Why Joel was relieved Juliette wrote ‘Stay’ at the MAFS Commitment Ceremony

Juliette shocked viewers when she wrote ‘Stay’ at the Married at First Sight (MAFS) Commitment Ceremony, just a day after she came for Joel’s jugular at the Dinner Party. But, despite writing leave and being ready to exit the experiment altogether, Joel told Chattr that he felt some relief when he saw Juliette’s decision.

ICYMI, Juliette’s takedown of Joel kicked off with a claim he’d called himself the “star” of MAFS — something she later admitted on Stan’s After The Dinner Party she’d misheard. Throughout the Dinner Party, Juliette continued to roast him in front of the group and even mocked him for sleeping with a teddy bear while questioning his masculinity.

Joel told Chattr that he was devastated when he left the Dinner Party, and spent the following day contemplating his Commitment Ceremony decision. Joel explained that he has struck up some amazing friendships with the rest of the cast, which he didn’t want to walk away from.

“I was in knots. All day, I was in knots. I was feeling sick to my stomach, because on one hand, I was having fun on the show. I know it seems quite crazy to say that, but like, apart from, despite Juliette’s treatment of me, I was having fun in this crazy, you know, world of reality TV, and I didn’t want to leave the show,” he explained.

Why Joel decided to write ‘Leave’

However, Joel explained that once he’d really thought it through, he knew he ultimately couldn’t let Juliette’s bad behaviour slide.

“But on the other hand, if I write ‘Stay’, I lose all credibility forever. What kind of message would that be to send out to people that I’m okay with being abused by Juliette in front of the whole group like that? Like, no, everything I say that I stand for would be false. So I realised that my gut was telling me, it was screaming at me, ‘You cannot, you cannot,'” he said.

“You have to risk what you want. You have to risk the consequences of leaving the show to stay true to yourself. So that was a message, like that was a lesson. That was a lesson I learned to listen that day, always straight, stay true to yourself, no matter what the consequences are. And that’s what I did. I wrote leave, and I risked it all. And she wrote ‘Stay’,” he said.

While Juliette’s decision meant that Joel had to stay with her in a couple for another week, the silver lining for Joel also meant he’d be taking part in the upcoming Couple’s Retreat and be able to spend some more time with his newfound pals.

“Some of the people there are just amazing, and I feel like I’ve made friends for life,” he said.

The MAFS cast spill on whether the weddings are actually legal or just for TV

Every single one of the cast members on Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 has walked down the aisle of their own wedding, but are the marriages actually legal or just commitment ceremonies?

In Australia, couples must lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage at least a month before tying the knot. Since the MAFS experiment runs for around two months, it would technically be possible to legally wed. But, fortunately for doomed couples like Joel and Juliette and Tyson and Stephanie, the MAFS weddings aren’t legal and are simply ceremonies created for the show.

“They are not legal,” Alissa Fay explained in an interview with Chattr. “It’s going in and giving the experiment a good crack. But, there’s nothing legal or binding you two together. It’s just a beautiful wedding — It’s like a real wedding day. It feels like a real wedding day. But no, you’re not signing your life away and your assets away and everything.”

Sam Stanton, who married cowboy Chris Robinson in a mid-season garden wedding as an intruder, said that while the weddings aren’t legal, it mimics the exact concept.

“There is no legality to the wedding. It’s not a legal marriage, but it’s, it’s a real commitment to each other. You’re committing to moving into each other and like giving it a red-hot crack. So, it’s like the concept of marriage,” he told Chattr.

Gia Fleur said that fans are questioning online how she married Scott McCristal, considering he’s reportedly only separated from his ex-wife outside of the experiment.

“Everybody is like ‘Oh, Scott was already married’, but I’m like, we weren’t even legally married ourselves! None of us get legally married. Thank God, honestly or there would be a lot of divorces right now,” she laughed, adding there’s “no document signing, nothing at all.”

One international season of MAFS has legally binding weddings

While the weddings on MAFS Australia aren’t legally recognised, every couple on Season One of the New Zealand version actually tied the knot for real.

Yep, four couples who’d never met before the show got legally married on TV. Of those couples, only one is still together: Angel and Brett.

Since then, MAFS NZ has changed its format and removed the legal marriages, with couples now taking part in simple commitment ceremonies for the show.

MAFS’ Tyson’s ex-wife on why their marriage really ended: ‘Tyson and I are not friends’

The ex-wife of Married at First Sight (MAFS) star Tyson Gordon has spoken out about why their relationship ended, and whether she agrees with his controversial anti-woke views.

Tove Thoreson, who has now remarried and lives in Utah, told Daily Mail Australia that she and Tyson met in 2018 when he was visiting a ski resort in her home state, and the pair began a long-distance relationship.

“Tyson and I met in 2018 when he and his family happened to visit the ski resort in Utah where I was working,” she said.

“What started as a chance meeting turned into a long-distance relationship, and for about a year and a half, we travelled back and forth between Australia and the United States before eventually getting married in Utah.”

The couple tied the knot in 2019, but their marriage was short-lived and they split not long after. However, Tove stressed that their hasty marriage wasn’t an attempt to get an Australian visa.

