MAFS 2025: A body language expert has weighed in on Dave’s strange behaviour towards Jamie

A body language expert has commented on the latest Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Commitment Ceremony, noting that there was a “massive difference” in Dave Hand’s behaviour.

ICYMI, Dave was quiet during his couch session with wife Jamie Marinos, with some fans believing he looked uncomfortable while she was raving about her perfect husband.

Combined Communications Specialist and Body Language Expert Scott Taylor took to TikTok to analyse Dave’s telling behaviour.

“The whole time during this [couch session] Dave had his hand on Jamie’s knee. But as he did so, he was leaning away and even angling away from her. We lean into what we like, we open to what we like,” Scott told his followers.

When Alessandra [Rampolla] asked the couple how their relationship was going, Scott noticed that Dave didn’t have an “overly positive reaction” to the question.

“He still had the same physical distancing [and] you even saw him then go through and start going a bit internal from a mental processing point of view,” Scott said. “And then Jamie continued on [and] Dave further withdrew, and you would have seen that finger fidgeting and a range of other things.”

Scott said he thinks there may be more to Jamie and Dave’s relationship than we think we know.

“It’s more than just the fact that they’re in different parts of the relationship with Jamie saying ‘I love you’ or whatever. I think there are some other items that they’re working through there, but I’m sure more will come out of that [in future episodes],” he explained.

MAFS insider reveals secrets about Jamie and Dave’s relationship

This comes after an insider told Chattr that Dave wasn’t into Jamie and originally wanted to leave during their honeymoon.

“It was obvious Dave was never into Jamie and just went along and led her along for the entire show. He even said yes at Final Vows,” the source said. “Afterwards Jamie broke up with him because she knew he was leading her on.”

“Dave never liked Jamie from the honeymoon. He wasn’t attracted to her. He didn’t like she didn’t like animals. There was a birdcage incident where Jamie was freaking out about the birds on their honeymoon, and he wanted to leave,” the source added.

No wonder he hasn’t said “I love you” back to Jamie yet!

The Block 2025: Meet your new Blockheads, plus everything else you need to know

If you love a bit of drama mixed in with your home reno when it comes to Reality TV, then you’re probably counting the days until The Block 2025 premieres.

The home-renovation show features pairs of teams that completely renovate a house located on the same street — or, in The Block 2024‘s case, the same holiday complex.

Once the houses are completed, they go to auction, and the contestants get to keep whatever amount the property sells for over the reserve. Plus, the couple who makes the most scores an extra $100,000 prize money on top.

The stage is set for an exciting change-up in The Block 2025, and it’s safe to say this could be one of the most interesting seasons yet.

Here’s what we know so far about next year’s season of The Block.

Who will be competing in The Block 2025?

Although the teams haven’t officially been released yet, some leaked photos have revealed who will be competing on The Block 2025.

According to Daily Mail Australia, the five teams will consist of Britt and Taz (Team Red), Emma and Ben (Team Blue), Robby and Mat (Team Aqua), Han and Can (Team Orange) and Sonny and Alicia (Team Yellow).

When will The Block 2025 air?

There’s no air date for The Block 2025 just yet. However, in past years, the show has started airing in early August, so you can expect it to come at the same time this year.

While we don’t have an air date, we do know that filming for the new season has kicked off. On March 4, a flyer announcing the beginning of filming was shared with a The Block fan Facebook group.

“In just three days, The Block will begin filming in Daylesford and surrounds. You can expect to see increased activity around town as film and set crews become more present,” the letter began.

It informed residents of the area that there would be increased visitors and encouraged local businesses to contact Channel 9 if they wanted their products featured on the popular show.

The letter that was sent to locals in the area. Image: Facebook.

Where is The Block 2025 filmed?

The location of The Block 2025 is the Victorian countryside town of Daylesford.

The blueprint reveals that each residence will feature the exact same layout, with 5 bedrooms, an office area, a common living space, an inclusive covered garage, and high-grade outdoor spaces that comprise a heated swimming pool and comprehensive landscaping.

How will The Block change in 2025?

The Block logo
The Block 2025 logo. Image: Nine

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, the upcoming season may see contestants build homes from scratch rather than renovating existing properties. This shift not only increases the challenge but could also significantly impact the value of the homes.

The properties will be eco-friendly, designed to meet Victoria’s seven-star energy efficiency standards for new builds. This detail could increase the value of the homes.

Looking at Domain’s Green Homes Report, eco-friendly properties are generally easier to sell and can attract higher prices – something that this year’s contestants will likely be happy to hear.

Who will be competing in The Block 2025?

We have yet to learn about the contestants for next season, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

Stay tuned!

The Block airs on Channel 9 and 9Now.

MAFS insider reveals ‘faked’ storyline involving Dave and Veronica’s couple swap

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 is about to introduce the infamous partner swap as part of feedback week, and rumour has it that a few couples get caught up in some drama

One viewer shared some juicy gossip on the MAFS Uncensored Facebook group, claiming that Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand completely “disconnect” after the partner swap task, because he’s paired with Veronica Cloherty.

According to the fan, she bumped into Rhi Disljenkovic’s mum, who spilled the tea.

“She told me a few things, I was upset by that one the most,” the viewer claimed.

However, Chattr asked one of our MAFS inside sources, and this isn’t exactly how everything went down. Don’t worry, we have the spicy details!

