Who’s tipped to win MasterChef 2024?

MasterChef Australia is in its sixteenth season and while there are a number of contestants bringing the heat, betting odds indicate that the winner has already leaked.

There’s one front clear runner and her name may not come as too much of a surprise to viewers.

Nat Thaipun, who won the Immunity Pin in the first challenge of the season, is tipped to take out the entire competition.

At the time of writing, Nat has odds of $1.50, the lowest return of any contestants, meaning that the most amount of money has been bet on her to win.

Technically, betting odds cannot be tied to information about the show, however, in the past they’ve given a good indication of who will win.

“Ready to burn it all down”: Twitter users are rioting over Sav’s elimination on MasterChef

MasterChef Australia front-runner Sav Perera was eliminated from the competition after failing to recreate Darren Purchese’s Cherry Blossom dessert, and fans on Twitter weren’t happy about it.

Throughout the competition, Sav has repeatedly impressed the judges with her flavoursome creations, but all it took was a less-than-stellar performance at the Elimination to see her gone from the show.

However, fortunately for Sav (and her legion of fans on social media), she was sent home right before the Redemption Cook, which will see one of the eliminated cooks rejoin the competition.

Regardless, fans are still super annoyed that she was sent packing, and vented their frustration on Twitter.

Eat a d**k: How to watch the Vanderpump Rules season 11 Reunion Part Three in Australia

James Kennedy and his savage insults are back in part three of The Vanderpump Rules Reunion, and if you’re in Australia you can watch it at the same time as the US.

Yup, all of the gang’s dramas will come to a head in the explosive final instalment for season 11.

If you’re hoping to catch the drama as soon as it’s released, here’s how you can tune in in Australia.

Vanderpump Rules reunion part three airs on May 29.

How can you watch it in Australia?

The Vanderpump Rules season 11 three-part reunion episodes will be available to stream only on Hayu on the following dates:

  • Part 1 on May 15
  • Part 2 on May 22
  • Part 3 on May 29

Who’s in the Reunion?

Host Andy Cohen is joined by Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Brock Davies

What happened in the Vanderpump Rules Reunion Part One and Two?

The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion has been overflowing with drama.

Episode one saw Scheana and Lala express their frustrations with Ariana’s boundaries, but she still refused to play along with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s redemption arc.

The real fireworks, however, started when Andy Cohen brought up the living arrangements between Ariana and Tom, who are now living separately.

Ariana revealed she’s spending most of her time in NYC and renting an Airbnb when in LA.

In episode two, the drama continued to escalate.

Lala stirred the pot in an attempt to create issues between Ariana and Katie, leading to a heated argument between the frenemies.

Lala accused Katie of not being “100 per cent authentic” on camera, which Katie strongly denied, saying she wouldn’t be told what to think or feel.

The reunion also saw Scheana revealing that Sandoval made a move on her while he was still with Kristen Doute, and Lala accused Schwartz of gaslighting Jo Wenberg during their situation-ship.

Oh, James also took down Sandoval with a delightfully scathing rant, before telling the wannabe rockstar to “eat a d***k”, to which Sandoval replied, “No, you eat a d**k, dude!”

Whew! If this is just what we’ve seen so far, the third and final VPR Reunion episode will undoubtedly be a doozy!

FWAW 2024’s Karli Hinkley has found love with another farmer

Farmer Wants a Wife season 14 resident ‘villain’ Karli Hinkley has surprised fans by debuting her new off-screen relationship with another farmer.

In case you missed it, Karli’s time on the FWAW was tumultuous. Farmer Bert famously departed the dating series early after telling his three remaining Ladies, Karli, Caitlin, and Brooke, that he had decided to leave the show solo.

Karli Hinkley’s Journey From Drama to Romance

Despite Karli’s failed romance with the pineapple farmer, she’s now found love with her new beau Mitchell Gorman – who just so happens to work in the potato industry.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (May 25), the 32-year-old hard-launched her new relationship with a slew of snaps alongside Mitch, whom she described as the “love of my life”.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mitch is a “Senior Agronomist with a demonstrated history of working in the potato industry.” Looks like girly’s got a type!

Fans and Friends React to Karli’s New Relationship

The announcement was met with an outpouring of support from friends, fellow contestants, and fans.

Comments like “So happy for you Karli!! ❤️” and “You find another farmer👌❤️❤️❤️” flooded her social media, while the more salty fans questioned her moving on from Farmer Bert so quickly post-show.