“I am Mormon and Tyson is not. After we married, I moved to Australia and lived there for about a year. Because of that, claims that we only knew each other or were married for 30 days, or that I was some sort of internet girlfriend trying to obtain Australian citizenship, simply aren’t true.”

Why did Tyson and his ex-wife split up?

In Tyson’s MAFS intro package, he explained that he was married about five years ago, but the couple’s differing views on cleaning had a lot to do with their split.

“I met this girl in Utah, got married, and she came to Australia to live. But, she was a little bit messy around the house, and there’s a few other things you know, plates in the kitchen sink, but basically it couldn’t work out because after a certain period of time, we couldn’t stand to live with each other,” he said.

In the interview, Tove touched on their breakup and revealed that she and Tyson are no longer in contact

“Our relationship ultimately became unhealthy and difficult, which is why it ended,” she said. “The reasons for that are personal and not something I’m willing to discuss publicly.”

“Tyson and I are not friends, and we do not speak, as that period of my life was very difficult and I have no interest in revisiting it publicly.”

Tyson has made it abundantly clear on MAFS that he has traditional values and believes that women should be the family carers while the man is the provider. Tove told the publication that her own values don’t necessarily align with Tyson’s.

“I do not support or agree with the behaviour he has shown on television or what I experienced in real life,” she said.

“We were both young [when we met] — I was only 21. I wasn’t even aware of those terms back then in regard to being ‘trad’. A lot of people may assume, because I am Mormon, that Mormon women are like that, but that’s not the case.

“Yes, we are more traditional, possibly, but with Mormon women today, we are not ‘submissive’ at all,” she added. “I can’t comment on his views, now versus then, as I haven’t spoken to him in six years.”

Tove concluded by saying that despite their difficult history, she holds no ill will towards her ex-husband.

“I do not wish Tyson ill, and I sincerely hope that through everything happening publicly right now, there can ultimately be some light and healing for him”

MAFS’ Alissa slams Juliette’s Dinner Party behaviour: ‘Really disrespectful’

Well well well… another week, another drama-filled Married At First Sight (MAFS) Dinner Party, this time with intruder bride Juliette going scorched earth on her husband, Joel.

From twisting Joel’s words about not seeing the “star” in him, to making fun of him for sleeping with a teddy bear, Juliette came to her second dinner party guns blazing.

And while Joel found an unexpected ally in Danny, who said that it was unfair to call Joel’s masculinity into question over a teddy bear, Alissa reckons she was also pretty thrown by Juliette’s antics.

“She definitely treated Joel really poorly,” Alissa tells Chattr. “I understand that she was feeling embarrassed, and she wanted to come [on MAFS] for something serious,” she began, “but I don’t agree with how she treated him or spoke down to him or swore at him.”

Alissa vouches for Joel

While Alissa tells Chattr she doesn’t like to take sides, she says that the way Juliette spoke to Joel at the Dinner Party was “really disrespectful.”

“I love Joel, he’s just hilarious,” she says. “I do have moments where I sit down and talk to him and just say, ‘Look, you’re just such a light’.” She adds that the night really took a toll on Joel, who by the end of the evening seemed pretty worn out.

“You do see his personality get really deflated after the Dinner Party, and it’s because it was so heavy and it was hurtful.”

She also rejected the idea that Joel is on the show for the wrong reasons. “I don’t believe that,” the 33-year-old says. “We’re all there to find love. You wouldn’t put yourself through the whole audition process and write down the specifics of what you want in a person if you didn’t want to find a new person.”

“The interview process and the process to get on the show was very long and the questions were a lot… it took a long time to fill everything out. I feel like, if you weren’t serious about finding someone, then [you’d be] actually crazy to apply.”

MAFS’ Joel says Danny was the ‘MVP of that Dinner party’ for defending him (and his teddy)

The fourth Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 Dinner Party saw an unsuspecting Joel ripped to shreds by his TV wife, Juliette — partly for the shocking act of sleeping with a teddy bear — before Danny stepped in to defend him.

Juliette’s campaign to tear Joel down started with a false accusation that he claimed he was the “star” of MAFS, something she later admitted she misheard during Stan’s After The Dinner Party. While laying into Joel in front of all of his castmates, Juliette poked fun at Joel for sleeping with a teddy bear, and his masculinity was called into question, which was when Danny stepped in and defended Joel and his adorable teddy bear.

“I don’t think it’s fair to attack someone’s manhood cause he has a teddy,” Danny said. “I think it’s brave to be a 30-year-old man and admit you’ve got a teddy.”

Danny went on to point out that “you could actually argue that he’s more masculine than us because he’s not scared of his masculinity and he has a teddy.”

In a post-Dinner Party interview with Chattr, Joel said he was grateful when Danny jumped in to defend him, revealing that they hadn’t had much to do with each other before then.

“Danny is a G. That man is a proper G. He f**king stands up for his mates. That’s what he does. That’s when our bond started, like we weren’t even that close then. But after that, after that moment, I knew, Danny’s as solid as f**k. I was so happy that someone backed me up, because no one was backing me,” he said.

