TheLove Island Australia contestants are here to find love and avoid the wrath of the Superfans!
The Australian iteration of the show is a bit different from its Love Island UK counterpart — on our side of the hemisphere, the series isn’t live, and Islanders are voted off by Superfans.
But who are these Superfans and what role do they play on Love Island Australia?
Who are the Superfans?
Eric, Kaylah, Hannah, and Taylor. Image: Nine
Love Island Australia Superfans are viewers of the show who receive episodes of the series before everyone else—and they make decisions about the Islanders’ fate.
For example, sometimes, Superfans will vote for the couple they think is the most loved on the Island or the opposite: who isn’t the most loved.
Speaking to Refinery29, producers of Love Island Australia said who the Superfans are in the name.
“The Superfans are exactly that — Superfans on the show that we recruit every year. They are very real and watch clips we supply them to make up their decision,” producers told the publication.
How do you become a Superfan?
If you are chomping at the bit to become a Superfan, you can apply before the season begins to decide the Islanders’ fate.
Channel Nine usually publishes an article and social media posts about applying, so follow those pages to ensure you don’t miss out on being a Superfan!

While Nine opens applications every year for the Love Island Superfans, there’s some people over on Reddit that think gaining the title of being a Superman isn’t so straightforward.
Some Redditors think it’s the producers being the Superfans but others aren’t convinced.
Do the Love Island Australia Superfans pick the winner?
No they don’t! Thankfully this is when the viewers come into play and they can cast their votes. The finale will be airing next week on Monday, December 16.
Stream Love Island Australia Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Love Island Australia 2024 is just about done and dusted for another year, but we still have to vote for our winners.
In recent years, Love Island Australia has been pre-recorded, which means that viewers weren’t able to vote for which Islanders were dumped throughout the seasons. Instead, those choices were made by the Islanders themselves, as well as a group of people called Superfans.
Superfans are a group of viewers who apply to receive advance episodes of the show and can vote for Islanders during dumping and challenges.
However, the Superfans reign has come to an end, because viewers will be the ones in charge of voting for the winners of Love Island Australia 2024.

Married At First Sight Season 12 will air on Channel 9 and 9Now in 2025.
The spicy season smashed viewership records and became the number-one reality series in the United States across all streaming platforms while it was originally airing.
But, despite its monumental success, there has been no way to (legally) watch the show in Australia until now.
Six months after the popular program initially premiered on Peacock in America, we’re finally able to settle in and watch the shenanigans go down.

How to watch Love Island USA Season 6 in Australia
Love Island USA will be airing on Channel 9 and 9Now from December 11.
Who is in the cast?
Love Island USA Season 6 has ten original cast members, Aaron Evans, Coye Simmons, Hannah Smith, JaNa Craig, Kaylor Martin, Kendall Washington, Kordell Beckham, Leah Kateb, Rob Raush and Serena Page.
Throughout the season, multiple Bombshells will be sent into the villa to try and find their matches, and one of those is our very own Aussie — Olivia Walker.

Who is the host of Love Island USA 2024?
Former Vanderpump Rules cast member Ariana Madix stepped into the role of host of Love Island USA Season 6. She took over from Modern Family’sSarah Hyland, who hosted the popular reality show from 2022 until 2024.
The winners of Love Island Australia 2024 are typically decided through fan voting.
However, discussions on Reddit suggest that fans this season may prefer to vote for their favourite individuals rather than couples. This sentiment could influence the way votes are cast during the finale.
“No favourite couples, so I will just vote for my fav islander,” wrote one Redditor.
“If Mimi is in the final (Don’t think so BCS [because] she’s a boss babe) I will vote for her. If not, en [Em] gets my vote.”
What’s the prize for winning Love Island Australia?
Love Island Australia finalists from 2023. Image: Nine
Last year’s winners, Kale and Tyra, were awarded a $50,000 prize. Usually, winners are asked if they’d like to split the winnings or steal it for themselves, but in 2023, the show departed from this structure.
It remains to be seen whether 2024 will follow a similar approach or return to the classic format.

