse, and The Graduates [alliance] out there became my new family.
“We couldn’t have been more different, but I really relied upon them, and you need people for emotional support and gameplay support and all of those other elements as well when you’re out there.”
We’ve got a feeling we haven’t seen the end of The Graduates just yet.

While Carina opted out of meeting her backup match in the ‘Is The Grass Greener Challenge?’, Paul’s ‘curiosity’ got the better of him, and he met up with his match, Hannah.
The date was short-lived, and needless to say, upon his return to the apartment, Paul’s rambling confession to Carina ended in an explosive argument, with Carina feeling like she had been emotionally cheated on.
As Paul scrambled to deflect his behaviour, he threw shade at his backup match Hannah, saying things like “yuck” and attempting to insult her by labelling her as a “Barbie”.
It’s not surprising that MAFS fans found Paul’s behaviour, quite, well, yuck, and while it was very obvious Hannah wasn’t impressed on her date with Paul, she tells Chattr she couldn’t “wait to get out of there”.
Paul’s MAFS ‘backup bride’ Hannah on her date with the groom: ‘My guard went up instantly’
Telling Chattr that the date was ‘very short’ Hannah said the first question she asked him was along the liens of “what broke up your relationship to bring you here today?”
“His response caught me completely off-guard,” Hannah said. “I wasn’t expecting it, and my guard went up instantly. He then expressed curiosity about me, but I found myself unable to say much, I was too shocked. That’s when I started questioning why he was even there in the first place.”
Hannah said her date with Paul may have only gone for about 10 minutes. Image: Nine
Hannah reveals how she felt watching Paul tell Carina about their date: ‘Low and hypocritical’
After watching Paul’s bumbling deflection towards Carina, Hannah wasn’t exactly left shocked.
“I saw his actions coming a mile away, so they didn’t surprise me, it just confirmed what I already knew,” Hannah said. “But let’s be clear, resorting to insults is never acceptable.
“For example, trying to insult me by calling me Barbie – so he’s stereotyping me because I have blonde hair and wear pink? That’s not insulting to me, it just makes him look low and hypocritical for calling Carina out the other week for the ‘calibre’ comment towards Cleo,” Hannah pointed out.
She also had a few things to say about Paul’s character.
Paul really stuffed this one up. Image: Nine
“Paul is the classic type, ‘charming’ on the surface, but when things don’t go his way, the mask slips. His behaviour wasn’t just disappointing, it was predictable. Unfortunately it’s a pattern too many women recognise, men dodging accountability by tearing down the women around them. Yuck!” she said.
What a queen.

MasterChef Australia 2025 is on the way, and we’re in for a doozy because it’s another season of MasterChef: Back to Win. Woohoo!
It’s not the first time that the franchise has done a returnee season, either. The first Back To Win season was in 2020 and saw 24 past contestants face off on the reality TV show.
In celebration of the exciting new season, we’ve popped together a handy guide of everything we know about the new season.

When will MasterChef Australia 2025 air?
MasterChef Australia 2025 doesn’t have a release date just yet.
However, the last seven seasons of MasterChef Australia have aired between late April and May, so it’s a pretty safe bet that the 2025 season will air around the same time.
Where can I watch it?
MasterChef Australia 2025 will be airing on 10 and streaming on 10Play.

