It was Feedback Week on Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2025, and naturally, Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly found a way to give us whiplash, with Jacqui penning an absolutely brutal feedback letter to her husband.

Lucky for us, in true Jacqui fashion, she went completely rogue and dropped nearly the entire Feedback Week letter to Ryan on social media. And it’s a lot.

In the Insta post, Jacqui claimed she only had 10 minutes to write the letter, but wasted no time in compiling what her partner-swap husband Jeff Gobbels pretty aptly described as “two and a half pages of negative stuff about the relationship.”

While some of the text was crossed out (which is no fun), the remaining Feedback Week letter paints a rather *concerning* picture for Jacqui and Ryan.

What does Jacqui’s Feedback Week letter say?

Let’s start with the good because, yes, surprisingly there was some.

“Dear Ryan,

“The good. I love how much fun we can have even after an issue is solved,” Jacqui’s letter to Ryan begins.

“We may move forward at different paces, but you balance me out and take things slower at times. I love taking photos with you, videos, reading tarot, creating content, and dancing/being a goofball. You don’t judge and don’t take yourself too seriously either. I couldn’t dream of a better content partner.”

“Our shared entertainment interests are a match made in heaven. You take an interest in my love of fashion and let me help dress you. We both put in our 100% effort, are genuine, and have more resilience than 10 ordinary people. You make me smile a lot and genuinely want to make me happy. Your heart tries its best.”

Sweet, right? Well, that’s where the niceties end.

The *Concerns*

Jacqui’s seemingly unending list of “concerns” is where things really take a turn.

She starts off with money woes:

“Ryan, I am concerned that you don’t have a stable and predictable career. I am concerned that you financially contribute less and I will be the primary breadwinner, putting you in a place you don’t want to be — the primary caregiver.”

She also has strong feelings about Ryan’s masculinity complex:

“I am concerned you have built your sense of self on top of outdated beliefs about power and masculinity. Your extreme sense of masculine pride and fragile ego are difficult to deal with and come at my expense. When your ego or masculinity dominance is challenged, you overreact, escalate conflict, and create chaos that deflects from the original nerve hit.” Oof.

But it doesn’t stop there!

Jacqui accuses Ryan of using her as a “punching bag” whenever his dominance is questioned. She also calls out his rigid views on gender roles and “problematic” beliefs about stay-at-home dads.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get more brutal:

“I still haven’t seen any critical thinking skills from you. I need you to always be open to questioning your own beliefs and start with the assumption you aren’t and nobody is perfect. We have 50 years plus to learn and get things right, and even then, we can die still being unsure. My biggest love fear is marrying a man that ends up stubborn and stuck in his own ways as the world moves on.”

She also hits him with this line, which is honestly hilarious:

“Your opinions might be wrong and that’s okay — in fact, a lot of yours need some more work.”

But wait, there’s more!

In the post, Jacqui teased that she’ll be uploading a video of herself reading it out loud in case anyone can’t read her handwriting.

Meanwhile, Ryan didn’t take the criticism lightly, firing back in the episode: “I will never be a stay-at-home dad. It’s insulting for you to think you’d even consider that.”

Apparently, he “want[s] to leave a legacy.”

Okay, Ryan, best of luck with that. And best of luck to both of them, because it sure looks like they’re going to need it!

Married at First Sight (MAFS) star Domenica Calarco has dropped some major news — she’s pregnant, and expecting her first child!

Domenica, who appeared on the 2022 season of MAFS, took to socials on Wednesday 12 March to spill the exciting news. Here’s everything we know so far!

Domenica Calarco shares her pregnancy update

Domenica shared the news with her followers with an adorable video montage, sharing snapshots of her pregnancy journey.

The video featured a sonogram, the emotional moment she found out she was expecting, and heartwarming reactions from her family and friends, all set to But Daddy I Love Him by Taylor Swift. Aw!

“Been a little MIA working on my greatest project yet…..Baby” she wrote, revealing that the bub is due on September 2025.

Domenica hints at breakup, says she’ll be “co-parenting”

Domenica recently addressed speculation about her relationship status in an Instagram story where she noted that she’ll be “welcoming this baby as a solo parent”.

“I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity,” she added.

None of Domenica’s social posts so far have directly mentioned her most recent boyfriend, Jarod Bogunovich, so while many might assume he’s the father, there’s no official confirmation yet.

Rumours of their split surfaced last week after a TikTok comment hinted that she and Jarod may have called it quits.

Designer and influencer Sasha Morpeth posted a TikTok with the caption, “Reconnecting with nature because I hard launched a guy and it was over before the IG story expired”. Domenica recently commented on it, saying, “Join the club babes, argh.”

Domenica and Jarod hard-launched their romance back in September 2024, as Domenica introduced Jarod to the world with a sweet Insta post captioned, “Bit of life #updates.”

The carousel included a loved-up snap of the couple plus a cheeky hint — a skateboard and two pairs of feet, with one rocking checkered Vans.