“It’s not true. Dave didn’t have a connection with Jamie, he didn’t like her from the honeymoon,” our source tells us.

“The group and producers will make it look like Veronica and Dave are into each other after the couple swap, but it’s just they are two normal people who don’t scream a lot and actually got along.”

Veronica and Jamie clashed at the most recent Dinner Party, and Jamie actually told Chattr that she is no longer friends with the bride. Could this be due to this upcoming couple swap drama?

“When it comes to falling out [with cast members], I’d say you know, Carina [Mirable], Veronica, they’re just people I just didn’t click with,” Jamie said. Very interesting.

MAFS 2025 couple swap chaos revealed

This comes after a source told Chattr that Eliot Donovan and Rhi share a bed during the partner swap, leaving Veronica blindsided.

Apparently, Eliot lies to Veronica and says he didn’t share a bed with Rhi. The Dinner Party is supposed to be explosive, with the brides going “head to head”.

“Veronica says to Rhi, ‘I don’t appreciate my husband lying to me about sharing a bed with another wife’,” the insider said.

However, Awhina Rutene told Chattr that it might not be as salacious as it seems.

“There’s a lot of challenges presented to us by the experts. And if there is any bed sharing or if there’s any couples doing swaps, just know these are challenges presented to us by the experts,” she said.

“There is no wrongdoing in the majority of people’s cases. And Rhi is someone that would always be very forthcoming with other women if she was going to do something.”

This week is going to be so spicy!

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Survivor’s Logan reveals a shocking secret alliance with AJ was in play at Tribal

The latest Australian Survivor Tribal Council gave Logan and Karin the perfect opportunity to vote with the OG Brawns and turn on ‘Hostage Leader’ AJ.

But, the women banded with AJ, and Noonan‘s torch was snuffed, a move that surprised viewers considering AJ’s repeated attempts to blindside Logan.

However, Logan told Chattr in an exclusive interview that she sided with AJ because they had a secret alliance that wasn’t shown on TV.

“There was a part that was not shown, when we moved over to Brawn 2.0, [AJ and I] did have a little pow-wow at night and decided to call a truce.

“We called ourselves Enemies to Lovers and we worked together for a couple of votes. We did call a truce, but AJ became AJ again, and the white flag came down pretty quick.”

Logan said she was “really close” to blindsiding AJ

AJ boldly announced his Hostage plan during the Episode aired on March 3. The strategy involved AJ proposing the new Brains tribe to throw challenges and vote out OG Brain members to keep the OG Brawn numbers strong going into Merge. This move would keep the new Brawn tribe from attending Tribal Council and losing members.

However, AJ’s daring gameplay saw a target placed on his back, and his name was thrown around when the new Brawns faced Tribal Council during the March 9 episode, and Logan told Chattr that she was seriously contemplating turning on AJ.

“We really, really close with going with Paulie and Noonan. Karin and I were very, very close to flipping, but we weren’t ready to burn Kaelan just yet, and we weren’t sure if AJ had an idol.

“So, if we took the shot at him, and it came back, and it went to pieces, then we knew that AJ had that influence over people that he could take us out again.

Logan and AJ during a Survivor challenge.

“He’d already taken two shots at me and missed, and the third time’s a charm, so he was just a bit of a one to worry about, and we had to make sure we had everyone in line at the right time to take the proper shot.”

It turned out that AJ did have an Idol, and he played it for himself in a move that wasn’t needed because his secret alliance didn’t turn on him.

“[Karin and I] warred in our heads about taking him out and whether Paulie was the right person to work with or not,” Logan explained.

“But I think at the end of the day as well, Paulie showed signs of someone that I didn’t want to work with as well. And it was choosing the lesser of two evils.”

It sounds like it’s just a matter of time before Logan takes her shot at AJ — and we hope she doesn’t miss.

MAFS 2025 spoilers: Dave was never into Jamie and wanted to leave

The strongest Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 couple by far are the adorable Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand. The pair seem to be going from strength to strength, with Jamie even gushing about having Dave’s babies during the Couples Retreat

However, an insider has told Chattr that Dave was never into Jamie and actually wanted to leave during their honeymoon.

And spoiler alert, while the couple does make it to Final Vows and say yes, our source said it was all for show and they broke up afterwards.

“It was obvious Dave never was into Jamie and just went along and led her along for the entire show. He even said yes at Final Vows,” the source claims. “Afterwards Jamie broke up with him because she knew he was leading her on.”

Love truly is dead.

“Dave never liked Jamie from the honeymoon. He wasn’t attracted to her. He didn’t like she didn’t like animals. There was a birdcage incident where Jamie was freaking out about the birds on their honeymoon, and he wanted to leave,” an insider tells Chattr.

“It also came out that Dave wasn’t pursuing Jamie sexually and they stopped having sex… but they both wanted to stay until the end and be the heroes.”

The source claims Dave may have been wanting to stay for the limelight, which wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.

Dave doesn’t have feelings for Jamie

“Everyone knew Dave wasn’t really into Jamie and Awhina [Rutene] wasn’t really that into Adrian [Araouzou],” the insider spills.

“A lot of people were just [on MAFS] for the air time… so it wasn’t a surprise at all, because everyone who was there were there to be influencers, or they were actors.”

Apparently, the couples left aren’t “genuine” and viewers will start to realise.

“I think Jamie was more into Dave than Dave was into Jamie. It comes out in the next few weeks that Dave doesn’t have feelings for Jamie,” a source previously told Chattr.