Who are the contestants?
Channel 10 has officially revealed the cast for MasterChef: Back to Win, and it’s looking like one helluva season, packed with talent plus a good dose of nostalgia.
From 2012’s Audra Morrice to more recent standouts like 2023’s Declan Clearly and 2024’s Sav Perera, the lineup brings together over a decade of MasterChef favourites.
Jamie will be going on her Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 reject date because she is a “nosy bitch” — her words, not mine.
I wonder if he’ll look like he’s done 20 to life? Image: Nine.
She thinks she’ll always wonder if she doesn’t go and honestly, I feel that. She’s also wearing sneakers to make it less date-y, and honestly, I don’t feel that.
The flatter the shoe the less serious the date?! Image: Nine.
Adrian does a very good job of reading out his letter, deciding he’s “sort of not against it.”
”What’s one more task, right?” Adrian laughs to producers, as if he completed the others with the same enthusiasm.
This will greatly upset Awhina therefore I want to do it!!! Image: Nine.
Awhina’s going too! “I came here for a life partner, and I’m not sure that’s Adrian,” Awhina says. Love that awareness.
Jacqui really misses Ryan and says she would break her back to make it work with him. How the tables have turned, or should I say chairs?
If he’s a chair, I’m a chair! Image: Nine.
Ryan thinks Jacqui won’t go meet her reject match because she’s too invested in him. He’s in two minds about going himself because he built a life and a shrine with Jacqui. He also says “disservice” a lot.
It would be a disservice to the shrine. Image: Nine.
Ryan meets his reject, Vivienne, and when she tells him she’s going to Japan, he uses this opportunity to tell her about his sword.
Ermagherd please be a euphemism. Image: Nine.
“You’re giving nerd but it’s nice,” she laughs.
Jacqui’s reject match, Rory, is a dish best served reading non-fiction books. Watch out! She even asks for his number, saying she’ll be out of the experiment in 10 days.
Do you have a tennis court? Image: Nine.
Awhina meets Tim, whose only similarity to Adrian is his gender and facial hair. He says he would move to Perth for the right person and has already asked more questions about Awhina’s son than Adrian has the whole time he’s known her.
THE GRASS IS GREENER THE GRASS IS GREENER. Image: Nine.
I said that as a joke, but Awhina clarified it’s true.
Adrian is meeting Maxine and somewhere between their boners for a sunrise, they make it clear they have the hots for each other.
Jamie has been stood up by her match. The savagery of getting her to do a task that she doesn’t even benefit from is glorious.
You mean I have to tell Dave I decided to meet… no one??? Image: Nine.
Awhina finds out about Maxine and then hangs shit on her parents for their naming choices.
“I don’t like that name. It’s a shit name,” Awhina says. I find this insanely interesting, considering her response to Carina’s insecure, jealous comments about her sister, Cleo.
Carina doesn’t even know my sister!!! Oh wait… Image: Nine.
Dave tells Jamie he is focused on their relationship, so he didn’t want to entertain another one by doing the task. Dave isn’t a jealous person, so he doesn’t really care about Jamie going and getting stood up. Or maybe he just doesn’t care in general. TBC.
Jacqui and Ryan are reunited. Vivienne made Ryan realise he still likes Jacqui.
She didn’t like my sword either. Image: Nine.
Jacqui says she trusts Ryan and has no questions about his date, probably so he doesn’t ask about hers.
She says she walked away from Rory feeling light and happy. But she also has a new piece of paper to torture Ryan with. Oh, it’s nice.
She loves his:
big, strong pats
posture
responsibility
ability to pay his mortgage every month
smile
crazy reactions
Thank you? Image: Nine.
He says he’ll move back in tomorrow. Success! Imagine getting someone’s number and getting back with your husband in the same 24 hours! Truly a magician that Jacqui.

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Last night’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 episode was the first time ever the series debuted Final Test Week, with a new challenge titled ‘Is The Grass Greener on The Other Side?’
The challenge allowed the remaining participants to meet another ‘scientifically matched’ backup bride or groom before Final Vows, to help them gain clarity on their current relationship. While some couples remained strong and opted not to meet their match (shoutout to Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels) temptation got the best of others.
It wasn’t entirely surprising that Teejay Halkias and Beth Kelly decided to meet their alternate matches, given their MAFS marriage has all but fizzled out. But eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but point out an editing detail in the separate dates the two had, that had them questioning if their dates were held in the same venue.
MAFS fans query editing fail in Beth and Teejay’s dates
Taking to a Facebook group, one person uploaded a side-by-side photo of the separate dates, saying: “Teejay and Beth had their dates apparently across town so the separate pubs/cafes must have the same cups? Please correct me if I’m wrong… I just found it strange.”
Editing fail or continuity issue? Image: Nine
So were Teejay and Beth potentially at the same venue? Some people thought they had caught MAFS out, while others pointed out it’s usually a trick used by reality TV shows like Love Is Blindso people can’t see the levels of the drink for continuity purposes.
“I think they do that so we can’t see the drink level changing when production cut and edit voice clips to control the story better,” one person pointed out. “Probably the same as Love Is Blind. Cups provided as non see through by production, to enable dodgy editing and so they can show things not in sequence,” another agreed.
Some pointed out it was the same as Paul Antoine and Hannah’s date, which debunks the theory the dates were all held at the same place.
Others were just worried the participants were being forced to drink out of something that wasn’t a cup. “I thought they were drinking from candle holders for a minute,” one person said, with another saying, “THANK YOU! I was yelling out, don’t drink the candles! Haha I knew others would have seen it too.”

