Feras crowned the winner of Australian Survivor 2024 in Tribal Council landslide

Australian Survivor 2024’s Feras Basal has made history as the first Arab Australian to be crowned Sole Survivor.

After 50 days on the Samoan island, Feras faced Caroline Courtis in the final with the jury unanimously voting him as the winner.

Beating Caroline was Feras’ last hurdle after he played a part in both Mark Warnock’s elimination in third place, and his nemesis-turned-ally Kirby Bently in fifth. Meanwhile, Feras’ close friend Raymond Chaney came in fourth place.

What was the final Immunity Challenge?

During the final Immunity Challenge, Mark, Caroline and Feras were positioned on a huge wooden turning wheel with pegs sticking out for the hands and feet. As the wheel turned, the contestants had to adjust themselves and avoid falling off. Plus, they were surrounded by fire.

Mark was the first out, lasting two hours and fifteen minutes while Caroline stepped off after two hours and thirty minutes. Feras was the last man standing, claiming Individual Immunity and a guaranteed position in the final two.

As well as making the Grand Final, Feras had the advantage of choosing who would sit next to him. He chose to take Caroline, and Mark was eliminated.

What were Feras and Caroline’s pitches?

At the final Tribal Council, Feras and Caroline had the opportunity to pitch to the jury – made up of former contestants – why they think they deserve to win Australian Survivor.

Compared to her rival, Caroline headed into her speech knowing that the Jury may think she was a weaker link, so she pitched to the massive threats she eliminated in the game and the power couple she had split up.

Meanwhile, Feras told the jury about the strong alliances he had built through the game and explained to them how he knew when to use big players as a shield, and when to emerge as a big player of his own.

How did the votes go?

Feras received votes from every Jury remember – Ri, Aileen, Alex, Jaden, Kitty, Raymond, Valeria, Kirby and Mark — winning him the title of Sole Survivor for Australian Survivor 2024.

“I am absolutely over the moon. I did not, in a million years, think I could make it on Survivor let alone win the bloody game! I’m literally still shaking,” he said in the producer-led post-win interview.

The tribe has spoken! Here’s who left Survivor Australia 2024 last night

Twenty-four competitors arrived in Samoa, each aiming to claim the coveted title of Australian Survivor: Titans v Rebels Sole Survivor. To triumph, they had to strategically outplay and outlast the others, as one by one, castaways were voted off and left the show.

After half the contestants were eliminated, a merge took place with each person out for themselves and from that point on, anyone who was kicked off the island, would become a member of the Survivor Jury.

So, who has left Australian Survivor 2024 so far and who is now a juror?! Scroll through to find out!

Betting odds hint the Australian Survivor 2024 winner has leaked and there’s one clear leader

If you’re wondering who will Outwit, Outplay and Outlast on Survivor Australia 2024, then you’re in luck, because the winner may have just leaked.

Betting odds indicate that one of the most strategic castaways thus far will take home the title of Sole Survivor and the $500,000 prize money.

Outspoken Feras Basal has the best return of just $1.23 to win this year’s Survivor Australia. Which is… insanely low.

The player with the next best odds to win is Diplomat Mark Warnock, with a huge jump to a $6.00 return.

In last place sits Caroline Courtis with a return of $7.50 for every one-dollar bet on her.

When a contestant has winning betting odds, it means that people bet the most money that that person will win.

Mark and Feras on Australian Survivor
Mark and Feras on Survivor. Ten.

What do betting odds mean?

Betting odds are based on dollar value. If someone bets $1, they’d receive back the amount the team was listed at. For example, if someone bets $1 on Feras and he wins, they’d receive a $1.23 return. This corresponds with the amount deposited, so $10 would turn into $12.30, $100 would turn into $123, and so on.

In other words, if you bet on Feras and he wound up winning you won’t really make too much moolah.

Betting odds for each of the Survivor 2024 contestants

At the time of writing, these are the Sportsbet betting odds.

  • Feras Basal $1.23
  • Mark Warnock $6.00
  • Caroline Courtis $7.50
Feras with his Idol. Ten.

Do betting odds correctly guess the winner?

Not always, however, betting odds can often be a good indicator of who will win a show.

Most recently, betting odds suggested that Steph and Gian would win The Block 2023, which they well and truly did, with a profit of $1.65 million, plus $100,000 in prize money.

