The spicy trailer and some even spicier comments from a few cast members have tipped us off to what can be expected this week.
Boil the kettle and settle in, because the tea is piping hot and we’re loving every sip!
The Block copying scandal
Just when you thought the season was already scandal-heavy, a new one is about to drop!
According to TV Week, Courtney and Sev are accused of copying Jolene and Adam after adding a mirror wall and new fireplace to their living room.
Speaking to the publication, the ladies fired back with a copying accusation of their own.
“Have a look at Lisa’s re-do room and then have a look at the guest suite of Chantel’s,” Courtney told the mag.
“There are so many parallels that run on that site, not only because we use the same sponsors, but we’re all given the same brief from Darren [Palmer],” Sev added. “There are some rooms that look exactly the same!
“At the end of the day, they’re not innovators in the sense of applying mirrors or fireplaces in spaces. They’re all things that have been done to death.”
Sev went on to reveal that what followed was nothing short of “bitchiness and cattiness”, so we all have that to look forward to!
Chattr recently spoke to the ladies and it sounds like their friendship with Lisa and Rosco has completely imploded as a result.
Wyatt threatens Adam
Elsewhere, the trailer teases that the long-awaited scrap between Adam and Wyatt kicks off tonight.
“Not very happy Adam, not after the way you’ve been carrying on,” Wyatt hisses at Adam, threatening him: “Stop talking sh*t, otherwise we’ll sort it out.”
“It all went a bit pear-shaped,” Adam then says in his confessional.
Interestingly, it was recently revealed that Chantel and Wyatt have quit The Block group chat, bailing on events and ignoring WhatsApp messages as a result of incoming beef.
Speaking to Woman’s Day, a source spilled the Queensland couple have “completely ghosted” their co-stars.
“There’s been no communication in the WhatsApp group, no calls, no texts. They’ve just removed themselves from the whole thing,” they said.
The source added: “They left The Block at the end of filming and really have only interacted with the other houses once.”
The judges praise one team and rip into another
Taking aim at an undisclosed home, the judges opine that “you don’t feel welcome in here”.
“They’re not selling a dream,” Marty added, with Darren interjecting: “Because it’s so beige?”
It’s not all doom and gloom, however, as they praise a certain season-high.
“This is hands down my favourite room thus far on The Block,” one of the judges says, adding that it might just be “the first week of three tens”.