Earlier that month, Domenica had posted a TikTok mentioning she got a pair of checkered Vans from a “fuck buddy”. Turns out that buddy was something a little more serious!

Fast forward to a month later, and Jarod took things to the next level by getting a tattoo dedicated to Domenica — a champagne bottle with the name ‘Dom’ on it, also like the luxury French champagne Dom Pérignon. Clever.

The ink might be small, but the message was loud and clear at the time. But, hey, things change.

Baby daddy aside, the exciting news comes after a tough time for the MAFS alum last year, which saw her cancelling her podcast and going through a high-profile fallout with former bestie Ella Ding.

But now, things are looking up, and 2025 is shaping up to be her biggest year yet!

The couple are firmly on the rocks, with the pair’s connection disintegrating after the partner swap task. They choose to enter the Dinner Party separately, with Jamie calling out Dave’s behaviour and breaking down into tears.

Jamie hints at some drama going down between Dave and her sister, without spoiling too much.

“[Dave’s] got my sister to deal with,” she laughs. “People think I’m bad. My sister’s way worse.

“I’m hurt. My sister’s hurt. We’re very protective of each other,” she adds. “At this point, she just wants to be [a] mother bear with her cub. That was the style, I think, that was going on.

“It’s going to be informative.”

Dave agrees, saying that Homestays was a “pivotal moment” for their relationship.

“We have to figure out a lot [at Homestays]. Like coming off what’s happened and then moving onto Homestays, it’s a very big task,” he says.

“We’re sort of figuring [it] out and getting the feels for what’s going to happen.”

Jamie explains controversial MAFS decision

There have been rumours about Final Task Week which takes place after Homestays, with one source telling Chattr that Jamie opts to meet an alternative match, but he ghosts her. 

Jamie explains that she was “hurt” by what went down with Dave, which contributed to her making this choice.

“I wish I was in a better place before I made a decision,” she says. “I was dealing with a lot of hurt [and] rejection and kind of losing hope, and I wanted to be able to remind myself why I was partnered with Dave.”

“I was hoping to go into it and get that clarity and that encouragement… I didn’t go in with [the] intention of starting something with someone else. I was very clear in that, that’s not how I operate.”

“It looked like Eden and James are together now. They didn’t leave each other’s sides all night. They were all over each other the entire time, dancing, buying each other drinks at the bar, whispering in each other’s ears,” a fan claimed.

“They were all over each other, it was weird to see to be honest,” they added. “I’m not sure if they were dating, but they did look pretty comfortable.”

When Chattr reached out to Eden for comment, she said the rumours weren’t true.

“I’m single,” she said. “We definitely weren’t all over each other. I’d never hook up with someone in a club and I certainly don’t dance.” 

James agreed, telling Chattr that the pair are friends through Teejay.

“There’s nothing really to say! They’re just rumours… [we] were out all Friday so that was it really. I’m [definitely] single and in no [relationship at the moment],” he said.

James and Eden are following each other on Instagram, which seems like a bold move. Haven’t they heard of finstas, if they were wanting to keep this on the down low?!

At this stage, they haven’t shared each other on their socials, so there hasn’t been a soft launch. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled though!

Does Eden Harper still speak to her MAFS ex Jayden Eynaud?

Eden revealed in April 2024 that she no longer speaks to her MAFS ex Jayden Eynaud after he dumped her.

“[The breakup] was completely out of the blue for me, a bit of a blindside I suppose… it was just like a normal night. And he just said, ‘Yeah, I’m done’,” she said.

“I wanted to have a friendship and to be civil, but yeah, he hasn’t responded. This must just be the way he deals with things, I suppose.”

Now, Josh Fox from the MAFS Funny podcast, has just announced that Safework NSW is officially investigating the MAFS producers. Safework NSW is the official government workplace health and safety regulator, so this is a big deal.

“Safework NSW has now launched an official investigation into the bosses and the producers of the show following several complaints from participants,” he said on TikTok.

“I’m told that cast members are being interviewed, some of them want financial compensation, and the producers will sit down with SafeWork NSW on Wednesday I believe, where they will receive a request for all unedited footage,” he added.

“This is kind of the point that I’ve been getting to about the producers went that little bit too far this year and this kind of feels like it was inevitable because every year they push things further, and further, and further.”

Has John Walsh from EndemolShine Australia resigned?

MAFS 2025 bride Jacqui Burfoot shared a TikTok where she revealed a rumour about MAFS executive producer John Walsh.

“Justice is on its way, ESA are officially getting investigated and apparently I heard through the grapevine that John Walsh has resigned, he’s the executive producer of MAFS,” she claimed.

“They’re investigating all the breaches of human rights including little things like they record us when we use the toilet… we don’t have a choice,” she alleged. “We’re not allowed to leave after certain hours and if you do break the rules, they make the rules even stricter.”

This seems to be the first year that contestants have taken to official channels to complain and lodge complaints about the show, rather than just speaking up through social media and interviews. It will definitely be interesting to see how the popular reality TV show is impacted going forward.