The highly anticipated Australian Christmas movie How to Make Gravy premiered on Binge in December, and we’ve caught up with the cast and creators to hear all about the filmmaking process.
Paul Kelly’s iconic Australian song How to Make Gravy was adapted for the screen by ARIA award-winning musician Meg Washington and writer/director Nick Waterman.
Since its release in 1996, the song has gained cult status, cementing itself in the Christmas traditions of millions of families—with December 21 being celebrated as ‘Gravy Day’. It tells the story of Joe, an inmate writing a letter to his brother Dan as his family prepares to celebrate their first Christmas without him.

Meg Washington and Nick Waterman on the inspiration behind How To Make Gravy
During an interview with Chattr, Meg and Nick revealed they were inspired to create the Christmas movie by a series of events in 2019: After listening to the song at a friend’s Christmas drinks, she later suggested it would make a great movie.
When the couple reached out to Kelly’s manager, Bill Cullen, just to see if the idea was possible, he invited them to Kelly’s gig in Brisbane on December 21 — otherwise known as Gravy Day.
“Cut to us in the rain with 10,000 people and Paul singing that song and all the 10,000 people, us included, holding each other and just openly sobbing,” Meg explained.
“Nick and I just looked at each other and looked around, and we just thought, this is really special – we need to do everything we can to try and make this happen.”
Nick said that it wasn’t hard to get people onboard to collaborate with the project.
“There’s so much love and goodwill out there for Paul Kelly and so many fans of his music. People have been connecting with his music for decades,” he told Chattr.
“Whenever we were telling people about the project, we were amazed at how receptive they were.”

Hugo Weaving and Daniel Henshall on what it was like making How To Make Gravy
In the interview, Hugo Weaving, who plays prison cook Noel in the film, shared his insights about the story, their characters and his experience working on set.
“I think it’s actually a very beautiful film,” he said. “I’m really incredibly proud to be a part of it. Beautiful song – a great adaptation by a couple of really exciting team of filmmakers Megan and Nick, and fantastic to work with this guy [Daniel Henshall] and a great cast.”
Daniel, who plays prisoner Joe (and the song’s letter writer), echoed Hugo’s sentiments and told Chattr what drew him to the How To Make Gravy script.
“I think the catharsis and the understanding of people’s faults and how everybody makes mistakes and nobody is perfect,” he said.
“That really spoke to me; I just went, ‘Oh, this is so inclusive’, and it spoke of healing through community. Allowing people to accept their own faults and holding them accountable while giving care and support and not just keeping them isolated in their own fear, shame, or guilt.
“Every single character goes through some turning point, some revelation, some change – it gives us as an audience hope for them and hope for ourselves in our own day-to-day faults and mistakes.”
Hugo added: “I think it speaks to all of us actually because it’s about family and home and missing home.
“When you want to be there and you can’t and therefore about owning up to your own inadequacies and it’s ok to be human beings. It’s fantastic material.”

