Scarlett was sent home single after Farmer Dylan chose Ally during his Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) finale, and she’s now revealed an unaired conversation from their final date that could have influenced his final decision.

Prior to making his final choice, viewers saw Dylan question his relationship with Scarlett during Sunday’s episode of FWAW, worrying that her more glamorous lifestyle might make it difficult for her to adapt to life on the farm.

But those weren’t Dylan’s only doubts about their relationship. Scarlett told Chattr they also had a candid conversation about her moving to the farm during their final date, and he wasn’t happy with the timeline she set. However, the discussion never made it to air.

“I told him I probably wouldn’t have moved [to the farm] until like six months to a year because, in my opinion, I think when you move in with someone super quickly, it can go downhill quite quickly,” she revealed. “It’s like that saying, ‘The brightest stars burn out the fastest.'”

“Ally was ready to move straight away, whereas I wasn’t,” she said.

Scarlett added that Dylan was hoping that his final pick would move to the farm straight away, and said he was disappointed when she revealed she wouldn’t be immediately ready.

“Dylan was not happy with that. He wanted me to move quite quickly,” she said. “[But], it’s hard uprooting your whole life to go and move and kind of live someone else’s dream, and that is what we signed up for.”

“It potentially could have played into his choice, but honestly, I have no idea. I can’t work out men half the time,” she laughed.

Scarlett added that while she did hope to be picked by Farmer Dylan in the moment, she also found the day of his final choice incredibly daunting.

“When you get to the final moments of it. When you’re standing there, like waiting to see whether you’re picked or not. You’re like, ‘Oh, if I’m picked, I have to commit to someone else’s life. If I’m not picked, then I let go of this connection, this strong connection that I had.’ So it’s definitely really confronting being in that position.”

Scarlett reveals the moment she knew Dylan was dumping her during the FWAW finale

Scarlett and Dylan shared a very special final date in which she told him she loved him, and he said that he was falling for her. However, Scarlett said she still had her doubts walking into the final choice ceremony.

“I wasn’t feeling confident. But part of the reason why I wasn’t feeling confident is that before I came on the show, my experience in love had been quite bad. I hadn’t had proper relationships before. I had been the second choice quite a lot, so I was essentially preparing for the worst going into it,” she told Chattr.

She said at the start of Dylan’s speech she had hope, but said there was a singular moment where she realised he was breaking up with her.

“He kind of threw me off a little bit because when I was walking down, he was smiling at me, and I’m like, surely he wouldn’t be smiling. But when I got down there, I think I knew immediately he wasn’t choosing me because his face started twitching a little bit.”

“My heart did drop a little bit, and then when he finally said that it wasn’t when he said the but. That’s when I knew. That’s when I knew definitely, at least. But at the end of the day, when he did say I’m not the one for him, all I can do is wish him happiness, and all I can hope is that he’s with the person his heart is most drawn to, and all I can do is respect that at the end of the day.”
