Poor Farmer Jason had a rough start on Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) 2026, with several of his Ladies choosing to self-eliminate, but it was just a stepping stone on his journey to finding his winner.
Farmer Jason built some strong connections throughout his time on the show, with longtime frontrunners Poppy and Logan being the lucky two who were left vying for his heart during the finale episode of FWAW 2026. But who did Farmer Jason pick?

Who does FWAW Farmer Jason pick as his winner?
The last Lady left standing on Farmer Jason’s farm was Poppy, who beat out Logan during an intense yet heartfelt final choice ceremony. Viewers first saw Jason deliver the heartbreaking news to Logan, who seemed to be in surprisingly good spirits despite losing out right at the finish line.
“You’d make a fantastic partner, but unfortunately, my heart is with someone else,” Farmer Jason said while holding back tears. For her part, Logan — who many fans tipped as a frontrunner — took the blow in her stride, saying she appreciated the time she spent on Jason’s farm.
“I’m grateful that I’ve met you,” Logan responded. “I hope he’s happy and gets what he wants.”
A happier ending was in store for Poppy, with Farmer Jason saying he’s willing to work through her choice not to have kids while picking her as his winner. “It’s a chance I’m willing to take,” Jason said as he admitted he had fallen for Poppy.
Despite the happily-ever-after, Poppy’s lukewarm response was a bit of surprise. She responded to Jason’s outpouring with a simple, “I can’t wait to get to know you more,” which feels like a… choice?
That ending might leave you wondering, are Farmer Jason and Poppy still together outside of FWAW?
Are FWAW’s Jason and Poppy still together now?
Jason was one of the few Farmers this season who managed to avoid major spoilers or rumours about his relationship status outside of the show. For now, we don’t yet know for sure whether Farmer Jason and Poppy are still together beyond the FWAW finale, so we’ll have to wait for that update in the upcoming Reunion.
That said, since their finale aired, there’s been some suss social media activity that could signal all is not well between Jason and Poppy. For one thing, neither party has posted much about the other on their respective Instagrams.
Aside from reposting a video from the finale, Jason hasn’t shared much on his page at all about Poppy. He only posted an image of himself with his two finalists, Logan and Poppy, neglecting to share a photo with his actual winner on her own.
Poppy did share a photo of herself and Jason after Sunday’s black-tie party with a generic caption, but hasn’t shared a single post about Jason picking her in the FWAW finale.
In the world of reality TV couples on social media, signs appear to be, umm… very, very, very bad that these two have gone the distance.
New Idea has reported that, according to a FWAW insider, Jason and Poppy have parted ways. Add to this sad news, Jason has allegedly been sliding into Poppy’s competitors’ DMs to rekindle old flames — including Bene, a contestant who didn’t even make it to Jason’s farm.
“A few of the women have compared notes, and some think Jason has been revisiting connections that didn’t get the chance to fully develop during filming,” the insider claimed.
To know for sure what happened, we will have to tune into FWAW‘s Reunion on Sunday, August 2, so keep your eyes peeled for whether Farmer Jason and Poppy have gone the distance when that episode drops.
Farmer Jason’s journey on FWAW before the finale
In the FWAW premiere, Farmer Jason picked five Ladies, Beth, Jessica, Jessie, Logan and Poppy, to come back to his farm, but that number quickly dwindled.
While Jessie made it to Farmer Jason’s town, she decided that she didn’t want to be a part of the show, and quit before she’d even stepped foot on the farm.
After spending the day with his remaining four Ladies, Farmer Jason gathered them at dinner and told them no one would be going home, explaining that he didn’t feel he’d had enough time to get to know them properly.
Jessica didn’t take Farmer Jason’s decision well, saying that it was unfair that he wasn’t eliminating anyone, and stormed off from the dinner table before later telling him she would be leaving the farm.
Then, in Episode 5, frontrunner Beth got a call from her daughter, who was struggling at home, and left the show to be with her, leaving Farmer Jason with just Logan and Poppy.
Kimberley joined the duo as an intruder shortly after, and while they seemed to have a good connection, Farmer Jason sent her home in Episode 11.
All the leaked clues about who Farmer Jason would pick as his FWAW winner
Farmer Jason and his now-confirmed winner Poppy did an impressive job keeping their relationship under wraps, with no spoilers leaking about who he chose ahead of the finale.
Before we knew she wasn’t chosen, Logan dropped a hint that suggested she and Farmer Jason were still on good terms, telling Pedestrian.TV that they “chat all the time.”
Given the outcome of the finale, we can assume the pair chat simply as friends. Poppy’s loss in the finale might come as a shock to some fans, who rode hard for her to be the last Lady standing on Farmer Jason’s farm in the lead-up to the finale.
“Is he just keeping Poppy to last so he has an easy decision for the final?” one person speculated on the official Farmer Wants a Wife Instagram, while another added, “I hope Logan wins, she’s my favourite.”
All that support did little to change Farmer Jason’s final choice, but we’ll be waiting patiently to see whether his romance with Poppy has stuck when the Reunion episode rolls around.