Brenton Thwaites and Damon Herriman weighed in on what they loved about the script
Brenton Thwaites, who plays Joe’s brother Dan, told Chattr that he could personally relate to the story that’s told on How To Make Gravy.
“It’s a very well-written character-driven drama about a family that on the page just felt really connected and were going through the trials and tribulations of most Aussie families, and it really just kind of hit home,” he said.
“The fact that it was very brave and the themes in it are confronting but at the same time very resolving and rewarding in a cathartic way. There’s a lot of great stuff for families in there … I think the relationships in this film are very recognisable and really emotionally impactful.”
Damon Herriman plays Roger, another family member mentioned in the song, said he’s been a fan of the song How To Make Gravy since the 90s and was intrigued by the character.
“I felt like [Roger] was someone I hadn’t quite played before, a little bit of an outsider in this family group who thinks he’s a bit better than everyone else, and was there was some humour to be had in there as well so it was a fun role.
“I got to play husband to Kate Mulvany for the second time in my life, and she’s a dear friend, so that was also a huge plus.”
How to Make Gravy is now available to stream on BINGE, Foxtel, and Hubbl On Demand.
While it may be a stunningly big call, Movie Night Part Two 2024 was, perhaps, Love Island Australia‘s most dramatic episode of all time.
The spicy ep peaked when a clip showed Sophie Millsand Zane Prophet hooking up at Hotel Amor. Once the video had wrapped, Sophie’s current partner, Dylan Towolawi, said that he knew that she and Zane had done “everything but sex” during the overnight stay.
ICYMI, upon her return from Hotel Amor to the regularLove Island Australia 2024villa, Sophie told Dylan about her kiss with Zane and only revealed that she’d been “touchy-feely” with him.
After the damning Movie Night episode finished playing, Dylan made a comment that left the other Islanders shocked, but it was partially bleeped out.

What did Dylan say to Sophie?
So, what did Dylan say to Sophie? One Redditor weighed in.
“I had no clue myself, but several people here have posted something to the effect: you sucked his d**k, and then the next night, you sucked mine,” they wrote. Which… Eesh, Dylan.
Jade, Hannah, Kaylah and Mia’s reaction to Dylan’s comment. Image: Nine.
The social media response to Love Island Australia 2024’s Dylan’s comment about Sophie
Social media didn’t take Dylan’s comment about Sophie too kindly, with one person writing on Reddit that it “genuinely broke” their heart.
“Guys, this is the world we live in. Women getting sl*t shamed and laughed and men getting applauded,” another commented in the same thread.
Another user questioned why Zane didn’t get the same icy treatment from the other Islanders that Sophie did.
“How Zane looked like the hero is mind-blowing! I’m disgusted by this episode,” they penned.
A third said that while they thought Sophie’s actions weren’t right, neither was Dylan’s response.
“Any guy who gets off on humiliating a woman in public as revenge is a red flag. Yeah, Sophie was wrong. She didn’t deserve to be publicly shamed,” they wrote.
Over on X, the sentiment was pretty much the same.
“Dylan with the 100 body count slut shaming a woman on national tv btw,” one person tweeted.
Some more X reactions are below:
How did Sophie get slut shamed in front of everyone but Zane got away with NOTHING ?? The double standards are insane bruh! #LoveIslandAUpic.twitter.com/g4uJ7PkYlk
So I’ve just finished the last episode and all I have to say is YES Sophie lied about the Zane situation and she should’ve been more honest about it BUT she doesn’t owe shit to nobody outside of Dylan all the boys laughing at her was crazy. #LoveIslandAUpic.twitter.com/t4BoK7Y3ke
Honestly i feel bad for Sophie. If I was her, I would’ve been like yeah I did it so what get over it. Zane ass needs to go home honestly he should’ve left after how he did Kalah tbh Dylan just has the upper hand that’s why he treated her like that chillee #LoveIslandAUpic.twitter.com/OSVQd5ZXNo
How do you as a woman comfortably defend a man who slut shamed a lady on a national TV. They both did silly things but making up excuses for the man cos in your head he's the victim in the situation is so awful. There's no victim in the Dylan and Sophie situation.#LoveIslandAU
Zane knew Soph had feelings for him and led her on. Feelings that were grown OUTSIDE of the villa. Now she’s the bad guy? And everyone is cool with Zane treating women like that? Disgusting #LoveIslandAU
Let’s not forget “Dyl” was the one who let everyone know that he didn’t believe women should have a high body count but with men it’s fine. Is anyone surprised he’s slut shaming Soph but is cool with Zane? #LoveIslandAU
Wow. Misogyny on full display. Yikes. Ick. Dylan's a grafting Fboy with a crazy body count. Game should recognize the game, but nope. Only the woman is sex shamed. #LoveIslandAU#LoveIslandAUS#LoveIslandAustralia

