MAFS Final Vows spoilers: When is it and what happens?

Spoiler alert!

Gia and Scott at Final Vows

After weeks of messy fights, mixed signals and relationships hanging by a thread, it all comes down to Final Vows on Married at First Sight (MAFS). Will the remaining couples commit to a relationship with their partners outside the experiment, or will they blindside them and torch the relationship with a brutal, breakup in front of the nation?

While last season had seen a few couples make it out of Final Vows together — like Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand and Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels — there were also some dramatic dumping speeches, a la Jacqui Burfoot and Carina Mirable. And, we have a feeling there will be some more to come this season.

Which couples make it to MAFS Final Vows?

At the time of writing, there are six couples remaining in the experiment: Alissa and David, Rachel and Steven, Gia and Scott, Bec and Danny, Filip and Stella and Chris and Sam.

However, Chris and Sam split up during homestays, so its unlikely we’ll see them at Final Vows. Apart from that, we can expect the other five couples, unless any of them decide to leave during the final Commitment Ceremony on March 29, or if they do a last-minute runner during the week.

When does MAFS Final Vows air?

Channel 9 hasn’t released an official air date for MAFS Final Vows just yet. However, we know we have the Final Test week coming in the week commencing on April 1.

So, it’s likely that Final Vows will kick off on Easter Sunday (April 5) or Easter Monday (April 6). Final Vows usually runs over two episodes, and the second is aired the following night. But be sure to check back here, because once the official air date is confirmed, we’ll update our article.

Are there any Final Vows spoilers?

Yes! We’ve managed to get our hands on some juicy Final Vows spoilers, so stop reading now if you don’t want to know what happens.

Apparently, viewers will get their happy ending with Stella and Filip, with an insider telling Chattr that he pops the question at Final Vows!

“Stella gets engaged at the end, at Final Vows, so they’re going to be the golden couple all season, like Rhi and Jeff from last year,” the insider told Chattr.

But it’s not good news for everyone, with David reportedly brutally dumped by Alissa.

“Alissa basically just upped and left, packed her bags, flew back to Adelaide and said, Nah, I’m done. I’m not coming back for the Final Vows ceremony. But of course, she did after the producers begged her, and back to Sydney, she went,” MAFS Funny host Josh Fox said on his podcast.

“And then during their Final Vows ceremony, Alissa went first. She read out her vows, which were apparently quite brutal, and in them she said, how her and David, they have no future outside of the experiment, and this apparently left David so furious and kind of blindsided that he just threw his vows down on the ground, refused to read them and stormed off set, and that was it, done, the end.”

MAFS 2026 airs Sunday – Tuesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
