Well, would you look at that! Prime Video’s Road House has become an… ahem… knockout success.
The film, which debuted on the streaming platform on March 21, has now attracted a record-breaking 50 million worldwide viewers over its first two weekends, becoming Amazon MGM Studios’ most-watched produced film debut ever! INCREDIBLE!
Written by AnthonyBagarozzi and Charles Mondry, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter trying to escape his dark past and his penchant for violence.
Dalton is barely scraping by on the reputation that still precedes him when he is spotted by Frankie (Jessica Williams), owner of a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. She hires him to be her new bouncer in hopes of stopping a violent gang, working for crime boss Brandt (Billy Magnussen), from destroying her beloved bar.
Jake Gyllenhaal, Road House. Prime Video
Even five to one, Brandt’s crew is no match for Dalton’s skills, but the stakes get higher with the arrival of ruthless gun-for-hire, Knox (Conor McGregor – yes, THE Conor McGregor).
As the brutal brawls and bloodshed escalate, the tropical Keys prove more dangerous than anything Dalton ever faced in the Octagon.
Starring alongside the aforementioned cast are Daniela Melchior, Joaquim De Almeida and Lukas Gage, who has seen huge success (and a failed marriage to Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist Chris Appleton) since his first acting credit on The White Lotus.
The movie is based on the 1989 1989 MGM flick Road House starring Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot and is also available now for fans of the cult favourite to watch on Prime Video.
Timothy Smith may not seem like the cookie-cutter reality TV type of person, but Married At First Sight actually isn’t the first show he’s been on.
The Australian MAFS Groom appeared on Canadian TV series The Liquidator back in 2016, and boy, is it a blast from the past.
The show follows Jeff Schwarz, who buys and sells used and unwanted goods to customers. Timothy and a woman called Collette come to Jeff’s shop and want to purchase a polar bear statue.

“We’ve just opened up a restaurant,” Collette says before Timothy adds that they “came to buy a bear”.
Jeff reveals to the camera that he originally paid $350 for the bear, and offers Timothy it for $1,150. After some haggling they eventually agree on a price of $700 plus two free meals at the pair’s new restaurant.
“I personally think, when he’s got bigger ears, he’ll look like a koala,” Timothy tells the woman.

The Married at First Sight Reunion is one of the most hotly anticipated – and juiciest – episodes on Australian TV. And, fortunately for us, we’ve got some spoilers about what will go down during the explosive instalment.
**WARNING: This article contains potential spoilers for MAFS 2024.**
From surprise splits to MAFS recouplings, here’s what you can expect to see go down in the 2024 Reunion.
Sara and Tim (somehow) made it as a couple, but will they survive the reunion?
In a mind-boggling revelation to most viewers, Tim Calwell and Sara Mesa committed to each other at Final Vows and will attend the reunion together.
However, all hell appears to break loose between the two after JonathanMcCullough drops a bombshell about Tim. The preview shows the (former) happy couple standing outside engaged in a screaming match.
Sara at the MAFS Reunion. Nine.
Tim and Sara got off to a rough start, but things went crashing down even further when it was revealed that Sara secretly met up with her ex-boyfriend and lied to Tim about it.
However, while Tim and Sara looked loved up at Final Vows, they don’t appear to last. Daily Mail Australia and The Wash shared pics of Tim flaunting his relationship with a new woman.
Throughout the season Cassandra Allen had her moments where she wasn’t afraid to call out other people’s poor behaviour. It appears that hasn’t changed because the preview shows her coming for one of the brides.
“You’re the weakest woman I’ve ever met in my life,” Cassandra says to an unknown bride.
Cassandra at the MAFS Reunion.
Madeleine won’t be at the reunion
MadeleineJevic and Ash Galati’s time on MAFS was very short-lived, and Ash has revealed that the bride won’t even be returning for the reunion.
“I was expecting her to come back. I followed things through till the end. I had an obligation to come back to myself, to the show, to the other couples. So I did the right thing and I showed up. But she didn’t.”
Ash told the publication that he hadn’t spoken to his former TV wife since they wrapped filming.
“As far as I know, no one’s heard from her,” he said. “As soon as I left the experiment I blocked her number. But, if she wanted to, she could reach out, but she’s probably forgotten about me.”
Ash and Madeliene at their MAFS Wedding. Nine.
Ellie and Jonathan confirm their relationship
The show’s worst-kept secret is that Ellie Dix and Jonathan – who were both married to different people on MAFS – have coupled up post-show.
Ellie was paired with Ben Walters, and their relationship quickly went down in flames as they were the third couple to exit the experiment. However, Lauren Dunn and Jonathan lasted until Final Vows, so the relationship between him and Ellie came as somewhat of a shock.
Regardless, Jonathan and Lauren apparently had no qualms about sharing their new found love at the Reunion… right in front of Lauren’s face.
Lauren addresses her “secret Bali boyfriend”
Lauren may not be too worried about Jonathan and Ellie’s new relationship, as it’s been revealed that she was seeing a man she met in Bali before entering the experiment.
It’s expected that she’ll discuss the mystery boo at the reunion.
Collins and Natalie will be there
Ellie, Jono, Lucinda, Lauren, Jayden, Collins, Ash, Ben, Cassandra, Tristan, Sara, Tim, Jade, Tori and Jack are all shown in the Reunion Finale preview.
The couple struggled to connect at their wedding and were the first to exit the experiment.
“I’m going into the reunion with a mindset of, ‘I’m going to treat him how I felt I wanted to be treated at that first dinner party,'” Natalie said during the interview.