“Danny was the MVP of that dinner party… [he] delivered when it mattered last night.”

Joel believes Juliette ‘enjoyed’ humiliating him at the MAFS Dinner Party

Watching the dinner party back last night, Joel said he was shocked to see Juliette looking smug in her producer-led interviews about him.

“[The] thing that was even more disturbing was how she seemed to enjoy [coming for me]. It was almost sadistic. She enjoyed enacting cruelty on me, like it was actually scary, to be honest. Genuinely, people spoke to me after, and they said, ‘She frightens me,” he said.

“I think Juliette derived pleasure in inflicting pain on me in front of everyone.”

Joel added that despite Juliette’s attempted apology tour in the press this morning, he believes she’s more sorry about the backlash she’s received than the way she treated him.

“Juliette is not a person who has any capability of feeling remorse or empathy, period,” he said. “I don’t believe a word that comes out of Juliet’s mouth, because every word that comes out of her mouth is empty and hollow and fake and insincere.”

Social Services Minister puts MAFS’ Tyson on blast for ‘misogyny’: ‘Not entertaining’

Social Services Minister Tanya Plibersek took to Instagram yesterday to take Married At First Sight (MAFS) to task for giving misogyny a platform — specifically in the form of 30-year-old Tyson Gordon, who has repeatedly said he wants a “submissive” wife.

The video opens with a shot of the politician viewing footage of Tyson on MAFS: After The Dinner Party, in which host Laura Byrne puts to Tyson, “If you want someone who is obedient, yes, it’s controlling. And you want a dog.” In response, Tyson says, “OK, well, there you go. Maybe that’s what I want.”

Speaking to the camera after watching the footage, the Minister states, “Seriously, this guy. This is exactly the kind of controlling behaviour that we’re trying to combat when we talk about getting rid of coercive control.”

“The fact this is being mainstreamed on a really popular show is really disappointing,” she continues, adding, “I really think the makers of this show need to think twice before platforming this sort of misogyny.”

In an Instagram caption, Tanya Plibersek writes: “When men who idolise ‘submissive’ and ‘obedient’ women are normalised on prime-time TV, it means coercive control is given a national platform.”

“That’s not entertaining, it’s incredibly dangerous. This is the exact kind of cultural messaging we’re trying to change. Messaging which encourages control and dehumanises women, which is supercharged by algorithms peddling misogyny for profit.”

MAFS producers argue that Tyson is challenged on his sexism

Per The Guardian, producers have argued they’re not platforming misogyny because Tyson’s views are called out and challenged on the show.

Fellow MAFS contestant Filip Gregov has also espoused views on YouTube that align with Red Pill ideology, from repeatedly referring to women as “females”, implying that women are deceptive, and stating they are “there for the taking.”

On 28 April 2024, the PM declared that Australia faced a national crisis of violence against women.

MAFS’ Joel shuts down Stella pregnancy rumours after baby bump photo goes viral

A photo of Married at First Sight’s (MAFS) Stella and Filip picking up chicken for dinner has gone viral after fans spotted what appears to be a baby bump, and Joel has now revealed whether the couple are actually expecting.

Sydney takeaway spot Camy’s Chargrill Chicken posted a carousel of photos of the cast grabbing a bite to eat on TikTok and Instagram. On Instagram, the photo was cropped at Stella’s waist, while the TikTok version was slightly longer, revealing what fans believed to be a baby bump. Unsurprisingly, the comments section quickly lit up with viewers speculating that Stella might be pregnant.

“Is it just me, or is there anyone else who notices Stella’s tummy. Is she pregnant?” one wrote. Another penned: “WAIT A DAMN SECOND STELLA IS PREGNANT”. A third speculated, “Someone’s having a baby”, and a fourth said, “Not really up to you to give away someone’s pregnancy”.

However, Joel shut down the speculation in an interview with Chattr, saying it’s “not true”.

“That that photo was taken during filming, and she would have a huge bump right now, [if she was]” he said.

Indeed, since the show was filmed between July and November, if Stella was heavily pregnant during filming, she’d be almost at term by now!

When we pointed out that we ran the photo through an AI detector that concluded that it was 54% fake, Joel scoffed. “More like 100% fake, AI needs some maintenance,” he said.

Chattr reached out to Camy’s Chargrill Chicken for comment.

Stella speculates what her and Filip’s future kids will look like

While Stella may not be pregnant with a MAFS baby just yet, she told Chattr in a recent interview that she and Filip have talked about what they think their kids would look like.

“We actually ran a ChatGPT simulation,” she said (which is ironic, considering).

“They would get pretty bloody good genes. Filip is tall, dark and handsome, and I’m petite, and you know, strong, little lady. So, I think the kids would have quite good genes, in that sense.”

“I was just saying I would love to have a blue-eyed baby, but I think Philips has dark eyes and dark eye genes are quite strong, so I don’t know if that’s gonna work in my favour.”

Hopefully, when that time comes, it’ll be Stella and Filip announcing the news — not a chicken shop.

Are the MAFS Dinner Parties scripted and how much influence do the producers have?

