MAFS’ Mel Schilling shares concerns over Elle MacPherson’s cancer treatment messaging

Married at First Sight’s (MAFS) Mel Schilling has spoken out about Elle MacPherson’s message in which she said she treated her cancer diagnosis “holistically”.

Mel announced in late 2023 that she had been diagnosed with colon cancer after experiencing severe pain while filing the 11th season of Married At First Sight. She’s been undergoing treatment for the cancer ever since.

Meanwhile, Elle recently revealed in her upcoming memoir, Life, Lessons, and Learning to Trust Yourself that she secretly battled breast cancer seven years ago and is now in remission. The model said that she took a holistic approach to her illness.

In light of Elle’s revelation, Mel has criticised her choice to use her platform to recommend a holistic approach to treating cancer.

What did Mel Schilling say about Elle Macpherson’s holistic approach to cancer?

Mel took to her Instagram to share a video about her own experience with cancer, and to share more details about the concerns she has about Elle using her platform to talk about her own approach.

“I’m having some thoughts about Elle and the interviews she is doing lately, as a relatively new member of the cancer community and as someone who has just completed six months of chemo,” The MAFS expert said in a video shared to Instagram.

“Elle revealed several years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and saw more than 32 doctors, who advised her to have a combination of chemo, radio and hormone therapy.”

“She chose not to do that and chose a more holistic, wellness approach, which included things like prayer, meditation and so on.”

Mel went on to point out that she’s worried Elle’s message could encourage people who are suffering from cancer to avoid taking doctor’s advice.

“I believe in a holistic approach as well, but my approach includes chemo, too,” she said.

“I have a problem with Elle Macpherson, as a high-profile role model, a person who is seen to be incredibly aspirational… and she’s selling products.”

“So, for me, this message she is peddling at the moment – which is her own story, sure – but it’s plagued with judgement, arrogance, superiority and privilege. It concerns me.”

“My greatest concern is people will listen to her and then choose not to take the medical route and could be in danger –my people out there in the cancer community – who are struggling to get through chemo.

“Who would love to be able to have access to this whole range of other treatments that are probably quite expensive and maybe not accessible to the average person.”

Ready for the Hunted 2024 Grand Finale? Here’s everything you need to know

The Fugitives have been on the run all season, and while most of them have been picked off by the Hunters, two teams have made it to the Hunted Australia 2024 grand finale.

Those two teams are just a fraction away from outsmarting and outrunning the Hunters, but they still need to make it to the extraction point without being caught.

Tune into the grand final to see if they can do just that, and read on to find out everything we know about the Hunted 2024 grand final.

When is the Hunted Australia 2024 Finale?

The Hunted Australia 2024 grand finale will air on September 8 on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Who’s in the Hunted 2024 Grand Final?

So far, seven of the nine teams have been eliminated on Hunted 2024. Ahead of the grand final, just Andy and Deb and Romanee and Chelsea remain.

Hunted’s Chief Reece Dewar actually warned Chattr that Andy and Deb were a team to watch in an interview.

“Andy and Deb have an awesome background. Andy is a fireman and Deb, her dad was a safe cracker back in the day,” he said. A safecracker is a person who breaks up and robs safes,” he said.

“They’re a dynamic pair, those two,” he added.

“And the other thing is they’ve been married for over 20 years, so they know each other very well, know what they’re capable of, know what their mindset is going to be like, so they’re pretty good.“

Meanwhile, Romanee and Chelsea are mates from South Australia and Tasmania, respectively. Romanee is 25 and works as a marketing consultant while Chelsea is 26 and in finance.

What will happen in the Hunted 2024 finale?

The goal of Hunted is for the Fugitives (the Hunted Australia 2024 cast) to evade the Hunters for 21 days, and safely make it to the extraction point without being caught.

However, there was a new twist at the beginning of Hunted 2024; the Fugitives were tasked with robbing a bank and had the possibility of getting away up to a million dollars. They got away with $927,000, which was split between the nine teams, meaning they received $103,000 per team.

In order to win the $103,000 the Fugitive or Fugitives must make it to the extraction point with the stolen cash.

So, during the grand final we’ll find out if any of the Fugitives make it to the extraction and win.

What does the Hunted 2024 winner get?

There can be multiple Hunted 2024 winners – whoever makes it to the extraction point with their money wins. The players that do just that will win $103,000 between their team.