The Queen has arrived! Denise Drysdale entered the jungle on April 1 to the cries of “Ding Dong” across the country! While the nickname has grown to be a sign of affection, its origins are a little bit more… ummm… a sign of their time.
In 2020, Denise’s former colleague Lawrence Mooney (Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning) revealed the reason for her moniker after the news broke that she was in hospital following a fall filming Seven’s Holey Moley.
“I worked with Denise Drysdale for two years as a hapless sidekick in the kitchen between ’99 and 2000. Great couple of years,” he told co-host Jess Eva at the time.
Denise “Ding Dong” Drysdale, I’m a Celebrity. Ten
“Ding Dong came from 1974 when she joined Ernie Sigley’s show as the barrel girl, and it is mooted – in fact, it’s widely known – that he named her breasts, Ding and Dong. Simpler times.” *Jaw on the floor!*
Mooney then claimed it was common knowledge, stating, “It’s like calling your sidekick ‘big t**ts’.'”
“‘Or big ‘hmm’, for men,” Jess responded as Mooney asked if she wanted to name his testicles…
Thus, a fifty-year moniker was born.
Denise “Ding Dong” Drysdale’s stories
Denise entered the jungle as the “oldest” campmate to ever join the series, much to the delight of the 11 other contestants.
Tristan MacManus — who previously worked with Denise on Studio 10 — was delighted, revealing that his former co-star had “a lot of great stories” to tell.
Without skipping a beat, Denise told everyone how Patti Newton had to join the army to perform for our troops during the Vietnam War and why she threw a brussel sprout at Ita Buttrose! LOVE HER.
During the March 31 episode of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2024, national treasure and icon Denise Drysdale entered the jungle.
While she hadn’t met her campmates yet (at the time of publication) she did reveal in her welcome package that she was the “oldest” contestant to have ever appeared in the series.
So, how old is she?!
Well, Denise was born on December 5, 1948, which makes her 75 years old! Unbelievable!
Speaking to the Herald Sun before trading in luxury for rice and beans, she said: “Don’t get the coffin out. I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t feel 100 per cent. I’ve got quite a few fears now I am older, I did absolutely everything when I was younger, jumped out of planes and all that. It’s definitely an adventure alright.”
She also admitted that she had been asked to do the show previously but it wasn’t the right time.
“One of the reasons that I didn’t want to do it, and I’ve got a different mindset now, I didn’t want to go and do those challenges where they eat all that muck because I would feel so guilty going back into the camp with no food,” she said.
“I am trying to steel my mind to think that everything I eat is chicken and everything in the hole is full of kittens.”
Who held the “oldest” crown on I’m a Celeb before Denise?
Before the comedian’s turn in the wilderness, Kerri-Anne Kennerley (#neverforget) held the title, appearing at 69 and before her, Bonnie Lithgow at 67 years old.