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 is in full swing, with the Dinner Parties being as explosive as ever. Most recently, Bec Zacharia had an absolute meltdown, taking shots at anybody who so much as looked her way. Before that, we saw Brook Crompton fire out insults at Alissa Fay and Stella Mickunaite.

However, some fans have long wondered if MAFS Dinner Parties are scripted or filmed in a way to exploit the drama. An insider tells Chattr the producers have a lot of influence while the MAFS participants sit around the table, as they’re required to get juicy storylines.

“They film up to six hours for each Dinner Party, and if nothing happens, producers go in and talk to the MAFS stars. They say things like, ‘You guys are not leaving until you start some drama’. That’s what they say constantly,” the insider claims.

“They would pull certain contestants into a separate room where the executive producers were watching. They would then tell them, ‘If you don’t start a fight with this other participant tonight, we’re not going to give you your phone back.’

“A lot of MAFS brides and grooms just did what was required so they could go back to the hotel. It was pretty bad this year, to be honest.”

Is anything else ‘orchestrated’ on MAFS?

While the show is unscripted, reality TV producers are trained to find the story in any situation. A former reality TV producer tells Chattr they are told to “find contestants’ wounds” or their most vulnerable parts, and then “pick at it” until there’s something worth filming.

Another MAFS production insider claims some storylines are “orchestrated”, with producers telling participants to act a specific way.

“The cast members are encouraged to play up for the camera, and producers tell them to do certain things. When the MAFS cast have been filming for long hours, sometimes they just give in and do what the producers want.”

Chattr has also heard whispers about some MAFS brides who got along behind the scenes but weren’t allowed to mingle in front of the camera. Sounds intriguing!

Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 airs Monday – Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Where is Australian Survivor 2026: Redemption filmed?

The torches have been lit, and Australian Survivor is back on our screens. But, the one question that seems to be on everyone’s lips is, “Where is Australian Survivor: Redemption filmed?

Over the years Australian Survivor has been filmed in some idyllic locations, and judging by the scenery thats played out so far on Redemption, this season is no different.

So, if you’re wondering here Australian Survivor 2026 is filmed, read on to find out everything we know.

Where exactly was this year’s Survivor filmed?

This year, Survivor: Redemption has set up camp in the breathtaking landscapes of Samoa, where 20 “newcomers” are joining forces — and clashing — with 4 returning castaways over 45 gruelling days.

As we know, Samoa is made up of two main islands, Upolu and Savai’i, which makes it tricky to pinpoint the exact stretch of sand where this season was filmed. With sweeping beaches, harsh jungle and dramatic coastlines as the backdrop, viewers will just have to keep watching closely to guess which corner of Samoa is playing host to all the blindsides and betrayals.

Where have the past Australian Survivor seasons been filmed?

Over the years, Australian Survivor has been filmed in a variety of breathtaking locations. The first season, released in 2002, was filmed in Whaler’s Way, in the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. In 2006, the show returned for a celebrity edition filmed on Efate, an Island in the Shefa Province of Vanuatu.

MAFS insider reveals what Gia is really like behind the scenes

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 contestant Gia Fleur is a little hard to read. She’s lashed out at other brides, quit the experiment for less than 24 hours, and has one of the biggest personalities. However, an insider close to the bride says we’re not seeing the softer parts of Gia.

The single mum was previously a nurse before having her daughter, and then moved into aged care and NDIS support work. “She works with people with disability, including home care, which means she’s a very caring and empathetic person,” the source claims. “She works part-time now, but you really need compassion to work in these sorts of professions.”

The 35-year-old was also previously married for 10 years, and knows exactly what she’s looking for. She didn’t go on MAFS for fame; she wanted to find a father figure for her daughter.

“She decided to join the experiment to find a stepdad for her daughter. As the only parent on the show, Gia is possibly the most genuine contestant there, because she found it tricky to open herself up again to the possibility of love,” the insider adds. “People probably think that she’s so much drama and call her a bitch or whatever, but there will be redemption coming up.”

According to our source, there will be a storyline involving Gia, which will allow viewers to understand the decisions behind her earlier actions.

“There’s a lot of things that were orchestrated this year, including feuds. Gia actually got on well with lots of the other brides, but they weren’t allowed to hang out on camera,” they claim. “Halfway through, she’ll have a moment where people understand why she’s made certain choices, and public opinion will turn a little bit.”

Are Gia and Scott still together today?

Another insider previously told Chattr that while Gia and Scott McCristal make it to Final Vows, the bride is left heartbroken.

“She was led on. People will see that, it’s very obvious,” the source said. “Scott only talks to one person from the show now, and at the last Dinner Party, he says he was too good for everyone and that they’re beneath him.”

The source also claimed that Scott declared Gia was “not of his calibre”, which sounds messy and unforgivable.

Yikes, this is going to be one hell of a ride.

MAFS insider reveals Gia’s shock OnlyFans plans: ‘Her mind has changed’

With Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 almost halfway through, the participants are already starting to think about their post-show careers, and an insider has revealed whether OnlyFans could be on the cards for Gia.

Multiple former MAFS contestants have cashed in on OnlyFans, with some — like Olivia Frazer and Jessika Power — raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars each month at their prime. So, could Gia be the next name added to the growing list of MAFS stars turned OnlyFans creators?