Seeing as Jamie recently gushed about how she said “I love you” to Dave, and he refused to say it back… it looks like the writing is on the wall.

The insider also tells Chattr that people had “on camera personalities” and “off camera personalities”, and says there was a “lack of authenticity”.

“On cameras some of the guys would pretend to criticise behaviour and act like they disliked other grooms, but then once the cameras stopped rolling they would all be friends again,” the source explains.

Sounds juicy. It will be interesting to see how Jamie takes the news when this plays out on screen!

Australian Idol 2025’s William Le Brun has a Christmas Single and it’s as smooth as you’d think

William Le Brun stepped onto the Australian Idol 2025  arena in Episode 1, looking schmick as always and delivering a jazzy twist to Blinding Lights by The Weeknd during auditions.

His smooth vocals earned him a Golden Ticket before a spot in the Top 24, where he was paired with Bony and Jazz. But it was Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines who saw something extra special in him, handing him a coveted Fast Pass straight to the Top 12.

“I’m here to introduce my generation to the old generation,” William declared during his Idol intro.

Without a doubt the 21-year-old Melbournian is putting jazz and swing back in the spotlight. But what else do we know about the Crooner who’s out to give Michael Bublé a run for his money?

Here’s everything you need to know about Australian Idol’s William.

He’s already released a Christmas single

Before Australian Idol, William was making moves in already making moves in the field.

Last November, he dropped a silky-smooth cover of It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, produced by Phil Turcio.

It marked his first professional recording, and it really does sound like something straight off a holiday movie soundtrack. Netflix, take note!

He started singing at home and at church

William has been performing for as long as he can remember, starting with his family.

“He blew us all away at a young age,” his mum said during his audition.

From the photos shown during his audition, it looks like he was a church choir kid. And he still performs at his local parish!

Nowadays, he’s a wedding singer

Unsurprisingly, his dulcet tones have made him a go-to for weddings. According to his website, William specialises in performances for weddings, corporate functions, and special events.

“My mission is to transform every venue into a vibrant and joyful atmosphere,” it reads.

“For me, entertaining is more than just a profession — it’s a calling.” We can imagine!

His repertoire is classic, blending jazz, pop, and swing. He cites icons like Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, and Nat King Cole, as well as contemporary stars like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, and Adele.

Now that he’s on Australian Idol, we’re excited to see where his calling takes him next.

Watch Australian Idol 2025’s Jake Whittaker do a shoey

Our cowboy hats have been tipped for Jake Whittaker ever since he stepped into the Australian Idol 2025 auditions and delivered a soul-stirring, country-fied rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

The South-East Queensland singer-songwriter kept our boots scootin’ when he hit the Top 24, performing You’re Still The One by Shania Twain alongside Jaymon Bob and Emma Jones

Now the 29-year-old has cracked the Top 12, and we can’t wait to see he pulls out of the hat next.Let’s get to know Jake from Australian Idol 2025 a little better!

He’s been in the music game for a while

Jake isn’t a newcomer to the music scene. According to his website, his debut single, Round Here (released in 2023), got airtime on KIX Country, ABC Country, and 94One Today’s Country. It even landed on Apple Music playlists and community radio stations across Australia and internationally. Not too shabby.

His roots may be in soul, blues, and funk, but country music has always been his true love. He cites Brothers Osborne, Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen, and Luke Combs as his biggest influences.

He even shared a throwback on his Insta showing just how far he’s come, and wow, baby Jake looked completely different!

When he’s not singing, he’s selling cars

Off the stage, Jake sells cars at his family’s dealership, although he says it was never the dream.

“All I want to be is a musician and a singer,” he shared in his Idol intro.

His dad, Grant, agreed, joking that Jake is “definitely a better singer,” than a car salesman.

But despite it not being his passion, Jake’s family clearly means everything to him. “He’s a great son, great brother, great husband to his wife, and he’s a great father,” his Dad said, tearing up up. Aw!

He’s a proud new dad

Jake and his wife, Nicole Steel, welcomed their adorable baby boy, Edward Raymond Whittaker (aka Eddie), on April 30, 2024.

At his Australian Idol audition, Jake stated he was doing this for his family.

“He’s awesome, and he’s so chill,” Jake gushed about baby Eddie.

“I’m so grateful to have him. He’s going to be my best mate, just like I am with my dad.” C-U-T-E!

And yes, you can watch him do a shoey!

To mark the release of his 2024 single Shoey, Jake did exactly what the title suggests — more than a few times.

His Insta is proof that he fully embraced the Aussie tradition, and honestly, we respect the commitment.

Seems like a top bloke. We can’t wait to see how Jake goes on Australian Idol!

MAFS 2025 Recap Episode 25: Dave’s response to Jamie’s L-bomb

Jamie thinks it would be ear porn if the experts gave Lauren some harsh truths at tonight’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Commitment Ceremony; meanwhile, Carina might piss herself.

Lauren and ClintLauren and Clint walk through at the last minute and I’d be surprised if production hadn’t already used this trick for Tim and Morena. The children have at it before Daddy John jumps in and demands they sit on the couch.

Clint and Lauren from MAFS 2025 sit on a green couch, looking serious during a conversation in a dimly lit setting
Whatever you say daddy

I am sad to report Lauren is still trying to make Boganic happen. Jamie is also still trying to make interrupting happen, and Clint is still trying to make swear-words-feel-natural-coming-out-of-his-mouth happen.

