Perhaps one of the spiciest moments from The Block 2026 over the last week was Sunday night’s body corp where it appeared that only one team agreed to give Rick and Tayla more time.
ICYMI: in the episode, Tayla calls a body corp to ask the other teams if they could have more time to finish their kitchen as her poor dad had a bung knee.
The ensuing back and forth resulted in Jolene calling Tayla a “brat” and Lisa and Rosco calling out Courtney and Sev for denying the extra time but asking Rick how his leg was going later on.
Now, the episode made it appear like none of the teams were on Tayla and Rick’s side, except for Lisa and Rosco.
But since the ep has aired and even more drama has ensued — including that huge scrap at Freedom — a contestant has reached out to us and claimed that what we saw on-screen wasn’t exactly what happened.
The Block’s Lisa says there was a missing scene that changes everything
In the scene, the last we hear from Jolene and Adam is that they would not agree to extra time, with Tayla later citing that the ‘no’ to extra time is “unanimous” from her rivals.
According to Lisa, this was not the case, as not only did she and Rosco agree to extra time, but Jolene and Adam also ended up saying yes.
“Incorrect about the body corp,” Lisa told Chattr exclusively.
“Adam and Jolene voted yes for extra time, it just didn’t show the actual vote.”
It comes after Courtney and Sev told us they feel they were the “scapegoat” in that scene.
The ladies went on to refute Lisa’s version of events, accusing her of “flip-flopping” during the body-corp in regards to whether or not they would give Tayla and Rick more time.
“[Lisa] came to the body corp not knowing what she was going to do, what decision she was going to make,” Courtney told Chattr exclusively.
“She was completely up in the air and flip-flopping. At the start, it was very much like no, I don’t think we’re going to do the extra time.”
Sev then interjected: “And then in the end they fell short and said they needed more time, so we became their scapegoat to just put the blame on us. There was a pile-on with the whole Rick thing.”
As far as body corps go, I’d say this was one of the most controversial ones of the season!
