Recap — Episode 12: There was absolute drama and chaos in the city on Farmer Wants a Wife

With the sun rising on the final day of the farm stays, only two ladies remain at each farm, meaning our farmers are closer to finding their forever person. And if the preview for episode 12 of Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 are anything to go by, there’s drama afoot.

While the Farmers tell us they all have “big decisions” to make, on Farmer Brenton’s farm, Rachel and Sophie are talking to their collective bae about Jemma’s exit.

Sophie questions Rachel about Jemma pulling her aside for “a chat”, which Rachel said was “tough to talk about”. Sophie, meanwhile, felt awkies about it, knowing that Jemma was talking about her.

“I don’t know where it came from,” Rachel said, adding that she was “protecting” Sophie about what was really said and also herself.

“I don’t know why Soph is acting so confident,” she told the cameras.

Over in Cootamundra on Farmer Brad’s farm, he admits the “connection” he shares with both Morgan and Clare are strong, but his only doubt with Morgan is that she’s a “city slicker”.

Morgan admits that she like Brad “more and more” and he tells her that “things between us are pretty strong”.

Meanwhile, in Poizieres on Farmer David’s farm, he says that Lorelei is “incredible” but wants her to open up more. He takes her berry picking and they talk about their future.

“I think you’re pretty amazing,” she tells him but later, to the cameras, she says she’s afraid of “getting hurt”.

She then tells him that it has taken her awhile to open up and he admits that it might be “too much” for her.

Lorelei and David. Seven

Farmer Brenton and Rachel spend some QT together and he asks her if she has “enjoyed” her time. He said that his family and friends “loved Rach”, but he’s worried that she’s not ready to pack up her life.

She reassures him that she really likes him and is ready but his connection with Sophie is “holding me back a little bit”.

Farmer Matt reveals he has some “life-changing” news to share

On Farmer Matt’s farm in Bookham, he says that he can see a future with both Annabelle and Olivia and Annabelle says that Matt and the farm is like a “fairytale”. Olivia, on the other hand, hopes that she’s found her “forever partner”.

Then… Farmer Matt drops a bombshell. He has some “fairly life-changing news to share”.

After an agonising ad break, Farmer Matt reveals that his dad has suggested he have a “fallback” for him away from the farm.

“I’ve recently been looking at jobs in the Department of Ag [Agriculture] in Canberra. I will be leaving the farm and moving to Canberra with the eventuality of coming back onto the farm.

“I plan to one day take over the farm, just not yet.” Bro. This is not Canberrian Wants a Wife.

Annabelle, Farmer Matt and Olivia. Seven

Annabelle calls it a “shock”, but says she is prepared to work in Canberra because she works in “hotels”; however, Olivia is a little quiet and it worries Farmer Matt.

Farmer Brenton and Annabelle spend some time together and she says she wants someone “who loves me”.

“You’ll find someone like that, Soph,” he says and what a male response!

He worries that the farm won’t be enough for her.

Clare and Farmer Brenton talk about how they’re “going” but he says it’s pretty clear that their “vibe” when they’re together is great, but admits he knows she’s struggled with the whole experience.

She says she wants “this to work more than anything in my life”.

Clare and Farmer Brad. Seven.

Farmer David and Emily also spend some final one-on-one time together and Emily admits it feels “very real”. She says she can picture herself being with David and living on the farm.

Farmer Matt chats to Olivia on his grandfather’s swing, worried about the bombshell he dropped.

She said it wasn’t what she was “expecting”.

“I feel at peace on the farm but I feel like the main source of my peace is just you,” she tells him. Awww!

The farmstays draw to a close and the Farmers and the Ladies head to the “big smoke”

The Ladies and Farmers start packing to leave the farm.

“Everything would be complete if I got my love story from this experience,” Morgan says as she farewells Farmer Brad’s farm.

Lorelei breaks down in tears thinking she may never see Farmer David’s farm again.

Once in Sydney, it’s a change of pace for the Farmers and the Ladies meet for a rooftop bevvy.

Sophie. Seven

Olivia and Sophie find solace in one another and Olivia reveals she has time in the mornings with Farmer Matt, having a cup of tea together. But what’s this? She also admits that when everyone else is in bed, they talk together on the couch…

Annabelle talks to Rachel and Morgan and says that she thinks Olivia is “two faced”. She also says that Olivia threw a tantrum when Annabelle kissed Matt.

“She saying one thing to Matt and it’s completely different to us girls,” Annabelle says, saying that she will tell Farmer Matt that night.

The Black Tie Dinner begins and so do the hard questions

Once the Farmers are “dressed up to the nines”, they walk into the dinner like the boys from The Hangover decided on a Bond theme.

The Farmers. Seven.

The ladies are also wearing their Sunday best, and the guys are thrilled.

“Bloody hell,” Farmer Brad says while Farmer Matt calls them “breathtaking”.

The Ladies. Seven

Rachel doesn’t know if the Farmers are “comfortable in these clothes” before host Samantha Armytage makes an appearance.

When they sit down to dinner, Farmer Brenton says he feels like “Crocodile Dundee“.

“I’m a bit out of my depth, I reckon,” he says.

Annabelle tells Farmer Matt and Olivia that she has some “fiery questions” to ask after they eat and is continuing to spiral about Olivia.

Farmer Brad reassures Clare and Morgan that he will give honest answers and says “hit me with it”.

Clare asks if he could see one of them being the mother of his kids.

“It’s awkward addressing you both at the same time,” he says while adding that he can see both of them being that person.

Morgan calls it a “valid question” because she’s ready for that stage.

Morgan. Seven

On Farmer David’s table, he and his Ladies “cheers to honesty” before David says that there are “no wrong answers.” Obviously, this is wrong, because there are only right answers…

“What are your concerns for after this experience,” Lorelei asks him.

Emily is nervous about his response.

“There’s a side of farming that’s tricky,” he says. “I think we’ve had this really nice moment on this farm and you’re going to become a part of this situation… This is not a salary style job.”

Both women took a deep breath before responding and reassure him they are both ready to “jump in and give anything a go.”

Farmer David. Seven.

Sophie asks Rachel what Jemma told her…again and in front of Farmer Brenton…again

Clare asks Farmer Brad how he knows the difference between “lust and love” and Brad wishes he could be anywhere than in that seat.

He admits that lust comes first and then “love comes when you really feel it.” Dah!

On Farmer Brenton’s table, Sophie asks Rachel once again about what Jemma spoke to her.

Rachel said that “maybe you were kind of telling me things to push me away from Brenton,” she tells Sophie. Ooft. “Like when your around us girls, you talk up yours and Brenton’s connection to make me take a step back and kind of feel guilty about my own connection with him…

“I think she was just looking out for me but I know that I can hold my own I’m not going to let people walk all over me.”

“Do you feel like that though?” Rachel asked. “I feel like what you just said kind of makes me feel like you feel that though.”

Brenton:

Brenton, Sophie and Rachel. Seven.