Of course, half the fun of watching AustralianSurvivor is the build-up to see who will be crowned the winner. However, it’s hard not to speculate who that may be — which is where the term Winner’s Edit comes in.
It’s no secret that production plays a heavy hand in how contestants are presented to the audience. And, the winner is usually presented in a certain light so that viewers will walk away satisfied with the show’s ending — otherwise known as the Winner’s Edit.
A devoted Survivor superfan has shared a detailed analysis on Reddit about how winners are typically edited—and honestly, they nailed it
Of course, the Winner’s Edit is pure speculation and hasn’t been confirmed by producers, so take it with a grain of salt.
Is Australian Survivor 2025’s Zara getting the Winner’s Edit? Image: Ten.
Signs of a winning edit on Survivor
The aforementioned Reddit told readers that there are three signs to look for when assessing whether a castaway is receiving a Winner’s Edit.
While the analysis was made for Survivor US, it can apply to the Australian iteration as well.
Why is this person being shown?
The user believes if a pair of players are having a discussion about a big move — for example, a Blindside — and a third person is shown talking about the same move, despite not being part of the initial plan, then that’s a sign of a Winner’s Edit in action.
Karin, Logan, Kaelan and AJ devising a plan. Image: Ten.
How good are their reads?
Obviously, no viewers want to walk away from a show feeling like the winner had little input into the game. So, the winning player will likely be shown making moves and understanding how Australian Survivor works at a fundamental level.
The Redditor used a wrong read as an example.
“If a player is making a prediction or commenting on something, whether they are right or wrong is important.
“If they say, ‘I know so and so has an idol.’ and if they don’t have an idol, then there is a good chance you can count them out, because winners are very rarely shown to be wrong, with the exceptions of the finale,” they explained.
Myles playing an Idol. Image: Ten.
Does the edit protect them?
This one plays heavily into the edits. The Reddit user claimed that if the footage contradicts a player who is talking about another contestant behind their back, then they can be discounted, too.
“Say someone says, ‘This person is being selfish and annoying.’ Now, let’s play two sets of B-roll footage over that. If that is being played and we see the person they’re talking about lying down, eating, sleeping, or even tripping over something, the edit has backed up that statement, and we’re supposed to take it as true.
“But if that is played and the person being talked about is seen just walking down the beach, catching fish, or handing out food, the edit hasn’t backed up that claim, and the audience knows not to believe it.”
More often than not, a player who’s receiving a Winner’s Edit won’t be made out to look wrong or in a bad light.
So, even if the player is accused of a negative, like being lazy, the edit will show the opposite, like a snippet of them building a shelter for the group.
Well, there you have it. Who do you think will get the Winner’s Edit on Australian Survivor 2025?

As Final Test week continues on Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025, we’ll see more of the participants be faced with the ‘Is The Grass Greener on The Other Side?’ challenge.
ICYMI: the challenge is all about testing the remaining participants before Final Vows by offering them a chance to meet another ‘scientifically proven’ compatible match for them, aka a backup bride or groom. Monday night’s episode saw some of our couples accept or decline the challenge (which you can read about here), and tonight will see our next lot of participants decide if they want to meet their alternate matches or not.
Spoiler, but not really because you clicked on this article, Awhina Rutenedoes decide to meet up with her match Tim Kingand he’s spoken with Chattr about the date and his unlikely connection to another bride.
Not only that, but Tim revealed he was originally meant to be one of the original Season 12 participants, before being offered the chance to come back as an intruder groom, only for things to go awry again.
Let’s unpack his rollercoaster journey.
MAFS’ backup groom Tim spills on his date with Awhina
After his start and stop journey with MAFS (more on that below), Tim said he came into the date to get to know Awhina and see why she was wanting to meet up with him, but he didn’t have the intention to romantically pursue her.
Tim had a nice time with Awhina, but it wasn’t love. Image: Nine
“She was awesome, a really nice, genuine, caring person, [but] I went into that date not wanting to be a homewrecker,” Tim told Chattr. “I didn’t want to be coming across as this guy being flirtatious in any way, or trying to pick her up, I was just genuinely curious as to why she was interested in meeting.”
Tim spoke more about their date, saying he thinks Awhina was there to get clarity on her Final Vows decision when it came to her connection with Adrian Araouzou.
“I was asking her what she sees in a partner, what she’s looking for, if her wants and needs were being met in the experiment, and she alluded to that they weren’t,” Tim said. “And although she had fun with her partner, she was looking for that deeper connection.”
Tim didn’t think that he or Awhina felt a romantic spark.
“I think my job on that date was to give her some clarity on her decision-making moving forward. We never reached out to one another post that date,” he said.