Watch the Hunted Australia 2024 grand finale on September 8 at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

“Mixed feelings”: Raygun responds to Jimmy Fallon’s parody of her

Australian Olympic breakdancer Rachael ‘Raygun‘ Gunn admitted to having “mixed feelings” about Jimmy Fallon’s parody of her routine.

Raygun became an overnight sensation after she whipped out the sprinkler and some kangaroo-style moves during the breakdancing event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The performance scored her zeros across the board and even saw The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon mocking Raygun’s moves.

During her first official interview since her Paris Olympics saga, Raygun reflected on the skit in a one-on-one chat with Waleed Aly.

“I don’t know whether to, like, hug him or yell at him! Because what a platform he ended up giving me, like, honestly,” she said during the September 4 episode of The Project.

“I haven’t actually seen the sketch ’cause I don’t think I’m in a place yet to watch it, but I will watch it at some point,” Raygun continued.

“And, you know, a few different people have kind of explained it to me and given me different takes on it.”

“But I’m still in the process of being able to describe how I feel about all this stuff because it kind of feels like a really weird dream that I’ve been having that I’m gonna wake up from at any moment. Like, what is life right now?!”

What was the reaction to Raygun’s Olympic breakdance?

Raygun received mixed reactions to her bizarre breakdown routine; some were in favour of her positive and creative attitude, while others accused her of taking the spot from other talented breakdancers.

The Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese praised Raygun’s efforts at the games.

“The Olympics is about people participating in sport – that’s a good thing. And Raygun had a crack, good on her, and a big shout-out to her,” he said during a press conference.

That is in the Australian tradition of people having a go. She’s had a go representing our country and that’s a good thing.”

Meanwhile, podcaster and internet personality Hannah Berrelli had a completely different opinion.

“Her little stunt diminishes Australia on the world stage. Hundreds of Australian athletes who will have dedicated their entire lives to athletic excellence will be forgotten because Rachael wanted to bulk up her ResearchGate profile,” Hannah wrote in a lengthy X post.

She continued, “Rather than their medals and efforts, this is what Australia will be remembered for.”

During The Project interview, Raygun responded to the criticism she received over her Olympic performance.

“It is really sad to hear those criticisms,” she said. “I am very sorry for, you know, the backlash that the community has experienced. But I can’t control how people react.”

Despite the negativity, Raygun’s certainly a woman in demand since her baffling Olympic performance. She’s already locked in a talent agent, and it’s rumoured that she’s been eyed off for the next season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Stream the September 4 episode of The Project featuring Raygun’s world-exclusive interview on 10Play.

“It was a longer interrogation”: Hunted’s Akec and Joe spill what happened with Malaan

Hunted Australia’s Akec and Joe narrowly missed out on making it to extraction after their helper Malaan spilled the beans on their location.

The friend duo decided to spend their last few days on the run between multiple contacts’ houses. However, after helper Malaan dropped them to another contact named Sami, the Hunters showed up at her house and began to interrogate her.

The scene that played out on TV made it look as though Malaan gave up information about their whereabouts straight away, but Akec said that wasn’t the case.

“It wasn’t just the minutes that we saw there [on TV], it was a longer interrogation, they were talking to her for a very long time,” the 2024 Fugitive told Chattr in a post-elimination interview.

“They had to really get the information from her to help them piece together their investigation. They would have been bad at their job if they left that place with no information,” she added.

Akec and Joe don’t blame Malaan for their elimination

After staying with Malaan, Akec and Joe gave her their bank card and asked her to use it at a random location in order to throw the Hunters off their track.

The transaction led the Hunters to Malaan’s house, and, upon arrival, she quickly confessed the street name where she’d dropped Akec and Joe. She also told the Hunters the name of the contact the Fugitives were currently with.

Despite giving away vital information which ultimately led to their elimination, Akec and Joe understand why Malaan caved.

“You’ve got professionals dressed in all black – strangers to you – who aren’t smiling, saying ‘Tell us this, tell us that’,” Joe explained.

“Of course, with the pressure, you will crack. So, I’m not mad at Malaan. I completely understand.”

Akec said that while fans may think that Malaan gave up the information too easily, they may have forgotten how experienced the Hunters actually are.

“Honestly, people think it’s easy but it’s a lot. The Hunters are former detectives and former people that were really good at their job,” she said.

