The MAFS stars are back on social media and they’re finally answering everyone’s questions

It’s official! The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 stars have their Instagram and TikTok accounts back and yes, they’re already doing a whole bunch of Instagram AMAs.

While some sneaky participants like Eliot Donovan and Jacqui Burfoot have amassed a large following with their alt accounts, and others like Dave Hand and Clint Rice managed to get back into their original accounts weeks ago, it’s the first time fans will be able to interact and engage with other fan favourites like Jamie Marinos, Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, Carina Mirable and more.

And there’s already some hints of drama, with Sierah Swepstone returning to Instagram to allude that she’ll be speaking out soon about her treatment on the show.

Here’s a roundup of what everyone has been up to in the first 24 hours since getting their accounts back

Awhina’s TikTok taking aiming at Adrian Araouzou and calling him out for gaslighting has already nearly gained 500k views.

Awhina was also quick to jump on the Instagram AMA trend, quickly clearing up rumours she was dating Billy Belcher (they’re just friends, sorry everyone!), and revealing she flew home five times over the filming of MAFS to be able to see her son. She also stated she and Adrian are no longer friends or in contact.

Carina Mirable

Beth jumped onto an AMA, and the intruder bride didn’t hold back. She happily shared that Lauren Hall was her least favourite co-star and that her favourite part of filming the whole show was the Dinner Parties.

Teejay Halkias

We all like a man who can poke a bit of fun at himself, but no AMAs yet from Teejay.

I was a guest on Episode 1 of Billion Dollar Playground, here’s what actually happened

If you’ve ever dreamt of holidaying like the ultra-rich—think chefs-on-call, jaw-dropping views, infinity pools, and $20,000-a-night villas—BINGE’s newest reality TV show, Billion Dollar Playground, is your backstage pass to that fantasy life… and I should know. I was actually there!

Yes, I was fortunate enough (and admittedly a bit nervous) to be the primary guest in the first two episodes of this lavish new show with a bunch of my glamorous girlfriends. From the moment I stepped off our private jet onto the red carpet that was rolled out for us, I knew I was in for a luxurious wild ride.

The show is best described as part Below Deck and part Luxury Escapes. It is set inside Australia’s most elite short-stay homes, managed by the high-end concierge company Luxico.

Billion Dollar Playground follows a team of hospitality pros catering to the kind of clientele who think nothing of demanding helicopter-delivered oysters or fireworks displays on 48 hours’ notice. The team includes everyone from butlers to private chefs, all working overtime to anticipate every outrageous guest request.

Our group appeared in Episodes 1 and 2 of the show, and I finally got a chance to see the finished product recently. Whilst we did experience a few hiccups during our stay, it was only when I watched the first episode that I realised all the drama that was unfolding around me.

What it was like behind the scenes as a primary guest on Episode 1 of Billion Dollar Playground

Episode 1 kicked off with a bang as Head Concierge Salvatore tries to lead his team to prepare the house for our arrival. The conflict between Salvatore and Heaven was one of the core storylines of the first episode as they continually clashed.

Things only got more tense as new concierge Jasmine joined the team and created more conflict with Heaven upon her arrival. I was shocked because Heaven treated us like royalty the whole time and she was vibrant and energetic – always coming up with creative ideas for us, that enhanced our stay.

Then there was the debacle of the missing vintage Dom Perignon (which my group paid a lot of $$ for). Luckily, Jasmine stated that she knew what would distract our group, wheeling out the hunky chefs!

Whilst the good looks and charms of the male crew were noticed by the ladies, they were dismissed by fellow guest, Monika, who had plenty to complain about throughout both episodes.

Chefs Matt and George did their best to keep us distracted from the delay with delicious canapés, but things got tense when the $2,000 caviar was being served with no champagne in sight. It was lucky that the team’s Handyman, Jay, turned up with a replacement bottle just in time, or he would have had a lot of thirsty ladies to contend with.

Following that, unbeknownst to the chefs and the crew, I had invited two of my friends to join us for dinner and one guest, Athanasia, brought her dog Saki.

As dogs are not allowed in the house, Salvatore had a visible meltdown. He contacted the owner for approval, and we agreed to pay extra cleaning fees. Matt and George were (rightfully) not happy to cater for last-minute guests and Saki – especially after the Michelin-hatted chefs were asked to prepare dog food for Saki.

Things only got more chaotic for the crew with the trip to Luna Park for our dessert experience. At the time, we had no idea what was going on behind the scenes. We were delighted to be chauffeured to Luna Park in a decked-out party Limo — until we arrived and had to wait more than half an hour.

The viewers missed out on seeing us dancing in the limousine, Beyoncé style. In the end, the wait was so worth it. The private Luna Park experience was nothing short of magical. We loved Matt and George’s dessert masterpiece so much that we all had seconds!

Chef George serving us food. Image: Binge.

From the luxurious villas to the wild party scenes (which I may or may not have danced through in Ep 2), Billion Dollar Playground is pure escapism. Whether you’re watching for the ultra-lux locations, the staff drama, or to live vicariously through the guests, you won’t want to miss a second.

The preview for Ep 2 shows the conflict with Salvatore and Heaven becoming explosive. Demands from my group start to border on obnoxious and I deliver some constructive feedback to Jasmine. I can’t talk about it till next week, but trust me things some how get even more dramatic.

Billion Dollar Playground episodes drop weekly from May 13 on BINGE and Foxtel.