Sophie then says she’s conscious of that and is still “respectful”, before saying to the cameras that what Rachel said was a “shock”.

“I’d love to marry both of you girls,” Farmer Brenton says, but Rachel puts him in his place. Lol.

Annabelle questions Olivia about her alone time with Farmer Matt and it doesn’t end well

Morgan asks Clare if it’s “just her personality” or if she really struggles with her feelings before Annabelle asks Olivia to describe her feelings for Matt.

“The feelings I have for you feel like they’re purely coming from my heart,” Olivia says.

Annabelle then drops a bombshell.

“Do you feel like you lied about spending alone time with Matt?” HOLY SH**. HOOOOLY SH*******T!

“Sorry, I’m choking on water,” Olivia says, before Annabelle says: “Have you, Olivia?”

She continued: “I personally have been true to the experience and I haven’t spent alone time with Matt. So, have you Olivia?”

Olivia admits that they “wake up early and watch news in the evening”, which 100% sounds like what a couple in love would do.

Annabelle grills her further.

“So, it’s like a deeper chat?” she asks.

“I wouldn’t say it’s deep,” Farmer Matt says as does Olivia with an awkward giggle.

Annabelle, meanwhile, is FUMING and says that she knew that they were having tea when the lights were out.

“It hurts my feelings…I want that time too,” she says, leaving the table.

Annabelle. Seven.

Meanwhile, Farmer David is ignorant bliss because his Ladies aren’t fighting.

“I think love is like that feeling you can’t explain but it just feels right,” Emily tells Lorelei after she asks if she’s had enough long-term relationship experience, knowing full well she doesn’t.

“Sometimes the past doesn’t have to define what you’re feeling now,” she says.

Lorelei then asks if Emily values her friendships on the farm more than Farmer David and what kind of question is that, babes?

“We know what we’re here for,” Emily answers. God, give these girls some wine and this happens.

Back in Farmer Matt’s hell, Annabelle has done exactly what she didn’t want. Left him alone with Olivia.

“I would never do that to someone,” she says through tears. “If she wanted honesty, she would have done it in a friendly way.”

Annabelle comes back to the table…. but then we have to talk to Morgan, Clare and Brad. Ugh.

Morgan asks Clare why she’s more suited to Farmer Brad and Clare says it’s because of her “country background”.

Morgan reveals she’s falling for Farmer Brad and was upset that she had to say it at the table.

“I want her to be happy but I don’t want to be heartbroken either,” Clare admits before walking off and Farmer Brad follows.

Morgan. Seven

Lorelei then comes over to comfort her.

They give each other advice that they need to tell their Farmers how they’re feeling because “it’s crunch time”.

Annabelle and Olivia are still at each other’s throats… in front of Farmer Matt. She then has a go at Farmer Matt for consoling Olivia after she got upset when he kissed Annabelle.

“That makes me feel really sh**,” he says before apologising, because he is too pure for this world.

Annabelle cries. Again. And, honestly this needs to be over.

“I don’t know whether I’ll be able to express my feelings for both you and Annabelle,” he says.

Olivia get sad and Annabelle is pissed. Again.

“It’s all about her. Again.”

Olivia then walks off.

“I feel like I’m at the point of now, if I don’t do something, I will lose two relationships,” Farmer Matt says.

Lorelei admits her true feelings and Annabelle and Olivia HATE each other

Farmer Brenton says that “there’s no major problems with the ladies” and can go home and put up his boots and sleep well tonight. LOL. Brenton.

Lorelei calls the night “confronting” and wants to tell Farmer David how she’s feeling. She steals him for a chat.

“I think you’re this most incredible man,” she says. “And I think it is time to let you know that I am falling for you.”

Farmer David:

Farmer David. Seven

Farmer David reassures her that “there’s so much there”.

“Thank you for letting your walls down,” he says.

Farmer Matt goes to find Olivia and admits he is trying to “make both parties feel at ease”.

“I can’t imagine losing you at this point,” he tells her.

“This is breaking me,” Olivia says.

Meanwhile, Annabelle can see EVERYTHING and she is NOT HAPPY, JAN!

“I just hope tonight hasn’t put a nail in the coffin in both relationships at the same time.”

“This is too much. I can’t do it and I don’t want to do it,” Annabelle says as dhe walks away from the restaurant.

OH. MY. GOD.

Queen Charlotte A Bridgerton story: What is wrong with King George III?

No doubt you’ve already binged the entire six episodes of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story and fallen madly in love (pun intended) with King George III played by Corey Mylchreest.

**SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

While the love story he has with Queen Charlotte (India Ria Amarteifio) is a key part of the story, his mental health struggles are at the forefront — and the reason he doesn’t want to get close to his new bride.

During episode four, Holding the King, we see the events of the first three episodes from George’s perspective, including the royal doctors who treat his illness in an inhumane way.

Even though the story of Queen Charlotte is not based on fact, the real King George III was dubbed “the mad King”, proving he suffered the same fate.

What was King George III’s diagnosis?

At the age of 22, George ascended the throne, crowned the King of Great Britain until his death at age 81.

While he held the top position for 59 years, during the last ten, he was deemed mentally unfit to rule, with his eldest son Prince George Augustus Frederick, holding the title of Prince Regent.

According to the royal family’s official website George III was “widely remembered for two things: losing the American colonies and going mad. This is far from the whole truth.”

Researcher Timothy Peters deducted in the 2011 Clinical Medicine journal that he suffered from recurrent mania — possibly bipolar disorder or “manic depressive psychosis.”

In an interview with the BBC, researcher Peter Garrard said that “in the modern classification of mental illness acute mania now appears to be the diagnosis that fits best with the available behavioural data.”

King George in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Netflix.

How did they treat King George III?

Just like in the limited Bridgerton series, King George was put through harrowing treatments including a straitjacket, bloodletting, blistering, and waterboarding.

“His Majesty’s feet were put into hot water and vinegar for half an hour. Soon after this His Majesty put on such an appearance of being exhausted, that his life was despaired of — his pulse too had rapidly increased,” Dr. Francis Willis, one of the many doctors who treated the King, wrote in his diary in March 1801.

Given the medicine at the time, it was clear that no advancements had been made in how to treat him and doctors were unable to help.

Such a sad fate!

The first ever winners of Lego Masters Grand Masters have been crowned

It’s been a season full of insane brick builds and on May 8, the winners of Lego Masters Grand Masters was crowned.

During the Grand Finale, the remaining three teams were given 28 hours to build whatever they wanted, creating some of the most impressive builds in Lego Masters history.

Alongside their fellow Grand Masters contestants and 200 members of the public, judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught and host Hamish Blake determined the winners with Scott and Owen, best mates from Western Australia, coming out victorious.

The impressively creative duo won $100,000 and the coveted title of the first ever Grand Masters champions.

In their previous season, the duo finished second, but it was redemption when they triumphed over Alex and Caleb and Joss and Henry in 2023.

For their Grand Finale win, the pair were inspired by past winners to create Titan Atlas.

