Every Survivor: Australia v The World cast member who’s joined the Jury Villa

Survivor: Australia v The World has delivered shock early exits, denying some big names a spot in Jury Villa.

Typically, on Australian Survivor, the last ten remaining players are sent to the Jury Villa, where they will live together while the rest of the season is filmed and attend each Tribal Council. At the end of the season, those jury members vote for the winner.

Because Australia v The World is a shorter season, players started joining the jury immediately after Merge, meaning there will be six or seven players voting at the end — depending on whether the finale is made up of a final two or final three.

Read on to find out who’s in the Survivor: Australia v The World Jury Villa so far, and what they’re looking for in a winner.

Shonee Bowtell

Aussie icon Shonee Bowtell missed out on a spot at Final Tribal Council again, after she struggled to find a footing in the game in the form of a number one ally.

Shonee predicts that Cirie could miss out on a spot in the Final 3, meaning Luke, Janine and Parvati will be sitting pretty at the end. “I think the game’s going to have to change because they’ve made a promise,” she told the Drop Your Buffs podcast. “Perhaps Janine and Cirie might go to a fire challenge, sending Cirie home.”

So, who will Shonee be voting for? “Definitely willing to hear what people are saying, but at the moment, I will be voting for Parvati,” she revealed. “And that would be iconic as well, because you know, she’s back in Samoa, like I feel like it would be a really full circle, healing moment for her.”

Lisa Holmes

Lisa on Survivor

Survivor New Zealand winner Lisa Holmes (nee Stanger) was added to the jury after her elimination during episode 8. It’s the first time Lisa’s weighed in on the final decision, considering she won her season with a vote of 4-3-0.

It sounds like if Cirie makes it to the finale, she’ll have Lisa’s vote.

“If Cirie wins, it might be better than me winning,” Lisa said in her Drop Your Buffs interview. “I know it’s a ridiculous thing to say, and maybe people don’t understand.”

“I absolutely loved her from her first season, and every time she’s come back, she’s managed to do magic. I’m a bit like her — she’s not like me — I’m a bit like her, we’re both not super physical, people underestimate us,” she explained.

Tommi Manninen

Tommi Manninen was the fourth person to join the jury after receiving a unanimous vote against him during a double elimination episode.

During his Drop Your Buffs episode on 10Play, he said that despite not making any massive moves, Lisa has a slight chance of receiving Jury votes and winning the season if she makes it to the finale.

“Everyone loves underdogs, and Lisa is now the biggest underdog, so if she can pull some kind of miracle out of it and she’s going to be the one who is choosing someone to come with her to the final, then maybe, but it’s a big if,” he said.

Kassandre Bastarache

Kass on Survivor: Australia v the world

Kassandre Bastarache was the third person to join the Survivor: Australia v The World Jury after using her Immunity Idol to protect her alliance member, Lisa.

Kirby Bentley

Kirby Bentley became the second castaway sent to the Survivor: Australia v The World Jury Villa, where she was joined by her former ride-or-die turned rival, Sarah — a pairing that likely made for an awkward stay.

During an interview with Chattr, Kirby said that as a jury member, she won’t hold any personal grudges and will vote for who she thinks has played the smartest.

“[I’m looking for the] best game, big moves, whatever that looks like. You’ve got big targets and if you can get through it without somebody mentioning your name, that’s an incredible achievement in itself. But yeah, no grudges.”

Sarah Tileke

Sarah on Survivor: Australia v The World has joined the jury villa
Sarah on Survivor: Australia v The World. Image: Ten.

Sarah Tileke was the fifth person eliminated from Survivor: Australia v The World and the first jury member. During her Drop Your Buffs interview, Sarah said she already knows exactly what she’s looking for in a winner.

“What I want in a winner is what I was trying to set out to do at the start — not very well — but to set some rules. I want players to get to the end who had some rules for themselves set up at the start, and then I want to see how they really strategically stayed true to those initial kind of no-go zones, but then also played outside of the box, and didn’t just ride the easy vote to the end,” she said.

Who missed out on being part of the Australian Survivor Jury?

The first four players eliminated from Survivor: Australia v The World missed out on joining the Jury Villa. They were Survivor South Africa winner Rob Bentele, Australian Survivor winner David Genat, self-proclaimed king of the jungle George Mladenov and two-time Survivor US winner Tony Vlachos.

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

MKR 2025: Who are Anne and Maree?

My Kitchen Rules 2025 is back to show us homegrown cooks can do it just as good as professional chefs, and one team ready to compete for the $100,000 prize money is mother-daughter duo Anne and Maree.

The Greek goddesses are bringing a splash of Europe to the MKR dining experience, ready to embrace all of Australia into their big Greek family.

Everything we know about My Kitchen Rules’ Anne and Maree

To Anne and Maree, cooking is more than just a tradition: it’s “love, legacy and a tribute” to their family.

Expect high energy and entertainment from the mother and daughter, with their dynamic described as “non-stop singing, dancing, and laughing”.

MKR's Anne and Maree

Anne is a former beautician who won’t settle for anything less than perfect. Maree, is a mum of three and an accomplished singer, who describes her mum and her Yia-yia as her “biggest role models”.

Their secret weapon is a handwritten cookbook passed down from Anne’s late mother, with the team ready to pay tribute to Yia-yia’s legacy. And if Colin Fassnidge’s words are anything to go by in the promo, we have high hopes for the pair. “This is seasoned with love… I thought I was in Greece,” Colin is seen saying.

The dynamic duo dream of turning Yia-yia’s traditional Greek recipes into a cookbook to share with the world one day.

What happened during Anne and Maree’s cook on MKR?

MKR Anne and Maree
Anne and Maree started strong. Image: Seven

Anne and Maree picked up the first 10 of the competition, with Colin praising their entrée of Chargrilled Octopus with Spanakorizo as a “perfect” dish.

After a strong start, unfortunately for the duo their main dish of Chicken and Lamb Souvlakia with Pita and Tzatzikididn’t hit the same mark, with the judges both thinking there were too many elements. And Anne’s dessert, handed down from her mother, scored a six from both judges.