Steph de Sousa on how MasterChef Australia has ‘changed a lot’ in recent years

Like all of the MasterChef Australia Back to Win 2025 contestants, Steph de Sousa has competed on the cooking show before. Her first stint was back in 2019 on Season 11, which was the last season featuring original judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston.

From season 12, Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and the late Jock Zonfrillo took over until Season 16, when Andy, Sofia Levin, Poh Ling Yeow and Jean-Christophe Novelli fronted the judges panel.

Looking back on her first experience on MasterChef Australia, Steph told Chattr that the change-up in judges has affected the feel of the show.

“It has changed a lot,” she said in an interview after being eliminated during the May 11 episode.

Original MasterChef judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston.

“I was the last season with Gary, George and Matt as the judges. So the kitchen is a very different place now, I think it’s perhaps a bit more playful and not quite as serious as what it was.

“The competition is still serious, but I think the atmosphere is perhaps a bit more relaxed and a bit more jovial than it was. Neither of them are better than each other. It’s just a very different place than what it was.”

Steph added that she found being judged by French chef Jean-Christophe a particularly fun experience, but is a fan of all four judges.

“I hadn’t met Jean Christophe before, so it was interesting meeting him. He’s a very unique character. It was great. It’s just a very different, they have a very different approach. And obviously I know Poh quite well, and I’ve met Andy a few times. So, it was nice.”

MasterChef 2025 judges Andy, Poh, Sofia and Jean-Christophe.

Does Steph de Sousa agree with the judge’s critiques at her elimination?

Steph was placed on a team with Jamie, Steph, Andre, Snezana, Tim, and Matt during the episode that aired on May 11. They were asked to nominate one person to go up against two other contestants in a Cube Taste Test, and chose Jamie. Unfortunately for them, Jamie incorrectly identified a strawberry cube, and their entire team was sent through to the elimination round.

In the elimination round, Steph cooked Crispy Pork Belly with Belachan Sauce, and she seemed happy with her dish when she served it up to the judges. However, Andy said there was too much Belachan in her caramel sauce, and Jean-Christophe pointed out that the fat on the pork hadn’t rendered, leading to her elimination.

Looking back at her dish, Steph told Chattr that she’s proud of what she created, and loves the strong taste of Belachan in the sauce.

“I was actually really happy with my dish. So it’s always disappointing when you go out on something that you like,” Steph told Chattr in a post-elimination interview.

“I still stand by it, which is probably stupid,” Steph laughed. “I really liked it. I really honestly felt that the sauce kind of balanced out the fattiness of the pork, but you know, everyone’s got different palettes, and I do like things that are really funky and really strong.”

MasterChef Australia airs on Sunday at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Steph de Sousa’s humble journey from MasterChef contestant to mega-influencer

When Steph de Sousa first appeared on MasterChef Australia Season 11 back in 2019, she had a fulfilling job as an HR manager, but craved working in the food industry.

Fast forward to 2025, and Steph’s culinary career has blown up. She has almost three million followers on social media, a recipe website, two cookbooks, and even hosts her own TV show, Frugal Foodie. And if that weren’t enough, she also returned to compete on MasterChef Australia: Back to Win 2025.

While Steph is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished contestants to ever emerge from the MasterChef Australia franchise, she told Chattr that she attributes her success to hard work.

“I spent a long time creating content that didn’t do very well, and just kept plugging at it and perfecting my videos and really working out what it was that people wanted to see,” she explained.

Steph was eliminated from MasterChef Back to Win 2025 in the May 11 episode after she cooked a Pork Belly with Bechamel Sauce. While Steph told Chattr that she was disappointed to leave early on in the competition, she added that she’s so grateful for the support she’s received from her followers.

Steph de Sousa’s followers began to rise once she found her niche

Steph placed 12th on Season 11 of MasterChef Australia and told Chattr that her time on the show lit a fire inside of her to pursue a career in the cooking industry.

“I was a HR manager for a government department, and it was a great job, but I would say it was slowly sucking my soul out of me, because I just knew that I just loved cooking, and I’d always wanted to work in that industry.

“So getting on MasterChef was a bit like, I was 46 if I didn’t do it, then I was never going to do it. So I just decided I was just going to jump all in and have a really good crack and see if I could make it.”

Steph said that her social media started to gain traction quickly when she began tailoring her posts to the needs of busy, working Australians.

“I always say that the day I stopped being a food snob was when I really started to take off on social media. Because people just want things that are real, you know, they want stuff that they can recreate.

“They want it quick and easy and tasty. They want to be able to buy the ingredients from the supermarket and not have to go and source it from somewhere unusual.

“So since I started making those kind of recipes and that kind of content, things really took off for me, which was just great. And I just love being able to provide — I really do feel what I do is a service of people — and I really love to be able to give them those recipes.”

Steph de Sousa is grateful for the community she’s created

With 1.3 million followers on Instagram, 678,000 on TikTok and 808,000 on Facebook, it’s safe to say that Steph is a household name for Australian home cooks. She told Chattr that she’s so appreciative that her loyal fans have helped her achieve her dream career.

“I’m doing exactly what I want to do every single day, which was always my goal,” she said.

“And I get so many amazing experiences, and I get to meet some really incredible people, and I have the most amazing followers who are always messaging me and stopping me in the street and telling me how much they love their recipes or asking for me to do a particular recipe.

“Honestly, it’s just so great.”

While we’ll miss seeing Steph on our screens during MasterChef episodes, we’ll be one of the millions tuning into her cooking on social media!