Their mighty Titan, a figure from Greek mythology, held a giant city above his head as he stumbled through sheets of rock above a sea of lava. Amazing!

Scott and Owen, winners of Lego Masters Grand Masters. Nine.

They used a technique called implied motion, to captured the moment of Atlas falling and trying to keep hold of the city with no supporting mechanism.

“The whole Lego Masters experience has been an absolutely mind blowing and heart filling experience,” Scott said. “We gave this competition and our final build everything we had, we hope everyone loved being with us along this journey. “

While Owen said: “We knew going in that the level of the final builds would be above and beyond anything we’d seen yet. This put us into an all or nothing mindset, to try for something ridiculous both creatively and technically in an effort to stand out.

“This meant a load of risks, many sleepless nights and hopefully an entertaining watch for all at home. In the end all the risks paid off and I could not be prouder of the legacy we have now left on the competition.”

What did the other teams build?

A valiant effort was made by Joss and Henry (who previously won their season) when they took a huge risk with their final build. They created a fantasy world: the serene and captivating Forest Guardian and the Traveller, where a traveller stumbles into a peaceful forest, greeted by the guardians of the woods.

Joss and Henry. Nine.

The third pairing of Caleb and Alex — who were runners up in Season 4 — impressed Brickman with their humorous character build, capped by King of the Jungle, a huge lion wearing a crown and sitting on a throne with other animals offering gifts to the imposing jungle leader.

Alex and Caleb. Nine.

Congratulations to Scott and Owen!

Back to Cousins! Everything you need to know about The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2

Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah are heading back to Cousins Beach for season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Launching with three episodes on Friday, July 14, 2023, with new episodes following weekly until the season finale on Friday, August 18, 2023, the series will once again be based on the best-selling book trilogy from Jenny Han.

Here’s everything we know.

What will season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty be about?

Belly (Lola Tung) used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s (Rachel Blanchard) cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same.

When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.

Who is in the cast?

Alongside Tung, Briney, Casalegno and Blanchard are returning cast members Jackie Chung, Sean KaufmanRain SpencerDavid IaconoElsie Fisher, Alfredo Narciso and Minnie Mills.

On May 6, Prime Video released a cast video featuring the main players.

In an interview with Variety back in June 2022, author Han talked about casting the role of Tung as Belly.

“I really wanted to find actors that felt real and natural and fresh. There’s a feeling of discovery about that. The linchpin was going to be Belly because everything hangs around her,” she said.

“She’s the main character and so it was the most important that we found our right Belly.”

Will the new season follow the second book?

Season 2 will be inspired by the next book in the series, It’s Not Summer Without You.

While we’re not 100% how much of this will make the series, according to the book Susannah’s passing creates a rift in Belly’s new relationship with Conrad as they both deal with her tragic loss.

When he goes missing, Belly then reunites with Jeremiah to track down Conrad and during the road trip, Belly’s feelings for Jeremiah grow stronger, but so does her love for his older brother.

How The Project honoured the late Jock Zonfrillo with Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and Andy Allen

When MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo died at just 46, his friends, family and closest confidants were left reeling by his sudden death, honoured in a beautiful tribute on The Sunday Project.

As a result of his passing, MasterChef Australia 2023 was halted for a week, premiering on May 7 instead of May 1.

Before the season premiere, the team at The Project honoured the late, great chef with famous faces sharing their memories of Zonfrillo including Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Maggie Beer, Matt Moran, Curtis Stone, Jimmy Barnes, Nigella Lawson, Marco Pierre White and his co-star Andy Allen.

JOCK ZONFRILLO
Jock Zonfrillo. Ten.

During the hour-long tribute, chef Ramsay broke down in tears, saying how his friend “lit” up the room as moving music and photos of Zonfrillo were displayed.

“The ripples have been devastating. No-one’s gonna get over this quickly. If there’s one thing that we’ve done as chefs is we’ve united and we’re talking about the good times. So…” he said, choking back tears.

“S**t. Sorry. It’s just so painful. That’s all.”

Gordon Ramsay. Ten.

Elsewhere, Pierre White said that his former mentee exhibited qualities “very few chefs possess”

“Jock Zonfrillo will never die. He will live on through everyone he touched,” he said before adding: “He lives within us, and everybody who watches that show, a little piece of him will be still in there. That’s the truth.”

Marco Pierre White and Zonfrillo. Ten.

Andy Allen reflects on his “best friend” and co-star

Speaking with The Sunday Project co-host Sarah Harris, a visibly upset Allen shared how he had had dinner with Zonfrillo on the Saturday prior to the devastating loss.

“We just talked each other’s ear off for three hours. It was so … It was so normal. He was in such good spirits,” he said. “He was so excited about the show launching.”

He then admitted he felt “guilty” that he had lunch with his friend, wishing it was his family who were able to have the final meal.

“Part of me … just feels guilty that it wasn’t them … I just wish that it was them sitting there having lunch with Jock. I’d give anything to swap positions,” he said, before adding that Lauren was “the strongest woman I have ever known”.

“She’s lost her best friend. You know … Jock’s got three daughters, and it’s things like never being able to walk them down the aisle … They’re the things that are hurting her the most.”

Andy Allen. Ten.

“Being 10 years younger than him, I still have so many things to learn. That was one of the things that he taught me, was to be vulnerable and show your emotions,” he said.

“And he’d probably be up there now going, ‘I did an all-right job ‘cause you’re a mess’.”

He then revealed how he was coping with the news.

“I want to say I’m OK, but, um … Yeah, I am not great,” he said.

“He’s just always been there for me, and … I’m just struggling to realise that he’s actually – he’s gone.

Jamie Oliver and Curtis Stone paid tribute to Jock Zonfrillo

During the episode, Oliver, who was the first guest judge on MasterChef Australia for the new season, reflected on his friend.

“Jock’s superpower I think was his curiosity. He was super curious and fascinated in people, food, travel,” he said.

“He did what he did by doing. Like seeing is believing, actions speak louder than words. That’s kind of Jock, right?”

Andy Allen, Jamie Oliver, Zonfrillo and Melissa Leong. Ten.

Stone also spoke, saying that Zonfrillo “treated everyone with respect, unless they didn’t deserve it, then he wouldn’t. He genuinely loved people. He would speak to the person who made coffee the same way he spoke to the director.”

“He did a lot on this planet, and it’s time for him to rest.”

Beer and Lawson also reflected on Zonfrillo, with Beer calling him “the most creative, warm-hearted, exuberant person who was just an amazing chef”, while Lawon spoke about his young family.

“My heart breaks, as I’m sure everyone’s does, for Jock’s children. And his family and everyone who loved him of course. This is an old-fashioned phrase here but – may his memory with a blessing.”

Designer Collette Dinnigan, Grace Tame and Tommy Little also paid homage to the chef before Barnes and his family performed a rousing rendition of The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomon.

Recap — Episode 11: The Farmers send a Lady home on Farmer Wants a Wife

It’s Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 episode 11 and tonight, the magical final 24-hour solo dates get underway and this time together “will change everything”.

