Which couples make it to MAFS Final Vows?

Four couples made it to MAFS Final Vows: Alissa and David, Rachel and Steven, Bec and Danny and Filip and Stella. Gia and Scott quit the experiment for good after the final Dinner Party.

When does MAFS Final Vows air?

MAFS Final Vows aired on April 7, 2026. It was filled with heartbreak and happiness.

Did any of the MAFS couples say ‘yes’ at Final Vows?

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the MAFS couples who made it to Final Vows, and which ones said yes.

David and Alissa

Alissa Fay and David Momoh were one of the strongest couples on MAFS 2026, until cracks started to show during the final few weeks of the experiment. After Alissa’s behaviour during the Grass is Greener challenge, David removed his wedding ring, and Alissa followed suit.

However, David and Alissa broke up during Final Vows. David went first with a brutal speech, leaving Alissa visibly emotional.

“What I’ve come to understand is that with you there was no version of me that could win,” he said. “If I pushed harder, I would’ve been called controlling. If I held back, I was labelled disconnected. I’ve realised I can’t be the man who constantly fights to be heard.

In a dramatic move, David walked off after he delivered his speech, and refused to listen to what Alissa had to say.

“You’re not going to listen to my vows?” she asked. “That’s a no. Wow. I just wasted three months of my life and he won’t even listen to me.”

Instead of walking away, Alissa then read her vows out loud to an empty room.

“David you are everything I wanted and more, you are strong, you are kind, you are compassionate, you are a leader, but standing here today, I can only be honest. I love you David, for who you are, but not for me,” she said, while starting to cry.

Verdict: They say no.

Rachel and Steven

Rachel Gilmore and Steven Danyluk went into MAFS Final Vows in a really good place. While they came across some roadblocks early in the season, they’ve been putting forward a united front since Homestays, and tackled the Grass is Greener challenge without any problems.

Rachel used her speech to thank Steven for choosing her, and fought back tears as she poured out her heart. “It has been a slow burn, but it’s allowed something rare to grow between us — a deep, emotional connection, one I’ve never had with a man before,” she said.

“You’ve never asked me to tone it down, be less or shrink myself to fit beside you. You’ve let me, be me, completely, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted. I choose you, Steven. No hesitation. No holding back.”

Steven used his Final Vows speech to reaffirm his commitment to the bride. “I had hope, but I also found it hard to imagine anyone ever loving someone like me,” Steven admitted. “Rachel, you really changed that for me. You taught me that my heart wasn’t broken, it was just waiting for the right person to see it, and that person, is you, Rachel.

“So today, I’m standing here to tell you, that I choose you. I choose your smile, your laugh and your fire. And I promise from this day forward, to show up for you, take every risk with you, and to never stop choosing you. I am falling for you.”

Verdict: They say yes!

However, an insider told us that their relationship didn’t last long in the real world.

“Rachel and Steven both commit to each other at Final Vows, and they continue their relationship on the outside for two weeks, but they break up right before Reunion,” the insider spills. “They walk into the Reunion together, but they’re not in a relationship. They make a speech about it at the dinner table.”

The source explained that it ultimately came down to the fact that Steven’s feelings for Rachel weren’t strong enough.

“Eventually, he says, ‘No, I don’t like her enough’,” the source claims. “Rachel was crying because she was really into him and really liked him. So that was hectic.”

Danny and Bec

Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt ran into problems during their honeymoon, when Danny admitted there wasn’t much sexual chemistry. While you’d think a couple who stayed in the experiment for three months would have a future, it seems like Danny just stuck around for fame.

While Bec poured her heart out during Final Vows, hoping for a real relationship with Danny outside of the experiment, it didn’t go to plan.

“Daniel, you’re my best friend, my safe space, you make me a better person and you lift me up when I’m down. You’re the kind of man everyone wants in their corner,” Bec said. “You’re loyal, funny, and endlessly giving.

“So today, standing here, I’m choosing you, and I promise to choose you every day from here on out. Because, simply put: I love you.”

While Danny gave Bec a kiss after her speech, he then blindsided her with some brutal honesty.

“Stepping away from the experiment in the last week, I really thought about how I felt having space on my own again,” Danny said. “And as much as it breaks my heart to say this, I’ve felt a weight come off my shoulders, particularly at a time when I knew I should be missing you.

“Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I’m so sorry to do this to you, but I can’t be your husband anymore. I know this might be hard to hear, but I think we both deserve a happy relationship, and like, a healthy one. I’m so f**king sorry.”

Bec walked away from Danny and ended up sobbing in the middle of the forest. “I’ve been blindsided,” Bec cries. “I just didn’t think it was gonna go this way.”

Verdict: Bec says yes, Danny says no.

Stella and Filip

Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov’s engagement has been the worst-kept secret of MAFS 2026, and we finally got to see how it played out.

Stella declared her love to Filip first, telling him he makes her feel “bold and free”, while also inspiring her. “I can say with absolute certainty that we’re soulmates,” she said. “As we step into our next chapter, I promise to keep choosing you every day. To meet your strength with softness, your ambition with encouragement, and to keep laughing with you, learning with you, loving you in all your forms.”

Filip changed the game, telling Stella he loved her more than he thought possible. “I’ve never felt more certain about anything,” Filip said. “I know what my heart wants, something just for us, something that is truly ours,” he added, before getting down on one knee.

“Stella, will you marry me?”

The happy couple sealed the deal with a kiss and cuddle.

Verdict: They say yes!

And there you have it, MAFS Final Vows are done and dusted for another year. There’s still plenty of drama to come, however, with the MAFS Reunion Dinner Party and Reunion Commitment Ceremony right around the corner.

MAFS 2026 airs Sunday – Tuesday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