Similarly, Liz Parnov had the best odds to win Survivor Australia 2023 and she was, in fact, crowned the winner.

Ready for the Australian Survivor Grand Final? Here’s everything you need to know

Three contestants have outwitted, outplayed and outlasted their fellow tribemates and have made it to the Australian Survivor Grand Final.

During tonight’s episode, one of the remaining castaways will be eliminated, and two will sit in front of a Jury made up of former contestants who will decide the winner.

Ahead of the finale, here’s everything you need to know.

When will it be on?

The 2024 Australian Survivor finale kicks off from 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Who’s in the Australian Survivor Grand Final?

Feras Basal, Caroline Courtis and Mark Warnock will battle it out to be crowned the 2024 Sole Survivor.

Caroline and Mark on Australian Survivor. Ten.

Who’s on the jury?

Like previous years, the Jury is made up of the eliminated castaways. The first to join the jury was Aileen, and every contestant who’s voted since then has automatically joined.

At the moment there are eight jurors; Aileen, Jaden, Valeria, Alex, Rianna, Kitty, Kirby and Raymond. Whoever is eliminated at the first Tribal Council tonight will join them.

Kitty, Alex, Jaden, Rianna, Valeria and Aileen on the Jury. Ten.

How many challenges will there be?

Tonight’s episode will be action-packed, but there will only be one Immunity Challenge.

In the first, Caroline, Alex and Feras will face off against each other. The final challenge is usually endurance-based, and the previews suggest that that’s the cast this year.

Whoever wins is automatically immune from the vote, meaning that the other two contestants’ votes are essentially cancelled out and the Immunity Challenge winner will get to pick who they sit next to in the Grand Final.

The challenge on Australian Survivor Grand Final
The final Immunity Challenge. Ten.

What happens at the final Tribal Council?

The final two will have a chance to pitch for themselves, during which they will normally reveal their gameplay, which the jury may not already know about, and say why they think they deserve to win.

Each member of the Jury also gets a chance to ask the final two a question each, so expect some drama!

Then, the Jury will individually cast their vote for who they think has Outwitted, Outplayed and Outlasted, and that person will be the winner.

What does the winner get?

The winner of Australian Survivor receives a whopping $500,000 in prize money and, of course, bragging rights.

“I tore Mark a new a–hole”: Australian Survivor’s Raymond reveals unaired Tribal Council scene

Australian Survivor’s Raymond Chaney revealed that he came for Mark Warnock in an unaired scene after he tried to tear down Feras Basal at Monday night’s Tribal Council.

Throughout the entirety of Australian Survivor 2024, Raymond and Feras have had an unbreakable bond, however, that ended when Raymond was eliminated in a nail-biting fire challenge against Caroline Courtis at Tribal.

During an exclusive post-elimination interview with Chattr, Raymond revealed that there was a lot more to the Tribal Council than what was shown on TV.

“I wish that they showed more of my last Tribal because I tore Mark a new a**hole at that Tribal Council and they didn’t show it,” he said.

Raymond and Feras on Australian Survivor. Ten.

What actually happened at Raymond’s Tribal Council?

Mark wore the Immunity necklace, and it was clear that he and Caroline were voting together, which meant the result would either be a split vote, or Feras or Raymond would be sent packing.

Feras stayed true to his alliance with Raymond and voted for Caroline. With two votes on her and two on Raymond, they were given a fire-making challenge to decide who was eliminated.

However, before the challenge Mark came for Feras at Tribal intending to make him look bad in front of the jury, who will ultimately decide the winner’s fate.

“Mark was trying to do all this stuff to make it look like Feras was untrustworthy and it was obvious Jury pandering,” Raymond said.

Caroline and Mark on Australian Survivor. Ten.

“The fact that he was trying to demean Feras at my final tribal council it’s like, well you’re obviously trying to play up something.”

Winning the fire-making challenge is a big move for Survivor resumes, and can help contestants who make it to the finale gain votes from the jury. With that in mind, Raymond tried to get Mark to voluntarily take part in the challenge, even though he had immunity.

“I was there going, if Mark really wants to look good in front of the Jury, then I’m gonna make him look like the most boring blasé person on the planet, and I did that.