First up, we’re catching up with Farmer Brenton and “Soph”. In the most random of dates, Brenton takes his Lady on a camel-ride on the beach. Yes, a camel ride.

Brenton calls it “the best date so far”.

Brenton, Sophie and Bam Bam the camel. Seven.

Sophie tells Brenton that she’d like to go travelling and he reveals that farming is “seasonal”.

Meanwhile, Farmer David and Lorelei are making pizzas, which seems much more respectable.

David thinks it’s important to spend time with her because in the past, his exes hadn’t wanted to move to the farm and that’s a concern he has with her.

He asks her what her timeframe is if she were to pack things up and she reveals she has “nothing tying” her down.

Farmer David and Lorelei. Seven.

Farmer Brad says his connection with Clare feels “right” and wants to ask her how they will “make it work” if he chooses her. He takes her to a stunning cabin with a hot tub.

Wasting zero time, the pair hop in for a bevvy and a deep chat. Brad admits he was “heartbroken” by his last relationship. He asks Clare if she would consider “six months…four months…three months” long-distance and Clare says that it would put “a strain” on their blossoming romance.

Clare and Farmer Brad. Seven

Brad is thinking about “outside in the real world” and doesn’t want to rush it.

“Six months is too long for me,” she says. “I’ll tell you that right now, to make that work long-distance.”

Farmer Matt admits he “can see a future with Annabelle”

Farmer Matt and Annabelle head off on a trail ride. He’s really happy that his parents chose her for the date and loves how career-driven she is.

“I want to see more depth,” he says, after saying that their relationship has always been “flirty”.

Annabelle calls it “the most important date” of the experience so far.

Matt and Annabelle. Seven.

Annabelle tells him she came in “looking for something” and “it’s happening”.

“My heart is telling me that,” she says.

They couple kiss. Aggressively. And Farmer Matt admits he “can definitely see a future with Annabelle”.

Farmer Matt and Annabelle. Seven.

Meanwhile, Lorelei has convinced Farmer David she’s keen to move to the farm, but he still needs reassurance his “feelings” are reciprocated.

He admits that it’s “hugely confusing” at the moment.

“I want to end up with a future partner,” he says. “I adore you, I like being in your company. Me as a potential partner, how do you see that?”

Lorelei says that when it’s just the two of them, “this feeling I have, I’ve never experienced”.

“Although it’s scary, it makes me really happy…as a partner, I’m all in.”

Farmer David feels even more conflicted.

Farmer Brenton wonders if Sophie feels like the farm is “enough”

Back with Annabelle and Farmer Matt, they got the chance to get “a little more intimate” by having deeper conversations.

Annabelle talks about the lunch with Matt’s parents and how she inadvertently took his attention away from the other girls. However, a testament to him, he checked on her because he was there to look after “all the girls”.

Once again, she looks up at him like a smitten kitten and tells him that she “wants him”. But like, in a cute way, not a sexy way…

Annabelle and Matt. Seven.

Farmer Matt then asks her what a future would look like.

“It would have to be long-distance for a little bit,” she admits, saying she still has her life on the Central Coast. She gives him a time-frame of six months.

“I want you to know that I am developing those feelings, that I am starting to fall for you,” she says. “It just feels so right with you.”

He then calls her “perfect in every sense of the word”. They mack on again.

Farmer Matt and Annabelle.

Farmer Matt admits that no one has ever told him that they’re falling in love with him, which is weird, because have they met him?!

Meanwhile at the stunning Darriman Glamping Escape by Under Sky, Farmer Brenton and Sophie hop off their camels to glamp. Sophie loves it. We also love how these women pretend like the Farmers choose their dates…”He’s so romantic!” Yeh…and so are the producers.

Glamping! Seven.

It is romantic AF and Sophie calls the date “incredible”. She admits she hasn’t missed the city and even though she’s a social person, she can do that “here”.

She admits she’s keen to host dinners and Farmer Brenton says he likes things “planned out”. He’s not spontaneous like she is, which she “keeps noted”.

Brenton tells the cameras that he’s worried whether the farm is “enough” for her and talks about how she’d like to travel for six weeks. He says that it’s hard to leave a cattle farm, when ya know, there are live animals etc.

Sophie’s answers “throw a spanner in the works” and feels “rattly” at the moment.

Continuing with the “enough” trend, Olivia doesn’t feel like she’s enough for Farmer Matt

It’s morning and the dates are drawing to a close. Back at the homesteads, everybody is freaking out.

Shelby and Morgan are worried that Farmer Brad and Clare have done something romantic and once again, Shelby hates Clare.

She is worried that she hasn’t had enough time with her mans and that Clare drains her “glass half empty” cup. Cool.

Farmer Brad and Clare arrive back home and the Ladies pretend to be happy for them.

Shelby and Morgan. Seven.

Over on Farmer Matt’s farm, Chelsea and Olivia are also freaking the eff out.

When the pair arrive home, the Ladies say that they are “livin’ the dream” by being stuck at home by themselves and Olivia continues her downward spiral.

“Jealousy is not necessarily what I was feeling,” she says before adding that horses make her feel calm and so it was absolute sh** that Annabelle went riding with Matt…. but she’s not jealous, guys.

Annabelle throws in the fact that there were blankets which really rubs it in and Olivia wants to scream with rage.

“I just don’t know if I’m enough,” she tells the cameras afterwards. She walks away crying and says she thinks she wants to go home.

Olivia. Seven.

On Farmer Brenton’s farm, Rachel and Jemma are also worried about the 24-hour date.

Rachel says she’s “confident that nothing has changed” between her and Brenton and when Sophie and their collective boyfriend arrive back home, it’s awkies AF.

The Ladies notice a weird energy shift and while they want Farmer Brenton to themselves, they feel bad for Sophie, because something clearly went wrong.

Rachel and Jemma. Seven.

Rachel admits that she compares herself to Sophie and Jemma tells her she is “amazing”, which we love.

Twin sister Sophie is contemplating where she stands with Farmer Matt and feels their relationship is at a “standstill”.

Olivia is still spiralling, and cries in front of Matt.

“It’s just getting more tough seeing this kind of stuff play out,” she tells him. “The little person in me…is saying run for it but the other part of it is saying stay.”

Matt calls it a “little speed bump”.

Matt and Olivia. Seven.

Emily and Alyssa (who get precisely zero airtime) are waiting for Farmer David and Lorelei to return home.

Alyssa can tell that Emily and Lorelei’s connections are further along and she and Emily try to hold it together, pretending they are A-OK.

Emily and Alyssa. Seven.

Shelby pulls Farmer Brad for a chat during the final Farm Farewell Dinner

Farmer Matt is conflicted going into the Farm Farewell and so is Farmer Brad. And so is Farmer David…and Farmer Brenton.

“This is easily at the point now where I can send the wrong lady home,” Farmer Brenton says.

There’s tension on Farmer Brad’s farm and he asks the Ladies what their “highs and lows are”.