Somewhere in the wildfire, Lauren tells Adrian that he probably doesn’t receive many invites to parties (lol) and Adrian calls her “crazy” for not being able to see her own behaviour. Anyone got a mirror? The audacity.

Lauren from MAFS 2025 sits on a green couch wearing a denim shirt, looking serious in a dimly lit setting
Bogans

Clint and Lauren say they don’t have romantic feelings, which is a very normal thing to happen when you chuck two single people together. They both write leave. Lauren wrote she is “Leav-ing the zoo” and I’m sorry, is that mean or just plain fact?

John asks them if they’d like to stay for the rest of the ceremony (why do they call it this?) and they politely decline.

Beth and Teejay from MAFS 2025 react during a conversation, with Beth smiling and Teejay looking shocked in a warmly lit setting.
They said no to aritime!!!

Adrian and AwhinaAwhina confirms that the bar is very low with Adrian, telling the experts that even if he wanted to go to the tip with her, she’d be really happy. Adrian says that “it’s obviously obvious” he is staying and the only obviously obvious thing to me is that Awhina deserves someone better. NEXT.

Adrian and Awhina from MAFS 2025 sit closely on a green couch, smiling during a conversation
The only thing scarier than Adrian not smiling is Adrian smiling

Ryan and JacquiRyan has started complimenting Jacqui’s intellect. And fashion! It’s nice for her to be seen as more than “a model” and “hot,” she says.

Jacqui tells the experts (and Australia, again) about Ryan’s need to save his testosterone for the gym, dinner parties and commitment ceremonies, meaning his sausage shop is closed otherwise.

Ryan and Jacqui from MAFS 2025 sit closely on a green couch, smiling at each other
I have protein goals

Alessandra reminds Ryan that he doesn’t need to come for a woman to come. Yeah! It says everything we need to know about him, really. We finished their session with Jacqui crying after she got in trouble with the school principal (Ryan).

They stay, but as they go back to the others, Ryan puts his arm around Jacqui but hits her head on the way. I’m sure we’ll hear about this for the next three years of our lives.

Veronica and EliotVeronica reckons she’s been filtering her personality to make Eliot more comfortable, and yeah, we’ve all been there. They both feel like the other doesn’t like them, so the experts are as confused as us when they both write “stay” anyway.

Veronica and Eliot from MAFS 2025 sit on a green couch, looking serious during a conversation
I hate you let’s continue this relationship

Rhi and JeffThey can see themselves falling in love with each other. I’d make a joke about hitting up your ex for round two if I weren’t quite literally dating mine. They stay.

Rhi and Jeff from MAFS 2025 sit closely on a green couch, smiling and engaged in conversation
OK fine this is kind of cute

Beth and TeejayBeth doesn’t think Teejay is attracted to her even though he consistently admires her anoos. They stay.

Teejay and Beth sit on a green couch, with Beth speaking and Teejay listening.
My anoos thanks you

Carina and PaulThe couple arrives for the Cadbury commercial, and I’m pleased to report that Carina is not Miles Davis’ level of cool yet. She has, however, dared to bring up the Mean Girls reference again.

A chaotic cafeteria fight scene from Mean Girls, with Cady tackling Regina as students cheer
where is the lie

Jamie finds this insulting while insulting Carina for her feelings, opinions, and general existence. Carina tells the experts that she doesn’t feel intelligent enough in this situation, like her feelings are invalid and dumbed down. She and Paul stay another week.

Carina and Paul sit on a green couch, with Carina speaking and Paul listening intently
I will never understand the couple dressing on this show

Jamie and DaveJamie thinks she is a “mumma bear” who “protects her cubs” and Alessandra informs Jamie that she’s identifying with the wrong species. Jamie then turns to Carina and gives her a very sincere apology that could’ve also qualified in a staring contest.

Dave and Jamie from MAFS 2025 sit on a green couch, with Jamie speaking and Dave listening
I’m sorry for shutting everyone’s mouths

Jamie says she’s in love with Big Dave, and as someone who will jump off a bridge for any man over 6 foot 3, I can’t say I’m surprised. Dave is also not surprised.

Are we hearing this music? Is… Law & Order about to start? I smell heartbreak for these two.

MAFS 2025: When do Lauren and Clint leave the show?

The writing on the wall for Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 couple Clint Rice and Lauren Hall after the disastrous Couples Retreat. And now, a secret source has told Chattr exactly when Clint and Lauren leave the experiment.

It won’t be a surprise for viewers that the couple want to get out of there, because Lauren admitted that there isn’t a “spark” with her TV husband during a recent episode.

However, they are still putting on a united front, with the couple boycotting the latest Dinner Party and having a nice and peaceful meal in their apartment instead.

The insider tells us Chattr that Clint and Lauren won’t make it to Final Vows as both write Leave at the upcoming Commitment Ceremony on Sunday.

Lauren and Clint leave at the next Commitment Ceremony, and over the next few weeks the experiment also loses Beth [Kelly] and Teejay [Halkias], as well as Veronica [Cloherty] and Eliot [Donovan],” the source spills.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out!

MAFS 2025 Clint Rice and Lauren Hall

Do Clint and Lauren stay together after MAFS?

The fact that Clint and Lauren have no “spark” and leave the experiment makes it pretty clear that they’re no longer together.