“Wait. What? Weren’t you publicly declaring your love for a pineapple dude a minute ago?” one commenter sniped, while another added, “That didn’t take long after you were so in love with Bert 🤔”

Haters gonna hate, it seems!

Why Did Farmer Bert Leave FWAW?

Despite many believing Karli had it in the bag to win Farmer Bert’s heart this season, she and her fellow Ladies were left shocked when he revealed he would be exiting the show prematurely.

“Coming into this experience, I was looking for someone to share my life with,” Bert said in the episode.

“I think all the girls are wonderful, but I don’t have what it takes to be in a relationship right now. I just don’t have the emotional time to be the person that people are deserving of. That’s the reality of it.”

MAFS’ Ridge has officially moved to the Gold Coast to be with Jade

Golden couple Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo are still going strong, and the Married At First Sight groom has shared an update about when he’s moving to the Gold Coast.

Through the 2024 season of MAFS, Ridge reiterated that he was willing to move from his home of Sydney to the Gold Coast, where Jade and her daughter Victoria live.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at Australian Fashion Week, Ridge revealed the exact date he’s moving to Queensland.

“Your man’s moving up the Gold Coast. I’ll see you on the 28th on the Goldie,” he said.

Jade added: “I am looking forward to Ridge moving in, yes.”

When asked if Jade had room for Ridge at her house when he moves up to the GC, she confirmed she did have “space for Ridge”. Meanwhile, the Psychiatric Nurse quipped: “She’s got a room for me, as Jack Dunkley] would say to Tori [Adams]“.

Did Ridge move to the Gold Coast?

Yup, in fact, Ridge was two days ahead of schedule with his move.

Ridge shared a gallery of photos including pics of him celebrating his last night in Sydney, and selfie with Jade alongside a car packed with all of his belongings.

“Last night saying bye to my nearest and dearest before making the move up to the GC,” he wrote in the caption.

Jade reveals how post-MAFS life is

Jade and Ridge are the only other originally MAFS couple apart from Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams who are still together.

The mum-of-one told Daily Mail Australia that her and Ridge’s relationship has been thriving since leaving the experiment.

“We have enjoyed it. It’s crazy busy with everyday activities and everyday life and events here and there. So it’s been good,” she said.

Jade and Ridge have headed off on two holidays together since filming of MAFS wrapped. The first of which, they went to Bali with some friends. The second holiday they decided to make a family affair.

Ridge shared a photo of himself, Jade and Victoria posing by the hotel pool, and captioned it: First fam holiday ✅.”

‘Getting tough’: MAFS expert Mel Schilling shares emotional cancer update

Former Married at First Sight expert Mel Schilling has shared an emotional update on her ongoing battle with stage three colon cancer.

Known for her roles on both the Australian and UK versions of MAFS, the 52-year-old has opened up about her diagnosis, the challenging journey through treatment, and her hope to raise awareness about the often overlooked symptoms of the serious condition.

Mel Schilling Opens Up About ‘Tough’ Cancer Battle

Speaking to The Mirror, Mel reflected on the past six months, admitting, “It’s getting tough now. I’m about halfway through and it’s getting hard.

“Feeling fatigued and nauseous is a bigger part of my everyday life. It feels like I’m hungover or pregnant every day, which is not fun.”

Despite undergoing gruelling chemotherapy, Mel remains remarkably positive and determined, bolstered by the unwavering support of her husband Gareth and their nine-year-old daughter, Maddie.

The family has now settled permanently in South West London, with Mel revealing she began chemotherapy on the same day they moved house.

“In true ‘me’ fashion, the day we moved was the day I started chemotherapy. I don’t do things by halves,” she told the publication.

Mel’s Tough Road to Diagnosis

Mel’s journey to diagnosis was fraught with challenges. Initially misdiagnosed twice, she experienced severe symptoms while filming MAFS last year.

“The last quarter of 2023, I was in Australia filming MAFS and there was a crossover with filming in the UK so I had to fly back and forth,” she said.

“That was hard because it’s a long flight, so you’ve got the tiredness and the jet lag and I’m 52! My body was complaining about all the long-haul flights and I thought that’s all it was.”

However, her condition worsened with rapid weight loss and a loss of appetite.

“My digestive system packed to a halt and I started having stomach pain. I wasn’t paying attention to my body because I was so busy.