Tim’s surprising connection to MAFS’ Lauren Hall
While Tim will only be on our screens briefly, the backup groom revealed he originally had been cast as an OG cast member.
“My whole experience with MAFS was a bit of a debacle, to be honest. I was meant to be one of the original participants, and I got a phone call three days before I was meant to move to Sydney saying that my bride was flakey and they didn’t know if she’d come on the show or not,” he shared.
He then went overseas and while he was over there, the 2025 cast started to be leaked in the media and he said he knew “a couple of them”, saying that he and Lauren Hall had previously matched on Hinge.
“I actually reached out to her and I said, ‘Really random, I’m supposed to be on MAFS as well this season, and she said, ‘Whatever you do, stay in Europe, it’s an absolute disaster, my groom has just left me!'”
Could Tim have been Lauren’s initial intruder groom? Image: Nine
Tim went on to share that MAFS then tried to get him on as an intruder mid-season, when he and Lauren were still in conversation.
“We were speaking nearly every day, and she said, ‘Oh, they said to me they could remarry me in three weeks time as well,’ so we thought they were going to match us together,” he revealed. “We had a couple of phone calls being like, if they do match us together, can we pretend that we don’t know each other?”
Tim then came back to Australia and got a call from producers saying they had someone for him and he’d get married in “10 to 12 days”. In the meantime, Lauren also got a phone call closer to the wedding date, but 4 to 5 days out from Tim flying to Sydney, things got “wishy-washy”.
“I get a phone call and they said, ‘Hey we’re really sorry, we’ve gone with a different direction, you’re no longer required to be on the show,'” he said.
He later received a call about a month after that, where the producers told him his match was still on the show, and there would be an opportunity to meet her – and that match ended up being Awhina.
What a rollercoaster!
As for Lauren, Tim said they’re not really in touch anymore. What could’ve been!