Plus, there are rumours that Clint is now dating Jacqueline Burfoot and has even moved her into his mansion in Tasmania.

Apparently, the pair started talking after Final Vows when Clint slid into Jacqui’s DMs. Jacqui has been seen liking photos and videos of Clint’s dogs on his dogs’ Instagram page.

Clint and Jacqui have yet to hard launch their relationship, but it’s believed they make their debut during the reunion. Now that’s going to be a juicy episode!

The DJ partner of Australian Survivor’s Kate was the lead on another reality TV show

Since Australian Survivor 2025 hit our screens, a few standout castaways have already caught our attention, including Kate Gloufchis. While it’s Kate’s first time on a television show, she likely got some tips from her Reality TV veteran bestie and DJ partner.

Kate is the co-founder and director of Female KAOS, a DJ duo consisting of her and her best mate, Sophie Blackley. If the name sounds familiar to you, then congrats—you’ve officially earned Reality TV expert status because Sophie was the lead on Fboy Island Australia 2023.

Sophie was one of three leading women whose goal was to sift their way through a group of FBoys and Nice Guys and leave the show with a man who wouldn’t screw her over.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for Sophie, who broke up with her chosen FBoy Joshie Allen, before the show even started airing.

Now, it’s Kate’s turn for the limelight. Will she come out triumphant and win Australian Survivor 2025? Things are looking promising for the Melbourne-based beauty who hasn’t been near the Survivor chopping block just yet.

Here’s everything you need to know about her.

Australian Survivor’s Kate Gloufchis works as a DJ

Female Kaos cofounder and director Kate works as a DJ and dancer with Sophie. The duo also founded an epic quad dance troupe, Kaos Dancers.

According to their official website, KAOS is “an electrifying female duo that blends stunning dance performances with live DJ-ing to create an unforgettable entertainment experience.”

“Whether it’s their fiery stage presence, phenomenal choreography, or their unique music selection, KAOS knows how to bring the party to life.” Sounds sick!

Kate got a boob job straight after filming Australian Survivor

In October 2024, Kate revealed on TikTok that she’d gotten breast implants. The Australian Survivor Brains v Brawn II season wrapped filming in mid-September of that same year.

Now, we all know that boob jobs aren’t exactly cheap — so could they be a hint that Kate won the title of Sole Survivor and scored the $500,000 prize money?!

Immediately after getting the surgery, Kate took to Instagram to document her journey.

“I’ve wanted a boob job forever now,” she said in one of the clips. “But, my best friend got one while I was away, and she couldn’t be the only one that has boobs because we’re DJ partners, and, you know, I had to have boobs too; everyone says we’re like sisters.”

MAFS’ Jacqui calls out Clint’s Couples Retreat behaviour: ‘No excuses’

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 bride Jacqueline Burfoot has criticised her rumoured boyfriend Clint Rice over his recent behaviour at the Couples Retreat. The groom was seen telling Jamie Marinos to “sit the fuck down”, which didn’t sit right with viewers or Jacqui.

She took to her Instagram Story to explain how she didn’t like Clint swearing at Jamie, and revealed that the pair had discussed it in detail.

“I didn’t like Clint swearing either. I spoke to him about it and he apologised. No excuses to react in this way but he wasn’t happy that people were physically standing up, moving towards and yelling at his TV wife,” Jacqui said.

“Personally I do something different — I think if you don’t like someone’s behaviour you walk away and ignore them. Remove yourself from the group and stop spending time around them. Unfortunately often you are forced to be in these group settings,” she added.

Jacqui went on to say she had received similar pack treatment from the other contestants, where she was yelled at and sworn by the grooms and brides.

“I proceeded to tell people to stop being so rude, and it resulted in being the subject of continued bullying and harassment because it didn’t seem to solve the problem. You can see how addressing people like Beth [Kelly] and Rhi [Disljenkovic] for their unwanted behaviour didn’t really get the message across.”

The bride admitted that if she did MAFS again, she would boycott every group setting.

“People behaved like school kids and it felt like nobody was respected for having their own opinion or allowed to voice anything unless they were one of the loudest or most aggressive,” Jacqui spilled.

“I spent the whole season listening to people yell at me for bullshit and being interrupted or shut down when I tried to speak.”

That’s so juicy! Wonder what else Jacqui and Clint have been discussing? The reunion is going to be epic.

How to watch Survivor US Season 48 in Australia

Gone are the days when viewers in Australia missed out on watching all the new Survivor US drops as soon as they aired in America.

Thanks to some new broadcast deals, Survivor US Season 48 is available to watch in Australia at practically the same time it drops in the Northern Hemisphere.

Unlike Australian Survivor, the new season, which is filmed in Fiji and sees a group of castaways battle it out for a million $USD prize, doesn’t have a theme. In fact, ever since Survivor US entered its new-era in Season 41, it did away with themed seasons.

Regardless of the lack of a theme, Survivor US host and Executive Producer Jeff Probst is confident that Season 48 will be a success.

“I think Survivor 48 is going to satisfy on a lot of levels. And there are some moments that have never happened,” he said.

“I think Survivor right now is as good as it’s ever been. And I say that not with hubris but with confidence that our storytelling is as good as we have ever been. Our casting is as good as it’s ever been. The game design is as good as it’s ever been. “

But don’t take Jeff’s word for it; find out how to watch Survivor Season 48 in Australia below.