“Once I got home, I realised I hadn’t eaten anything in around a week and I hadn’t been to the toilet in three weeks. I’d lost over a stone in weight and I was on a liquid diet by this point,” Mel explained.

A gastroenterologist eventually discovered a five-centimetre tumour in her colon through a CT scan – which the star humorously named ‘Terry’.

Since then, Mel has undergone successful keyhole surgery to remove the tumour and completed five rounds of chemotherapy.

Will Mel Schilling Return To MAFS Australia?

While she’s set to return to Oz later this year to film the newest season of MAFS after shooting for the UK franchise, Mel revealed she “doesn’t miss’ the land Down Under.

“The UK is home now. I still get my Aussie fix when I go over there for work, but I actually don’t miss it,,” Mel revealed.

“It sounds a cliche but, for me, home is wherever Gareth and Maddie are. As a family, we have travelled a lot together, we love to go places and we love adventures. Wherever they are, that’s my foundation.”

Mel’s hope to spread awareness

As she continues her battle, Mel is using her platform to raise awareness and remove the stigma around discussing symptoms of colon cancer.

“I want to get people talking about this and remove the ridiculous stigma we talk about other bodily functions,” she said.

“We talk about boobs all the time when it comes to breast cancer. Let’s talk about poo as well.”

FWAW 2024’s Caitlin reveals if she’s dating Farmer Bert

One of the biggest bombshells dropped at the Farmer Wants a Wife 2024 reunion was Farmer Bert revealing that he was in contact with his eliminated Lady Caitlin Crank.

Bert left FWAW single and broke the news to his three remaining Ladies Caitlin, Karli and Brooke that he was leaving the farm alone.

However, Bert revealed at the Reunion that he’d met up with Caitlin since filming wrapped.

“I had to get some tackle, and of course, Caitlin was there working,” he told the host Samantha Armytage.

When she asked Bert if there was any chance of “rekindling the romance that was there” with Caitlin, he responded coyly.

“I don’t know what the future holds, but there’s always a chance,” he said.

Caitlin reveals whether she’s dating Farmer Bert

Unfortunately, for Bert and Caitlin stans, the NDIS worker has taken to Instagram to confirm that she and Bert aren’t together.

“[I have] had a lot of questions about Bert and I. We still contact each other but only as friends, I wish him nothing but the best at finding his special person,” she wrote in a story.

Caitlin from FWAW

Is Bert dating any of the other FWAW contestants?

After Farmer Bert walked out of Farmer Wants a Wife, rumours were swirling that he was dating eliminated Lady Lauren.

“The show was filmed late last year and while viewers will have their own ideas on who he might have genuinely liked they will be surprised to know he has been romancing one girl who had already left,” a source told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.

The insider added that Bert was “strong-armed into letting her go [by producers].”

“Farmer Bert is a good guy, and he will have no problems finding someone once the show finishes,” a close friend told the publication. “But he has gotten closer to Lauren and they have been keeping things quiet. I’d say he was fed up with production, and knew he made a mistake letting her leave and was waiting to reconnect.”

However, Lauren has since squashed those rumours.

“I know this will be disappointing for some to hear, but we are not together. Though Bert and I still talk and are friends, we have not seen each other since I left the farm that night,” she wrote on Instagram.

Are FWAW lovebirds Farmer Dustin and Sophie still together?

Farmer Dustin’s Final Pick has been one of the biggest cliffhangers this FWAW season, and it wasn’t obvious if he’d choose to leave the show with Sophie or Anna.

Unlike some of the other Farmers who had a clear front runner, Dustin built a strong foundation with both of the Ladies.

However, it was ultimately Sophie that Dustin chose, leaving Anna heartbroken upon learning of his decision.

Sophie was delighted to hear that she was Dustin’s Final Pick, but are they still together now?

Here’s everything we know about the future of Dustin and Sophie’s relationship.

Farmer Dustin and Sophie. Seven.

Are Farmer Dustin and Sophie still together?

During the FWAW reunion, Dustin and Sophie delighted fans by confirming they are still very much together.

Despite Sophie initially putting the brakes on their relationship over Dustin’s fixer-upper cottage, cheekily referred to as the ‘boy’s house,’ they have since managed to work things out, with Dustin promising, “I’ll I’ll do what I’ve got to do to get make sure she’ll come.”

“I don’t know if we would pass a health and safety inspection,” Sophie laughed.

Despite their brief time apart, Dustin confirmed during the reunion, “Yes, we are still together.”