MasterChef Australia airs on Sunday at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Things just got really awkward during a 2025 MAFS reunion chat

Today is finally the day the Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 cast get their social media accounts back, but a few stray participants who have already been going rogue on Instagram just had a rather awkward run in.

Dave Hand and Katie Johnston jumped on an Instagram Live with Carly Portch (@carlysnapz) but things quickly turned sour when Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice also decided to join, with an unimpressed Katie promptly leaving the Live as soon the couple joined.

Host, Carly, told Chattr that the situation was “wild” with the Instagram Live going over two hours in total, with more clips to come.

“It started with Dave joining, then Katie, and then Jacqui and Clint. Katie left then jumped back on after to tell her side,” Carly explained. “I have since talked to Katie and it seems like they [Katie and Jacqui] won’t be friends anytime soon.

“So much drama has happened since the cameras were dropped and as someone who interviewed and was invested in the contestants the whole season I think we need a follow-up reunion!” Carly said.

Watch the awkward moment MAFS’ Katie ignores Jacqui and Clint

As Jacqui and Clint joined, Katie quickly jumped off, returning later when the pair exited the call.

“We feel bad about Katie leaving,” Jacqui said, before saying it was all due to a controversy starring MAFS 2024 star Lucinda Light.

Stick with us here.

“What happened was Lucinda commented in support of Ryan [Donelly] on a post and I messaged Lucinda saying ‘Hey, just so you know Ryan is not the victim here’,” Jacqui said, saying she sent Lucinda receipts about Ryan “lying”.

The couple went on to explain that Clint then did a post saying “wilful blindness isn’t an excuse”, with Lucinda later deleting her comment to Ryan. They then pointed out that Lucinda had done “the same” for Katie and “supported Katie” when news of her “tax fraud” situation broke.

“It landed poorly for her, and she [Katie] took it to heart,” Clint said on the Live.

Katie then appeared back on the chat solo to explain her side, and said she felt as though the situation was about “dragging Lu down and pulling me in.”

Did MAFS’ Lucinda support Ryan?

As aforementioned, Lucinda had previously left a comment on an Instagram post of Ryan Donnelly’s, where he had uploaded an inspirational motto the day after he was filmed exiting Campbelltown Courthouse after his AVO application hearing against Jacqui, with the mention being adjourned until June 24.

AVOs generally prohibit certain behaviour with the aim of protecting the person who lodges it. Ryan’s claims are unproven as the case is still before the courts.

“You can remember the person you were before today. The person that made where you are possible. Made it real. Who you were might not have been capable. Emotions ran wild as you faced every strange challenge. But they were always deserving of love. Loving yourself, flaws and all, makes tomorrow possible,” Ryan’s Instagram post read, teamed with a mirror selfie.

Lucinda then left a comment saying, “Good on you Ryan. Stand strong. Share your love and your lessons xxx”.

MAFS' Ryan's instagram post and Lucinda's comment

Clint then took to his Instagram Stories to call her out, saying, “Ignorance and wilful blindness is no excuse.”

“Your ‘loving’ deed on social media is perpetuating abuse and harm,” Clint’s story read. “Ignoring an issue makes you a tacit supporter of it.”

Lucinda’s comment then appeared to be deleted from Ryan’s Instagram post, and in a statement to Chattr she said, “I’d like to wish them all peace, love and resolve.”

What is Katie Johnston’s business controversy?

Jacqui and Clint mentioned Katie’s business controversy, so in case you need a quick refresher, here goes!

Katie describes herself as the CEO of a social enterprise group of restaurants that provides emergency food aid, education, housing, and employment opportunities to youth in Peru. However, after Katie’s journey on MAFS, it was reported that the company that owned the restaurants – Wild The Lifestyle Co PTY – went into liquidation in 2023, owing more than $400,000, which included $150,000 of unpaid superannuation.

Katie told The Sunshine Coast Daily that a payment plan was in place to repay the debt, citing Covid as a big factor. “Covid ruined a lot of businesses and continues to ruin people’s lives as we struggle with the cost of living and mass business closures,” she said.

Australian Survivor 2025’s Morgan Mitchell has given birth to twin girls

Australian Survivor 2025’s Morgan Mitchell has given birth to twin girls. The former Olympian shared the happy news on Mother’s Day in an Instagram post, revealing their beautiful names.

“Honey + Maya,” Morgan captioned two black and white photos and one video of the babies, along with a white love heart and a bow and arrow emoji.

Morgan didn’t specify when her girls were born, but her last pregnancy photo was on May 1 when she shared a photo of her graduation, while proudly showing off her pregnant belly.

Morgan’s Australian Survivor castmates share congratulatory messages

Morgan’s castmates from Australian Survivor: Brain V Brawn II took to the comments section of her announcement post to share their well wishes.

“Congratulations guys, the hair. How gorgeous,” Laura Noonan wrote, while Logan Johannisen commented, “Congrats mumma!”.

When do the MAFS stars get their Instagram accounts back?

Married at First Sight (MAFS) was an absolute rollercoaster this season, but in good news the 2025 participants are due to get their social media back on May 12 and we can’t wait for the next wave of drama to unfold.

Two inside sources previously told Chattr they’d be back on Instagram and TikTok as of today, so we’re keeping our eyes peeled to see who drops the first AMA!

MAFS bride Awhina Rutene also dropped on her burner Instagram account last night that she’d be moving back onto her main profile at some stage today.