When are all of the AFL Opening Round games on TV? Cyclone Alfred has caused a switch-up

The Opening Round of the AFL 2025 Season was scheduled to kick off on March 6 at The Gabba in Queensland, but Tropical Cyclone Alfred has put a dent in the schedule.

Two games have been postponed due to the severe weather, but the rest of the Opening Round will run as scheduled.

Find out what games have been postponed due to Cyclone Alfred, when they’ve been rescheduled and when all of the AFL Opening Round games will be aired on TV.

Which AFL Games have been postponed because of Cyclone Alfred, and when will they play?

Two games have been postponed because of the Cyclone; the season-opening clash between Brisbane Lions and Geelong Cats and Saturday night’s game between Essendon Bombers and Gold Coast Suns.

The Brisbane and Geelong match has been rescheduled for March 29 at 6:35pm local time.

However, the Essendon and Gold Coast game was harder to reschedule because both teams have different bye weeks. For that reason, the league moved the game until the end of the season, when Essendon and Gold Coast are both scheduled to play two games in the final round.

When are all of the AFL Opening Round games on TV?

Only two of the four Opening Round games will be played this weekend. Those games were scheduled to take place at stadiums outside of Queensland, where Cyclone Alfred is expected to make landfall.

Sydney Swans vs Hawthorn Hawks

The Sydney and Hawthorn game will air live at 7.00pm AEDT on March 7 on Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport in Sydney and Melbourne.

GWS Giants vs Collingwood Magpies

The West Sydney and Collingwood game will air live at 7.30pm AEDT on March 8 on Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport in Sydney and Melbourne.

All games will be Broadcast on Fox Footy on Foxtel & streamed on Kayo.

Watch the AFL Opening Round on Channel 7, 7Mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.

MAFS 2025: Cleo spills juicy details about her secret relationship with Paul

Here’s a Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 couple swap we didn’t see coming! Apparently, Paul Antoine and Awhina Rutene’s twin Cleo Rutene had a relationship before the groom went on MAFS. Wonder if producers knew this and wanted to stir up some drama?

Paul had also dated his onscreen wife Carina Mirable prior to the show, so perhaps Perth has a really small dating pool?

Cleo tells Chattr she had a “short” relationship with Paul back on 2022, and surprisingly, she met him the old fashioned way.

“We did not meet on a dating app. I was out to dinner with friends and we spotted one another on the walk to the restaurant,” she says.

The pair broke up before he went on The Love Boat but “remained friends aftewards”.

“[Our breakup] was a mutual decision as we were both at different stages in our life and I supported him with going on The Love Boat as I had just come out of a long term relationship and had never spent time being single,” she reveals.

Cleo spills that Awhina and Paul recognised each other during the first Dinner Party and the groom was open about his past relationship with Carina.

“[Our relationship] was never hidden, everyone is allowed to have had a life before the show,” she adds.

Awhina’s twin sister stresses that there’s no romance or spark between her and Paul now, saying that they’re “only friends, nothing more”.

Fans question if the MAFS cast are ‘plants’

After the popular Instagram account MAFS Uncensored shared the news about Cleo and Paul, viewers started commenting in disbelief. Some wondered how so many couples and contestants had connections, something that hadn’t really happened in previous seasons.

“[Is] this show just filled with plants and everyone is managed by the same people? Australia is a pretty big place, the chances that a small handful of people on a show all somehow have either banged or know each other is astronomical,” one person wrote.

“Does anybody this season not have a connection to someone else?” another asked.

“Perth really is incestuous and this revelation is a little bit vomity,” a third remarked.

MAFS 2025 Carina and Paul
Carina and Paul also knew each other before the show. Image: Nine

“And I bet they all followed each other on socials before this. Just goes to show there’s nothing genuine about this programme anymore. If there ever was,” another said.

However, Cleo dismisses this, saying they didn’t hide their relationship but it’s unlikely producers discovered their connection.

“Producers would not have known as I wasn’t a participant for them to investigate,” she says.

Wonder if there will be any other secret relationships that emerge? We’ll just have to wait and see!

It’s well known that the Drive to Survive racers are paid the big bucks, but seeing the Formula 1 drivers’ net worth puts things into perspective.

Survivor’s Paulie on how he got in shape to become a challenge beast: ‘I ramped it up big time’

One glance at Australian Survivor‘s Paulie, and it’s clear that that man is in shape, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that he’s been a bit of a challenge beast so far.

Though the castaways are still separated into two teams, Brains and Brawn, which means they compete as a group in challenges, Paulie has certainly been doing a lot of the heavy lifting on his tribe.

During an interview with Chattr, Paulie broke down exactly how he got in such good shape ahead of his stint on Australian Survivor 2025.

Paulie worked out 12 times a week ahead of Australian Survivor

While Paulie stressed that he loves to stay healthy for his own mental health, he told Chattr that he ramped up his training schedule “big time” before the show.

“I like to train. It’s good for my mental health, and it’s good for my well-being. But I was really lucky because I already had three weeks of annual leave booked in before I was due to fly out for Survivor.

“So for those three weeks, I was doing CrossFit five times a week. I was swimming three times a week, and I was doing multiple Pilates sessions a week as well.

“I was doing 12 sessions a week of training, and all I was doing was eating, training and sleeping, and it was the best preparation that I could have done.”