“Early on in the MAFS experiment, Gia had her heart set on starting an OnlyFans account. However, her mind has changed and she is no longer planning on launching one, although the jury is still out,” the insider spills.

Gia regrets remark about Scott’s ex’s OnlyFans account, and supports sex workers

During the friends and family visit, Gia made a negative remark about Scott’s ex having an OnlyFans account. After Scott’s friend Matthew blindsided Gia by asking Scott if she was a “better version” of his ex, she launched a fiery tirade in response.

“If you want to be controversial, I’ll give it back, because that’s what I’m like,” Gia began. “I don’t think you can compare because I would never start an OnlyFans and put that out there for eight dollars, so there’s the comparison there. I feel like I’m a wife.”

But despite Gia’s OnlyFans jab, the insider claims that Gia made the remark out of frustration and that it doesn’t truly reflect her views.

“A source close to the bride claims Gia made the comments about Scott’s ex-wife’s OnlyFans account, because she believed he was anti-OnlyFans and wanted to impress him. These views actually aren’t held by her, and this storyline has been blown out of proportion.”

Instead, the disability worker hopes to lend her voice to uplift and champion sex workers’ voices. “She wants to show support to people in the industry,” the insider adds. “She’s sex positive and wants to bring people up rather than drag them down.”

MAFS’ Alissa thinks Juliette was ’embarrassed’ by Joel’s dildo video: ‘Taking the piss’

By now, we’re all well acquainted with the infamous Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 dildo video. Yep, the one where Joel Moses plays some sick beats with dildos instead of drumsticks to ‘Stacy’s Mom’. His bride, Juliette Chae Fava, said the video pushed her “over the edge”, and it officially gave her the ick.

While most of the cast members supported Joel and thought the YouTube video was a bit of a laugh, Alissa Fay believes she knows why Juliette was so offended by the comedic video. “I think she was just embarrassed, to be honest. I think she was embarrassed because she’s coming [on MAFS] and she’s like, why have you matched me with someone that’s taking the piss?” Alissa tells Chattr.

“[I think] she wanted to come in for something serious, and she felt like she couldn’t take [Joel] seriously.”

Alissa says she adores Joel, and compared him to a famous Hollywood comedian. “[The video is] pretty hilarious. If I was to describe who Joel would be, in my eyes, he’s like the Australian version of Jim Carrey. He’s the funniest guy,” she adds.

“I was like, what the hell, that [dildo video is] pretty funny. But yeah, I guess some people are gonna have their views and think that that’s just not okay, [but to me] it feels harmless. It’s just funny. Gosh, can someone not have a joke and just have a good time?”

The bride thinks it has been blown out of proportion, and if David had done a similar thing, she would have understood. “I feel like David… he would never do that. But, if David had a personality like Joel, I would understand why, because that’s just the funny side that Joel has,” Alissa says.

Is Joel on MAFS for the right reasons?

If Juliette is annoyed at Joel for potentially wasting her time, could it mean that Joel is only on MAFS for fame? Alissa doesn’t think so.

The influencer claims everybody on MAFS 2026 is there for love, due to the extensive application and audition process. We’re not convinced, but she makes a fair few points.

“We’re there to find love. You wouldn’t put yourself through the whole audition process and write down the specifics in what you want in a person if you didn’t want to find your person,” Alissa says.

“Because the interview process and the process to get on the show was very long and the questions were a lot, like it took a lot of time to fill out everything. I feel like if you weren’t serious, then, you’d be bats**t crazy.”

Alissa says she went in with an expectation of love, so she believes Joel’s intentions were also genuine.

We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out!

MAFS’ Brook lists wedding dress for sale after quitting the show

If you’re looking for a cheap wedding dress filled with, well, interesting memories… Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 bride Brook Crompton has just the one for you. The reality TV star, who was paired with fat-shaming groom Chris Nield, listed her designer Rachel Gilbert Violet Mini Dress on Facebook Marketplace back in October.

It’s selling for $700, a bargain from the original price of $1490. The only problem is you’ll probably think of their trainwreck of a ‘marriage’ every time you look at it.

“Rachel Gilbert Violet Mini Dress, worn once,” the listing reads. “Size 1 however I did get it brought up slightly and in at the back so more a size 0. I’m 5’9” and length is shown in mirror selfie. Condition is good, and dry cleaned.”

Brook included a photo of herself wearing it, but it appears that wasn’t enough to entice buyers, as it’s still available now.

Surprisingly, it’s not the most expensive item she has for sale. If you’re feeling bougie, she has a Bottega Veneta Green Chain Cassette Shoulder Bag selling for a cool $7,000.

When is Brook Crompton’s baby due?

Brook Crompton is now engaged to her former ex Harry, and the couple are expecting a baby together. The couple rekindled their relationship after she left MAFS. However, there has been plenty of speculation that she fell pregnant while filming was taking place.

During an interview on the Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki podcast, Brook confirmed the pair are expecting their bundle of joy in July.

Seeing as she’s approximately five months along, it means she didn’t cheat on Chris. Brook finished filming in July, and would have fallen pregnant around October.