Being an Islander isn’t just about frolicking around a Spanish villa in a bikini. There are actually a lot of logistics that come into play behind the scenes, as Love Island Australia 2024’sMimi Parahiniexplained in an interview with Chattr.
When the Islanders aren’t busy dating their castmates in pursuit of true love, they need to worry about normie things, like eating and time—which isn’t as straightforward in the villa as one may think.
Mimi answered a bunch of questions about what the cast has to take into account while in the villa. Read on to find out how things work behind the scenes on Love Island Australia 2024.
Mimi on Love Island Australia 2024. Image: Nine.
What do the Islanders eat?
Any Love Island Australia fan will know that the Islanders are big on avocado toast paired with coffee for breakie. But what about the rest of the day?
Mimi told Chattr that the cast was supplied with a big spread of food every day — they just aren’t filmed eating it.
“The food was amazing. So blessed, so grateful. Honestly, because that was something that I heard, that the food was really bad,” she explained.
“We didn’t have to cook. I didn’t have to lay a finger on the cleaning or the cooking. The food was unreal. It was fresh salads and fresh fruits. We had steak, nachos and chicken schnitzels.
“I had to be very mindful because I still needed to wear a bikini every day,” she laughed.
Was there anywhere in the Love Island villa with no cameras?
The premise of Love Island is for viewers to have an all-access pass to watch the cast (hopefully!) fall in love while sharing a house together. So, was absolutely everything filmed?
Mimi told Chattr the only time they didn’t have a camera on them (apart from their days off, more on that below) was when they were showering.
“There were even cameras in the bathroom; I would get poo shy,” she said.
Em, Mimi and Sophie in the Love Island dressing room. Image: Nine.
How do the Love Island Australia cast know what to pack?
Packing outfits to parade around on national TV is no small feat — especially when the Islanders have no clue whether they’ll be sent packing on episode one or make it all the way to the finale.
Mimi said that production gave her a “really basic list” of things to bring, but she still struggled to pick.
“It was so hard,” she said. “[Producers said to pack] 20 night outfits and 20 day outfits.”
“However, I wanted to make sure that every outfit that I wore ate and truly showed who I was. So, for every outfit that I ordered, I would put a photo together on a little mood board so that I knew exactly what I was packing.”
Although the maximum amount of weight most international flights will allow is 40kgs, Mimi managed to smuggle a little extra onto the plane.
“My suitcase weighed 50 kilos,” she explained. “I was only allowed 23 kilos to check in, and I put 25 kilos in my carry-on and pretended it was super lightweight.
“If they pulled me out on it, I was preparing to get changed into all of the clothes at the airport.”
Mimi serving on Love Island Australia 2024. Image: Nine.
Who was the best at screaming ‘I’ve got a text’?
Mimi didn’t hesitate before sharing that it was “absolutely” herself.
Do the Islanders know what time it is?
While in the villa, the Islanders aren’t even allowed to know what time it is.
“The only way I could tell was when it was lunchtime and by the sun,” she said.
“I just know some days we would go to bed at about 5am, and others it was midnight.
“I really struggled some mornings because I was always just lying in bed waiting for the lights to turn on, and others I wanted to go to sleep, and I wasn’t allowed.”
How much alcohol can the Love Island cast drink?
While Mimi said that all of the Love Island Australia 2024 cast could have “fun with or without alcohol”, ex Islander Callum Hole went into more detail about how much they were allowed.
“Love Island, your maximum drink allowance is two drinks a night,” he told Chattr in an interview.
“If you get to the final, they allow you to have maybe three [drinks],” he added.
The Love Island cast enjoying some wine. Image: Nine.
“We did have a couple of down days. It was a very, very busy season because of how much drama and content we had. We were pretty great,” she laughed.
“We had a couple of days where we had no cameras, girls and guys separated, just to relax and sleep and get our sanity back before we’re back on to drama.”