Akec and joe on hunted

“They have to do whatever they have to do to get information so then they can try to piece together where we are and they can piece together how to capture us.”

But, while Akec and Joe don’t blame Malaan, they listed a way that she could potentially make it up to them.

“She does owe us a dinner,” Akec laughed. “Not 100 thousand dollars, but a dinner.”

Considering the Fugitives narrowly missed out on the $103,000 Hunted prize money, perhaps somewhere like Nobu will ease the sting?

Watch the Hunted grand finale on Sunday, September 8 at 7pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Matt Agnew reveals the other TV show he applied for before The Bachelor

Matt Agnew has revealed that he applied and was approached for The Bachelorette for two separate seasons before landing The Bachelor leading role in 2019.

Coming onto Abbie Chatfield‘s It’s A Lot podcast, the astrophysicist revealed that he actually didn’t even know he was applying to be The Bachelor when he was going through that process.

For the uninitiated, Abbie was a contestant on Matt’s season of The Bachelor. However, he broke up with her at the final rose ceremony where he instead chose to be with Chelsie McLeod.

Matt Agnew applied for The Bachelorette

“It was like two or three years earlier [I applied],” Matt explained to Abbie, saying he went onto the group interview stage before ultimately having to drop out.

The first time he pulled out because he started dating someone, and the second year they called him back, Matt wasn’t in the country to be able to film.

When it came to 2019, Matt said he “copied and pasted” all his answers from the previous years he’d submitted an application.

Matt alluded to 2016 and 2017 being the years he went through The Bachelorette application process.

For context, The Bachelorette in 2016 was Georgia Love and in 2017 it was Sophie Monk.

Georgia Love The Bachelorette
Matt Agnew alluded to almost being on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette. Image: Ten.

“The video application was several years old, I was the wrong age in it and I threw it in not thinking much about it,” he explained.

As he progressed throughout the audition process, a producer asked Matt how he’d deal with dating several women at once.

“That was when the penny dropped. I’m not actually interviewing for the show I thought I applied to,” he laughed.

Can you imagine him as a contestant on The Bachelorette?

Matt confirmed the viral “I’m a Gemini” clip with Abbie Chatfield was edited.

As Matt and Abbie were reflecting on their Bachelor journey together, the pair recalled the infamous moment where they meet for the first time.

In the clip we all saw, Matt tells Abbie he’s an astrophysicist to which she replies “I’m a Gemini”.

However, Abbie has previously clarified that’s not exactly how the exchange went down.

“Can we just confirm now that that was edited?” Abbie prompted Matt.

“100%,” he responded. Matt went on to detail that he’s been clarifying that edit since the very first interviews he had about the show.

“I was coming out and clarifying that this was a joke, you were winding me up, it landed perfectly and we had a good laugh about it.”

The pair laughed that Abbie still gets tagged in the clip once a week and Matt at least once a month.

“I’m on dating apps and the amount [of times] the opening line is “I get ‘Oh by the way, I’m a Leo’,” Matt laughed.

Abbie went on to confirm that Abbie actually asked Matt his star sign and then in response, told her his.

“That’s how it went down,” Matt validated, noting that the reaction shot they used was also unrelated to their exchange.

“It continues to fucking haunt me,” Abbie said.

Interesting!

So you’re telling us there’s a world in which Abbie and Matt never crossed paths? And Matt is somewhere to be found on the dating apps?

I’ll take the latter.

The Bachelor is available to stream on 10Play. You can watch Matt Agnew’s season here.

How Nathan Giastis kept his secret on FBoy Island: “No one knew”

FBoy Island Australia Season 2 just dropped its biggest bombshell ever, with bartender-turned-intruder Nathan Giastis revealing to Nicole Mitrov that he’s not only an FBoy — he’s gay too.

During Episode 5 on the BINGE reality show, host Abbie Chatfield showed the women the FBoy Island men‘s social media profiles.

A video of Nathan with a rainbow flag raised some questions for the ladies, leading Nathan to reveal his true sexuality during a one-on-one date with Nicole.

Why did Nathan Giastis go on FBoy Island Australia if he’s gay?

In an exclusive chat with Chattr, Nathan explained how he ended up on a primarily straight dating show and what was in it for him.

“I didn’t apply and it wasn’t really at the forefront of my head to apply for a straight dating show when I’m gay,” Nathan laughed.