MAFS’ Eliot drops when MAFS cast will get their TikTok accounts back

Eliot Donovan is one of the cheeky cast members who went rogue during the season and has amassed a huge following on TikTok with over 260k followers on his new account @not_eliotd.

In a recent TikTok he posted with Carina Mirable and Jamie Marinos ahead of a club appearance, Eliot dropped that the cast would be getting their social media back sometime next week, saying it would be in “10 days” after a fan asked when Carina would be back on TikTok.

MAFS’ Jamie reveals when the 2025 cast get their Instagram and TikTok accounts back

Jamie previously told the Stav, Abby & Matt Show that the cast won’t get their Instagram and TikTok accounts back until sometime in May, saying anyone currently active on their original personal accounts has “hacked” the system.

“The people who have got it [social media] back, are the people who have hacked in,” Jamie said. “So my ex-husband [Dave Hand], who has hacked in to post thirst traps, Jacqui [Burfoot] has been going rogue, my new love interest Eliot [Donovan] has always had a separate account,” Jamie then laughed.

The reason why MAFS stars don’t get their accounts back straight away

“You gotta wait until it finishes airing in the UK,” Jamie confirmed. “It’s actually a really good duty of care, imagine how many people would be messaging, like, Adrian [Araouzou] that they hate him.”

Jamie also said Channel Nine doesn’t go into the participants’ accounts, with DMs disabled, and social media posts all managed via a third-party app.

Which MAFS stars are active on social media right now?

As Jamie mentioned, there’s been a few MAFS stars go rogue this season, most notably Jacqui, Eliot, Adrian, and Ryan who have all regained some control over their own narratives as the show has aired.

Morena Farina also used her DJ account to get her story across, and participants like Lauren Hall apparently never handed over access in the first place.

Dave, Veronica [Cloherty], and Clint [Rice] are all people who managed to get back into their original accounts, with Clint telling Chattr: “I was literally just there one night. I was on my TikTok on my other account. And I was like, Oh, I might just try and add my other one. I added it, then I used my face ID and opened it and I was in!”

Who is Clementine Ford and why is she beefing with Abbie Chatfield?

If you’ve been chronically online over the past weekend, you may have noticed that two prominent Australian women have been feuding online, with Abbie Chatfield hitting back at Clementine Ford after finding out the “dehumanising” things the Aussie author and activist had been saying about her.

Calling out Clementine for calling her a “narcissist” amongst other things, Abbie eventually broke down in tears over some of Clementine’s claims. “It’s all so hurtful and I don’t know where it’s come from,” Abbie said in a series of Instagram Stories.

Influencer watchdog account Dutchminty posted a screenshot about the feud. Image: Instagram/Dutchyminty.

Who is Clementine Ford?

Clementine Ford is an Australian feminist writer and activist known for her views on gender equality, misogyny, and social justice. She’s the author of four books: Fight Like A Girl, Boys Will Be Boys, I Don’t: The Case Against Marriage, and How We Love: Notes on a Life.

Clementine rose to fame with her role as a columnist for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, as she tackled issues like misogyny, mental health, online harassment, consent and rape culture, and gender inequality in a direct and unapologetic tone.

As well as her work as a columnist and author, Clementine has given Tedx Talks, appeared on panels and shows like ABC’s Q&A, and hosted her own podcasts Dear Clementine and Untethered. She often uses her social media platforms to call out influential figures, target misogyny and harassment, and bring awareness to social issues.

In recent years, she has used her platform to highly the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and criticise political parties and the media for their complicity and bias.

What exactly is going on between Clementine Ford and Abbie Chatfield?

Clementine recently publicly criticised Abbie, accusing her of performative activism. In one of her Substack newsletters titled ‘The Deep Dive: Trad Wives, liberal white women and the appeal of fascism to both’, Clementine mentioned Abbie, saying:

“This is why we have Australian influencers like Abbie Chatfield profiting from the performance of being politically engaged and presenting herself as a voice of feminist and political authority, while railing against anyone who demands more from her than shallow aphorisms and platforming genocide supporters. Everyone who criticises her is an idiot. They clearly don’t understand how things work. They have no strategy. They’re being mean to her. They’re jealous of her podcast and her university degree. She’s hotter than them. Everyone who disagrees with her is a troll.”

Abbie has since said she’s had people send her various things Clementine’s said about her, claiming that Clementine has attacked Abbie’s character numerous times in Instagram comments and threads, as well as her Substack.

Abbie said Clementine can criticise her work anytime she wants, but begged the outspoken feminist to stop “lying” about her character. “You can criticise my content, but I am begging you to stop lying about my intentions and stop saying I have a personality disorder, this is so fucking triggering, I just want it to stop,” Abbie cried.

The two weren’t always on bad terms, with Abbie interviewing Clementine back in 2020 for her podcast It’s A Lot.

“Abbie gets to interview someone she greatly admires and fan girls along the way, Clementine Ford,” the podcast description reads. “Abbie and Clementine answer some questions about having sex while being insecure (for various reasons) and then do a deep dive into the male gaze.”

Clementine is yet to publicly address Abbie’s latest Instagram Stories.

Farmer Jarrad’s band defends star against claims he was on the show for the wrong reasons

With rumours also swirling that the 22-year-old Farmer and Chloe were unable to make it work on the outside, some Farmer Wants A Wife viewers have taken to TikTok and Facebook groups to speculate whether Farmer Jarrad was on the show to further his music career.

One of Farmer Jarrad’s bands, The Filthy Animals, have uploaded some videos of the singer on TikTok, where some fans have been quick to question his motives.