The Orange Semolina Cake with Chocolate and Candied Orange held deep sentimental value, and while the judges appreciated the simplicity and lightness of the dish, they questioned whether it was a competitive enough dessert.

Anne and Maree ended up scoring 44/60 from Colin and Manu, and 34/50 from the other MKR participants, bringing their total to 78/110, falling one point short of Justin and Will’s debut cook.

Watch Anne and Maree’s MKR promo below:

Who else is competing in MKR 2025?

There will be six teams competing in MKR 2025; Justin and Will, Anne and Maree, feisty cousins Mel and Jacinta, ambitious friends Maria and Bailey, lifelong besties Lol and Lil, and couple Michael and Reilli. Read more about them here.

My Kitchen Rules (MKR) airs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

MKR 2025: Who are best mates Will and Justin?

My Kitchen Rules 2025 has kicked off with a bang with the first cooking duo Justin Rolleston and Will Mataka taking centre stage.

The pair first met through their wives and became fast friends, bonded by their love of family, sport and food. The best mates were the first MKR contestants of 2025 to impress judges Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel, as well as the rest of the contestants, with their home cooking.

Everything we know about My Kitchen Rules’ Will and Justin

MKR 2025 Justin and Will
Justin and Will have been mates for over a decade. Image: Seven

Some fans may recognise Will! He’s a former NRL player, who used to play for the West Tigers and Sydney Roosters and also represented Tonga in 2009.

Will brings a calm and collected energy to the kitchen and is inspired by his Tongan heritage, ready to craft dishes that reflect his culture.

Justin is a gym owner and foodie who gained an Instagram presence after creating videos for his gym clients. He’s described as “delightfully messy” in the kitchen, so is the chaos to Will’s calm, but is ready to shake things up by incorporating his South African heritage.

The two dads met over 12 years ago, forming a friendship after their wives introduced them. Justin describes the duo as “passionate and competitive, but in sync” while Will says, “Love one day, hate the next, but always committed to each other in the kitchen”.

What happened during Will and Justin’s cook on MKR?

As the first cab off the rank, the duo had a tough job in front of them, vying to impress the judges as wel as the other new contestants.

The best mates served up Ota Ika (Ceviche) with Taro crisps as their entreé, before spicing things up with their main of Red Duck Curry with Coconut rice. For dessert, Justin sourced it straight from his roots, with the duo opting for a Cape Malay Koeksister (South African fried doughnut) with spice syrup.

The entreé was praised for the texture, but the judges were looking for more “heat”, both awarding it a score of six. However, the curry took centre focus, with Colin calling it “near perfect” and Manu saying it was a “wonderful, ballsy curry”. Both judges scored the dish a 9.

The traditional dessert divided opinions, but Justin and Will’s total score from the judges was 42/60, with the teams giving them a score of 37, for a grand total of 79/110.

The Block’s Mat defends Han and Can dinner snub: ‘Kindly uninvited by myself’

All of the cast headed out for dinner organised by Robby and Mat during Monday night’s The Block 2025 episode, except for Han and Can, who weren’t invited because they were both sick with a cold.

While Han and Can said in a producer-led interview that they wished they’d been included and could have been “adults” and said no because of their illness, Mat defended his and Robby’s decision, pointing out that Emma was pregnant and Robby’s one-year-old son would be there.

“The girls were so sick, and all their builders were so sick, and they weren’t allowed to come,” Mat told Chattr.

“They were kindly uninvited by myself, and I’ll take responsibility for it. The thing is, number one, there’s a pregnant lady at the table. Number two, there’s baby Brooks (Robby’s son). But, number three, we’re all building, and we can’t afford to be crook or not on site.”

“If I was sick, I just wouldn’t put other people in a vulnerable position,” he added.

Mat said it was a no-brainer to exclude the girls from the event to prevent their cold from spreading to other contestants, loved ones, and the builders. He related it back to his and Robby’s careers as hairdressers.

“I’ve got no qualms at all about saying someone, ‘Hey, I think maybe it’s best sitting this one out’. Because, being a hairdresser, you cannot afford to get sick. If you get sick, you’re cancelling 30, 40, 50 people, but then you’re already fully booked the next week, so you can’t fit those people in.

“The thing is, it’s the same on a building site. We can’t afford to have one or two days a bit slower than another day, or to not be on site, or for our builders to get sick.”

Mat told Han and Can that they couldn’t come to the cast dinner because of their colds

Mat explained that not inviting the girls to the team dinner wasn’t personal, and he said he told them directly.

“They knew the reason why, and I was very polite with the way that I said it. I’m not mean and I’m not nasty or anything like that. I think you’ll probably see in this week how sick they actually were with the coughing and all that sort of stuff.”

Reflecting on how he told he girls they couldn’t come, Mat said it’s hard to remember exactly, because that moment was filmed back in March or April.

“To be honest, it would have been to their face,” he said. “It was such a passing thing that you just started to realise that people are going to make a deal about it, but I can honestly say it would have been to their face 100%.

“I would have gone up to them and said, How are you feeling? Do you feel like you’re well enough to be sitting at a table in this situation? So I wouldn’t have got like, I would have put it back on them.”

The Block 2025 airs on Sundays at 7:30pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The Block fans are calling for major change in show: ‘Insufferable’

The Block fans have taken to social media to call for a major change in the show, after dubbing the latest season “boring”.

Season 21 got off to a slightly slower start in terms of drama, but has started to deliver, particularly with last week’s cheating scandal.

However, viewers are tiring of one thing when it comes to the series and they’re calling for a major change.

The Block fans demand new judges: ‘Trying too hard’

On Reddit, Blockheads are discussing that the show could use its very own makeover, by introducing new judges. Currently, the judges are the same as last year’s season, with Shaynna Blaze, Marty Fox, and Darren Palmer in the roles. Marty replaced Neale Whitaker for Season 20, in 2024.

“Is it just me, or are the judges insufferable?” one person asked. “Personally, I would love to see fresh new eyes.”

“If they were to keep anyone, it has to be Darren. Shaynna is insufferable, literally the most annoying person on TV, and Marty is just so fake,” someone complained, with someone else saying, “Shaynna talking about rooms having an identity crisis is rich considering we’ve seen her catastrophe of a house.”