Shelby says that she wishes she hadn’t come into the experience so late and pulls him for a chat. She then reads out a letter which says: “I wish I hadn’t come in late so that I could have LOVED you sooner.” WOAH.

“I came here for you and I came here to find love,” she tells him before admitting that doesn’t want to go home “with regrets”.

“I am the girl that you met on our date,” she says barely holding it together. As per usual, Farmer Brad gives no reassurance.

Shelby. Seven.

“I’ve got a decision to make and I hope I make the right one,” he tells the cameras.

At Farmer Brenton’s dinner, he has three girls he “can see a future with”.

Chelsea and Brenton move away from the table to talk about their relationship and he tells her that he really likes her.

“I’ve never been so sure about someone,” she says.

The Farmers each send home one Lady

Back at the table, Farmer Brenton sends Jemma home.

While she handles it graciously, she pulls Rachel for a chat and says that Sophie was “foreshadowing my exit”. She also tells her not to let Sophie overshadow her.

Jemma. Seven.

In Bookham, Farmer Matt says he feels like he’s given a piece of his heart to all of his girlfriends. He also doesn’t feel like his heart is secure with “just one of them”. He then pulls Olivia for a chat.

“God, this is so hard,” Annabelle says, crying.

Farmer Matt and Olivia talk and he’s concerned that she wanted to leave.

“I need to choose between a relationship that feels right and one I don’t want to let go of,” he tells her.

Over at Farmer David’s gathering of womens, he looks like the Godfather deciding who to kill off.

Farmer David.

He says he bases his decisions off how he’s feeling and then abruptly says: “Alyssa, yeh we’ll be ending the adventure here.” K bye.

In Cootamundra, Farmer Brad says the experience is “upsetting”.

“That lady I’m going to send home tonight…Shelby, I’m really sorry. It just hasn’t been long enough,” he says.

Before leaving, Shelby b**ches about Clare one last time.

“I do want to tell you one thing before I go. I feel like you need to know. There are things that you don’t see. I think there’s one person here that genuinely wants your heart and I feel like there’s one person that’s not being genuine to you.” Go off, sis!

She says other stuff about ye olde’ Clare and he says he “appreciates it”, but really, he just wants her to leave.

Farmer Brad and Shelby. Seven.

Finally, Farmer Matt is left to face his decision.

He says the relationship he needs to let go of, is the one he’s “struggling to see how to make it work going forward”.

“I’m really sorry Chelsea, but I think this is the end of our relationship.”

Chelsea and Farmer Matt. Seven.

Wow. Shocker.

Farmer Wants a Wife continues on Monday at 7.30 pm.

A man accused of stalking Sophie Monk alleges he was scammed by a catfish and the story is wild

A man who thought he was in a relationship with Sophie Monk, has claimed he was duped by an online catfish, after turning up to her house with a single rose.

After four months of chatting over Instagram with who he thought was the Love Island host, Brian Rapley, 49, was handed a restraining order by police, after appearing outside of her Central Coast home.

“I feel like such an idiot,” Rapley told The Daily Telegraph. “But I thought we were in a relationship.”

According to Rapley, he had made a comment on her Instagram account and the “next thing I get a message from another account but with the same profile pic as Sophie, saying ‘Hey it’s Sophie … let’s chat here, my manager reads my official account, so this is better’.”

Further to this, the father-of-two was scammed out of $7000 and said that the person who he was chatting to gave him Monk’s “exact address”.

Instagram.

The police were called on Rapley

“I’ve got the messages where she asks me to come to her house,” he told the outlet. “I thought I was going there to meet her.”

After arriving at the home at 7.30am, Monk’s neighbours called the police and Rapley was taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was questioned “like I was some crazed stalker”.

According to the man, he had “five cops” around him, and got told to “Get out with your hands up”.

“They said to me ‘What are you here to do to Sophie Monk,’ and I said ‘I’m here to meet her for the first time, we are in a relationship’.”

Monk, who is currently filming a movie with Vanilla Ice in Queensland, told police in a statement: “I do not know any person by the name of Brian Rapley. I am not in a relationship with anyone by the name of Brian Rapley. I am currently happily married to my husband Joshua Gross”.

Even though Rapley was served with an AVO, he was not charged with any offences.

Ryan Murphy announces focus for Monster Season 2 of Netflix anthology series

Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan have chosen who they will next focus on after the record-breaking success of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

The series — like most of their other projects — has now turned into an anthology. The next season will follow the harrowing story of the Menéndez brothers, Lyle and Erik, who were convicted of murdering their parents José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez in 1996.

In addition to this, Variety reported that it also has “exclusive access” to Lyle and Erik Menéndez, who are currently incarcerated at the RJ Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California, to participate in a documentary feature from Campfire Studios.

In fact, Murphy and Brennan have previously mentioned the famed brothers in another project, FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Given that both trials were happening simultaneously IRL, the case was mentioned on the show.

The choice of story will perhaps grip the world once more, especially since the subjects are currently in news headlines as we speak.

New allegations have surfaced regarding José in the new docu-series Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed. A member of the boy band Menudo, Roy Rosselló, has claimed that Lyle and Erik’s father sexually assaulted him as a teenager.

Back in November 2022, Netflix announced that they had green-lit two more Monster stories as well as another season of The Watcher.

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story had a whopping 1 billion view hours in its first 60 days worldwide.

Here’s why Farmer Brenton’s mum was a no-show at family lunch on Farmer Wants a Wife

During the tenth episode of Farmer Wants a Wife on May 1, all of the families of our five Farmers were present and accounted for. Well, except for Farmer Brenton’s mum.

Now, in an interview with 7Entertainment, the sixth-generation cattle farmer has revealed the real reason why she was a no-show.

According to Brenton, things got “pretty heated” between the pair when his mum decided not to appear on the show, in case she bonded with the rejected girls and would “never see them again”. Ummm… cute?!

“I mean, you really want your family to get on with the girls,” he told the outlet. “[My family] had never been in front of a camera and mum didn’t want a camera on her because she didn’t want to get to know the other two Ladies and then not pick them and never see them again.”

“So she decided not to show her face [at all].”

Farmer Brenton, Daniel, Brittney, Elly and Jemma, Rachel and Sophie. Seven.

Instead, Farmer Brenton’s dad Daniel and sisters Elly and Brittney appeared on behalf of the family, choosing Sophie — Brenton’s front-runner for the final 24-hour solo date.

Both Jemma and Rachel — from the Barossa Valley and Perth respectively — were left questioning everything after Daniel told them they had “bugger all chance” of staying in their hometowns if Brenton was to choose them.

Aussie Grayson Waller celebrated his WWE draft pick with an epic shoey and ‘onya mate

Two Aussie wrestlers have been selected by Raw and SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft and for Sydney’s Grayson Waller, there was no better celebration then a good ‘ol shoey!

Fellow Women’s Champion Rea Ripley was immediately picked in Round 1 by Raw; however, Waller was announced as the very last member of the SmackDown roster.