“So this is his ulterior motive for going on Farmer Wants A Wife, self promotion,” one person commented. “NAHHHH, he’d SURELY have his groupies, so why the need to be on Farmer Wants A Wife?!” another said.

“Surely he didn’t have to go on TV to find a wife… just sing to me and I’m yours,” one hopeful person commented.

Farmer Jarrad’s band defends star: ‘We don’t want him tarnished’

The Filthy Animals, the band Jarrad sometimes performs with, have told Chattr that Jarrad is a good guy and that he “definitely lives and works on a farm”.

“We can’t speak for Jarrad other than to say, working with him, we’ve found him to be respectful, reliable and a damn fine talent we are proud to have in our band. His vocals add a different flavour to our songs which we love!” the band said in a statement to Chattr.

“Jarrad definitely lives and works on a farm and is older and wiser than his years. It’s The Filthy Animals [who] have been sharing these music videos not Jarrad…we don’t want him tarnished with a tag for only being on the show for his music career because of anything we’ve done to promote him as part of our band …He’s a good guy and we love working with him.”

Are Jarrad and Chloe still together in real life?

Rumours are currently rife that the young couple haven’t made it work on the outside, but of course we won’t know for sure until the Farmer Wants A Wife reunion airs.

The Daily Mail recently reported that Jarrad was out and about in January 2025, not long after filming, with a source saying he was acting like a single man.

“He didn’t act like someone in a relationship,” the person said, saying they saw Jarrad at a country music gig in Tamworth. “He was chatting up women left and right. He even joked about being ‘done with dating shows.’ Honestly, it seemed like he was single or just didn’t care who saw.”

Another source told the publication they had also encountered Jarrad out and about, saying he had a “flirty” demeanour.

Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Farmer Wants A Wife’s Daisy reveals what Clarette is really like: ‘Villain edit’

There’s one Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 contestant who has polarised viewers, and that’s Farmer Thomas front-runner Clarette. She’s upfront, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she is head-over-heels for Thomas.

Former FWAW star Daisy Lamb believes Clarette is getting a “villain edit” and tells Chattr what she’s like in real life. Spoiler alert: she’s not like what producers are portraying on screen!

“I’ve spoken to Clarette, I’ve spoken to a couple of the girls from Thomas’ farm as well, who’ve said that she’s lovely,” Daisy reveals. “She’s a literature teacher, you know, so she’s a really lovely person.”

The former reality TV contestant believes that production takes advantage of women who know what they want out of Farmer Wants A Wife.

“If they’ve got someone that goes in there [who] knows what they want, they’re there for the right reasons. They’re here to find love, they want to spend time with the farmer. Then [production can] grab that person and they’ll go, yeah, right. We can make her look jealous, we can make her look needy, we can make her look clingy,” Daisy explains.

“They just run with the strongest personality, and then they’ll make that into the villain.”

It’s a reality TV playbook as old as time, and viewers are starting to smarten up and understand they’re being manipulated. With MAFS contestants like Olivia Frazer warning about how harmful a “villain edit” can be, it’s time for something to change.

How has FWAW’s Clarette reacted to the backlash?

Daisy says Clarette is finding it tough to watch Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 — as it’s similar to what she went through last year.

“She’s watching all of these [episodes] as Australia watches them. We don’t get to preview the episodes. We don’t get to see how our faces look or how our reactions are,” she says.

“I’ve spoken to her. She’s quite distraught with the edit that she’s getting, and I can understand that, you know, like I remember it myself and it was awful,” Daisy adds. “It took a little while — you’ve got to remember who you are, and you’ve got to be so strong in your values, and remember that you are a good person.”

In the end, it’s an entertainment show, and more drama equals more ratings. It would be great if it weren’t at the expense of women trying to find love, but for now, let’s just keep in mind there are real people behind the screen.

Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Farmer Wants A Wife 2025: We’ve uncovered proof that suggests Clarette has moved to Farmer Thomas’ farm

Calling all Farmer Wants A Wife 2025 fans, we have a MAJOR spoiler for you! Since the show was filmed a while ago, all the Ladies have been chatting about who ends up with whom.

Former FWAW contestant Daisy Lamb revealed some news in an interview with Chattr, including who Farmer Thomas picks as his winner. This is HUGE.

If you don’t want to spoil the show, move along now. This is your final spoiler warning!

It appears that Thomas picked Clarette as his Farmer Wants A Wife winner, and rumour has it that they’re still together today.

“Clarette ends up with Thomas,” Daisy tells Chattr

“I do think they’re still together [since the show ended]. I was told by a couple of the girls from Thomas’ farm that Clarette is actually living at the farm. She is a teacher, so I’m assuming that she’s relocated and she’s working at a school there.”

Proof Clarette has moved to be with Farmer Thomas

Chattr has uncovered proof that Clarette has started a job as a teacher at a school in Wudinna near Farmer Thomas, meaning she has likely relocated to be with him.

In a newsletter released this year, Assistant Principal-Secondary Jamiee Bensen wrote: “I would like to welcome Clarette into our Secondary Teaching cohort for 2025. Clarette (Miss G) joins us from New South Wales and originally from England.

“She is a specialist English teacher and we look forward to the expertise she will bring to our classes.”

This means Clarette’s strategy of going after what she wants in a confident way has paid off — she got what she came for. Considering the show’s great track record of creating long-lasting couples, Clarette and Thomas might be the real deal.

Who were Farmer Thomas’ original ladies on FWAW?