“[We weren’t] planning to be pregnant this early on, but I think things kind of just fell into place. And I mean, one plus one equals two, right?” Brook joked. “I am due in July.”

MAFS’ Stephanie reveals why she and Tyson are big fans of Donald Trump

Married At First Sight (MAFS) couple Stephanie Marshall and Tyson Gordon have gotten off to a rocky start, but the experts clearly matched them for a reason: not least because they’re both huge fans of US President Donald Trump.

In fact, Tyson is such a fan of President Trump that he considers one of his red flags to be “a woman that hates Donald Trump,” saying during a Zoom call with John Aiken, “I personally love Donald Trump, I think he’s doing a great job.”

Stephanie explains Donald Trump’s appeal

In her opening package, Stephanie also shares her two cents on the 79-year-old leader. “As much as people hate him, it’s taken someone like Trump to come in and be like, ‘we’re putting a stop to this s**t!'” It’s unclear what Stephanie is suggesting that Trump has put a stop to, though she seems to have a dislike for people saying things like, “I’m a feminist” and “I’m a vegan”, so maybe… that?

In an interview with Chattr, Stephanie describes Donald Trump as a “bold character that stands up for his beliefs,” adding, “In some ways, I too, respect that.” She adds that she and Tyson share similar views: she admires how Trump’s “gotten in there and is making things happen,” and that “as the leader of that country, people want to see that he’s making or taking action.”

At times, though, Stephanie is vague, stating, “you know, that doesn’t mean that it’s the right thing to do,” while not referencing any action in particular, and concluding, “I don’t live [in the US] so I don’t really have that much of a strong opinion.”

Stephanie says Tyson is a ‘Ride or Die’ for Trump

Stephanie’s support for Trump appears to be a bit less unwavering than Tyson’s, with the real estate agent stating that she “doesn’t agree with everything that Trump does”.

Stephanie says, however, that when it comes to Tyson, he’s very much a “Ride or Die” for the US President. That being said, it is often hard to know where Stephanie stands. In one episode, she memorably said, “[Tyson and I] absolutely have very similar opinions, but I’m a lot smarter with how I word things.” Make of that what you will.

Couples therapist weighs in on whether MAFS’ Scott should delete his ex’s photos: ‘Betrayal’

Married at First Sight’s (MAFS) Gia and Scott‘s relationship appears to have fallen apart after she discovered old photos of Scott’s ex on his phone, which he refused to delete. Now, a relationship expert has weighed in on whether it’s ever appropriate to keep old photos of an ex.

Gottman-trained couples therapist Michelle Janssen told Chattr that the old photos themselves were less of a red flag than the way Gia and Scott have handled the situation.

“What matters far more than the photo itself is how a couple navigates the conversation when it comes up, because it will come up. One person might scroll past an old photo without a second thought. The other might feel a sting of discomfort, disappointment, or even betrayal. Neither reaction is wrong. What we often forget is that we bring different assumptions into relationships about what is okay and what isn’t and we rarely spell those out until something like this surfaces,” she told Chattr.

However, an insider told Chattr that the photos Scott kept of his ex were explicit, and claimed there were multiple photos of her naked and dressed in lingerie. Michelle added that when the photos are sexual in nature, it can feel like a betrayal for the partner who discovers them.

“Basically, I would be questioning why someone feels the need to keep lingerie photos of an ex. What is the purpose? I think an honest exploration into that would be helpful and potentially illuminating. It would feel like a betrayal for the current partner, and I think unless both parties are comfortable with them on the phone, then it’s a reasonable request to ask them to be deleted.”

How a relationship expert thinks MAFS’ Gia and Scott should handle the photo drama

Michelle told Chattr that while there’s “no universal right or wrong answer” when it comes to deleting photos of an ex, it’s important for the person holding onto them to reflect on why they feel the need to keep them.

“I would also encourage the person who wants to keep the photo to understand why and what it represents for them,” she said.

“Is it nostalgia for a place or a time in your life? Or is there something unresolved? Being honest with yourself first makes the conversation with your partner far more productive. This is also a natural opening to a broader conversation about what you each think is okay when it comes to contact with exes, what your boundaries are and what you each need to feel secure. Couples often avoid these conversations until something forces them into it. Having them proactively is one of the hallmarks of a genuinely connected relationship.”

She added that while “asking for the photo to be deleted is ok”, the way the issue is approached is just as important.

“Stay away from blame, criticism, and defensiveness. Instead of leading with what your partner did wrong, lead with what you felt. There is a significant difference between “why do you still have that?” and “I noticed that photo and it brought up some feelings I wasn’t expecting, can we talk about it?” From there, really listen. Not to formulate your response, but to understand what is true for the other person.”

As for whether Gia and Scott will take that advice? We’re not holding our breath.

MAFS insider spills on X-rated photos of Scott’s ex and claims they sent ‘flirty texts’ during filming

Gia and Scott have gone from one of Married at First Sight’s (MAFS) strongest couples to completely unravelling after she found old photos of his ex on his phone, and an insider claims there’s more to the pics than was shown on TV.