“I was like, ‘Mark, you know you have a chance now to beat me at Fire, why aren’t you doing it? Why don’t you actually do something in this game that actually works for a change?” He recalled.

“And he was like, ‘But why would I do that?’ I was like, ‘Because it looks like you haven’t done anything in this game’.”

Raymond thinks Mark has done “nothing” this season

Raymond revealed that Mark didn’t come off as a threat to other players during filming, because the moves he pulled barely ever worked out.

Mark on Australian Survivor. Ten.

“None of us really saw him as much of a threat, so he’s coming off probably as more of a threat in the show than how any of us perceived him because Kirby and Feras were running rings around him post-merge,” Raymond said.

“He’s done nothing! He’s done nothing… but again that’s all part of Survivor, perhaps that was part of his play.”

“It wouldn’t have been the same without him”: Australian Idol’s Ivana on her relationship with Trent

When you think of Australian Idol, you don’t necessarily think of romance; however, during the 2024 season, rumours swirled about a positive love match between Ivana Ilic and Trent Robinson.

A few weeks into the Live shows, host Scott Tweedie set social media alight, revealing that two contestants were “vibing”, before alluding to Trent and Ivana during a Live show. Of course, both remained coy, but it was pretty clear, there was definitely a connection of some sort! So cute!

Now, Ivana is setting the record straight.

“He’s one of my best friends,” Ivana told Chattr after her elimination. “He’s such a lovely guy. Such a good person.”

Admitting that she was “happy” she met him, she added that the whole process was a “wild experience”, especially the fan interest in their relationship — no matter what kind it was.

“There has been a lot of that. I never ever thought that would happen to me in my life,” she said of the fans.

The close-knit nature of the entire cast

While the 20-year-old did say that her “journey wouldn’t have been the same without him [Trent]”, she also noted that the other contestants were just as important.

“The group of friends that I’ve made, it’s crazy to think that during the Top 30 week, I only spoke to one person and now I’m really close to the rest of them,” she said. “I think everyone was a bit more shy and didn’t even really know each other yet. But I’m so happy that it turned around.”

This “close-knit” group of performers have helped each other throughout the entire journey, particularly when someone needed a shoulder to lean on.

“I think if we didn’t have that, that side of things, it would be a lot uglier,” she said.

“That show is dangerous”: MAFS bride Clare Verrall compares series to deadly Roman Gladiator fights

Former Married at First Sight bride Clare Verrall has slammed the popular reality show and likened it to watching brutal fights in the Middle Ages.

Clare appeared on season two of the experiment and has made no secret about her disdain for MAFS ever since. The 40-year-old told The Briefing Podcast that she believes watching humans being encouraged to do certain things by producers is “horrific”.

Clare Verrall and Jono Pitman on MAFS in 2016. Nine.

“It’s torture. I think what we’re doing is basically. We look back in time at say the gladiators and the Christians versus the lions and how disgusting and bloody and horrific that was that people would sit and watch that and cheer that on, we’re doing the same thing,” she said.

While Clare made her opinions about the show clear, she didn’t go into specific examples.

“I won’t go into what happened, but that show is dangerous and the things that have happened to other people on the show are horrendous. But that’s their story to tell.

Clare claims that the participants aren’t supported

It’s well known that MAFS participants are given support by counsellors throughout filming. However, Clare disputed this claim.

“They say all the stuff about all the support you get, you don’t, and you’re not giving any media training,” she told the host Antoinette Lattouf.

“You just held in an absolute lion’s den, it’s completely manipulated. They say well they knew what they were getting into you, you don’t. You think you do, You don’t. It’s so twisted,” she added.

Clare went on to point out the frankenbiting that’s used in MAFS. Frankenbiting is a term that describes when different pieces of audio are spliced together to make a sentence.

“People will say, well, they can’t make you say things you didn’t say. Yeah, they can. I’ve watched it happen. The way they cobble things together is crazy.”

Awww! A Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 couple are engaged and the ring is stunning

Farmer Wants A Wife lovebirds Claire Saunders and Andrew Coleman have announced they’re engaged.

The couple took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, posting a boomerang video of two glasses of champagne, their beloved horses and, of course, Claire’s stunning emerald ring.