“Keep Darren, add a female builder, and replace Fox with a much less arrogant and smug real estate agent… if that’s possible,” another suggested, with someone else also advocating for Darren. “Marty is trying too hard to be the harsh critic, Shaynna is out of touch and tends to focus on meaningless things like minor design choices that are easily interchangeable. I don’t mind Darren too much,” they said.

Some defended the judges, but others wished for a Neale Whitaker reappearance.

“Darren explaining the height issue between everything being slightly different levels was actually interesting. Everything else that came out of their mouths [Sunday night] was an ad or utter bullshit that didn’t reflect how people actually use houses when they’re not in magazines,” someone commented.

Others came through with their own suggestions about how the show should switch things up. “Should be an interior designer, a builder and a real estate agent so they assess workmanship, saleability and design,” someone said. “I miss Neale,” someone else simply stated.

The Block 2025 airs on Sundays at 7:30pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

A DeuxMoi blind item about Survivor hints at a Jonathan LaPaglia return

A blind item posted by the popular entertainment Instagram account DeuxMoi has suggested that there are some big changes coming to both Survivor US and Australian Survivor.

The account, which notably posts gossip items that often aren’t verified or confirmed, so take the following with a grain of salt, said that Australian Survivor will air in the US as it’s released in Australia.

It also noted that the US series will be increased from 26 days to 39 days, and it will be scaled back to one season per year, rather than two. The gossip piece added that Australia would produce an international season each year, much like the current Survivor: Australia v The World.

“Paramount Global is in conversations around restructuring Survivor between the US and Australian networks (CBS and 10),” the blind reads.

“The format they’re working towards will see: – US Survivor returning to the old-era format (39 days, destination locations, etc) based on a single season order per year, to air in H1. The H2 slot would be replaced with Australian Survivor (airing date-and-date with Australia).

Jonathan LaPaglia and Tony Vlachos on Survivor: Australia v the World.

“In addition to their regular season, Australia will continue to produce a global format once per year, will air natively on 10 in Australia but will see simultaneous release on Paramount+ across all territories. The licensing would afford more players and a longer game (likely adopting US new era).

“There’s some licensing rights to untangle, but everything is moving fast, and they’re aiming to announce at the Paramount (AU) upfront in September.”

The blind item finished off by suggesting that current host Jonathan LaPaglia, who was recently fired and replaced with David Genat, could return to front one of the seasons.

“For the AU fans, the backlash around Jonathan being axed has VERY MUCH been noted and that’s priority #1 once the season orders and licensing are sorted.”

Fans respond to the potential changes to Survivor US and Australian Survivor

While the prospect of an extra season of Australian Survivor each year is exciting for fans down under, users on the Survivor subreddit remain sceptical — doubting that Survivor US would be reduced by a season or that Australian Survivor would ever air in a prime-time slot on a US network.

“Tough to believe Jeff would give away half the year to the Aussies in the name of changes he’s never seemed that interested in going back to,” one user wrote, referring to Survivor executive producer and host Jeff Probst, who had a hand in shortening the US iteration from 39 to 26 days in 2021.

All the Australian Survivor players who made merge
The Survivor: Australia v The World post-merge cast. Image: Ten.

“I don’t believe this, and I also don’t think I’d like it. Australian Survivor is so good right now and this would drastically change it bc CBS would not air 3 Survivor episodes per week during their broadcast season. Even if they were willing to air multiple episodes a week, it would almost definitely be the American version over the Australian version. Upside would be 39 day US season + JLP [Jonathan LaPaglia] returning to Aussie version, but that reads like fanfiction tbh. I find this super hard to believe,” another user wrote.

A third pointed out that DeuxMoi is notoriously known for posting gossip that doesn’t end up being true.

“I don’t know why anyone in this day and age believes anything DeuxMoi posts. They’re a modern-day National Enquirer without the aliens and Elvis spottings,” they wrote.

We guess we’ll know for sure next month, after the Channel 10 Upfronts!

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Aussie star Adam Demos shares devastating personal update: ‘My best mate’

Netflix star Adam Demos has shared a sad update with fans, announcing the death of his mother, Lindy after a long battle with Stage 4 cancer.

The UnREAL and Sex/Life star revealed his mother had initially been given one year to live when first diagnosed, and went on to fight the cancer for nearly 16 years.

Paying tribute to his mother, who raised Adam on her own, he called Lindy his “best mate” and “biggest inspiration” in an emotional Instagram post.

Read Adam Demos’ sweet tribute to his mum below:

“After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given a year to live, roughly 16 years later my mum has decided to take a much needed rest. The brightest and bravest soul there is, she was the truest example of how strong the human spirit can be. And how living with joy and love can defy the odds,” Adam wrote.

“She raised me on her own and it’s been her and I against it all and it’s my biggest privilege and honour to be her son. To take it all on together and that’s what we did. She’s my best mate and my biggest inspiration and she always will be. How blessed I am that she’s my mum, what a gift I got. I’m in a strange club now of only children whose parents have both passed. I don’t know what life looks like without her, I don’t need answers now. What I do know is I’m not alone, I have an abundance of love and support that I truly didn’t think was possible.”

Adam also went on to thank the medical staff who cared for his mum over the years.

“I can only speak of my experience but 16 years in and out of the health care system nonstop, we experienced nothing but kindness and incredible care. From the nurses to doctors, cleaners, admin etc you all keep us going and safe and I’m in awe of how you all do it. Thank you for doing what you do from the bottom of my heart.”

“The last week was traumatic to say the least but I’d like to say a special thank you to the team at Warrigal who looked after mum when she went on palliative care treatment. It was by far the hardest thing I’ll ever go through just myself and her for her last hours, but the way in which the staff treated spoke to and took care of my mum with such love respect and dignity is something I will never ever forget. It was the very best of what humanity can be in my opinion. Thank you for being so kind to my beautiful mother. Best thing I can do now is make sure I try and navigate life with the outlook and integrity she lived with, with the wonder and joy of it all and take her wherever I go. Thanks again to everyone who loved and supported my mum xxx”.

Hollywood stars and Aussie friends throw support behind Adam Demos

Adam’s beautiful tribute quickly garnered over 150,000 likes and thousands of comments, with many fans throwing their support behind the star.