During the episode that aired on March 2, viewers see Gia storm out and threaten to leave the experiment after discovering the pictures, and Scott describes the photo in a producer-led interview as a “memory photo of myself and my ex.”

However, the insider has revealed that the pics were particularly explicit, and said there was a collection of them on Scott’s phone.

“He had like 20 to 30 photos of her naked or in lingerie, and him in the photos with lingerie looking like OnlyFans content together, and despite Gia giving him a chance to delete them, he refused to,” they claimed.

“The photos were very provocative and explicit. They weren’t just normal photos on a holiday or something. It was really raunchy photos,” they added.

The insider said that the timing of the photos was particularly bad because Scott had just met Gia’s daughter for the first time that day.

MAFS insider claims Scott was in contact with his ex through the experiment

The insider also claimed that Scott was in contact with the same ex that he’d kept the x-rated photos of, while he was filming the show.

“Gia discovered that Scott was sending flirty texts to his ex around the same time, and the messages dated all the way back to their honeymoon, where he was telling her about the wedding, which really upset Gia,” the source claimed.

“There were multiple flirty texts exchanged during the ceremony with back and forths about missing each other. Plus, she had a pink love heart saved next to her contact name, so it was pretty obvious there were some lingering feelings there,” they added.

Ooft. Could this be the beginning of the end for Gia and Scott?

MAFS fans defend Joel’s dildo video: ‘We used to be a country that could laugh at ourselves’

They’re one of the newer Married at First Sight (MAFS) Australia couples, but Juliette and Joel are already in dire straits.

In last night’s episode, Juliette shared with Joel that she’d seen a video of him “playing the drums with dildos” and found it weird, stating, “I just don’t think that’s a classy act to be posting on YouTube.” Juliette then said to a producer that the video pushed her “over the edge”, adding that it was “so theatrical and performative.”

But after seeing the offending YouTube video, MAFS fans are rallying around Joel, who uses dildos to drum along to the Fountains of Wayne track ‘Stacy’s Mom’.

MAFS Fans defend Joel using dildos as drumsticks

“He’s not my type, but I’m confused as to how that gave her the ick. It’s hilarious,” said one fan in a comment that boasts over 1000 likes. “Juliette needs to get a grip,” offered another. And perhaps most soberingly, “We used to be a country that could laugh at ourselves”.

Not everyone, though, was a fan. On Reddit, one comment reads: “OK, the video is SO cringe, but why is she acting like he committed the worst crime on earth? That’s straight-up mean.” Another commenter writes, “I’d be upset if I got matched with Joel, not gonna lie. But I wouldn’t be a straight-up nasty bitch to him, it’s just cruel, and there’s no need for it.”

One rogue commenter reckons Juliette’s reaction suggests something happened off-camera that the producers aren’t letting us see. “This isn’t an ick. Something big happened between them, and it’s angered her so much that she isn’t bothering to play nice on camera. If it were an ick, she would play nice on camera. It’s what people do. Something huge happened. She hates him.”

So, there’s a lot to consider. But perhaps the real question is, where on earth did Joel get all of those dildos?

MAFS’ Gia responds after Scott’s friend accuses her of ‘sex-shaming’ over OnlyFans comment

Married At First Sight’s (MAFS) friends and family visit descended into chaos after Gia clashed with Scott’s best friend, Paige, who has since called her out for “sex-shaming women” over a remark about Scott’s ex.

Paige and her partner Matthew joined Scott, Gia, her best friend and her mum for an intimate lunch and bombarded Gia with tough questions. At one point, Matthew asked Scott if Gia was a “better version” of his ex. Gia was taken aback by the question and launched a fiery tirade in response, during which she took aim at Scott’s ex.

“If you want to be controversial, I’ll give it back, because that’s what I’m like,” Gia began. “I don’t think you can compare because I would never start an OnlyFans and put that out there for eight dollars, so there’s the comparison there. I feel like I’m a wife.”

However, all may not be as it seems, with Gia claiming in the comments section of our reel that she discovered Scott was in contact with his ex shortly before the scene was filmed.

“This also comes after me finding out he was still talking to her!” she wrote.

Scott’s friend Paige slams Gia’s comment about OnlyFans

Following the episode, Scott’s friend Paige took to Instagram to call Gia out over the comment.

“It’s not very girls-girl to write off girls that do OnlyFans is it?” Paige said in one story, before following it up with another. “I just don’t really think we should be sex shaming women anymore, I mean, it’s 2026, right?”

Paige and her partner, Matthew, also shared videos of their segment on MAFS while making sarcastic comments about Gia in the background, fuelling speculation that she and Scott are no longer on good terms.

In another video Paige shared while watching the segment, she can be heard responding, “So OnlyFans girls can’t be wives?”

Did Scott’s besties just spoil the storyline and reveal that Scott and Gia aren’t together anymore? Well, considering that later in the episode, Gia stormed out after a fight with Scott, things certainly aren’t looking good for the couple.

MAFS Insider drops bombshell spoiler about Stella and Filip’s relationship post-show

Fiery Lithuanian Stella Mickunaite joined Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 in the hope of finding love, and she was paired with Croatian-born Filip Gregov.