He went on to say that going on FBoy Island Australia Season 2 was an opportunity for him.

“I’m not open on social media, on Instagram especially, about my sexuality,” Nathan explained to Chattr.

“So if it did come about, it was a big relief for me if it did. I’m not saying it would’ve.”

“I’m there obviously not for the right reasons but I was asked to be a part of this show obviously just to cause a bit of drama, a bit of controversy,” Nathan told Chattr.

“I’m not there to hurt anyone. I’m definitely not a horrible person at all.”

Did Nathan tell anyone on FBoy Island that he’s gay ?

“No one knew at all,” Nathan told Chattr.

“Playing one role but playing two roles as well was a big effort — especially hiding it from all the boys too. No one had any interlink that I was gay.”

Nathan explained that he also had to be careful when talking about past relationships.

“It was always ‘she’ or ‘they’,” Nathan recalled. “No one really picked up on it which was good.”

He went on to say that he was very careful and spoke slowly in order to not trip up.

How Nathan ended up as the FBoy Island mole

While Nathan initially told Nicole he was straight when she first questioned him about his sexuality, he eventually came clean during a one-on-one. So why then?

“Nicole is such an amazing girl, on camera and off camera. I wasn’t going to do anything to hurt her or her feelings,” Nathan explained.

“It’s a dating show and things can potentially happen. You don’t know whatever way it twists and turns but respecting her was my biggest thing, and the other girls as well,” he continued.

“The way it came out was a bit better than I expected.”

“I think I had all that pressure of lying to her face,” Nathan recalled, noting that there was another opportunity in which he was honest but still got to stay on the show.

At the end of Episode 5, it was revealed that Nicole kept Nathan on the island after he suggested he go undercover as a mole for the leading ladies — telling them what the boys are saying and up to.

Nicole finds out Nathan is gay

“Helping the girls was the biggest thing I could get off the show,” Nathan said. “If they could walk off the show with love that would honestly make me so happy.”

Nathan admitted to Chattr that his backup idea of being the mole was in his “back pocket” ready to go but that he wasn’t aware he’d get found out so early on.

“I’m sure everyone had their own gameplay. You don’t know what to expect on this show so having a backup was a big thing.”

You can catch Nathan in the finale of FBoy Island Australia.

How FBoy Island Australia’s Krystal, Ally and Nicole scored leading roles

While we always see “applications open” ads for our favourite reality TV dating shows, there’s usually a bunch of producers poaching behind the scenes finding cast too — and BINGE reality show FBoy Island Australia is no different.

For FBoy Island Australia Season 2, the show chose Krystal Thomas, Ally Woodfall and Nicole Mitrov as its leading ladies. So did they apply for the show or were they discovered?

The three ladies shared their process of getting on FBoy Island Australia 2024 with Chattr.

Krystal Thomas

Krystal Thomas on FBoy Island Australia Season 2. Image: BINGE.

Krystal was on The Bachelors just last year vying for Felix Van Hofe‘s attention. She made it quite far in the competition and was quickly a fan favourite simply for just being herself.

“I was actually asked to be on the show,” Krystal admitted to Chattr.

“[My] hat was already kind of in that world,” she explained of her previous stint on The Bachelors.

“The team reached out to me,” she added.

Because Krystal was still single when the FBoy Island Australia Season 2 producers reached out, she said it was a case of “why not?”

“Out of all the reality TV dating shows, [FBoy Island Australia] is the one that resonates the most with me.”

Krystal is not the only ex-Bachelor member with contestant Paddy Colliar and host Abbie Chatfield also sharing that badge.

Ally Woodfall

Ally Woodfall on FBoy Island Australia Season 2 cast

Ally’s connection to FBoy Island Australia Season 1 contestant Vernon Lyon was made clear in Episode 1. But did you know that producers actually didn’t know the link until the end of the casting process?

“Me being on the show and me getting on the show had nothing to do with him,” Ally clarified to Chattr.

Ally explained that she was casted through social media and that when her relationship with Vernon came out, producers were excited about the connection to FBoy Island Australia Season 1.

Nicole Mitrov

Nicole Mitrov on FBoy Island Australia Season 2.cast
Nicole Mitrov on FBoy Island Australia Season 2. Image: BINGE.

Nicole was approached to be part of the leading FBoy Island Season 2 cast via social media.