“Sending an outpouring of love. She did a fantastic job raising you and she definitely accomplished the mission of living a life full of spirit, strength and endurance,” Christina Milian, Adam’s co-star in Netflix’s Falling Inn Love, wrote. “May you feel her with you forever and always.”

“What beautiful words about your incredible mum. Sending you all our love and biggest hugs as you ride all the feelings of grief and love. Just remember: a mother can always hear her babies, even when she is sound asleep xxx,” Aussie actress and radio star Christie Hayes wrote, with Aussie actor Luke Mitchell commenting, “Oh mate… sending so much love.”

“This made me cry. Your mother sounds like such an incredible, strong and inspiring woman. She will always stay with you. I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and sending you so much strength,” Isla Fisher commented.

Home and Away fans debunk rumour about fan favourite leaving

Home and Away fans have debunked a rumour that a fan favourite character is leaving Summer Bay after the show recently said a sad goodbye to long-standing character Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger).

Viewers started to speculate that after Irene’s departure, her BFF John Palmer (Shane Withington) would follow suit and depart the Bay.

However, eagle-eyed fans have now spotted Shane filming recent scenes on Palm Beach, decked out in John’s lifesaving gear.

“Now, those who kept saying that John has left because he’s sick? He must have a long-lost twin brother who was filming this week, aye?” one person uploaded in a popular Home and Away Facebook group.

Home and Away fans are thrilled John Palmer is still in the Bay

While Home and Away fans are used to devastating losses (I’m still mourning Felicity), it’s always good news when a character is sticking around for the foreseeable future.

“Glad to hear the rumours are not true,” one fan said. “His character is such a unique gem!!”

There were also rumours the show would be ending, which has also been debunked given the cast are currently filming scenes that will be aired in 2026.

“Thank you for putting my mind at rest,” another fan said. “I don’t want it [the show] to end and don’t want John to leave.”

“It came up on my newsfeed a couple of times [the show] was ending. I love the soap and always look forward to it. I’m glad John is not leaving,” another agreed.

Home and Away fans left ‘crying’ over return of fan favourite characters

Home and Away's Brax and Ricky
Brax and Ricky will return to our screens in 2026! Image: Seven

The news John is here to stay comes off the back of the show announcing last week two fan favourite characters will be returning for a brief story arc.

Brax (Stephen Peacocke) and Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) will return to screens in 2026 in a guest appearance that is due to be filmed shortly in WA in partnership with Tourism Western Australia.

Upon the announcement of his return, Stephen said, “When the producers asked if I’d revisit Brax, it felt like a fun opportunity – and one I think the audience will really enjoy. Filming in spectacular outback Western Australia is the icing on the cake, and we can’t wait to welcome one lucky UK fan and their guest onto set with us.”

Bonnie added, “Bringing Ricky back wasn’t something I’d ever expected, so I’m beyond thrilled to reunite with Steve and old friends at Home and Away. Exploring where Ricky and Brax are now, 10 years on, will make for a very special and compelling storyline – and I can’t wait for our WA filming adventure.”

Home and Away airs 7pm Monday to Thursday on Seven and 7plus.

MAFS star welcomes first child, reveals sweet name

Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Domenica Calarco has welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Dove. The Season 9 bride took to Instagram to share the happy news after giving birth on August 28.

“DOVE 28/08/2025,” Domenica shared in the caption, alongside a black and white photo, looking chic in a pair of sunglasses and smiling while breastfeeding baby Dove.

She also shared a bunch of snaps on her Instagram Stories, with Dove pictured next to some pastries from Dom’s favourite bakery, as well as another shot with Dove on her chest, and Dom showing off her new ‘Mama’ necklace.

Dom’s baby journey: MAFS star ’empowered’ to step into motherhood on her own terms

Dom first announced her pregnancy in March, sharing an emotional video showing her pregnancy test, her first ultrasound, and moments of telling her friends and family. “Been a little MIA working on my greatest project yet…..Baby 🐣 due September 2025,” Dom captioned the video.

Fans were quick to notice that she hadn’t mentioned her (now ex) partner, Jarod Bogunovich in the caption or video. Dom later revealed the pair had broken up, but would be co-parenting together.

In an Instagram statement, Dom said she was “incredibly excited” about the next chapter in her life, saying she felt empowered to step into motherhood on her own terms.

“I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity,” she added.

Jarod took to Instagram on March 19 saying that he was committed to co-parenting with Dom.

“As most of you already know, Dom and I are officially separated,” he wrote alongside an ultrasound video. “Moving forward, my main priority is our child and stepping into the role of a father with as much love and support as I can offer. I’m committed to co-parenting and ensuring my child’s well-being is always at the forefront.”

Jarod has since shared an Instagram Story cuddling baby Dove, set to Taylor Swift’s song ‘The Best Day’.

Has the Survivor: Aus v The World winner already leaked?

Survivor: Australia v The World is shaping up to be one of the most iconic seasons of the show ever, with powerful players like Parvati Shallow and Kirby Bentley going head-to-head. While fans have been doing their best to avoid spoilers, the winner of Survivor: Australia v The World may already have leaked.

The winner will walk away with $250,000 and bragging rights for life, and some players are after that coveted two-time winner title.

The Survivor: Australia v The World finale is coming up soon, and according to betting site Sportsbet, there’s a high chance we already know who will be the Sole Survivor.

The betting site predicts who has the best chance of winning, and while it’s not a done deal, they have a good track record when it comes to previous seasons. Earlier this year, Sportsbet had Australian Survivor’s Myles Kuah sitting with the best odds to win, and he ended up being our Sole Survivor.

Who has the best odds to win Survivor: Australia v The World?

Sportsbet currently has the remaining eight players ranked from most likely to win, to least likely to win. It’s not much of a surprise, but the predicted winner is Parvati, with odds of $1.83.

Luke Toki is hot on her heels, with pretty good odds of $3.25. His closest ally and fierce businesswoman, Janine Allis, is in third place, with odds of $4.33.

The rest of the cast seem less likely to win, with Cirie Fields having odds of $8.50 and Shonee Bowtell placing 6th with $11.