With major delays sparking speculation about the show’s future, the long-awaited Season 3 is finally on the horizon.
Luckily, now we have some deets!

When is Euphoria Season 3 premiering?
According to Variety, Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming chief, JB Perrette, confirmed at a Wells Fargo tech and media conference that Season 3 is set to debut… in 2026.
The show also confirmed on Instagram that production will kick off in January 2025.
Euphoria premiered on HBO in 2019 with a star-studded cast including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow, Storm Reid, and Colman Domingo. Its second season finished in February 2022.
In March 2024, HBO announced a temporary pause in filming for Season 3. In a statement to Variety, the network reassured fans: “HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

Adding to the delay, HBO and Max content chairman Casey Bloys shared that show creator Sam had been wrestling with the series’ direction.
“There’s been a lot of back and forth,” Casey explained in a June 2024 interview with Variety.
“One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore. That’s where it was set and what made sense then.
“But I think he’s got a take that he’s excited about, and he’s busy writing.”

Which cast members are returning for Euphoria Season 3?
The core cast is expected to return, with Casey confirming that the main stars, including Zendaya, Jacob, Hunter and Sydney will reprise their roles.
Tragically, the character Fezco is not expected to appear in Euphoria Season 3 following the heartbreaking death of star Angus Cloud, who overdosed in July 2023 at age 25.

Additionally, Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat, will not return after a “mutual” decision to part ways.

According to Daily Mail, one of the season’s most jaw-dropping moments will be when Jamie casually confesses to a past fling with Teejay right in front of his bride-to-be, fellow intruder, Beth Kelly!
Who is Jamie Marinos matched with on MAFS?
Jamie’s TV groom is “TikTok tradie” Dave Thomas Hand, a 36-year-old caulking business owner.
The towering 6.6-foot Dave is an influencer in his own right, with nearly 30,000 followers tuning in to watch his caulking content on TikTok.

Channel 10 has officially confirmed Robert Irwin and Julia Morris are returning as hosts, ready to bring the jungle to our TV screens.
The season will mark 10 years of the iconic show in Australia.

I’m a Celebrity Season 1 winner: Freddie Flintoff

UK cricket star Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff was crowned the first King of the Jungle in Australia’s inaugural season in 2015. Four years later, Freddie admitted in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live podcast that he “cheated” his way to the win by lying to producers, claiming he left the camp several times a day for fresh water. Naughty!
In 2022, Freddie horrified fans when he sustained serious injuries, including broken ribs, after a crash while filming Top Gear.
Some footage of the aftermath was featured in his reality series Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams, where he returned to his hometown of Preston to form a cricket team with local teens. The show’s second season premiered in August 2024.
Most recently, Freddie announced a Disney+ Original documentary that will reflect on his sporting career and how his life has changed since that fateful day on the test track in Dunsfold Aerodrome.
I’m a Celebrity Season 2 winner: Brendan Fevola

Radio presenter and former Aussie rules footballer Brendan Fevola won the second season in 2016.
Since his days in the jungle, Fev has become known for spilling secrets about upcoming seasons, including teasing names for the 2025 cast. He’s also revealed behind-the-scenes production secrets, such as his jaw-dropping appearance fee.
Fev currently co-hosts the breakfast radio show Fifi, Fev & Nick alongside co-hosts Fifi Box and Nick Cody. He recently embarked on a health journey, shedding 30 kilos in 12 months, and has been named as a Keto Australia ambassador.
This year, the footy legend earned a spot in the 2024 Guinness World Records for the highest-altitude catch of an American football, an impressive 221.89 meters.
According to Daily Mail Australia, he’s also dropped hints about stepping back onto the field, this time as a coach.
I’m a Celebrity Season 3 winner: Casey Donovan

Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan was crowned the first Queen of the Jungle in 2017.
That same year, she released her first single in seven years, Lonely. She has since appeared on Dancing with the Stars, The Voice Australia, and How to Stay Married.
In 2020, Casey released her autobiography Big, Beautiful & Sexy alongside an album of original music. She later was announced as host of The Space Podcast, focusing on mental health and mindfulness.
She’s also been busy treading the theatre boards, with credits including starring roles in Chicago, 9 to 5, & Juliet, and Sister Act.
As for her personal life, in 2018 Casey began a secret long-distance, over-the-phone relationship with a man named Campbell. But six years later, she found out she had been catfished by her “friend” Olga.
Luckily, the story has a happy ending: Casey got engaged this year to her partner, Renee Sharples. Congratulations, Casey!
I’m a Celebrity Season 4 winner: Fiona O’Loughlin

Aussie comedian Fiona O’Loughlin took home the crown in 2018. Since then, she has appeared in the comedy film That’s Not My Dog!, as a guest quizmaster on Have You Been Paying Attention?, and as a guest on Riley Dyson’s Aussies with Stories! podcast.
Fiona remains busy with comedy, keynote speaking, and writing.
In 2021, she released her memoir Truths from an Unreliable Witness, where she candidly shared her experiences with alcoholism, homelessness, love and loss.
Entertainment reporter Richard Reid became the first American King of the Jungle in 2019.
Before the jungle Richard was best known as the gossip guru from Nine’s brekkie program Today and his appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia in 2015. He was a regular contributor to Channel 10’s morning program Studio 10, before the show was axed in 2023.
He remains an active member of the entertainment world, working as a freelance TV presenter and ambassador for non-alcoholic spirit brand Lyre’s.
Beloved chef Miguel Maestre won the crown in 2020.
Already a familiar face from 10’s The Living Room and other cooking shows like Miguel’s Tropical Kitchen and Miguel’s Feasts, this was the saucy Spaniard’s second foray in reality TV.
In 2019 he featured in Dancing With The Stars (although he was the first to be eliminated).

Hot off her start in Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor and later Bachelor in Paradise Season 3, Abbie Chatfield entered the I’m a Celebrity jungle in 2021 and emerged victorious as Queen.
Since her win, Abbie’s unfiltered personality has made her one of the most sought-after figures in Aussie media.
In 2023, Abbie joined the panel of The Masked Singer, though the show was sadly axed for 2024. Luckily for Abbie, she went on to land the role of host for the Australian spinoff of FBoy Island.
That same year, Abbie announced her departure from her radio show, Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, to dedicate more time to her hit podcast, It’s A Lot, and other exciting TV projects.
Abbie also hit the stage this year, bringing her Trauma Dump Tour live show to audiences across regional Australia.
Beyond her media career, Abbie has launched several collections in collaboration with adult toy brand Normal.
Netball remains a big part of Liz’s life, with her recent appointment as Chair of the Netball Australia Board.
I’m a Celebrity Season 10 winner: Skye Wheatley