Nicole admitted to Chattr that while she’s been approached by casting agents before, it’s “never been the right time” for her.

She also explained that she didn’t necessarily love the idea of other reality TV shows where it’s about the women going after a man.

“That’s never really been my MO,” she told Chattr.

“When this [opportunity] came through I had just finished a situationship scenario. I was living my best single girl era but at the same time deep down I knew I wanted to find a connection with someone.”

Nicole said that when she had the phone call about FBoy Island, she realised it was something she could “get around”.

She made it clear that just because she was approached and she didn’t apply, the audition process was still “lengthy” for her.

“Just because you get asked to be on a show, doesn’t mean you’ve got it,” she explained to Chattr.

“I still had to do all the tests, all the background checks, the medicals — everything.”

Did the FBoy Island men apply to be on the show?

Nathan Giastis FBOY Island Australia Season 2 2024
Nathan Giastis on FBoy Island Australia Season 2. Image: BINGE

When we spoke to Nicole about how she was cast on the show, she alluded to some of the FBoy Island Australia men also being approached through social media.

There was also a casting booth at the 2023 TikTok awards where Abbie was one of the hosts for the night alongside Tony Armstrong and Kat Clark.

Nathan Giastis, one of the bartenders-turned-intruders, told Chattr that he was approached by producers because of social media too.

“Producers saw a reel, they loved it and [we] just went from there,” Nathan told Chattr.

Nathan has almost 60,000 followers combines across Instagram and TikTok — something that raised concerns for Nicole when Abbie showed her.

FBoy Island Australia streams Mondays on BINGE.

The Block’s Ricky reportedly left his girlfriend for the show’s married make-up artist

The Block 2024’s Ricky Recard reportedly dumped his girlfriend to pursue a relationship with a married makeup artist that he met while filming the show.

Ricky’s ex Lauren Smith told Daily Mail Australia that she spent three months looking after Ricky’s dog and house while he was filming the show, only for him to break up with her shortly after.

“I was absolutely blindsided,” she told the publication.

Lauren said that she and Ricky had a holiday to Mexico booked to celebrate her 30th birthday, but she ended up going alone after he dumped her. While away, Lauren said she discovered that Ricky was dating a make-up artist from The Block.

“We were due to go at the beginning of July for my 30th birthday but we broke up about two weeks after he got back from filming,” she said.

“I found out while I was in Mexico that he had apparently begun a relationship with Erin [The Block make-up artist] during the time I was away.”

Ricky is teamed up with his best mate, Haydn Wise, on The Block 2024.

Ricky hard-launched his relationship with The Block’s make-up artist

In August, Ricky reportedly hard launched his relationship with The Block make-up artist Erin on his private Instagram page.

The Block contestant shared a pic from a holiday the couple took to Port Douglas.

“Beach time with this stunner,” he captioned the photo.

Erin took to her own Instagram account on August 29 to share a photo of herself and Ricky.

“Sometimes the path we never planned leads us to brighter things and the happiness we always needed,” she wrote. “Trust the journey.”

Erin’s ex-husband spoke out about the relationship

Erin’s ex-husband Lucas Day spoke to Daily Mail Australia about the new relationship between his ex-wife and Ricky. He said that the air only started dating after he and Erin had split.

“We are separated now and I’ve dealt with it,” he told the publication.

“They got together after we split when he got back from Mexico in July and we were done then.”

But… didn’t Lauren say that she went to Mexico without Ricky? Food for thought.

The Block airs on Sundays at 7pm and Mon – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Blake Lively’s involvement in The Husband’s Secret adaptation is now uncertain

Australian author Liane Moriarty recently discussed Blake Lively‘s involvement in the TV adaptation of The Husband’s Secret. Following the It Ends With Us controversy and rumours fears for her career, Blake’s role is very much up in the air.

Liane told Kyle and Jackie O that the It Ends With Us actress was once “attached” to the project, however, casting is now uncertain.

“Blake Lively was attached to it, but I don’t know if she’s [now] detached,” Liane told the radio hosts.

What do we know about The Husband’s Secret TV adaptation?

Liane has sold over 20 million books throughout the world. Her books are to thank for TV productions including Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers.

Way back in 2017, Hollywood Reporter stated that Blake would play Cecilia Fitzpatrick (a suburban wife who finds a note from her late husband with instructions to open it if he died) in The Husband’s Secret.