Fans have called Amy Shark out and accused Australian Idol of being rigged after the judge shared a message to her broadcast channel backing one contestant.
On March 25, Amy took to Instagram to support Top 6 contestantWilliam Le Brun after he performed a cover of her song “I Said Hi”.
Amy shared a clip of the performances to her channel with 5.6k members, as well as messages that said, “Sharks!!! How great was this!!!” and “Go give the guy some love… Attack attack.”
It’s the only message that Amy has shared on her broadcast channel this season supporting an Australian Idol 2025 contestant. The winner of Australian Idol is decided by public vote.
Fans have taken to a Facebook group to call Amy out for being “biased.”
Fans reach to Amy’s messages supporting William Le Brun
One person took to Facebook to accuse Amy of influencing the vote by backing William.
“As much as I love Amy, I find this so wrong on so many levels. On last night’s show, she can’t be biased because of a contestant singing one of her songs, yet this morning, she posted this on her Instagram channel, which could possibly sway the votes…” one person wrote.
“Totally favouritism to him, silly move, Amy,” another fan wrote.
However, some viewers defended Amy and said that she should be free to post her personal opinions on social media.
“She’s allowed to brag on her personal social media, and the show requires her to be professional. I’m sure she was bursting at the seams to be biased, but she was truly professional. She has done nothing wrong,” a fan wrote.
Another said that they backed William for his talent before seeing Amy’s post.
Who’s still in the running to win Australian Idol 2025?
Australian Idol 2025 is down to the Final Six, and one of them will win and walk away with $100,000 in prize money plus a recording contract with Hive Sound Studios.
If you’re not up to date, the challenge was all about testing the remaining participants before Final Vows by offering them a chance to meet another ‘scientifically proven’ compatible match for them, aka a backup bride or groom. While some couples, like Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, refused the challenge, others let their curiosity (cough, Paul Antoine, cough) get the better of them.
It’s probably not surprising to note thatTeejay Halkias and Beth Kelly both opted to meet their backup matches, given that their own relationship has come to an absolute standstill due to Teejay’s lack of feelings.
While Beth was hoping Teejay would go on a date and realise what he’s been missing out on with her, Teejay hit it off with his backup bride Tara-lee Preston. And now, Tara has revealed to Chattr that there’s been a bit more to their connection…
MAFS’ Teejay went on a second date with his backup bride
Speaking with Chattr, Tara said she and Teejay did go on a second date, calling the MAFS groom “her type”.
“We had a second date after filming and that went well and we’re still in touch,” she shared, stating the two were probably at “different points” in their lives.
“Right now I think we’re at different points and maybe all the show fuss creates a block.”
Teejay and Tara hit it off immediately. Image: Nine
Tara went on to say Teejay has been misrepresented on the show and just “knows what he wants” after the groom has copped flack online for not being honest with Beth about his feelings.
“Teejay is lovely. A great guy and I think they have misinterpreted him on the show. He just knows what he wants.”
Tara hasn’t ruled out MAFS 2026, saying she’s genuine about looking for love. “I’m still single and genuinely ready,” she shared.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Jacqui has accepted that she was trying to make a door out of a chair when it came to Ryan. And now she just needs to cuddle the chair. Yeah, it made just as much sense hearing it as it did writing it.
If you’re a chair, I’m a chair. Image: Nine.
She goes to Ryan’s apartment and cries to him, telling him that she’s loved him since the day she met him.
OH HAVE YOU NOW? Image: Nine.
Why is this not congruent with everything she’s posted on social media since the first week of this show?
He says he’s too old to deal with this, basically, and that it’s just a little too late (and somehow doesn’t break out in song).
I love JoJo, not you. Image: Nine.
Lesson learned: Googling how to show someone you accept them doesn’t always work.
The Grass is Greener challenge
I can’t help but think this challenge was the Love Triangle team’s idea to promote Season 3 in the leadup (on the show, they basically have two matches and see which they like better).
Rhi can’t imagine anyone better than Jeff, so she says she’ll be watching Stan all day instead, the very platform that Love Triangle is on. Fancy that! Jeff feels the same but does not mention Stan.
Let’s Stan and chill. Image: Nine.
Beth and Teejay are obviously doing it because no one’s convincing me they like each other.
Beth’s match is an Irish PT who complains that the Aussie banter in the dating game isn’t up to scratch for him. He realised the chances of his match being Aussie were pretty damn high, right?
Anyway, Beth thinks he is into her in a way Teejay just isn’t. Teejay’s match is Tara, a redhead from Lake Macquarie who likes star signs and…. ethnicity?
This feels weird heheh. Image: Nine.
When the pair reunite, Beth says Teejay’s banter is better than the PT’s. Sadly, Teejay’s feeling pretty neutral about Beth after his date with Tara.
Carina thinks it’s cheating to take up this opportunity — surprise, surprise — and that Paul wouldn’t be “idiotic” enough to meet the other match. Oh, honey.
Paul meets Hannah, a blonde woman who is treating this date like an interview.
Do you work better individually or in a team? Image: Nine.
While Paul is getting to know her, Carina is at home folding his underwear. I don’t even do that for my partner when he’s being a good boy.
When Paul’s match asks if he would move to Sydney, he says he would for “someone” which insinuates that he’s still single IMO.
“If you’re so happy, why are you here?” she asks. Paul then says, “Curious,” 25 times.
When he returns home to Carina, he drops the bomb that he went on a date while mid-hug with his wife. She slowly pulls back as Paul tells her that physically, his date was “what the hell” and like “a Barbie”.
“Yuck,” he says of the experience.
IDIOT. Image: Nine.
EXCUSE ME PAUL. Was it not only mere weeks ago you were labelling your wife as a judgemental snob?
“I’m actually embarrassed,” Carina tells him. Watching the producer scramble in the hallway as Carina walks out is iconic television.
GET OUT THE WAY. Image: Nine.
Paul keeps going on about how the date just made him realise how happy he is with Carina and wow, he’s really not getting it, is he?
Carina tells him that this is the last straw and that she’s done.
But baby I was curious!!! Image: Nine.
“You’re not here for the right reasons, fuck that.”
“Get your shit and leave. I’m done.”
Spicy! I actually hope this is legit. Sue me!