Farmer Thomas originally invited front-runner Claire, Clarette, Ellen, Nathania and Rachael to his farm. Claire decided to leave in episode four — even though she had a strong connection with Thomas — and Nat was cut in episode three.

However, while just Clarette, Ellen and Rachael remain, Thomas will be meeting a batch of intruder ladies during Monday night’s episode: Jess, Laura, Tayla and Kirrin.

If he ends up with Clarette, he must not have much of a spark with the new arrivals! We’ll have to wait and see this all play out on screen.

Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Georgie Tunny on how House Hunters Australia can help buyers in the ‘abysmal’ housing market

House Hunters has landed in Australia for the first time, and TV personality Georgie Tunny is the voice behind the series. Georgie is narrating the new series, which follows Australian couples as they tour three homes and hopefully land on their dream residence.

However, having recently bought her first place and regularly reporting on the housing crisis for The Project, Georgie knows firsthand just how challenging the market really is. In an interview with Chattr, she said that she hopes that the cast’s journeys on House Hunters Australia can help potential buyers in the real world.

“I hope people see it as something that is a bit hopeful at this time, because it is really hard, there’s no getting away from it. The housing market right now is abysmal for so many people trying to crack in. It’s so stressful, and it really isn’t even an option for a lot of people.

“I hope that people can watch this series, and maybe get a renewed sense of hope — that ‘hang on a second, maybe that can be in my future. If I go through that, what would I do or not do? What mistakes would I try not to make?'”

“Essentially, because it just is really disheartening at the moment. So I think that [House Hunters Australia] can offer a bit of escapism, but also some real-world tips too.”

Georgie Tunny’s advice for home buyers

Georgie and her fiance, Rob Mills bought their first home together in Melbourne in 2021, and Georgie called the process a “second full time job”.

“I’m 34, so I grew up never thinking that I would get into the property market. I actually didn’t think I’d ever be able to afford a house,” she said.

“I remember it being a really stressful time. I wish we had a little bit more fun with it, and maybe even had a bit more patience, too. There was definitely a sense of we’ve got to get in, otherwise we’ll never be able to get in. And while that may have been true, I wish we had taken a few more breaths to think about exactly what we were looking for in a house.”

Georgie Tunny with her partner Rob Mills.

Among the houses that potential House Hunters Australia buyers visit are plenty of fixer-uppers—houses that have potential but need maintenance work and renovations.

Georgie said that from her own home-buying experience, she’d recommend buyers to evaluate the costs and time that goes into houses that aren’t key turns.

“Something I’ve learned through our own house hunting experience, but through the show too, is really to think about whether or not you want to commit to a fixer-upper, and think about realistically what can be done.

“Especially at the moment, building costs, everything has just gotten astronomically expensive, and I don’t see it going down anytime soon. It just seems to be all demand and not really so much supply right now.”

A fixer-upper on House Hunters Australia.
A fixer-upper on House Hunters Australia. Image: Ten.

Georgie reflected on the toll renovating her own fixer-upper has taken over the years.

“When we bought our property, we were definitely future-focused, being like, ‘Oh yes, in a few years, we could do this. We could extend here. It has so much potential’, and it does.

“But then, you add a few years down the track and find out whether or not it’s realistic anymore that you can actually afford to do all the things that you dreamt of — financially or even just emotionally, the time and money and energy that goes into that, it can be really it can be really hard.”

We’re sure Georgie will have some invaluable input as a narrator if any of the House Hunters Australia buyers decide on a fixer-upper!

House Hunters Australia premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 8:15pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

MasterChef Australia 2025: What happens to all the leftover food?

There’s one question MasterChef Australia: Back To Win 2025 fans are all asking: what happens to the leftover food?

A viewer recently pointed out that for every single challenge, the cooks open up new bags of rice, bottles of salt, oil and more — instead of using the previously opened items. So, what does production do with all the food that’s barely touched?

MasterChef Australia 2024 contestant Juan De La Cruz tells Chattr production actively looks to “prevent food waste” on set, and combats this in a number of ways.

“Sometimes lots of food is donated to a charity called Second Chance and also the staff behind the cameras takes some [home],” Juan reveals. “I also remember sometimes by the end of the week, all the fresh food from the pantry such as veggies, fruits and even some meat was up for grabs. So we would take ingredients to practice ideas during the weekend.”

He tells us that after the very first challenge, he was left with a bunch of cheese balls that didn’t get served to the judges. Apparently, they were a hot item in the MasterChef Australia kitchen!

“The production team [told me the] next day that they fought for them,” he says cheekily.

Juan on MasterChef

Why don’t MasterChef Australia 2025 contestants reuse pantry ingredients?

It’s a little bit strange that the MasterChef Australia 2025 contestants have to open a new bottle of oil for each challenge, but Juan says there’s a simple explanation.

“Opening a new package gives a same start level to everyone,” he says. “Think humidity in the flour, or even contamination from other ingredients that could ruin recipes.

“Ultimately, the judges will eat this food, and they want to prevent any type of contamination.”

Makes sense. With so many mysterious disappearances on MasterChef Australia already, we don’t want to see the judges get sick and go missing either!

MasterChef Australia airs on Sunday at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

MAFS 2025: Carina breaks silence on romance rumours after spicy video goes viral

The Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 cast have been busy partying it up at club appearances, but one video of Carina Mirable has fans speculating about her love life.

In the sultry clip — which has racked up almost two million views on social media — Carina was seen dancing with a mystery man at Alumbra in Melbourne, leading people to wonder… is this a new MAFS romance?!