“You know, I’d love to come on here and say I can’t believe it,” Waller told WWE’s McKenzie Mitchell.

“I would love to tell you that I’ve thought about this moment since I was a little kid, and I never thought I’d be here. But the truth is, I’m not surprised. I was born to do this.”

While he knew he was a shoe-in (pun absolutely intended), Waller was surprised by how long it took for him to be drafted.

Grayson Waller. WWE.

“You’ve got these people cheering me behind me, like they’re my friends. You think you got me here? I got me here,” he said.

“And I’m a very dangerous man and the only dangerous man than that is Grayson Waller with a chip on his shoulder and right now, I’ve got the biggest chip that exists, but we’ve got to celebrate, right? And as an Australian, there’s only one way to celebrate properly, cheers.”

The 33-year-old then poured a beer into his shoe and well, the results were hilarious.

Fans in the crowd behind him, as well as Ripley, were a little shocked by the act but we here in a Australia couldn’t be prouder!

‘Onya Grayson!

Get ready to feel really old because Judd Apatow just revealed how old the baby from Knocked Up is

We’re warning you. If you were born before 1995, this news is about to blow your goddamn mind because director Judd Apatow released a BTS pic from his 2007 film Knocked Up and the caption was nothing short of mind-blowing.

In case you’ve forgotten the premise of the film, let us re-introduce you. The story followed the repercussions of a drunken one-night stand between a slacker (Seth Rogen) and a recently promoted media personality (Katherine Heigl) that resulted in an unintended pregnancy. The film also had an all-star cast including Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Jay Baruchel, Leslie Mann and Martin Starr.

In fact, the story was loosely based upon Mann and Apatow who are married IRL and the birth of their daughter, Maude, who not only starred in the film with her sister Iris, but has found huge success in Euphoria.

Maude and Iris Apatow. Universal Pictures.

At the time of its release, the film garnered a cult following and was a box office hit, particularly due to the success of Apatow’s 40 Year Old Virgin, which made Steve Carell a household name.

Cut to May 2023 and the film is now 16 years old. Firstly, how?! And secondly… we’re crying into our mid-morning coffee.

On May 1, Apatow shared a pic with the caption: “That baby is 17.”

The cast of Knocked Up. Instagram.

While you may think he’s not done the math, the baby was clearly one at the time of filming, making her 17 now.

We’ve searched high and low trying to figure out who this kid is, but alas, no such luck! She’s probably a TikToker now…

Fans and celebrities flocked to the comments section

At the time of publication, the post had garnered 92k likes with famous celebrities and fans commenting on the post.

“Damn, I’m old,” cast member Starr said while Full House alum John Stamos hilariously added: “Which one?”

Rogen wrote a simple “oh no”, while Starr’s co-star in Party Down Adam Scott said: “Wow”.

Instagram.

“And Paul Rudd is still 34,” a fan commented while another said: “My arthritis just started to act up right as I read the caption.” Lol!

Here’s hoping we can get all these legends in a room once more and that we can find out what they baby is doing now!

New details emerge about the shocking death of MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo

MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo was reportedly secretly battling with recurrent bowel cancer in the years before his death at age 46.

According to the Daily Mail, the TV chef kept his diagnosis from the public, receiving treatment while the hit show was not filming.

The outlet is not suggesting that this was the cause; however, it is understood he was first treated for bowel cancer with chemotherapy and radiotherapy a few years ago, before going into remission in 2016.

In 2021, the cancer was reportedly found again with an unnamed friend telling the outlet that he was “coping poorly” with the diagnosis.

JOCK ZONFRILLO
Jock Zonfrillo. 10.

Jock Zonfrillo didn’t talk about the diagnosis in his memoir

Zonfrillo’s memoir Long Shot made no mention of cancer; however, an anonymous source made mention of it to the Mail in 2021 but it was never published.

“I was told the reason why he hasn’t disclosed his medical condition was because he didn’t want people feeling sorry for him, or treating him any different,” they said.

Network Ten has since denied these claims to News.com.au.

Andy Allen and Melissa Leong are said to be “broken”

Entertainment reporter Angela Bishop appeared on The Project on Monday (where he was scheduled to appear) saying his co-stars were “devastated” and “broken” by the news.

“It is a loss of the member of the family here at ten,” Bishop said. “Only 46. That is why this is such a shocking piece of news… They would work 16 hours days together for MasterChef, you couldn’t find closer work mates and confidantes.

“They are devastated, broken is the word descried to me, they are trying to process this news.”

In a radio appearance to promote the new Secrets and Surprises season of MasterChef on Monday, Melissa Leong commented on the close friendship the three judges had.

Jock Zonfrillo’s death

Zonfrillo was found dead at 2am on Monday, April May 1 in a hotel on Lygon St, Melbourne after police performed a welfare check. Reports also suggest that his passing is not being treated as suspicious and a coroners report is underway.

He is survived by wife Lauren and his four children, Ava, Sophie, Alfie and Isla.

Network Ten announce his death

At 2pm on May 1, Network Ten announced the sudden death of the beloved TV host.

“Network 10 and Endemol Shine Australia are deeply shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of Jock Zonfrillo, a beloved member of the MasterChef Australia family. Jock passed away in Melbourne yesterday.

“Jock was known to Australians as a chef, best-selling author, philanthropist and MasterChef judge but he will be best remembered as a loving father, husband, brother and son.

“Determined and talented and with plenty of grit, Jock was born in Glasgow to an Italian father and a Scottish mother, which meant his formative years were heavily influenced by two strong cultures and it was his obsession with food and desire for a new pushbike that at just 12 years old fuelled Jock to knock on kitchen doors looking for a job.

“Jock’s love and passion for food saw him become one of the youngest culinary students to do an apprenticeship at The Turnberry Hotel at just 15 years of age. From that point onwards there was no holding him back and by 17 he was working alongside Marco Pierre White at his eponymous Restaurant Marco Pierre White.

Jock and Marco Pierre White. Tom Huntley.

Network Ten talk about his career

“Throughout his career he worked with world famous chefs and in restaurants all over the world. His talent saw him shine in the world’s most formidable kitchens and he opened Bistro Blackwood and Restaurant Orana in Adelaide after moving to Australia.

“Jock’s Restaurant Orana was recognised with the coveted distinction of three hats in both 2019 and 2020 and he also received global accolades, accepting the prestigious Basque Culinary World Prize in 2018.

“In 2019, Jock was named as a judge on MasterChef Australia in which he took great pride in challenging and coaching the contestants and of course inspiring a nation of home cooks.

“Jock’s charisma, wicked sense of humour, generosity, passion and love for food and his family cannot be measured. He will be greatly missed.”

Zonfrillo’s family also deliver a statement

His family also released a statement.

“With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday,” Zonfrillo’s family said.

“So many words can describe him, so many stories can be told, but at this time we’re too overwhelmed to put them into words. For those who crossed his path, became his mate, or were lucky enough to be his family, keep this proud Scot in your hearts when you have your next whisky.