The publication also said that Blake would have the role of Executive Producer.

“Liane Moriarty has established herself as one of the defining voices of the modern woman, and Blake Lively’s unique combination of vulnerability, strength and extraordinary talent makes her the perfect actress to realise Moriarty’s creation,” Terry Press, CBS Films president, said in 2017.

Production for The Husband’s Secret was initially stalled because of COVID and writer’s strikes.

While production has been stalled due to multiple setbacks including COVID-related shutdowns and writers’ strikes, it is said to be starting up again soon.

What is the Blake Lively It Ends With Us drama?

Blake Lively has been under fire for the way she has been seen to be promoting a film about domestic violence. Old interviews of Blake have also been resurfacing, bring her character into question.

She is also at the middle of rumours surrounding a fued between her and It Ends With Us director and actor Justin Baldoni. It is believed to be so bad that an It Starts With Us movie might not happen.

Neither Justin or Blake have spoken publicly on the rumours, however, It Ends With Us costar Brandon Sklenar has publicly defended Blake.

“Just in awe”: Madison Beer pays nail studio’s rent

Ahead of the Australian leg of her The Encore tour, Madison Beer has made a heartwarming gesture for a woman in need.

Hazel Wah, a nail salon owner in Singapore was the lucky recipient of Madison’s generosity after she received an Instagram DM from the singer asking if she had an available appointment.

“Hi!!! I am in Singapore today and my nails are breaking and falling apart i have a show tonight here, is there any way I could get my nails done by you? I do gel x,” Madison’s message to Hazel read.

During the appointment, Madison posted a story to her 49 million followers and tagged the salon. Hazel thanked Madison for the post and explained that it would help her as she was having financial troubles because she was upgrading her salon.

“She was genuinely so kind, so friendly it was such a surreal and amazing experience and from the bottom of my heart, I’ll forever be grateful. We chatted loads and I explained how the Instagram story she posted for us really helped our predicament,” Hazel said on Instagram.

Madison Beer paid a month of the nail salon’s rent

After the appointment, Hazel received a surprising message from Madison.

“Covered your rent for the month. Let me know if you got it. Love you and thank you again for everything,” the screenshotted text from Madison read.

Hazel offered to return the money, which was $3,460 Singaporean dollars (approx $3,908 AUD) but Madison wouldn’t accept.

“I was seriously just in awe that she was even giving me a chance to do her nails i still can’t comprehend the fact that she PAID FOR MY RENTAL!!!” Hazel wrote in an Instagram story.

“She was so, so, so generous. She paid me for the sets she did and helped me out with my rent for the month,” Hazel clarified in another story.

“She didn’t mention anything about it and just got her agency to drop me a paynow before just informing me that she covered my rental for me. I truly used up all the luck I had in me…..”

It’s so refreshing to see a famous person using their money for good without it being an (obvious) PR stunt. The world needs more celebs like Madison!

Madison Beer’s The Encore tour takes place on August 28 in Brisbane, August 30 in Sydney and September 2 in Melbourne.

Suzi,  whose real name is Suellen Jan Taylor, is facing over 20 charges, as per Daily Telegraph. The allegations against her include trafficking the drugs ice, cannabis, MDMA and heroin over a five month period and possessing multiple weapons on the Gold Coast.

She appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday over video link.

The court appearance came just a week after Suzi pleaded guilty to multiple offences including offences including breaching bail, evasion offence at night, driving without a licence as a repeat offender and failing to stop on a red traffic arrow or stop line.

The prosecutors told the court on Tuesday that they were seeking a brief order on all the trafficking charges that Suzi  – whose current occupation is listed as an “escort” according to court documents  – is currently facing.

The matter was adjourned to October 15 for further mention.

When was Suzi on The Block?

Suzi appeared on The Block Season 11, which aired in 2015, alongside her former best friend Voni Cosier.

The women met on the set of the TV series Beastmaster but cut off contact after The Block finished filming.

Suzi and Voni’s The Block house had a reserve set at $1.48 million, and it went for $1.829 million at auction. That meant that they came in second place and took home $349,000 dollars.

Towards the end of each season of The Block, all of the teams are given a reserve price and an auction is held. Contestants keep any money their houses sell for over the reserve, and the pair that sells their house for the highest amount scores an extra $100,000.