‘Tis the season of creepy crawlies and Tucker Trials, because I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of HereAustralia is back with a whole new all-star cast in 2024.
Before the series launch on March 24, the official Instagram account was spoon-feeding clues about the celebrities’ identities — and fans were sure they knew who was going in.
The hints revealed that there was a Hollywood child star, Gold Logie winner, mega influencer, glamourous sports star, international stage sensation, radio host, celebrity cook, AFL legend, international comedian, gold medalist, controversial TV star and a love rat.
“The celebrities really make the show,” host Julia Morris told Chattr before heading to South Africa in early March. “We’re practically in another area laughing our heads off doing something else entirely.
“But it’s the celebs that do the hard yards.”
Now, we’re finally here and the class of 2024 has been unveiled!

MAFS’ Jonathan and Lauren appear to be the yin to each other’s yang, while their personalities are very different, they don’t have any trouble having a laugh together.
But, will their contrasting personality traits complement each other, or will they discover that they’re too dissimilar?
Find out if Lauren and Jonathan are still together.
Lauren and Jonathan at a MAFS Dinner Party. Nine.
Lauren and Jonathan’s pairing
Lauren is the definition of high-energy, why Jonathan is a lot more relaxed. However, both Jonathan and Lauren were looking for someone opposite, making them a great match.
While Lauren was hoping for someone to balance her out, she also wanted a partner who “can match her level of sarcasm, wit and banter”.
Jonathan “credits his singledom at almost 40 to being with amazing women who he should have married in his 20s, and poor choices in his 30s.”
He was looking for someone to start a family with in the near future, and wanted someone as “equally motivated and put together as he is.”
Lauren and Jonathan at a MAFS Commitment Ceremony. Nine.
Are Lauren and Jonathan are still together?
It’s safe to say that Lauren and Jonathan are absolutely not together!
The show’s worst-kept secret involves Jonathan and another MAFS bride. Photos leaked online of him at Ellie’s Christmas party, and another set of paparazzi photos published by Daily Mail Australia showed the mismatched couple making out on a Sydney beach.
Meanwhile, Lauren all but confirmed the break up over on a Perth beach. Lauren was pictured at Cottesloe Beach in Perth sans wedding ring – which is hardly surprising given Ellie and Jonathan’s romance.
With Married At First Sight 2024 winding down, the switched-up airing schedule in recent weeks has made it hard to pin down exactly when the MAFS Final Vows episodes are on.
Throughout the entirety of the MAFS, episodes were released from Sunday to Wednesday, however, that changed after the final Commitment Ceremony.
Since then, episodes have only been released on Sunday and Monday. But, with Sunday (March 31) and Monday (April 1) being a public holiday, will the Final Vows still air?
When is Final Vows Part Two on?
MAFS fans rejoice because both days of Final Vows will be airing. That means, that we’ll finaaaaally get to see if Tori and Jack actually leave the show together.
Tori and Jack at MAFS Final Vows. Nine.
“It will now just be two episodes a week – Sunday and Monday starting from this weekend,” a Channel Nine publicist confirmed to Chattr, on March 22nd.
So, the Final Vows Part One will air on Sunday, Final Vows Part Two on Sunday, and the Reunion Dinner Party will air on Sunday, April 7th. At this stage, the final episode, the Reunion Finale, will be released on Monday, April 8th.
How to watch MAFS Final Vows
The MAFS episodes will be broadcast on Channel 9 from 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 31 and 7.30 pm on Monday, April 1st, it will also be available to stream from 9Now.
Who will be in Final Vows Part Two?
As we already know, Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo set off into the sunset together, and Lauren Dunn and Jonathan McCullough had a bitter break-up in Final Vows Part One.
Final Vows Part Two will see Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud, Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell and Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley decide if they want to stay together IRL.
The Married At First Sight cast went absolutely rogue at a secret Dinner Party event in Sydney and some spicy bombshells about Jack Dunkley were dropped by Lauren Dunn and Timothy Smith.
The event was held by Nova and Tristan, Cassandra, Lucinda, Timothy, Eden, Jayden, Ridge, Jade, Lauren and Sara were all in attendance, along with some of the media.