“We implore you to please let us grieve privately as we find a way to navigate through this and find space on the other side to celebrate our irreplaceable husband, father, brother, son and friend.”

MasterChef Australia was set to premiere the same day; however has now been pushed back.

Recap — Episode 10: Farmer Wants a Wife’s Shelby throws Clare under the bus. Big time

Farmer Wants a Wife Australia episode 10 begins where last night ended with the aftermath of Farmer Andrew leaving the show to pursue things with Claire.

The Farmers reflect on their families who will be joining them during the episode and there’s now only a couple of days left on the farms.

On Farmer Brad’s property, the Ladies have decided to name all the chooks after the girls he’s dated on the show (lol) and Morgan laments that Brad has formed a connection with both Clare and Shelby. The people, not the chickens…

“There’s nothing I can do to change my appearance, there’s nothing I can do to change my personality,” she says. “Brad knows where I’m at, so I just have to focus on that.”

Over on Farmer Matt’s farm, Annabelle reveals she feels “great” about Matt; however, is feeling the pressure and is struggling to share her time with Olivia.

“I feel like Chelsea and I can be overpowered,” she says. “Yeh, it’s a bit hard.”

Meanwhile, Olivia says everything is getting more “intense” and is “concerned” that she doesn’t know where her Farmer stands with the other ladies.

“I feel strongly for Matt,” she said.

Olivia. 7.

Farmer Matt admits that he has feelings for all the Ladies and is concerned he doesn’t know which way to lean.

Meanwhile, Farmer Brenton says that he has “tunnel vision” for the three Ladies he has left.

“The most important thing is that someone will want to come back and live on the farm with me,” he says.

He admits that Jemma coming to the farm has “shaken things up a bit”; although Jemma can clearly see the connection between him and Sophie before Farmer Brenton admits he has no idea who he is going to choose.

#PavlovaGate rears its ugly head on Farmer Matt’s farm

Host Samantha Armytage has organised lunch for the families of the Farmers and whoever impresses them the most, will win a final 24-hour solo date.

In Bookham, the Ladies are preparing to meet Farmer Matt’s family. Olivia has taken the reigns in preparing the feast, which was not a welcome plan for Annabelle and Chelsea.

After talk of Pavlova and fresh berries in the garden (le sigh), Olivia tells the cameras that it’s important for her to get along with his family and friends and wants to make a good impression by cooking “something nice.”

Annabelle is happy that she is able to do the Pav because it will show she is giving it “a good crack”. She then reveals that she’s never had a good relationship with the mum’s of her past exes, saying that she would go home and cry to her own mum, wondering why they didn’t like her.

“When you get married, you marry the family too,” she says but is still concerned about Olivia.

Annabelle. 7.

All of the households are preparing to meet the Farmer’s family and friends.

On Farmer Brad’s farm, the Ladies are cleaning, while on Farmer David’s farm, Lorelei admits she is “so not ready” to meet his mum.

Farmer Matt’s dad, David and university friend, Alana, arrive to meet his “potential life partner”, with his mum to arrive later because she’s working.

“Somone’s gotta bring in the cash,” David jokes. The ultimate dad joke.

According to Farmer Matt, his friend Alana has always given him “solid advice” that he “trusts”.

Alana. 7.

Farmer David’s nephew Robbie steals the show

At Farmer’s David’s lunch, he says that his family will be able to give him some input on Lorelei, Emily (his obvious choice) and Alyssa, who once again, we genuinely keep forgetting is still around.

Emily is nervous AF but thinks she and her Farmer are in “a really good spot”. She reflects on her 24-hour date and reveals she’s never met a boyfriend’s parents before.

Then the cavalry arrive in the form of Farmer David’s parents, brother, sister-in-law and newborn nephew, Robert.

Alyssa presents his sister-in-law with gifts for “Robbie” and according to David, he looks “stoked” about it.

Robbie is “stoked”. 7.

Lorelei, meanwhile, is worried about Farmer David’s connection with Emily and wants to “stand out”, even though she struggles with group settings.

Clare asks Farmer Brad’s sister-in-law for employment and Shelby wants to share who Clare really is

Over in Cootamundra, Farmer Brad’s mum Franca and dad, Dave (yes, another one) arrive to meet his Ladies alongside brother Ryan and sister-in-law, Emma.

Shelby says she wants to make a good impression on Brad’s family and says that even though she hasn’t been there as long as the others, she’s still “crushing really hard”. She also says she’s concerned by Clare’s connection and it’s “hard to compete”.

“No free lunches, girls,” Dave says. Another dad joke courtesy of the males in the Farmer’s lives.

Brad’s family and Clare. 7.

Clare then admits she’s a 7.2 out of 10 on the “nerves scale” and we’re questioning where the .2 came from… She says she wants them to like her and is “starting to head towards the L word”.

When Emma announces she’s an auctioneer, Clare asks if they need an other one and after a couple of cold ones “under her belt”, she’d be the perfect person.

Dave then asks the Ladies how they’ve “found the whole situation”.

“Awkward?” he says and the women agree it’s “really weird”.

Shelby continues to be concerned by “the usual charmer” that Clare is, worried that she is not making an impression herself.

“I hope that Brad and the family can see through the charm,” she tells the cameras. “It’s grinding my gears… and I will probably tell them at some point. I know what I want and I get what I want and I want Farmer Brad.”

Shelby. 7.

Farmer Brenton’s dad Daniel tells the Ladies they have “bugger all chance” of going home to their hometowns if chosen

Farmer Brenton’s dad, Daniel, and his two sisters are very “curious” to meet his potential partners.

Over a few sausage sangas, it’s awkies AF, given the fact that Brenton’s family are just as quiet as he used to be.

“It was a little bit awkward,” Brenton’s sister Elly says, praising Jemma for breaking the ice with a question about her boo.

Farmer Brenton’s other sister, Brittney, revealed that Brenton went to work with his dad from the day he was two, with Brenton saying that “young calves have got to teach a bull a few tricks”.

Brittney then says that whoever Brenton picks, they’ll “definitely have to move to the farm”.

Farmer Brenton’s lunch. 7.

Sophie admits that there’s a “bit of pressure to impress the family” and tells them that she grew up on a farm as well.

“Very similar upbringing,” she told them.

She then tells the cameras she was very “lucky” that she had that background and if the “other girls were from the same situation, they’d be bringing it up too.”

Daniel then reiterates to the Ladies that there’s “bugger all chance” that Rachel and Jemma would be able to move back to their hometowns if they were chosen, given that his son is a sixth-generation farmer… and Brenton looked visibly uncomfortable.

Rachel placates Daniel by saying that she wouldn’t be here if she didn’t want to be.

Chelsea reveals she doesn’t want to tell Farmer Matt’s family what they want to hear

Farmer Matt’s dad questions Olivia over her cooking.

“What do you call this, love?” he asks her.

“Rissoles,” she says, giving possibly the most Aussie response ever.