Asked by Sam if this farmer had successfully found a wife, Dustin gushed, “Sam, I think this farmer has found a wife.”

Sophie added, “I am very happy and still in love and excited to see what the future holds.”

We love a happily ever after!

Farmer Dustin and Sophie are still going strong! Seven

Is an engagement on the cards for Farmer Dustin and Sophie?

In a recent chat with Woman’s Day, Sophie revealed more about the lovebirds’ post-show life.

“We said ‘I love you’ straight after the show finished,” she dished.

Dustin added, “We’ve just slotted back into normal life. It’s been so lovely to witness how our relationship is outside of the show.”

Sophie has been spending weeks at a time on Dustin’s farm and plans to move in permanently after the netball season.

Joking about their future, she said, “If that goes well, there will be a diamond ring!” to which Dustin playfully replied, “Oh will there?” before adding the pair hope to have children “sooner, rather than later.”

They’ve even brought the love onto social media, with Sophie recently reflecting on six months with her beau.

“‘Just see what happens…’ ⏩ the last 6 months with you ❤️,” she wrote.

Anna, Dustin’s runner-up commented, “Ooh I love this 💛 so much happiness 🥹.” Cute!

Farmer Dustin’s final two ladies

After meeting Sophie and Anna’s family and friends, Dustin sat them down individually to reveal his final decision.

Some viewers were left devastated with Dustin broke the news to fan favourite Anna that she wasn’t the one for him.

“From the start, we got along so well,” he began. “But, unfortunately, my heart is leading me another way and I’m so sorry.”

“You’re one of the best people I’ve ever met, I have so much respect for you,” he added

Anna took the heartbreaking news with grace, and told Dustin that he’s a “really wonderful guy.”

“You’ve thrown yourself so wholeheartedly into this experience, and I’m really glad that you found what you’re looking for,” she told him.

Farmer Dustin’s decision

Relief instantly flushed over Sopie’s face. “That makes me really happy to hear, and like I said, I am falling in love with you,” she replied.

Next up was Sophie, who was Dustin’s Final Pick.

“There was a real, immediate connection between us both,” he told her. “Sophie, I’m in love with that small-town girl from Rand, and I can’t start to start out life back on the land.”

Farmer Dustin and Sophie aren’t allowed to reveal their official relationship status until the Reunion airs. However, a recent interview with Dustin suggested that he’d found a last love.

During a chat with New Idea, the Farmer said that his family were initially nervous about him appearing on the show, but “now after this all happened, they’re all pretty happy”.

Which Farmer Wants a Wife 2024 couples are still together?

Farmer Wants a Wife has a helluva track record for producing long-lasting couples, so which lovebirds from this season are still together?

Farmer Bert, 30, Farmer Joe, 33, Farmer Dustin, 26, Farmer Dean, 25, and Farmer Tom, 22 all entered the show on the first episode in search of their soulmate.

Then, Farmer Todd came along part way through the season, and he was tasked with picking from eight beautiful Ladies.

Of course, while all of the Ladies on Farmer Wants A Wife 2024 are amazing in their own ways, the Farmers are only able to pick one to ride off into the sunset with.

Now that the Reunio has aired, we know which Farmer Wants a Wife 2024 couples are still together!

FWAW contestants

Farmer Dustin and Sophie

Unlike some of the other Farmers who had a clear front runner, Dustin built a strong foundation with both of the Ladies.

However, it was ultimately Sophie that Dustin chose, leaving Anna heartbroken upon learning of his decision.

Sophie was delighted to hear that she was Dustin’s Final Pick, but are they still together now?

The new couple aren’t allowed to reveal their official relationship status until the Reunion airs. However, a recent interview with Dustin suggested that he’d found a last love.

During a chat with New Idea, the Farmer said that his family were initially nervous about him appearing on the show, but “now after this all happened, they’re all pretty happy”.

And that inkling turned out to be true because, at the reunion, Dustin and Sophie confirmed they were still together.

Verdict: Yes, Dustin and Sophie are together.

Farmer Todd and Daisy

Farmer Todd and Daisy on FWAW

Farmer Todd
and Daisy had a very tumultuous journey on Farmer Wants A Wife, but eventually love prevailed and the couple left the show together.

It’s been a few months since filming wrapped, and things look very promising for Todd and Daisy’s relationship.

While the couple aren’t able to confirm that they’re still together until the FWAW Reunion airs, signs indicate that they’ve made it in the real world.

