Love Island Australia 2025 may have just kicked off, but a scroll through the cast’s Instagram already tells a story.

From sizzling new romances and bombshells to exes popping up where they don’t belong and unexpected revelations, this season is set to be explosive.

So, let’s take a closer look at this year’s cast and the vibes they’re giving on Instagram.

Lacey

At just 20, Lacey is the youngest islander in the villa, but she’s no stranger to the spotlight. The Sydney-based model and pageant queen most recently represented Australia at the Miss Celebrity competition in Vietnam in 2024.

Going by her Instagram, it looks like she already has a talent agent, Neon Mgmt, which is a global talent agency. I think we have a star on our hands, don’t you?

Yana

Followers in week one: 126,000

Yana is a 21-year-old Sydney-based plumber and is also one of Australia’s top tradie influencers. Judging by her Instagram, she’s a girl who knows exactly what she wants, and she’s no stranger to getting down and dirty. If all of that wasn’t enough of a flex, she also has her own clothing line, Tradie Chicks, that sells work clothing for the ladies.

Sharn

Followers in week one: 9,791

Sharn is a 26-year-old Clinic Manager and Dermal Therapist from Adelaide. Judging by her Instagram, she seems quite reserved but shines in the spotlight… and, of course, being a dermal therapist, she knows how to glow.

Ross

Followers in week one: 5,654

Ross, 28, may look like your typical Byron Bay guy with a mullet and moustache, but who is Ross really? A scroll through his Instagram shows him looking like your typical Aussie bloke that loves to be behind the decks as a DJ.

Taking a closer look, previous Love Islander Phoebe Spiller looks to be following Ross as well… coincidence? We’ll let you be the judge.

Cooper

Instagram: Cooperbenson_

Followers in week one: 2,041

https://www.instagram.com/cooperbenson_/

22-year-old Brisbane-based Cooper looks like he has been keeping things pretty quiet on the ’gram, but scroll a little deeper and you’ll find he’s all about boxing, the gym and beach days.

He’s also the only Islander who hasn’t posted a single snap from the villa… so will his Insta following stay as low-key as he is?

Jotham

Instagram: Jotham_russell

Followers in week one: 5,711

Gold Coast local Jotham may only be 23, but he’s already ticked off some massive milestones. He’s spent the past two years in the US playing NFL with the New England Patriots, no biggie.

With that kind of backstory, he’s got serious potential to blow up on Instagram once the Love Island spotlight hits.

Connor

Instagram: connor.deighton

Followers in week one: 7,446

https://www.instagram.com/connor.deighton/
/

25-year-old Connor is a Gold Coast local who gives total classic Aussie lad vibes on Instagram… but a deeper stalk tells a different story.

He actually lives with Zane from last year’s Love Island, and he’s also linked to former Islander Phoebe Spiller and MAFS 2024 bride Eden Harper. Hmmm… is it all just innocent Insta connections, or is there a little more going on behind the grid?

Gabby

Instagram: gabrielleemccarthy

Followers in week one: 121,000

https://www.instagram.com/gabrielleemccarthy/
/

Gabby, 21, is originally from Mackay but now calls the Gold Coast home. She’s always had main character energy, and for good reason.

Before stepping into the Love Island villa, she was already an established influencer working with brands like Fashion Nova and That’s So Fetch. Plus, she’s got links to US-Australia talent agency Zooz Group. Hmmm… Love Island USA might just be next on her list if she doesn’t find her soul mate in the Australian villa.

Mick

Instagram: mickmaio

Followers in week one: 116,000

https://www.instagram.com/mickmaio/
/

Mick, 27, is from Melbourne and already made a name for himself as an influencer before stepping into the Love Island villa.

Even though his breakup with fellow influencer Jasmine Tavares, played out publicly on TikTok, Mick’s spotlight hasn’t dimmed as he was crowned one of Melbourne’s most eligible bachelors in a recent newspaper feature.

And, according to his Instagram, he’s also connected with Shane Warne’s son, Jackson. There’s no doubt that Mick is the one to watch in the villa.

Isabel

Instagram: Isabelvella

Followers in week one: 28,700

https://www.instagram.com/isabelvella/

Isabel, 27, from Sydney, is a businesswoman running her own hair salon, The Cabello Room. She’s already smashing it in the business world, and a scroll through her Instagram shows she’s all about wholesome, wellness vibes. A little telling?

She’s the only Islander this season that Sophie Monk, host of Love Island Australia, follows — maybe she’s in it for the long haul. We’ll have to wait and see.

Kye

Instagram: kye_lambert

Followers in week one: 5,292

https://www.instagram.com/kye_lambert/

Kye, 22, from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, seems pretty low-key on Instagram but looks like he is always up for a good time. Let’s see how his following grows after he tries to find love in the villa.