“You should open a restaurant,” he joked before asking the Ladies how they are getting on, “given the difficulties of your situation”.

Olivia says they’re “all respectful”, to which the third dad joke of the episode is revealed.

“Good, because I don’t want to see any holes in the walls.” Lol.

Farmer Matt’s friend Alana then questions whether any of the women have “experience on property” and Annabelle says that she grew up on 17-acres. Meanwhile, Chelsea withdraws.

Chelsea. 7.

“I’m not going to say something to his family and friends just to put myself ahead,” she tells the cameras. “I’m definitely going to be honest with my answers.”

Chelsea tells Alana and David that although she’d be happy to help around the farm, she does want her own career.

“I don’t see my life working here because I have my own goals that I want to achieve as well,” she says and doubt creeps across Farmer Matt’s face.

Farmer Matt. 7.

When his mum Jan arrives, she asks what everyone’s been up to. Olivia is quick to tell her that she cooked that morning.

Shelby throws Clare under the bus

With the family grilling well underway, and before they got too comfortable, the Farmers have received a letter from host Sam.

The note comes with the surprise that the family must choose who will go on the last ever 24-hour solo date with their bae.

“Ladies, my advice to you is to get to know Farmer (insert name here)’s loved ones and let them get to know the real you.”

Emily starts to panic saying that she can’t let the “old feelings resurface” about Farmer David and Lorelei while Annabelle also begins to freak the eff out, calling the date with Matt “important”.

“Let the interrogations begin,” Farmer David says. Let them begin, indeed!

On Farmer Brad’s farm, Morgan happily admits that she was “overwhelmed” by farm lyfe but calls the opportunity “incredible” and says that she just has to be herself.

“You give it a crack,” she says.

Morgan, Clare and Shelby. 7.

Sister-in-law Emma wants Farmer Brad to find someone who is “passionate” about his lifestyle and “wants what he wants”, while brother Ryan is concerned that being on the farm is so different to what they’re all doing at the moment.

Shelby then sits down with Ryan and within five seconds, throws Clare under the bus.

“I don’t know if fake is the right term…but the side I see of Clare is different to when Brad’s not around. I don’t think Brad’s seen the other side of her. I don’t want to sound like a raging b**ch right now but I just feel like there’s a facade.” Green is not a good colour on you, Shelby.

“I don’t think Brad’s seen that and I don’t know how he would feel if he had seen that.”

Ryan is concerned by the news but is also cautious, thinking that Shelby just wants more time with Brad.

Chelsea doesn’t know how she feels about Farmer Matt and Farmer David makes hearts explode by holding his nephew

Farmer Matt’s dad David pulls Chelsea aside for a little one-on-one time. He said that he noticed she was quiet but that she’s “thinking the whole time”.

She says it’s hard for her because she doesn’t want to move away from her family and doesn’t want to “let Matt down”. She begins to cry and David gives her a hug.

Chelsea also doesn’t know how she feels about Farmer Matt, which is concerning…

Chelsea.

“I feel comfortable opening up to David,” she said.

Back on Farmer David’s farm, this happened.

Farmer David and Robbie. 7.

“I’m definitely looking forward to having a family on the farm,” Farmer David says as hearts collectively explode all over the country.

While Farmer David is busy being an uncle, Emily is concerned that Lorelei is having a great time with his family and is whisked away by his mum Rosie to have a chat.

“I’ve never had a serious relationship,” she admitted. “What I’m feeling for David is really special…there’s something different this time.”

Rosie seems concerned by Emily’s responses about not being in a committed relo before and probes her further.

“There’s so many feelings,” Emily said. “It feels really right.”

Over on Farmer Matt’s farm, he has turned to Alana for advice. She says that the decision will be hard for him. He tells her he is concerned about Chelsea and that Annabelle has a vivacious personality. He also admitted that he and Olivia had an “instant connection”…which kind of proves where is head is leaning.

Matt and Alana. 7.

Annabelle chats with Jan and David about not wanting to just be a farmers wife; however, gets upset when Jan invites Olivia for some one-on-one time.

Annabelle leaves the table feeling unwell and Farmer Matt talks to her

Farmer Brad thinks that “all the girls” are interacting quite well with his family and is interested to see who they choose.

Franca takes Clare for a talk and reminds her of how small Cootamundra is and hopes that he thinks with his heart and not his head.

Meanwhile, Annabelle has left the table at Farmer Matt’s and he goes to find her. She says she’s feeling “really bad” and that she’s struggling.

“I don’t want you guys to think that I’m some bimbo,” she says.

Jan says she’s sad she didn’t get to finish their conversation but “the farm is not always a glamorous place” and is concerned she won’t cope with the heat of the farm. Farmer Matt is a dream as always.

Annabelle and Farmer Matt. 7.

Annabelle is concerned that her family don’t like her; however, Farmer Matt assures her that they — and he — “love” her vivacious personality.

“That’s what I love about you,” he says.

“The big thing in my family is that they’ll accept whoever I want in my life,” he adds. “And if you want to be that person in my life, you need to show them who you are.”

Farmer Matt tells her that she is “really important” to him and that she shouldn’t feel like she’s “stuffed anything up”.

“I really appreciate you for who you are.” God, this kid. He’s divine.

Over at sauso sanga heaven, all the women want to be chosen, but especially Jemma. Sophie decides to go in hard and asks Elly for a talk.

She tells her that Farmer Brenton and her have a very “strong” connection and that she is falling in love with him.

Jemma then chats to Brittney and says there was a “spark” with Brenton from the second they met and she thinks she “cracked” him when it comes to opening up.

The families make a decision on the final 24-hour dates

Farmer David’s family want Lorelei and Emily to win the date while Farmer Brad’s family are confused over Shelby’s earlier admission about Clare.

After the longest family lunch in history, the families choose who will get the final 24-hour solo date with the Farmers. Here’s what happened:

  • Farmer David — Lorelei (Alyssa spiralled, saying that it was “disheartening” she wasn’t chosen and Emily was concerned about the next two weeks)
  • Farmer Brenton — Sophie (Brittney told them that they’d be happy with any of them as sisters)

Before Farmer Brad’s date is revealed, Shelby says that if she’s not chosen, she doesn’t know how that “leaves her standing”.

Then, after all the drama of #PavlovaGate, Annabelle has missed out on serving her infamous Pav due to feeling ill; however:

  • Farmer Matt — Annabelle! Love this for her!

“It does make me a little bit nervous that something could change between them,” Olivia says, concerned his feelings for her will in turn shift.

Then, Ryan shared the news of who would be sharing time with Brad.

  • Farmer Brad — Clare
Shelby. 7.

Morgan says her “feelings” have grown and Shelby was devo.

“I’m still undecided whether I should tell him what he doesn’t see as I don’t want to come across as that crazy jealous person,” she says. Too late.

MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo dies, aged 46

MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo has died, aged 46.

Confirming the news in a statement, Network Ten also announced that MasterChef Australia will not air this week.

Network 10 paid tribute to Zonfrillo.