The love birds follow one another on Instagram, and at around the time the show finished filming, Daisy shared a video of her on what looked a lot like a Farm. The post has since been deleted, which is… suss!

Alas, the worst kept secret was confirmed at the reunion, with Todd and Daisy unsurprisingly revealing that they’re still together.

In the time between the finale and the Reunion, Daisy moved to Todd’s farm, and the two are smitten with one another.

“I’m definitely in love with this girl,” Todd said before kissing Daisy.

“I’m very, very much in love with this man,” she replied.

Verdict: Yes, Daisy and Todd are still together.

Farmer Dean and Teegan

Farmer Dean pulled a Farmer Andrew (from 2023) and decided that he’d found his forever love before he’d finished eliminating the Ladies one by one.

After building a strong connection with Teegan, Dean knew that she was the one for him and promptly sent Bella and Tiffany home before asking Teegan to join him on his farm.

Thankfully, Teegan accepted the invite and told her Farmer that she was “falling in love” with him.

Of course, the show was filmed months ago, so fans are wondering if the couple made it in the real world. Both Teegan and Dean have stayed relatively tight-lipped about whether they’re still together, however, they follow one another on Instagram – which is a great sign.

A little worryingly though, Teegan posted a non-commital post about her and Dean’s relationship once their final episode aired.

“What a ride! Ending our journey on Farmer Wants a Wife with a very full heart. Wouldn’t want to have done it with anyone else! Thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way!” She penned.

On top of that, Teegan’s been posting stories and photos on Instagram for the past few months that show her at numerous music events and festivals, which… didn’t like very country-like.

And, it wasn’t the happily-ever-after that Farmer Dean had hoped for, as he and Teegan revealed that they had split up at the Reunion.

Teegan moved to the farm, however, after a short time together Teegan ended the relationship.

“We decided to go our separate ways,” Dean explained. “It was definitely a bit of a shock.”

Teegan added: “It was my decision. Coming into the experience you expect a farmer to work a lot but I think my expectations were a little different to what it was.”

Verdict: No, Teegan and Dean are not together.

Farmer Tom

Farmer Tom and Sarah. Seven.

Farmer Tom was the second Farmer to pick his final Lady, and he left the show in a relationship with Sarah.

Farmer Tom broke the news to his runner up Krissy, who was left blindsided.

“I did not see this coming, I had to kind of back it and believe it. I was obviously pretty confident in that connection,” Krissy said through tears after Tom broke the news.

“I’m shocked it takes a lot to be vulnerable with someone and get to that point where you’re open to it,” she added.

After letting Krissy down, Tom told Sarah he wanted to spend his future with her, and the couple said “I love you” to one another for the first time.

Both Tom and Sarah stayed quiet about their relationship status after their final episode aired. However, at the Reunion they confirmed that they were still together.

Unfortunately, the couple have split up since the Reunion with filmed, with Sarah confirming the sad news on her Instagram.

Verdict: No, Tom and Sarah are not together.

Famer Bert

Farmer Bert left the show alone, however, he revealed at the reunion that he’s been in touch with one his eliminated Ladies, Caitlin.

Farmer Joe

Farmer Joe on FWAW

Farmer Joe ended his journey with Sarah.

“Sarah, from the moment I first saw you walking up to me, in that yellow dress, you took my breath away,” he told her during the finale.

“I love the person you are, I love how strong and determined you are and how uncompromising you are in what you want to achieve.”

“I don’t have all the answers for us but I do see myself falling for you in the future. I want to tackle the future with you,” he continued. “I’m looking for someone who doesn’t need me but wants me. So, Sarah do you want me?”

Of course, Sarah was missing from former FWAW couple Jess and Andrew’s wedding. Considering that Joe was a bridesmaid and considering it took place in March 2024, which was just a few months after filming wrapped, fans were concerned that things had gone south for the couple.

However, Farmer Joe has since made it very clear that he and Sarah are still together.

“Sarah and I are still together,” the Farmer told the Canberra Times on May 23.

“There’s been a bit of a backlash, a lot of media saying that we’re not and all the rest of it.

“We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, we’ve had trials and tribulations, like anyone else. I think it’s been exacerbated by the whole experience which we had to go through.”

Prior to that, another promising sign for the future of the FWAW couple’s relationship was a post shared by Sarah the morning after the finale.