The Block airs on Sundays at 7pm and Mon – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

A leaked photo hints that a Home and Away wedding is on the cards

Despite their recent breakup, fans have their fingers and toes crossed that Eden and Cash will still go through with their Home and Away wedding.

There’s also a new glimmer of hope after a crew member leaked a photo of Home and Away filming at what looks to be a wedding location.

Here’s everything we know about the suspected Home and Away wedding.

Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) with Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) at her engagement party. Image: Seven.

What Home and Away wedding photo leaked?

The leaked Home and Away wedding location photo was shared by Greg Stone, head of the Summer Bay Art Department, in July and was posted on a fan group on Facebook.

It shows a blurred-out script on a table at what looks to be a fancy estate — which would be the perfect place for a Home and Away wedding.

Upon a bit of investigation, fans pointed out that the location in the snap looks a lot like the luxury accommodation Milton Park Country House Hotel and Spa.

Is it Cash and Eden’s Home and Away wedding?

There’s no information about who will be getting married at the idyllic location. However, Cash (Nicole Cartwright) will still be around when the Home and Away wedding takes place, as fans have spotted him filming scenes.

Furthermore, Cash’s dad Garry, (Peter Phelps) who returned for Felicity’s funeral, has been seen back on the Home and Away set, prompting fans to assume that he’s come back for Cash’s Home and Away wedding to Eden.

“I haven’t seen anything other than footage of Cash running several times (maybe he’s going to take up marathons). No footage of [the couple] at location filming since May,” one person wrote in the Facebook group.

“I did hear that the Southern Highlands location shoot which will probably air at the end of the year may be a low-key wedding. In saying that, while the location shoot [happened], the purpose [for the location shoot] is [unknown].

“If it was a low-key wedding, [it] could be one of several couples [like] Tane wanting to legitimise [his] child [with Harper].”

Channel 7 has not commented publicly on the Home and Away wedding in question.

Cash and Eden. Image: Seven.

What happened to Cash and Eden?

Cash and Eden got engaged in an early August episode. They were celebrating their engagement party on the beach when tragedy struck.

After the engagement party, Cash’s sister Felicity collapsed from a brain aneurysm. She was put on life support but died days later.

Felicity’s funeral aired on August 22, and during the same episode, Cash broke up with Eden, telling her that everyone close to him dies, and said that he wanted to save her.

Obviously this meant that their Home and Away wedding wasn’t going to go ahead.

So, although Eden and Cash are donzeo for now, we’re all hoping they’ll get back together and tie the knot at this beautiful location.

We love a Home and Away wedding!

Home and Away airs Monday – Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Networks are reportedly in a “battle” to secure breakdancer Raygun for a TV show

Raygun‘s world changed after she competed in breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Olympics. But what’s Raygun’s career looking like now?

Well, it seems like the one and only Rachael Gunn — known around the world as Raygun following her iconic breakdancing routine at the recent Olympics — has plenty of options following her newfound fame.

While rumours were recently swirling that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producers were keen on getting Raygun in the jungle for the 2025 iteration of the show, it now seems like more TV networks are interested in the breakdancer.

Will Raygun go on reality TV?

According to an insider who spoke to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Raygun could secure a TV deal sooner than we might think as “one of the most sought-after names in the business right now”.

“[This] could determine which ‘celebrity’ reality show the notorious breakdancer will appear on, as Channel Nine, Network Ten and Channel Seven battle it out,” the insider revealed.

According to the insider, the networks are keen to sign exclusive deals which could mean that Raygun wouldn’t be able to work with other networks in competitive programming for 1-2 years.

A talent manager mentioned potential shows to Yahoo! including The Summit, The Amazing Race, Dancing With The Stars and SAS Australia.

“If she plays this well? We could be seeing a hell of a lot more than her breakdancing,” they added.

“You have to strike while the iron is hot and at this stage Raygun is a bit of an enigma, and to be fair that is working in her favour.”

Raygun is represented by a talent agency

Raygun now has an email for a talent agency in her Instagram bio, with Born Bred Talent officially confirming to Chattr that they now look after and represent Raygun.

raygun career

Born Bred Talent other big names including Olympian Harry Garside, The Inspired Unemployed, Love Island‘s Mitch Eliot and more.

However, Raygun does not currently appear on the official online Born Bred Talent Roster page at the time of writing this article.

Born Bred Talent’s website says that their roster includes “liked-minded creators, influencer and social celebs”.