The international contingent trail behind with dire odds, with New Zealand’s Lisa Holmes sitting at odds of $17, with Kassandre Bastarache at $21 and Tommi Manninen at $26.

Who will be in the Survivor: Australia v The World top 3?

Interestingly, Sportsbet also has a category for the players most likely to make it to the final three. Australian Survivor usually has a final two, unlike the US version, but has switched it up in the past.

The players with the best odds to make it into the final three are Parvati ($1.25), Luke ($1.37), Janine ($1.50), Cirie ($2.25) and Shonee ($5.50). It’s not looking great for Lisa, Kassandre and Tommi.

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Survivor’s Kirby reveals what Shonee needs to do to win

Survivor: Australia v The World is hurtling through the season at an extremely fast pace, with the show consisting of only 10 episodes. Fan-favourite Shonee Bowtell has been targeted multiple times, yet has managed to dodge her way out of being voted off. Does she have what it takes to win?

Recent boot Kirby Bentley tells Chattr that Shonee’s strategy so far is “clever”, but believes the player needs to add more to her Survivor resume.

“If she can get somebody out, or lead a vote on somebody, and then start to make moves [or] find an idol, then play it… if she can start to then implement those things and make the finale and do what she does,” Kirby says.

“You consider everyone [as a potential winner], you don’t know what people have done, because obviously they’re all their own main characters until it’s shown in the end.”

As a Jury member, Kirby is looking for a winner who has made big moves — something Shonee is lacking at this stage.

“[I’m looking for the] best game, big moves. Whatever that looks like. And you’ve got obviously, big targets. If you can get through it without somebody mentioning your name, that’s an incredible achievement in itself,” she adds.

Who else could win Survivor: Australia v The World?

Kirby also has high praise for Parvati Shallow and Luke Toki, two massive personalities and threats in the game. Parvati and Luke have made it into the final eight alongside Shonee, Janine AllisLisa HolmesTommi ManninenKassandre Bastarache and Cirie Fields.

She calls Parvati “the best”, and admits she wants a “woman to win” the season. “She knows what she’s doing. She’s played how many? Five times, I think,” Kirby says.

“I [also] think Luke’s playing an incredible game. I think that he creates the chaos, [but] I feel like he’s fine-tuned,” she adds. “He was flexible, and he came to play, and he’s chaotic when he needs to be. And I think that he really found his balance and his maturity.”

We’ll have to wait and see what happens at Tribal Council!

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

The Block’s Han and Can defend their relationship: ‘Naturally fun, playful and affectionate’

Han and Can’s relationship has been put to the test on The Block 2025, and at times, it hasn’t always come out on top. Viewers have seen them argue over painting, disagree on styling choices and exchange more than a few sharp remarks.

However, Han and Can — who were dating for a year before they joined the show — told Chattr that there’s a very positive side to their relationship that they wish was shown on TV.

“We’re both naturally fun, playful, and affectionate when not under extreme pressure,” they said.

“We love to laugh, dream up ideas together, and bring those ideas to life. We’re both perfectionists and we take pride in creating something special, which meant during the show we were often so busy on site or on the road that our lighter moments happened late at night back in the vans.”

Han and Can were in a different position from the other teams — rather than having their own builder, they had a chippy named Ben. That meant Han was taking on the extra workload that a builder normally would.

“What viewers may not realise is that Ben wasn’t a builder, he was a chippy even though they are calling him a ‘builder for the purpose of the show. Before we went on the show, production told us that we ‘don’t need a builder, you just need a good chippy’. So, I ended being the builder and stepping into the role of managing the build, trades, making calls, placing orders, and making countless daily decisions,” Han told Chattr.

Looking back, Han and Can said they would have brought a builder on board from day one — not only to ease the workload, but also to reduce stress and allow them to support each other more positively throughout the competition.

“If we had our time again, we’d have a bigger team and start the show with a builder to take some of the pressure off and allow us to enjoy those moments more often,” they said.

Do Han and Can get along with the rest of The Block cast?

While The Block 2025 has sparked plenty of strong friendships among the cast, viewers have noticed that Han and Can have kept to themselves, sometimes even skipping group outings.

“I feel so bad for the girl. They are wound so tight and cry a lot. I think if they let the other contestants in it might help,” one person wrote on Facebook.

However, despite how it may appear, Can told Chattr that they have a great relationship with all of the other Blockheads.

“We genuinely got along with everyone and see the cast as a little family. We even stayed together in an Airbnb after filming and got matching tattoos at the launch! Later in the season, we became especially close with Sonny and Leesh. We supported each other through the highs and lows and built a bond based on genuine care,” she said.

We love to hear it!

The Block 2025 airs on Sundays at 7:30pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Survivor: Australia v The World finale: Everything you need to know

The world’s shortest (and arguably best) season of Survivor is already wrapping up, with the Survivor: Australia v The World finale just around the corner.

Despite only premiering on August 17, this all-star edition has flown by with just ten jam-packed episodes, a sharp contrast to the usual 24-episode run of Australian Survivor.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Survivor: Australia v The World finale.

When will the Survivor: Australia v The World finale air?

While there isn’t an official date for the finale, it’s looking like it will air on Sunday, September 7.

We already know that this season has 10 episodes, and, according to the TV guide, episode 9 airs on September 2. The Amazing Race Australia premieres on Channel 10 on September 8 — meaning that the Sunday slot looks to be in the Australian Survivor finale.

Who will be in the Survivor: Australia v The World finale?

At the time of writing, there are eight players still in the running to be crowned the Sole Survivor, they are Luke Toki, Janine Allis, Parvati Shallow, Shonee Bowtell, Lisa Holmes, Tommi Manninen, Kassandre Bastarache and Cirie Fields.

The season has seen George Mladenov, David Genat, Rob Bentele and Tony Vlachos become early boots, and Sarah Tileke and Kirby Bentley were eliminated post-merge and sent to the jury villa.

Will there be a final two or final three?

In both the international and Australian versions of Survivor, the finale comes down to either two or three contestants at the Final Tribal Council. There, they make their case to the jury, who ultimately crown the winner with their votes.

