A massive clue was dropped on Instagram.

Who is Farmer Dylan's winner on Farmer Wants A Wife Australia 2026

Farmer Dylan Scarborough arrived on Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) 2026 with a very cowboy-coded back story: this 24-year-old South Australian sheep farmer is a competitive rodeo rider who has spent years chasing his saddle bronc dream. Can we get a yee-haw?

Dylan is happiest outdoors, working with horses, caring for orphaned wildlife and getting stuck into farm life, but the 24-year-old has admitted that rodeo has cost him love before.

This time, he says he’s ready to “buckle down” and find someone who will back his dreams while building her own. “I’m looking for a lady who’s outgoing. She’s keen to give anything a crack,” he said in a teaser video.

“I’m not asking you to jump on a bucking horse with me, but you know, just jump on board this life I’m building.” So which lucky lady will win Dylan’s big heart?

Farmer Dylan’s love story on Farmer Wants A Wife

After sending home Kiara, Rhianna and Jamie in the Farmer Wants A Wife premiere, Farmer Dylan brought five women back to the farm: Ally, Lily, Tennille, Scarlett and Renae.

From day one, Dylan’s journey looked like it might be the season’s fairytale arc. During the speed dates, he was immediately taken with Renae, who had caught his eye before they even met. Their first chat had proper rom-com energy, with Dylan admitting she knocked him off balance.

He also had chemistry with Scarlett, later saying he was “smitten” after their speed date, while the bubbly Ally made a memorable first impression by blindfolding him for a chocolate taste test.

Dylan threw a curveball when it came time to choose his first 24-hour date. Instead of picking potential frontrunner Renae, he chose Ally, calling her a bit of a wild card. Their date quickly became serious: Ally met his beloved grandparents, rode his horse Billy Bob and opened up around the bonfire about her biggest fears and plans to have kids.

Dylan initially held back from kissing her because he wanted to give the other women a fair chance, leaving Ally disappointed. But the restraint did not last long, as Dylan ran back for more during Ally’s confessional to the camera. The pair shared a sweet kiss, cementing Ally as a firm frontrunner.

However, between Ally and Dylan’s sparks with Renae and Scarlett, his final pick is still TBD.

Spoiler: Who does Farmer Dylan pick as his winner on Farmer Wants A Wife?

Farmer Dylan’s journey is only just kicking off, so it’s not clear who he will pick as his winner.

That said, there are some clues on Instagram to suggest there are two clear faves who will likely make his top two: Ally and Scarlett. What’s the evidence?

On Instagram, Mia Scarsborough is followed by both Ally and Scarlett from Dylan Scarsborough’s farm and Mia follows both Ally and Scarlett back.

If the season follows the usual Farmer Wants A Wife format, Dylan’s final two women may eventually meet his family before he makes his decision, which would explain how Mia ended up following both Ally and Scarlett on Instagram and vice versa.

Curiously, Maya from Farmer Zac’s farm follows Mia too, which could suggest they crossed paths in the final weeks of filming.

Dylan and Mia share the same surname, but it’s unclear whether they’re related or how they’re related, but it seems more than likely they’re connected. According to Mia’s LinkedIn, she is based in Frewville, South Australia, which is just a 25–35 minute drive from Dylan’s sheep farm in Cherry Gardens, South Australia.

Either way, the fact that Dylan shares a mutual friend on Instagram with both Ally and Scarlett could signal that one of these women is his final pick.

Stay tuned on Farmer Wants A Wife to find out what actually unfolds.