At the unofficial Dinner Party, host Michael “Wippa” Wipfli ask Timothy about Jack’s secret ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade. On the show, he admitted to being in a relationship while auditioning for MAFS.
“I did get a phone call from Jack’s ex which actually answered a lot of questions, which made the show make complete sense,” Timothy told Wippa, before adding: “You f–king liar.”
Timothy at the Nova Dinner Party. Instagram.
Timothy hinted that Jack’s ex will be a topic of conversation at the reunion
Wippa pushed Timothy for some more information and asked if Jack was still together with his ex-girlfriend.
“Watch the show but he’s full of s–t, head to toe,” Timothy cryptically added, suggesting that there’s more to come out about Courtney Jade.
Although Wippa tried to prod Timothy for more information about Jack and Courtney Jade, he wouldn’t budge. However, Lauren Dunn was more than happy to oblige.
“Timothy, tell the story, everyone is going to find out anyway,” Lauren told Timothy, before deciding to tell the story herself.
Lauren at the NOVA Dinner Party. Instagram.
“I was coming up in the lifts [during filming],” Lauren explained. “I remember Jack was sitting on a chair and he was having a conversation – a deep conversation – and he looked at me and he looked a bit uncomfortable. My gut just said, ‘I bet you anything he’s on the phone to this girl’.”
She then added: “It was, it was”.
Timothy asked Lauren to “Confirm 100% that it was her on the phone”, and Lauren replied, “Yes, she confirmed that”.
The basic premise of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024 is to throw a bunch of well-known figures into the jungle and see if they can handle all the trials and tribulations along the way.
And, you know what usually comes hand in hand with being a celebrity? Having money, lots and lots of money.
A quick Google search has confirmed that this is the case for the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2024, with most of their net worth sitting in the seven-figure range.
Read on to have a stick beak about how much each of this year’s contestants is worth.
Ridge Barredo is the first participant off the block this season to cash in on his time on Married at First Sight and launch a business.
The 27-year-old MAFS groom has the entire thing prepared, planned and ready to be bought, and is hoping to profit off his catchphrase, “Deece”.
What is Ridge’s business?
Ridge is launching a whole a** clothing line – all adorned with the phrase “Deece”, which is a shortened version of the word decent, for those not watching MAFS.
Ridge wearing Deece. Supplied.
“He’s releasing crop tops, shirts, hoodies, the lot,” an anonymous source told Chattr. “Everything is printed and ready to go, he isn’t messing around. He’s ready to strike while the iron is hot and will be launching the line very soon.”
Jade Pywell and Ridge have made it very obvious that they’re still together, and, Ridge’s MAFS wife is completely on board with the business launch.
“Jade’s proud of him and loves the idea, she wears the women’s line constantly.”
Jade in Deece. Supplied.
Ridge shared the first public sneak peek of his brand at the NOVA MAFS Dinner Party on March 27th.
Ridge is the first MAFS contestant to launch a proper clothing line
Though previous contestants have toyed with the idea of launching a clothing line post-MAFS, Ridge is going in with all guns blazing. He’s even got a Deece Instagram account ready to take off private once the brand launches.
“Nobody has released proper clothing labels. Al [Perkins] and Brent [Vitiello] tried to do it but it failed miserably. It turned out to be a really bad investment for them because they took too long to kick things off and they’d lost the momentum they gained on MAFS.”
In June 2022, the former MAFS grooms released a few limited edition hoodies for streetwear brand Valianu and were in talks about doing a full collection at a later date, which never eventuated.
Frankie Muniz has revealed the eye-watering net worth that he achieved as a teenager from his starring role in Malcolm in the Middle.
The child actor and his campmates were discussing online trolling, when Frankie admitted that he’d received a lot of negative comments throughout his career. He told his castmates that he used to bite back at particularly nasty ones.
“This kid wrote, ‘I’m sorry but your acting is just awful.’ And I was in a movie, and I went, ‘Yeah it is, but you know what’s not awful? Being retired at 19 with $40 million [US]. Good luck moving out of your mum’s house before you’re 35.’
‘His Twitter name was ‘I heart Mountain Dew’. Like, OK,’ he added.
40 Million USD is equivalent to around 61 million AUD, plus inflation would make the figure even higher. Frankie was born in 1985, so he was 19 in 2004. If inflation is added to his figure of 61,000 million AUD, it would be equivalent to 101 million in 2024.

