Farmer Dylan's winner Ally spoiled by teaser Farmer Wants A Wife Australia 2026

In an awkward stuff-up, Channel 7 played a teaser for the Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) reunion while the finale was airing. The problem? It basically spoiled who Farmer Dylan was picking as his winner.

ICYMI: On last night’s sweeping FWAW finale, Farmer Dylan picked Ally as his winner, breaking the heart of his runner-up Scarlett in the process (but she took it like an absolute champ!). The moment was — by far — the most suspenseful of the entire two-part finale, with Ally and Scarlett neck-and-neck for Dylan’s affections, as both women have loads of FWAW fans rooting for them.

However, some fans might have had their big ending spoiled on Sunday night. Big yikes! In a blink-and-you’d-miss-it blunder, Channel 7 played a trailer for the reunion before Dylan’s final choice, showing Ally and Dylan sitting on the reunion couch together, but with a gaping space between them.

This not only seemingly confirmed Ally as the winner, but suggested that Dylan and Ally may have already split up before the reunion. Oop.

Angry fans have taken to a FWAW Facebook group to slam Channel 7 for the rogue move. “Did ya’ll see the promo for the reunion!? They literally spoiled who Dylan picks! So frustrating,” the post read.

“Ridiculous,” read one comment. “Literally showed them kissing on the deck wearing the exact same clothes as the final picks BEFORE he picked her,” added another. “So stupid.”

There was some dispute in the comments over whether the promo was played before or after Dylan’s decision, but viewers from Melbourne and Queensland claimed the teaser aired before Dylan picked Ally — spoiling his final decision.

Some weren’t that fazed as they were just happy Ally won. “Yeah I seen that but I think he made the right choice,” wrote one chill fan.

Another was a little more interested in the seating positions of the two in the teaser. “They’re sitting on opposite end of the couch…” they noted.

This is one of two awkward spoilers from this FWAW season, after fans previously spied that Farmer Alex picking Eddy as his winner was detailed in the TV Guide, but it was published days before the episode aired. Eek!

Who did Farmer Dylan pick in the Farmer Wants A Wife finale?

Farmer Dylan followed his heart and chose Ally during the Farmer Wants A Wife finale, ending Scarlett’s journey before declaring his love for the woman who had walked away.

Dylan first broke the news to Scarlett and admitted that their different lifestyles had left him questioning whether they were compatible. Fighting back tears, he told her: “I have to lead with my heart. I’m really sorry, Scarlett, but it’s not us.” Like a queen, Scarlett accepted the decision calmly, hugged Dylan and wished him and Ally well.

When Ally arrived at the final decision ceremony, Dylan made it clear their instant connection was undeniable. “This final decision has been made from my heart and from what my gut tells me to do,” he said.

“I have to follow how I feel. And I love you. I love you a lot.”

A stunned Ally replied, “Me?!” before laughing and embracing him. The moment brought their turbulent journey full circle, with Dylan committing to the woman who had remained his strongest connection throughout the season.

The pair sealed the decision with a sweet kiss, leaving the show together and ready to pursue their relationship away from the cameras.

But did they last? We will have to tune into the reunion to find out!

The Farmer Wants A Wife reunion is expected to air soon on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