How Paulie’s workout regime helped with Survivor challenges

While Paulie’s intense workout certainly made him look good, he told Chattr that it drastically helped him with the challenges, too.

In Episode 8, Paulie was the last Brawn left in a gruelling challenge that saw him hanging onto a wall with pegs removed until he was supporting his entire body weight with both hands on one peg.

“CrossFit was a massive help, specifically in that peg challenge, working on my grip strength. Pilates also helped with that,” he said.

Paulie explained that his fitness routine not only helped him build muscle for the challenges but also made him mentally stronger.

“CrossFit also helped with the endurance because you have to push, and so obviously, when you’re on Survivor, you’re malnourished, you’re depleted, you’re so fatigued.

“So when I’m doing those hardcore CrossFit sessions at home, I’m pushing through that pain. So, I taught myself how to keep going, even when I felt like I needed to give up.

“On Survivor, those challenges are really, really challenging, specifically because you’re so fatigued, but because my body was already sort of petitioned for that, I was able to perform well.”

So there you have it, you can have a body like Paulie’s too — all you need to do is spend half of your life in the gym.

Everything you need to know about Drive to Survive Season 7

It’s safe to say our very own Australian Oscar Piastri will be a main character on Drive To Survive Season 7 after he climbed the ranks and narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the F1 2024 season.

The McLaren driver famously flipped out at word title winner Max Verstappen in the 2024 season finale race in Abu Dhabi — a dramatic move that Drive to Survive producers will surely welcome with open arms.

Fellow Aussie and fan-favourite Daniel Ricciardo will also return for the new season.

ICYMI, while Drive to Survive does follow the Formula 1 drivers throughout their season, unlike the races that are broadcast live, it zeroes in on the behind-the-scenes drama.

So, if you like your racing with a side of scandal, read on to find out everything you need to know about the upcoming Drive to Survive Season 7.

When does Drive To Survive Season 7 come out?

Drive to Survive Season 7 will be released on Netflix on March 7.

The new season will air a week before the Formula 1 2025 season kicks off, giving fans an opportunity to whet their appetites in the lead-up.

Do all the episodes drop at once?

Yes! All ten episodes will be released at the same time.

Is there a Drive to Survive Season 7 trailer?

There is. You can watch it below.

Who’s in the cast?

All of the usual suspects will be returning for Season 7. Among the drivers will be Oscar, Max and Daniel, as well as Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz Jr., Charles LeClerc, Sergio Perez, George Russel, Liam Lawson, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Jack Doohan, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen Yuki Tsunoda, Alex Albon, Logan Sargeant, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

Newcomers include Kimi Antonelli and Ollie Bearman.

Of course, the well-known team principals will be back too, including Mercede’s Toto Wolff and Red Bull’s Christian Horner.

We can’t wait to see what the latter has to say about *that* cheating scandal involving Ginger Spice.

MAFS’ Jamie reveals ‘divide’ between the cast: ‘I don’t care to speak to her at all’

The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 cast have started turning on each other, with Jamie Marinos confirming there is a “divide” amongst the participants.

She went off at Carina Mirable and Rhi Disljenkovic during last night’s Dinner Party after they didn’t back her during an argument with Lauren Hall, and it seems like some friendships have been permanently fractured.

While Rhi and Jamie made up, Carina refused to apologise which made Jamie go scorched earth on her.

Jamie tells Chattr there are “obviously divides in the cast”, and we will see how the relationships play out on screen.

“Carina is someone who doesn’t have access to me as a friend. I’ll be friendly with her but you know, you learn a really good lesson,” she spills.

Jamie no longer speaks to Sierah Swepstone, Tim Gromie, Clint Rice or Lauren, and hints that she’s also done with Veronica Cloherty — who she had a fight with during the Dinner Party.

“There’s a few people [I don’t speak to], and honestly, I didn’t really speak to [them] whilst I was filming. It’s not like I don’t like them… I’m close to Tony [Mojanovski], so I don’t really speak to Morena [Farina]. I never spoke to Tim. I never had Paul [Antoine] or Ryan [Donnelly’s] number,” she adds.

“But when it comes to falling out [with cast members], I’d say you know, Carina, Veronica, they’re just people I just didn’t click with.”

Jamie adds that Lauren is “irrelevant” to her life, saying she has “nothing to say to” her.

“I don’t care to speak to her at all. I think now people can kind of see the type of person she is. I wouldn’t want to welcome that into my very peaceful life,” she says.

“I know Clint has tried to reach out a few times, but at the same time, I don’t really have much to talk to Clint about… a grown man cussing out a woman, probably not my type of guy to have a friendship with.”

However, Jamie is really good friends with Awhina Rutene and also gets along well with Jacqueline Burfoot.

“Awhina, she’s honestly such a genuine person, such a good friend and support system… she was scolding everyone for not sticking up for me, like she was just amazing,” Jamie says.

“Jacqui is someone I actually don’t really have any issues with at all… I think Jacqui was dealing with a tough situation. It’s a high-pressure environment, so maybe she didn’t act her higher self, but her support during the [Couples Retreat] altercation meant everything [to] me.”

Who else is feuding on MAFS?

It’s safe to say that Lauren is feuding with almost all of the cast, after declaring they were all “losers”. The only people she still keeps in touch with are Jacqui and Clint.