The last time Australian Survivor saw a final three at Tribal Council was in 2022. However, there’s no word whether this season will stick with the recent final two format, or revert back to the final three.

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

5 of Parvati’s greatest Survivor moves ever: from her double Idol play to Ozzy’s blindside

Parvati Shallow is absolutely dominating Survivor: Australia v The World alongside her closest ally, Cirie Fields. For some Aussie viewers who aren’t familiar with her game, this might have come as a surprise. However, Parvati is one of the greatest Survivor players ever — and some of her moves on Survivor US have gone down in history.

From creating the first all-women’s alliance to convincing a player to give up Immunity, this challenge beast is strategic, social and someone you don’t want to mess with.

Let’s take a look at Parvati’s best-ever Survivor moves over the years.

Parvati Shallow’s double Idol play in Survivor: Heroes v Villains

Parvati was in the hot seat once she got to merge in Survivor: Heroes v Villains, with JT Thomas and the original Heroes tribe coming for her head. At Tribal Council, her closest ally Russell Hantz believed Parvati was in danger, so he gave her his Immunity Idol, meaning she was in possession of two.

She had such a good read on the game that she played two Immunity Idols — one for Sandra Twine and the other for Jerri Manthey, rather than herself. Her gamble paid off, with the original Heroes placing five votes on Jerri, which did not count. JT went home with his tail between his legs, being outwitted, outsmarted, and outplayed by Parvati.

Parvati forms The Black Widow Brigade in Survivor: Micronesia

Parvati is truly a girls’ girl. The Survivor player gravitated towards Alexis Jones, Natalie Bolton and Amanda Kimmel and created The Black Widow Brigade — the first all-women’s alliance. Cirie joined later, and the rest is history.

Ozzy’s blindside in Survivor: Micronesia

Ozzy being blindsided on Survivor
Ozzy was bitter. Image: CBS

Ozzy Lusth was the first victim of Parvati’s Black Widow Brigade in Survivor: Micronesia. After Cirie floated the idea of blindsiding Ozzy, Parvati managed to convince him to leave his Immunity Idol back at camp, because he trusted Parvati completely. Ozzy was furious with Parvati at the Final Tribal Council, and refused to hear her out.

The Black Widow Brigade convinces Erik to give up Immunity in Survivor: Micronesia

For the all-women’s alliance on Survivor: Micronesia to work, the women needed the remaining men to fail during all of the Individual Immunity challenges. When Erik Reichenbach had the Immunity necklace, Cirie came up with a complicated plan to convince Erik to give it up. At Tribal Council, Parvati turned on the charm, helping to manipulate Erik into giving his necklace to Natalie Bolton, and then he was promptly voted off.

Parvati’s domination of Survivor: Australia v The World

Parvati has proven she’s still a challenge beast in the latest season of Survivor. Image: 10

So far, on Survivor: Australia v The World, Parvati has managed to stay safe — even though she was viewed as one of the biggest threats from the very beginning. She’s controlled the vote through multiple Tribal Councils, and isn’t afraid to change the plan — Tony Vlachos found out the hard way.

Her Kirby Bentley blindside allowed her to continue having control of Survivor: Australia v The World, with five remaining World Tribe members, and just three remaining Aussie Tribe members. The preview of Sunday night’s episode looks like Parvati is about to make a massive move involving her hidden Immunity Idol, so we might be adding more to this list shortly.

Survivor: Australia v The World airs at 7pm on Sundays, and 7:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Sonny and Alicia reveal which The Block judge is the harshest

Every Sunday on The Block, judges Marty Fox, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer inspect the contestants’ latest rooms — often delivering stinging critiques, with the occasional compliment thrown in.

While not a single team has escaped the judges’ wrath this season, Sonny and Alicia know all too well how brutal they can be, after Marty described their main bedroom as a dated “Southbank” apartment.

So, which judge do they think is the harshest?

“Marty Fox comes for us the hardest every week. But look, he comes for everyone pretty hard,” Sonny told Chattr.

He added that while the judges’ feedback isn’t always glowing, they don’t determine the winner — that all comes down to auction day and which house fetches the highest price.

Darren and Marty judging Alicia and Sonny's room.

“We love our room. We love what’s there. And, at the end of the day, you’ve got to dust yourself off and go again for another week. The thing is, the judges hold your fate in their hands for that week, but they don’t hold your fate in their hands for the whole show. Each week to week, they do their judging, and they have their opinion, but it’s not to necessarily say that they’re the be-all and end-all, and completely right either.”

Alicia added that while it’s “gut-wrenching” to hear bad feedback about a room she and Sonny poured so much love and effort into, she said they try to stay focused on why they joined The Block in the first place.

“We support each other as best as we can, and just remind ourselves of why we’re there. Ultimately, we’re there for our kids and to enjoy the experience — the good, the bad and the ugly. So, it’s all part of the Block roller coaster.”

How do The Block auctions work?

After all the teams finish renovating their houses, each is given a reserve price. In the past, the reserve has varied depending on the size of the houses. However, as every house this year has identical layouts, they should all sit at around the same mark.

On auction day, whatever the houses sell for over the reserve, contestants get to take home. And, the house that makes the highest amount over reserve scores an extra $100,000 prize money and is crowned the winner of The Block.

The Block 2025 airs on Sundays at 7:30pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

MAFS’ Jono overshares about ‘constipation’ and toilet habits due to new diet

The last thing you’d expect to see when opening Instagram is a video detailing Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Jono McCulloch‘s current bowel movements, but here we are. The reality TV star is sharing intimate details about his health on Instagram, as he attempts to stick to the “carnivore diet” for two weeks — where he can only eat eggs, butter and meat.

Jono tells Chattr he embarked on this strict diet because he had some health concerns, like “reflux, brain fog and poor sleep”. His girlfriend Ellie Dix is supportive, but is worried about Jono potentially “losing too much weight”.

“I think Lucinda [Light] mentioned it’s TMI [to talk about my toilet habits] which I get… [but] I don’t give a sh*t — pun intended. We are all adults and a lot of people won’t do [the] carnivore [diet] as they feel they will become constipated. Wanted to spread the word this isn’t the case as I feared that too,” he explains.