In their first episode, both Stella and Filip stated that they were looking for a traditional relationship, one where the man earns the money and takes on the provider role, and the woman is the mother and caregiver.

So, on that level, Stella and Filip match, but will their broader values and personalities be compatible enough for the couple to last outside of the experiment? Read on to find out everything you need to know about whether MAFS‘ Stella and Filip are still together in real life.

Are MAFS’ Stella and Filip still together in real life?

It certainly sounds like it! At this point, Stella and Filip are undoubtedly one of the strongest couples in the experiment, even exchanging the word ‘I love you’ in their second week.

And, according to an Insider, Stella and Filip were a strong couple throughout the entire experiment, and he got down on one knee at the end of the season and proposed to his TV wife.

“Stella gets engaged at the end, at Final Vows, so they’re going to be the golden couple all season, like Rhi and Jeff from last year,” the insider told Chattr.

On top of that, a TikTok user spotted the couple out on a walk hand in hand in Sydney’s South.

“Guys, it’s Stella and her husband from MAFS, they’re still together, they’re at Cronulla, having a little walky-walk. I can’t think of his name, but slay,” they wrote, and one person responded in the comments section claiming that the couple recently had an engagement party

“They are engaged in real life now and just had their engagement party,” the user wrote.

In an interview with New Idea, Stella and Filip were unable to confirm the current status of their relationship; however, they both gushed about how they feel about each other, hinting that their still together.

“I got my soulmate,” Stella told the publication. “You could see big feelings were there from the start.”

Filip also praised his TV wife, saying that the two hit it off straight away.

“Stella is one of the purest, most authentic people I’ve ever met,” he said. “From the moment we met, the physical, mental and spiritual attraction was there, big time.”

Stella added that during the experiment, she and Filip would wake up at 4:30am to squeeze in some extra time together before the cameras started rolling.

“We’d spend a few hours chatting in bed and hanging out before filming started,” she explains. “It was a special time for us.”

What was Stella looking for in a husband?

Stella moved to Australia from Lithuania when she was young, and admitted it wasn’t an easy transition being in a new country with a new language.

She believes her heritage plays a part in the passionate type of relationships she looks for, saying she doesn’t believe a one really begins until fire and passion bubble to the surface. She added that while she’s really emotional and sensitive in relationships, it sometimes comes across as harsh or blunt because of the cultural differences in Australia.

She was hoping to find a man who can handle that and who will lead and make the decisions for her. She also wanted someone who’ll integrate her into his family and look to have children in the very near future.

What was Filip looking for in a wife?

Filip moved to Australia with his family when he was two, and is extremely close to them. He was hoping to create a family of his own with similar morals and values.

While Filip admits that he can be really picky when it comes to women, he was hopeful that the experts could manage to match him with the perfect woman on MAFS.

Meet Australian Survivor’s Lottie Rae, whose artwork landed her a custom Levi’s collab

Australian Survivor is back for 2026, and the cast wouldn’t be complete without self-taught Aussie Artist, Lottie Rae. She may be from Trangie, a small country town in NSW, but that won’t stop Lottie from going big with her country girl charm.

Keep on reading to see what else we know about Survivor’s Lottie Rae.

Who is Lottie Rae and what does she do?

Lottie is a 32-year-old artist originally from Trangie, NSW, married to a farmer and is a loving mother of two young boys. After attending a renowned boarding school in Sydney, where she actually failed art, she has become very confident and is willing to take on any situation and give it her all.

According to her Channel 10 bio, she is living the dream as a self-taught artist, painting nostalgic Aussie art, from pub scenes to rodeos and cowboys. She even sold a piece to international supermodel Gigi Hadid.

Lottie also appeared on ABC’s Portrait Artist of the Year and considered herself a wildcard, as portraiture isn’t her usual style. She went head-to-head with seasoned professionals and wowed judges with her portrait of celebrated Australian artist Ken Done.

Lottie Rae is no stranger to the spotlight

Big things have already come for this country girl, and with being a part of this season’s Survivor, bigger things are already on the horizon. Signed to 22Management (same agency as Alex Perry and Jennifer Hawkins btw), Lottie is no stranger to the spotlight, having painted murals for one of Australia’s most iconic brands, Levi’s Australia, and even having her own “Trucker Jacket” edition with them, called “Lottie and Levi’s“, which are custom-painted jackets by her.

Things are only going to get bigger and better for this small country town, self-taught artist!

What is Lottie Rae’s game plan for Survivor?

Lottie Rae says she has her feet firmly planted in two worlds and believes this will help her throughout her journey on Survivor, with an ace up her sleeve ready when she needs it. She also describes herself as down-to-earth and admits she’s secretly competitive, and that she’ll rely heavily on her social game, as fitness and endurance aren’t her strong suits.

Confident in her ability to connect with all types of people, Lottie says she can adapt to any crowd.

“I have danced dirty at the pub with the wildest of people. I have been to the city and done the hoity-toity. I will literally be able to talk to anyone. I can win the room at a gallery or at a rodeo. I can flex both worlds, and I’m going to.”

Australian Survivor airs Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