We also know that Jacqui and Rhi no longer speak, after the pair have been publicly fighting through interviews and social media

It seems like Veronica is dragged into this mess and also starts feuding with Rhi, after her husband Eliot Donovan shares a bed with the bride

“I don’t appreciate my husband lying to me about sharing a bed with another wife,” Veronica is believed to have told Rhi.

Plus, Awhina told Chattr her friendship with Sierah will “never recover” after she had dinner with Awhina’s husband Adrian Araouzou behind her back.

There’s still homestays and the partner swap to come, so who knows — maybe some fresh new feuds are on the horizon!

Sophie Mills questions whether the Love Island Superfans actually exist

In recent years, Love Island Australia has introduced Superfans, who are *apparently* a group of select fans that watch the episodes early and make decisions about the Islanders’ fate.

Throughout the season, the Superfans can make decisions like who is booted from the villa and who is matched up — and they always seem to want maximum drama in the villa.

However, while Channel 9 asks real-life fans to apply for the role of a Superfan, Love Island 2024’s Sophie Mills has questioned who the Superfans actually are.

During an interview with the Wheres Your Head At podcast, hosted by former Islanders Anna McEvoy and Matt Zukowski, Sophie reflected on being coupled up in the villa with her ex, Zane Prophet, by the Superfans.

Sophie and Zane before hotel Amor on Love Island Australia
Sophie and Zayn when they discovered they were paired up by the Superfans. Image: Nine.

“I do the quotation marks because we don’t know. I’ve never met a Superfan,” Sophie said, explaining that she was doing air quotes while mentioning the phrase.

Anna added, “I don’t think they exist.”

Sophie questioned why not a single Superfan has ever come forward.

“I think they’ve signed an NDA, but we signed NDA’s going in too, and I still told people I was doing it,” she said.

How to apply to be a Superfan

Unlike Love Island UK and Love Island USA, the Australian format of the franchise isn’t filmed live. Generally, the season is filmed around September and airs at the beginning of November.

Because the season isn’t live, Love Island calls for Superfans to apply. These fans will replace audience voting and make decisions for the Islanders.

Em and Mercedes on Love Island Australia 2024.
Love Island Australia 2024 winners Em and Mercedes.. Image: Nine.

While the jury’s still out on whether the Superfans actually exist, an application to be a Superfan goes live on the official Love Island website prior to the season airing. The last call was placed in July 2024, about two months before the 2024 season started airing.

So, if that’s anything to go off, the next questionable Superfan application process will kick off in July 2024.

If anyone hears (absolutely anything) back, be sure to let us know.

MAFS’ Carina breaks silence on heated Jamie feud

The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party was an absolute mess last night, with Jamie Marinos unleashing on both Carina Mirable and Rhi Disljenkovic.

Somehow, even though Lauren Hall started all the drama at the Couples Retreat, she was off having a lovely and peaceful dinner with her husband Clint Rice while the other brides went for the jugular.

At this stage, it seems like Carina and Jamie’s friendship is over. Jamie told Carina to shut her mouth, and Carina ended up walking out of the Dinner Party before crying.

Carina has now shared her side of the story on the Married At First Sight Official Podcast, telling Shelly Horton she was “shocked” when Jamie verbally attacked her.

“I’m not good at confrontation. When she was coming at me, which I never thought throughout the whole duration of that experiment, Jamie and I would be butting heads, and I was just a bit shocked by it and a little bit like, felt confused to a degree,” Carina said.

“I was like, I have been there for you; you have been there for me the whole experiment, we’ve given each other good advice; why do you feel like I’m not backing you? I might not say it, but I’m still there.”

@shellyhorton4 There was no retreating from that @Married At First Sight retreat. Jaime’s fierce loyalty is truly admirable. But does her firey nature go too far? It was tough to see Carina, who is the peacemaker under attack. Jaime’s stance is clear: if you aren’t defending her, you’re dead to her. But shouldn’t that anger be directed solely at Lauren who started it all? How important is loyalty in friendships for you? Should friends always defend each other, or is there room for peacekeeping? Watch the Official @mafs podcast on @9now or listen wherever you get your @9podcasts_au #mafs #mafsaustralia #marriedatfirstsight #podcast ♬ original sound – ShellyHorton

Carina added that she wanted to be the “peacemaker” in the situation because she was friends with both Jamie and Lauren.

“I want us all to understand each other’s point of views, and just help each other out in the relationship, because essentially that’s what the whole experiment is about,” Carina said.

The bride admitted that Jamie “didn’t take it that way” and expected more support from her.

“And looking back, I understand that, and I understand that if the roles were reversed, I would want her to help me in so many ways,” she explained.

Are Carina and Lauren still friends after MAFS?

Carina told Shelly that she was taken aback after she watched the episode and saw all the insults Lauren hurled at the brides.

“I had no idea half of that stuff was going on. So yes, have I changed my view about Lauren? I haven’t spoken to her since we finished filming,” Carina revealed.

“I got along with her [at the time]. Do I condone the words that she said? Absolutely not, volatile, nasty words and I don’t stand by it.”

MAFS 2025 Dinner Party Carina Mirable Paul Antoine
Carina and Paul at the Dinner Party. Image: Nine

Carina added that Lauren and Clint’s decision to skip the dinner party makes them seem “weak”.

“It shows a lack of respect for everyone around them, it shows what they value and who they value and that’s a very big thing for anyone,” she declared.

“It also made me feel that they are weak to a certain degree, because why did they not face the music?”

This MAFS reunion is going to be very interesting!