“I said YES to the love of my life 💍❤️,” she wrote. “So absolutely grateful that I wake up to this life everyday. You are my best friend @farmerandrewau and my safe place, ILYSM Xx”

Claire finished the post off with a #engaged and #ourbestlife.

Claire and Andrew also shared a gorgeous photo of Andrew kissing Claire on the cheek with her ring in full view. They simply captured the pic “17-03-24”, the date they got engaged.

How long have Claire and Andrew been together?

The couple met on Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 and have recently celebrated their first anniversary together.

“Happy 1st Anniversary Lover ♥️,” Claire wrote on Instagram.

“The first year of life with you has been my favourite one yet, thanks for showing me what real love is meant to feel like..!”

Why Claire and Andrew left FWAW early

While Claire and Andrew met on the popular dating show, their ending wasn’t exactly conventional.

Early on in his journey to find love on FWAW, Andrew knew that Claire was the one for him and sent the other women packing.

“I got to the farm and there was a letter on the bed, and it said, ‘Meet me out the front, we need to talk.’ I thought I was going home, so I didn’t expect that, it was nice,” Claire told Woman’s Day at the time.

After Andrew confessed his love to Claire, the couple left the show together and moved to his farm shortly after.

Farmer Wants a Wife 2024 will air on Channel 7 and 7plus after Easter.

I’m A Celebrity’s biggest clue yet suggests a VERY famous sister is joining the cast

I’m A Celebrity Australia Australia 2024 has shortlisted nine celebrities and revealed that one of them will be entering the jungle.

“One of these Hollywood Child Stars is ACTUALLY going into the jungle! 😲 Who do you think it is?” A post on their official Instagram account reads.

Amongst the nine famous child actors are Alyssa Milano, Frankie Muniz, Jaden Smith, Jamie Lynn Spears, Jonathan Lipnicki, Lindsay Lohan, Macaulay Culkin, Molly Ringwald and Soleil Moon Frye.

While there are some big names among the bunch, Jamie Lynn Spears is among the most well-known, and a follow-up post by I’m A Celebrity suggests that she may be heading into the jungle!

The account ran a question-and-answer segment in their stories and asked fans to vote on whether they think each celebrity is going in or not. Followers voted Jamie as the most likely to be entering with 47%, while they thought Jaden Smith was the least likely at 23%.

Of course, while Jamie Lynn Spears is well known for being Britney Spear’s sister, she’s had a successful career in her own right. She played Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Zoey 101 from 2005–2008, and again for the movie reboot Zoey 102 in 2023. She’s also worked a singer and songwriter.

Has Jamie Lynn Spears been on I’m A Celebrity before?

She has! In fact, Jamie was on last year’s season of I’m A Celebrity UK, which was filmed in Australia.

She joined campmates EastEnders actor Danielle Harold and TV personality Sam Thompson in the Aussie bush, but she was the second contestant to leave and was removed for medical reasons.

Jamie on I’m A Celebrity UK. ITV.

“Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds,” a spokesperson said in a statement at the time.

“She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”

After arriving home, Jamie took to her Instagram account to call her time on the show a “once in a lifetime experience”, but could it actually be twice in a lifetime if the post is correct?!

“I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once-in-a-lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now,” Jamie wrote.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia season 10 premieres on Sunday, 24 March on 10 and 10 Play.

Netflix’s newest True Crime series The Program is a gripping, yet deeply challenging watch

Netflix has expanded its ever-growing collection of true crime docos with a riveting new documentary, The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping which explores the controversial history of the Academy at Ivy Ridge.

While originally presented as a boarding school, accounts from former students indicate the deployment of isolation tactics, coercive physical restraints, and a merit-based points system that decided the duration of their enrollment at the institution.

“The reality is torture of children,” a voiceover says. “They were being treated like prisoners.”

The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping

So, what really happened to the students at Academy at Ivy Ridge?!

Academy at Ivy Ridge

Academy at Ivy Ridge was an independent privately owned and operated for-profit behavior modification facility in Ogdensburg, New York.

The now-defunct boarding school was functional from 2001 to 2009 and was designed to rehabilitate troubled teens who were abducted. According to the doco’s director Katherine Kubler (who also attended the school), it was even more sinister than just being sent there against your will.