Fans first got to know Skye Wheatley on Big Brother back in 2014, where she finished in third place. The mega influencer found her redemption in the I’m a Celeb jungle, after being unexpectedly booted from Big Brother in 2022, just weeks before the series aired.
Following her win, the 30-year-old mother of two told Chattr, “There were so many lessons that I learned in the Jungle, and I felt like it taught me so much.”
In September, Daily Mail reported on Skye’s trip to Turkey, where she underwent a series of cosmetic procedures, including the controversial Fox Eye lift.
In a twist precisely no one saw coming, fans are currently in shock over the news that former Love Island Australia 2024 contestant Eilisha Purcell has rather famous family members.
As reported by The Daily Mail, Eilisha is actually the niece (through marriage) of Tish Cyrus. Yes, Miley Cyrus‘ mother.
How is Eilisha related to Miley Cyrus?
Fans recently spotted on Eilisha’s Instagram account that she had been a guest at Tish Cyrus’ wedding to Australian actor Dominic Purcell.
As it turns out, Eilisha is Dominic’s niece, and his marriage to Tish now makes them aunt and niece. By extension, that would mean Eilisha and Miley are now step-cousins as well.
“Throwback to an amazing wedding celebrating love,” Eilisha wrote on her Instagram post featuring photos from the August 2023 celebrity wedding, held at Miley’s Malibu home.
Australian Survivor is known for its picturesque, remote locations — but where exactly is the 2025 season filmed?
Australian Survivor doesn’t have just one home. Over the years, it’s been filmed on the idyllic beaches of Fiji, the blindingly blue shores of Vanuatu, and even in the Australian country town of Cloncurry.
Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPagliaconfirmed that the 2025 instalment was filmed in the oceanic country when he shared a photo of himself standing next to a Samoan number plate.
“Well that’s a wrap! 2 more (cracking’) seasons of #SurvivorAU snuffed. All I gotta do now is get my full license,” he captioned the pic posted in October.
Jonathan’s post confirmed that both Australian Survivor 2025 seasons — Brains v Brawn and Australia v The Worldwere filmed in Samoa.
But, where exactly in Samoa was Australian Survivor 2025 filmed?
Samoa consists of two islands, and it takes about four hours to drive around the main island, Upolu. So, while Samoa isn’t exactly big — there are plenty of places where the series could be filmed.
Unfortunately for us, there are no specific details about where the 2025 season was filmed just yet. However, below are some of the most memorable locations that featured onAustralian Survivor 2024.
To Sua Ocean Trench

To Sua Ocean Trench is located on Upolu and is dubbed by travellers as one of the top swimming holes in the world.
A quick Instagram location search spawns hundreds of thousands of results, and it’s understandably one of Samoa’s most popular locations.
Some of the Australian Survivor 2024 cast got the chance to visit the famous swimming hole as part of a reward challenge.
Matareva Beach

The Rebels vs Titans crew built their camps on Matareva Beach in Upolu. The 2024 series was filmed right outside of the conservation area on the famous beach.
The popular white sand beach is lined with palms and black rocks, and it’s a popular snorkelling destination. The beach has recently been recognised as a Marine Conservation Area, and an initiative is underway to develop coral and replant it in the area to help marine life thrive.
Sheraton Beach Resort Mulifanua

Ever wondered what the Australian Survivor crew do when they’re not filming our latest batch of castaways? Well, some of them are staying at Sheraton Beach Resort Mulifanua.
The hotel housed many of the Australian Survivor 2024 camera people and producers. However, not all of the crew are flown in.
Last year, the show employed around 300 people per week and, overall, had more than 500 Samoans on its payroll, according to Samoa Tourism.
Oh, the things we’d do to see Jonathan’s digs!
Australian Survivor 2025 will air on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Well, kids. Grab the popcorn because Movie Night is on its way, and our Love Island Australia 2024 singles don’t know what’s about to hit them.
Nine has dropped the list of movie titles coming to the big screen for Love Island Australia‘s Movie Night, and fans have some predictions about what they’ll cover.
What is Love Island’s Movie Night?
Steph and Mercedes are certainly ready for the drama. Image: Nine
If you’re new to the concept of Love Island Australia‘s Movie Night, allow us to help. Essentially, it’s a night where the contestants cosy up to watch a series of short movies consisting of hidden moments they didn’t expect to be shared.
In short: it usually highlights the nasty things Islanders have been saying behind one another’s backs.
What is being shown during Movie Night 2024?