She posted a photo of her and Joe snuggled up in bed together. “Fun fact: My favourite movie is ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’, so I wore this dress as a good omen. Can confirm I didn’t lose the guy in 10 days 💛 (According to the rumours it was 11 😉)” She captioned the photo.

The couple also confirmed in the Farmer Wants a Wife reunion that they were still together.

“We’re still hanging in there,” Joe told the host Samantha Armytage before giving Sarah a kiss.

The truth behind Sam Armytage’s FWAW hosting takeover from Natalie

Farmer Wants a Wife fans were left scratching their heads last month when Sam Armytage suddenly took centre stage as host of the reality series instead of the show’s longtime beloved star, Natalie Gruzlewski.

Nat, who has been hosting FWAW from 2007 until 2012, before returning in 2020, had been running the show solo for years, and doing a darn good job of it. So, when Sam waltzed in as the new series co-host in 2023, fans were left wondering, ‘What the hay is going on here?’

Now, an insider has spilled the beans on what went down behind the scenes for the former Sunrise host to dust off her Akubra hat and return to the series as its main host.

Farmer Wants a Wife Sam Armytage

Why Was Sam Armytage Brought Back As Co-Host?

Sam returned to the reality show as host in 2023, leading Nat to take on a more ‘scaled-back’ role on the program and paving the way for the former Sunrise star to step into the spotlight.

According to a FWAW insider, it all came down to contract negotiations and good old-fashioned ratings chasing.

“They had been using her on Farmer to burn her old Sunrise contract, but with Sam and the network being happy with the role in Farmer Wants A Wife, this is a renegotiation some said would never come,” the source revealed to Daily Mail.

Is Sam Armytage Here to Stay?

The insider also spilled that Sam has signed a shiny new two-year contract with Channel Seven, cementing her status as the queen of the crop.

“This new contract with Channel Seven marks a new era for her with the network,” they dished to the site. “With the show flying high, it was a great time to renegotiate, and Samantha is looking forward to getting back out into regional Australia and making new love stories.”

What’s Going to Happen to Nat Gruzlewski?

During last year’s season, Nat — who had been the sole host of the series from 2007 until 2012, before returning in 2020 — was joined by Sam, which was met with mixed reviews from viewers.

The unexpected pairing sparked a flurry of opinions among fans, igniting lively discussions about the direction of the beloved series.

But no need to worry, Nat fans – she’s not going anywhere. According to the insider, Natalie will continue in an “understudy” role as well as hosting her Nat’s Getaway segment on the reality series.

Meanwhile, it seems she has no bad blood about the show’s changes – in fact, she recently revealed enjoying a quieter existence and has returned to Queensland to be closer to her 11-year-old daughter, Olivia.

In a recent interview with the Courier Mail, Nat shared that despite the changes, the “authenticity of Farmer hasn’t changed” and it still creates “beautiful love stories.”

FWAW 2024: Natalie Gruzlewski

Will The Show’s Format Change?

The insider confirmed that the show’s format and hosting schedule will remain the same, so you can expect all the drama, romance, and farm-related puns you’ve come to know and love.

“There is no way the network will make any changes to the format next year. The numbers are up, and if anything, audiences can expect next year to be even more dramatic,” they teased.

“It is clear that wider audiences love the drama and the network will always chase the ratings.”

So there you have it, folks – the truth behind Samantha Armytage’s Farmer Wants A Wife takeover. While some fans may be mourning the loss of Nat’s solo hosting gig, it seems like Channel Seven is betting big on Sam’s star power to keep the ratings (and the romance) flowing on the farm.

Farmer Dean and Teegan’s strong connection is obvious, but they also share similar life goals.

Teegan went on the show looking for someone to start a family with, which aligns with Farmer Dean’s hopes.

“My ultimate life goal is to be a mum and to have a family. My parents are together and have been together since high school. Having someone for the rest of your life, that’s just what you want,” she told Farmer Dean in the premiere episode.

Dean revealed a similar sentiment in his audition.

“Would like to have 2 children, before I turn 30! Can’t wait to create a 4th Generation & teach them everything I know,” he said.

Farmer Dean’s final ladies

We all know that Farmer Dean left the show early to be with Teegan, but who were the Ladies he left blindsided?

Bella and Tiffany were the other two ladies left standing, and they had some idea that the Farmer was already invested in Teegan.

Regardless, Tiffany was left devastated with Dean broke up with her.

“I just wish you gave us a bit more of a chance,” she told Dean through tears. “I deserve someone to wants me, and someone that wants me in their life, and someone to love me.”

