There could be a surprising family connection between The Block 2026 judge Marty Fox and contestant Chantel Green. Does Marty know Chantel’s younger sister?
As first reported in New Idea, Marty follows Chantel’s sister, Tijana Bundalo, on Instagram — and she follows him back. “It’s the fact that they follow each other that has people wondering,” the source said. “They’re obviously connected somehow, but the question is how?”
Tijana is the baby sister of The Block 2026 contestant, but she has an impressive résumé of her own. Tijana is a qualified carpenter and has previously worked alongside Chantel in their family construction business, giving her plenty of firsthand experience in the building industry. She has since moved into coaching and describes herself as a life coach, while also co-hosting a podcast, She Rises. Tijana also has a pageant background, having been a finalist in Miss World Australia NSW in 2019.
To be clear: Marty is not following Chantel herself on social media.
Chattr exclusively spoke to Tijana to find out how they ended up following each other on Instagram. “I’ve never met him, I just follow him on social media,” she clarified.
“We have never had a relationship, nor have we ever spoken.”
This random connection comes as Chantel and partner Wyatt have steadily improved on The Block. After placing third with their family bathroom, they finished equal-second for their main bedroom and walk-in robe, then narrowly missed an ensuite win with an impressive 25.5 points.
This shock follow isn’t the only suspicious activity social media users have noticed with The Block judge Marty Fox.
Marty Fox was snubbed by The Block’s Scott Cam on Instagram
Rumours of tension between The Block host Scott Cam and judge Marty Fox have been growing thanks to an odd detail on Instagram.
According to a recent Woman’s Day report, Scott does not follow Marty on the social media platform — despite following fellow judges Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer. It might seem insignificant on its own, but the apparent snub has attracted attention amid claims the two men aren’t particularly close behind the scenes. “Scotty isn’t fake,” a source told Woman’s Day. “If he doesn’t like you, he doesn’t like you and he isn’t going to pretend to just for kicks.”
However, there is no confirmation that Scott and Marty are actually feuding. The rumours are particularly interesting given Marty’s increasingly prominent role within The Block franchise. He joined the judging panel in 2023 and has since become one of the show’s beloved personalities.
The Block airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