We don’t know exactly what’s coming our way just yet, but here are the movie titles Channel Nine has shared.
Love Island Australia Movie Night titles
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Illegally Blonde
Groundhog Tay
Saving Private Dylan
Mean Girls
Bad Boys
Get Her To The Greek
Those titles don’t give away all that much, but Love Island Australia fans still have some theories running for Movie Night.
Fan predictions for Love Island Australia’s 2024 Movie Night
Love Island Australia‘s Movie Night is ready to go! Image: Nine
The Long Kiss Goodnight will feature Sophie and Zane
“The long kiss goodnight is totally Sophie and Whats his face’s ‘just a kiss goodnight’ at the hotel,” they wrote.
Over on Facebook, fans are feeling much the same.
“Dylan is about to see how he got played by Sophie,” one user wrote.
In case you’re a little behind, this references the steamy weekend Zane and Sophie spent together when they were paired together for Hotel Amor… Dylan Towolawi (who is coupled with Sophie) behaved himself while in Hotel Amor with Mimi Paranihi.
Taylor’s repetitive approach with the girls will be exposed
Another fan shared, “My best guess is ‘Groundhog Tay’ Is gonna be Taylor [Reid] saying the same exact things to multiple girls hahaha.”
This was echoed by a Redditor who replied, “God, I hope so.”
‘Mean Girl’ behaviour will be called out — but we’re not sure whose
The movie title that has the most interest, it seems, is Mean Girls.
Some fans believe this movie will bring a little justice to the Islanders who have treated others poorly, while others worry it’ll affect their favourites. There is a fair amount of discussion online at the moment, with fans debating which Islanders will pop up, but the most popular names are Hannah Steinfeld, Kaylah Holmes, Em Miguel-Leigh and Mimi.
“I hope the “mean girls” is a throwback to Hannah and Eilisha [Purcell] at the beginning. We haven’t forgetten (sic),” shared one fan.
“I hope mean girls isn’t Em and Mimi I will crash out,” said another.
“I hope it’s the clip of Hannah, Kaylah and Krissy at the teepee hating on Em hanging out with Taylor in the pool. I want so badly for Hannah’s behavior to be exposed,” wrote a third Redditor.
“Get Mean Girl Hannah OUT,” said another.
“This is when the truth shines, and people’s real character comes out,” said a final fan – summarising the whole experience in one.
The only promo we have for this episode of the show highlights the Islanders getting riled up over the contents shown on Love Island Australia’s movie night, but we don’t have any clear hints about what’s coming just yet.
We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess! What do you think is headed to the big screen?
Stream Love Island Australia Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Fans of Home and Away have uncovered a potential spoiler in photos from scenes being filmed for 2025. The images appear to hint at the resolution of the nail-biting cliffhanger (involving Cash and Tim) from the November 2024 Home and Away finale.
What happened in the Home and Away 2024 finale?
Cash and Tim argue on Home and Away. Image: Network Seven
The cliffhanger focused on Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panazzo), Tim Russell (George Pullar), and Nerida (Ellie Gall).
Police officer Cash and Eden were once a couple. Their relationship ended when Cash, convinced he was destined to lose the people he loved, pushed her away. Eden moved on with Tim, a therapist targeted by his obsessive former client, Nerida.
Nerida’s fixation turned dangerous, expanding to focus in on Eden as well. In the Home and Away finale, Cash was seen following Eden and Tim to warn them of trouble coming. The episode ended pretty damn dramatically, with Tim lying motionless on the ground and Cash kneeling beside him, his hands bloodied.
Fan theories surrounding Tim’s fate
The finale sparked heated discussions among Home and Away fans. On social media, viewers speculated about the events leading to Tim’s possible death:
“After watching this scene again, I think Nerida was involved in knocking out Tim & frames Cash for the incident,” one fan suggested.
“Regardless of how Tim died (assuming that he did), Cash is 100% responsible,” argued another.
“Cash did not kill Tim. I reckon it is Nerida. Cannot wait for 13.1.25,” a third chimed in.
Most Home and Away theories centre on Nerida’s likely involvement and the possibility of Cash being framed for a crime he didn’t commit.

As was reported byYahoo Lifestyle, recent photos from the Home and Away set may provide a major hint about Cash’s storyline in 2025. The images show Cash Newman back in uniform, carrying out his duties as a police officer.
This detail suggests that Cash may not be held responsible for Tim’s fate—or that any accusations against him are resolved quickly.