However, Carina tells Chattr the pair are just friends and there’s no chance for love between the two.

“I am very single, working on myself, and just doing me for now. No man in my life,” she spills.

“The guy I was dancing with is one of my [bisexual] guy friends. I adore and have so much enjoyment and much rather dance with [queer men] than straight men, they have all given me the ick.”

When Chattr asks if she’s back on the dating apps looking for her next Paul Antoine, she dismisses that idea completely.

“[I’m] not on any dating apps. Just letting the universe take control and lead the way,” she says.

Who was the man dancing with Carina Mirabile at Alumbra in Melbourne?

It didn’t take long before Carina’s mystery man commented on the viral video, revealing himself to be Anthony Blachford

His Instagram bio lists him as the director of Anthony Presents, a “creative agency specialising in nightlife events, influencer marketing, and premium private event services”. He also appears to be associated with Alumbra, Social Supper and The Albion Rooftop.

Carina isn’t the only reality TV star from 2025 that he’s friends with, as he also has a link to Australian Survivor cast member Kate Gloufchis. She’s a professional DJ alongside FBoy Island’s Sophie Blackley, so they run in the same circles!

Kate recently had a surprise party thrown for her by Sophie, and Anthony was on the guest list.

Wonder if we’ll see some reality TV crossover events happening in the future? We’ll have to wait and see!

It looks as though MAFS 2025’s Jacqui has been sending herself money on a ‘fan donation’ site

It appears that Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 participant Jacqui Burfoot has been sprung donating to her own fan page, calling herself her very own “favourite bride of all time”.

The polarising 2025 star has kickstarted a Buymeacoffee.com account, with the bio, “Cameo Queen, Hot Mess, Reality TV Star, A lil cray cray, Former Lawyer, Dog Mum & recently engaged!!”

So far, there’s only been one supporter, with that supporter looking like it’s Jacqui herself — otherwise, a passionate fan sporting the exact same name.

“Thank you for all the laughs. You were our favourite bride of all time. Never a dull moment!” the comment from ‘Jacqui Burfoot’ read.

At the time of writing, the reality star hasn’t addressed this hot mess.

Jacqui’s post-MAFS career kick-off as former lawyer ups Cameo price to $75.95 per video

With Jacqui moving into her now-fiancé Clint Rice’s Tasmanian mansion not long after MAFS finished filming, she’s been busy plugging away at her jewellery business, amassing over 90k followers on that account while her personal Instagram page has been under lock and key by Channel Nine.

Jacqui has also seen massive success on Cameo, raising her price for personalised video messages to $75.95 per video, due to increasing demand. She currently boasts a 5-star rating on the platform with 143 people leaving reviews.

“Jacqui was self-deprecating, hilarious and delivered the video right on time,” one happy buyer said, with another sharing that Jacqui did a fake-cry upon request.

“Jacqui did exactly as I requested – the crying was brilliant! The message was happy, genuine and funny – my friend will absolutely love it. Jacqui did a quick turnaround and made sure it was ready on time to gift on my friend’s birthday this morning,” they wrote.

Look, ya gotta love a girlboss.

We’ve found Farmer Wants A Wife 2025’s Clarette’s old modelling shots

Farmer Wants A Wife star Clarette Annalisa has polarised fans of the show this season as she competes to win Farmer Thomas’ heart, with some people not liking her direct approach to dating the farmer.

While we’re yet to see which way Farmer Thomas will go when it comes to his choices, there’s no denying Clarette has garnered slightly more screentime than Farmer Thomas’ other Ladies, with people online also speculating the show is attempting to give her the “villain” edit. But more on that soon!

For now, it’s time to dive into the past. Call us investigative journalists here at Chattr, but we stumbled across Clarette’s old modelling photos from before her foray into farm life.

Farmer Wants A Wife’s Clarette’s old modelling photos unearthed

Before people start accusing her of chasing fame and fortune, it must be noted Clarette hasn’t been active on the modelling site since 2009 and would’ve been in her late teens when she uploaded the pics. Let’s be real, most of us have had that awkward social media era.

So enjoy these flashback photos of the once-aspiring model.

“I am [a] professional and a very determined person, when I put my mind to something I never give up!” Clarette’s bio read. “I am not afraid of hard work and love meeting new people.”

“I have always wanted to do modelling and have a passion for fashion, photography and make-up,” the profile continued, before citing she also had some runway expertise and was interesting in partaking in bridal shoots.

Why do people not like Farmer Wants A Wife’s Clarette?

Clarette has been very straightforward in her pursuit of Thomas, but it’s rubbed some fans up the wrong way, with many believing she doesn’t have genuine intentions.

“She’s jealous and she doesn’t like to lose,” one person said on a Farmer Wants A Wife Facebook thread. “Not sure if i like her or her personality can’t see her coping with the farm life,” another said, with someone else agreeing, “[It’s] like she is in a competition to “win” rather than find love. I doubt that she would be suited to farm life longterm.”

Other fans have stepped in to defend her from nasty comments. “We all know this show is heavily edited. Why do we keep falling for this and painting someone out to be the villain when we don’t even know her?” someone pointed out. “Stop falling for the producers’ tricks.”

Former Farmer Wants A Wife contestant Ellen Dunger also joined in on a Facebook thread with her own thoughts. “They often get images from different parts of a scene and mash them together to make it look like she’s feeling a certain way at a certain point,” Ellen explained. “Chances are, it was a different part. I honestly believe they are Frankenbiting her to make her the villain this year.”