What has Raygun been up to since the Olympics?

Raygun has remained relatively quiet since her breakdancing routine featuring a sprinkler and kangaroo-esque moves went viral in August, 2024.

Raygun received zero points for her breakdancing at the Olympics and many people questioned if she was — as us Australians say — taking the piss.

Earlier this month she broke her silence by posting an Instagram Reel which confirmed she took her breakdancing routine seriously.

She also featured in the 2024 Logies festivities, crossing to the audience in a video that encouraged the television industry to bust out some of her moves in celebration of the night.

Lawson Mahoney bites back at the “slander” from Made In Bondi viewers

Made In Bondi hasn’t been on our TV screens for long but it’s already got Australia talking about whether Lawson Mahoney is putting on an accent.

Lawson has done what every reality TV star does and has taken to social media to address the claims and “slander” about his voice.

What did Lawson Mahoney say about his accent on Made In Bondi?

“I wish to address these allegations, address the confusion, address the slander on my name that somehow I’m faking an accent on a television show, Made In Bondi,” Lawson says in the Instagram video.

He goes explain that the way he pronounces “l” is “a little South African” and the way he pronounces “t” is because his grandmother told him that if he wants to be on television, he should learn how to “say them well”.

To be fair, he pronounces them better than me.

“The scenes I was having? I was a little nervous,” he continued.

“I also laugh like a seagull so I apologise to any seagulls who I might offend.”

Fair. I’ve been offending chipmunks with my laugh since I was 11.

“If you’re hating on my voice, you must be watching it, which is good in my books,” he laughed.

Oooft. Not wrong! Not wrong.

Who is Lawson Mahoney?

Lawson is a 22-year-old model represented by Brooklyn Management. He is part of the Made In Bondi cast which started airing in 2024 on Channel 7.

Lawson’s mum is a real estate mogul and his grandparents owned numerous bars and properties.

His relationships with Bella Salerno and Molly Paradice have been at the centre of the drama on Made In Bondi.

You can watch Made In Bondi on 7 or stream on 7Plus.

The Block 2024 house prices have leaked and an ex-contestant is pissed

Viewers may have only seen the first two rooms that The Block 2024 cast has renovated, but the expected sale prices for the finished homes have already leaked.

Domain.com.au has listed price guides for all five houses, and each has an indicative selling price between $1.7 million – $1.85 million.

Considering that the houses on The Block 2023 sold for between three and five million dollars, this year’s expected prices are very low.

The Block 2024 location. Image: Domain.

An ex-The Block contestant is pissed about the low-price guides

Towards the end of the season, each The Block 2024 team will be given a reserve price and an auction will be held.

Contestants keep any money their houses sell for over the reserve, and the pair that sells their house for the highest amount scores an extra $100,000.

Last year’s winners Steph and Gian walked away with a total profit of $1,650,000 – which is the biggest amount a team has ever won.

Steph and Gian
The Block 2024 winners Steph and Gian. Image: Nine.

However, the villains of the season, Kristy and Brett, pocketed just $65,000 for their three-month renovating stint.

A former The Block contestant told Daily Mail Australia that they believe the low-price guides are a set-up for this year’s contestants to “win stupid money”

“These houses are going to sell for $ 3 million and that is a stitch-up for Channel Nine to have a really exciting finale where everyone this year makes big money.,” the unnamed The Block alum said.

“There is not a chance this hasn’t been massaged to suit a narrative that works for the show’s format.”

Meanwhile, another, slightly more diplomatic (but also unnamed) former contestant pondered why the prices were so low.

Adrian Portelli from the block
Adrian Portelli with Omar and Oz. Image: Instagram.

“Maybe these price guides are so low for a reason? It is either to make these houses more appealing to the average buyer or so Adrian Portelli can afford to buy the entire resort for $15 million, that would be my guess,” they speculated.

Adrian, otherwise known as Lambo Guy, famously started a bidding war on Oz and Omar’s house which sold for a whopping $5.586 million on The Block 2022. He later purchased Sharon and Ankur’s after auction for $4.2 million.

Adrian headed to The Block auction again in 2023 and snapped up Steph and Gian, Eliza and Liberty and Kyle and Lesley’s houses for a grand total of more than $12 million.

Here’s hoping Adrian will rock up to The Block auction again this year!

The Block airs on Sundays at 7pm and Mon – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