In one of Jono’s videos, he admitted that he hadn’t visited the toilet after two days of being on the carnivore diet.

“[It felt] very concerning! Well, it just doesn’t feel right. In reality, it’s not harmful or dangerous you just have to get used to it,” he adds.

He didn’t have to worry, because the next day, he visited the toilet three times. “I was worried about constipation but got the opposite! Narrowly avoided disaster pants a few times today (if you know you know),” he wrote on Instagram.

While it looks like he’s struggling when it comes to lack of variety in food choices, overall, Jono is pretty positive about everything.

“It’s actually really easy. You don’t eat as much or go to the bathroom as much,” he says. “[My] mental clarity and alertness have increased. [I] don’t get tired during the day, [I’m] sleeping better [and have] no reflux.”

What is the carnivore diet?

The first record of the carnivore diet was in 1856, after German writer Bernard Moncriff spent a year consuming only milk and beef. In recent history, the fad diet gained popularity in 2018, after orthopaedic surgeon Shawn Baker penned the book The Carnivore Diet.

Jono shared a clip of his food shop at the start of his carnivore diet challenge. He purchased 48 pasturised eggs, 20 steaks, grass-fed butter, and 12 grass-fed meat patties.

The carnivore diet itself is controversial, with some experts saying there are many health risks that come with cutting out all carbohydrates and vegetables.

“Dietary fibre is noticeably absent from a carnivore diet. This is a problem because a low-fibre diet can increase your risk of diabetes, heart disease and some cancers,” Deakin University’s Katherine Livingstone told The Conversation.

“The strongest evidence shows eating a diet rich in whole plant foods, such as fruit and vegetables, with a moderate amount of lean and unprocessed red meat, poultry and fish is good for our health.”

The MAFS star’s carnivore diet experiment will finish on Sunday, so no doubt he will update us on his results, experience… and toilet habits. Something to look forward to!

You can stream Married At First Sight on 9Now.

Home and Away’s Rebecca Breeds shares secret to her successful marriage with Luke Mitchell

Australia fell in love with Rebecca Breeds and Luke Mitchell‘s love story in 2009, after the young actors met on Home and Away, playing Ruby Buckton and Romeo Smith. While the pair didn’t get their happily-ever-after on the soap — Luke’s character was destined to be with Samara Weaving‘s Indi Walker — the real-life couple have gone from strength to strength.

The former Home and Away stars tied the knot in 2013, and welcomed their first child together in 2025. Rebecca tells Chattr that the day after their wedding, the pair got on a plane to Los Angeles for pilot season to try and carve out a career in Hollywood.

“I went from only living in Sydney my whole life to all of a sudden living on the other side of the world, and [Luke] was my home. He became my home, and I was his,” she tells us. “And no matter what happened in the States and what jobs were coming and going, and where we were, he was now my home.”

The couple have made a name for themselves overseas, with Rebecca starring in shows like Clarice and Pretty Little Liars, and Luke making his mark in Chicago Med, Blindspot and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But aside from the pair considering each other their “safety net” and “support” network, what makes their relationship work is the fact they consider it more important and precious than any TV or film role.

“We keep checking in with each other and go, ‘You still having fun? Is this cool? Like, you good?’,” Rebecca says. “Because if not, we’ll go home. We’ll open a cafe on a beach somewhere, and you know, have a laugh [or] whatever. We don’t have to do this.

“We’ve always said that at the end of the day, we love what we do, but who we are is more important as individuals and as a couple, and our promise to each other, our commitment to each other, needs to be the priority.”

Home and Away’s Rebecca Breeds’ relationship advice

Rebecca is currently living in Chicago with Luke and calls their life an “adventure”. From jumping on a plane together the day after their wedding to welcoming their first baby in the US, she says everything they’ve gone through has strengthened their relationship.

“I say we’re stronger than ever, and appreciate each other more than ever,” she gushes. “We’re best friends, but also we so believe in each other and [are] always cheering each other on.”

“I think it’s just checking in with each other and being really conversational and having [a] really nice, respectful, open line of communication [with] each other,” Rebecca reveals. “I think [that] has been really helpful.”

The Hollywood star has been busy promoting her new Australian movie Kangaroo Island, so would the Home and Away star be interested in coming back to Sydney to reprise her role as Ruby Buckton? According to Rebecca, she’d say “hell yeah” if the soap came calling. It’s what we all want — justice for Ruby!

Home and Away airs Mondays – Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.

Here’s what we know about MAFS 2026 so far including the cast and controversies

Married At First Sight 2026 may be a long while off, but already the cast is making headlines before they even become household names.

From a couple already being kicked off the show, to one of the “wildest brides ever” the 2026 season of MAFS looks like it’s going to bring explosive drama our way.

While we can only hope for a Jeff and Rhi love story again (or a Jacqui and Clint?) it’ll be a while until we find out.

But here’s everything we know about the 2026 MAFS cast so far.

Gia Fleur

Described as the “wildest bride in MAFS history”, Gia is set to bring the entertainment and shock value to Season 13. She was spotted marrying Scott McCristal on Maroubra Beach in July 2025. Gia already has over 30,000 Instagram followers, so needless to say we predict post-MAFS she’ll be living her best influencer life.

Rebecca Zukowski

Another alleged wild bride, according to the Daily Mail, Rebecca was caught in an explosive moment on camera where she allegedly had a heated confrontation with one of her bridesmaids, accusing her of trying to upstage her on her wedding day.

Rachel Gilmore

Melbourne-based recruitment consultant Rachel Gilmore is known for her big energy and people skills, but otherwise very little is known about her. Maybe she’s one of the most chill brides for Season 13?

Alissa Fay

Already a well-known TikTok influencer with over 270,000 followers, Alissa is no stranger to the public eye. She split with a long-term partner last year, and is said to be one of this season’s “breakout stars”.

Brook Crompton

Model Brook Compton is said to be a “social butterfly with a fiercely loyal streak”. When she’s not modelling, Brook works as a talent acquisition specialist.

Julia Vogl

Julia is a former journalist turned confidence coach who has worked for The Project, as well as Channel Nine and Foxtel. She used to be an entertainment correspondent, interviewing celebrities like Cher, Kate Winslet and Matthew McConaughey.

