Poor Farmer Jason has already had three of his five Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) Ladies self-eliminate since he chose them to return to his farm in the first episode, leaving him with just two left. Now, one of Farmer Zac’s Ladies has opened up about Jason’s predicament and shed some light on why so many of the women have called it quits.
“It just breaks my heart for Jason. He’s such a genuinely nice guy from the conversations we’ve had,” Maya told Chattr.
She explained she believes the decision for so many of Farmer Jason’s Ladies to leave comes down to a coincidence, rather than a reflection of his character.
“I think that it is a bit of a pressurised environment, and if you know, you’ve got to be real headstrong and confident in yourself to be able to last in that environment, and so I understand that a lot of girls maybe, didn’t survive as well, and I think that that it’s just pure luck, it’s nothing to do with Jason. It’s just the luck of the environment.”
The medical receptionist added that Farmer Jason is “a beautiful man.”

Who has left FWAW’s Farmer Jason so far?
Farmer Jason was allocated seven women to choose from in the first episode, and allowed to bring five back to his farm. He decided to take Beth, Jessica, Jessie, Logan and Poppy, meaning Bene and Britt were sent home.
While Jessie made it to Farmer Jason’s town, she decided that she didn’t want to be a part of the show, and quit before she’d even stepped foot on the farm.
After spending the day with his remaining four Ladies, Farmer Jason gathered them at dinner and told them no one would be going home, explaining that he didn’t feel he’d had enough time to get to know them properly.
Jessica didn’t take Farmer Jason’s decision well, saying that it was unfair that he wasn’t eliminating anyone, and stormed off from the dinner table before later telling him she would be leaving the farm.
Then, in episode five, Beth — who Farmer Jason picked for his first 24 hour date — received a phone call from her daughter who was struggling without her. After some thought, a tearful Beth told Farmer Jason she would also be leaving, so that she could go home to her daughter.
Now, Farmer Jason only had two women remaining — Logan and Poppy — to pick from.
Farmer Wants A Wife airs at 7pm on Mondays and 7:30pm on Tuesdays on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
