Between a budget showdown with Scotty Cam and some cheeky painting rule-breaking, The Block 2026’s Chantel and Wyatt have cemented themselves as one of the most entertaining teams this season.
The Gold Coast couple aren’t afraid to ruffle feathers with the other contestants either, with Chantel calling out Lisa after she accused Chantel of slacking off. “From what I saw, Lisa was napping most of the time and couldn’t make a decision to save her life, which is why they couldn’t complete the rooms,” Chantel said in an exclusive interview with Chattr.
However, amid all the drama playing out on The Block, rumours have also been swirling about Chantel and Wyatt’s relationship and whether the couple are still together after filming wrapped.
Prior to the season airing, sources told Daily Mail Australia that the couple broke up between the time when filming wrapped earlier this year and when the show started airing in August.
“Their break-up was one of the worst-kept secrets on the Gold Coast,” a Gold Coast source told the publication. “People were talking about it well before filming started.”

The Block’s Chantel reveals whether she and Wyatt have broken up
Chantel has poured cold water on the rumours about her and Wyatt breaking up, saying that they are completely fake.
“Wyatt and I are still very much together, and it’s so funny that it’s such a huge fascination. We have no desire to break up anytime soon,” she told Chattr in an exclusive interview.
The mum of three said that her and Wyatt’s relationship has gone from strength to strength, and said she can see a long and happy future with him.
“We have such a beautiful relationship. Wyatt is an amazing stepdad to my little kiddies and they’re so obsessed with him just like I am. We really encourage each other to grow and lift each other up, which I haven’t experienced in previous relationships,” she said.
“We have big plans for our future; we really would love to win The Block, buy a house close to the beach and travel with the kiddies.”