Academy at Ivy Ridge’s Rules and Regulations

As specified in the two-part docu-series, students weren’t allowed to communicate with the outside world, go outside, talk to one another or even smile. Interviewees in the documentary also detailed how they endured sleep and nutritional deprivation, along with compulsory participation in gruelling physical activities.

In an interview with The Sun, Katherine admitted that only once you got to Level Three of the school’s points-based system, it was a “big deal, because you were finally allowed to have a 15-minute phone call, once a month, with your parents.”

A student being restrained. Netflix

“But staff listened in and if you said anything bad about the Program, they would disconnect the call,” she said. “You can’t leave the Program until you get to level six, but it’s impossible to get points. They make it so you’re just stuck here forever.”

On top of this, student belongings were taken, there was no privacy and they had to adopt specific hairstyles.

While teachers enforced the rules, students reportedly had ‘Hope Buddies’, who guided newcomers through the Academy’s strict rules and regulations. This included carefully observing their facial expressions, and ensuring adherence to the school’s stringent codes of conduct.

“I had never done drugs in my life, but to graduate, I had to confess to using heroin, crack, cocaine, LSD…” Alexa Brand, a former student says.

The fallout from the Netflix documentary

After the documentary was released, the St. Lawrence County district attorney’s office was inundated with accusations of physical and sexual abuse against the former school and the state Attorney General’s office was also forced to re-open the investigation.

“Documents are still there, documents that we may need down the line for further prosecution,” DA Gary Pasqua said in a statement, asking the public to stay away from the facility.

“Individuals who go there because they’re curious or interested, that’s just going to interfere with our investigation.”

In addition to this, former employees have been put on leave after social media users have shared pictures, names and information about their whereabouts.

“I would have taken Feras”: Kirby reveals why she believes she’d beat him in the Survivor Grand Final

Australian Survivor powerhouse Kirby Bentley was blindsided after her strongest alliance member Feras Basal abandoned their final two pact and ultimately orchestrated her elimination at Tribal Council.

After winning multiple Immunity Challenges and orchestrating some of the season’s biggest moves, Kirby had a huge target on her back. However, her alliance mate Feras agreed to play his Idol for her, so they could get out Caroline Courtis.

But, at Tribal Feras delivered a lengthy speech about why he couldn’t play the idol for Kirby, and said that he needed to “back himself”.

“I don’t know what that speech was all about, I was like ‘Oh my god, it’s a bit long-winded’, I was just like ‘Shut up and get it done with, if we’re breaking up tell me now’,” Kirby laughed during a post-elimination interview with Chattr.

Mid-way through the season, Kirby and Feras began to form a strong relationship, and both players made a pact to take each other to the Grand Final, if they were in a position to choose.

And, while Feras didn’t uphold his side of the agreement, Kirby said that would have done everything in her power to make sure he was sitting next to her at the final.

“I would have taken Feras,” she said. “If I won the necklace tomorrow, whatever the challenge is, I still would have taken him.”

To Survivor fans, it’s obvious that Feras and Kirby were two of the strongest players this season, which begs the question of why she wouldn’t choose to take someone who’s played a “weaker” game.

“I know the game that I’ve played, I don’t know all of what he’s done, so I was backing my game, and at the end of the day, the jury decides, and I felt I had them on my side,” she said.

“I wouldn’t claim to be the best if I couldn’t beat the best. So that’s why I was adamant about it being Feras.”

Why Kirby believes the jury would have voted for her to win at the Grand Final

In Australian Survivor, a final two sit before the jury, which is made up of the most recently eliminated nine castaways. Those players have the power to cast a vote and ultimately decide who wins the title of Sole Survivor.

Kirby believes the votes would have swayed her way over Feras, should she have sat next to him, and explained why.

“I was confident in my game and what I’d done,” she said.

“My social game was massive early on, because I was big on connecting, and that was the reason why, even if I wasn’t voting with people two votes ago, I was still able to pull them in because I worked really hard on that.”

“We see my gameplay in the challenges, I was strategic in that and I sat in some I tried in some and then I sat away from some like it was a huge strength to be able to do that.”

MAFS’ most infamous villains hit the town, and yep, Jack and Tori were there

Some of the biggest villains to ever grace the Married At First Sight franchise caught up for Bryce Ruthven’s birthday over the weekend, and Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams rounded out the crew.