“Mixed emotions”: MasterChef’s Stephen explains why he was hesitant about the Redemption Cook

The sad development of Stephen being eliminated from MasterChef Australia 2024 came hand in hand with some great news; there’s a redemption cook this week and one of the contestants will be reentering the competition.

However, during a post-elimination interview with Chattr, Stephen revealed that he wasn’t as excited as one might expect about being given a second chance at the Master Chef title.

“Quite a few mixed emotions. I’m worried because I think what’s going to happen? And, I’m worried about whether I’ll get through it, and what will I have to do?” He revealed.

Stephen revealed he was relieved to be eliminated

Stephen said that while he was shocked to be eliminated, there was a self of relief that came hand in hand with the news.

“You have this relief because the pressure is suddenly gone because you’ve been under this pressure, you know for days and days and weeks on end and it’s a lot of pressure in that kitchen,” he said.

“You get out of there you go, you go home, and suddenly all that pressure is gone,” he added. “

“You’re disappointed because you’re not there, then you’re disappointed because you’ve not with your friends, you are disappointed because you’re not in the competition. But suddenly you think, ‘That pressure is gone’ and it’s great. And then someone says, ‘You could be coming back next week and it’s like, ‘Oh, my God, the pressures back on!” He laughed.

Stephen said if he gets a second chance he’ll be back to win

The winner of the Redemption Cook will be rejoining the game. Considering Stephen’s exceptional feedback through the MasterChef season so far, there’s a good chance he could be triumphant in the challenge.

Stephen said that if he were to return, it would give him extra drive to succeed.

“If I could a second chance to be back in there, I’d have extra fire, definitely,” he said.

Stephen touched on his close friendship with Juan, and said that he sadly thinks that he will be one of his toughest competitors in the Redemption Cook.

“I think Juan scares me, I hate to be up against him again! Although his cooking is very much to his heritage, he cooks that food superbly.”

FWAW 2024: Sarah confirms that she’s split from Farmer Tom in an Instagram post

After eliminating Lady after Lady, Farmer Wants a Wife‘s Tom has found his (hopefully) forever love in Sarah.

During the May 12 episode of FWAW, Tom made his final decision and asked Sarah to be with him.

Now that Farmer Tom and Sarah have officially become an item, fans are dying to know if the couple are still together.

Are they still together?

Unfortunately not! Although Sarah and Tom were still together at the Reunion, which was filmed a month after the Final Picks, they’ve since split.

Sarah confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post.

“I applied to FWAW with the sole intention of falling in love with Tom and I certainly surprised myself with how deeply I felt for him in a short amount of time,” she began.

“Unfortunately, that lifelong love that I was seeking with Tom did not turn out the way that I had hoped it would, but it’s definitely a relief now to put that truth out there that Tom and I are no longer together. Relationships don’t always work and people are not always who you think they are.”

Farmer Tom and Sarah’s pairing

Farmer Tom and Sarah’s strong connection has been obvious to viewers since they first met, and the pair has similar life goals.

“We have spoken about family plans, and Tom and I definitely want a few kids,” Sarah told her mum during the May 12 episode.

Despite only being 22 and 23, both Tom and Sarah don’t believe in waiting to find their soulmate.

“Why wait?” Tom asked Sarah during the first meeting, to which she responded: “If I find the right person, I don’t need to keep looking.”

They also both want to settle down in the next few years.

“I want to find that person, I don’t want to be looking forever,” Sarah said.

Farmer Tom’s final two ladies

We all know that Farmer Tom left the show with Sarah, but what happened to Krissy? She was left brokenhearted when Tom told her that he hadn’t picked her.

Prior to finding out about his choice, Krissy told the cameras: “It’s my last day here at the farm and I’m really attached to this place. It feels like home. I see my future being here and with Farmer Tom.”

Krissy on FWAW. Seven.

However, it wasn’t to be as Tom told Krissy that he didn’t think he was the right person for her.

“I did not see this coming, I had to kind of back it and believe it. I was obviously pretty confident in that connection,” Krissy said through tears after Tom broke the news.

“I’m shocked it takes a lot to be vulnerable with someone and get to that point where you’re open to it,” she added.

Farmer Tom’s decision

After breaking up with Krissy, Farmer Tom took Sarah to a beautiful garden setting and told her that he wanted to be with her.

“At this point in time Sarah, you are the person I want a relationship with and I’m falling in love with you,” he told her.