Is Frankie Muniz retired?
After building such a fortune at such a young age, Frankie could have easily retired before he turned 20, and his campmate Brittany Hockley asked him whether that was possible.
“Oh, 100 per cent,” he responded.
“But I’m neurotically motivated. I’ve just always worked since I was eight years old. I don’t know how to just be in the moment and not be focused on what I’m doing next.”
Frankie started competing in NASCAR competitions in 2021 and made his debut at the Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California. He’s in the ARCA Menards Series which is is the fourth level of NASCAR.

Jessica Mauboy has revealed the “struggle” to live in the Western world while remaining “connected” to culture as told through the story of Stan Original Film Windcatcher.
The 34-year-old singer has traded in her microphone for her acting hat, playing Aunt Cressida in the movie which centres around Percy Boy (Lennox Monaghan), a young First Nations kid who is given the gift of seeing Lost Souls — a concept, Jessica says, “we don’t ever get to see” portrayed.
“I think for First Nations mob and particularly for Aboriginal culture, we don’t ever get to see that and we don’t get to see it in this light,” Jessica told Chattr during an interview before the film’s March 28 release.
“And so this [Windcatcher] is going to be very important and such an insight of a young boy and how he deals with it.”
Lennox Monaghan, Windcatcher. Stan
When prompted further, The Sapphires star admitted that the spiritual practice was “something that we rarely speak about in public”.
“We do speak about it to our mob and our circle of mob that do go through that experience,” she said. “And being passed on that ability to do so is a huge deal.”
Further to this, Jess said that “it’s something that I am extremely proud for young mob to do.”
“I think when you come out of the community, there’s a sense of lost belonging. There’s a sense of disconnection and a struggled connection because you want to live in a Western World, but you also want to remain connected to your culture and what you believe in.
“It’s a lot of weight to carry.”
Jessica Mauboy, Windcatcher. Stan
Jessica, who has a very close connection to her familial roots having grown up in Darwin, NT, admitted that “it should be taught that you can have both worlds”.
“I think this film will be able to show that it is possible,” she said, before describing Windcatcher, as “incredibly heartwarming”.
“It’s got such a warmth…and it has a lot of hope,” she said.
After watching the film, Jessica hopes that families with young kids “go away stronger, and [feel] more connected.”
“[I hope] That these young kids go away leaning on their friends, while supporting them and believing in themselves. That’s the bubble of this of this incredible story.”
The Stan Original Film Windcatcher premieres March 28, only on Stan.

During the March 26 episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia, Candice Warner asked the influencer if her bum was “real”.
“Yes, 100 per cent,” Skye replied.
Then, Ellie Cole asked Skye what was “not real” on her.
“My lashes, my nose, my lips, my boobs,” Skye quickly responded.
Khahn Ong chimed in and asked her about her cheeks, and Skye confirmed that she’d previously undergone cosmetic surgery on them.
“Oh yeah, I’ve had my cheeks done once but I didn’t like it,” she replied. “I looked like Maleficent.”

Skye Wheatley sells fitness plans
After years of influencing, Skye launched her own fitness plans that focus on booty building. So, it’s a relief that she confirmed that her bum is, in fact, real.
The products are e-books that were created with the help of personal trainer Matt Richardson. Each book retails for between $69.95 – $89.95.
“In this eBook, we will guide you through a comprehensive training program designed to help you build a stronger, rounder and more muscular booty,” the product description reads.

Skye’s also launched a recipe e-book, which she put together with the help of a certified chef.
“I am a mum of two and fitness lover! I know how hard it is to come up with meals that the whole family can enjoy and that also suit your fitness goals,” Skye wrote on her website.
“With the help of a certified Chef, we have made 30 of my favourite go-to meals into a recipe ebook to help take the stress out of searching for meals that are high protein and delicious.”