Bryce, who appeared in season eight of the show and went on to marry his bride Liss Rawson IRL, shared some pics from the bash on Instagram.

While it’s nothing out of the ordinary for former MAFS participants to hang out, cast members from the current season generally aren’t allowed to be photographed together, as it can spoil the ending for viewers.

However, Jack and Tori completely ignored this rule, which is very on-brand for them, and flaunted their relationship at Bryce’s party at the Burleigh Pavilion.

The MAFS couple walked up the venue hand in hand and were pictured making out while lining up for the bar.

Who else was there?

Bryce, Jack and Tori round out some of the most ‘villainous’ participants in recent times, however, they weren’t alone.

Daniel Holmes, Dan Hunj and Jason Engler happily posed for a photo with the trio after the event. All three former grooms received a bad wrap after their own season.

Daniel was involved in a cheating scandal with Carolina Santos, Dan was accused of having “multiple girlfriends” while on MAFS, and post-filming, a “homophobic” video emerged of him ridiculing bi-sexual groom Liam Cooper.

Liss explains why she wasn’t at Bryce’s birthday

Fans were quick to question why Bryce’s wife, Liss, wasn’t at his 35th birthday party.

However, the former MAFS bride attempted to shut down the rumours before they even began, by posting a birthday tribute to her husband on Friday that explained her absence.

“Happiest of birthdays dearest husband 😘” She began. “Enjoy my gift to you of a boy’s weekend away this weekend, when really, I just wanted the bed to myself for a couple of nights ♥️.”

“I could have done this better”: MAFS’ Cassandra details how she tried to save her relationship with Tristan

Cassandra Allen and Tristan Black’s Married At First Sight marriage experienced some extreme highs and lows, and Sunday’s Commitment Ceremony saw the couple pull the pug and ‘Leave’ the MAFS experiment.

Trouble first began to rear its head after Cassandra wrote ‘Leave’during the September 10th Commitment Ceremony despite Tristan confessing his love to her.

Then, in the following week, both Cassandra and Tristan decided to graciously leave the experiment.

“I think the next woman that will be with you will be the luckiest woman in the world,” Cass told Tristan.

“Cass you broke my heart, but I’m glad that you were the one who broke my heart.” He responded. “You’re the first person I told I’m falling in love for, and either way it didn’t work out but you’re stuck in my life forever.”

During an exclusive interview with Chattr, Cassandra spoke about how hard both she and Tristan tried to fight for their relationship.

“We really tried… just do the best that we can really,” she said. “I always think I could have done this better, but you’ve got to remember that you did your best at that time.”

Cassandra added that while she and Tristan got along really well, there were some huge differences in their personalities.

“Tristan is such a strong communicator and he’s very fast and clear and sharp. And I’m the opposite, sometimes I just take a bit of time to process the same things.”

Cassandra on how MAFS changed her

Cassandra said that she’s come out of MAFS a completely different person than the one who entered the experiment.

Between the advice she got from the experts and the troubles she’s faced in her relationship with Tristan, the 29-year-old said it shaped her as a person.

“You have to grow and change,” she said. “This experiment does change you in good ways and stronger ways, well for myself personally and I hope the same for the rest of the participants.

“I’m definitely not the same Cass. You have to learn to grow with your partner.”

Isaac McCallum is the small-town boy from Ulladulla with his entire community supporting him on Australian Idol 2024.

The 23-year-old musician was homeless for six months before competing on Australian Idol, and worked as a trolley boy at Woolworths. When Isaac got time off work, he spent his evenings busking, desperately trying to make his mark on the music industry.

Isaac finally landed that opportunity after auditioning for Australian Idol and working his way towards the goal of taking out the competition and taking home the $100,000 prize money.

When did Isaac McCallum start busking?

Isaac’s mum encouraged him to get into music from a young age.

“My mum has inspired me to be the man I am today,” he told the Region Illawarra.

“When I was younger, she’d encourage me to get on the stage at karaoke nights, saying, ‘If you don’t do it, you’re gonna regret it’, so I always got on the stage.”

The musician revealed that he decided to begin busking on a whim when he was a teenager.

“I started busking about six years ago. One day I got up and thought, ‘Stuff it, I’ll just go out and test it out’ – and from there my confidence kept building and building, and here I am.”

What songs has Isaac performed on Australian Idol?