Melissa Akbay

Melissa hails from Canberra and is said to be ‘fiercely loyal, but has no patience for pretence’. The Daily Mail also reported that her marriage may also be on the rocks after she was spotted solo after the couples moved in, looking deep in thought while munching on a Kit Kat chunky.

Bec Zacharia

Touted as one of Adelaide’s most recognisable socialites, Bec carved out a successful career in London real estate before returning home to her family in Adelaide.

Stella

Very little is known about Sydney-based Stella, other than the fact she was papped out with her MAFS husband Filip recently. You can peep the pics here.

Grayson McIvor

Grayson apparently enjoys the finer things in life and owns a recruitment agency on the Gold Coast, with friends saying he has a taste for luxury but is a supportive friend.

Steve Powell

The kind of guy who’s friends with everyone, Steve loves travel and adventure and is known for his cheeky sense of humour.

Scott McCristal

Scott isn’t a stranger to reality TV, having appeared on Million Dollar Island, game show Blind Date, and ABC’s Holey Moley.

Friends say he’s cheeky, flirty and likes to push boundaries.

Luke Fourniotis

Luke already has a decent social media following on Instagram and TikTok due to his tongue-in-cheek and relatable videos, with his dog Mika being a big star of the show. He’s apparently wholesome and genuine, and we sure hope that’s true given the track record of many MAFS grooms.

Chris Neild

Chris is a former AFL player who is described as humble and hardworking. However, the MAFS groom very recently has been accused of threatening journalist and creator of MAFSfunny Josh Fox. Fox claimed, that Chris pulled him aside at Sydney venue Icebergs and said if Josh showed up to his wedding he would “put him in a headlock and physically assault him”.

Daniel Hewitt

Another 2026 MAFS groom in hot water, real estate agent Daniel Hewitt allegedly threatened to smash journalist (and paparazzi) Ben McDonald’s, camera.

Filip Gregov

Filip is a motivational speaker and an “educational content creator” for men, and subtly announced his MAFS casting in a recent YouTube video titled ‘Goodbye for now’. “A few opportunities have come up, but it involves me taking time from YouTube to go and do these things, which you will be able to see in the future,” he said in the five-minute video.

David Momoh

David isn’t shy being in front of the camera, with the former rapper now working as an entrepreneur. He’s hosted his own YouTube dating show, ‘Pop or Fall In Love’, and sources told The Daily Mail that David could be the season’s dark horse. “He’s not the loudest, but he’s one of the smartest,” they said.

Who got kicked off MAFS 2026?

Micah Lomu and Cricket Australia presenter Ankita Karungalekar were removed from the show following multiple women coming forward about Micah’s past behaviour. Some women took to TikTok to share their experiences, urging producers to take action, which led to the two’s storyline being cut from filming post-wedding.

Ankita has since returned to Instagram, uploading a photo of her MAFS wedding day with the caption, “Don’t shush me up.”

Ankita still follows Micah, who also uploaded his wedding snaps at a similar time, including a tile in his grid post that said, ‘Real Eyes, Realise, Real Lies’.

MAFS Intruders: MAFS 2026 set to feature same-sex couple

MAFS 2026 is set to bring in four intruder couples, including a same-sex couple, according to The Daily Mail.

Personal trainer Chris Robinson from Sydney and fitness model and trainer Sam Staunton from Adelaide, sound like they could be a match made in fitness heaven! The pair married late-August in an intruder wedding, but according to sources, the pair have been asked to “ride it out until the end”.

“They were told from the get-go that they need to create drama and keep it flowing,” one source told the Daily Mail. “Even if they don’t hit it off romantically, they’ve been asked to ride it out until the end of filming.”

What else do we know about MAFS 2026?

Relationship expert John Aiken told Yahoo Lifestyle at the 2025 Logie Awards that the upcoming season would be “complex”. “We’re gonna have a lot of twists and turns, and we have a lot of strong women on the show this year,” John said.

All three experts are returning, with Alessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling joining John for the epic 13th season.

MAFS 2026 is touted to be one of the most dramatic seasons yet, with the Daily Mail also reporting that participants are being drug-tested weekly for the first time in the show’s history and that tighter restrictions are also being put on the cast, including hotel key cards being deactivated after hours.

Gogglebox’s Mia, Lainey and Bree on the moments they’ve cringed at watching back

Gogglebox Australia is returning for Season 22, and to celebrate their fourth season, Mia, Lainey and Bree have reflected on some of their wildest moments.

During an interview with Chattr, Bree and Lainey said that the trio’s blend of personalities keeps their commentary fresh and interesting.

However, because of their years of friendship and the fact that Mia and Bree are sisters, the women sometimes forget that they’re being filmed, which leads to some shocking moments when they watch the show back.

“There are always moments where, because we say things in the moment, and because we’re not overthinking it, we kind of forget by the time it goes to air. So then when we watch it back and we’re like, Oh my gosh. I can’t believe that actually came out of our mouths. But in the moment, it’s just what feels right and natural. So we’re not overthinking it.”

Bree agreed, saying that she often finds herself surprised by her commentary when she watches the episode back.

“There are definitely dumb things that I’ve personally said, being like, Oh my God, I don’t even remember saying that. And that actually came out of my mouth,” she laughed.

Lainey explained that moments like that normally happen when they’re watching reality TV and a really juicy scene happens.

“I feel like even the random little comments we make about a few TV personalities that we struggle to watch. I think sometimes we’ll say things and then we’re like, Oh no, that was actually really mean.”

What can viewers expect from the new season of Gogglebox Australia Season 22?

Gogglebox Australia‘s newest instalment will air on August 28 on Channel 10 and 10Play. Season 22 will see all of the previous season’s cast return, which Bree and Lainey said is the beauty of this season.

When the Gogglebox cast members were asked to describe the upcoming season in three words, they opted for unhinged, familiar and fun.

“I feel like [viewers] can expect the unexpected,” Lainey said. “There’ll be the classics that everyone knows and loves, and then I think there’ll be a few fun surprises this season.”

Stream Gogglebox Australia Season 22 on Channel 10 and 10Play from August 28.