“I think I’m already there,” Sarah replied in delight.

The pair later sealed their relationship with the L bomb.

“I do love you,” Sarah said. “I love you too Sarah,” Tom replied.

If you’re a millennial you’re probably going to know the 90s boy band Dream Home’s Brad was in

Dream Home’s Brad Pinto isn’t exactly a stranger to the spotlight, the dad of four was in a very popular boy band back in the 90s.

During an interview with Chattr, Brad revealed that he was a moment of the band CBD, which released the iconic single Let’s Groove in 1995.

“The band was CDB it was like a harmony, R&B kind of band,” he said. “It was a great part of life, having fun doing what we loved with mates and getting to see the world. It’s just been an amazing experience, to have my brothers in the band as well.”

During their time together, CDB (which stands for Central Dandenong Boys) produced backing vocals for Peter Andre when he supported Madonna on her Australian The Girlie Show World Tour.

They also had a number two hit with their cover of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Let’s Groove, and success with their debut studio album, Glide with Me which peaked at number six on the ARIA charts in 1995.

While CDB’s heyday was certainly the 90s, Brad revealed that the band is still together.

“Now we’re actually a man band. Not as frequently obviously and not as much touring as before, because everyone’s got families,” he said.

Brad on Dream House

Brad is competing on Dream Home alongside his wife Mel, and the pair have put forward their Northcote home, where they and their four children live, for renovation by their teammates.

“We’ve been trying to renovate for at least six years when we started the process six years ago, and then COVID hit and Brad’s in the arts so we lost income there and we were like, ‘Oh gosh we can’t build’ and then we came out of COVID we really can’t afford to do a full renovation,” Mel explained.

“The banks are really not wanting to lend much where we’ve got four dependents. Between educating [the kids] and then just everyday cost of living could not afford the build,” she added.

For that reason, Mel revealed that Dream Home was a “no-brainer”, because it would mean getting a fully renovated house for their family.

“If you’ve got a chance, why wouldn’t you take such an amazing opportunity?” Brad added.

Dream Home premieres at  7.00pm on Sunday, 26 May on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Everything you need to know about MasterChef’s TikTok Sensation Mikiko Terasaki

Sunday night’s Elimination Cook will see a very special chef grace the MasterChef Australia kitchen; TikTok sensation Mikiko Terasaki.

Mikiko will be setting the challenge – and she’s very well known for her omurice dish. So it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the contestants will be challenged with recreating her viral Japanese Rice Omelette.

Here’s everything we know about Mikiko.

How Mikiko Terasaki’s restaurant went viral

Mikiko has her own Japanese restaurant in Sydney called Omu, which started as a weekly Japanese market stall in Chinatown.

However, it wasn’t until one of Australia’s biggest food influencers posted about her place, that it became outrageously popular. Food influencer Adrian Widjonarko posted a TikTok about Omu’s Omurice dish which went viral.

“After the TikTok our business skyrocketed, and there were queues up to two hours every week at the food stall,” Mikiko told Sydney Morning Herald. “It had a huge impact on the business, and we grew from a small food stall to a restaurant in Ultimo.”

Adrian’s post catapulted Omu into the public eye, and these days the restaurant is regularly booked out with lines out the door.

How hard is Omurice to make?

In short, yes. The Omurice dish is unofficially known as the “world’s hardest-to-make-egg”. It involves making a dish that’s a soft, fluffy, and creamy omelette over rice stir-fried, however, the omelette must be of perfect consistency.

What task will Mikiko Terasaki set for the MasterChef contestants?

The official Synopsis for the ninth MasterChef elimination gives an insight below:

With all in black aprons bar David who secured immunity, it is elimination day, and yet, spirits are high as the cooks enter the MasterChef kitchen to discover a cute mobile phone-shaped booth which soon springs to life with today’s special guest.

Mikiko Terasaki, founder of the popular Sydney restaurant ‘Omu’ wows the group with her demonstration of her omurice dish, a classic Japanese comfort dish that she turned into a viral sensation – it comprises an omelette placed on a bed of rice which is then cut open to unfold dramatically, before a sauce is added on top. It’s quick but mesmerizing, showing just how effective the simple egg can be.

The contestants learn that this will be their task today – to creatively incorporate eggs into their own dishes in a 75-minute cook, with the least impressive dish sending its maker home. Seemingly simple, the judges want to see innovation, technique and flavour today.