Are Farmer Wants A Wife’s Jarrad and Chloe still together?

Farmer Wants a Wife has indisputably had the most successful track record when it comes to Australian reality dating shows, with 11 marriages and 27 kids born from the hit series.

In tonight’s episode, Farmer Jarrad made a shocking decision to cut his journey short, after saying goodbye to two of his Ladies during the May 6 episode.

Deciding to meet the families of his remaining two Ladies, Ash and Chloe, Jarrod decided it was time to take the plunge and decide once and for all, telling Chloe that he was falling for her.

The signs were, perhaps, there all along – Chloe had initially won the first 24-hour date and had already been serenaded by the aspiring musician, with their connection only getting stronger over time.

Here’s how it all went down.

Farmer Jarrad’s final decision: ‘Go together like cold beer and country music’

Despite being the youngest Farmer, Jarrad was nothing but intentional when it came to his dating process, quickly cutting out girls until he was left with only Chloe and Ash by episode six.

In that episode, Jarrad met both the girls’ families before making his final decision after Chloe opened up to him with a heartfelt letter.

“We go together like cold beer and country music,” a teary Jarrad told Chloe. “I need you to know I’ll do my best to be better every day, because from this point on, I’d love to spend every day with you.”

As the two celebrated, Jarrad joyfully exclaimed to the camera, “I think it’s fair to say that yeah, this Farmer may have found a wife!”

Are Jarrad and Chloe still together in real life?

While Farmer Jarrad and Chloe appeared to get their happy ending on Farmer Wants a Wife, it’s not clear whether the couple are still together outside of the show.

To officially find out whether Jarrad and Chloe made it in the real world, we’ll have to wait until the FWAW Reunion episode. However, some fans aren’t convinced about Jarrad’s intentions on the show.

“I think Jarrad is more attracted to the thought of a recording contract than the ladies,” one person wrote on a FWAW Facebook group.

“Jarrad is not a farmer, nor is he looking for a wife IMO. Just wants to pursue a music career [and] get his head on TV,” another penned.

On top of that, Chloe doesn’t follow Jarrad on Instagram, which we’re hoping is just to avoid spoilers for viewers.

Rumours circulate Jarrad is single after “flirty” appearance earlier this year

The Daily Mail recently reported that Jarrad was out and about in January 2025, not long after filming, with a source saying he was acting like a single man.

“He didn’t act like someone in a relationship,” the person said, saying they saw Jarrad at a country music gig in Tamworth. “He was chatting up women left and right. He even joked about being ‘done with dating shows.’ Honestly, it seemed like he was single or just didn’t care who saw.”

Another source told the publication they had also encountered Jarrad out and about, saying he had a “flirty” demeanour.

“There was no mention of a girlfriend. He was pretty flirty. If he’s still with the girl from the show, he’s got a strange way of showing it,” they said.

Ooft. Here’s hoping these are all just rumours!

Love Triangle 2025 star hits back at Mike Gunner’s claims he was ‘bullied’ by cast

As Love Triangle 2025 draws to an end, Chloe Hannigan has hit back at former MAFS groom Mike Gunner’s claims that he felt bullied by the rest of the Love Triangle Season 3 cast.

Mike had previously told Chattr that he felt he had been bullied at the dinner parties, saying, “Let’s not mess around, I was getting attacked more than what you saw, [they] came at me hard,” he divulged. “I was getting bullied.”

Mike specifically called out the women within the Love Triangle experiment for the bullying and said the group dynamic reminded him of his school days when he was bullied as a child, labelling the cast “really, really mean”.

“They were brutal to me. No sooner had I addressed the concerns of one person and their attack, somebody else had a different angle. It was just this rapid fire, like I was under fire and getting bullied,” he said.

Love Triangle’s Chloe addresses Mike’s “bullying” claims

Speaking with Chattr, when asked about Mike’s bullying accusation, Chloe said she feels as though the women did not bully Mike, and that from her perspective, it was the women “sticking up” for themselves.

“Look, bullying is a very serious accusation. It’s not a term I take lightly at all, and it and it makes me feel very sad that he felt that way,” Chloe said. “All I can say is that any form of group discussion aimed towards Mike has been shown in the episodes. So everything that you see is everything that happened when it comes to Mike, and I think that it wasn’t an attack. It was maybe us sticking up for ourselves.”

Chloe then addressed the infamous moment Mike called her “irritating” after she tried to defend his first match, Melinda, in a group conversation.

“I was called irritating for sticking up for a woman who was not there to stick up for herself. So I’m not going to go and say that I’ve been bullied by Mike. I don’t think that word matches what I experienced. And I can’t say that that’s not how he feels. If that’s how he feels, then I feel very sad for that. But I definitely do not feel as though we bullied him in any way, shape or form. We just called him out for his behaviour,” she continued.

Love Triangle’s Chloe reveals a surprise moment when watching show back

When we asked if watching anything back on the show had surprised her, Chloe mentioned another moment during that dinner party where Mike called her irritating that she didn’t see unfold at the time.

“What does stick out to me is Melissa [Mike’s second match] sticking up for me at that second party, I had actually heard her speaking to Mike from across the table, and I heard her say the word ‘irritating’, and my first instinct was that she was agreeing with Mike and also calling me irritating,” Chloe said.

“So I sat there going, ‘Oh no, now she’s calling me irritating. This is just a nightmare.’ But actually seeing some things through the reunion and seeing her sticking up for me was so lovely, I appreciate that so much.”
